Changsha City is the political, economic and cultural centre of Hunan Province. In recent years, because of large-scale urban construction and special geological structure, land subsidence has become one of the main geological disasters in Changsha City, which seriously threatens the health of buildings and infrastructure. To solve this problem, this paper monitored the land subsidence in Changsha City from 2015 to 2021 using the Point Target (PT) based Small Baseline Subset InSAR (SBAS-InSAR), revealed the spatial distribution characteristics of land subsidence in the study area, studied the causes of subsidence, and carried out geological disaster risk assessment. The results show that the overall stability of Changsha City is dominated by uneven subsidence. The subsidence areas are mainly distributed in the north of Kaifu District, Moon Island, Malan Mountain Chuangzhi Park and the periphery of the main urban area. The maximum settlement rate is about 87 mm/year, and the cumulative settlement reaches 250 mm. In China, table tennis has always been one of the most popular sports, with small field restrictions and it is simple and fun to play. But what is unknown is that with China's major table tennis events thriving, the psychological pressure of table tennis players' training is also increasing. However, the existing training methods obviously do not pay enough attention to psychological training, and there is no complete system for psychological training. Although the current dynamic heart rate measurement method can play a certain role in the detection, there is still the disadvantage of low detection accuracy. The heart rate is an important sign of life, and the monitoring of the heart rate of table tennis players should be strengthened, reflecting the functional state of the athletes' heart, and facilitating the more intuitive adjustment of the psychological training method of athletes. The heart rate measurement method based on face recognition contains a plate content that is rich. Through deep learning face recognition, the heart rate measurement method has high calculation efficiency, can effectively eliminate the influence of other external environmental factors, can use video recording, and can use face recognition and physiological parameters' quantification to monitor athletes' heart rate changes in real time; the visible artificial intelligence auxiliary diagnosis potential is huge. To this end, this paper aims to provide effective suggestions for the psychological training of table tennis players with deep learning as the technical support. In response to this, the aim of this paper was to design a deep learning-based face recognition heart rate measurement method that judges the psychological fluctuations of athletes through changes in heart rate. We conducted a questionnaire survey with the table tennis players of the Hunan team as the object of investigation, so as to understand the source of the psychological pressure of athletes and make reasonable suggestions. The experimental results of this paper show that the heart rate error of the video heart rate measurement algorithm is within 3% in the calm state and within 4% in the post-exercise state. This can effectively measure psychological fluctuations, and through investigation and research, it can provide an effective method for the psychological training of table tennis players. The Chinese government is making vigorous efforts to control agricultural pollution. The promotion of an ecological planting–breeding mix pattern is one of them. Farmers' mode of production will affect their subjective well-being. Thus, this paper aims to analyze the impact of adopting the ecological planting–breeding mix pattern on farmers' subjective well-being based on 895 pieces of survey data from the provinces of Hubei, Hunan, and Jiangxi in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. Using the endogenous switching regression model, we find that the adoption of the ecological planting–breeding mix pattern has a significant positive effect on farmers' subjective well-being. Based on this counterfactual hypothesis, if the farmers who actually adopted the ecological planting–breeding mix pattern did not adopt it, their subjective well-being would decrease from 4.006 to 3.669. Further examination indicates that self-worth identification, income increase, and neighborhood communication could be potential mechanisms. Additionally, the effect of the ecological planting–breeding mix pattern on subjective well-being is stronger in the group with low financial support. The technical support provided by the government does not have a significant regulatory effect on the adoption of the ecological planting–breeding mix pattern on subjective well-being. Our results suggest that farmers' ecological production behavior can affect their subjective well-being. Addressing the excessive input and inefficient use of agrochemicals are crucial for global food security, environmental protection, and human health. This paper offers a new idea from the perspective of outsourcing agricultural production. The impact of outsourcing on the frequency and intensity of agrochemical inputs were theoretically analyzed and empirically tested using a field survey of 1211 farmers in Heilongjiang, Henan, and Hunan, the major food-producing areas in China. A Logit regression framework was used to analyze the effect, a conditional mixture process (CMP) method was used to address potential endogeneity concerns, and a mediation effect model was used to dissect the mechanism. The results show that the effect of outsourcing on both input frequency and input intensity of agrochemicals was positive at the 1% significance level. The positive effect conclusion still holds even after addressing the potential endogeneity concerns, and in the sub-sample estimates for maize, wheat, and rice. We conclude that outsourcing can improve the utilization efficiency of agrochemicals by increasing the frequency of agrochemical inputs, but fail to solve the excessive agrochemical inputs and even leads to a further increase in the intensity of agrochemical inputs. Moreover, the mechanism for an increase in agrochemical input intensity due to outsourcing was explored, and it is more likely to be caused by inhibiting farmers' investment in soil improvement measures. Dynamic detection of forest change is the fundamental method of monitoring forest resources and an essential means of preserving the accuracy and timeliness of forest land resource data. This study focuses on a deep learning-based method for dynamic forest change detection using Sentinel-2 satellite data, especially within mountainous areas. First, the performance of various deep learning models (U-Net++, U-Net, LinkNet, DeepLabV3+, and STANet) and various loss functions (CrossEntropyLoss(CELoss), DiceLoss, FocalLoss, and their combinations) are compared on a self-made dataset. Next, the best model and loss function is used to predict the annual forest change in Hunan Province from 2017 to 2021, and the detection results are evaluated in 12 sample areas. Finally, forest changes are detected in Sentinel-2 images for each quarter of 2017–2021. In addition, a dynamic detection map of forest change in Hunan Province from 2017 to 2021 is drawn. The results reveal that the U-Net++ model and the CELoss performed the best on the self-made dataset, with a Precision of 0.795, a Recall of 0.748, and an F1-score of 0.771. The results of annual and quarterly forest change detection were consistent with the changes in the Sentinel-2 images with accurate boundaries. This result demonstrates the high practicality and generalizability of the method used in this paper. This paper achieves a rapid and accurate extraction of multi-temporal Sentinel-2 image forest change areas based on the U-Net++ model, which can be used as a benchmark for future large territorial areas monitoring and management of forest resources. The Ziyuan-1 (ZY-1) 02E launched on December 26, 2021 is equipped with a thermal infrared sensor (IRS), which has a ground resolution of better than 16m and a width priority of 115km, balancing the advantages of high resolution and large wide observation. The geometric performance of image data is the premise of remote sensing application, and the difficulty in evaluating the geometric performance of thermal