Due to the rapid growth in sensor technology and embedded technology, wireless body area network WBANs plays a vital role in monitoring the human body system and the surrounding environment. It supports many healthcare applications on the one hand and are very much help full in pandemic scenarios. It has become the most innovative health care area, which is intriguing to many researchers because of its vast future prospective and potential. Data collected by different wireless sensors or nodes is very personal, critical, and important because of human life involvement. WBANs can minimize human to human contact, which helps stop the spread of severe infectious diseases. The biggest concern is the maintenance of privacy and accuracy of data is still a hot area of research due to nature of attacks, which are changing day by day and increasing, as well as for the sake of better performance. A suitable security mechanism is a way to address above issues, for achieving data security, it is expedient to propose a mechanism. It is essential to update the patient’s regular data. WBANs help to deliver truthful reports related to the patient’s health regularly and individually. This paper proposes an algorithm that shows a better result than the existing algorithm in their previous works. This work is all about proposing a mechanism which needs comparatively less resource. Only authentic entities can interact with the server, which has become obligatory for both sides, keeping data safe. Several authentication schemes have been proposed or discussed by different researchers. This paper has proposed a Secure and Efficient WBANs Authentication Mechanism (SEAM). This security framework will take care of the authentication and the security of transmitted data.

In this paper, we propose a frequency domain data hiding method for the JPEG compressed images. The proposed method embeds data in the DCT coefficients of the selected 8 × 8 blocks. According to the theories of Human Visual Systems (HVS), human vision is less sensitive to perturbation of pixel values in the uneven areas of the image. In this paper we propose a Singular Value Decomposition based image roughness measure (SVD-IRM) using which we select the coarse 8 × 8 blocks as data embedding destinations. Moreover, to make the embedded data more robust against re-compression attack and error due to transmission over noisy channels, we employ Turbo error correcting codes. The actual data embedding is done using a proposed variant of matrix encoding that is capable of embedding three bits by modifying only one bit in block of seven carrier features. We have carried out experiments to validate the performance and it is found that the proposed method achieves better payload capacity and visual quality and is more robust than some of the recent state-of-the-art methods proposed in the literature.

Human communication is not limited to verbal speech but is infinitely more complex, involving many non-verbal cues such as facial emotions and body language. This paper aims to quantitatively show the impact of non-verbal cues, with primary focus on facial emotions, on the results of multi-modal sentiment analysis. The paper works with a dataset of Spanish video reviews. The audio is available as Spanish text and is translated to English while visual features are extracted from the videos. Multiple classification models are made to analyze the sentiments at each modal stage i.e. for the Spanish and English textual datasets as well as the datasets obtained upon coalescing the English and Spanish textual data with the corresponding visual cues. The results show that the analysis of Spanish textual features combined with the visual features outperforms its English counterpart with the highest accuracy difference, thereby indicating an inherent correlation between the Spanish visual cues and Spanish text which is lost upon translation to English text.

Then, it introduces the application of scenarios and the blockchain deposit and traceability in various fields. Next, it discusses the issues existing in the development of the application of blockchain deposit and traceability. Finally, the paper also expresses the best wishes for the future of its application.

PuyoPuyo is one of the Tetris-type games, which is dealt with as a single-player game in this paper. The player has a winning strategy if the player can keep playing the game infinitely on a gameboard of a constant height. In this paper, we consider how lookahead of input pieces affects the existence of winning strategies in PuyoPuyo, and show conditions that the player cannot win even with lookahead. First, we show the number of colors sufficient to make the player lose on the gameboard of width w when the number of lookahead pieces is m. Next, we show that ten and twenty-six colors are sufficient to make the player lose on the gameboards of width two and three, respectively, no matter how large the number of lookahead pieces is.

Aiming at the problem of high cost in cold chain logistics of fresh products home-delivery in supermarket chain in the new retail era, the paper constructs the model of Location Inventory Routing Problem (LIRP) optimization in Satellite Warehouse mode in view of customer satisfaction with the broken line soft time windows. The model minimizes the total cost of the cold chain logistics system of supermarket chain through the location allocation, inventory optimization, the determination of distribution service relationship between Satellite Warehouse and customer, and the constraint of time penalty cost. Then, the paper designed an improved ant colony optimization to solve the LIRP model of supermarket chain. Finally, the simulation in MATLAB verifies and analyzes the validity of the model and algorithm. Therefore, LIRP optimization model in Satellite Warehouse mode can effectively improve the operational efficiency of fresh products home-delivery in the supermarket chain and thus reduce the logistics cost.

In order to better meet customer needs and respond to market demands more quickly, mounting number of manufacturing companies have begun to bid farewell to the traditional unitary manufacturing model. The collaborative manufacturing model has become a widely adopted manufacturing model for manufacturing companies. Aiming at the problem of partner selection for collaborative manufacturing of complex products in a collaborative supply chain environment, this paper proposes a multi-objective decision-making model that comprehensively considers the maximization of the matching degree of manufacturing capacity and the profits of supply chain, and gives the modeling process and application steps in detail. The method first uses fuzzy theory to evaluate the manufacturing capabilities of candidate collaborative manufacturing partners. Secondly, Vector Space Model (VSM) is used to calculate the matching degree of manufacturing capacity and manufacturing demand. Then, the paper studied the profit of the supply chain under the “non-cooperative” mechanism and the “revenue sharing” mechanism. Furthermore, the decision-making model is established. Finally, a simulation was carried out by taking complex product manufacturing of Gree enterprise as an example. The research results show the feasibility and effectiveness of the method.

As a new business model, crowdsourcing innovation is widely used for enterprises to complete innovation tasks by the external crowds. The enterprises, the external crowds, and the crowdsourcing platform make an alliance and co-create value to achieve the multi-win goal. Based on the operation process analysis of the third-party platform crowdsourcing innovation model, this paper proposes that the essence of crowdsourcing innovation is the value co-creation of multi-agent participation. Based on grounded theory, this paper constructs the theoretical model of the realization mechanism of multi-agent participation value co-creation in crowdsourcing innovation from the three parties’ perspective. This research finds that value co-creation factors include six factors: task attributes, incentive mechanisms, trust mechanisms, the platform supports, participation motivation, and diversities. The process of value co-creation includes resource integration and interaction. The results of value co-creation include three elements: innovation value, knowledge value, and relationship value.

