Objective Methods Results Conclusion Numerous surgical techniques for addressing ulnar coronoid process fractures are available; however, a consensus on the optimal approach remains elusive. This study aimed to use the anterior neurovascular interval approach for the surgical management of ulnar coronoid process fractures and to evaluate its clinical outcomes over short‐ to mid‐term follow‐up.This retrospective clinical study included 20 patients with ulnar coronoid process fractures who were treated using the anterior neurovascular interval approach between January 2018 and December 2022. Participants comprised 16 males and four females, aged between 20 and 64 years (mean, 34.3 ± 12.44 years). Clinical and radiological evaluations were based on elbow joint range of motion (ROM), Visual analogue scale (VAS), and Mayo elbow performance score (MEPS). A paired t‐test was used to compare the pre‐operative and final follow‐up VAS and MEPS scores.The follow‐up duration for all patients was at least 12 months (average, 12.65 ± 1.60 months). At the final follow‐up, measurements of elbow ROM included a mean extension of 2.85 ± 3.17°, mean flexion of 135 ± 7.25°, mean pronation of 86.4 ± 4.56°, and mean supination of 84.85 ± 5.54°. All participants reached their target MEPS, with an average score of 97.25 ± 4.72 points, and the final mean VAS score was 0.2 ± 0.52 points. The VAS score was significantly lower and MEPS score was higher at the final follow‐up than those before surgery (p < 0.05). Throughout the follow‐up period, all the fractures united, and the stability of the affected elbows was satisfactory.Employing the anterior neurovascular interval approach for open reduction and internal fixation to manage coronoid process fractures effectively facilitates anatomical restoration and robust fixation of ulnar coronoid process fractures. Water vapor plays a pivotal role in the intricate processes of energy exchange and climate dynamics. However, a comprehensive understanding of the spatial distribution and temporal variability of water vapor in distinct climatic regions of China is still limited due to the intricate interplay of complex topography and diverse climatic conditions. This study investigates the multiscale variability of water vapor using 10-year 1-hour data of precipitable water vapor (PWV) from 248 observation stations of the Crustal Movement Observation Network of China (CMONOC). Significant variations in PWV distribution among China's climate regions are observed. Average PWV values vary considerably across regions, with the Tropical and Subtropical Monsoon Climate (TSMC) having the highest mean PWV of 32.09 mm, followed by the Midlatitude Monsoon Climate (MMC) with 15.70 mm, the Humid Continental Climate (HCC) with 9.26 mm, and the Plateau Climate (PC) with 7.66 mm. Seasons exhibit summer concentration and winter reduction across regions. Most stations exhibit increasing PWV trends, while a few show decreasing trends. The amplitude of annual PWV variations is higher in TSMC and MMC regions with a range from 8 to 22 mm, compared to HCC and PC regions with a range from 2 to 15 mm. Semiannual variations range from 0 to 6 mm in each region. PWV negatively correlates with latitude, altitude and pressure, particularly in the TSMC. Positive correlations with temperature exist in all regions, with varying strengths. The effect of hydrogen content on the deformation and fracture behavior of 27Cr−4Mo−2Ni super ferritic stainless steel (SFSS) was investigated in this study. It was shown that the plasticity and yield strength of SFSS were very susceptible to hydrogen content. The introduction of hydrogen led to a significant decrease in elongation and a concurrent increase in yield strength. Nevertheless, a critical threshold was identified in the elongation reduction, after which the elongation remained approximately constant even with more hydrogen introduced, while the yield strength exhibited a monotonic increase with increasing hydrogen content within the experimental range, attributed to the pinning effect of the hydrogen Cottrell atmosphere on dislocations. Furthermore, the hydrogen-charged SFSS shows an apparent drop in flow stress after upper yielding and a reduced work hardening rate during the subsequent plastic deformation. Graph neural networks (GNNs) have many variants for graph representation learning. Several works introduce PageRank into GNNs to improve its neighborhood aggregation capabilities. However, these methods leverage the general PageRank to perform complex neighborhood aggregation to obtain the final feature representation, which leads to high computational cost and oversmoothing. In this paper, we propose simple hierarchical PageRank graph neural networks (SHP-GNNs), which first utilize the simple PageRank to aggregate different neighborhood ranges of each node and then leverage a jumping architecture to combine these aggregated features to enable hierarchical structure-aware representation. In this case, first, the simple PageRank turns the neighborhood aggregation process to no-learning, thereby reducing the computational complexity of the model. Then, the jumping structure combines the aggregation features of each node's different hierarchy (neighborhood range) to learn more informative feature representation. Finally, the successful combination of the above methods alleviates the oversmoothing problem of deep GNNs. Our experimental evaluation demonstrates that SHP-GNNs achieve or match state-of-the-art results in node classification tasks, text classification tasks, and community prediction tasks. Osteoarthritis (OA) is a debilitating joint disorder that affects millions of people worldwide. Despite its prevalence, our understanding of the underlying mechanisms remains incomplete. In recent years, transient receptor potential vanilloid (TRPV) channels have emerged as key players in OA pathogenesis. This review provides an in-depth exploration of the role of the TRPV pathway in OA, encompassing its involvement in pain perception, inflammation, and mechanotransduction. Furthermore, we discuss the latest research findings, potential therapeutic strategies, and future directions in the field, shedding light on the multifaceted nature of TRPV channels in OA. Herein, the toughening mechanism and effects of 3-(aminopropyl)triethoxysilane (3-APTES) intercalation in calcium–silicate–hydrate (CSH) structures were investigated through molecular dynamics simulations. CSH established a model using 11 Å-tobermorite to simulate the tensile properties, toughness, adsorption energy, average orientation displacement and radial distribution function of 3-APTES intercalation at different Ca/Si ratios under conditions of a CVFF force field, an NVT system, and 298 K temperature. Simulation results demonstrate that 3-APTES alters the fracture process of CSH and effectively enhances its tensile properties and toughness. The presence of 3-APTES molecules increases the energy required to destroy CSH, thereby increasing the adsorption energy of CSH crystals. Furthermore, 3-APTES molecules effectively increase the atom density within the CSH structure. As the Ca/Si ratio increases, Ca–O bond formation is enhanced, with noticeable aggregation occurring because of modification by 3-APTES within the CSH structure. This study found that 3-APTES organic compounds can effectively improve the tensile, toughness, adsorption and other properties of the CSH structure, and further improve the microstructure of CSH. Introduction: This study explored the current views of ophthalmologists in China on the preferred strategy and the primary influencing factors in managing primary angle-closure suspect (PACS). Methods: An online survey was distributed via WeChat to ophthalmologists working in hospitals at all levels throughout China to investigate the optimal management strategy and factors influencing the strategy for treating PACS from February to March 2023. Management strategies examined included regular observation (RO), laser peripheral iridectomy (LPI), and phacoemulsification with intraocular lens implantation (PEI). The study explored the factors that influenced clinical decision-making processes and collected demographic information from the respondents for analysis. Results: A total of 1009 ophthalmologists responded; 442 responders considered RO as a reasonable option for patients with PACS, while the majority opted for more positive treatments, with 460 choosing