This article discusses the management of refractory or relapsed classic Hodgkin lymphoma (CHL) in Brazil. CHL is the most frequent cancer in adolescents and the most frequent lymphoma in adolescents and young adults. While frontline chemotherapy is generally effective, approximately 10-15% of patients have refractory disease. Traditionally, salvage chemotherapy followed by high-dose chemotherapy and autologous stem-cell transplantation has been the standard treatment for refractory or relapsed CHL.
