Pentingnya kemampuan literasi matematika atau numerasi menyebabkan banyak penelitian dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi matematika atau numerasi. Untuk memberikan hasil pemetaan tren penelitian agar menumbuhkan ide penelitian baru dalam topik literasi matematika atau numerasi, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengkaji tren penelitian tentang literasi matematika atau numerasi di Indonesia dengan menggunakan Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Artikel ilmiah yang dikaji merupakan artikel yang terbit pada Jurnal pendidikan matematika terakreditasi SINTA 1 dan SINTA 2 mulai Januari 2013 sampai Juni 2023. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa publikasi artikel terkait literasi matematika atau numerasi mulai Januari 2013 mengalami kenaikan mulai tahun 2018 dan tertinggi pada tahun 2022. Jenis penelitian yang paling banyak digunakan adalah kualitatif. RME adalah pendekatan pembelajaran yang sering digunakan dalam penelitian literasi matematika atau numerasi. Variabel lain yang sering dikaitkan adalah variabel budaya. Metode analisis data yang sering digunakan adalah statistika deskriptif dan instrumen penelitian yang sering digunakan adalah tes. Subjek penelitian yang paling sering diteliti adalah siswa kelas VIII. Rekomendasi penelitian yang dapat dilakukan kedepannya antara lain menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas (CAR) atau mixed method, memperluas subjek penelitian pada tingkat SD, kelas IX, SMA, S2, S3 dan guru untuk memberikan wawasan terkait kemampuan literasi matematika atau numerasi di jenjang tersebut The importance of mathematical literacy or numeracy skills has led to a lot of research being conducted to improve mathematical literacy or numeracy skills. To provide research trend mapping results to foster new research ideas on the topic of mathematical literacy or numeracy, research was conducted to examine research trends on mathematical literacy or numeracy in Indonesia using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR). The scientific articles studied were articles published in the accredited mathematics education journals SINTA 1 and SINTA 2 from January 2013 to June 2023. The research results show that the publication of articles related to mathematical literacy or numeracy from January 2013 experienced an increase starting in 2018 and was highest in 2022. The most widely used type of research is qualitative. RME is a learning approach that is often used in research on mathematical literacy or numeracy. Another variable that is often linked is cultural variables. The data analysis method that is often used is descriptive statistics and the research instrument that is often used is tests. The research subjects most often studied are class VIII students. Recommendations for research that can be carried out in the future include using classroom action research (CAR) or mixed methods, expanding research subjects at the elementary, class IX, high school, master's, and doctoral levels, and teachers to provide insight into mathematical literacy or numeracy skills at these levels.

Due to the environmental concerns, the application of natural FRPs to replace synthetic fibre as a strengthening material has increased. Kenaf fibre-reinforced polymer (KFRP) has comparable specific strength with glass fibre-reinforced polymer (GFRP). Moreover, epoxy resin is widely used as a matrix of composites and adhesives; however, it has low shear strength. Improvement of epoxy properties is therefore required, for example, by incorporating biofiller such as eggshells from household waste, which contain calcite, to improve its shear strength. Testing series includes variations of KFRP bond length, KFRP thickness and eggshell filler volume fractions. All the DSJ specimens underwent a two-stage testing process, experimentally and numerically. In Stage 1, experimental work was performed on the specimens through quasi-static tensile tests, following the ASTM D3528–96. In Stage 2, numerical studies were conducted to predict the strength using the extended finite element method (XFEM) within ABAQUS CAE. Subsequently, the strength prediction from developed 2-D FEA models was validated by the experimental datasets. All testing specimens exhibited KFRP rupture mode. For all the studied overlap lengths, the joint strength increased with the increase of the studied composite's adherend thickness (1 - 4 mm); however, the overlap length reached the optimum at the overlap length of 80 mm, where beyond that overlap length, the joint strength tended to decrease. The maximum joint strength is achieved with a combination of 80 mm bond length and 4 mm KFRP thickness, resulting in a 226.5% enhancement compared to the baseline (composite thickness of 1 mm, with adhesive without filler). Moreover, it was found that volume fraction of 5% eggshell was the optimum. The strength prediction was performed using an extended finite element method (XFEM), In general, there were good agreements in both experimental datasets and XFEM models, with discrepancies of less than 16.1% (averaging less than 8%). The FEA modelling approaches are promising for predicting the joint strength of KFRP/steel DSJ.