infrared image data lies in the extraction of well-distributed, reliable and accurate GCPs. To extract GCP from high-precision reference images, it is necessary to overcome the feature differences between images caused by different spectral responses. This paper adopts a phase correlation matching method based on frequency domain to realize the fine registration of the data obtained by the emission thermal spectral band with the data from the reflectance spectral band, which can not only solve the GCP extraction of conventional thermal infrared images collected during the day, but also obtain satisfactory GCP data from thermal infrared data acquired at night. In order to test the GCP method proposed in this paper, three typical areas are selected as the experimental areas, including Yiyang City in Hunan, Nagqu City in Xizang and Hami City in Xinjiang, and the internal geometric accuracy and absolute geolocation accuracy of the thermal infrared data spanning one year are evaluated and analyzed by using the reference data composed of the DOM with an accuracy of 2m and the DEM with an accuracy of 10m. The research results indicate that the internal geometric accuracy of ZY-1 02E IRS satellite image data is better than 1.0 pixels, and the performance is satisfactory. However, its absolute geolocation accuracy needs to be continuously improved, especially there are systematic errors in the ascending data at night that require further research. To control heavy metal pollution effectively, prevention of heavy metal accumulations in agricultural soils should be the priority rather than remediation of heavy metal contamination. In this research, papers which contained input and output fluxes of Cd, As, Cr, Hg, and Pb in topsoil (the plough layer) of agricultural lands in Hunan, Zhejiang, the Yangtze River Delta, Hainan, and China as a whole were explored. Fluxes of heavy metal species were recalculated, and future trends of pollution were predicted. Also, cases regarding the application of technologies to control the input and output of heavy metals were analyzed. Results indicated that atmospheric decomposition was the dominant input source of heavy metals in all study sites except Hainan. The relative contributions of fertilizers, irrigation water, and straw returning fluctuated greatly among different sites. Cd pollution in all sites was the most serious, followed by Cr and Pb. In Hunan, Cd has already exceeded the maximum limit value and needs to be controlled urgently. The input of heavy metals from irrigation water, fertilizers, and straw returning could be controlled by proposing more policies to manage their quality and application amounts. The amount of heavy metals absorbed by plants could be increased by cultivating crops with hyperaccumulators and high-biomass plants. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study aims to investigate the knowledge and attitudes of participants and potential participants in clinical trials toward electronic informed consent. We conducted a survey-based cross-sectional study in Hunan Province, China in March 2021. A total of 547 respondents were included in this study. All questions in an 8-item survey section assessing participants' knowledge of electronic informed consent received correct answers from at least 70% of participants. In terms of attitude scores, most participants (86.3%) believed that electronic informed consent is more convenient than the paper-based version, and more than half (51.2%) believed that electronic informed consent could completely replace the paper-based version. Responses indicated that common concerns about electronic informed consent were its security and confidentiality, legal benefits, and implications for rights protection. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Planners need to fully understand the quantity of land supply and its matching relationship with population demand, as these are prerequisites for urban greenspace planning. Most papers have focused on single cities and parks, with little attention paid to comparative analysis between multiple cities on a macro scale, ignoring the influence of spatial effects and leading to a lack of basis for regional green infrastructure planning. This paper selected 102 cities in Hunan province as case studies to comprehensively conduct empirical research using the spatial mismatch model and the geographically weighted regression method. The urban parkland in Hunan province are characterized by significant spatial heterogeneity and correlation, and the mismatch between land supply and population demand should not be ignored, with oversupply and undersupply co-existing. The urban parkland and its mismatch with population are influenced by a number of factors, and each factor has a stronger influence on the latter than the former. Different factors vary widely in the nature and intensity of their effects, and the dynamics are more complex. Economic development, financial capacity, and air quality are key factors, with the former having a negative impact and the latter having opposite (positive) effects. We suggest that when the government allocates land resources and targets for urban parks, it should formulate a differentiated allocation plan based on the supply and demand conditions of each city; besides, it should also place emphasis on regional integration and coordination and support mutual cooperation. In this paper, soil heavy metals Zn, Pb, Cd, Hg, As, and Sb were measured using a comprehensive distribution sampling in a mining area in Hunan, China. Machine learning data pre-processing techniques were used to process the raw data. Based on the evaluation criteria of the potential risk index, the number of clusters was set to 5, and K-means was used to cluster the sampled data. A convenient and effective evaluation model applied to evaluate of soil heavy metal pollution was obtained by comparing the algorithms of different kernel functions in SVM, with a correct rate of 0.9778 in the training set and 0.9556 in the test set, which has good classification and evaluation ability. The rapid development of China's manufacturing industry has brought about environmental problems that have aroused people's attention to improving carbon emission efficiency and reducing carbon emissions. In this paper, 13 prefecture-level cities in Hunan Province from 2010 to 2020 were selected as research samples, and the coupling coordination degree model and super-efficiency slacks-based measure (SBM) model were used to calculate the level of integration of "two industries" (manufacturing and producer services, short for "TI") and the efficiency of carbon emissions. Then, hypotheses are established: The integration of TI can promote the improvement of carbon emission efficiency; The integration of TI promotes technological innovation; Technological innovation can promote carbon emission efficiency; Technological innovation is an intermediary in integrating TI affecting carbon emission efficiency. By using the fixed effect model and the mediation effect test method, we empirically analyze the influence of the integration of TI on carbon emission efficiency and the mediating role of technological innovation in this process. The conclusions are as follows: the integration of TI has a significant promoting effect on carbon emission efficiency; The integration of TI improves carbon emission efficiency by promoting technological innovation, and technological innovation bears part of the intermediary effect in the process of the impact of the integration of TI on carbon emission efficiency. This study focuses on the streets and spatial networks of the historic urban area in Changsha, the capital of Hunan Province, China, by mainly investigating the evolution of their geometric and topological characteristics. It draws on the theories and methods of urban morphology and space syntax, combines the digital historical maps at different times, and uses methods such as historical map spatial interpretation, geographic information system (GIS), sDNA tools, and urban morphological parameter analysis to explore and sort out the evolutionary process of the street and alley network in Changsha from the early modern period to the present. The paper constructs a parameter system for analyzing the street and alley network of historic urban areas from a geometric and