ASME International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition (IMECE) -- OCT 30-NOV 03 -- 2022 -- Columbus -- OH, The most important need in the aviation industry is the realization of high-strength and lightweight designs. For this reason, topology optimization methods have become widespread recently. Besides, meeting the natural frequency requirements is one of the important design elements. However, topology optimization with stiffness maximization requires a static finite element analysis evaluation while the natural frequency calculation requires a modal analysis evaluation. Using these two different analysis procedures at the same time in the topology optimization process, on the other hand, is a challenging task. To address this challenge, a topology optimization methodology that accounts for the natural frequency constraint in a compliance minimization process is presented in this study. Since the commercial software can either minimize compliance or minimize the vibration frequency at one time, using these two different analysis procedures at the same time together stands out as an innovative aspect of this study. The applicability of the developed methodology is shown for two bracket designs; namely, the so-called GE bracket and a real-world satellite bracket with natural frequency and mass constraints. There have been significant technological advancements in the field of technology, which have led to the widespread adoption of Intelligent Personal Assistants (IPAs) in smartphones, smart home systems, and e-commerce websites. The purpose of this article is to provide a comprehensive overview of Intelligent Personal Assistants and analyze academic research related to these assistants using bibliometric analysis. The findings from the bibliometric analysis using the Scopus database revealed a total of 391 publications related to Intelligent Personal Assistants. Through keyword examination, 284 unique keywords were identified. As indicated by the co-author's bibliometric analysis, which was based on the same data, two clusters were identified. In conclusion, this study contributes to the academic discourse and encourages further research and development in this area by highlighting the development, impact and interdisciplinary nature of intelligent personal assistants and their importance in today's technology. What research into intelligent personal assistants should focus on; it can be suggested to introduce assistants that can communicate in more than one language and adapt to user preferences, to design more sensitive and personal distributions. Introduction: Schwannomas originate from the peripheral nerve sheaths and are mainly detected in the head, neck, or extremities. They are rarely encountered in the penoscrotal region. Case Presentation: Herein, we present a case of a penoscrotal schwannoma diagnosed and successfully treated in our center. A 40-year-old patient with a history of resection of a dorsal penile schwannoma presented with multiple nodular lesions at the scrotum, penile shaft, and radix, which were first noticed 5 years before his current presentation. He complained about penile pain and dyspareunia. Magnetic resonance imaging was performed for preoperative diagnosis. All nodular lesions were resected while preserving the neurovascular structures. The histopathological examination revealed benign lesions. The patient's complaints were resolved, and there was no recurrence during the 1-year follow-up. Conclusion: The primary treatment is surgical excision. The patients need close follow-up regarding the risks of recurrence and malignant transformation. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This book aims to present the current researches of scientists by bringing together studies related to sub-disciplinary areas specific to the basic field of educational sciences and teacher training. We have completed our "Educational Sciences Research" series, which we have created in line with the intense demand from the academicians of this field, with three books. We named our new series "Current Research in Education". Our book aims to be a source of inspiration for academicians who want to do research especially in the field of educational sciences and teacher training. We also think that it can be used as a useful resource for readers. We would like to thank the authors who contributed to the book and everyone who contributed to its preparation., Bu kitap, eğitim bilimleri ve öğretmen yetiştirme temel alanına özgü alt disiplin alanları ile ilgili çalışmaları bir araya getirerek, bilim insanlarının güncel araştırmalarını sunmayı amaçlamaktadır. 22. Investigating the Mediating Role of Problematic Internet Use in the Relationship between the Coping Humor and Subjective Vitality of University Students.

Subjective vitality is a concept related to the mental health of individuals. Subjective vitality is an important concept for university students. In this context, this study presents a model to explain the subjective vitality of university students. This research investigates the mediating role of problematic internet use in the relationship between coping humor and the subjective vitality of university students. A total of 378 university students (243 females and 135 males, Agemean = 20.27 ± 1.78) participated in the study and completed the Subjective Vitality Scale, Coping Humor Scale, Young Internet Addiction Scale - Short Form, and Personal Information Form. Structural equation modelling was used for data analysis. According to Structural Equation Modeling, coping humor predicts subjective vitality through partial mediation of problematic internet use. The findings suggest that coping humour reduces university students' problematic internet use and thus increases their subjective vitality. In addition, coping humour contributes positively to university students' subjective vitality. 23. Examining the Mediating Role of Forgiveness in the Relationship between University Students' Belonging and Flourishing.