LPI and 107 selecting PEI. Further grouping analysis revealed significant differences between tertiary and lower-level hospitals (P < 0.01) and between public and private hospitals (P < 0.05). Significant differences were found among resident, attending, and senior doctors and between northern and southern hospitals. The top three considerations for ophthalmologists who selected RO were ultrasound biomicroscopy (UBM) without pupillary block, absence of a family history of glaucoma, and good compliance with regular follow-up. For LPI, the factors were UBM indicating pupillary block, glaucoma symptoms, and poor compliance with regular follow-up. For PEI the factors were age, family history of glaucoma, and poor compliance with regular follow-up. Conclusion: The majority of ophthalmologists prefer aggressive treatments such as LPI or PEI over RO when dealing with patients with PACS. Disparity existed among ophthalmologists based on their level of experience, hospital ownership and level, and geographical location. The survey underscores the complexity and multifactorial nature of PACS management and highlights the need for further research and standardization of treatment protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Transgenic corn and cotton that express Cry and Vip insecticidal proteins from the bacterium, Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt), have been valuable tools for the management of lepidopteran pests. In 2019, a Vip3Aa-resistant strain of Helicoverpa zea (CEW-Vip-RR) was isolated from F2 screens of field populations in Texas. Characterizing the resistance mechanism in this strain is important for predicting the sustained efficacy of current commercial Bt traits and guiding the development of future transgenic traits. Resistance to insecticidal proteins in Bt traits is commonly associated with reduced toxin binding, with the exception of Vip3Aa resistance being associated to altered proteolytic processing in the insect host gut. Therefore, Vip3Aa protoxin processing was tested by incubation with midgut fluids from CEW-Vip-RR relative to a susceptible strain (CEW-SS). Finding no significant processing differences, alterations in Vip3Aa binding were tested by comparing binding of radiolabeled and biotinylated Vip3Aa toxin to midgut brush border membrane vesicles (BBMV) from CEW-Vip-RR and CEW-SS larvae. Specific Vip3Aa binding to CEW-Vip-RR BBMV in these experiments was consistently reduced when compared with CEW-SS BBMV. These results support that an altered Vip3Aa-receptor is associated with resistance in CEW-Vip-RR. Understanding this resistance mechanism could have important implications for resistance management decisions, considering widespread Cry1 and Cry2 resistance in H. zea populations. IMPORTANCE Helicoverpa zea is a major crop pest in the United States that is managed with transgenic corn and cotton that produce insecticidal proteins from the bacterium, Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt). However, H. zea has evolved widespread resistance to the Cry proteins produced in Bt corn and cotton, leaving Vip3Aa as the only plant-incorporated protectant in Bt crops that consistently provides excellent control of H. zea. The benefits provided by Bt crops will be substantially reduced if widespread Vip3Aa resistance develops in H. zea field populations. Therefore, it is important to identify resistance alleles and mechanisms that contribute to Vip3Aa resistance to ensure that informed resistance management strategies are implemented. This paper proposes a flexible eddy current TMR (FEC-TMR) sensor to monitor the internal crack of metal joint structures. First, the finite element model of the FEC-TMR sensor is established to analyze the influence of the sensor's crack identification sensitivity with internal crack propagation at different depths and determine the optimal location and exciting frequency of the sensor. Then, the optimal longitudinal spacing and exciting frequency of the sensor are tested by experiment. The experimental results are consistent with the simulation results, which verify the correctness of the simulation model. Finally, the experiment is carried out for internal cracks of different depths to verify that the sensor can monitor internal cracks, and the crack identification sensitivity gradually decreases with the increase in the depth of the crack from the surface. Street view images are emerging as new street-level sources of urban environmental information. Accurate detection and quantification of urban air conditioners is crucial for evaluating the resilience of urban residential areas to heat wave disasters and formulating effective disaster prevention policies. Utilizing street view image data to predict the spatial coverage of urban air conditioners offers a simple and effective solution. However, detecting and accurately counting air conditioners in complex street-view environments remains challenging. This study introduced 3D parameter-free attention and coordinate attention modules into the target detection process to enhance the extraction of detailed features of air conditioner external units. It also integrated a small target detection layer to address the challenge of detecting small target objects that are easily missed. As a result, an improved algorithm named SC4-YOLOv7 was developed for detecting and recognizing air conditioner external units in street view images. To validate this new algorithm, we extracted air conditioner external units from street view images of residential buildings in Guilin City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China. The results of the study demonstrated that SC4-YOLOv7 significantly improved the average accuracy of recognizing air conditioner external units in street view images from 87.93% to 91.21% compared to the original YOLOv7 method while maintaining a high speed of image recognition detection. The algorithm has the potential to be extended to various applications requiring small target detection, enabling reliable detection and recognition in real street environments. To reduce the noise generated by large mechanical equipment, a stackable and expandable acoustic metamaterial with multiple tortuous channels (SEAM–MTCs) was developed in this study. The proposed SEAM–MTCs consisted of odd panels, even panels, chambers, and a final closing plate, and these component parts could be fabricated separately and then assembled. The influencing factors, including the number of layers N, the thickness of panel t0, the size of square aperture a, and the depth of chamber T0 were investigated using acoustic finite element simulation. The sound absorption mechanism was exhibited by the distributions of the total acoustic energy density at the resonance frequencies. The number of resonance frequencies increased from 13 to 31 with the number of layers N increasing from 2 to 6, and the average sound absorption coefficients in [200 Hz, 6000 Hz] was improved from 0.5169 to 0.6160. The experimental validation of actual sound absorption coefficients in [200 Hz, 1600 Hz] showed excellent consistency with simulation data, which proved the accuracy of the finite element simulation model and the reliability of the analysis of influencing factors. In order to solve the problem that the railway passenger volume data are abnormal due to holidays and major events interfering with the prediction accuracy, the spline interpolation method is introduced to replace the abnormal passenger volume data. In addition, an improved particle swarm optimization (IPSO) is proposed to optimize the gradient difference acceleration law to combine and improve the predicted value and further improve the prediction accuracy of the railway passenger traffic. Finally, taking Beijing as the research object, the Holt exponential smoothing method and the BP neural network are selected to verify the effect of spline interpolation and IPSO-gradient difference acceleration law on prediction accuracy. The research results show that the spline interpolation method has a better prediction effect after processing abnormal passenger traffic data, and the improved particle swarm algorithm also shows better optimization ability and convergence speed when solving the double difference postulate. In comparison with the BP neural network, Holt exponential smoothing, simple averaging, and conventional redifference approaches, the IPSO-redifference acceleration method achieves a superior