The objective of this study was to evaluate whether ileal conduit (IC) versus a neobladder (NB) can play a role on morbidity during radical cystectomy. Using propensity score matching, 170 patients were selected and coupled in 85 pairs adequately balanced for the desired factors. The comparison of the indicators of outcome between the 2 groups showed that there were no differences for all of the compared features. There was no difference in morbidity for IC versus NB during radical cystectomy.
