This study performs a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of biomedical (i.e., non-brain) technology such as eye-tracking (ET), electromyography (EMG), galvanic skin response (GSR), implicit association test (IAT), and electrocardiogram (ECG) tools in studying consumer' behavior. To achieve this aim, we adopted the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) protocol and bibliometric analysis (VOSviewer software) for extracting the relevant documents from the Web of Science (WOS) database between 2013 and June 2023. A total of 58 documents (fifty-one articles and seven review articles) were included in the analysis. The results showed an increasing trend in publications over the years--the top countries in terms of publication outcome were Spain (13 papers) and the USA (10 papers). The analysis also identified the most influential authors, such as Babiloni, F. and Cherubino, P. It was further analyzed for the most cited article, which is titled "Neurophysiological Tools to Investigate Consumer's Gender Differences during the Observation of TV Commercials", and keywords related to neuromarketing and non-brain tools. Additionally, Frontiers in Psychology was determined as the most-productive journal. This bibliometric analysis reveals insights into the current state of non-brain tools research. It also provides insights into future research directions in the consumer neuroscience field. This study aims to understand the development trends and research structure of articles on artificial intelligence (AI) and information processing in the past 10 years. In particular, this study analyzed 13,294 papers published from 2012 to 2021 in the Web of Science, used the bibliometric analysis method to visualize the data of the papers, and drew a scientific knowledge map. By exploring the development of mainstream journals, author and country rankings, keyword evolution, and research field rankings in the past 10 years, this study uncovered key trends affecting AI progress and information processing that provide insights and serve as an important reference for future AI research and information processing. The results revealed a gradual increase in publications over the past decade, with explosive growth after 2020. The most prolific researchers in this field were Xu, Z.S.; Pedrycz, W.; Herrera-Viedma, E.; the major contributing countries were China, the USA, and Spain. In the AI and information processing research, keywords including "Deep learning", "Machine learning", and "Feature extraction" are components that play a crucial role. Additionally, the most representative research areas were "Engineering", "Operations Research and Management Science", and "Automation Control Systems". Overall, this study used bibliometric analysis to provide an overview of the latest trends in artificial intelligence and information processing. Although AI and information processing have been applied to various research areas, many other sub-topics can be further applied. Background: Mild cognitive impairment (MCI) is commonly defined as a transitional subclinical state between normal aging and dementia. A growing body of research indicates that health behaviors may play a protective role against cognitive decline and could potentially slow down the progression from MCI to dementia. The aim of this study is to conduct a bibliometric analysis of literature focusing on health behaviors and MCI to summarize the factors and evidence regarding the influence of health behaviors on MCI. Methods: The study performed a bibliometric analysis by retrieving publications from the Science Citation Index and Social Sciences Citation Index subdatabases within the Web of Science Core Collection. Utilizing VOSviewer and CiteSpace software, a total of 2,843 eligible articles underwent co-citation, cokeywords, and clustering analyses. This methodology aimed to investigate the current status, trends, major research questions, and potential future directions within the research domain. Results: The bibliometric analysis indicates that research on healthy behaviors in individuals with MCI originated in 2002 and experienced rapid growth in 2014, reflecting the increasing global interest in this area. The United States emerged as the primary contributor, accounting for more than one-third of the total scientific output with 982 articles. Journals that published the most articles on MCI-related health behaviors included "Journal of Alzheimer's Disease," "Neurobiology of Aging," "Frontiers in Aging Neuroscience," and other geriatricsrelated journals. High-impact papers identified by VOSviewer predominantly cover concepts related to MCI, such as diagnostic criteria, assessment, and multifactorial interventions. Co-occurrence keyword analysis highlights five research hotspots in health behavior associated with MCI: exercise, diet, risk factors and preventive measures for dementia, cognitive decline-related biomarkers, and clinical trials. Conclusion: This study provides a comprehensive review of literature on health behavior in individuals with MCI, emphasizing influential documents and journals. Background: Autoimmune diseases have always been one of the difficult diseases of clinical concern. Because of the diversity and complexity of its causative factors, unclear occurrence and development process and difficult treatment, it has become a key disease for researchers to study. And the disease explored in this paper, anti-NMDA encephalitis, belongs to a common type of autoimmune encephalitis. However, the quality of articles and research hotspots in this field are not yet known. Therefore, in this field, we completed a bibliometric and visualization analysis from 2005 to 2023 in order to understand the research hotspots and directions of development in this