topological perspective. It introduces the indicators of road density, road orientation, intersection density, and approaches such as closeness, betweenness, and intelligibility in space syntax into the parameter analysis framework of street and alley network morphology and spatial characteristics evolution. By comparing the changes in various parameters at different spatial scales, the process of the spatial order evolution of the street and alley network in the historic urban area is analyzed, and the evolutionary rules of the various periods' morphological characteristics are extracted. Drought is a disaster that seriously constrains economic development and endangers human life. This paper explores the potential of Global Navigation Satellite System Reflectometry (GNSS-R) for drought monitoring, using Cyclone Global Navigation Satellite System (CYGNSS) data to monitor drought in Jiangxi and Hunan Provinces, China, in 2022. This study applies the Random Undersampling Boosting (RUSBoost) algorithm to detect waterbodies and linear regression to retrieve soil moisture (SM). Result shows that drought in September was heaviest, with the area of Poyang Lake in Jiangxi and Dongting Lake in Hunan decreasing by 70.2% and 76.9%, respectively, compared to that in June. The variation in retrieved SM shows that the Poyang Lake Plain and Jitai Basin in Jiangxi and the Dongting Lake, Yuanjiang River, and Xiangjiang River basins in Hunan suffered from the most serious drought. The variation in retrievals shows high consistency with various reference datasets, including Soil Moisture Active Passive (SMAP) SM data and vegetation condition index (VCI). This study explores the impact of farm households' social capital characteristics and local government policies on the selection of farmland transfer contracts in China's rural industrial revitalization context. Utilizing field research data from 1,979 households in ethnic areas of Hunan Province, this paper constructs an econometric model to assess how farm households' social capital and local governments' involvement in rural industrial revitalization influence farmland transfer contract selections. The findings indicate that, lacking government program support, farmers' social capital significantly affects contract type and duration, but not the rent. Specifically, farmers possessing extensive social capital prefer verbal and short-term contracts (coefficients of 0.525 and 0.643, significant at the 5% level), whereas their influence on rent (coefficient of 2.418, significant at the 5% level) manifests under government program support. These results challenge the conventional theory of farmland transfer contracts and offer substantial empirical support for the development of local government policies in rural industrial revitalization, underlining the critical role of government guidance and social capital in enhancing farmland transfer. Traditional Chinese buildings serve as a carrier for the inheritance of traditional culture and national characteristics. In the context of rural revitalization, achieving the 3D reconstruction of traditional village buildings is a crucial technical approach to promoting rural planning, improving living environments, and establishing digital villages. However, traditional algorithms primarily target urban buildings, exhibiting limited adaptability and less ideal feature extraction performance for traditional residential buildings. As a result, guaranteeing the accuracy and reliability of 3D models for different types of traditional buildings remains challenging. In this paper, taking Jingping Village in Western Hunan as an example, we propose a method that combines multiple algorithms based on the slope segmentation of the roof to extract feature lines. Firstly, the VDVI and CSF algorithms are used to extract the building and roof point clouds based on the MVS point cloud. Secondly, according to roof features, village buildings are classified, and a 3D roof point cloud is projected into 2D regular grid data. Finally, the roof slope is segmented via slope direction, and internal and external feature lines are obtained after refinement through Canny edge detection and Hough straight line detection. The results indicate that the CSF algorithm can effectively extract the roofs of I-shaped, L-shaped, and U-shaped traditional buildings. The accuracy of roof surface segmentation based on slope exceeds 99.6%, which is significantly better than the RANSAC algorithm and the region segmentation algorithm. This method is capable of efficiently extracting the characteristic lines of roofs in low-rise buildings within traditional villages. The growth of rural residential land (RRL) areas has led to the encroachment of cultivated land, which has seriously reduced cultivated land use efficiency (CLUE). This paper takes 42 cities in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River (MRYR) as an example, using the kernel density estimation method, the Super-SBM model, and mediating effect test methods to explore the impact of RRL change on CLUE during 2000–2020. Specifically, based on the analysis of the spatiotemporal distribution characteristics of RRL and CLUE, this paper attempts to further explore the influence path of RRL change on CLUE and test whether there is a mediating effect. The results show that (1) the overall RRL area increased by 30,386.34 hm2, except for the decrease in RRL area in a few regions of Hunan Province, and the RRL area in other regions increased. (2) The hot-spot and sub-hot-spot regions of CLUE in the MRYR were mainly concentrated in northwestern Hubei Province and eastern Hunan Province, and the hot-spot and sub-hot-spot regions in Hunan Province are the highest among the three provinces. (3) Under the control of socioeconomic variables, the change in RRL has a significant negative impact on CLUE. (4) The area of cultivated land occupied by rural residential land (CLRRL) has a mediating role during 2000–2020, while the per capita cultivated land area (PCLA) and the rural permanent population (RPP) only have a mediating role during 2000–2010. The lung cancer incidence and mortality in China have always been high. Moreover, due to the limited level of professional technology, misdiagnosis and missed diagnosis of lung cancer often occur. To improve the accuracy of diagnosis, this paper proposes an interpretable diagnostic method for lung cancer based on Chinese electronic medical records (EMRs). First, to overcome the difficulty in word segmentation of clinical texts in Chinese EMRs, a dictionary construction method is proposed based on the idea of maximal clique, and 730 medical professional terms related to lung diseases are identified. Then, the ProbSparse self‐attention mechanism and self‐attention distilling operation in Informer are used to improve the Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformer (BERT) to realize the representation of long clinical texts with lower time complexity and memory consumption. Finally, the convolutional neural network with an attention mechanism is employed to process the representation results to realize the interpretable prediction of lung cancer. This method is applied to the lung cancer diagnosis of inpatients in a tertiary hospital in Hunan Province, obtaining excellent results of about 0.9 for area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUROC) and area under the precision‐recall curve (AUPRC). In addition, the results of the comparative analysis with existing dictionaries, word embedding methods and diagnostic methods further confirm the superiority of the proposed method. Specifically, the proposed method improves the precision by at least 6%, the recall by at least 2.6%, the F1 score by at least 5.2%, AUROC by at least 7.3% and AUPRC by at least 7.7% compared with all these state‐of‐the‐art methods. This paper proposes a network structure called CAMP-Net, which considers the problem that traditional deep learning algorithms are unable to manage the pixel information of different bands, resulting in poor differentiation of feature representations of different categories and causing classification overfitting. CAMP-Net is a parallel network that, firstly, enhances the interaction of local information of bands by grouping the spectral nesting of the band information and then proposes a parallel processing model. One