With the development of the field of positive psychology, research on how positive concepts of human nature predict mental health has become widespread. A concept that explain positive mental health development is flourishing. This study examines the mediating role of forgiveness in the relationship between belongingness and flourishing among university students. A total of 381 university students (211 females and 170 males, Mage = 21.12 ± 2.23) participated in the study and completed the Flourishing Scale, General Belongingness Scale, Heartland Forgiveness Scale, and Personal Information Form. Hayes (2018) developed Model 4 within the SPSS macro PROCESS v4 to examine the mediating role of forgiveness between belongingness and flourishing. The results of the research model indicated a significant and positive link among belongingness, forgiveness, and flourishing. According to the research model, belongingness is predicted to flourish through the partial mediation of forgiveness. These findings indicate that belongingness improves university students' forgiveness, thereby enhancing their flourishing. In addition, belongingness helps university students flourish. Idioms are a collection of literary and eloquent phrases that briefly express lines of information. It is frequently used in every language to express the meaning to be given in a short and striking way. Idioms, which are also used frequently in Arabic language in written texts/acquis and daily life, represent an important part of language utilization. Idioms also have an important place in understanding the Qur'an. These short expressions, with their impressive meanings, leave deep traces in the emotional world by penetrating the soul of the person and have a life-facilitating function. Idioms are one of the main sources that give information about the culture of societies. Because idioms bring the meaning to be given closer to the mind and ensure that it has a solid establishment. It is a fact that religious, literary, political, cultural, psychological, educational/instructive, communicative and mental factors have effects the formation of idioms. The fact that the idioms, which are a means of example and a tool in daily life, are the sources that were consulted in the formation process of the rules of the Arabic language, is another issue that increases its importance in terms of linguistics. The subject of idioms, which deserves a volumnious study, has been examined in the context of understanding the Qur'an in this article. Our study examines the ethical development method of the Qur'an, analyzing the principles of Quranic ethics and the strategies it employs in instilling these principles in individuals. This article delves into the ethical purpose of the Qur'an to rejuvenate the deteriorated moral structure over time with its universal characteristics. Simultaneously, it aims to enlighten the impact of the Quranic ethical development method on human maturation by analyzing the ethical principles in the Quran. Furthermore, it aims to elucidate the role of these principles in individual character development and the establishment of societal ethics. The article adopts a methodology, including literature review, examination of relevant verses, and analysis of commentaries, to analyze the Qur'an's methodology. Thus the article presents the Quranic strategy, revealing an approach that unfolds the moral development in human behavior. Throughout this process, it observes the Quran's roadmap to guide individuals towards ethical maturity step-by-step. The study identifies that the Quran employs a gradual change strategy, introducing concepts of good and evil, motivation, and exemplification to achieve the societal development. It is noted that the Quran effectively utilizes methods such as dispelling despair, encouraging forgiveness, motivating through belief in the afterlife, and instilling good morals. The Quran is found to lay the conceptual groundwork with a gradual method leading to the desired virtuous ethics. In conclusion, based on the transformative impact it has on individuals, this research reveals that the Qur'an aspires to elevate moral values not only in the past but in every era, aiming to create an ideal society. 30. Non-transecting urethroplasty in patients with bulbar urethral strictures shorter than three centimeters.