prediction performance, and the absolute values of the forecast error are reduced by 3.320%, 1.518%, 2.419%, and 0.602%. Cellular signaling data have become increasingly indispensable in analyzing residents' travel characteristic. Especially with the enhancement of positioning quality in 4G-LTE and 5G wireless communication systems, it is expected that the identification accuracy of fine-grained travel modes will achieve an optimal level. However, due to data privacy issues, the empirical evaluation of the performance of different identification methods is not yet sufficient. This paper builds a travel mode identification model that utilizes the gated recurrent unit (GRU) neural network. With 24 features as input, this method can identify four traffic modes, including walking, bicycle, car, and bus. Moreover, in cooperation with the operator, we organized an experiment collecting cellular signaling data, as well as the corresponding GPS data. Using the collected dataset as ground-truth data, the performance of the method presented in this paper and other popular methods is verified and compared. The results indicate that the GRU-based method has a better performance, with a precision, recall, and F score of 90.5%. Taking F score as an example, the outcome of the GRU-based method is about 6% to 7% higher than methods based on other machine learning algorithms. Considering the identification accuracy and model training time comprehensively, the method suggested in this paper outperforms the other three deep learning-based methods, namely, recurrent neural network (RNN), long short-term memory network (LSTM), and bidirectional long short-term memory network (Bi-LSTM). Background: Lifespan extension has independently evolved several times during mammalian evolution, leading to the emergence of a group of long-lived animals. Though mammalian/mechanistic target of rapamycin (mTOR) signaling pathway is shown as a central regulator of lifespan and aging, the underlying influence of mTOR pathway on the evolution of lifespan in mammals is not well understood. Results: Here, we performed evolution analyses of 72 genes involved in the mTOR network across 48 mammals to explore the underlying mechanism of lifespan extension. We identified a total of 20 genes with significant evolution signals unique to long-lived species, including 12 positively selected genes, four convergent evolution genes, and five longevity associated genes whose evolution rate related to the maximum lifespan (MLS). Of these genes, four positively selected genes, two convergent evolution genes and one longevity-associated gene were involved in the autophagy response and aging-related diseases, while eight genes were known as cancer genes, indicating the long-lived species might have evolved effective regulation mechanisms of autophagy and cancer to extend lifespan. Conclusion: Our study revealed genes with significant evolutionary signals unique to long-lived species, which provided new insight into the lifespan extension of mammals and might bring new strategies to extend human lifespan. The performance of an active control system, crucial for the co-phase maintenance of segmented mirrors, is closely related to the spatial layout of sensors and actuators. This article compares two types of edge sensor layouts, vertical and horizontal, and proposes a novel tandem differential sensor layout that saves layout space and reduces the number of positioning references. The control performance of this scheme is analyzed in terms of error propagation, mode representation, and the scalable construction of the control matrix. Finally, we constructed a tandem differential-based sensor detection system to examine the performance of edge sensors and the effect of laboratory environmental variables on sensor measurements. Simulations and experiments demonstrate that this scheme has the same ability to fully characterize actuator modification modes as the Keck edge sensor layout. Although the total error multiplier is slightly larger than the latter, it has fewer scalable control matrix types and stronger spatial and segmental shape adaptation capabilities. Actual measurements show that the sensor's own noise in a tandem differential layout is less than 20 nm, which meets the requirements for future segmented co-phase maintenance. The limited occupied space and various noise spectrum requires an adjustable sound absorber with a smart structure and tunable sound absorption performance. The hexagonal acoustic metamaterial cell of the multiple parallel-connection resonators with tunable perforating rate was proposed in this research, which consisted of six triangular cavities and six trapezium cavities, and the perforation rate of each cavity was adjustable by moving the sliding block along the slideway. The optimal geometric parameters were obtained by the joint optimization of the acoustic finite element simulation and cuckoo search algorithm, and the average sound absorption coefficients in the target frequency ranges of 650–1150 Hz, 700–1200 Hz and 700–1000 Hz were up to 0.8565, 0.8615 and 0.8807, respectively. The experimental sample was fabricated by the fused filament fabrication method, and its sound absorption coefficients were further detected by impedance tube detector. The consistency between simulation data and experimental data proved the accuracy of the acoustic finite element simulation model and the effectiveness of the joint optimization method. The tunable sound absorption performance, outstanding low-frequency noise reduction property, extensible outline structure and efficient space utilization were favorable to promote its practical applications in noise reduction. Gallium (Ga) has been revisited as a potential candidate for engineering potent antibacterial drugs and materials. Here, various types of Ga-enabled bactericidal medicine (GaBM) are introduced that have shown excellent performances both in vitro and in vivo. Future opportunities of GaBM are discussed based on an interdisciplinary perspective. Metallic materials have been used as antibacterial agents since antiquity. Gallium (Ga), an abiogenic metal, has shown pharmaceutical effects in developing unconventional anticancer and antibacterial drugs. Recent advances have disclosed the potential of Ga-based materials in creating bactericidal medicine (GaBM) that is safe, efficacious, multifunctional, and even smart, showing promising results both in the lab research and in clinical trials. Here, we describe the chemical and toxicological principles underlying the antibacterial activity of various types of GaBM, including ions, colloids, and composites, and discuss their in vitro and in vivo performances in different disease models. We expect that GaBM is rapidly advancing towards broad-spectrum antimicrobial medicine in combating bacterial pathogens, fungi, and viruses, and other microorganisms; interdisciplinary research is on the way to improve molecular levelled understanding of GaBM and facilitate its future collaborations with drug discovery, nanotechnology, and precision medicine. Bamboo scrimber is widely used in interior decoration, architecture, and many other fields. However, it has caused huge security risks due to its inherent flammability and easy-to-produce toxic volatiles after combustion. In this work, the bamboo scrimber with superior flame retardant and smoke suppression properties was produced via the coupling of phosphocalcium-aluminum hydrotalcite (PCaAl-LDHs) with bamboo bundles. The results demonstrated that the flame-retardant bamboo scrimber (FRBS) heat release rate (HRR) and total heat release (THR) were, respectively, reduced by 34.46% and 15.86% compared with that of untreated bamboo scrimber. At the same time, the unique multi-layer structure of PCaAl-LDHs effectively slowed down the release rate of flue gas by extending its escape path. Cone calorimetry showed that the total smoke emissions (TSR) and specific extinction area (SEA) of FRBS were, respectively, reduced by 65.97% and 85.96% when the concentration of the flame retardant was 2%, which greatly developed the fire safety of the bamboo scrimber. The incidence of thyroid cancer (TC) continues to increase worldwide. Aerobic glycolysis, the prominent feature of glucose metabolism in cancer progression, is associated with TC. We first demonstrated that HIF-1a is highly expressed in TC tissues and is positively correlated with the level of XIST in the serum of