branch is responsible for inputting the features, normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) and normalized difference water index (NDWI) band information generated by grouped nesting into the ViT framework, and enhancing the interaction and information flow between different channels in the feature map by adding the channel attention mechanism to realize the expressive capability of the feature map. The other branch assists the network's ability to enhance the extraction of different feature channels by designing a multi-layer perceptron network based on the utilization of the feature channels. Finally, the classification results are obtained by fusing the features obtained by the channel attention mechanism with those obtained by the MLP to achieve pixel-level multispectral image classification. In this study, the application of the algorithm was carried out in the feature distribution of South County, Yiyang City, Hunan Province, and the experiments were conducted based on 10 m Sentinel-2 multispectral RS images. The experimental results show that the overall accuracy of the algorithm proposed in this paper is 99.00% and the transformer (ViT) is 95.81%, while the performance of the algorithm in the Sentinel-2 dataset was greatly improved for the transformer. With the implementation of China's rural revitalization strategy, the societies and economies of villages have been comprehensively developed, but the carbon emissions in rural areas have also been increasing year by year. Therefore, low-carbon control of the rural spatial form has become an important element of rural revitalization. This paper takes 18 suburban integrated villages in the plain terrain within Hunan Province, China, as the research object, quantifies the spatial morphology indicators of the overall rural community and the neighborhood building groups, and investigates the relationship between rural spatial form and carbon emissions in plain terrain, aiming to clarify the content of low-carbon control in rural spatial planning. The main conclusions are as follows. (1) The correlation between spatial form and carbon emissions at different levels of suburban integrated villages is "total volume form > neighborhood building groups combination form > overall layout form > neighborhood connection form". When the scale of the villages is fixed, the spatial layout of the neighborhood building groups has a more direct influence on the carbon emissions of the residents. (2) The building density in the overall spatial form of the village has the greatest influence on the carbon emissions of the suburban integrated villages, and it is positively correlated. (3) There is a negative correlation between the form of neighborhood building groups and carbon emissions within a certain range. When the distance between the front and back of a building is 8–12 m, the carbon emissions of the building decrease with the increase in the degree of aggregation on the building, but when the distance between the front and back of a building reaches 12 m or more, the influence of the group layout form on the carbon emissions of the building is weakened. (4) Finally, based on the principle of "macro-control quantity and meso-control shape", this paper proposes new control content and indicators for Hunan's rural territorial space planning, which can provide a reference for low-carbon control in rural space form planning with suburban integration. The fresh agricultural product (FAP) has highly perishable, hard to storage, and huge cost during the picking, storage, and transportation stage. In this paper, we aim to develop a multi-objective optimization model to minimize the total cost of collecting the FAP, where from the acquisition points aside the planting areas to the collection center, and the cost of transferring them to the processing factories (demand points) as well as to minimize the freshness decay during these processes. A epsilon constraint algorithm is used to convert the objective, freshness decay into constraints, and the model is transformed into a single-objective optimization model. According to the characteristics of the model, a hybrid algorithm based on genetic algorithm is developed. In order to verify the effectiveness of the model and algorithm, an example of yellow peach in Yanling, Hunan, China is constructed. And a comparison algorithm, simulated annealing algorithm, is presented. The results show that the effectiveness and efficiency of the hybrid algorithm based on genetic algorithm is better than that of simulated annealing algorithm. Digitizing ethnic villages through VR technology is helpful for putting limited resources into the most urgent protection projects at this stage. In this paper, Basha village in western Hunan of China is selected as the carrier, and VR technology is used to simulate its virtual village scene. In this paper, ArcGIS is used to show the distribution of villages, through SketchUp software, 3D modeling of the buildings in the village is carried out, which is imported into Lumion platform and optimized, and finally the VR scene of Basha village is established. Through professional analysis tools, accurate reduction scale, and rational analysis and decision-making, it can not only open up a new situation for the protection of national history and culture, but also better promote the construction and renewal of new countryside. Accurately determining the timing and mechanism of metallogenesis of ore deposits is essential for developing a robust genetic model for their exploration. In this paper, we analyze the formation conditions of cassiterite in five major deposits of southern Hunan Province, one of the most important tungsten-tin (W-Sn) provinces in South China, using a combination of cathodoluminescence imaging, in situ U-Pb geochronology, and trace-element concentration data. In situ cassiterite U-Pb geochronology constrains the main period of Sn mineralization to between 155.4 and 142.0 Ma, demonstrating a temporal and genetic relationship to silicic intrusive magmatism in the same area. Three stages of magmatic activity and metallogenic evolution are recognized: (1) Early Paleozoic and Triassic: the initial enrichment stage of tungsten and tin; (2) Jurassic: the metasomatic mineralization stage; and (3) Cretaceous: the magmatic-hydrothermal superposition stage. The cassiterite in these deposits takes four forms, i.e., quartz vein-type, greisen-skarn-type, greisen-type, and granite-type, representing a progression characterized by the increasing content and decreasing range of variation of high field strength elements (HFSEs), and reflecting a general increase in the degree of evolution of the associated granites. Rare earth element (REE) concentrations suggest that precipitation of cassiterite was insensitive to the redox state of the fluid and that precipitation of cassiterite in the southern Hunan Sn deposits did not require a high-fO2 environment. Rapeseed is an essential oil crop in China. Hubei, Hunan and Jiangxi provinces in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River are the main planting areas, which account for more than 42% of the total planted area of rapeseed in China. The area has more than 3467 ha of winter fallow field, with massive potential for utilization. The total mechanization rate of rapeseed tillage, seeding and harvesting in the 3 provinces is higher than national average. Still, the uneven development, insufficient utilization of idle fields in winter, low levels of mechanization and intelligence, are technical bottlenecks for improving whole mechanization. This paper analyzes the basic situation and existing problems of the rapeseed industry in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, combing tillage, seeding, harvesting key aspects of mechanization and intelligent technology, and gives the technical routes of the whole process of rapeseed production that could be promoted. Meanwhile, a comparative analysis of the technical characteristics and difficulties in promoting the application of the "tillage, seeding and harvesting" aspects of rapeseed production was carried out. Development trend of rapeseed production technology mode is semi-mechanized, mechanized to intelligent in the winter fallow fields. The technical development paths of each link are discribed as "anti-blocking, anti-sticky, anti-tangle, and