BackgroundIn the context of a global shortage, uneven distribution, and structural imbalance of nursing talent, postgraduate nursing students must make appropriate decisions about their careers not only for the nursing profession but also for society as a whole. However, little research has been reported on the current status and factors influencing career decision-making difficulties among postgraduate nursing students.ObjectivesExploring the mediating role of career decision-making self-efficacy between professional self-concept and career decision-making difficulties among postgraduate nursing students in China based on the social cognitive career theory.Methods276 postgraduate nursing students from 25 universities in seven administrative regions of China were selected by stratified random sampling. Data were collected with the Career decision-making difficulties Questionnaire, Career Decision-making Self-Efficacy Scale, and Nursing Professional Self-concept Scale through an online survey, and were analyzed by univariate analysis, correlation analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, and PROCESS macro.ResultsThe score for career decision-making difficulties was 2.84 (SD = 0.54). N6-Methyladenosine (m6A) is the most abundant internal modification in eukaryotic mRNA, playing critical role in various bioprocesses. Like other epigenetic modifications, m6A modification can be catalyzed by the methyltransferase complex and erased dynamically to maintain cells homeostasis. Up to now, only two m6A demethylases have been reported, fat mass and obesity-associated protein (FTO) and alkylation protein AlkB homolog 5 (ALKBH5), involving in a wide range of mRNA biological progress, including mRNA shearing, export, metabolism and stability. Furthermore, they participate in many significantly biological signaling pathway, and contribute to the progress and development of cancer along with other diseases. In this review, we focus on the studies about structure, inhibitors development and biological function of FTO and ALKBH5.

In current work, solid dispersions (SDs) of Cryptotanshinone (CPT) using mesoporous magnesium phosphates (MgPs) as the dispersing carrier (CPT-MgPs SDs) were prepared, characterized, and evaluated. Three mesoporous MgPs (MgP, MgP-Vc, and MgP-Triton) with different phases and morphology were hydrothermally synthesized first. After that, they were combined with CPT to prepare SDs by an ethanol-based solvent evaporation method. It was observed that the large CPT crystals were transformed into amorphous micro-molecular particles and well dispersed in MgPs nanoparticles after the solvent evaporation procedure. In addition, all MgPs were self-assembled into microspherical agglomerates of palate-like particles. The dissolution studies of CPT from MgPs indicated that 1) the dissolution of CPT from SDs can be improved on comparison to pure CPT, 2) MgP is the best among all carrier tested, but still not satisfactory. In addition, 2 other phenomena about CPT-MgP SD were observed. One was that an apparent increasing trend is seen between the MgP weight ratios and the dissolution rate of CPT. The other one was that MgP can be a pH responsive carrier to tailor the dissolution behavior of CPT. Development of promising SD with CPT solubility improvement, pH responsibility, and sustained drug release ability is still deserved in future. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
