Son yıllarda büyük veri, birçok alanda faydalı olması sebebi ile dikkatleri üzerine çekmiştir. Büyük veri analitiği işletmelerde birçok faaliyet alanında yardımcı olduğu gibi herhangi bir konuda görüş sahibi olmaya da yardımcı olduğu görülmektedir. Ancak bazı sektörlerde büyük veri analitiğinin kabul edilmesinin ve uygulanmasının önünde engellerin olduğu görülmektedir. Bunlardan sektörlerden biri de lojistik sektörüdür. Lojistik sektöründe büyük veri analitiğinin önemi ve uygulama alanları bulunmasına rağmen büyük veri analitiğinin uygulanmadığı işletmeler mevcuttur. Bu çalışmada ise, lojistik sektöründe büyük veri uygulamalarının önündeki kritik engellerin incelenmesi ve aralarındaki ilişkilerinin açıklanıp yorumlanması amaçlanmıştır. Engellerin birbirlerini hangi doğrultuda etkilendiklerini ortaya koymak ve odaklanması gerekilen engelleri belirlemek için Yorumlayıcı Yapısal Modelleme Yöntemi (ISM) kullanılmıştır. Büyük veri uygulamalarının önündeki engeller, birbirlerini etkileme ve birbirlerinden etkilenme durumlarına göre sınıflandırmak için ise MICMAC yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Sonuçta, lojistik sektöründe büyük veri analitiği önündeki en önemli engeller; "veri yönetimindeki karmaşıklık" ve "işletmelerin örgütsel değişime direnmesi" engelleridir. Bu engeller sistem içerisinde etkileme ve etkilenme özelliğine sahiptirler. "Veri güvenliği ve gizliliği", "bilgi işlem gücü", "nitelikli iş gücü eksikliği", "bilgi paylaşım eksikliği", "üst yönetim taahhüdü eksikliği", "mevcut eski sistemler" ve "büyük veri uygulamalarının yaygın olmaması" engelleri ise kontrol altında tutulması gereken ikinci sırada yer alan engellerdir. "Finansal yetersizlik" ve "düşük veri kalitesi" engelleri sistem içinde fazla bağlılığa sahip olmayan ve etkilemeyen engeller olarak son sırada yer almaktadır. In recent years, big data has attracted attention due to its usefulness in many fields. It is seen that big data analytics helps businesses in many fields of activity as well as helping to have an opinion on any subject. However, it is seen that there are barriers in front of the acceptance and implementation of big data analytics in some sectors. One of these sectors is the logistics sector. Despite the importance and application areas of big data analytics in the logistics sector, there are businesses where big data analytics are not applied. In this study, it is aimed to examine the critical barriers in front of big data applications in the logistics sector and to explain and interpret the relations between them. The Interpretive Structural Modeling Method (ISM) was used to reveal the direction in which the barriers affect each other and to identify the barriers that should be focused on. The MICMAC method was used to classify the barriers in front of big data applications according to their impact and impact from each other. After all, the most important barriers to big data analytics in the logistics industry are; "Complexity in data management" and "business resistance to organizational change" are barriers. These barriers have the ability to affect and be affected within the system. Barriers of "data security and privacy", "computing power", "lack of skilled workforce", "lack of information sharing", "lack of senior management commitment", "existing legacy systems" and "uncommonity of big data applications" are under control. They are the second-order barriers that need to be kept. "Financial insufficiency" and "poor data quality" barriers are in the last place as barriers that do not have much commitment and do not affect the system.