The internal combustion power equipment is a typical cyber-physical system (CPS). The traditional design method is to separate the information system from the physical system, and then to simulate and optimize separately every system. That can not achieve the best performance. Aiming at the internal combustion power equipment with multi-disciplinary deep integration, this paper establishes the multi-disciplinary model of the whole and key components based on Dymola software. There are mainly mechanical system, combustion system, cooling system, control system and other simulation models, including deceleration and fuel cut-off control unit modeling, start-stop control unit modeling and speed limit control unit modeling. The performance of each model is simulated and analyzed. The mathematical models of engine characteristic curve and fuel supply rate curve are established through experimental study. Finally, taking the simulation model of automobile power system as an example, the simulation calculation and experimental verification are carried out, and the relationship among fuel supply rate, torque, speed and valve of internal combustion engine is obtained, as well as the cooling capacity of the cooling system is studied. The experimental results show that the maximum error between the simulation speed curve and the actual speed curve is within ± 2 km/h. The research results of this paper can provide theoretical basis for multidisciplinary modeling and simulation of internal combustion power equipment, and also provide technical support for performance analysis of internal combustion engine.

Stored-grain temperature is the most important factor in grain storage. According to the measured data, the temperature in the grain pile can be effectively predicted, which can find problems in advance, reduce grain loss and increase grain quality. Long Short-Term memory (LSTM) can perform better in longer sequences than ordinary RNN. This paper is applied to the analysis of big data of grain storage and the early warning of grain storage temperature. In this paper, the selected LSTM is optimized and the early warning model of grain situation is established, and the analysis steps of the early warning model are given. In order to verify the availability of the improved LSTM network structure, RNN and three variants were used to predict the grain temperature under the same conditions, the prediction effect of the improved CLSTM is better.

The stability and control of nonlinear time-delay systems of Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy model are studied in this paper. The integral inequality of a free weight matrix is chosen to give a less conservative delay-dependent stability criterion in the form of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). The premise mismatch strategy is applied, it is combined with Finsler lemma, a more flexible design method of fuzzy state feedback controller is proposed. This method does not require the controller and system to share the common premise membership function and the number of rules. The controller design strategy proposed in this paper can effectively solve the control problem of fuzzy systems when the number of state variables is not equal to the number of input variables (r≠c), or mi⁢(x⁢(t))≠hi⁢(x⁢(t)),i=1,2,…,r. Finally, two simulation examples are given to prove the advancement and effectiveness of the proposed theory.

A finite element model (FEM) of the bracket arm of wrecker is developed and the mechanical behavior under six representative conditions is studied in this paper. Stress test experiment is carried out to validate the presented FEM. Comparison analyses show that results predicted from the FEM are in good agreement with those obtained from the test experiment. Moreover, the mechanical behavior analyses also give the danger working conditions for each component of the bracket arm. Based on the stress distributions under the danger working condition, structural improvement is conducted for the component which is prone to material failure. Mechanical behavior analyses of the improved structures are also carried out in this paper. Numerical analysis results show that the maximum stresses of each improved component of the bracket arm are all reduced to close or below the allowable stress. This indicted that the load bearing capacities of each component are improved effectively and meet the requirements of engineering applications.

Taking Uyghur character recognition as an example, this paper use a method of image segmentation which combines traditional methods with CNN, and transforms and implements the Uyghur character on intelligent devices. Firstly, after analyzing the application of several general segmentation methods, this paper finds some shortcomings but also some ideas for Uighur segmentation. Then, starting from the characteristics of Uyghur language, such as structure, word formation and input habits, the author studies the idea of Uyghur adhesive language segmentation from the perspective of language characteristics, puts forward the basic algorithm of Uyghur symbol segmentation, and applies the Uyghur character adhesion segmentation based on minimum spanning tree and multi-queue primitive merging model to improve the segmentation efficiency. In addition, in order to solve the limitations of the traditional handwriting recognition framework of “preprocessing + feature extraction + classifier”, this paper puts forward a new solution of Uyghur handwriting recognition technology combining prior domain knowledge with CNN, constructs a Uyghur handwriting recognition model on the basis of CNN and random elastic deformation, and also improves the recognition rate of the system by combining domain knowledge with CNN. According to the experimental results, we can conclude that the mixed method proposed in this paper can effectively break the technical bottleneck of traditional methods, thus improving the efficiency of segmentation and recognition.

With the development of the Intelligent Transportation System, various distributed sensors (including GPS, radar, infrared sensors) process massive data and make decisions for emergencies. Federated learning is a new distributed machine learning paradigm, in which system heterogeneity is the difficulty of fairness design. This paper designs a system heterogeneous fair federated learning algorithm (SHFF). SHFF introduces the equipment influence factor I into the optimization target and dynamically adjusts the equipment proportion with other performance. By changing the global fairness parameter θ, the algorithm can control fairness according to the actual needs. Experimental results show that, compared with the popular q-FedAvg algorithm, the SHFF algorithm proposed in this paper improves the average accuracy of the Worst 10% by 26% and reduces the variance by 61%.

As the internal requirement of the development of China’s traditional manufacturing industry, intelligent transformation has gradually become the main goal of China’s regional manufacturing transformation. From the perspective of manufacturing value chain, this paper proposes a conceptual model of intelligent transformation of manufacturing industry. Taking 22 sample cities as cases, the paper uses fuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis method to identify the necessary factors of intelligent transformation of manufacturing industry and the configuration analysis of each factor combination, and then obtains three realization paths to promote intelligent transformation. The results show that intelligent technology innovation and intelligent industry investment are the necessary conditions for the intelligent transformation of manufacturing industry, and there are three configuration paths: collaborative R&D and processing, external factor driven and value chain climbing, which promote the intelligent transformation of manufacturing industry. This paper enriches the research on intelligent transformation of manufacturing industry from the perspective of value chain, and uses the qualitative comparative analysis method of fuzzy set to provide countermeasures and suggestions for the direction and path of intelligent transformation of manufacturing industry.