patients with TC. Then, we proved that XIST regulates the expression of HIF-1a through the XIST/miR-93/HIF-1a pathway, thereby regulating the level of glycolysis in TC cells. Knockdown of XIST inhibits glycolysis, proliferation, the cell cycle and metastasis of TC cells. Finally, we verified that artemisinin could target the degradation of HIF-1a and inhibit glycolysis in TC cells. Two series of novel steroidal[17,16-d]pyrimidines derived from natural epiandrosterone and androsterone were designed and synthesized, and these compounds were screened for their potential anticancer activities. The preliminary bioassay indicated that some of these prepared compounds exhibited significantly good cytotoxic activities against human gastric cancer (SGC-7901), lung cancer (A549), and hepatocellular liver carcinoma (HepG2) cell lines compared with 5-fluorouracil (5-FU), epiandrosterone, and androsterone. Especially the respective pairs from epiandrosterone and androsterone showed significantly different inhibitory activities, and the possible configuration-activity relationships have also been summarized and discussed based on kinase assay and molecular docking, which indicated that the inhibition activities of these steroidal[17,16-d]pyrimidines might obviously be affected by the configuration of the hydroxyl group in the part of the steroidal scaffold. Headaches account for up to 4.5% of emergency department visits, where they present a significant diagnostic challenge. While primary headaches are benign, secondary headaches can be life-threatening. It is essential to rapidly differentiate between primary and secondary headaches as the latter require immediate diagnostic work-up. Current assessment relies on subjective measures; time constraints can result in overuse of diagnostic neuroimaging, prolonging diagnosis, and adding to economic burden. There is therefore an unmet need for a time- and cost-efficient, quantitative triaging tool to guide further diagnostic testing. Routine blood tests may provide important diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers indicating underlying headache causes. In this retrospective study (approved by the UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency Independent Scientific Advisory Committee for Clinical Practice Research Datalink (CPRD) research [20_000173]), UK CPRD real-world data from patients (n = 121,241) presenting with headache from 1993–2021 were used to generate a predictive model based on a machine learning (ML) approach for primary versus secondary headaches. A ML-based predictive model was constructed using two different methods (logistic regression and random forest) and the following predictors were evaluated: ten standard measurements of complete blood count (CBC) test, 19 ratios of the ten CBC test parameters, and patient demographic and clinical characteristics. The model's predictive performance was assessed using a set of cross-validated model performance metrics. The final predictive model showed modest predictive accuracy using the random forest method (balanced accuracy: 0.7405). The sensitivity, specificity, false negative rate (incorrect prediction of secondary headache as primary headache), and false positive rate (incorrect prediction of primary headache as secondary headache) were 58%, 90%, 10%, and 42%, respectively. Simple Summary: To form a better understanding and benefit future conservation of the apollo and swallowtail butterflies in the Hengduan Mountains in China, the present research projected the 59 Papilionidae species' spatial richness using the Maxent model and predicted the response to climate change. The spatial pattern of apollos concentrated in the subalpine to alpine areas in western Sichuan, northwestern Yunnan, and eastern Tibet, while that of swallowtails is more confined to the tropical and subtropical valleys of western Yunnan and western Sichuan. However, the spatial distribution pattern and the climate vulnerability of Papilionidae butterflies in the HDMs remain unknown to date. The lack of such knowledge has already become an obstacle in formulating effective butterfly conservation strategies. The present research compiled a 59-species dataset with 1938 occurrence points. The Maxent model was applied to analyse the spatial pattern of species richness in subfamilies Parnassiinae and Papilioninae, as well as to predict the response under the influence of climate change. The spatial pattern of both subfamilies in the HDMs has obvious elevation prevalence, with Parnassiinae concentrated in the subalpine to alpine areas (2500–5500 m) in western Sichuan, northwestern Yunnan and eastern Tibet, while Papilioninae is concentrated in the low- to medium-elevation areas (1500–3500 m) in the river valleys of western Yunnan and western Sichuan. Under the influence of climate change, both subfamilies would exhibit northward and upward range shifts. The majority of Parnassiinae species would experience drastic habitat contraction, resulting in lower species richness across the HDMs. In contrast, most Papilioninae species would experience habitat expansion, and the species richness would also increase significantly. The findings of this research should provide new insights and a clue for butterfly diversity and climatic vulnerability in southwestern China. A Helmholtz resonator (HR) with an embedded aperture is an effective acoustic metamaterial for noise reduction in the low-frequency range. Its sound absorption property is significantly affected by the aperture shape. Sound absorption properties of HRs with the embedded aperture for various tangent sectional shapes were studied by a two-dimensional acoustic finite element simulation. The sequence of resonance frequency from low to high was olive, common trapeziform, reverse trapeziform, dumbbell and rectangle. Meanwhile, those HRs for various cross-sectional shapes were investigated by a three-dimensional acoustic finite element simulation. The sequence of resonance frequency from low to high were round, regular hexagon, square, regular triangle and regular pentagon. Moreover, the reason for these phenomena was analyzed by the distributions of sound pressure, acoustic velocity and temperature. Furthermore, on the basement of the optimum tangent and cross-sectional shape, the sound absorption property of parallel-connection Helmholtz resonators was optimized. The experimental sample with optimal parameters was fabricated, and its average sound absorption coefficient reached 0.7821 in 500–820 Hz with a limited thickness of 30 mm. The reaction heat of CO2 absorption by organic amines is directly related to the regenerative heat consumption of absorbers. Therefore, it is necessary to study and determine the heat of absorption reaction and heat of regeneration reaction of CO2 capture solvent before its industrial validation and application. According to the law of thermodynamics, a computer model of the heat of absorption reaction and desorption reaction is established and verified. The heat of reaction of the AEP-DPA phase transition absorption system was studied under different ratios, absorption temperatures, reaction concentrations and reaction pressures. The heat of reaction increases with concentration and decreases with pressure. The reaction heat of the AEP-DPA phase transition absorption system and MEA were compared. The optimum reaction conditions were as follows: AEP-DPA ratio 6:4, absorption temperature 40 °C. Megakaryocytes (MKs), a kind of functional hematopoietic stem cell, form platelets to maintain platelet balance through cell differentiation and maturation. In recent years, the incidence of blood diseases such as thrombocytopenia has increased, but these diseases cannot be fundamentally solved. The platelets produced by MKs can treat thrombocytopenia-associated diseases in the body, and myeloid differentiation induced by MKs has the potential to improve myelosuppression and erythroleukemia. Currently, ethnomedicine is extensively used in the clinical treatment of blood diseases, and the recent literature has reported that many phytomedicines can improve the disease status through MK differentiation. This paper reviewed the effects of botanical drugs on megakaryocytic differentiation covering the period 1994–2022, and information was obtained from PubMed, Web of Science and Google Scholar. In conclusions, we summarized the role and molecular mechanism of many typical botanical drugs in promoting megakaryocyte