Inter-organizational knowledge sharing is crucial for the scientific, social, and economic development of societies. Knowledge sharing processes and systems are challenged not only by individual and organizational factors but also by social, technical, and political inter-organizational contributors. The majority of existing researches have focused on situations such as interactive supply chains, virtual organizations, and multinational organizations, so that it can be said that Inter-organizational knowledge sharing is neglected in collaborative processes. This paper examines inter-organizational knowledge sharing in a collaborative project in which independent public organizations work together for providing social care for students. This research aims to investigate the impact of the variables of knowledge worker, peers, inter-organizational knowledge-sharing system, organization, and coalition on sharing knowledge in multiple inter-organizational relationships. This quantitative correlational study employed a 44-item questionnaire, which was distributed among the system users in Alborz province. The sample size was calculated using Cochran’s formula, and for sampling, proportional stratified sampling method was used. The SmartPLS3 software was used to develop a confirmatory factor analysis model and structural equations, while SPSS software was employed for descriptive statistical tests. In this study, the impact of the knowledge worker, peers, sharing system, organization, and coalition on knowledge sharing via interorganizational knowledge sharing systems was confirmed, among which the variables of the knowledge worker and peers exerted the greatest impact on knowledge sharing which shows the main priorities of managers to improve knowledge transfer functions in this system.

Conclusion: Unlike the conventional impression technique, the M and I adaptation decreased by an increase in cavity depth in the digital technique; nonetheless, the digital impression technique still showed higher M and I adaptation than the conventional technique.

Introduction: Sufficient information is not available regarding the comparative accuracy of digital and conventional impression techniques at different depths for the fabrication of endocrown restorations. Thus, this study aimed to compare the marginal (M) and internal (I) adaptation of endocrowns at different depths fabricated by the digital and conventional impression techniques. Materials and Methods: In this in vitro study, two endodontically treated molar teeth with 2‐ and 4‐mm cavity depths were used for the fabrication of endocrowns. Conventional and digital impressions were made from each tooth 17 times. A total of 68 zirconia endocrowns were fabricated and seated, and their I and M adaptation was assessed by the silicone replica technique. Data were statistically analyzed. Results: The M and I gaps at 2‐ and 4‐mm cavity depths were significantly smaller in the digital, than the conventional, impression technique (p < 0.05). Increasing the cavity depth significantly increased the M and I gaps only in the digital technique (p < 0.05). The largest gap in all groups was noted in the pulpal (P) region (p < 0.05). The smallest gap was found in the M and cervical (C) regions in the conventional groups with 2‐ and 4‐mm cavity depths, and the digital group with 4 mm cavity depth, and in the M region in the digital group with 2 mm cavity depth (p < 0.05). Abstract Background The midwifery continuity of care model is one of the care models that have not been evaluated well in some countries including Iran. We aimed to assess the effect of a program based on this model on the clinical competence of midwifery students and delivery outcomes in Ahvaz, Iran. Methods This sequential embedded mixed-methods study will include a quantitative and a qualitative phase. In the first stage, based on the Iranian midwifery curriculum and review of seminal midwifery texts, a questionnaire will be developed to assess midwifery students’ clinical competence. Then, in the second stage, the quantitative phase (randomized clinical trial) will be conducted to see the effect of continuity of care provided by students on maternal and neonatal outcomes. In the third stage, a qualitative study (conventional content analysis) will be carried out to investigate the students’ and mothers’ perception of continuity of care. Finally, the results of the quantitative and qualitative phases will be integrated. Discussion According to the nature of the study, the findings of this research can be effectively used in providing conventional midwifery services in public centers and in midwifery education. Trial registration This study was approved by the Ethics Committee of Ahvaz Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences (IR.AJUMS.REC.1401.460). Abstract Background Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is characterized by insulin resistance and hormonal disorder in women. This study aimed to assess the effect of maternal PCOS on screening of aneuploidy in the first and second-trimesters. Methods This case-control study was conducted in Arash Hospital and Nilou Laboratory in 2017–2018. The screening test was conducted on 90 PCOS and 90 healthy mothers. Introduction Mothers of preterm infants need support to deal with the issues caused by the early birth of their infants. Objective The authors examined the impact of a multifaceted supportive approach on the mothers’ perceived support levels. Methods The present quasi-experimental study was performed on 143 mother–preterm infant pairs, in two neonatal intensive care units (NICUs) of referral and educational hospitals in Tehran, Iran. The base of developed interventions was known to support system patterns of mothers with preterm infants. Different supportive interventions (appraisal, instrumental, emotional, and informational) of mothers were implemented during three months. The Nurse Parent Support Tool was applied for assessing perceptions of perceived support by mothers. Routine care was provided for the control group. The results were analyzed by STATA software 13. Categorical variables were analyzed by chi-square test, t -test, and inverse probability treatment weights. Results Following adjustments of mean differences of outcomes between study groups (95% confidence interval), all support scores, such as instrumental support, −1.23 (95% CI −1.04 to −1.43), total support, −1.83 (95% CI −1.6 to −2.06), appraisal support, −2.01 (95% CI −1.73 to −2.29), emotional support, −1.87 (95% CI −2.15 to 1.6), and informational support, −2.12 (95% CI −1.82 to −2.43), were significantly higher in the interventional group than in the control group ( p