high-speed, efficient, low consumption" mechanized tillage. Integrated tillage and seeding technology to complete multiple working procedures simultaneously. High efficiency, low consumption and low loss of rapeseed mechanized harvesting technology should be combined with harvesting and two-stage harvesting synergistic development. The mechanization technology of feeding, vegetable and fertilizer and the critical technology of intelligent rapeseed production should also be developed and applied simultaneously. The soft interlayer and rock structure play a significant role in controlling the deformation of the bedding slope, and it is necessary to consider the phenomenon of the sudden change of local response in these key parts under rainfall conditions, and then to clarify the mechanism of rainfall infiltration and damage mechanism of such slopes. In this paper, a large red-layered flat-dipping bedding landslide was selected as the research object, and numerical calculations based on the Van Genuchten model for saturated–unsaturated flow were performed in order to investigate the hydrological response and distribution patterns of water within the slope during rainfall. Moreover, stability analysis was performed based on the seepage field results and secondary development of FLAC3D, and the landslide evolution process was simulated and reproduced using the constitutive model of double-variables and the strength reduction method (SRM). The results showed that the effects of heavy rainfall on the water distribution and stability of the highway slope are significant, while the effects on the natural slope are not significant. There are three phases of the slope destabilization: flexure and uplift state, deformation exacerbation state and shear failure state. The slope destabilization mechanism is a typical "sliding-bending-shearing" type. To test the relationships of stochastic dominance, this paper firstly proposes two new consistent K-S-type statistics based on a quantile rule. Then, we consider their asymptotic properties. We introduce the bootstrap method to calculate the p-values of our proposed tests and use the Monte Carlo method to compare the power of our proposed test with the DD test and the BD test. The simulations showed that our test performed better than these two tests. Finally, we applied our proposed tests to compare the visibility of four provinces in China and compared the effects with the DD test and BD test. The empirical results showed that the conclusions of our proposed method are more-consistent with the dominance relationships of the four provinces. For a given significance level, the results of our proposed test demonstrate that the visibility of Jiangxi province is the best. Previous research on attitudes toward obesity has mainly focused on the effects of people's negative attitudes about obesity on others. However, it remains unclear whether people's explicit attitudes toward obesity may influence their own life satisfaction. This cross-sectional study investigated whether and how individuals' explicit negative attitudes toward obesity influence their own life satisfaction among Chinese adolescents. A total of 310 high school students from Hunan province, China, were invited to voluntarily complete a paper-and-pencil questionnaire, including the Attitudes Toward Obese Persons scale, the Fatness subscale of the Negative Physical Self Scale, and the Satisfaction With Life Scale. We also collected participants' self-reported body height and weight. The results revealed that adolescents with more negative explicit attitudes about obesity reported lower levels of life satisfaction, and that this relationship was mediated by their greater weight dissatisfaction. Additionally, weight status moderated the association between explicit attitudes toward obesity and one's life satisfaction, whereby more negative explicit attitudes toward obesity predicted lower life satisfaction in adolescents with a body mass index one standard deviation higher than the mean (21.00 + 3.35), but not for adolescents with a body mass index one standard deviation lower than the mean (21.00-3.35). China has an exceptional diversity in Begonia, holding the second largest number of described species in this genus at the national level. Many new taxa need to be explored and described. This paper reports two new species, Begonia ruchengensis (B. sect. Reichenheimia) and B. auritalata (B. sect. Platycentrum), from Hunan province and Guizhou province, respectively. Besides the detailed morphology description, color illustrations, and line drawings, the diagnoses of these two species distinguished from their allied taxa are provided. Heavy metal-contaminated cultivated land treatment (HMCLT) plays an essential role in the realization of sustainable utilization of cultivated land resources and sustainable agricultural development. Evaluating this policy's impact on agricultural development resilience (ADR) has great practical significance. This paper reveals the impact HMCLT has on ADR from the perspectives of time and space, utilizing data from Hunan province between 2007 and 2019. The synthetic control method (SCM) and spatial Durbin model (SDM) are employed for investigating the temporal and spatial effects HMCLT has on ADR. The results demonstrate that the HMCLT policy has effectively improved the pilot cities' ADR and can enhance ADR in adjacent areas from a spatial perspective. In addition to HMCLT policy, financial support for agriculture, farmers' per capita disposable income, and rural population density are key factors affecting ADR. However, they all have a crowding-out effect on the ADR in neighboring areas. Due to these circumstances, while the governments make efforts in promoting the policy design and improvement of HMCLT, increasing the disposable income of farmers, narrowing regional differences in government financial support and human capital, and promoting regional interactions are essential to enhance ADR. In order to analyze the impact of policy effect on carbon efficiency in the Yangtze River Economic Belt, an experimental group, including 11 regions possessing the features of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, was constructed using the synthetic control method for project evaluation with the single-factor carbon efficiency value as the core study variable in this paper. Several regions were selected from the control group as synthetic objects through a data-driven approach to construct synthetic regions that meet basic requirements before the implementation of the policy by weight ratio and evaluate the policy's impact on the implementation of carbon efficiency in the Yangtze River Economic Belt. The study shows that the single-factor carbon efficiency is relatively robust. But since 2013, the tail of the Yangtze River Economic Belt has seen an improvement. Sichuan, Hunan, Chongqing and Hubei have exceeded other provinces and cities in the growth of carbon efficiency and Shanghai has also witnessed a significant increase. Upon the inception of the synthetic Yangtze River Economic Belt, there's a discernible divergence between the curves of the real and the synthetic Yangtze River Economic Belt. Syndromic deafness caused by PTPN11 gene mutation has gradually come into the public's view. In the past, many people did not understand its application mechanism and role and only focused on non-syndromic deafness, so the research on syndromic deafness is not in-depth and there is a large degree of lack of research in this area. In order to let the public know more about the diagnosis and gene function of deafness caused by PTPN11 gene mutation syndrome, this paper used deep learning technology to study the diagnosis and gene function of deafness caused by syndrome with the concept of intelligent medical treatment, and finally drew a feasible conclusion. This paper provided a theoretical and practical basis for the diagnosis of deafness caused by PTPN11 gene mutation syndrome and the study of gene function. This paper made a retrospective analysis of the clinical data of 85 deaf children who visited Hunan Children's Hospital, P.R. China from January 2020 to December 2021. The conclusion were as follows: Children aged 1-6 years old had multiple syndrome deafness, while children under 1 year old and children aged 6-12 years old had