Accurate quantum dynamics simulations of nonadiabatic processes are important for studies of electron transfer, energy transfer, and photochemical reactions in complex systems. In this comparative study, we benchmark various approximate nonadiabatic dynamics methods with mapping variables against numerically exact calculations based on the tensor-train (TT) representation of high-dimensional arrays, including TT-KSL for zero-temperature dynamics and TT-thermofield dynamics for finite-temperature dynamics. The approximate nonadiabatic dynamics methods investigated include mixed quantum–classical Ehrenfest mean-field and fewest-switches surface hopping, linearized semiclassical mapping dynamics, symmetrized quasiclassical dynamics, the spin-mapping method, and extended classical mapping models. Different model systems were evaluated, including the spin-boson model for nonadiabatic dynamics in the condensed phase, the linear vibronic coupling model for electronic transition through conical intersections, the photoisomerization model of retinal, and Tully's one-dimensional scattering models. Our calculations show that the optimal choice of approximate dynamical method is system-specific, and the accuracy is sensitively dependent on the zero-point-energy parameter and the initial sampling strategy for the mapping variables. The electromagnetic environment faced by modern radar is becoming increasingly complex. One effective means to improve the performance of radar systems is testing in an anti-jamming ability test chamber, where the increased complexity has also led to higher performance requirements for radar jamming simulators. Based on the requirements for modern radar system testing, this paper presents a study of a large-bandwidth real-time radar jamming simulator and describes its overall design architecture; the simulator covers the L-Ku and Ka frequency bands and the instantaneous bandwidth is ≥2 GHz, which means that the system is able to simulate 11 interference patterns. Synchronous control of the system is realized in 1 ms through use of the reflection memory interrupt mechanism, the synchronous pulse signal mechanism, synchronous timing design, and a real-time control software architecture. An overall design scheme for real-time simulation of a radar target jamming echo is given and baseband signal processing resources are saved through information preprocessing, a large-capacity high-speed storage board is designed to improve the data reading speed, a multiphase filtering structure is used to achieve high sampling rates and save hardware resources, and a high-speed parallel computing method is used to improve computing efficiency; the actual measured baseband signal processing time is less than 500 ns. In this work, a chemical vapor deposition (CVD) method was developed for the synthesis of transition metal dichalcogenide alloy monolayers, with a composition gradient in the radial direction. The composition gradient was achieved by controlling the substrate cooling rate during the CVD growth. The two types of alloys, namely, WS2(1−x)Se2x and MoS2(1−x)Se2x, were found to exhibit an opposite composition gradient. This is attributed to their different cohesive energies. A two-dimensional Ising model is used to explain the growth mechanism, where two ends of the composition were modeled as a magnetically ordered phase and a paramagnetic phase. Frequency measurement is one of the key techniques in high-precision data acquisition technology of broadband signals. Generally, frequency measurement not only needs to deal with a large amount of data processing but also requires a high precision, but these two aspects are sometimes difficult to reconcile. Some algorithms are overly dependent on the accuracy of the to-be-measured data, which might not be the desired option for real projects since it is almost impossible to get ideal error-free data. This article adopts a frequency measurement method based on the coordinate rotation digital computer algorithm, differential algorithm, and Kalman filter. The use of these algorithms for the frequency measurement process would not only simplify the calculation but also reduce the effect of the measurement error. This method can measure all signals that satisfy the sampling theorem and can also measure multi-channel parallel signals. The experimental results of data simulation and actual measurement on the hardware platform show that the accurate frequency measurement algorithm has a strong data processing ability, stable measurement, and steady improvement in the accuracy of measurement results, which can meet the needs of most instruments for accurate frequency measurement. We report unconventional thermoelectric power (Seebeck coefficient, S) in L10 structured FePt films. The temperature dependence of S can be well fitted by a phenomenological expression consisting of electron diffusion and magnon-drag contributions. Interestingly, the magnon drag coefficient carries an opposite sign to that of electron diffusion, revealing a dominant contribution from the elusive electron-magnon Umklapp scattering. Density-functional theory calculations identify several bands crossing the Brillouin zone boundaries, facilitating the Umklapp process. The large spin–orbit coupling in FePt results in strong mixing of majority and minority spins among some of those bands, greatly enhancing the electron-magnon scattering. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