As the current society is increasingly facing major challenges from extremism and terrorism, protecting key urban public facilities and important targets from destruction is an important challenge facing the security departments of all countries. Based on real scene, this paper conducts researches on anti-terrorism security game algorithms and emergency response models in response to the three key links of before, during and after terrorist attacks. First of all, this paper constructs a multi-round joint attack game and emergency response model based on cooperation, establishes the optimization problem of solving the defender’s optimal strategy in mathematical form, and then obtains the optimal defense strategy. Secondly, in response to the fact that terrorists are not completely rational, a new hybrid model is constructed to propose an efficient allocation and scheduling algorithm for safe resources in response to terrorist attacks. Thirdly, a model of crowd evacuation strategy after a terrorist attack is built based on the problem of crowd evacuation in multiple rounds of premeditated cooperative attacks. Finally, taking the area of the first ring of a certain city as a real scene, a complete game system of the whole process is constructed, and the game effectiveness evaluation of the existing security resource allocation scheme in the first ring area is carried out. Through the research of this thesis, the author puts forward some new technical ideas for the current society’s anti-terrorism governance, and hopes to provide some technical references for the decision-making of security agencies.

If robot uses 2D lidar or binocular camera to locate obstacles, there will be some problems such as missing obstacle information or inaccurate obstacle locating, which will affect the normal work of the robot. In order to obtain accurate 3D obstacle information, this paper proposes an algorithm for fusing 2D lidar and binocular vision to complete the obstacle location. In this paper, the depth value of the 2D lidar point cloud is used as a benchmark. By fitting the error equation of the binocular camera point cloud depth value, the depth value of the camera point cloud is modified to obtain an accurate 3D camera point cloud, thereby obtaining an accurate 3D obstacle information. Many experiments have proved that the fusion algorithm of 2D lidar and binocular vision can obtain accurate 3D obstacle information. The method of fusion 2D lidar and binocular vision can approximately achieve the measurement effect of 3D lidar, and the point cloud of obstacles is relatively dense, so the accurate 3D obstacle information can be obtained. This method can reduce the influence of single sensor on the robot locating obstacles, thus completing the accurate locating of obstacles, which is of certain significance to robot navigation.

Water resources is an important basic energy. The determination of weights is one of the important indexes in water resources evaluation system and reasonable allocation of weights is the key to quantitative evaluation. In order to establish a scientific evaluation index system of the influence of mining disturbance on water resources for purpose of a more reliable and effective evaluation result and realizing the protection of water resources system, a comprehensive evaluation system of water resources based on PSO-AHP model is proposed in the paper. Combined with the specific geological environment characteristics of mines, this paper establishes a four-level evaluation index system after identifying the factors affecting water resources and ecological environment. By applying the particle swarm optimization (PSO) to the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, a PSO-AHP model and then a fitness function are constructed to solve and optimize the weight values in the evaluation index system, and the calculated weight values are checked by consistency checking method. The evaluation results suggest that the index system can accurately reflect the impact of mining on water resources and water ecological environment and etc., providing certain reference value for sewage resourcing and reducing the harmful effect on environment by sewage discharge.

In the production process of lithium battery, the quality inspection requirements of lithium battery are very high. At present, most of the work is done manually. Aiming at the problem of large manual inspection workload and large error, the robot visual inspection technology is applied to the production of lithium battery. In recent years, with the rapid development and progress of science and technology, the rapid development of visual detection hardware and algorithms, making it possible to screen defective products through visual detection algorithms. This paper takes lithium battery as the research object, and studies its vision detection algorithm. As a common commodity, the quality of lithium battery is the key for users to choose. With the increasing requirements of users for battery quality, how to produce high-quality battery is the key problem to be solved by manufacturers. However, at present, the defects of battery surface are mostly carried out manually. There are low efficiency and low detection rate in the process of manual detection. In this paper, the visual detection algorithm is studied to detect the defects such as pits, rust marks and broken skin on the surface of lithium battery, specifically to design the imaging experimental platform of lithium battery; use different lighting schemes to design different battery positioning and extraction algorithms; use Hough detection method to locate the battery surface, and design the battery defect algorithm for this, and compare the algorithm through experiments.

In server clusters, the static scheduling algorithm has superior performance when the user visits are relatively stable. In the face of sudden increase in user traffic, the dynamic scheduling algorithm has a better load balancing effect than the static scheduling algorithm. However, in the face of complex network environments, the static scheduling algorithm cannot adjust the load according to the performance of the server in real time. The dynamic scheduling algorithm using a single weight to evaluate server performance is unreliable, and load scheduling with reference to the number of connections has uncertainty. In view of this problem, this paper proposes a cluster load balancing algorithm based on dynamic consistent hash based on the study of load balancing based on LVS clusters. By analyzing the performance and load parameters, we divide the request process into in-cycle and out-of-cycle. By setting up the LVS cluster system, the performance weights, load parameters, number of virtual nodes and cycles of the algorithm in this paper are determined experimentally. Finally, the response time and throughput of the algorithm in this paper are compared with the WRR algorithm and WLC algorithm. The results show that the time and throughput of this algorithm are better than WRR algorithm and WLC algorithm.

In the deep learning-based video action recognitio, the function of the neural network is to acquire spatial information, motion information, and the associated information of the above two kinds of information over an uneven time span. This paper puts forward a network extracting video sequence semantic information based on deep integration of local Spatial-Temporal information. The network uses 2D Convolutional Neural Network (2DCNN) and Multi Spatial-Temporal scale 3D Convolutional Neural Network (MST_3DCNN) respectively to extract spatial information and motion information. Spatial information and motion information of the same time quantum receive 3D convolutional integration to generate the temporary Spatial-Temporal information of a certain moment. Then, the Spatial-Temporal information of multiple single moments enters Temporal Pyramid Net (TPN) to generate the local Spatial-Temporal information of multiple time scales. Finally, bidirectional recurrent neutral network is used to act on the Spatial-Temporal information of all parts so as to acquire the context information spanning the length of the entire video, which endows the network with video context information extraction capability. Through the experiments on the three video action recognitio common experimental data sets UCF101, UCF11, UCFSports, the Spatial-Temporal information deep fusion network proposed in this paper has a high correct recognition rate in the task of video action recognitio.

