In order to improve the level of ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin, improve the level of urban capacity for disaster reduction and management and explore the coordination between urban resilience and economic development level, in this paper, nine provinces in the Yellow River Basin were selected as the research objects, and the evaluation values of urban resilience and economic development level were estimated by using entropy weight method from 2010 to 2019, and the coupling coordination between urban resilience and economic development level was discussed based on the coupling coordination degree model. The results show that a) the level of economic development in the Yellow River Basin has regional differences and the overall distribution is "high in the east and low in the west, and high in the south and low in the north". b) The overall urban resilience of the Yellow River Basin is at a low level and its spatial distribution is correlated with the level of economic development. c) The development of coupling coordination degree system shows the three routes of a growth-oriented route represented by Gansu, Qinghai and Ningxia, a steady route represented by Shanxi, Shaanxi and Inner Mongolia and a mature route represented by Sichuan, Henan and Shandong.