The relationship between reactive oxygen and nitrogen species (ROS-RNS) secretion and the concomitant biocorrosion of degradable magnesium (Mg) materials is poorly understood. We found that Mg foils implanted short term in vivo (24 h) displayed large amounts of proinflammatory F4/80+/iNOS + macrophages at the interface. We sought to investigate the interplay between biodegrading Mg materials (98.6% Mg, AZ31 & AZ61) and macrophages (RAW 264.7) stimulated with lipopolysaccharide (RAW 264.7LPS) to induce ROS-RNS secretion. To test how these proinflammatory ROS-RNS secreting cells interact with Mg corrosion in vitro, Mg and AZ61 discs were suspended approximately 2 mm above a monolayer of RAW 264.7 cells, either with or without LPS. The surfaces of both materials showed acute (24 h) changes when incubated in the proinflammatory RAW 264.7LPS environment. Mg discs incubated with RAW 264.7LPS macrophages showed greater corrosion pitting, while AZ61 showed morphological and elemental bulk product changes via scanning electron microscopy-energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (SEM-EDX). X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) analysis showed a reduction in the Ca/P ratio of the surface products for AZ61 disc incubated with RAW 264.7LPS, but not the Mg discs. Moreover, RAW 264.7LPS macrophages were found to be more viable in the acute biodegradative environment generated by Mg materials, as demonstrated by calcein-AM and cleaved (active) caspase-3 staining (CC3). LPS stimulation caused an increase in ROS-RNS, and a decrease in antioxidant peroxidase activity. Mg and AZ61 were found to change this ROS-RNS balance, independently of physiological antioxidant mechanisms. The findings highlight the complexity of the cellular driven acute inflammatory responses to different biodegradable Mg, and how it can potentially affect performance of these materials.

Nanofluid flooding, as a new technique to enhance oil recovery, has recently aroused much attention. The current study considers the performance of a novel iron-carbon nanohybrid to EOR. Carbon nanoparticles was synthesized via the hydrothermal method with citric acid and hybridize with iron (Fe3O4). The investigated nanohybrid is characterized by its rheological properties (viscosity), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) analysis. The efficiency of the synthetized nanoparticle in displacing heavy oil is initially assessed using an oil–wet glass micromodel at ambient conditions. Nanofluid samples with various concentrations (0.05 wt % and 0.5 wt %) dispersed in a water base fluid with varied salinities were first prepared. The prepared nanofluids provide high stability with no additive such as polymer or surfactant. Before displacement experiments were run, to achieve a better understanding of fluid–fluid and grain–fluid interactions in porous media, a series of sub-pore scale tests—including interfacial tension (IFT), contact angle, and zeta potential—were conducted. Nanofluid flooding results show that the nanofluid with the medium base fluid salinity and highest nanoparticle concertation provides the highest oil recovery. However, it is observed that increasing the nanofluid concentration from 0.05% to 0.5% provided only three percent more oil. In contrast, the lowest oil recovery resulted from low salinity water flooding. It was also observed that the measured IFT value between nanofluids and crude oil is a function of nanofluid concentration and base fluid salinities, i.e., the IFT values decrease with the increase of nanofluid concentration and base fluid salinity reduction. However, the base fluid salinity enhancement leads to wettability alteration towards more water-wetness. The main mechanisms responsible for oil recovery enhancement during nanofluid flooding is mainly attributed to wettability alteration toward water-wetness and micro-dispersion formation. However, the interfacial tension (IFT) reduction using the iron-carbon nanohybrid is also observed but the reduction is not significant.