The rapid development of technology and the penetration of digitalization into life have transformed communication, media, and all other areas. The change in the technology used in traditional journalism has also transformed the gathering-writing-presenting news practices in journalism in the new media environment. All these transformations are a result of the public nature of journalism. Transformations are spread to the entire society that is in direct interaction with the news. Therefore, defining the causes of journalist labour transformation in the new media order is essential in understanding their social effects. Assessments that accept that new communication and internet technologies offer excellent opportunities to facilitate the production practices of journalists do not provide a holistic approach to the transformation in question. The thought that the enabling environment of these technologies only positively affects journalists makes invisible the professional problems of journalists who are under technological blockade. To make sense of the news's production process and determine the effects of the transformation, it is necessary to focus and examine the journalist and his/her labour, who is the leading actor of the process. In this study, the effect of technological transformation on the media industry will be examined through a literature review on the field, through the journalist and the journalism profession, and the new working styles and transforming journalism practices that journalists are exposed to under changing conditions will be tried to be read from a critical perspective. The study also discusses the effects of journalism working practices that are transformed by the impact of technology. The analysis data to be used in this paper will be obtained from articles focused on new media, journalism, and the labour process. The study aims to understand the technological transformation and causes of the new media order in the axis of the journalistic labour process., Teknolojinin hızla gelişmesi ve dijitalleşmenin hayatın tümüne nüfuz etmesi, diğer tüm alanları olduğu gibi iletişim ve medya alanını da dönüşüme uğratmıştır. Geleneksel gazetecilikte kullanılan teknolojinin farklılaşması, yeni medya ortamında yapılan gazetecilikteki haber toplama-yazma-sunma pratiklerini de dönüştürmüştür. Gazeteciliğin kamusal niteliğinden dolayı yaşanan tüm bu dönüşümler, gazeteci emeğinin ürünü olan haberle doğrudan etkileşim halinde olan toplumun tümüne sirayet etmektedir. Dolayısıyla yeni medya düzeninde gazeteci emeğinin dönüşümündeki belirleyicilerin tespit edilmesi, mesleğin toplumsal olana ilişkin etkilerinin anlaşılması bakımından da önem taşımaktadır. Yeni iletişim ve internet teknolojilerinin, gazetecilerin üretim pratiklerini kolaylaştıracak büyük imkânlar sunduğu düşüncesiyle yapılan değerlendirmeler, söz konusu dönüşüme ilişkin bütüncül bir yaklaşım sunmamaktadır. Bu teknolojilerin sahip olduğu teknik imkânların gazetecilerin iş yapma biçimlerini yalnızca olumlu anlamda kolaylaştırdığı fikri, gazetecilerin teknolojik kuşatılmışlık altında yaşadıkları mesleki sorunları görünmez kılmaktadır. Haberin üretim sürecini anlamlandırmak ve yaşanan dönüşümün etkilerini saptayabilmek için sürecin baş aktörü olan gazetecinin ve emeğinin odağa alınması ve incelenmesi gerekmektedir. Bu çalışmada, alanla ilgili yapılacak olan literatür taraması ile, teknolojik dönüşümün medya endüstrisi üzerindeki etkisi, gazeteci ve gazetecilik mesleği üzerinden incelenecek ve değişen koşullarda gazetecilerin maruz bırakıldıkları yeni çalışma biçimleri ve dönüşen gazetecilik pratikleri eleştirel bir perspektiften okunmaya çalışılacaktır. Çalışmada, teknolojinin de etkisiyle dönüşen gazetecilik çalışma pratiklerinin gazetecilik emek sürecine olan etkileri tartışmaya açılacaktır. Çalışmada kullanılacak analiz verileri, yeni medya, gazetecilik ve emek süreci ile ilgili bilimsel makalelerden elde edilecektir. Çalışmanın amacı, söz konusu teknolojik dönüşümü ve yeni medya düzeninin belirleyicilerini gazetecilik emek süreci ekseninde anlamaya çalışmaktır.

The demand for highly efficient cancer diagnostic tools increases alongside the high cancer incidence nowadays. Moreover, there is an imperative need for novel cancer treatment therapies that lack the side effects of conventional treatment options. Developments in this aspect employ magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) for biomedical applications due to their stability, biocompatibility, and magnetic properties. Certain organisms, including many bacteria, can synthesize magnetic nanocrystals, which help their spatial orientation and survival by sensing the earth's geomagnetic field. This work aims to convert Escherichia coli to accumulate magnetite, which can further be coupled with drug delivery modules. The authors design magnetite accumulating bacterial machines using genetic circuitries hiring Mms6 with iron-binding activity and essential in magnetite crystal formation. The work demonstrates that the combinatorial effect of Mms6 with ferroxidase, iron transporter protein, and material binding peptide enhances the paramagnetic behavior of the cells in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) measurements. Cellular machines are also engineered to display Mms6 peptide on the cell surface via an autotransporter protein that shows augmented MRI performance. The findings are promising for endowing a probiotic bacterium, able to accumulate magnetite intracellularly or extracellularly, serving as a theranostics agent for cancer diagnostics via MRI scanning and hyperthermia treatment. © 2022 Wiley-VCH GmbH.
