This article discusses the process of organizational change within the Association of Professional School Librarians in Indonesia (APISI). After seventeen years of operation, APISI recognized the need for change due to the desire of the current president to step down, the influx of younger librarians, and the need to update its vision, mission, and programs. The article outlines the preparation and process for implementing change, including reshaping the organization's vision and mission, forming a guiding coalition, and focusing on leadership styles that balance transformational and transactional approaches.