This study aimed to compare the success and postoperative complication rates of the novel non-transecting urethroplasty (NTU) technique and conventional excision-primary anastomosis (EPA) in the surgical treatment of short bulbar urethral strictures. Data of the patients who underwent excision-primary anastomosis or NTU procedures at our center for the surgical treatment of bulbar urethral strictures shorter than 3 cm between January 2010 and December 2018 were retrospectively reviewed. Forty-seven patients fulfilled the eligibility criteria for this study. Among these patients, 22 underwent NTU procedure while 25 underwent EPA. There was no difference between the two groups regarding age, stricture length, etiology, past surgical history, and duration of follow-up. The surgical success rates were 88% and 87,2% in the NTU and EPA groups, respectively (p = 0,603). The complication rates were 12% and 13,6% in NTU and EPA groups, respectively. Two groups were similar concerning complication rates (p = 0,603). The novel NTU and conventional EPA techniques are similar regarding surgical success and complication rates in the surgical treatment of bulbar urethral strictures shorter than three centimeters. 31. The Relationship between a Teachers Perception of Organizational Identity and Work Effort

The purpose of this research is to determine the relationship between a teachers’ perception of organizational identity and work effort. The study sample group consists of 392 teachers working in public and private schools in Başakşehir, Istanbul in the 2020-2021 academic year. In order to collect data in the research, the "Teacher Organizational Identity Perception Scale" developed by Tabak and Boyacı (2019) and the "Work Effort Scale" adapted into Turkish by Özdemir, A. (2013) were used. In this study, which was carried out using the relational screening method within the scope of the quantitative research method, the data was collected with a questionnaire consisting of three parts consisting of 22 questions. The collected data were analyzed with the SPSS 21 program. Since the data did not show normal distribution, the Mann Whitney U Test and the Kruskal Wallis Test, which are nonparametric tests were used in the analysis of the data. As a result of the research, it was determined that the teachers' organizational identity perceptions and work effort were at a high level. The difference in the communication sub-dimension between the teachers’ perceptions of organizational identity and the level of education variable was found to be statistically significant. However, there was no statistically significant difference in the teachers’ perceptions of organizational identity and work effort according to gender, years of seniority, educational status and type of institution. In addition, it was determined that teachers' organizational identity perceptions positively affected their work effort.

Teknolojideki gelişmeleri takip edip bunu eğitime uyarlamak her şeyden önce yaşanılan çağın bir gereğidir. Yeni nesile verilen eğitimin istenilen seviyede gerçekleşebilmesi de ancak bu takip ve uyarlama sayesinde mümkün olabilecektir. Teknolojinin dil öğretiminde kullanılması her geçen gün kendini yenileyen bir durumdur. Dil öğretiminde çeşitli videoların öğrencilerin farklı dil becerilerinin geliştirilmesinde kullanımı da bu çerçevede değerlendirilmelidir. Bu araştırmanın amacını, çağın yaratıcılığının bir ürünü olan reklam filmlerinin yabancı dil olarak Türkçe öğretimi derslerinde kullanımının öğrencilerin yazma becerisine katkısını belirlemek oluşturmaktadır. Daha önce yapılan çalışmalarda belirtildiği üzere, yazma becerisi öğrencilerin en çok zorlandıkları becerilerden biridir. Araştırma, yazma öğretiminin daha işlevsel bir süreçle daha verimli bir hale getirilmesini amaçlamıştır. Araştırma, nitel araştırma modellerinden Eylem Araştırması ( action research) modeline göre planlanmıştır. Araştırma hedefi kapsamında “Diller İçin Avrupa Ortak Öneriler Çerçevesi” (AOÖÇ) dikkate alınarak B1 seviyesine uygun olduğu düşünülen Türk Hava Yolları’nın 85.Yıl adlı reklam filmi seçilmiştir. Seçilen reklam filminden hareketle yazma etkinlikleri hazırlanmıştır. Hazırlanan etkinlikler Zoom uygulaması ile planlanan üç ders saatinde, Yüzüncü Yıl Üniversitesi TÖMER öğrencilerinden oluşan beş katılımcıya uygulanmıştır. Uygulama sonucunda araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan ve her araştırma sorusuna karşılık iki soruya yer verilen Açık Uçlu Soru Formu ( Ek 3) ile öğrenci görüşlerinden oluşan veriler elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen verilerden içerik ve betimsel analiz ile kod ve kategoriler elde edilerek araştırma soruları ve araştırma varsayımlarına cevap aranmıştır. Söz konusu araştırma sonucunda yabancı dil olarak Türkçe öğretimi derslerinde reklam filmi kullanımının öğrencilerin yazmaya yönelik olumlu tutum sergilemesinde, etkinliklere katılımlarında, kaygı ve motivasyonlarında olumlu anlamda katkı sağladığı tespit edilmiştir. Otantik bir materyal olarak reklam filmlerinin yabancı dil olarak Türkçe öğretiminde kullanımı çok duyulu bir öğretim sağlaması açısından da ayrıca önem arz etmektedir denilebilir. Following the developments in technology and adapting them to education is first of all a necessity of the age we live in. The realization of the education given to the new generation at the desired level will only be possible by means of this follow-up and adaptation. The use of technology in language teaching is a sitate that renovates itself day by day. The use of various videos in language teaching in developing students' different language skills should also be evaluated within this framework. The purpose of this research is to determine the contribution of the use of commercial films, which are products of the creativity of the era, to the writing skills of students in Turkish teaching lessons. As stated in previous studies, writing skill is one of the most difficult skills for students. The research aimed to make teaching writing more efficient with a more functional process. The research was planned according to the Action Research model that is one of the quantitative research models. Within the scope of the research objective, Turkish Airlines' 85th Anniversary commercial film, which is considered to be suitable for the B1 level, was selected considering the "European Common Recommendations Framework for Languages" (CEFR). Writing activities were prepared based on the selected commercial film. The activities prepared were applied to five participants of Yüzüncü Yıl University TÖMER in three lesson hours planned with the Zoom application. As a result of the application, the data consisting of student opinions were obtained with the Open-Ended Question Form (Appendix 3), which was prepared by the researcher and included two questions for each research question. Research questions and research assumptions were sought by obtaining codes and categories with content and descriptive analysis from the obtained data. As a result of the subject research, it was determined that the use of commercial films in the lessons of teaching Turkish as a foreign language contributed positively to students' positive attitude towards writing, participation in activities, anxiety and motivation. It can be said that the use of commercial films as an authentic material in teaching Turkish as a foreign language is also important in terms of providing a multi-sensory education.