This research develops learning media with a Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics (STEAM) approach based on Augmented Reality (AR) to improve students' mathematical problem-solving abilities on geometric concepts. This method uses design-based research (DBR). The development stages consist of needs assessment and literature review, design and development, user testing to analyze user responses and evaluation and examination of the media devices being developed. The research subjects for expert tests included media experts and education experts, practicality tests for teachers, response tests for ten high school students, and examination stage tests for 30 high schools in Indonesia. The instruments used were media expert questionnaires, education expert questionnaires, practicality questionnaires, and tests. The media developed is called Augmented Reality Mathematics (ARM). The results of this research are 1) ARM media expert test in the very good category, 2) ARM educational media expert test in the very good category, 3) ARM media practicality test in the good category, 4) responses from students who use ARM media in the very good category, and 5) ARM media can improve mathematical problem-solving abilities in the moderate category. The findings of this research are that AR media is effectively used to improve students' problem-solving abilities in medium-category geometry concepts using the STEAM approach. This research concludes that using ARM media with STEAM learning can improve problem-solving abilities in geometric concepts.

This study examined the fracture and failed performance of foamed concrete materials by testing normalized notched beams under three-point bending via three methods: inverse analysis, digital image correlation (DIC), and finite element modeling (FEM). It also discussed both experimental and FEM characteristics. However, inverse analysis is only applicable for specimens with a notch height of 30 mm. Bilinear softening of the tested beams was estimated to identify the fracture energy (GF), critical crack length (ac), and elastic modulus (E). Additionally, the fracture toughness was calculated by adopting the double-K method (initiation fracture, unstable fracture, and cohesive fracture). Two-dimensional FEA modeling of the fracture was conducted using the traction-separation law (TSL), incorporating the extended finite element method (XFEM) and cohesive zone (CZM) techniques. A finite element sensitivity for the XFEM and CZM was performed, with the global mesh size of 2 and the damage stabilization cohesion of 1 × 10−5 showed good convergence and were used in other models. Further comparison of the DIC experiment findings with those from the FEM demonstrated good agreement in terms of crack propagation simulation.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the difficulties of junior high school students in solving flat sided space problems. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The instruments in this study were mathematical problem solving questions on flat sided geometric material, and interview guidelines. The subjects of this study were 9 students of grade VIII junior high school. Sampling in this study used purposive sampling, namely by taking samples based on certain criteria. The results showed that students with low abilities had difficulty understanding questions, making plans for solving them and having difficulties implementing strategies or procedures to solve these problems. Students with moderate and high abilities have been able to carry out the problem solving process well. The results of this study provide recommendations that can be made to overcome students' difficulties in solving word problems including, training problem solving questions, developing teaching materials based on problem solving, providing scaffolding especially for students with low abilities, implementing various models and approaches based on problem solving abilities and using media learning

Differentiated learning is a form of addressing the diverse learning needs of students paying close attention to readiness, learning profiles, interests, and aptitudes. This study aims to find out (1) the planning stage (plan) carried out by the mathematics teacher in implementing differentiation learning, (2) the (do) stage, the differentiation learning process applied in class, (3) the (see) stage, the form of assessment (evaluation). ) carried out by the teacher in the implementation of learning. The research method used is qualitative by collecting data through observation (learning videos) and interviews. The results of the research are that at the planning stage, the teacher does it by preparing everything that supports differentiation learning; at the do stage,e the teacher implements the learning that has been designed at the planning stage and the seeseedage, the teacher evaluates the learning process that has been carried out at the see stage both in terms of using the learning method as well as in terms of student understanding which is carried out to improve the learning stage in the future. In differentiation learning, this is adapted to the school's circumstances and the student’s abilities; one school may be different from another but has the same goal, and in differentiation learning, It must contain 3, namely differentiation of content, process, and product.