field. Materials and methods: We searched the SCI-expanded databases using Web of Science's core databases on January 22, 2024 and used tools such as VOS viewer, Cite Space, and R software to visualize and analyze the authors, countries, journals, institutions, and keywords of the articles. Results: A total of 1,161 literatures were retrieved and analyzed in this study. China was the country with the most total publications, and USA and Spain were the most influential countries in the field of anti-NMDA encephalitis. University of Pennsylvania from USA was the institution with the highest number of publications. While Dalmau Josep is the most prolific, influential and contributing author who published one of the most cited articles in Lancet Neurology, which laid the foundation for anti-NMDA encephalitis research, the top three appearances of keyword analysis were: "antibodies", "diagnosis", and "autoimmune encephalitis." Conclusion: Bibliometric analysis shows that the number of studies on anti-NMDA encephalitis is generally increasing year by year, and it is a hot disease pursued by researchers. USA and Spain are leading in the field of anti-NMDA encephalitis, while China should continue to improve the quality of its own research. The suspected causes of anti-NMDA encephalitis other than ovarian teratoma and herpes simplex, the specific clinical manifestations that are not masked by psychiatric symptoms, the diagnostic modalities that are faster and more accurate than antibody tests, and the improvement of treatment modalities by evaluating prognosis of various types of patients are the hotspots for future research. The omnichannel, a new concept in retailing, has surpassed the genre of electronic business (e-commerce) and has significantly influenced consumer thoughts and decisions. This approach refers to a retailing approach that has transformed the way customers shop, seamlessly transitioning between online and offline platforms due to the increased usage of smartphones and tablets. Presently, retailers are focusing on delivering excellent service experiences. However, despite being a prominent topic in the retail sector, bibliometric and systematic reviews exploring omni-channels are scarce. To contribute to further research collaboration and expand knowledge in this subject area, a bibliometric study was conducted to examine omni-channel research trends, including publication outputs, notable journals, top-performing authors, leading countries, and author keywords. A total of 773 articles were acquired from Scopus databases from 2013 to March 2023. The findings revealed a continuous increase in the number of omni-channel publications each year, indicating its growing relevance in the retail industry. Among the 61 countries analysed, Chile had the highest number of active paper publications, followed by Sweden and Spain. The systematic analysis conducted using VOSviewer identified 2103 keywords. This research explores focal points in research, evaluates trends in evolution, visualizes collaboration networks, and identifies a prominent topic in the field of omni-channel research. Cluster analysis revealed prominent topics of interest within the omni-channel context, including the grocery, fashion, luxury, and tourism domains. The emerging generative artificial intelligence (AI) chatbots, such as Chat Generative Pre-Trained Transformer (ChatGPT), have recently taken different disciplines by surprise. Very few scholarly papers show the collaborative effort by researchers on the impact of generative AI in higher education (HE) and its implication on HE disciplines and activities. This paper uses citation network analysis by deep searching the different research articles using Scopus databases. A bibliographic analysis tool is used to reveal patterns of application of generative AI chatbots in HE, collaboration of generative AI research, and generative AI in HE among different countries of the world. Furthermore, it investigates the thematic topics that generative AI in HE researchers are studying. Research papers from Scopus databases were sampled. The sampling timeframe is from January 2022 to September 2023. This paper presents the preliminary findings of the work that was conducted for a doctoral thesis in computer science and information technology. The preliminary findings show that Spain, the United States of America (USA), and Australia are countries that collaborate more often on the development of generative AI chatbots. In the study, generative AI chatbots were most likely to cover plagiarism and essay inclusion, but very few covered research for postgraduate enterprises. This paper offers a thorough bibliometric review of the literature on municipal solid waste compost (MSWC), focusing on the past two decades. Using an extensive dataset of 827 documents, the research patterns are analyzed via the R-based Bibliometrix package, merging metadata from Web of Science and Scopus. The analysis reveals substantial global growth in MSWC research, with a particular surge in the last 20 years. Discipline-specific journals are the main publishers, while multidisciplinary environmental outlets gained more citations. The study identifies five major collaborative author clusters that dominate productivity and citation frequency. The thematic evolution over the past five decades shows a transition from waste disposal towards topics such as heavy metals, soil properties, and plant nutrition, with emerging themes like carbon sequestration, biochar, and microplastics signaling future research directions. Specifically, the field has experienced a 7.86% annual growth rate, with an average citation rate of 26.88 per article. The 827 publications emerged from 317 sources and 1910 authors, with an international co-authorship rate of 