This paper examines the impact of media communication on the stock market in the context of the digital age, particularly its role in stock price volatility. With the significant increase in the speed, breadth and depth of media communication, the efficiency of stock market information transmission has been dramatically improved, significantly impacting stock price volatility. The article first explores the specific impact of media coverage characteristics and methods on stock price volatility by quantitatively analyzing media coverage’s breadth, manner and content. Then, the article utilizes multiple linear regression models to deeply explore the impact of various news texts on stock price volatility in different reporting modes (e.g., live reporting, television, and text reporting) in the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock markets. The findings show a significant association between the breadth of media coverage and stock prices at the 1% significance level. In addition, the regression coefficients of content and manner of coverage on stock price changes are 0.096 and 0.229, respectively, which are both significant at the 5% significance level. The research results of this paper not only reveal the close relationship between media communication and stock market volatility and provide theoretical support for predicting dramatic stock market volatility, which helps to promote the construction of a healthy and orderly capital market order.

The robot-based automatic power grid defect elimination device represents the future direction of power grid inspection and defect elimination devices. However, the presence of strong electromagnetic interference in the vicinity of power grids poses potential risks to the application of automatic defect elimination devices. This study initially conducts theoretical analysis and calculations to analyse the spatial distribution of electromagnetic fields around 220kV 100MW high-voltage lines in a power grid. The results indicate that electric field intensity can exceed 70kV/m in areas near these high-voltage lines. Subsequently, electromagnetic fields within the operational range of the elimination device are simulated and analysed, leading to selection and optimization of shielding materials and structures. When non-metallic insulating materials are used, equipment is fully exposed to the power grid’s electromagnetic field, making internal devices susceptible to interference; however, employing metal aluminum materials achieves better shielding effects. A continuous metal shielding layer effectively shields against electric fields, while openings or gaps in the shell lead to deteriorated shielding performance. These findings demonstrate that appropriate selection of shielding materials and suitable structural design are crucial factors for achieving excellent shielding effects. To ensure both safety and efficient electromagnetic shielding, a multi-layer composite shielding structure is necessary for power grid elimination devices. Overall, these analysis results provide valuable guidance for designing, operating, and maintaining such devices.

In many vertebrates, the brain's right hemisphere which is connected to the left visual field specializes in the processing of information about threats while the left hemisphere which is connected to the right visual field specializes in the processing of information about conspecifics. This is referred to as hemispheric lateralization. But individuals that are too predictable in their response to predators could have reduced survival and we may expect selection for somewhat unpredictable responses. We studied hemispheric lateralization in yellow-bellied marmots Marmota flaviventer, a social rodent that falls prey to a variety of terrestrial and aerial predators. We first asked if they have lateralized responses to a predatory threat. We then asked if the eye that they used to assess risk influenced their perceptions of risk. We recorded the direction marmots were initially looking and then walked toward them until they fled. We recorded the distance that they responded to our experimental approach by looking, the eye with which they looked at us, and the distance at which they fled (i.e., flight initiation distance; FID). We found that marmots had no eye preference with which they looked at an approaching threat. Furthermore, the population was not comprised of individuals that responded in consistent ways. However, we found that marmots that looked at the approaching person with their left eye had larger FIDs suggesting that risk assessment was influenced by the eye used to monitor the threat. These findings are consistent with selection to make prey less predictable for their predators, despite underlying lateralization.

Ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) fibers possess excellent mechanical properties, yet their applications are severely limited by surface inertness and low melting points. To enhance surface activity and temperature resistance, soluble polyimide (PI) is applied to the surface of UHMWPE fibers. A mussel‐inspired biomimetic polycatechol/polyamine (PA) coating is initially constructed on the UHMWPE fiber surface by oxidative self‐polymerization, serving as a secondary reaction platform. Subsequently, multifunctional UHMWPE‐PA‐PI fibers are prepared by depositing soluble PI on the fiber surface via impregnation. The PA and PI layers are firmly bonded by hydrogen bonding interactions and physical adhesion. The results show that the PI‐coated UHMWPE fiber surface exhibits enhanced chemical activity, hydrophilicity, and thermal stability, with an increased thermal decomposition temperature of approximately 30 °C. Compared to pristine UHMWPE, the breaking force of UHMWPE‐PA‐PI fibers increases by 14.9%, and the interfacial adhesion strength between the fiber and rubber improves by 65.5%. The PI coatings also provide thermal insulation, acid resistance, and erasability functionalities. This modification strategy is highly efficient, simple, and less damaging, offering a novel solution to address UHMWPE fibers' surface inertness and temperature intolerance. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Endometrium fibrosis is the leading cause of uterine infertility. Macrophages participated in the occurrence and development of endometrial fibrosis. We previously reported that human umbilical cord multipotent stromal cells (hUC-MSCs) exerted their therapeutic effect in a macrophage-dependent manner in endometrial fibrosis. However precise mechanisms by which hUC-MSCs may influence macrophages in endometrial fibrosis remain largely unexplored. Here, we demonstrated that abnormal iron and lipid metabolism occurred in patients with intrauterine adhesions (IUA) and murine models. Ferroptosis has been proven to contribute to the progression of fibrotic diseases. Our results revealed that pharmacological activation of ferroptosis by Erastin aggravated endometrial fibrosis, while inhibition of ferroptosis by Ferrostatin-1 ameliorated endometrial fibrosis in vivo. Moreover, ferroptosis of macrophages was significantly upregulated in endometria of IUA murine models. Of note, transcriptome profiles revealed that CD36 gene expression was significantly increased in patients with IUA and immunofluorescence analysis showed CD36 protein was mainly located in macrophages. Silencing CD36 in macrophages could reverse cell ferroptosis. Dual luciferase reporter assay revealed that CD36 was the direct target of activation transcription factor 3 (ATF3). Furthermore, through establishing coculture system and IUA murine models, we found that hUC-MSCs had a protective role against macrophage ferroptosis and alleviated endometrial fibrosis related to decreased CD36 and ATF3. The effect of hUC-MSCs on macrophage ferroptosis was attributed to the upregulation of amphiregulin (AREG). Our data highlighted that macrophage ferroptosis occurred in endometrial fibrosis via the ATF3-CD36 pathway and hUC-MSCs protected against macrophage ferroptosis to alleviate endometrial fibrosis via secreting AREG. Background: Acute exacerbation (AE) of interstitial lung disease (ILD) is one of the most serious complications during perioperative period of lung cancer resection. This study aimed to investigate the correlation between preoperative 2- deoxy-2-[18F]fluoro-D-glucose (18F-FDG) PET/CT findings and AE in lung cancer patients with ILD. Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the data of 210 patients who underwent lung resection for non-small cell lung cancer. Relationships between clinical data and PET images and AE were evaluated. The patients were divided into an AE(+) and an AE(-) group for multivariate logistic regression analysis. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis was conducted and the area under curve (AUC) was used to assess the predictive values. Results: Among 210 patients, 48 (22.8%) were diagnosed with ILD based on chest CT. Among them, 9 patients (18.75%) developed AE after lung resection and were defined as AE(+) group. The course of ILD was longer in AE(+) group compared to AE(-) group. More patients in AE(+) group had a history of AE and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) than in AE(-) group. The maximum standardized uptake value (SUVmax) of the noncancerous interstitial pneumonia (IP) area and cancers in AE(+) group was significantly higher compared to AE(-) group. Univariate logistic regression analysis showed that AE, COPD, SUVmax of the noncancerous IP area, SUVmax of cancer, surgical method were significantly correlated with AE. The course of ILD[OR(95%CI) 2.919; P = 0.032], SUVmax of the noncancerous IP area[OR(95%CI) 7.630;P = 0.012] and D-Dimer level[OR(95%CI) 38.39;P = 0.041] were identified as independent predictors for AE in patients with ILD after lung cancer surgery. When the three indicators were combined, we found significantly better predictive performance for postoperative AE than that of SUVmax of the noncancerous IP area alone [0.963 (95% CI 0.914-1.00); sensitivity, 100%, specificity 87.2%, P < 0.001 vs. 0.875 (95% CI 0.789 ~ 0.960); sensitivity, 88.9%, specificity, 76.9%, P = 0.001; difference in AUC = 0.088, Z = 1.987, P = 0.04]. Conclusion: The combination of the course of ILD, SUVmax of the noncancerous IP area and D-Dimer levels has high predictive value for the occurrence of AE in patients with concomitant interstitial lesions. The traditional RSA information encryption algorithm uses one-dimensional chaotic equations to generate pseudo-random sequences that meet the encryption requirements. This encryption method is too simple and the security performance is poor. A multi-level encryption algorithm for user-related information across social networks is proposed, and a user association model across social networks is constructed to obtain user-related information across social networks. This multi-level chaotic encryption algorithm based on neural network is used to select three different chaotic mapping models based on user-related information, and a multi-level chaotic encryption algorithm is designed. According to the characteristics of error sensitivity of chaotic system, the neural network is used to inversely propagate the error. A chaotic encryption algorithm that implements multi-level encryption of user-related information across social networks is optimized. The experimental results show that the average rate for which the proposed algorithm correctly identified the user-related information across social networks was 97.6%, the highest frequency of average character distribution probability in cipher text was 0.021, and the average time for encryption was 18.45 Mbps. The average time for decryption was 21.90Mbps.

In view of problems of redundant search point and poor real-time performance when encountering sudden threat existed in application of traditional algorithm in route planning of unmanned aerial vehicle in environment detection for post-disaster underground, a reverse variable weight sparse algorithm was proposed. According to performance constraint of unmanned aerial vehicle and threat model in post-disaster underground, global static route planning is carried out from target point to start point, so as to avoid a large number of invalid searches. Different weight coefficients are set according to mission requirement of unmanned aerial vehicle, so as to obtain route focuses on distance or safety. Only the path covered by sudden threat is corrected by introducing sub-target point strategy, so as to avoid sudden threat effectively in short time. The simulation results show that the algorithm used in route planning can save time of route planning and reduce threat to unmanned aerial vehicle, which can effectively guarantee real-time performance and safety of route planning.