The goal of this research is to investigate models relating to psychological aspects of mathematics learning, such as math anxiety, scaffolding, math attitude, and working memory. This study included 548 junior high school students from public schools and Islamic boarding schools. The analytical method utilizes analysis of variance, bivariate product moment supported by SPSS, and Smart PLS 3 for path analysis. Model fit criteria (SMSR < .05; RMS Theta < .102; NFI > .9). The model fits based on the SRMR value .000 < .10 dan NFI 1 > .90. The findings show that students from public schools and Islamic boarding schools are different in terms of math anxiety, scaffolding and math attitude. Path analysis shows that math attitude mediates the interaction between math anxiety and scaffolding on working memory. Furthermore, scaffolding has a direct impact on working memory. The implications of the study's findings have been discussed in this article.

Learning that involved the daily life accompanied by interesting learning media can be used as an option to help students in learning, particularly in improving students' concepts understanding. It is possible to do by utilization of familiar media that are generally liked by students. One of them is comic. Therefore a research about learning by comic based realistic mathematical approach was carried out in order to find out its effect on improving the skills of students concepts understanding on fraction material. This study is a quasi-experimental research. The population of study are 7th grade students of SMP RK Serdang Murni Lubuk Pakam on Academic Year 2019/2020. The first class that consist of 31 students are categorized as the control class and the second class consist of 32 students are experimental class. The pre-test and post-test questions were provided as an instrument of study. The data were analyzed using the Anova and Welch Brown-Forsythe tests to proof the hypotesis. Moreover, normality test with Liliefors test and the homogeneity test with the Levene’s test. The results of this study stated that learning with comics-based realistics mathematical approach has a significant effect on improving the skills of students concept understanding.

The purposes of this research were to test the effectiveness of the use of assistive technology malitung (manik, tali, hitung) for learning outcomes of students with mild intellectual disabilities in basic arithmetic operations topic and describe their learning outcomes when using assistive technology malitung at Ungaran Public Special School. The method used in this research was Single Subject Research (SSR) with A-B-A design followed by qualitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques used in this research were observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The data analysis techniques used in this research were descriptive statistics, data reduction, data presentation, data interpretation, and conclusion drawing. There were 3 students as research subjects who were students of class IX-C at Ungaran Public Special School. The results of this study are that the learning outcomes of the three research subjects in terms of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects increased and reached category pretty good, good, and very good categories in learning using assistive technology malitung. These results were reinforced by very positive responses from Research Subjects 1 and 3 and positive responses from Research Subjects 2. The conclusions obtained were 1) the use of assistive technology malitung effective on the learning outcomes of students with mild intellectual disabilities on basic arithmetic operations material at Ungaran Public Special School, 2) basic arithmetic operations ability, curiosity, accuracy, responsibility, never give up, enthusiasm for learning, confidence, and interest in learning, problem-solving skills related to addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division operations were achieved in pretty good, good, and very good categories in learning by using assistive technology malitung.

In this study, we focus on self-disclosure, communicating mathematics, and infrastructure support in determining the ease of online learning for students of mathematics education study programs. The sample in this study were students (n=465) who were asked voluntarily to fill out an online questionnaire. Participants consisted of 335 female students (72%) and 130 male students (28%) from various universities in Indonesia. The data were analyzed quantitatively using structural equation modeling. The results of the path analysis show that the ease of online learning is influenced by self-disclosure, communicating mathematics, and infrastructure support. The R square results show that these factors influence 47%. Each path analysis shows that self-disclosure (r = 0.556 p= 0.000) and infrastructure support (r = 0.243 p = 0.000) have a significant positive relationship with the ease of online learning. Meanwhile, communicating mathematics (r = -0.025 p =0.507) has an insignificant negative relationship to the ease of online learning. Further research is needed to see how the impact of mathematical application support communicating mathematics in online learning.

