In recent years, researchers prepared composite conductive inks with high conductivity, high thermal conductivity, strong stability, and excellent comprehensive mechanical properties by combining carbon-based materials such as graphene and carbon nanotubes with metal-based materials. Through new electronic printing technologies, conductive inks can be used not only to promote the development of integrated circuits but also in various new electronic products. The conductive mechanism and the main types of conductive inks are introduced in this review. The advantages of electronic printing technology for preparing integrated circuits are analyzed. The research progress of fabricating integrated circuits with different electronic printing processes, such as screen printing, gravure printing, flexographic printing, and inkjet printing, are summarized. Laser cleaning is an advanced surface-cleaning technology that can lead to the instant evaporation and stripping of the attachments found on a substrate's surface, such as contaminants, rust, and coatings; it uses a high-energy laser beam to irradiate the components' surface. Compared with common surface-cleaning technologies, laser cleaning has the advantages of precision, efficiency, and controllability. In this paper, the fundamental mechanisms of laser cleaning technology are summarized in detail; these include the laser thermal ablation mechanism, the laser thermal stress mechanism, and the plasma shock wave mechanism. The operational principles, characteristics, and application range of each mechanism are discussed. Their typical applications in industry are outlined according to the differences in the substrate materials used, including metallic materials, nonmetallic materials, and semiconductor elements. This study provides a significant reference and guiding basis for researchers to further explore the fundamental mechanisms of laser cleaning, as well as various aspects of the typical industrial applications of laser cleaning. Inorganic lead halide perovskite is one of the most excellent fluorescent materials, and it plays an essential role in high-definition display and visible light communication (VLC). Its photochromic properties and stability determine the final performance of light-emitting devices. However, efficiently synthesizing perovskite with high quality and stability remains a significant challenge. Here, we develop a facile and environmentally friendly method for preparing high-stability and strong-emission CsPbBr3/Cs4PbBr6 composites using ultrasonication and liquid paraffin. Tuning the contents of liquid paraffin, bright-emission CsPbBr3/Cs4PbBr6 composite powders with a maximum PLQY of 74% were achieved. Thanks to the protection of the Cs4PbBr6 matrix and liquid paraffin, the photostability, thermostability, and polar solvent stability of CsPbBr3/Cs4PbBr6-LP are significantly improved compared to CsPbBr3 quantum dots and CsPbBr3/Cs4PbBr6 composites that were prepared without liquid paraffin. Moreover, the fabricated CsPbBr3/Cs4PbBr6-LP-based WLEDs show excellent luminescent performance with a power efficiency of 129.5 lm/W and a wide color gamut, with 121% of the NTSC and 94% of the Rec. 2020, demonstrating a promising candidate for displays. In addition, the CsPbBr3/Cs4PbBr6-LP-based WLEDs were also demonstrated in a VLC system. The steel structures of coastal engineering in the moist tropics and subtropics are always under a C5/CX level corrosion environment with high temperature, high humidity, and high salt fog. Anticorrosive waterborne coatings with high weatherability and reliability are urgently to be developed. In this work, one kind of waterborne heavy-duty anticorrosive coatings, with the advantages of excellent corrosion resistance, self-repairing ability, self-cleaning ability, and high film compactness, was successfully achieved through modifying the side chains on the surface morphologies of the spherical nanoscale titania. The micromorphology and structure of the coating were characterized by a scanning electron microscope (SEM), transmission electron microscope (TEM), and atomic force microscope (AFM). The anticorrosion characteristics and forming mechanism of the modified nanoscale titania coating were analyzed. The salt spray tests showed that the neutral salt spray resistance time of the modified nanoscale titania coating was 1440 h. Its durability reached the H level and met the design requirements for 15 years of anticorrosion lifetime. The modified nanoscale titania coatings had been large-scale commercially applied at some typical steel structures under an extreme harsh corrosion environment in one coastal thermal power plant. The results showed that no rusting, peeling, or crack phenomena were observed after 3 years of service under different harsh coastal corrosion conditions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