Considering the scarcity of Uyghur sentiment resources, in this paper proposed a new combined unsupervised sentiment classification method for Uyghur text without any labeled corpora. In the first part, a Uyghur sentiment dictionary, UYSentiDict, was adopted to classify the sentences. For the sentiment vocabulary matching, both the matching of the original word and the stem were considered, and the influence of sentence patterns, negation words, and degree adverbs were further considered as well. Based on different thresholds, the sentences with higher sentiment values were selected from the lexicon-based classification results as a pseudo-labeled dataset. In the second part, different sentiment characteristics were learned from the pseudo-labeled dataset by the machine learning classifier, and the remaining categorical data were further classified. It can be concluded that the method proposed in this paper has good classification efficiency in Uyghur sentiment corpora in four different fields, and some results were performed better than the classification results of machine learning classifier. Moreover, this method is not restricted by the field of data and does not need to be marked in advance with good training corpus, and can solve the resource shortage problem in the field of Uyghur sentiment classification effectively.

A novel method of mirror motion recognition by rehabilitation robot with multi-channels sEMG signals is proposed, aiming to help the stroked patients to complete rehabilitation training movement. Firstly the bilateral mirror training is used and the model of muscle synergy with basic sEMG signals is established. Secondly, the constrained L1/2-NMF is used to extracted the main sEMG signals information which can also reduce the limb movement characteristics. Finally the relationship between sEMG signal characteristics and upper limb movement is described by TSSVD-ELM and it is applied to improve the model stability. The validity and feasibility of the proposed strategy are verified by the experiments in this paper, and the rehabilitation robot can move with the mirror upper limb. By comparing the method proposed in this paper with PCA and full-action feature extraction, it is confirmed that convergence speed is faster; the feature extraction accuracy is higher which can be used in rehabilitation robot systems.

At present, the issue of air quality in populated urban areas is recognized as an environmental crisis. Air pollution affects the sustainability of the city. In controlling air pollution and protecting its hazards from humans, air quality data are very important. However, the costs of constructing and maintaining air quality registration infrastructure are very expensive and high, and air quality data recording at one point will not be generalizable to even a few kilometers. Some of the gains come from the integration of multiple data sources, which can never be achieved through independent single-source processing. Urban organizations in each city independently produce and record data relevant to the organization’s goals and objectives. These issues create separate data silos associated with an urban system. These data are varied in model and structure, and the integration of such data provides an appropriate opportunity to discover knowledge that can be useful in urban planning and decision making. This paper aims to show the generality of our previous research, which proposed a novel model to predict Particulate Matter (PM) as the main factor of air quality in the regions of the cities where air quality sensors are not available through urban big data resources integration, by extending the model and experiments with various configuration for different settings in smart cities. This work extends the evaluation scenarios of the model with the extended dataset of city of Aarhus, in Denmark, and compare the model performance against various specified baselines. Details of removing the heterogeneity of multiple data sources in the Multiple Data Set Aggregator & Heterogeneity Remover (MDA&HR) and improving the operation of Train Data Splitter (TDS) part of the model by focusing on the finding more similar pattern of air quality also are presented in this paper. The acceptable accuracy of the results shows the generality of the model.

Influence maximization is a classic network optimization problem, which has been widely used in the field of viral marketing. The influence maximization problem aims to find a fixed number of active nodes. After a specific propagation model, the number of active nodes reaches the maximum. However, the existing influence maximization algorithms are overly pursuing certain indicators of efficiency or accuracy, which cannot be well accepted by some researchers. This paper proposes an effective algorithm to balance the accuracy and efficiency of the influence maximization problem called local two-hop search algorithm (LTHS). The core of the proposed algorithm is a node not only be affected by one-hop neighbor nodes, but also by two-hop neighbor nodes. Firstly, this paper selects initial seed nodes according to the characteristics of the node degree. Generally, the high degree of nodes regards as influential nodes. Secondly, this paper proposes a node two-hop influence evaluate function called two-hop diffusion value (THDV), which can evaluate node influence more accurately. Furthermore, in order to seek higher efficiency, this paper proposes a method to reduce the network scale. This paper conducted full experiments on five real-world social network datasets, and compared with other four well-known algorithms. The experimental results show that the LTHS algorithm is better than the comparison algorithms in terms of efficiency and accuracy.

The problem of initialization of active learning is considered in this paper. Especially, this paper studies the problem in an imbalanced data scenario, which is called as class-imbalance active learning cold-start. The novel method is two-stage clustering-based active learning cold-start (ALCS). In the first stage, to separate the instances of minority class from that of majority class, a multi-center clustering is constructed based on a new inter-cluster tightness measure, thus the data is grouped into multiple clusters. Then, in the second stage, the initial training instances are selected from each cluster based on an adaptive candidate representative instances determination mechanism and a clusters-cyclic instance query mechanism. The comprehensive experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method from the aspects of class coverage, classification performance, and impact on active learning.

In recent years, the problem of complex multi-attribute group decision-making (MAGDM) in uncertain environments has received increasing attention. In evaluating MAGDM problems, obtaining the objective attribute weights is very important. Considering the excellent performance of intuitive fuzzy linguistic sets in dealing with uncertain information, this paper introduces a new interval-valued intuitionistic pure linguistic entropy weight (IVIPLEW) method for determining attribute weights and evaluating MAGDM problems. The IVIPLEW method considers the cases of missing values, and uses the conventional interval-valued intuitionistic pure linguistic (IVIPL) expectations to supplement the missing values. This method of dealing with missing values not only considers the expectations of experts, but also prevents fluctuations in linguistic variables from impacting the decision results. This paper establishes an analysis framework that allows the IVIPLEW method to be applied to MAGDM problems, and presents a practical case study that illustrates the practicality and effectiveness of IVIPLEW. The results are quite satisfactory. The effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated through a comparison with the IVIPL information aggregation method. Furthermore, the robustness of the IVIPLEW method is verified through a sensitivity analysis. The results presented in this paper show that the IVIPLEW method is applicable to a wide range of MAGDM problems.