differentiation in vivo, providing evidence as much as possible for botanical drugs treating thrombocytopenia and other related diseases in the future. Introduction: This study aimed to investigate the distribution of corneal spherical aberration (CSA) and the relationship between corneal curvature with CSA and anterior chamber parameters in age-related cataract patients with normal axial lengths and shallow anterior chambers. Methods: Preoperative data of age-related cataract patients were collected in this retrospective comparative study. According to the average corneal curvature, the eyes were divided into groups of Km < 42 diopters (D), 42 D ≤ Km < 45 D, and Km ≥ 45 D. The axial length (AL) and corneal curvature were obtained using IOLMaster. CSA, anterior chamber depth (ACD), anterior chamber volume (ACV), anterior chamber angle (ACA), and corneal diameter (CD) were acquired according to Pentacam. The above parameters were compared among the three groups. Correlation analysis was applied to these parameters. Results: The average CSA value of 753 eyes was 0.41 ± 0.27 μm, with no significant difference among the three groups. Overall, CSA was significantly correlated with corneal curvature and ACD. The comparison of ACD among the three groups showed significant differences between the Km ≥ 45 D group, Km < 42 D group, and 42 D ≤ Km < 45 D group. Corneal curvature was positively correlated with ACD, and further analysis confirmed that the relationship was significant only in the Km ≥ 45 D group. There were statistically significant differences in CD between the three groups. A significant correlation was found in corneal curvature and CD in all eyes, which was also found in the 42 D ≤ Km < 45 D group and the Km ≥ 45 D group. Concerning ACV and ACA, no correlation with corneal curvature was found. In addition, the mean ACV and ACA of the three groups did not show any significant difference. Conclusions: CSA was higher in this population and had individual variance. With the development of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), the detection of precipitable water vapor (PWV) using the GNSS atmospheric sounding technique becomes a research interest in GNSS meteorology. In the conversion of zenith tropospheric delay (ZTD) to PWV, the weighted mean temperature (Tm) plays a crucial role. Generally, the Tm estimated by the linear regression models based on surface temperature (Ts) cannot meet the requirement for global use, and the accuracy of Tm derived from the empirical models is limited. In this study, a new Tm model, named GGTm-Ts model, was developed using the global geodetic observing system (GGOS) atmosphere Tm data and European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) data from 2011 to 2015. Resting upon a global 2.5°*2° grid of coefficients of Tm-Ts linear function, the new model can provide Tm at any site in two modes, one for the case with measured Ts provided, i.e., the accurate mode, the other for the case that Ts provided by a subroutine, i.e., the normal mode. The performance of GGTm-Ts model was assessed against the Bevis formula, GPT2w and GPT2wh model using different data sources in 2016-the GGOS atmosphere and radiosonde data. The results show that the GGTm-Ts model in accurate mode achieves best performance with an improvement of 46.9 %/15.3 %, 37.8 %/19.5 % and 34.4 %/14.2 % over other three models in the GGOS atmosphere/radiosonde comparison. For the normal mode, the GGTm-Ts model outperforms the GPT2w model and achieves equivalence results with the GPT2wh model. Benign childhood epilepsy with centrotemporal spikes (BECTS) is one of the most common childhood epilepsy syndromes and may be associated with language deficits. Resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) data were collected from a total of 78 children: 52 patients with BECTS (28 drug-naïve and 24 medicated) and 26 healthy controls (HC). Granger causality analysis (GCA) was used to investigate alterations in effective connectivity (EC) between the language network core node (Broca's area) and the whole brain. EC from Broca's area to the left Heschl's gyrus (HG), right putamen, and anterior cingulate cortex (ACC) was significantly increased, while EC from the bilateral putamen and left ACC to Broca's area was significantly decreased in BECTS. Moreover, altered EC of Broca's area to the right putamen was significantly positively correlated with verbal IQ (VIQ), while altered EC of Broca's area to the ACC showed significantly negative correlations with the frequency of seizures. Altered EC from the left putamen to Broca's area was also significantly negatively correlated with performance IQ (PIQ) and full-scale IQ (FSIQ) in the drug-naïve group. In addition, there was a significant positive correlation between the EC of Broca's area to the left HG and the number of seizures, as well as between the EC of Broca's area to the right putamen and the age at onset in the medicated group. These findings suggest abnormal causal effects on the language network related to Broca's area in children with BECTS. To improve the quality of track maintenance work, it is a desire to estimate vehicle dynamic behavior from track geometry irregularities. This paper proposes a deep learning model to predict vehicle responses (e.g., vertical wheel-rail forces, wheel unloading rate, and car body vertical acceleration) using deep learning techniques. In the proposed CA-CNN-MUSE model, convolutional neural networks (CNNs) are used to learn features of track irregularities, and multiscale self-attention mechanisms (MUSE) are employed to capture the long-term and short-term trends of sequences. Coordinate attention (CA) is introduced into CNN to focus on important interchannel relationships and important spatial mileage points. The experiments were performed on a multibody simulation model of the vehicle system and the measured data of the actual high-speed line. The results show that the CA-CNN-MUSE has high prediction accuracy for vertical vehicle responses and fast computation speed. The predicted time-domain waveforms and power spectral densities (PSDs) agree well with the actual vehicle responses. The variable noise spectrum for many actual application scenarios requires a sound absorber to adapt to this variation. An adjustable sound absorber of multiple parallel-connection Helmholtz resonators with tunable apertures (TA–MPCHRs) is prepared by the low-force stereolithography of photopolymer resin, which aims to improve the applicability of the proposed sound absorber for noise with various frequency ranges. The proposed TA–MPCHR metamaterial contains five metamaterial cells. Each metamaterial cell contains nine single Helmholtz resonators. It is treated as a basic structural unit for an array arrangement. The tunable aperture is realized by utilizing four segments of extendable cylindrical chambers with length l0, which indicates that the length of the aperture l is in the range of [l0, 4l0], and that it is tunable. With a certain group of specific parameters for the proposed TA–MPCHR, the influence of the tunable aperture with a variable length is investigated by acoustic finite element simulation with a two-dimensional rotational symmetric model. For the given noise spectrum of certain actual equipment with four operating modes, the TA–MPCHR sample with a limited total thickness of 40 mm is optimized, which is made of photopolymer resin by the low-force stereolithography, and its actual average sound absorption coefficients for the frequency ranges of 500–800 Hz, 550–900 Hz, 600–1000 Hz and 700–1150 Hz reach 0.9203, 0.9202, 0.9436 and 0.9561, respectively. Relative to common non-adjustable metamaterials, the TA–MPCHR made of photopolymer resin can reduce occupied space and improve absorption efficiency, which is favorable in promoting its practical applications in the noise pollution prevention. The febrile seizure (FS) is a common disease in emergency pediatrics, and about 30% of patients are children aged between 6 months and 5 years. Therefore, we aim to observe the protective impact of liraglutide (LIR) on brain injury in mice with FS and to explore its relevant mechanisms. Male SD mice were selected, and the FS model was established by heat bath method. The behavioral score was performed on mice with Racine grading, and nerve cells in apoptosis in the hippocampus were determined by TUNEL. The content of glutamate was determined by ELISA. mRNA levels and protein