relatively low probability of complex deafness; girls were not easy to have comprehensive deafness, but there was no specific basis to prove that the occurrence of comprehensive deafness was necessarily related to gender; the hearing loss of patients with Noonan Syndrome was mainly characterized by moderate and severe damage and abnormal inner ear and auditory nerve; most of the mutation genes in children were located in Exon1 and Exon3, with a total probability of 57.65%. In the course of the experiment, it was found that deep learning was effective in the diagnosis of deafness with PTPN11 gene mutation syndrome. This technology could be applied to medical diagnosis to facilitate the diagnosis and treatment of more patients with deafness with syndrome. Intelligent medical treatment was also becoming a hot topic nowadays. By using this concept to analyze and study the pathological characteristics of deafness caused by PTPN11 gene mutation syndrome, it not only promoted patients to find diseases in time, but also helped doctors to diagnose and treat such diseases, which was of great significance to patients and doctors. This research focuses on the governance of rural living environments in China from the perspective of "System-Life". The objective of improving rural living environments is to construct a beautiful countryside, which is an important part of China's rural revitalization strategy. Through a literature review, a field study, and quantitative analysis, this paper explores the tensions and interactions between local governments and social demand by investigating four elements of the village improvement program: the village's appearance, sewage treatment, domestic garbage disposal, and the sanitation of toilets. We also examine the interactions between the main participants involved in the governance of rural living environments, including the primary-level governments, village committees, and the villagers themselves. It was found that there is a path toward constructing a benign interaction between "system" and "life". In terms of "system", the primary-level governments play a decisive role in the implementation of policies, offering a creative interpretation and flexible implementation of a policy. From the perspective of "life", the village committee is the bridge between the primary-level governments and villagers. The villagers have their own understanding of policy and the logic of life. This probe leads us to suggest that primary-level governments need to respect the perceptions and priorities of villagers in order to improve the performance of this well-intentioned program. The prevailing research on forecasting surface deformations within mining territories predominantly hinges on parameter-centric numerical models, which manifest constraints concerning applicability and parameter reliability. Although Multi-Temporal InSAR (MT-InSAR) technology furnishes an abundance of data, the underlying information within these data has yet to be fully unearthed. Consequently, this paper advocates a novel methodology for prognosticating mining area surface deformation by integrating ensemble learning with MT-InSAR technology. Initially predicated upon the MT-InSAR monitoring outcomes, the target variables for the ensemble learning dataset were procured by melding distance-based features with spatial autocorrelation theory. In the ensuing phase, spatial stratified sampling alongside mutual information methodologies were deployed to select the features of the dataset. Utilizing the MT-InSAR monitoring data from the Zixing coal mine in Hunan, China, the relationship between fault slippage and coal extraction in the study area was rigorously analyzed using Granger causality tests and Johansen cointegration assays, thereby acquiring the dataset requisite for training the Bagging model. Subsequently, leveraging the Bagging technique, ensemble models were constructed employing Decision Trees, Support Vector Regression, and Multi-layer Perceptron as foundational estimators. Furthermore, the Tree-structured Parzen Estimator (TPE) optimization algorithm was applied to the Bagging model, resulting in an optimal model for predicting fault slip in mining areas. In comparison with the baseline model, the performance increased by 25.88%, confirming the effectiveness of the data preprocessing method outlined in this study. This result also demonstrates the innovation and feasibility of combining ensemble learning with MT-InSAR technology for predicting mining area surface deformation. This investigation is the first to integrate TPE-optimized ensemble models with MT-InSAR technology, offering a new perspective for predicting surface deformation in mining territories and providing valuable insights for further uncovering the hidden information in MT-InSAR monitoring data. Ground collapse is a common geological disaster in karst area, which would bring great harm to people's life and property. The zoning evaluation on karst collapse susceptibility is beneficial to the classification and treatment of the disaster in order to ensure safety and economy. Karst ground collapse is characterized by suddenness, concealment, multi-factor, randomness and fuzziness; therefore, it is difficult to be fully quantified. The normal cloud model could effectively reflect the fuzziness and randomness of objective things, and integrate them to form the mapping between qualitative and quantitative analyses. In this paper, based on the normal cloud model, the study on susceptibility of karst collapse in Yonghe town, Liuyang City has been conducted in order to provide a basis for the classification and treatment of ground collapse in this area, and also provide a reference for the susceptibility evaluation of karst collapse in other areas. The study area is located to the northeast of Liuyang City, 24 km away from it, and its administrative division is located in Yonghe town, Liuyang City, Hunan Province. Ground collapses in this area are all developed in the distribution area of soluble rock layer. The most developed layer is the second member of the Lower Permian Qixia Formation (P1q2) with thick-layered carbonate rocks. Secondarily, ground collapses are distributed in the middle and upper Carboniferous Hutian Group (C2+3ht). The study area covers an area of 14 km2, and 38 karst collapses have occurred in this area so far. Among these collapses, 22 have been surveyed and filled. Sixteen collapses, four of which have been filled, have been investigated in detail. The collapse sites are mainly distributed in the region of soluble rock where faults are developed and surface water and groundwater are closely connected. Geographically, the collapse sites are mainly distributed in Yueshan Formation-Oujia Formation-Dahe Formation, Yongfu village, Yonghe town, Juxiang community-the old street of Yonghe-Huayuan village, Yanxi town, Nanshan Formation-Lizhen Primary School (old)-Xinwan Formation-Xinping Formation. Six evaluation indexes of karst collapse susceptibility were selected in this study, including karst development degree (dissolution rate of borehole), distance from the fault in the area, thickness of overlying soil layer, characteristics of karst water, distance from the pumping funnel center and current situation of ground collapse (ground collapse density). Firstly, according to the detailed exploration results of existing subsidence pits, the weights of six evaluation indicators of 16 existing subsidence pits were calculated and assigned based on entropy weight method. The calculation results indicate that the weight of development density of existing ground collapses is the largest, and that of the fluctuation amplitude of groundwater is the smallest. Secondly, the scoring standard for the risk level of normal cloud model was determined, and the susceptibility of karst collapse in each unit area in the study area was evaluated combined with the weight of each evaluation index. The evaluation results show that all the karst collapses that occurred are distributed in the area highly subject to karst collapse, indicating that the zoning in the evaluation of this study is reasonable. When the normal cloud model is used to evaluate the susceptibility of karst collapse, the size of grid cells could be controlled by the cloud similarity of comprehensive risk evaluation of karst collapse. For areas