High blood pressure (BP) plays an important role in the pathogenesis and development of cardiovascular diseases and multi-organ damages. Music has been well known to elicit emotional changes, such as anxiolytic effects. However, whether music therapy lowers BP in spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHR) and the potential mechanism remains unknown. SHRs were, respectively exposed to white noise (WN), Western classical music (WM), Chinese classical music (CCM), rock music (RM), and bisoprolol treatment. WN and WM did not lower systemic BP, but CCM and RM significantly lowered BPs in SHRs. The effects of CCM therapy on lowering systemic BPs is comparable to that of bisoprolol at the dose of low to medium. Combination of CCM treatment with bisoprolol further improved systemic BPs and myocardial hypertrophy in SHRs, compared to CCM treatment or bisoprolol alone. Furthermore, IHC and WB analysis indicated that CCM therapy inhibited the β1/cAMP/PKA and α1/PLC/PKC signalings, but didn't alter the β2/PI3K/Akt signaling. Above all, CCM therapy lowers systemic BPs and alleviates myocardial hypertrophy in hypertensive rats, which may be caused by the inhibitions of β1/cAMP/PKA and α1/PLC/PKC signalings. First-principles calculations based on the density functional theory were performed to systematically study the electronic properties of the thin film of antimony in (111) orientation. By considering the spinâ€"orbit interaction, for stoichiometric surface, the topological states keep robust for six-bilayer case, and can be recovered in the three-bilayer film, which are guaranteed by time-reversal symmetry and inverse symmetry. For reduced surface doped by non-magnetic Bi or magnetic Mn atom, localized three-fold symmetric features can be identified. Moreover, band structures show that the non-trivial topological states stand for non-magnetic substitutional Bi atom, while can be eliminated by adsorbed or substitutional magnetic Mn atom. Cerebral ischemia triggers vascular dementia (VD), which is characterized by memory loss, cognitive deficits, and vascular injury in the brain. Puerarin (Pur) represents the major isoflavone glycoside of Radix Puerariae, with verified neuroprotective activity and cardiovascular protective effects. However, whether Pur ameliorates cognitive impairment and vascular injury in rats with permanent occlusion of bilateral common carotid arteries (BCCAO) remains unknown. This work aimed to assess Pur's effects on BCCAO-induced VD and to dissect the underlying mechanisms, especially examining the function of transient receptor potential melastatin-related 2 (TRPM2) in alleviating cognitive deficits and vascular injuries. Rats with BCCAO developed VD. Pur (50, 100, and 150 mg/kg) dose-dependently attenuated the pathological changes, increased synaptic structural plasticity in the dorsal CA1 hippocampal region and decreased oxidative stress, which eventually reduced cognitive impairment and vascular injury in BCCAO rats. Notably, Pur-improved neuronal cell loss, synaptic structural plasticity, and endothelial vasorelaxation function might be mediated by the reactive oxygen species (ROS)-dependent TRPM2/NMDAR pathway, evidenced by decreased levels of ROS, malondialdehyde (MDA), Bax, Bax/Bcl2, and TRPM2, and increased levels of superoxide dismutase (SOD), Bcl2, and NR2A. Veronica polita Fr. 1819 (synonym: Veronica didyma Ten. 1981) is a species of annual herb with high medicinal value. It is originally from Southwest Asia, but has been naturalized widely in many regions of the world. In this study, the complete chloroplast genome of V. polita was determined to be 150,191 bp long with a typical quadripartite structure, comprising two inverted repeat regions (IRa and IRb, 25,465 bp each), a large single-copy (LSC) region (81,847 bp) and a small single-copy (SSC) region (17,414 bp). It encodes a panel of 114 genes (including 79 protein-coding, 31 tRNA, and four rRNA genes) with 18 of them being completely or partially duplicated and 19 of them possessing one or two introns. Phylogenetic analysis supported the tribal-level taxonomy of the family Plantaginaceae, and revealed that V. polita was most closely related to the congener Veronica persica Poir. 1808.