A normal wiggly hesitant fuzzy set is a very useful tool to mine the potential uncertain information given by decision makers, which is considered as an extension of hesitant fuzzy set and can improve the effectiveness of decision making. Power average operator can relieve the impact on decision result of unreasonable data, and the generalized Maclaurin symmetric mean operator (GMSM) is an extension of Maclaurin symmetric mean operator with wider range of applications, which can consider the relationship among decision attributes. By integrating the advantages of them, in this paper, we develop the normal wiggly hesitant fuzzy power GMSM (NWHFPGMSM) operator and its weighted form based on the distance measure of two normal wiggly hesitant fuzzy elements, then we further discuss their properties and some special cases. Thus, a new multi-attribute decision making method based on the NWHFPGMSM operator under normal wiggly hesitant fuzzy environment is proposed. Finally, we select some examples to illustrate the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed method in this paper through comparison and analysis with other methods.

To enable a quick and accurate access of targeted scientific and technological literature from massive stocks, here a deep content-based collaborative filtering method, namely DeepCCF, for personalized scientific and technological literature resources recommendation was proposed. By combining content-based filtering (CBF) and neural network-based collaborative filtering (NCF), the approach transforms the problem of scientific and technological literature recommendation into a binary classification task. Firstly, the word2vec is used to train the words embedding of the papers’ titles and abstracts. Secondly, an academic literature topic model is built using term frequency–inverse document frequency (TF-IDF) and word embedding. Thirdly, the search and view history and published papers of researchers are utilized to construct the model that portrays the interests of researchers. Deep neural networks (DNNs) are then used to learn the nonlinear and complicated high-order interaction features between users and papers, and the top k recommendation list is generated by predicting the outputs of the model. The experimental results show that our proposed method can quickly and accurately capture the latent relations between the interests of researchers and the topics of paper, and be able to acquire the researchers’ preferences effectively as well. The proposed method has tremendous implications in personalized academic paper recommendation, to propel technological progress.

In the task of Person re-identification (reID), the range of motion of pedestrians often spans multiple camera areas, and their motion direction and behavior cannot be constrained, and irrelevant people or objects in different scenes will also obtain target pedestrian information for us Cause interference. At the same time, the surveillance system also has many characteristics such as a fixed shooting angle of a single camera, different angles between different cameras, and low image resolution. These characteristics make the task of Person re-identification difficult. This paper proposes a Multi-level Feature Extraction Network (MFEN) based on SEResNet-50. Extracting richer and more diverse pedestrian features from poor-quality images will effectively improve the re-identification ability of the network, and MFEN can obtain Multistage key features in the image through the Feature Re-extraction Method (FRM) proposed in this paper. Experiments show that compared with AANet-50, MFEN has 3.85% /0.71% improvements of mAP/ Rank-1 on the Market1501 dataset, and 2.74% /1.28% improvements of mAP/ Rank-1 on the DukeMTMC-reID dataset.

This paper uses the coordinated energy management strategy for different sources and storages in the framework of flexible grid-connected energy hubs that participate in the day-ahead (DA) energy and reserve markets. In the base problem, this method maximizes the difference between the expected revenue of hubs gained by selling energy and reserve power in the proposed markets and the expected cost of lost flexibility (COLF). Also, it is subject to linearized optimal power flow (LOPF) equations in the electricity, gas and district heating systems, as well as hub constraints including different sources, storages and reserve models. This problem contains uncertainties of load, market price, reserve requirement, renewable power and hub mobile storages parameters. Therefore, the hybrid stochastic/robust optimization (HSRO) is suitable to model these uncertain parameters and obtain robust capability for the hub to improve the system flexibility. Accordingly, the bounded uncertainty-based robust optimization (BURO) is used in this paper to model the uncertainty of hub mobile storages to achieve the hub robust potential in improving the system flexibility, and other uncertain parameters are modeled according to scenario-based stochastic programming (SBSP). Finally, the proposed strategy is implemented on a standard test system. The obtained numerical results confirm the capability of the suggested scheme in improving the economic status of sources and storages using the coordinated energy management strategy in the form of an energy hub, as well as enhancing economic conditions, operation, and flexibility of energy networks thanks to hubs for having access to optimal scheduling.

The researcher proposed the concept of Top-K high-utility itemsets mining over data streams. Users directly specify the number K of high-utility itemsets they wish to obtain for mining with no need to set a minimum utility threshold. There exist some problems in current Top-K high-utility itemsets mining algorithms over data streams including the complex construction process of the storage structure, the inefficiency of threshold raising strategies and utility pruning strategies, and large scale of the search space, etc., which still can not meet the requirement of real-time processing over data streams with limited time and memory constraints. To solve this problem, this paper proposes an efficient algorithm based on dataset projection for mining Top-K high-utility itemsets from a data stream. A data structure CIUDataListSW is also proposed, which stores the position of the item in the transaction to effectively obtain the initial projected dataset of the item. In order to improve the projection efficiency, this paper innovates a new reorganization technology for projected transactions in common batches to maintain the sort order of transactions in the process of dataset projection. Dual pruning strategy and transaction merging mechanism are also used to further reduce search space and dataset scanning costs. In addition, based on the proposed CUDHSW structure, an efficient threshold raising strategy CUD is used, and a new threshold raising strategy CUDCB is designed to further shorten the mining time. Experimental results show that the algorithm has great advantages in running time and memory consumption, and it is especially suitable for the mining of high-utility itemsets of dense datasets.

This paper presents a new approach to the multi-modal medical image fusion based on Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and Singular value decomposition (SVD).The main objective of the proposed approach is to facilitate its implementation on a hardware unit, so it works effectively at run time. To evaluate the presented approach, it was tested in fusing four different cases of a registered CT and MRI images. Eleven quality metrics (including Mutual Information and Universal Image Quality Index) were used in evaluating the fused image obtained by the proposed approach, and compare it with the images obtained by the other fusion approaches. In experiments, the quality metrics shows that the fused image obtained by the presented approach has better quality result and it proved effective in medical image fusion especially in MRI and CT images. It also indicates that the paper approach had reduced the processing time and the memory required during the fusion process, and leads to very cheap and fast hardware implementation of the presented approach.

This paper mainly considers the finite-time synchronization problem of fuzzy inertial cellular neural networks (FICNNs) with time-varying delays. By constructing the suitable Lyapunov functional, and using integral inequality techniques, several sufficient criteria have been proposed to ensure the finite-time synchronization for the addressed (FICNNs). Without applying the known finite-time stability theorem, which is widely used to solve the finite-time synchronization problems for (FICNNs). In this paper, the proposed method is relatively convenient to solve finite-time synchronization problem of the addressed system, this paper extends the research works on the finite-time synchronization of (FICNNs). Finally, numerical simulations illustrated verify the effectiveness of the proposed results.