The evolution of advancing computing technology has encouraged the use of finite element analysis to require constitutive models, mostly adopted extensive experimental datasets. Nevertheless, fewer material properties are required within the bilinear traction-separation relationship incorporated with the XFEM technique and require fewer computation efforts due to the energetic approach simulation. This study used ABAQUS CAE 2021 to predict the flexural strength of plain concrete beams strengthened with Kenaf Fibre Reinforced Polymer (KFRP) plates under a four-point bending test, later validated with experimental datasets. The varying parameters, including woven fabric architectures, lengths, widths, and plate thickness, were considered. The results demonstrated that the consistency proposed modelling technique in this study well-captured failure modes and crack development as experimental observations. All models demonstrated an increase in peak load, and a comparison of load-deflection profiles was made between the numerical FEA modelling with the experimental works. The peak load discrepancies between the numerical outputs and the experimental datasets were found to be less than 12% in all testing series. Despite promising findings, stress analysis on peel and shear stresses associated with failure modes exhibited was performed. It was found that KFRP ruptures occurred due to peel stress peak at plate mid-span, while shear mode failure demonstrates concentrated peel stress (to lesser extent shear stress) at KFRP edge tip. Hence, a more unified approach is promoted to require only two material properties (preferably independently measured values). This approach enables a designer to choose the optimum FRPs size using the current modelling tool, substantially reducing laborious and expensive experimental setup.

Learning trajectory of set is a learning path to get concept of set. However, several teachers did not combine methods, approaches, and ideas in their practical deliveries. This situation becomes a concern for teachers to handle since it will affect the rule without reason so that the accepted concept will not last long in students’ memory. This study aim to describe the learning trajectory using RME models to construct the concept of set. Hypothetical learning trajectory (HLT) was designed using a qualitative method with the realistic mathematics education (RME) of Gravemeijer model as the activity stage begin from preparing for the experiment, pilot experiment, teaching experiment and retrospective analysis. The designed HLT consisted of an objective, activity, and conjecture. This study achieved an understanding of the set concept with applying RME design. By providing examples of contextual mathematics that take place in the learning environment, these outcomes were achieved. Then using media like set cards to model mathematics so that students can advance their own knowledge to the level of formal mathematics. Therefore, the RME-based HLT design can be a solution to obtain the concept of set, primarily in domain definition and set notation to produce a learning trajectory.

Penyakit tidak menular masih menyumbangkan angka kematian tertinggi di Indonesia terutama hipertensi. Salah satu yang menjadi factor hipertensi adalah aktivitas fisik. Sampai saat ini hipertensi masih menjadi problem kesehatan khususnya di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Berbah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui derajat hipertensi, mengetahui aktivitas fisik, dan menganalisis hubungan aktivitas fisik dengan hipertensi di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Berbah. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 340 responden penderita hipertensi. Sampel penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purpoive sampling sehingga diperoleh sampel sebesar 68 responden. Fokus penelitian ini adalah kejadian hipertensi dan aktivitas fisik. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis menggunakan SPSS dengan uji Chi-Square. Hasil analisis menunjukkan Hipertensi dengan Derajat 2 sebanyak 62% lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan Hipertensi Derajat 1 yaitu sebesar 38%. Aktivitas fisik 54% beraktivitas cukup. Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara aktivitas fisik dengan hipertensi (P value = 0,029). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu penderita hipertensi yang kurang melakukan aktivitas fisik memiliki peluang 1,591 kali mengalami hipertensi derajat II jika dibandingkan dengan penderita hipertensi yang cukup melakukan aktivitas fisik.

This study aims to analyze a learning trajectory for social arithmetic using the culinary context of Yogyakarta and the results of the retrospective analysis as an application of the hypothetical learning trajectory. The research method used was design research with three stages, namely preliminary design, teaching experiment, and retrospective analysis. The research subjects who contributed to this study were sixth elementary school graders (11-12 years old) using the purposive sampling technique. The data collection techniques were documents (written data on students’ work), and participating-interview about students' thinking in mathematics during the learning process. Data analysis used retrospective analysis. The findings of this study indicate that this learning trajectory is beneficial in achieving learning objectives. The learning trajectory in this study can be considered as an alternative way or as a reference for teachers to design RME-based learning that supports the development of students' conceptual understanding, self-confidence using their strategies, communication, and reasoning skills about social arithmetic concepts. In addition, the learning process and the results of the retrospective analysis contain characteristics of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME).