with high similarity and small cloud droplet dispersion, the unit area of each evaluation could be appropriately increased in order to reduce the evaluation workload. In addition, the high risk area calculated by analytic hierarchy process is 10.8% larger than that by normal cloud method, but three existing collapse pits distributed in the area at medium-level risk of karst collapse, indicating that normal cloud model takes more advantages than analytic hierarchy process in dealing with fuzzy and random problems such as the risk evaluation of karst collapse. Exploring the synergy types and optimization paths between Poverty Alleviation Effectiveness and Rural Revitalization is necessary for achieving the two centenary goals. Taking poverty alleviation counties in Hunan Province, China as an example, our study proposed an indicator to measure the synergistic development between Poverty Alleviation Effectiveness and Rural Revitalization using the multi-index integrated evaluation method. Then, the coupling types were classified based on both the proposed indicator and regional characteristics. Besides, the corresponding optimization path for each coupling type was proposed to promote the synergistic development of Poverty Alleviation and Rural Revitalization. Results are as follows: 1) Lower synergy focused on the southwestern Hunan, while low synergy is widely distributed (such as the west, southwest, northwest, and midland). Moderate synergy is in the midland, such as Huaihua and Chenzhou cities. High synergy is distributed in Yongzhou, Huaihua, Xiangxi cities, etc. Besides, only Hecheng City belongs to the higher synergy. 2) This paper proposes corresponding development paths for different development characteristics and main problems from multiple perspectives of the protection system, industrial planning, and rural market. Continuously consolidate and enhance the effectiveness of Poverty Alleviation and Rural Revitalization to achieve coupled and synergistic development of the two systems. A variety of measurement methods were used comprehensively in this paper to conduct empirical research on the CE, spatial pattern characteristics and influencing causes of the YREB. Both the total factor CE and the single factor CE were discovered relatively stable. Starting around 2013, the development of the tail cities of the YREB has gradually improved. In addition to Sichuan, Hunan, Chongqing, Hubei and other places where the increase in CE had exceeded that of other cities, the development of CE in Shanghai has also increased significantly. The CE of the YREB had increased with a significant positive spatial autocorrelation and a significant spatial aggregation effect between 2006 and 2017. The spatial spillover effect of CE in the YREB is mainly transmit through factors such as economic growth, energy structure, industrial structure, government intervention, population density, foreign direct investment and the level of marketization, and the spatial interaction between each factor and CE cannot be ignored. Natural electric field frequency selection method was proposed by Chinese scholars in the 1980s on the basis of imitating the field observation method of the magnetotelluric method (MT). It can only measure the magnetotelluric field components of one or several frequencies on the surface to determine the existence of underground geological bodies. This method has played an important role in shallow groundwater exploration. This paper mainly discusses the application of frequency selection method in the exploration of underground hot water in the Maoyanhe Scenic spot, Zhangjiajie City, Hunan Province, in order to illustrate the effectiveness of the frequency selection method in water exploration. According to the situation of the construction site, nearly 20 geophysical prospecting survey lines of varying lengths were laid flexibly within the red line of the Maoyan River Scenic Spot. Firstly, three-frequency (170 Hz, 67 Hz and 25 Hz) measurements were carried out on each survey line to preliminarily determine the possible horizontal location of underground hot water. Secondly, in the vicinity of the low potential anomaly of the three-frequency curve, the fine measurement by using multi-frequency bipolar profile method was further carried out. The specific distribution of underground hot water was determined based on the principle of frequency domain sounding and the static effect characteristics of the electromagnetic method so as to provide a scientific basis for the drilling layout. Finally, the reliability of the frequency selection method is verified by two verification boreholes. The rapid development of urbanization has led to increasing uncertainties related to urban safety risks, which has brought certain challenges to the sustainable development of cities. The concept of urban resilience has found a new way to improve the ability of a city to absorb and resolve risks. However, the existing literature on the evaluation of urban resilience is mostly developed from a static perspective, lacking a systematic and dynamic understanding of the level of urban resilience. Therefore, this paper takes Hunan Province as the research object, determines the resilience evaluation indicators, collects the data of each indicator by using the observation method and the literature method, then chooses the comprehensive index method and other methods to measure the urban resilience level of Hunan Province in the years of 2010–2021, and observes the dynamic changes in the resilience level. And, we use the GeoDetector model to detect the dominant factors affecting the urban resilience level and the interaction between these factors. The results of this study show that: (1) The level of urban resilience in Hunan Province shows a steady upward trend from 2010 to 2021, but cities with low resilience levels hold a dominant position. Among all subsystems, the level of urban economic resilience is the highest. (2) From 2010 to 2021, the level of urban resilience in Hunan Province indicates a stepwise spatial structure in the spatial pattern, gradually decreasing from east to west. (3) The urban resilience of Hunan Province from 2010 to 2021 has a significant spatial agglomeration effect, mainly manifested as "L-H type" agglomeration and "L-L type" agglomeration. (4) The spatio-temporal differentiation of urban resilience is mainly caused by economic and social factors, while ecological, institutional, and infrastructure factors have a relatively small influence on the level of urban resilience. The interaction of impact factors will have a more significant influence on urban resilience. University graduates can inject strong impetus into the development of cities. However, China's "Strengthening the Provincial Capital" strategy attracts many college graduates, resulting in many limitations in attracting college students to employment in non-provincial capital cities. This paper systematically studies college students' work and entrepreneurial intention factors. We conduct a social survey of employment and entrepreneurial intentions among university graduates in Xiangtan City, Hunan Province, and obtain 12,897 questionnaires. Then, we construct an index analysis system (IAS) and analyze the 12897 questionnaires systematically based on IAS. The results show that urban characteristics and personal orientation most directly affect college graduates' employment and entrepreneurial willingness. Based on the statistical conclusions, we put forward corresponding policy recommendations. Colleges should build a "government-enterprise-school" cooperation mechanism, implement strategically focused attraction policies following local conditions and local conditions, and promote the employment of college students to promote employment and entrepreneurship in non-provincial capitals. Purpose: Embroidery as a textile embellishment technique plays an important role in people's daily life. Esthetic embroidery artworks possess cultural values. With the development of robotics and artificial intelligence (AI), these technologies have been studied and applied in the embroidery process. This study aims to survey how these technologies facilitate embroidery from different aspects. Design/methodology/approach: This paper surveys how the technologies of robotics and AI are applied in the embroidery field. The