14.75%, reflecting the field's interdisciplinary character. Thirteen primary sources and twenty-two key authors were identified as major contributors. On the geographical front, Spain and Italy led with the most contributions and highest citation count, respectively. In terms of keywords, "heavy metals" and "sewage sludge" were the most recurrent, indicating the prevailing topics in MSWC research. To determine the institutions, journals of choice and topics of investigation of the most prolific and highly cited Spanish optometrist researchers. As a primary search strategy, the Scopus database (Elsevier) was queried with the terms (optometr* OR "contact lens*" OR refracti* OR *ocular) and the affiliation country filter "Spain". The list of authors returned by the primary search was used in a secondary manual search based on co-authors and institutions. Authors were included in the analysis if they had an h-index > 10, were of Spanish nationality, were affiliated to Spanish institutions, and possessed an optometry degree. Authors were ranked by h-index, number of publications and number of citations. Topics of research interest and target journals were determined by analyzing the 10 most highly cited papers of each author. A total of 32 authors with an h-index > 10 were identified, of whom 14 (43.7%) were female. Only one author had an h-index > 40, and 7 (21.9%) authors had an h-index over 20. The Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery was the first journal of choice (19.1% of highest cited papers), followed by Optometry and Vision Science (10.3%). The Universidad Complutense de Madrid hosted the largest percentage of authors (18.7%), followed by the Universitat de València (15.6%). Main topics of research interest were topography (6.5% of papers), cornea (6.2%) and contact lens (5.0%). Gamification-based learning is a recent trend that has received increasing attention in the last few years due to digital development. Gamification has emerged as a vital aspect of the educational setting, with gamified elements playing a crucial role in e-learning environments. The current study is motivated by the need to address a gap in the existing research on the utilization of gamification in education. This gap exists due to a lack of studies that monitor the developments and effects of gamification in the educational environment. It is important to conduct such studies to provide guidance for future research in the field of gamification. A bibliometric analysis and systematic literature review were conducted to understand and describe gamification and its potential for learning. The results of the bibliometric analysis revealed that the most frequently used keywords in the studies were gamification, game-based learning (GBL), motivation, and engagement. The majority of research published in this field was conducted in the United States, followed by Spain and Britain. The Journal of Computers in Human Behavior and the Journal of Computers and Education were the two journals that focused primarily on the field of GBL. The most famous authors in this field are Hamari, Juho, Patel, Mitesh S., Landers, and Richard N. The field is experiencing significant growth, with the number of studies increasing from 7 in 2012 to 917 in 2021. The systematic review has found that undergraduates are the most frequent participants in gambling activities. The game elements that are most utilized are points, leaderboards, and badges, while the learning outcomes most addressed are achievement, engagement, and motivation. The primary objective of this paper is to provide a comprehensive guide to scholars and research institutes, outlining the key areas of emphasis related to the subject of gamification. Bibliometric analysis is an effective method to gain a detailed overview of trends in the labor force, with a focus on active aging. This approach examines relevant scientific publications to identify trends, key authors, frequently used terms and, last but not least, important contributions to the field. The specific area of workforce and active aging focuses on the relationship between the process of population aging and its impact on the workforce. The focus here is on how older people can remain active and productive in the labor market, including by adapting skills and implementing policies and practices that facilitate employment and retention. In order to carry out this study, articles on workforce and active aging were identified using data available on the Web of Science. Although the results of the study show that, unlike other topics, a relatively small number of studies were identified in the Web of Science for workforce and active aging, research in this area is increasing, particularly in the USA and Spain. This approach provides a basis for the analysis and interpretation of workforce developments in the context of active aging. It enables a deeper understanding of workforce work with a focus on active aging and can serve as a basis for sound research and policy decisions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper aims to present a bibliometric analysis of the literature on an entrepreneurial intention that considers different topics to enhance starting a business. Using the Core collection of the Web of Science, 1,549 papers are found from 1900 to December 2020 to be analyzed. The analysis is focused on documents, authors, journals, countries, and keywords to detect areas and trends in this field of study. Likewise, bibliographic couplings, co-citation, and co-occurrences are analyzed. Findings show that the field has started to grow since 2010; the most influential authors and universities are in Spain and Taiwan, such as the case of Liñan, Liang, Ip, and Moriano. SUMMARY: Advances in olive oil research have blossomed in