Anthropogenic derivations can be seen in the landscape, registered in the impressions in each cut in time and space and suggest the socio-environmental dynamics of society with nature, mainly in a watershed of considerable fragility. This research aims to analyze the interrelationships between man, in the space of a hydrographic basin as a means and the processes triggered naturally and/or of an anthropogenic order. There was a growth in permanent and demographic private households within the upper part of the watershed, thus marking the consolidation of the advanced urban carpet spread across different areas, to the detriment of the suppression of vegetation cover. This evolution was followed by the provision of basic services for the maintenance of the city population, as well as the need to expand to meet social demand. Unsustainable actions to dispose of generated waste have impacts on the environmental system of the hydrographic basin and triggered negative degradation. It appears that the socio-spatial evolution must be aligned to the socio-environmental contrasts with ways of not making the condition of quality of life in the city unfeasible. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