applications are mainly reviewed from three aspects: computerized robotic embroidery systems has been widely used for the mass production of embroidered textiles, the advanced technological systems and techniques have greatly facilitated the development of smart textiles and the artificial intelligence plays an important role in the inheritance, innovation and protection of traditional handicraft artwork of embroidery. Findings: The programmable robotic embroidery machines have greatly improved the production efficiency of embroidered textiles and promoted the development of electronic textiles. The AI, mainly the deep learning technology, brings significant benefits to esthetic embroidery creation. Technology-based embroidery has become a hot research topic in the field of textiles. The exploration of approaches of efficiency improvement for the ecotourism resource allocation is conducive to the sustainable use of ecotourism resources and the high-quality development of the tourism industry. The unbalanced and inadequate utilization of ecological tourism resources in Hunan Province has seriously affected the resource allocation efficiency and sustainable utilization. In light of this, data in 2005‒2017 were adopted in this paper as the sample, and the input–output theory in economics was used as the basis to measure the ecological resource allocation efficiencies of Hunan Province's four major tourism circles, as well as the tourism industries across 14 cities and prefectures within the extended HK model. In light of this, this study adopted as the sample the data of Hunan Province's four major tourism circles, as well as the tourism industries across 14 cities and prefectures between 2005 and 2017. The ecological resource allocation efficiencies of these areas were then computed based on the economic input–output theory using the extended HK model. The results show that the degree of ecotourism resource mismatch varies from region to region in Hunan Province. In terms of potential TFP benefits, it can be divided into three levels: "high mismatch area," "moderate mismatch area," and "low mismatch area." Among the four major regions, Daxiangxi region fell within the high mismatch region, Huandongting Lake and Daxiangnan regions within the moderate mismatch regions, whereas the Changzhutan region within the low mismatch region. Moreover, out of the 14 cities and prefectures, Yongzhou, Shaoyang, Xiangxizhou, Yiyang, and Loudi were high mismatch areas, whereas Zhuzhou, Huaihua, Chenzhou, Xiangtan, and Yueyang were moderately mismatched regions, and Hengyang, Zhangjiajie, Changde, and Changsha were low mismatch areas. From the above distribution, it could be observed that the higher the degree of resource misallocation was, the lower the allocation efficiency would be. Straw burning is one of the important causes of environmental pollution in rural China. As an important green production technology, straw returning is beneficial to the improvement of rural environment and the sustainable development of agriculture. Based on the improved planned behavior theory, taking the survey data of 788 farmers in Shandong, Henan, Hubei, and Hunan provinces as samples, this paper uses a multi-group structural equation model to explore the driving mechanism of subjective cognition on the adoption behavior of farmers’ straw returning technology. The results show that behavioral attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control, which represent subjective cognition, all have significant driving effects on farmers’ intention to adopt straw returning technology. Behavioral intention plays a mediating role in the process of subjective cognition driving farmers’ adoption behavior of straw returning technology. Government support has a moderating role in the path from farmers’ behavioral intention to behavioral response. The subjective cognition of different types of farmers has a significant driving effect on the adoption intention of straw returning technology, but the driving strength weakens with the increase of the degree of farmers’ concurrent occupation. Protecting and improving the quality of cultivated land is important to agricultural modernization. Based on data from a survey of 706 rice-growing households in Hunan, Jiangxi and Jiangsu, this paper uses the Probit model, CMP method and Biprobit model to systematically analyze the impact of agricultural socialized services on farmers' cultivated land quality protection behaviors. This study finds that agricultural socialized services have a significantly positive impact on the adoption of soil testing formulas and straw returning technology among farmers, which can improve both the probability and the degree of cultivated land quality protection. The heterogeneity test results suggest that agricultural socialized services provide a higher incentive for the older generation of farmers to adopt arable land quality protection. In addition, we found that agricultural socialized services are more conducive to the protection of contracted land than transferred land. Therefore, we recommend that policies on agricultural socialized services be further implemented, the supply of agricultural socialized services be optimized, and the role of service organizations in publicizing and promoting cultivated land protection techniques be brought into play. We also posit that the simultaneous encouragement of farmers in using agricultural socialized services would protect the quality of cultivated land. The evaluation of in-service pavements' performance is a complex system that encompasses a variety of uncertain factors. These uncertainties include random, fuzzy, gray, and unascertained information, and their interrelationships are intricate, making comprehensive quantification unachievable. Nonetheless, current highway management organizations rely on a comprehensive indicator, namely, the Pavement Quality Index (PQI), to assess the level of pavement performance. This paper introduces a novel approach that employs blind number theory to evaluate the reliability of pavement performance test data. The proposed method aims to enhance the representativeness of PQI and is demonstrated using detection data from highway asphalt pavements in Hunan Province. The method takes into account the probability distribution characteristics of evaluation metrics and incorporates the blind number representation format of PQI. A confidence model for pavement performance evaluation is established to assess the reliability of pavement detection results. The method also integrates expert empowerment and entropy weight to consider both the subjectivity of evaluation and the objectivity of measured data. The method presented in this study has demonstrated superior performance compared to traditional evaluation index systems. This is attributed to the effective utilization of blind information to accurately characterize the discreteness of pavement performance indexes. Purpose: Despite mounting evidence that job insecurity triggers counterproductive work behavior (CWB), the underlying mechanism within the association in hybrid employment remains unknown. This study aims to investigate turnover intention as a mediator in the association between job insecurity and CWB, as well as the differences between permanent and contract workers concerning the effect of job insecurity on employees' CWB. Design/methodology/approach: Dyadic data were collected from 213 workers (103 contract and 110 permanent workers) and their supervisors, who were employed in one of the three branches of a Chinese state-owned enterprise, respectively, located in Hunan, Shenyang and Xinjiang. Findings: This study found that job insecurity was positively related to CWB, in which turnover intention acted as a partial mediator. Employment status acted as a moderator between job insecurity and CWB. Originality/value: First, this study extends the theoretical knowledge concerning how job insecurity activates CWB by identifying turnover intention as a mediating mechanism. To the best of the authors' knowledge, this is the first study to explore the mediating role of turnover intention in terms of job insecurity and CWB. Second, this research expands the understanding of the relation between job insecurity and CWB by investigating this link in the case of contract workers versus permanent workers.