recent years, and articles on olive oil have been widely recorded. However, a comprehensive and systematic bibliometric analysis of olive oil research has not been completed. Through a systematic literature search, we consolidated 7003 papers from the Web of Science Core Collection database. This bibliometric analysis was carried out to examine the article growth, geographical distribution, and analysis of journals/research areas/authors/keywords. The results revealed the following: (1) Exponential growth was shown in the annual number of publications (R2 = 0.9791). The geographical distribution is biased to a few countries, especially Spain, Italy, and Greece in the Mediterranean region, placing a larger focus on olive oil research. (2) Quality analysis‐related research acted as a link between keyword groups, the disease prevention and treatment‐related research of olive oil received decreasing interest, while authentication and quality analysis‐related research of olive oil showed the opposite trend, by‐products‐related research of olive oil got waving interests over the whole period. (3) Improvement is needed in the degree of olive oil with international collaboration. This is the first time that hotspots and trends in olive oil research have been shown. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The present article reviews the Spanish history of the art therapy profession and research. In addition, a contemporary view of current art therapy research is described through a bibliometric analysis of 160 art therapy articles published in the Spanish Journal of Art Therapy. Papers on Art Therapy and art Education for Social Inclusion from 2011 to 2021. The following research indicators were analyzed: authorship, participants, population, artistic discipline, theoretical models of art therapy intervention, nature of the studies, and assessments. Outcomes revealed that Spanish art therapy researchers are mostly women who usually publish on their own. Additionally, many ages, populations and topics are treated. Visual art is the discipline most used in the analyzed research. Gestalt, community-based art programs, and the eclectic approach are the most selected theoretical models. Most of the studies are qualitative and theory building with no assessment. However, when assessment is included, the type most used is the tools made by the researcher. Implications, limitations, and further lines of research are discussed. • Art therapy research in Spain is a young discipline conducted in the last ten years. • The profile of Spanish researchers on art-therapy corresponds to dedicated females. • The use of art therapy in Spain has extended to vulnerable and minority groups. • There is a shift from psychoanalysis to other theoretical models for intervention. • Most of the studies published in Spain are qualitative or theory building. The relationship between green technology innovation and corporate financial performance has gained considerable traction in academics and businesses. However, there is limited overall bibliometric analysis on this topic. To meet the research need, this study, using Citespace (Citespace5.8r3 version, ChaomMei Chen, Philadelphia), performed the bibliometric analysis of the relationship between green technology innovation and corporate financial performance from 2007 to 2021, with 251 academic papers published in the Web of Science databases being analyzed, thus identifying the research hotspots and trends. The results showed that: (i) the number of publications has moved from slow to rapid growth and is expected to ramp up further; (ii) only a small collaboration network has been formed among the authors; (iii) institutions' work operates relatively independently. There is still more room for inter-institutional or cross-discipline cooperation against geographical regions. However, there is a strong network of cooperation among countries. China performs best in this research area, followed by Spain and the UK; (iv) several significant co-citation relationships are also formed in the literature network. The burst literature on green innovation, product innovation, and financial performance is considered a research hotspot; and (v) "green innovation", "corporate performance", "legitimacy", "environmental disclosure", and "corporate sustainability" have become trends in research. Concentrating solar power (CSP), also known as solar thermal electricity (STE), is increasing its deployment worldwide. One of the potential ways to decrease costs in CSP plants is the improvement of corrosion resistance between the heat transfer fluid (HTF) and storage materials, and the materials used for pipes, tanks, containers, and receivers. This paper assesses the literature on this topic (290 publications) through a bibliometric analysis, identifying the trends of the research, the topics of most interest to researchers, and literature gaps. Most documents are from Spain, Germany, and the United States of America. Results show that the most recent approaches for corrosion migration are selective coatings and the use of nanoparticles to reduce corrosiveness. The use of nitrates is changing to other salts such as chloride mixtures and potassium compounds. In addition, the techniques used to evaluate corrosion results are dominated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and electrochemical testing, but new dynamic techniques are starting to be used, representing the biggest gap that needs to be filled for the testing of components such as solar receivers. The growth interesting in discovering the consumers' behaviours, emotional and cognitive processes in marketing research have led to an increasing number of publications. This paper evaluates the global research trends in the neuromarketing/consumer neuroscience