In this study, a bottom pouring-type stir casting machine was used to create AZ31 magnesium alloy hybrid nanocomposites with varying weight percentages (0, 3, 5, and 7) of silicon carbide (SiC) and graphite (Gr) particles. Investigations have been made into the mechanical characteristics and microstructural distribution of manufactured hybrid nanocomposites. The outcomes demonstrate that the mechanical characteristics and uniform distribution of SiC and Gr particles are enhanced compared to those of the base alloy. In comparison to monolithic AZ31 alloy, microhardness, ultimate tensile strength (UTS), yield strength (YS), and compressive strength (CS) were raised by about 54%, 68%, 82%, and 107%, respectively. The presence of reinforced particles, the uniform distribution of particles, and the strong interfacial connection between the matrix and reinforcement all contribute to the improvement of mechanical properties. However, the addition of 7 wt. % SiC/Gr showed good mechanical properties compared to the base alloy. The silica zinc oxide nanoparticles filled poly-vinylidene-fluoride (PVDF)-based nanocomposite flexible sheets (NC FSs) are synthesized by co-precipitation method. The X-ray diffraction patterns reveal the development of various diffraction planes related to zinc oxide (ZnO) and SiO2 phases. The crystallinity of ZnO phase is decreased with increasing weight percent (wt.%) of silica nanofillers (NFs). The scanning electron microscope microstructure of synthesized PVDF-based NCs FSs is changed with increasing wt.% of silica NFs. The energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy analyses confirm the presence of different elements and the formation of chemical bonding between them. In high temperature region, the weight-loss of synthesized PVDF-based NCs FSs is decreased from 89.90% to 49.26% with increasing wt.% of silica NFs. The values of dielectric permittivity, loss-factor, impedance, and AC-conductivity of PVDF-based NC FSs synthesized for maximum amount of silica NFs are found to be 13.7, 0.03, 0.16 MΩ, and 19.9 × 10 − 6 S/m, respectively. A mixed microbiologically composite made from natural Linum usitatissimum fibers with nano-reinforced organic plastics can improve properties while being environmentally friendly. The inclusion of aluminium tris hydroxide particles into an organic polymer enables it to maintain stiffness without sacrificing durability, even while improving barriers and material characteristics. A study of numerous composite samples verified this complementary effect, with combinations including 10 percent EMS and 2.6 wt.% ATH retaining the resin's stiffness, stress to breakage, and mechanical properties while improving durability. Mechanical tests such as tensile and impact strength were discovered using the conventional ASTM test plan. Best-practice designs which maximize constituent interactions are thus attainable, and the research findings serve as the basis for discovering this balance, thereby broadening the spectrum of microbiologically polymer nanocomposites. Nanostructured carbon dispersed polymer nanocomposites are promising materials for tribological applications. Carbon nanofiber (CNF) and carbon nanotube (CNT) dispersed polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) nanocomposite was prepared by chemical synthesis route. Morphology and microstructure of well-dispersed CNF and CNT in PVDF were specified by scanning electron microscope and X-ray diffraction, respectively. Moreover, chemical and functional characteristics were examined by Raman spectroscopy and FTIR investigation. The friction coefficient of PVDF nanocomposite laminated on steel substrate decreased with an increase in the dispersed quantity of CNF and CNT. The friction coefficient of PVDF is approximately 0.27; however, the addition of carbon nanomaterial in PVDF will further decrease the friction coefficient between 0.24 and 0.17. This value was significantly less in CNT dispersed PVDF nanocomposite. This could be explained by easy shearing and rolling action contact interfaces. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
