The article titled "Photogrammetry for the analysis of flood-prone areas through two-dimensional hydraulic modeling" presents research on the use of photogrammetry and two-dimensional hydraulic modeling to analyze flood-prone areas. The study was conducted in the hydrographic basin of the Aranjuez River, in the province of Puntarenas, Costa Rica. A digital elevation model obtained through photogrammetry was used to define flood levels and the distribution of flow velocities during floods. The results showed that photogrammetry allowed for the precise identification of flood-prone areas and the representation of the spatial variation of water depth and flow velocity in flood risk maps.