domain based on the most productive journals, countries, institutions, authors, the number of documents and citations. This paper was structured based on the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) framework in selecting all relevant documents for this bibliometric study. A total of 119 documents have been extracted and analysed from the Scopus database. The findings revealed that Spain is the leading country in this field of research with 21 publications, and the most productive institution was Universidad Complutense de Madrid, with seven documents. In addition, Ma, Q. is the most prolific author with four publications and 11 citations. Interestingly, although Frontiers in Psychology is the most productive journal with 11 publications, the Comunicar journal has the highest average citation per item. Keywords and citation analysis are highly significant to know the most impactful documents and words in neuromarketing. For example, EEG (18 occurrences and 43 total link strength) mean EEG occurrence 22 times, and total link strength for these occurrences are 43 links with neuromarketing theme. Chew L.H. et al., have published the most cited document with 27 citations. We believe that our study will provide a comprehensive overview of global trends in the neuromarketing domain. This study aims to identify the use of Augmented Reality technology and the trend of using AR in tourism with time limitation from 2013 until 2022. It also aims to determine the valuable contributions of documents, sources, authors, countries, and institutions worldwide in tourism. The qualitative method using bibliometric analysis is suitable for this study because it can provide an overview and classify. Data was collected from the Scopus database and then analyzed using VOSviewer software. The results show that (1) museum, (2) sustainable tourism, and (3) heritage tourism are the keywords most often used in research. The potential research of AR in tourism is directed at the development of underwater tourism, the application of virtual museums, ecotourism, culture heritage tourism, digital heritage and destination image. Sustainability (Switzerland), Current Issues in Tourism, and The International Journal of Human-Computer are the journals with the most publications. Tom Dieck M. C.M.C, Jung T, and Chung N are authors with a high degree of collaboration with other authors. United Kingdom, Spain, and Italy became the countries with the highest publications. Background: Castanea sativa Mill. is important for ecosystems and societies. Its rich historical and cultural significance, remarkable ecological contributions, and diverse applications have inspired scientific research. This comprehensive review and conceptual mapping of chestnut research consolidates existing knowledge, identifies emerging trends, and highlights untapped potential to inform future investigations. First, the Scopus database was searched to retrieve all data-driven articles in English related to C. sativa published in English from 1951 to 2023. Second, the R language, Scopus Analytics, and VOSviewer were used to analyze the year of publication, authors, countries, affiliations, keywords, and citations. Finally, network analysis was performed to evaluate the hotspots and developmental trends of C. sativa. A total of 1889 research articles were recovered. Results: The articles showed an exponential progression, with a regression coefficient of 0.9435 (R2) and an annual growth rate of 6.28%. Italy (19.87%), Spain (15.56%), Portugal (13.39%), Turkey (6.92%), and Switzerland (5.17%) were the most prolific countries. C. sativa (798), sweet chestnut (54), cryphonectria parasitica (44), honey (38), phenolic compounds (35), chestnut blight (33) and antioxidant activity (31) are the keywords that occur the most frequently. The main research groups in the thematic map are "forest management," "Cryphonectria parasitica," "wood," "Spain" and "ethnobotany." Research on C. sativa has all the basic, motor, niche, and emerging or declining themes. Forest management, drought, Gnomoniopsis smithogilvyi, C. sativa shells, amino acids, honey, phenolic compounds, hydrolyzable tannins, antioxidant capacity, antioxidants, and extractives are trending topics. Conclusions: This bibliometric analysis highlights the importance of C. sativa research, revealing its ecological contributions, cultural significance, and diverse applications. (1) Background: Using neuroscience to understand and influence consumer behavior often leads to ethical controversy. Thus, it is necessary to demystify the use of neuroscience for marketing purposes; the present paper, by accessing the worldwide academic performance in this domain, fulfills this objective. (2) Methods: All extant literature on neuromarketing indexed to the Scopus database—318 articles—was subjected to a bibliometric analysis through a mixed-method approach. (3) Results: The results show that Spain leads the ranks of the most productive countries, while Italian researchers clearly dominate in terms of collaboration. Regarding the most prominent topics, the connection between "Neuroscience" and "Advertising" is highlighted. The findings provide a better understanding of the state-of-the-art in neuromarketing studies, research gaps, and emerging research topics, and additionally provide a new methodological contribution by including SciVal topic prominence in the bibliometric analysis. (4) Conclusions: As practical implications, this study provides useful insights for neuromarketing researchers seeking funding opportunities, which are normally associated with topics within the top prominence percentile or emerging topics. In terms of originality, this study is the first to apply SciVal topic prominence to a bibliometric analysis of neuromarketing, and