Purpose: The increasing number of papers on zakah shows that it has become an important research topic. However, few studies attempt to analyze the evolution of zakah studies which might be helpful as guidance for policymakers in creating zakah management systems and policies, for zakah management organizations administering zakah funds, for future research on related subjects and for academic actors to construct a zakah study curriculum. This study aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis of the evolution of zakah theme publications from 1964 to 2021. Design/methodology/approach: This study uses bibliometric analysis to analyze the evolution of zakah research. This study compared all Scopus-indexed journal papers to Zakah publications regarding research flow, themes, abstracts and titles. The relationships between researchers, the titles of the papers and keywords associated with "zakah" are analyzed in these publications published between 1964 and 2021. A total of 632 scientific contributions were discovered using RStudio and VOSviewer to analyze the bibliometric metadata. Findings: Based on the results, the theme of zakah has evolved from 1964 to 2021. The author emphasizes the zakah publication theme. Each affiliation and country have its conditions, management method, data sources and characteristics. The theme "zakah institutions and zakah collecting" grew in popularity between 2010 and 2021 and is projected to grow in the following years. Malaysia, Indonesia and Pakistan can be used as zakah development research models. In spans of zakah publications, the author with the most global citations is Wahab N.A., and the author with the most productive is Saad Raj. Research limitations/implications: Zakah publications are analyzed using the Scopus database. This study applied only Scopus index data, excluding non-Scopus, and most studies conducted in non-English languages. This conclusion indicates the issue's importance among academic researchers and practitioners, notably on the subject of zakah. Thus, a comprehensive picture of zakah theme publications assists researchers and zakah fund institutions in making assessments, focusing on the unstudied fraction of the zakah theme. Practical implications: This research is planned to serve as a reference for future research, particularly examining the theme's novelty. It is intended to have implications for policymakers, particularly zakah institutions, regarding funding the several zakah research issues and concentrations. Social implications: This research can guide future researchers and is expected to include parameters such as author, year and data source while analyzing zakah publications to generate new findings. Originality/value: This is probably one of few comprehensive studies that examined the evolution of the zakah theme using the Scopus-indexed database. The relevance of this paper is to provide suggestions and projections for future zakah research. Scholars should examine zakah publications by author, year and data source to gain fresh insights. This paper aims to investigate publications' metadata, in terms of sources, authors, countries, affiliations, and keywords, relating fintech with the COVID-19 pandemic using a bibliometric approach. We conducted a bibliometric analysis by employing VOSviewer application as the tool. The published documents were extracted from the Dimensions.ai website by filtering keywords "Fintech" and "COVID-19" in their titles or abstracts. 266 documents were retrieved as the dataset from January 2020 to May 2022 with none in previous years. The majority of publications were in the form of articles (n=166 or 62.4%). The most prolific university in this study was Amity University (n=6), while the most prolific country was Indonesia (n=34). The most productive country, Indonesia, occupied the last position of nine most cited states within the dataset. SSRN Electronic Journal was the most cited source with 349 times. We found that research in Indonesia was more concerned to the relationship of COVID-19 with SMEs and people's financial condition, while research in India and China was more concerned to the development of technology implemented within financial services. This study provides broader picture of COVID-19-related fintech research during the pandemic period which may be beneficial for academics and researchers to carry out further studies in this field. The study of halal cosmetics has been growing exponentially in the last few years. Numerous studies pertaining to halal cosmetics have been conducted. The main objective of this study is to visualize trends in halal cosmetics research from 2006 to 2020. This encompasses the assessment of halal cosmetics research, collaboration networks, and publication patterns across various fields. We aim to provide a systematic overview and historic context, as well as distinguish future trends in research on consumers’ perception of halal cosmetics. This study conducted a bibliometric analysis of research related to halal cosmetics. Data from 2006 to 2020 related to halal cosmetics were extracted from the Scopus database, providing a sample of 104 documents. The documents were then examined using the bibliographic network visualization instrument VOSviewer and R for text mining and the findings were presented in the form of a conceptual structure map and word clouds. We identified the most productive authors, journals, institutions, and countries. The results showed that Malaysia and Indonesia are the overall leaders in publications. These findings will provide scholars a comprehension of the halal cosmetics field and act as a guide for future research. This paper is a bibliometric analysis aimed at understanding and analyzing the evolution of Indonesian governance publications. SINTA and Google Scholar were used to find articles from academic journals, which were then organized in Publish or Perish and Mendeley. The year of publication, the institution or educational institution that published, the name of the publication, the name of the author of the article, and citations from the authors who published the articles on governance in Indonesia were all used to analyze 772 articles from academic journals. VOSviewer was used to visualize the collected articles. We thereby produced co-occurrence visualizations that show how the publications are related to one another. For all articles on Indonesian governance published since 2001, nine clusters of interrelationships were discovered. According to our findings, Indonesian governance research is mostly focused on efforts to achieve good governance through public services. The topic of collaboration with stakeholders outside the government, on the other hand, is still missing. As a result, we recommend that this subject be investigated further. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

One of the major challenges in crafting research is highlighting the novelty and the contribution of that research. Therefore, understanding what has been studied and the progress made in a particular topic is essential before embarking on a research journey. This study was a bibliometric analysis that aimed to collect and analyze bibliographic data from articles, journals and other publications on the topic of governance in Indonesia. Three applications were used: Public or Perish, VOS viewer and Mendeley. 1000 articles published in academic journals from 2015 to 2020 were collected and reviewed. The findings suggested that topics such as transparency, service and quality have been over-researched. On the contrary, topics such as impact, procedure, organization and good government still offer wider opportunities to be researched.