expression of GLP-1, GLP-1R, IL-1β, IL-6, TNF-α, and cleaved-caspase 3 were examined in mice by q-PCR and WB. Protein expression of γ-aminobutyric acid was influenced by WB as well. LIR prolonged the seizure latency and seizure duration in mice with FS. The GLP-1 and GLP-1R in the mouse hippocampus with FS expressed highly and also inhibited the number of nerve cells in apoptosis, decreased glutamate content, and increased γ-aminobutyric acid expression in the mouse hippocampus with FS. In addition, The IL-1β, IL-6, and TNF-α, in the mouse hippocampus with FS expressed to reduce with LIR. LIR is protective against brain injury in mice with FS and protects brain injury by inhibiting inflammatory factors in mice with FS. Long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) PMS2L2 has been reported to participate in endotoxin-induced inflammatory responses. As these types of responses can promote osteoarthritis (OA), it was of interest to ascertain if PMS2L2 may be involved in OA. To explore any potential participation of PMS2L2 in OA, synovial fluid was extracted from both OA patients and healthy controls (n = 62 each) and PMS2L2 expression of each sample determined by RT-qPCR. In addition, as miR-34a has a potential binding site on PMS2L2, hypothetical interactions between PMS2L2 and miR-34a in chondrocytes were analyzed by performing over-expression experiments. Furthermore, the role of PMS2L2 and miR-34a in the regulation of chondrocyte proliferation was analyzed using CCK-8 and BrdU assays. The results showed that PMS2L2 expression in OA patient synovial fluid was lower compared to that in control group fluid, and the extent of this reduction was related to disease stage. In in vitro studies, it was seen that endotoxin treatment of chondrocytes led to decreased PMS2L2 expression. It was found that PMS2L2 over-expression caused increased miR-34a expression in OA patient chondrocytes but not in cells from healthy controls. In contrast, miR-34a over-expression in either cell population did not affect PMS2L2 expression. Lastly, over-expression of both PMS2L2 and miR-34a led to inhibited chondrocyte proliferation. Of note, a combined over-expression of PMS2L2 and miR-34a resulted in stronger effects on proliferation compared to that from either single over-expression. Based on the findings that PMS2L2 is down-regulated during ongoing states of OA, and that changes in PMS2L2 expression can lead to increases in chondrocyte expression of miR-34a – resulting in inhibition of chondrocyte proliferation in OA. On the basis of the mice pressure ulcers (PU) model, the protective effect and potential mechanism of sodium Danshensu (SDSS) cream against PU were investigated. The mice were randomly divided into three groups: the negative control group (cream without 0.5 g SDSS), the SDSS group (cream containing 0.5 g SDSS), and the positive group (0.5 g Hirudoid®). After 7 and 14 days of ointment application, the wound-healing rate of the SDSS and positive groups was significantly higher than that of the control group (p < 0.05). The results of hematoxylin–eosin staining also indicated that SDSS has the potential to promote the healing of PU. In addition, the serum IL-6, IL-1β, TNF-α, and MDA levels decreased significantly (p < 0.01) after 14 days of SDSS treatment, while the SOD, CAT, and GSH-Px activities increased significantly (p < 0.01). In addition, SDSS cream was able to significantly increase the expression of Nrf2, HO-1, GCLM, NQO1, NF-κB p65, NF-κB p50, IKKα, and IKKβ while decreasing the expression of Keap1 and IκBαin the Nrf2/HO-1 and NF-κB pathways. Due to a short-time gap breakdown in electrical discharge machining (EDM), a high dynamic response and flexible discharge current control ability are required for a pulse power generator. Therefore, a one-cycle control(OCC) of output current for a buck-type EDM pulse power generator is proposed. Considering the inductor current operating state, a full-range OCC current control is presented, and the Taylor expansion method is used for the duty cycle calculation. A duty cycle optimization strategy is proposed for transient states. Based on the small signal modeling, the dynamic response ability of the system is analyzed. The discharge current can switch from many transient states to a steady state in a few switching cycles without a current overshoot, and follow the average current reference well in the steady state. The chemical corrosion aging of plutonium is a very important topic. It is easy to be corroded and produces oxidation products of various valence states because of its 5f electron orbit between local and non-local. On the one hand, the phase diagram of plutonium and oxygen is complex, so there is still not enough research on typical structural phases. On the other hand, most of the studies on plutonium oxide focus on PuO2 and Pu2O3 with stoichiometric ratio, while the understanding of non-stoichiometric ratio, especially for Pu2O3-x, is not deep enough. Based on this, using the DFT + U theoretical scheme of density functional theory, we have systematically studied the structural stability, lattice parameters, electronic structure, mechanical and optical properties of six typical high temperature phases of β -Pu2O3, α -Pu2O3, γ -Pu2O3, PuO, α -PuO2, γ -PuO2. Further, the mechanical properties and optical behavior of Pu2O3-x under different oxygen vacancy concentrations are analyzed and discussed in detail. The result shows that the elasticity modulus of single crystal in mechanical properties is directly related to the oxygen/plutonium ratio and crystal system. As the number of oxygen vacancies increases, the mechanical constants continue to increase. The mechanical properties of resin samples in low-force stereolithography additive manufacturing were affected by the printing orientation, and were investigated and optimized to achieve excellent single or comprehensive tensile strength, compressive strength, and flexural modulus. The resin samples were fabricated using a Form3 3D printer based on light curing technology according to the corresponding national standards, and they were detected using a universal testing machine to test their mechanical properties. The influence of the printing orientation was represented by the rotation angle of the resin samples relative to the x–axis, y–axis and z–axis, and the parameters was selected in the range 0°–90° with an interval of 30°. The multiple regression models for the mechanical properties of the prepared resin samples were obtained based on least square estimation, which offered a foundation from which to optimize the parameters of the printing orientation by cuckoo search algorithm. The optimal parameters for the tensile strength, compressive strength and flexural modulus were 'α = 45°, β = 25°, γ = 90°', 'β = 0°, β = 51°, γ = 85°' and 'α = 26°, β = 0°, γ = 90°', respectively, which obtained the improvements of 80.52%, 15.94%, and 48.85%, respectively, relative to the worst conditions. The mechanism was qualitatively discussed based on the force analysis. The achievements obtained in this study proved that optimization of the printing orientation could improve the mechanical properties of the fabricated sample, which provided a reference for all additive manufacturing methods. To achieve the broadband sound absorption at low frequencies within a limited space, an optimal design of joint simulation method incorporating the finite element simulation and cuckoo search algorithm was proposed. An acoustic metamaterial of multiple parallel hexagonal Helmholtz resonators with sub-wavelength dimensions was designed and optimized in this research. First, the initial geometric parameters of the investigated acoustic metamaterials were confirmed according to the actual noise reduction requirements to reduce the optimization burden and improve the optimization efficiency. Then, the acoustic metamaterial with the various depths of the necks was optimized by the joint simulation method, which combined the finite element simulation and the cuckoo search algorithm. The experimental sample was prepared using the 3D printer according to the obtained optimal parameters. The simulation results and experimental results exhibited excellent consistency. Compared with the derived sound absorption coefficients by theoretical modeling, those achieved in the finite element simulation were closer to the experimental results, which also verified the accuracy of this optimal design