provides a new bibliometric indicator for neuromarketing research. Despite the growing focus in coastal conservation practice toward scientific evidence-based decision-making, there remains a need for enhancing knowledge management and its implication in coastal management planning. In this review manuscript, bibliometric analysis in conjunction with network analysis is used to describe qualitatively and quantitatively the progress, trends and hot spots of coastal science in Moroccan Atlantic coast. In total, 4891 publications from 1971 to May 2021 were collected. The performance of publication covering annual outputs, document types, language of publication, mainstream journals, the impact of the research by research area, coastal habitat type and study area were investigated. Thereafter, co-word, co-authorship, co-country analysis and cluster analysis were conducted using VOSviewer software. The findings underscore a clear disparity in the research evolution. 52% of the total publications were produced between 2011 and 2021. 80% of them were published as journal articles. Journal of Materials and Environmental Science was the most active journal. Behind Morocco, France and Spain researchers have made the main contributions to this research area. 75% of publications have been limited to the coastlines and lagoons. In contrast, habitats such dayas and oasis have received little attention. Hydrobiology and ecology have being gradually deepened. The analysis also revealed a significant research bias against the south–central coastline, the regions of Moroccan Atlantic that have a high research need. This analysis suggests that future scientific effort on Moroccan Atlantic coastal ecosystems should relieve existing biases by increasing multidisciplinary integrated system research and encouraging inter-regional transfer of research resources to areas of low research effort, with a special emphasis on the critical research ecosystems in the southern coastline. This study aims to analyze publication trends related to the themes of Butane and land fire policies indexed in the Scopus database from 1969 to 2024. Journal articles in the field of forest and land fire policy published between 1969 and 2024 are traced from the Scopus database using the keywords "Forest Fires" OR "Land Fires" AND "Policy". This study uses analysis of publication trends forest and land fire policy, most productive countries and most productive organizations, co-authorship, co- and citation. Research on forest and land fire policy is widely conducted around the world. This is because many problems must be solved by multistakeholders. Publications in 2022 became the most productive year with 215 publications. The United States and Spain are the two countries that are most productive in producing publications related to forest and land fire policies. The network of co-authorship based on documents is Stephens, SL being the most common. Co-Occurrence networks for Author Keywords include forest fires, deforestation, forest management, wildfire, remote sensing, wildfires, landsat, protected areas. Bibliometric methods can be used to analyze publication trends related to "forest and land fire policy". However, it needs the support of datasets and a complete computing system. The spiraling growth of the world's population and unregulated urbanization have resulted in many environmental problems, including poor quality of air, which is associated with a wide range of health issues. Machine learning approaches have been extensively employed to predict air quality, attracting the attention of the scientific community worldwide. Bibliometric studies provide a useful means by which to visualize and analyze published works, helping researchers to make novel scientific contributions by filling existing knowledge gaps in the research. To acquire an in-depth understanding of the topic, this paper presents a bibliometric analysis of all published articles on the use of machine learning networks to predict air quality found in the Web of Science (WoS) search engine from 1992 to 2021. S-curve analysis and social network analysis were used to identify the temporal distribution of articles, productivity by countries/continents, research institutions, and scientific metrics of journal productivity. This study indicated that maximum expansion of the literature witnessed during 2017–2021 (second phase) which represents an expansion or growth stage of machine learning and air quality prediction research. The number of published works increased significantly with 1432 articles accounting for 68.51% of all publications. As a result of the increased interest in machine learning-based prediction tools, the number of articles grew 2.17-fold compared to the 1992–2016 (first phase). In terms of international collaboration impact, Italy emerged as the most successful country (43.44), followed by Greece (31.22) and Spain (23.29). Author keywords analysis was employed to explore and evaluate the emerging research trends on the subject of air quality using machine learning models. Keywords that appear most frequently in this study are 'air pollution', 'air quality', 'machine learning', and 'forecasting'. Citation burst analysis, research productivity analysis, highly influential and highly cited works were also employed to examine various research themes and questions. In this study we also discussed how conventional methods were transformed into machine learning approaches. The following review aims at analyzing the contribution of Spanish researchers to membrane science and technology, with a historical compilation of the main milestones. We used a bibliometric analysis based on the Scopus database (1960–2020) dealing with 8707 documents covering the different disciplines and subject areas where