Gazâlî İslam Düşünce Tarihinde gerek kendisinin gerekse içinde yaşamış olduğu toplumun krizlerine çözüm arayan, bunu da geliştirmiş olduğu düşünsel metotlar ve sofistik mülahazalar ile ister fiilî ister yazılı olarak sunan, zamansal ve mekânsal tüm kısıtları kendi ekseninde aşmış bir fenomendir. O, ihtiyaçları karşılayabilmek ve çözüme ulaşabilmek için tüm bilgi birikimiyle bilimsel disiplinler arası bir mevzide konuşlanmış, sahadaki tüm müktesebâta entelektüel bir meydan okuma gerçekleştirmiştir. Temsil ve mücadelesinde Eş’arî kelâmını, mantık felsefesini ve tasavvuf ahlâkını birer araç olarak, ustalıkla kullanır. Hepsinin temeline ise aklı -ortak bir zemin olarak- inşâ etmek ister. Yine bu çalışma vasıtası ile halen geçerliliğini koruyan problemlere dair Gazâlî döneminde yaşanan tartışmalardan elde edilen tecrübî bilgilerin günümüz dünyasına olası yapıcı ve somut etkilerinin okuyucu tarafından gözlemlenebilmesi de ayrıyeten hedeflenmiş bulunmaktadır. In the History of Islamic Thought, Ghazâli is a pioneer seeking solutions for the crises of his own or the ones of the society he lived in, presenting these solutions verbally or in written via intellectual methods and sophisticated remarks he developed. He has gone beyond all the time and location limitations on his own axis. Deployed in an interdisciplinary position with his fund of knowledge to meet the needs and reach the solution, he intellectually challenged all the body of knowledge in the field. He uses the kalams (islamic theology) of Ashari, the philosophy of logic and the morality of sufism expertly as tools in his representation and struggle. What he wants is to build mind as a foundation under all of these as a common ground. In this study, the formation and development of intellectual progress and apprehension of civilization of Ghazâli’s who undertook the most important political and social mission of his time and location were analyzed. Rather than the preferred tendency in this study is towards character and identity determination regarding the socio-political and political system of Abbasid Caliphate and Great Seljuk Empire. For this purpose, works related to the person, his era and the issues he mentioned were used as reference. The works Ghazâli’s compiled were prioritized. Consequently, it can be concluded that Ghazâli’s thinking evolved as reason of state shaped in accordance with continuity of the state under all circumstances and in all settings. It is also among the aims of this study to make the reader observe the constructive and concrete effects of the experiential knowledge obtained from the discussions made during the period of Ghazâli in the problems that continue to exist from past to today.