A cubic bipolar fuzzy set (CBFS) is a new approach in computational intelligence and decision-making under uncertainty. This model is the generalization of bipolar fuzzy sets to deal with two-sided contrasting features which can describe the information with a bipolar fuzzy number and an interval-valued bipolar fuzzy number simultaneously. In this paper, the Dombi’s operations are analyzed for information aggregation of cubic bipolar fuzzy numbers (CBFNs). The Dombi’s operations carry the advantage of more pliability and reliability due to the existence of their operational parameters. Owing to the pliable nature of Dombi’s operators, this research work introduces new aggregation operators named as cubic bipolar fuzzy Dombi weighted averaging (CBFDWA) operator and cubic bipolar fuzzy Dombi ordered weighted averaging (CBFDOWA) operator with ℙ -order and ℝ -order, respectively. Additionally, this paper presents some significant characteristics of suggested operators including, idempotency, boundedness and monotonicity. Moreover, a robust multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) technique is developed by using ℙ -CBFDWA and ℝ -CBFDWA operators. Based on the suggested operators a practical application is demonstrated towards MCDM under uncertainty. The comparison analysis of suggested Dombi’s operators with existing operators is also given to discuss the rationality, efficiency and applicability of these operators.

The ability to incorporate new and Big Data sources and to benefit from emerging technologies such as Web Technologies, Remote Data Collection methods, User Experience Platforms, and Trusted Smart Statistics will become increasingly important in producing and disseminating official statistics. The skills and competencies required to automate, analyse, and optimize such complex systems are often not part of the traditional skill set of most National Statistical Offices. The adoption of these technologies requires new knowledge, methodologies and the upgrading of the quality assurance framework, technology, security, privacy, and legal matters. However, there are methodological challenges and discussions among scholars about the diverse methodical confinement and the wide array of skills and competencies considered relevant for those working with big data at NSOs. This paper develops a Data Science Model for Official Statistics (DSMOS), graphically summarizing the role of data science in statistical business processes. The model combines data science, existing scientific paradigms, and trusted smart statistics, and develops around a restricted number of constructs. We considered a combination of statistical engineering, data engineering, data analysis, software engineering and soft skills such as statistical thinking, statistical literacy and specific knowledge of official statistics and dissemination of official statistics products as key requirements of data science in official statistics. We then analyse and discuss the educational requirements of the proposed model, clarifying their contribution, interactions, and current and future importance in official statistics. The DSMOS was validated through a quantitative method, using a survey addressed to experts working at the European statistical systems. The empirical results show that the core competencies considered relevant for the DSMOS include acquisition and processing capabilities related to Statistics, high-frequency data, spatial data, Big Data, and microdata/nano-data, in addition to problem-solving skills, Spatio-temporal modelling, machine learning, programming with R and SAS software, Data visualisation using novel technologies, Data and statistical literacy, Ethics in Official Statistics, New data methodologies, New data quality tools, standards and frameworks for official statistics. Some disadvantages and vulnerabilities are also addressed in the paper.

RFID is an established technology and its implementation has been increasing steadily in different industries in the last decades. An important and relatively recent RFID breakthrough has been that of moving the level of tagging from pallet- or case-level, to item-level. This development has opened up a new set of use cases and benefits, especially in retail. One of these new use cases is the estimation of items’ location by positioning and tracking the tags attached to them. This problem is often seen as a classification problem, especially when tags that are read at the retail store must be located either in the sales floor or in the backroom area. The typical approach to ease this classification consists of physically shielding the interested areas via hardware installations, although this solution is expensive and lacks flexibility. In this paper, we present a different solution, namely a software-based shielding approach, to address the classification problem. Our solution makes use of item-level RFID tags and is based on the well-known logistic regression. Whenever a reading session is performed by means of a handheld reader, the classification model estimates in real-time (i.e. within a few seconds) which tagged items are in the same area of the reader and which are not, with no need of any shielding hardware installation. According to the validation preliminary tests presented in this paper, in which we simulated a fashion retail store, the proposed approach has an overall average accuracy of 95.5%.

Due to the complexity and variety of textures on Strip steel, it is very difficult to detect defects on rigid surfaces. This paper proposes a metal surface defect classification method based on an improved bat algorithm to optimize BP neural network. First, this paper uses the Local Binary Pattern(LBP) algorithm to extract features from six types of defect images including inclusion, patches, crazing, pitted, rolled-in, and scratches, and build a feature sample library with the extracted feature values. Then, the WG-BA-BP network is used to classify the defect images with different characteristics. The weighted experience factor added by the network can control the flight speed of the bat according to the number of iterations and the change of the fitness function. And the gamma distribution is added in the process of calculating loudness, which enhances the local searchability. The BP network optimized by this method has higher accuracy. Finally, to verify the effectiveness of the method, this article introduces the five evaluation indicators of accuracy, precision, sensitivity, specificity, and F1 value under the multi-class model. To prove that this algorithm is more feasible and effective compared with other swarm intelligence algorithms. The best prediction performance of WG-BA-BP is 0.010905, and the accuracy rate can reach 0.9737.

Suppliers can be regarded as unavoidable sources of external risks in modern supply chains, which may cause disruption of supply chains. A resilient supplier usually has a high adaptive ability to reduce the vulnerability against disruptions and recover from disruption to keep continuity in operations. This paper develops an effective multi-attribute group decision-making (MAGDM) framework for resilient supplier selection. Because of the many uncertainties in resilient supplier selection, the dual hesitant fuzzy soft sets (DHFSSs), a very flexible tool to express uncertain and complex information of decision-makers, is utilized to cope with it. In order to obtain the resilient supplier’s partial order relationship and consider the psychological behavior of decision-makers, this paper proposes the MAGDM framework with DHFSSs based on the TOPSIS method and prospect theory for resilient supplier selection. Furthermore, we consider the consensus level among experts of different backgrounds and experiences and propose a consensus measure method based dual hesitant fuzzy soft numbers (DHFSNs) before selecting a resilient supplier. The expert weights are calculated by the group consensus level between the expert and the group opinions. Meanwhile, we define the entropy of DHFSSs to determine the attribute weights objectively in the decision-making process. Based on this, the proposed method is applied to a practical manufacturing enterprise with an international supply chain for a resilient supplier selection problem. Finally, by performing a sensitivity analysis and a comparative analysis, the results demonstrate the robustness and validity of the proposed method.

