RESUMEN. El presente trabajo tiene por finalidad demostrar que la buena fe puede ser considerada no solo como principio del derecho civil patrimonial, sino que también como un principio del derecho de familia. Siendo así, la buena fe familiar permitiría determinar que los miembros de una familia tienen el deber de comportarse leal y correctamente en el cumplimiento de los deberes y obligaciones que tienen entre sí, de manera que un comportamiento desleal e incorrecto será constitutivo de mala fe, lo cual permitiría fundamentar una acción de indemnización por incumplimiento de los deberes familiares. ABSTRACT. The present work aims to prove that good faith might be considered not only as a principle within the patrimonial Civil Law, but also as a principle within the Family Law. Being like that, family good faith would allow to determine that the members of a family have the duty of behaving loyally and correctly while accomplishing the duties and obligation among them, so a disloyal and incorrect behavior would constitute bad faith, which can be considered as an argument to sustain a compensation action for the breach of family duties.