İlkokul çocuğunun gelişim özellikleri dikkate alınarak okullarda akademik, sanatsal ve sportif becerilerine yönelik zorunlu dersler yer almaktadır. İlkokul çocuğunun bedenen, zihnen ve sosyal yönden gelişimini sağlamak amacıyla müfredata alınmış zorunlu derslerden bir tanesi de Beden Eğitimi ve Oyun dersidir. Beden Eğitimi ve Oyun dersi ilkokullarda zorunlu dersler arasında yer alan ve sınıf öğretmenleri tarafından okutulan dersler arasındadır. Bu araştırmanın amacı; sınıf öğretmenlerinin Beden Eğitimi ve Oyun dersinin uygulanmasında yaşadığı sorunları belirlemek, dersin verimliliği hakkında fikir sahibi olmak ve yaşanan sorunlara çözüm önerileri sunmaktır. Bu amaca ulaşmak için çalışmada nitel ve nicel araştırmaların bir arada bulunduğu karma yöntem kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu, 2019-2020 öğretim yılında Tokat ilinde çalışan sınıf öğretmenlerinden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada önce nicel sonra nitel veriler toplanmıştır. Nicel veriler için örneklem olasılıklı örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlenmiştir. %95 güven düzeyi, 0,05 güven aralığına göre örneklem büyüklüğü 303 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Araştırma sürecinde 370 sınıf öğretmenine ulaşılması sebebiyle örneklem 370 olarak belirlenmiştir. Araştırmanın nitel verilerini elde etmek için amaçlı örnekleme yöntemi kullanılmış olup 14 sınıf öğretmeni ile görüşme yapılmıştır. Araştırmada öğretmen görüşlerini ortaya çıkarmak amacıyla "Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Dersine Yönelik Problem Belirleme Ölçeği" kullanılarak nicel veriler toplanmıştır. Nicel veriler toplandıktan sonra nitel verilerin toplanması amacıyla araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanmış ve uzman görüşü alınmış "Yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu" kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada toplanan nicel verilerin analizinde, betimsel istatistik (frekans, yüzdeler, standart sapma ve aritmetik ortalama) kullanılmıştır. Ayrıca sınıf öğretmenlerinin beden eğitimi ve oyun dersine yönelik görüşleri ve demografik değişkenler (yaş, cinsiyet, kıdem, okuttuğu sınıf) arasında anlamlı farklılık SPSS 22. paket programında analiz edilmiştir. Yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formundan elde edilen ham veriler betimleyici bakış açısına göre analiz edilmiştir. Öğretmenlerin yaşadığı problemler arasında cinsiyete göre herhangi bir farklılık bulunmazken yaş, mesleki kıdem ve okuttuğu sınıf değişkenlerine göre bazı farklılıklar bulunmuştur. Ölçek maddeleri analiz edildiğinde: Sınıf öğretmenlerinin yaşadığı uygulama problemleri arasında dersi uygulamak için sınıf öğretmenlerinin özel bir eğitim almaları gerektiği; fiziksel problemlerde okulların yeterli tesis veya malzemeye sahip olmadığı; önemseme problemlerinde derse branş öğretmeninin girmesinin daha yararlı olacağı; formasyon problemlerinde yüksek öğretimde alınan derslerin yeterli olmadığı konuları öne çıkmıştır. Araştırmanın nitel verilerinden elde edilen bulgulara göre sınıf öğretmenlerin yaşadığı sorunlar ve çözüm önerileri "Fiziksel ortam, mesleki, aile, okul çalışanları ve dersin programı-öğrenme araçları" temaları altında incelenmiştir. Nicel verilerde olduğu gibi nitel verilerin analizinde de okulların tesis ve malzemeleri sorunu ve öğretmenlerin lisans eğitiminden kaynaklanan sorunlar öne çıkmıştır. Ailelerin derse karşı ilgisizliği, dersin programının sınıf öğretmenleri tarafından kullanılmaması, okul çalışanları arasında malzeme ve alan kullanımından kaynaklı sorunlar başta olmak üzere birçok sorun tespit edilmiştir. Araştırma bulgularından elde edilen sonuçlara göre; Beden Eğitimi ve Oyun dersinde yaşanan sorunların giderilmesi adına yapılması gereken iyileştirmelerin yanı sıra gelecek araştırmalara yönelik öneriler de geliştirilmiştir. Compulsory courses for academic, artistic and sporting skills are included in the schools taking into account the developmental characteristics of the primary school child. Game and Physical Education lessons are one of the compulsory courses that have been taken into the curriculum in order to ensure the physical, mental and social development of primary school children. Game and Physical Education lessons are among the compulsory courses in primary schools and are taught by classroom teachers. The aim of this research is to determine the problems experienced by classroom teachers in the implementation of Game and Physical Education lessons, to have an idea about the efficiency of the course and to offer solutions to the problems experienced. In order to achieve this goal, the study employed a combination of qualitative and quantitative research. The study's working group consists of classroom teachers working in Tokat province in the 2019-2020 school year. First quantitative and then qualitative data were collected in the study. Sampling for quantitative data was determined by probabilistic sampling method. 