Quality function deployment (QFD) is a quality management tool that aims to improve customer satisfaction by transforming customer requirements into technical characteristics. It is a crucial procedure to obtain the prioritization of technical characteristics for the products or services in QFD. Traditional QFDs are often implemented by a small number of QFD members. However, with the increasing complexity of product and service design, QFD requires the participation of more QFD members from dispersed departments or institutions. Additionally, the evaluation information given by QFD members may widely differ due to their different knowledge and background. Furthermore, the psychological behaviours of QFD members also greatly influence the final prioritization of technical characteristics. Hence, this paper proposes a novel QFD framework to prioritize technical characteristics using a consensus-reaching process and prospect theory when large numbers of QFD members are involved. In the large-scale QFD framework, prospect theory is generally utilized to depict the psychological behaviours of QFD members. Then, QFD members are divided into several clusters. Eventually, a consensus-reaching process is established to assist QFD members in reaching a consensus. To verify the practicability of the presented framework, this paper applies it to the evaluation of contingency plan to determine the critical measures.

It is impossible for agents on both sides to achieve complete rationality in the decision-making process of two-sided matching (TSM). The TODIM (an acronym in Portuguese of interactive and multi-criteria decision-making) method considering the psychological behavior of decision-makers is well applied in the multiple criteria decision making (MCDM) problems. The TSM is a MCDM problem. Therefore, in this paper, a method based on TODIM technique is introduced to solve the TSM problem, in which the intuitionistic linguistic numbers are utilized to describe the mutual evaluation between candidates and hiring managers. The focus of this paper is to develop a method for the multi-criteria TSM problem under intuitionistic linguistic environment. First, the evaluation matrices of each agent with respect to each criterion are provided by agents on the opposite side, and the weight assigned to each criterion is determined according to the importance of the evaluation criterion to the matching agent. Then, the dominance measurement of each agent over another one can be calculated based on the intuitionistic linguistic TODIM method. Next, a bi-objective optimization model which aims to maximize the overall satisfaction degree of agents on both sides is constructed to attain the optimal matching pair. Furthermore, the feasibility of the solution method is verified by a case study of person-position matching (PPM), and the matching result demonstrates that the proposed method is effective in dealing with multi-criteria PPM problem. Finally, the sensitivity of parameters and some comparative studies are discussed.

The uncapacitated transportation problem (UTP) deals with minimizing the transportation costs related to the delivery of a homogeneous product from multi-suppliers to multi-consumers. The application of the UTP can be extended to other areas of operations research, including inventory control, personnel assignment, signature matching, product distribution with uncertainty, multi-period production and inventory planning, employment scheduling, and cash management. Such a UTP with interval-defined demands and suppliers capacities (UTPIDS) is investigated in this paper. In UTPIDS, the demands and suppliers capacities may not be known exactly but vary within an interval due to variation in the economic conditions of the global economy. Following the variation, the minimal total cost of the transportation can also be varied within an interval and thus, the cost bounds can be obtained. Here, although the lower bound solution can be attained methodologically, the correct estimation of the worst case realization (the exact upper bound) on the minimal total transportation cost of the UTPIDS is an NP-hard problem. So, the decision-makers seek for minimizing the transportation costs and they are interested in the estimation of the worst case realization on these minimal costs for better decision making especially, for proper investment and return. In literature very few approaches are available to find this estimation of the worst case realization with some shortcomings. First, we demonstrate that the available heuristic methods fail to obtain the correct estimation of the worst case realization always. In this situation, development of a better heuristic method to find the better near optimal estimation of the worst case realization on the minimal total costs of the UTPIDS is desirable. Then this paper provides a new polynomial time algorithm that runs in O (N2) time (N, higher of the numbers of source and destination nodes) for better estimation. A comparative assessment on solutions of available benchmark instances, some randomly generated numerical example problems and a real-world application shows promising performance of the current technique. So, our new finding would definitely be benefited to practitioners, academics and decision makers who deal with such type of decision making instances.

Miniature flexible parallel robots, popularly used for micro positioning application demands the use of non conventional actuators. Shape memory alloys (SMA) are popular smart actuators because of its light weight, integration compatibility, ease of actuation and high power density. Inclusion of shape memory alloy actuators to the parallel robot brings in control challenges due to its nonlinearity, coupling effects and cocontraction of antagonistic pair of actuators in the mechanism in order to achieve bi directional motion. In this paper, a PID like fuzzy controller is designed and applied to a nonlinear SMA spring actuator connected to a symmetric 2 DOF miniature parallel robot. The fuzzy rules are designed from the general response plot and modified to be applied to a parallel mechanism which involves cocontraction of antagonistic actuators. The paper has also presented the control and electrical circuit design used in the experimental set up. The fuzzy control is implemented in the hardware controller with model based position feedback and tested for the trajectory tracking characteristics of the end effector with disturbances. Experimental results are presented with quantitative analysis to show the effectiveness of the proposed controller in handling nonlinearities and disturbances compared to the conventional PID control and nonlinear Sliding mode control (NSMC). The test results has demonstrated the superior nature of proposed control over other controllers in the trajectory tracking with disturbances and also linearizing the hysteresis of controlled system.

Intrusion Detection System (IDS) can reduce the losses caused by intrusion behaviors and protect users’ information security. The effectiveness of IDS depends on the performance of the algorithm used in identifying intrusions. And traditional machine learning algorithms are limited to deal with the intrusion data with the characteristics of high-dimensionality, nonlinearity and imbalance. Therefore, this paper proposes an Intrusion Detection algorithm based on Image Enhanced Convolutional Neural Network (ID-IE-CNN). Firstly, based on the image processing technology of deep learning, oversampling method is used to increase the amount of original data to achieve data balance. Secondly, the one-dimensional data is converted into two-dimensional image data, the convolutional layer and the pooling layer are used to extract the main features of the image to reduce the data dimensionality. Thirdly, the Tanh function is introduced as an activation function to fit nonlinear data, a fully connected layer is used to integrate local information, and the generalization ability of the prediction model is improved by the Dropout method. Finally, the Softmax classifier is used to predict the behavior of intrusion detection. This paper uses the KDDCup99 data set and compares with other competitive algorithms. Both in the performance of binary classification and multi-classification, ID-IE-CNN is better than the compared algorithms, which verifies its superiority.

