Este artículo presenta una revisión narrativa de la producción empírica y conceptual en torno a adolescentes y jóvenes en orfandad a causa del homicidio (por feminicidio o desaparición de un progenitor) en América Latina. El objetivo es describir los temas emergentes del fenómeno, los cuales se sistematizan en siete ejes: 1) alteraciones e impacto psicológico; 2) secreto familiar; 3) duelo complicado; 4) estudios sobre la vivencia de la pérdida y la reconstrucción de sí mismo; 5) reestructuración familiar; 6) vulnerabilidad individual y estigmatización; 7) vulneración de los derechos humanos. La investigación con adolescentes y jóvenes es limitada; sin embargo, supone beneficios a ellos y sus familias.

This research paper develops an analysis of orality as a narrative resource in Ricardo Zelarayán's poetics. After a brief introduction to the objectives of this work and to the bibliography that, up to now, has dealt with this author, still meager outside Argentina, two sections are displayed corresponding to two scenes from the first chapter of Lata peinada, an unfinished novel that Laura Estrin edited in 2008 with the author's help. The reasons why these scenes, as enigmatic as revealing, have been chosen are the reproduction they make of the traditional tension between popular culture and literate culture and the fact that they allow the elucidation of a Zelarayanian author's figure. The results that this textual exegesis will illuminate are, on the one hand, that the voice occupies a preeminent place in the poetics of Zelarayán compared to the letter, as will be seen from the first scene, and the orphanhood that defines the writer's trade, whose poetics isolates him from the literate tradition. Collaterally, attention will be paid to the method of construction of the characters in the novel, the importance of the etymology of their names, traditional music as a narrative resource, or the presence of the «young orphan» motif, typical of the Latin American narrative of between centuries. The following study describes the emotional changes experienced by people who were orphaned during their childhood due to the armed conflict in Colombia. A research with a qualitative methodology was carried out, in which, through four in-depth interviews carried out with the victims, it was shown that children and adolescents must assume roles that do not correspond to them, such as the financial burden of their home, raising their siblings, and the abandonment of their education and childhood dreams. The interviewees narrated how they faced displacement and forced recruitment and how they had to get used to new family nuclei and institutions. Their descriptions reflect that they have assumed the development of a childhood, youth, and adulthood dealing with grief and unresolved losses, such as living emotionally mutilated for the rest of their lives, as they mentioned. Other relevant findings of the study are the behaviors of social isolation and physical consequences that the victims develop, even in adulthood, because of the emotional impact of the violent loss of their parents due to the conflict. This research highlights the importance of recognizing minors orphaned by the conflict as victims, and accompanying them in the process of mourning the death of their relatives, in times closer to the traumatic event, as well as providing tools, based on real experiences, that allow them to adapt to their new family and life dynamics with the support of mental health professionals and family counselors.