method. The results proved that the optimal design method was applicable to the achievement of broadband sound absorption with different low frequency ranges, which provided a novel method for the development and application of acoustic metamaterials. For the common difficulties of noise control in a low frequency region, an adjustable parallel Helmholtz acoustic metamaterial (APH-AM) was developed to gain broad sound absorption band by introducing multiple resonant chambers to enlarge the absorption bandwidth and tuning length of rear cavity for each chamber. Based on the coupling analysis of double resonators, the generation mechanism of broad sound absorption by adjusting the structural parameters was analyzed, which provided a foundation for the development of APH-AM with tunable chambers. Different from other optimization designs by theoretical modeling or finite element simulation, the adjustment of sound absorption performance for the proposed APH-AM could be directly conducted in transfer function tube measurement by changing the length of rear cavity for each chamber. According to optimization process of APH-AM, The target for all sound absorption coefficients above 0.9 was achieved in 602–1287 Hz with normal incidence and that for all sound absorption coefficients above 0.85 was obtained in 618–1482 Hz. The distributions of sound pressure for peak absorption frequency points were obtained in the finite element simulation, which could exhibit its sound absorption mechanism. Meanwhile, the sound absorption performance of the APH-AM with larger length of the aperture and that with smaller diameter of the aperture were discussed by finite element simulation, which could further show the potential of APH-AM in the low-frequency sound absorption. The proposed APH-AM could improve efficiency and accuracy in adjusting sound absorption performance purposefully, which would promote its practical application in low-frequency noise control. With the gradual improvement of Galileo and the opening of BDS-3 services, water vapor tomography based on multi-GNSS can be effectively carried out to reconstruct three-dimensional water vapor distribution. In this paper, experiments in Hong Kong were conducted to analyze and assess the performances of GPS, BDS, GLONASS, and Galileo and their combinations in water vapor tomography. Numerical results show that the number of available signal rays varies widely in the four satellite systems, and the value can be increased by the combination of satellite systems; the combinations also increase the number of voxels crossed by signal rays, but this value is not directly related to the number of available signal rays; the number and distribution of the voxels with sufficient signal rays, which most closely related to the structure of the tomographic model, show no obvious differences in the four satellite systems and their combinations. Comparative results of slant water vapor (SWV) estimated by GNSS data and water vapor density derived from radiosonde data reveal that the differences in the water vapor tomography of the four satellite systems are small, and their combinations have limited improvement in the tomographic results. The study of tractor ergonomics is both an essential part of public health and a very significant part of the scientific community's focus at the moment. It offers a foundation for the layout design of the tractor cab, making it possible to effectively avoid occupational diseases, minimize the number of safety accidents, and enhance the comfort of operation. Devices are categorized as control rod devices, knob-type devices, and steering wheels according to the various modes of operation of the tractor cab. Steering wheels are also included. The ease of handling of a number of different components was ranked according to how well they performed on the fast evaluation approach for the upper limbs. After that, in accordance with the concept that underpins this evaluation approach, the comfortable range of motion of human upper limb joints is evaluated while undergoing a variety of manipulation modalities. In conjunction with the structure of the human body and the characteristics of its movement, a streamlined point-line structure model of the human upper limb is constructed, with the H-point serving as the reference point. The problem of figuring out how to distribute the control components in the best possible way has been solved, and the optimal distribution range diagram of the steering wheel has been obtained. The ideal height for the distribution of control rod devices is around 300-400 millimeters, whereas the ideal height for the distribution of knob-type devices is approximately 200-500 millimeters. In conclusion, the cab design of the KAT2204 tractor is improved upon thanks to the analysis done in this study, which can be found above. Micropterus salmoides rhabdovirus (MSRV) is a primary viral pathogen in largemouth bass aquaculture, which leads to tremendous economic losses yearly. Currently, there are no approved drugs for the treatment and control of this virus. Our previous studies screened the herb Magnolia officinalis from many traditional Chinese medicines, and we isolated and identified magnolol as its main active compound against multiple rhabdoviruses, including MSRV. On the basis of the structure–activity relationship and pharmacophore model of magnolol, two new magnolol derivatives, namely, hydrogenated magnolol and 2,2′-dimethoxy-magnolol, were designed and synthesized. Their anti-MSRV activities were systematically investigated both in vitro and in vivo. By comparing the half-maximal inhibitory concentration (IC50), it was found that hydrogenated magnolol possessed a higher anti-MSRV activity than magnolol and 2,2′-dimethoxy-magnolol, with an IC50 of 13.37 μM. Furthermore, hydrogenated magnolol exhibited a protective effect on the grass carp ovary (GCO) cell line by reducing the cytopathic effect induced by MSRV. Further studies revealed that hydrogenated magnolol did not directly impact virions or interfere with MSRV adsorption. It worked within the 6–8 h of the phase of virus replication. In vivo treatment of MSRV infection with magnolol and hydrogenated magnolol showed that they significantly improved the survival rate by 44.6% and 62.7%, respectively, compared to MSRV-infected groups. The viral load measured by the expression of viral glycoprotein in the organs including the liver, spleen, and kidney also significantly decreased when fish were intraperitoneally injected at a dose of 20 mg/kg. Altogether, the structural optimization of magnolol via hydrogenation of the propylene groups increased its anti-MSRV activity both in vitro and in vivo. A liquid metal functionalized, glycerol modified hydrogel composite is developed for enhanced solar steam generation and thermoelectric conversion. Solar-driven interfacial evaporation (SDIE) holds great potential in alleviating global freshwater scarcity, which requires the design of efficient energy conversion devices. Herein, a quadruply engineered hydrogel-based evaporator is developed based on multipath regulation of the four key processes involved in SDIE, i.e. , heat generation, energy utilization, water transportation, and evaporation. Surface-tailored liquid metal nanoparticles (EGaIn@Ag NPs) with a high photothermal conversion efficiency (PCE) of 30.4 % serve as the nanofiller to produce heat efficiently. Vertically aligned microchannels are constructed in the poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) hydrogel through directional freezing to accelerate water transportation. Glycerol is introduced to the PVA matrix to synergistically a) prevent heat loss from the interface to bulk water, and b) modulate the bonding state of water in the hydrogel to reduce the vaporization enthalpy. Such an elaborate design achieves a rather high evaporation rate of 3.26 kg m−2h−1 under 1 sun illumination. The hydrogel evaporator (EGaIn@Ag/PVAG) is applicable in treating real seawater and dye-contaminated sewages, showing favorable desalination durability and self-cleaning property. The synergistic design also imparts the hydrogel with thermoelectric power generation capabilities. Due to the lack of scientific guidance, most migratory beekeepers currently arrange their migratory beekeeping routes by experience. The production mode is extensive, and the quality and efficiency need to be improved. Therefore, this study investigates a dynamic