membranes are involved. Furthermore, the information has been updated to the present moment of writing this manuscript in order to include the latest research lines and the different research groups currently active in Spain, which may lead the way to the development of the field in the coming years. The uncontrolled release of acid mine drainage (AMD) results in the ongoing deterioration of groundwater and surface water, along with harmful impacts on aquatic ecosystems and surrounding habitats. This study employed a bibliometric analysis to examine research activities and trends related to AMD from 1991 to 2021. The analysis demonstrated a consistent growth in AMD research over the years, with a notable surge in the number of publications starting from 2014. Applied Geochemistry and Science of the Total Environment emerged as the top two extensively published journals in the field of AMD research. The USA held a prominent position, achieving the highest h-index (96) and central value (0.36) among 111 countries/territories, with China and Spain following closely behind. The author keyword analysis provides an overview of the main focuses in AMD research. Furthermore, the co-citation reference analysis reveals four primary domains of AMD research. Moreover, the prevention and remediation of AMD, including source prevention and migration control, as well as the hazards posed by heavy metals/metalloids and the mechanisms and techniques employed for their removal, are discussed in detail. The concept of multimodal metaphor has generated a growing body of literature over the past decades. However, a systemic review of the domain seems to be lacking in relevant literature. This study, therefore, is an attempt to conduct a bibliometric analysis of the field of multimodal metaphor during 1977-2022, with a focus on 397 relevant publications retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) with the visualization tool VOSviewer. Some major quantitative findings are: (i) the number of publications in multimodal research began to surge in 2010 upon the seminal work of Forceville's (2009); (ii) USA, China and Spain are the most productive countries; (iii) journals in the field of advertising, communication and linguistics are important sources of publications; and (iv) eleven clusters of keywords are identified, such as "visual metaphor", "persuasion", "pictures", "impact", "multimodal metaphor", "model", etc., representing crucial areas of interests. We also identified, by qualitative observations, three research trends in multimodal metaphor, driven by cognitive linguistic theory, the theory of pragmatics and visual/multimodal rhetoric theory, respectively. Simple Summary: This study was conducted to further our understanding of the global research outcomes, frontiers, trends, and the most-studied areas in fascioliasis, and it is of specific value for veterinarians, doctors, and researchers. A total of 4165 documents published between 1913 and 2021 from 116 countries were analyzed bibliometrically. The results of the bibliometric analysis indicated that the top 50 institutes publishing research documents regarding fascioliasis are from developed countries. Therefore, it is important that researchers in developing countries seek collaboration with other researchers in developed countries to learn new advancements and effective control strategies for fascioliasis. The researchers in developing countries should seek collaboration mainly with those researchers in the USA, France, England, and Spain who published over 35% of the documents related to fascioliasis. Background: Fascioliasis is a zoonotic neglected tropical disease caused by Fasciola hepatica and F. gigantica. In endemic regions, fascioliasis represents a huge problem in livestock production and significantly threatens public health. The present study was performed to assess the key bibliometric indicators, plot the global research outcome, and strive to find the research frontiers and trends in fascioliasis. Methods: A descriptive bibliometric and visualized study was conducted. The data were extracted from the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) database. The WoSCC was searched using key terms covering a wide range of synonyms related to the causative agent (Fasciola) and the disease (fascioliasis). The database search was performed for the period from the inception of WoSCC until 3 October 2021. The downloaded data were exported into VOSviewer software version 1.6.17 for Windows to construct co-authorship countries, keywords co-occurrence, bibliographic coupling sources, and citation and documents network visualization. Results: A total of 4165 documents were included in this bibliometric analysis. The included documents were published between the years 1913 and 2021 from 116 countries, mainly from the United States of America (USA) (n = 482, 11.6%). The most prolific year was 2018 (n = 108). The journal that attracted the most publications was Veterinary Parasitology (n = 324), while the most productive author in this area was Rondelaud D (n = 156). In terms of total link strength (TLS), the most influential country was Spain (TLS = 236), followed by the USA (TLS = 178). Conclusion: This study is of value for veterinarians, doctors, and researchers to explore insights into research frontiers and trends in research on fascioliasis. The number of publications on fascioliasis has increased over time. Above 35% of publications have been produced by the USA, France, England, and Spain. "Fasciola hepatica" and "cattle" were the most dominant and widely used keywords. Research collaboration should be established among the researchers from developing countries with developed countries to learn new advancements and effective control strategies for fascioliasis.