A marked Petri net is lucent if there are no two different reachable markings enabling the same set of transitions, i.e., states are fully characterized by the transitions they enable. Characterizing the class of systems that are lucent is a foundational and also challenging question. However, little research has been done on the topic. In this paper, it is shown that all free-choice nets having a home cluster are lucent. These nets have a so-called home marking such that it is always possible to reach this marking again. Such a home marking can serve as a regeneration point or as an end-point. The result is highly relevant because in many applications, we want the system to be lucent and many “well-behaved” process models fall into the class identified in this paper. Unlike previous work, we do not require the marked Petri net to be live and stronglyconnected. Most of the analysis techniques for free-choice nets are tailored towards well-formed nets. The approach presented in this paper provides a novel perspective enabling new analysis techniques for free-choice nets that do not need to be well-formed. Therefore, we can also model systems and processes that are terminating and/or have an initialization phase.

The state detection problem and fault diagnosis/prediction problem are fundamental topics in many areas. In this paper, we consider discrete-event systems (DESs) modeled by finite-state automata (FSAs). There exist plenty of results on decentralized versions of the latter problem but there is almost no result for a decentralized version of the former problem. In this paper, we propose a decentralized version of strong detectability called co-detectability which means that if a system satisfies this property, for each generated infinite-length event sequence, in at least one location the current and subsequent states can be determined by observations in the location after a common observation time delay. We prove that the problem of verifying co-detectability of deterministic FSAs is coNP-hard. Moreover, we use a unified concurrent-composition method to give PSPACE verification algorithms for co-detectability, co-diagnosability, and co-predictability of FSAs, without any assumption on or modification of the FSAs under consideration, where co-diagnosability is first studied by [Debouk & Lafortune & Teneketzis 2000], co-predictability is first studied by [Kumar & Takai 2010]. By our proposed unified method, one can see that in order to verify co-detectability, more technical difficulties will be met compared with verifying the other two properties, because in co-detectability, generated outputs are counted, but in the latter two properties, only occurrences of events are counted. For example, when one output was generated, any number of unobservable events could have occurred. PSPACE-hardness of verifying co-diagnosability is already known in the literature. In this paper, we prove PSPACE-hardness of verifying co-predictability.

BACKGROUND: The rapid development of information technology has changed the interactive behaviors in people’s daily lives. OBJECTIVE: The purpose of this paper is to investigate as to whether the characteristics of the social network service (SNS) can increase the motivation (antecedent) of the SNS users; and in turn, increase their affection and cognitive (beliefs) towards the SNS; and then increase their purchase behavior (consequence). METHODS: This study uses the antecedent belief consequence (ABC) theory, and collects data from the SNS users in Taiwan, with a total of 188 valid surveys were completed for model testing. RESULTS: The findings show that: (1) The SNS characteristics (information and service qualities), indeed, have influenced the affection and cognitive of the SNS users, but the system quality can only influence the affection of the SNS users. (2) The purchase behavior of the SNS users have been influenced by the cognitive of the SNS users only, but not by the affection. CONCLUSIONS: The result demonstrates that the beliefs of the SNS users should be considered when the researchers investigate the purchase behavior of the SNS users. This paper also discusses the contribution to the research and the SNS management practice.

Human activity recognition is a key technology in intelligent video surveillance and an important research direction in the field of computer vision. However, the complexity of human interaction features and the differences in motion characteristics at different time periods have always existed. In this paper, a human interaction recognition algorithm based on parallel multi-feature fusion network is proposed. First of all, in view of the different amount of information provided by the different time periods of action, an improved time-phased video down sampling method based on Gaussian model is proposed. Second, the Inception module uses different scale convolution kernels for feature extraction. It can improve network performance and reduce the amount of network parameters at the same time. The ResNet module mitigates degradation problem due to increased depth of neural networks and achieves higher classification accuracy. The amount of information provided in the motion video in different stages of motion time is also different. Therefore, we combine the advantages of the Inception network and ResNet to extract feature information, and then we integrate the extracted features. After the extracted features are merged, the training is continued to realize parallel connection of the multi-feature neural network. In this paper, experiments are carried out on the UT dataset. Compared with the traditional activity recognition algorithm, this method can accomplish the recognition tasks of six kinds of interactive actions in a better way, and its accuracy rate reaches 88.9%.

From the recent study, it is observed that even though cloud computing grants the greatest performance in the case of storage, computing, and networking services, the Internet of Things (IoT) still suffers from high processing latency, awareness of location, and least mobility support. To address these issues, this paper integrates fog computing and Software-Defined Networking (SDN). Importantly, fog computing does the extension of computing and storing to the network edge that could minimize the latency along with mobility support. Further, this paper aims to incorporate a new optimization strategy to address the “Load balancing” problem in terms of latency minimization. A new Thresholded-Whale Optimization Algorithm (T-WOA) is introduced for the optimal selection of load distribution coefficient (time allocation for doing a task). Finally, the performance of the proposed model is compared with other conventional models concerning latency. The simulation results prove that the SDN based T-WOA algorithm could efficiently minimize the latency and improve the Quality of Service (QoS) in Software Defined Cloud/Fog architecture.

Handling complexity in conceptual ship design processes requires a thorough understanding of complexity aspects in general. More than 100 scientific papers on the subject published since 1962 are, therefore, reviewed and discussed in this paper. The paper expands the understanding of complexity theory by reviewing the literature in the engineering domain. Different definitions of complexity, characteristics of complex systems, aspects of complexity in design, complexity sources, and its drivers are explored and discussed in detail. Furthermore, the findings are arranged into relevant complexity factors in ship design. Related complexity factors in ship design, are also discussed by use of examples from everyday ship design practices. This study is a theoretical elaboration to shed light on the current practice and future research direction in handling complexity in conceptual ship design processes to improve competitiveness.