migratory route recommendation problem considering the stochastic yield of nectar sources and uncertain disastrous weather events, by which the beekeeper can dynamically follow the practical and effective recommended route to cope with production risk to reach a better revenue. To this end, the problem is first formulated as a Markov decision process considering various flowering durations of nectar sources, migration costs and time, the prices of bee products, and, most importantly, uncertain yields. Then, an approximate dynamic programming algorithm incorporated with offline and online learning procedures is proposed to deal with the curse of dimensionality. Several acceleration methods are also provided to solve the problem more efficiently. The conducted numerical study shows that the proposed model and algorithm perform well in approximation precise and computational efficiency. Finally, the computational results show that the proposed migratory beekeeping route recommendation method effectively deals with yield uncertainty and significantly improves the migratory beekeeping revenue. [Display omitted] Black phosphorene (BlackP) with low diffusion barriers has been extensively researched as one of the new Li-ion batteries (LIBs) anode materials. Nevertheless, the poor mechanical properties and elastic stiffness of BlackP obviously limit its practical application. Thus, owing to the excellent mechanical properties and good elastic stiffness exhibited by Graphdiyne (GDY), the BlackP/GDY Van der Waals (vdW) heterostructure was investigated in our study to overcome those disadvantages on the basis of the density functional theory (DFT). Our results suggest that the BlackP/GDY vdW heterostructure has favorable mechanical properties and high thermodynamic stability with a small lattice mismatch, which is owing to the synergistic effect existed in BlackP and GDY. Besides, the adsorption energy of Li adsorption on the BlackP/GDY vdW heterostructure evidently enhanced along with the changing of the heterostructure from semiconductor to metallic. Moreover, the maximum theoretical storage capacity (384.703 mA h/g) of the BlackP/GDY vdW heterostructure is larger than that of Graphite (372 mA h/g). Above all, the minimum diffusion barrier (0.083 eV) is extremely low, which is vital for achieving ultrafast charge and discharge rates. The wear resistance of gear components significantly influences operational reliability and lifespan of mechanical equipment. Compared with nanosecond time scale laser surface treatment, femtosecond laser shock peening (FLSP) has the advantage of no absorption layer and constraint layer in processing complex geometric structure parts. However, attempts at FLSP for gear materials are quite limited up to now. This paper introduces a methodology employing Pulsed FLSP to enhance the wear resistance of AISI 9310 gear steel. The research delves into the effects of FLSP on the surface morphology, mechanical characteristics, and wear performance of AISI 9310 steel under varying laser energy levels (50 μJ, 100 μJ, 150 μJ, 200 μJ) and pulse spacings (10 μm, 15 μm, 30 μm). The findings reveal that femtosecond laser surface treatment significantly augmented surface microhardness by 9.4 % to 17.4 % and induced a surge in surface residual compressive stress (RCS) by 30.5 % to 103.1 %. Moreover, it introduced a work hardening layer of 150–300 μm in depth direction, resulting in a wear rate reduction ranging from 10.1 % to 61.7 %. The sample treated with 15 μm pulse spacing and 150 μJ laser energy exhibited simultaneously the lowest wear rate and a minimum average coefficient of friction (COF) on 0.47. The advancement in wear resistance is attributed to the synergistic effects of markedly increased surface hardness, gradient hardness in depth direction, and reduced grain size induced by FLSP. Background: The carriers of damaging heterozygous variants in interferon regulatory factor 2 binding protein-like (IRF2BPL), encoding a member of the IRF2BP family of transcriptional regulators, may be affected by a variety of neurological symptoms, such as neurodevelopmental regression, language and motor developmental delay, seizures, progressive ataxia and a lack of coordination, and even dystonia. Case presentation: We report a Chinese boy who presented with dystonia, dysarthria, and normal development due to nonsense IRF2BPL mutation, with intact imaging and EEG findings but without developmental delays or seizures. Whole-exome sequencing revealed a novel nonsense variant IRF2BPL (NM_024496) Exon C.562C > T (p.Arg188*). Conclusion: This case report presents a Chinese boy with a novel nonsense variant in IRF2BPL, displaying rapid progressive dystonia and dysarthria, without early developmental delay or epilepsy; expands the IRF2BPL phenotypes in the Chinese population; and raises awareness of patients with IRF2BPL. To solve the problems of great difficulty and low accuracy in the evaluation of physical education teaching results, an evaluation method of physical education teaching and training quality based on deep learning is proposed. The evaluation index system is constructed based on the teaching content, teaching attitude, teaching content, teaching method, and teaching effects that affect the teaching quality. After the influence factors of each index are quantified, the resolution coefficient of the index is dynamically taken, the index correlation relationship based on weight is established, and the score distribution and score progress are taken as the evaluation results. The test results show that the correlation coefficient between the evaluation result of the design method and the actual results is 0.9430, and the evaluation accuracy is 94.73%. Acoustic metamaterials based on Helmholtz resonance have perfect sound absorption characteristics with the subwavelength size, but the absorption bandwidth is narrow, which limits the practical applications for noise control with broadband. On the basis of the Fabry–Perot resonance principle, a novel sound absorber of the acoustic metamaterial by parallel connection of the multiple spiral chambers (abbreviated as MSC-AM) is proposed and investigated in this research. Through the theoretical modeling, finite element simulation, sample preparation and experimental validation, the effectiveness and practicability of the MSC-AM are verified. Actual sound absorption coefficients of the MSC-AM in the frequency range of 360–680 Hz (with the bandwidth Δf1 = 320 Hz) are larger than 0.8, which exhibit the extraordinarily low-frequency sound absorption performance. Moreover, actual sound absorption coefficients are above 0.5 in the 350–1600 Hz range (with a bandwidth Δf2 = 1250 Hz), which achieve broadband sound absorption in the low–middle frequency range. According to various actual demands, the structural parameters can be adjusted flexibly to realize the customization of sound absorption bandwidth, which provides a novel way to design and improve acoustic metamaterials to reduce the noise with various frequency bands and has promising prospects of application in low-frequency sound absorption. Online car-hailing services have become an integral part of people's daily travel in China. Considering that young people are the major consumer group in car purchases, it is worth investigating how the experience of online car-hailing services affects their intention to purchase a car. Based on the extended theory of Planned Behavior, this study found that the factors that negatively impact the car purchase intention of the youth are firstly the public transportation service quality, followed by the risks of private cars, and finally the online car-hailing services quality. Elevating the convenience and comfort of public transportation is conducive to reducing car purchasing intention. The indirect effect of online car-hailing services on car purchase intention is greater than its direct effect, and the most important factor is attitude. The car purchase intention is significantly heterogeneous across age and annual household income groups. Improving the convenience of public transportation will reduce the car purchase intention of people in the early youth. For middle and later youth, providing demand-responsive transit for important individuals to meet their diverse needs can reduce car purchase intention. As for online car-hailing services, youth care most about their convenience and comfort and worry most about their safety.