Kegiatan pembelajaran bangun datar yang hanya menitikberatkan pada prosedur formal, tidak mampu mengembangkan lintasan belajar siswa. Oleh karena itu, pembelajaran bangun datar menggunakan konteks permainan tradisional menjadi salah satu alternatif yang dapat dilakukan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan learning trajectory siswa dalam mengkonstruksikan konsep luas bangun datar dengan menggunakan konteks bentuk papan permainan dam-daman sebagai titik awal pembelajaran. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif berupa design research. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah serangkaian aktivitas pada tingkat situational, referensial, general, dan formal. Pada tingkat situational, pemahaman awal secara langsung bentuk-bentuk bangun datar menggunakan bentuk papan permainan dam-daman. Tingkat referensial, siswa merepresentasi bentuk bangun apa yang ditemukan pada papan permainan dam-daman melalui representasi gambar. Tingkat general, siswa menghitung luas dari suatu bangun dengan menggunakan satu satuan luas yang telah ditentukan. Terakhir, tingkat formal, siswa merekonstruksi pemahaman mereka untuk menentukan rumus masing-masing luas bangun datar. Simpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa papan permainan dam-daman mampu merangsang siswa dalam mengkonstruksikan konsep luas bangun datar seperti persegi panjang, segitiga, jajar genjang, dan trapesium.

This research was motivated by the acceptance of one deaf student in the Department of Computer Science UNNES in the 2020/2021 academic year. Therefore, this research aims to provide the study with efforts to increase the absorption of deaf students in the inclusive class through the discovery of Assistive Technology. The method used in this research is Mixed Method with a qualitative and Research Development (RD) approach. Data collection includes class observations, interviews, triangulation of results, and stages of RD. Research activities include: (1) lecturer of mathematical courses made PPt files, filled in Lecturer's Voice, and filled in Sign Language. (2) Video tested in inclusive class. (3) Finalization of Assistive Technology Videos and the results were noted. Research Results: (1) multi-function video prototypes were obtained for deaf students in inclusive classes in mathematical courses. (2) There was an increase in the activity and absorption of students in the inclusive class. In conclusion, it is necessary to make assistive technology in the form of learning videos that contain sign language to increase the absorption of deaf students in the inclusive class in mathematical courses. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi telah diterimanya satu mahasiswa Tunarungu pada Jurusan Ilmu Komputer UNNES pada tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Oleh karena itu tujuan penelitian ini adalah memberikan kajian upaya meningkatkan daya serap mahasiswa Tunarungu di kelas Insklusif melalui penemuan Teknologi Asistif. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode mixed method dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan Research Development (RD). Pengumpulan data meliputi; observasi kelas, wawancara, triangulasi hasil, dan tahapan RD. Kegiatan penelitian meliputi: (1) dosen pengampu mata kuliah matematis membuat file PPt, diisi suara dosen, dan diisi Bahasa Isyaratnya. (2) Video diujicobakan di kelas Inklusif. (3) Finalisasi video Teknologi Asistif dan dicatat hasilnya. Hasil penelitian: (1) Diperoleh Prototip video Multi-Fungsi untuk mahasiswa Tunarungu di kelas Inklusif pada mata kuliah matematis. (2) Ada peningkatan aktivitas dan Daya Serap mahasiswa di kelas Inklusif. Kesimpulannya: Untuk meningkatkan daya serap mahasiswa Tunarungu di kelas Insklusif pada mata kuliah matematis, perlu dibuat Teknologi Asistif berupa video pembelajaran yang berisi Bahasa Isyarat.

This paper presents the numerical strength prediction of externally carbon fibre reinforced polymer (CFRP)- strengthened concrete beams using a traction-separation law. From reported experimental observations, the externally CFRP-strengthened concrete beams are prone to exhibit mixed-mode cohesive failure within the adhesive layer before beam separation. Testing series comprised of different strengthening schemes and CFRP plate length indicated that all specimens failed in cohesive delamination (debonding). This study performed a numerical modelling framework by using a combination of extended finite element method (XFEM) within the concrete beam and cohesive zone model (CZM) within the adhesive layer to explicitly demonstrate debonding phenomenon as seen in experimental observations. The results showed that the modelling technique was able to capture the debonding failure and the crack propagation of the concrete beam, consistent with experimental observations. Hence, the combination of the XFEM-CZM approach yields good agreements with experimental datasets. It was found that discrepancies of maximum load-bearing capacity between numerical modelling and previous experimental work are below 17 % were found in all testing series. However, due to the unavailability of fracture energy properties of tested concrete, the current approach used values of similar concrete grade from other literature. It is expected that better results would be obtained if the fracture energy of the investigated concrete beam was independently measured.

