International audience; Das disziplinübergreifende Projekt MERGING hat in drei europäischen Städten Wohninitiativen ins Leben gerufen, um Migrierten einen besseren Zugang zu integrationskritischen Dienstleistungen zu ermöglichen.; Housing represents a central factor in existing integration policies and initiatives across EU migration policies, regional economic and social systems, and individual practices. The EU-funded MERGING project will conduct an interdisciplinary study of migrant integration relying on participatory housing initiatives to test an innovative method with a view to encouraging and assuring a sustainable migrant integration process. The advanced and multi-method strategy provides in-depth analyses of the long-term impacts of participatory housing initiatives, factors supporting or preventing migrants’ access to civic rights in local communities, and local stakeholders’ responses to migrant socioeconomic integration.

International audience; The purpose of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of export promotion programs (EPPs). More specifically, we analyze the effect of EPPs on export intensity. The empirical study is based on a survey of 599 European manufacturing companies who are using EPPs for internationalizing their activities. Our findings show that EPPs tend to increase foreign market sales, but that this positive relationship is negatively moderated by firm size and the technology-intensity of their industries. They indicate that EPPs appear to be less effective for larger and technology-intensive firms. Our study contributes to enrich our understanding of the impact EPPs have on export performance.

International audience; The concept of Circular Economy (CE) has been receiving a lot of attention over the past years from academics, practitioners and policy makers. This is particularly the case for SMEs who find in CE a way to overcome their resource scarcity. However, little is known about how embracing the CE perspective can contribute to meet the SDGs. The present chapter aims at answering this question. Through a single case study, we explore the drivers, managerial practices and collaborations implemented by SMEs to generate economic, social and environmental values.