95% confidence level and sample size 303 according to 0.05 confidence interval were calculated. Due to reaching 370 classroom teachers during the research process, the sample was determined as 370. The qualitative data of the study was determined by sampling method and 14 classroom teachers were interviewed. Quantitative data were collected using the "Problem determination scale for Physical Education and sports lesson" in order to reveal teacher views in the study. After the quantitative data has been collected, a "semi-structured interview Form" prepared by the researcher with expert opinion has been used for the purpose of collecting qualitative data. Descriptive statistics (frequency, percentages, standard deviation and arithmetic mean) were used in the analysis of the quantitative data collected in the study. In addition, significant difference between classroom teachers ' views on Game and Physical Education lessons and demographic variables (age, gender, seniority, the class they teach) was analyzed using SPSS 22. package program. The raw data from the semi-structured interview form was analyzed from a descriptive point of view. While there were no differences between the problems experienced by the teachers according to gender, some differences were found according to age, vocational seniority and the class variables they taught. When the scale items are analyzed: in application problems, there is a requirement that classroom teachers receive a special education in order to implement the lesson; in physical problems, schools do not have adequate facilities or supplies; in the problems of caring, it would be more useful to have a branch teacher in the class; in formation problems, the subjects of the courses taken in higher education are not sufficient. According to the findings from the qualitative data of the study, classroom teachers problems and solutions "the physical environment, vocational, family, school employees, and of course the program-learning tools" were examined under the themes of. In the analysis of qualitative data, as in quantitative data, the problem of facilities and supplies of schools and problems arising from the undergraduate education of teachers were prominent. Many problems have been identified, mainly due to the lack of interest in the class by the parents, the lack of use of the course program by the classroom teachers, and problems arising from the use of materials and space among school employees. According to the results obtained from the research findings, in addition to the improvements that need to be made in order to solve the problems experienced in Game and Physical Education lessons, suggestions for future research have also been developed.

Amaç: Son yıllarda makyavelizm, psikopati ve narsisizm kişiliğin karanlık yönü olarak birlikte ele alınmaktadır. Bu araştırmanın amacı Karanlık Üçlü Ölçeğini (Dirty Dozen Scale) Türkçeye uyarlamaktır. Yöntem: Ölçek uyarlama çalışmaları dört adımda gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu adımlar sırasıyla dilsel eşdeğerlilik çalışması, yapı ve uyum geçerliliği çalışması, yordayıcı geçerlilik çalışması ve güvenilirlik çalışmasıdır. Araştırmanın dört adımı %61'i kadın olan toplam 932 üniversite öğrencisinin katılımı ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Balıkesir Üniversitesi, Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü, İlköğretim Ana Bilim Dalı, Bu çalışma ortaokul öğrencilerinin Ses ile ilgili temel kavramlar üzerine bilgi düzeylerini ve öğrenciler de bu konuyla ilgili kavram yanılgılarının olup olmadığının belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın evreni ve örneklemini 2013-2014 eğitim-öğretim yılında Balıkesir İl Merkezindeki 2 okulda, Balıkesir İli, İvrindi İlçe Merkezindeki 1 okulda ve İvrindi İlçesine bağlı 2 köy okulunda öğrenim gören 8. Sınıftaki 127 öğrenci ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Ölçme aracı olarak 21 tane açık uçlu sorudan oluşan Ses Kavramsal Anlama Testi uygulanmıştır. Araştırmamızda nitel veri analizi yöntemlerinden içerik analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmamız da öğrenim sonrası uygulanan kavramsal anlama testi analiz edildiğinde öğrencilerde birçok kavram yanılgısı tespit edilmiştir., In this study, it is aimed to determine the secondary students' knowledge levels on basic concepts on sound and if there is misconception about it or not. The sample of this study is made at two schools in Balıkesir city center, at a school in İvrindi, a town of Balıkesir and at schools in two villages of İvrindi with 127 8th grade students during 2013-2014 Education Year. As a survey method, a test consisted of 21 open ended sound conceptual questions have been administered to students. In our study, concept analysis, one of the qualitative data analysis, has been used. When analysing adminisrated conceptual understanding test, a number of misconceptions have been determined.