In this work, the effects of nano CaCO3 (NCC) on the water absorption, the tensile and impact properties of the unaged and aged unsaturated polyester resin (UPR) have been investigated. The specimens were aged in distilled water at room temperature. It was found that the water uptake and the diffusion rate of the NCC/unsaturated polyester composites tended to increase with the increase of NCC content, by about 15 and 31%, respectively, at the NCC content of 5 wt% compared to neat UPR. For the unaged specimens, the tensile strength was enhanced by adding the NCC of 1 wt% and tended to decrease beyond this content. For the aged specimens, the tensile strength tended to decrease with the increase of NCC content. Nevertheless, the elastic modulus of the unaged and aged specimens tended to increase up to the NCC content of 3 wt% and then decrease at the content of 5 wt%. The elastic modulus of the aged specimens was higher than those of the aged specimens due to water-embrittlement. The impact strength of the unaged and aged specimens tended to increase up to the NCC content of 5 wt%. However, the impact strength of the aged specimens was lower than those of the unaged specimens. The results suggested that the addition of 1 wt% NCC could compromise the tensile and impact properties of UPR both in unaged and aged conditions.

Kenaf fibre possesses excellent tensile strength and elongation at break and is suitable to replace synthetic fibres as reinforcing materials in FRPs composites. This research is aimed to develop an experimental programme to study the behaviour of strengthened concrete beams externally bonded woven fabric Kenaf FRP (KFRP) plates. A four-point bending test was conducted to explore the effects of KFRP plate variation, such as woven fabric architectures, KFRP lengths, KFRP widths, and plate thickness (with cross-ply layers) on plain concrete beams. KFRP plate significantly improved the ultimate load, deflection at peak, stiffness, and performance factor of the strengthened plain beams when kenaf volume fraction and KFRP plate dimensions increased. The best effect to increase plain concrete beam performance was seen in specimen D-PX4 (Series D) with ultimate load, deflection and stiffness are 84 %, 50 % and 36 % with an average performance factor is 103 % compared to control beam. Thus, the flexural strengthening of a plain concrete beam using a KFRP plate is found to be a good alternative technique.

In this new era, computational thinking is becoming increasingly intriguing for indepth study. The 2022 PISA framework illustrates that computational thinking can play a significant role in solving real-world mathematical problems, both in formulating problems and in mathematical reasoning processes. Many countries have integrated computational thinking into their curricula, starting as early as elementary education. The 2022 PISA framework marks the first time that substantial attention has been given to the intersection between computational thinking and mathematical thinking. Consequently, research was conducted to analyze the validation process, practicality, and effectiveness of using integrated computational thinking and mathematical practical design thinking to enhance students' computational thinking skills. The research results demonstrate that the integrated computational thinking and mathematical thinking learning design are highly suitable for implementation. According to expert judgment, its validity rate is 95.5%, with a practicality score of 93.75%. The instructional design applied in this study has proven to be effective in enhancing the computational thinking skills of elementary school students. It's important to note that this research is limited to elementary school students, and further studies are needed to explore this topic at higher education levels.

The ethnomathematics approach is considered effective on students' mathematics learning achievement. Integrating culture and mathematics can provide meaningful mathematics learning so that it makes it easier for students to understand mathematical concepts. However, previous research investigating the effectiveness of applying an ethnomathematics approach to mathematics learning achievement showed ambiguous results. Therefore, this study will test the effectiveness of the ethnomathematics approach to student achievement compared to conventional learning with a meta-analysis approach. This study analyzed 14 effect sizes from 11 primary studies published in national and international journals that met the inclusion criteria. Data collection uses the online database Google Scholar, Education Resources Information Center (ERIC), Directory of Open Access (DOAJ), Springer publishing, AIP Proceedings, IOP Sciences, and Elsevier. The results of the analysis using the random-effect approach obtained a combined effect size of (d=1.35; p<0.05). This value is included in the very large effect category. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of the ethnomathematics approach has a significant effect on students' mathematics achievement when compared to conventional learning. The findings of this meta-analysis show the consistency of the publication of research results regarding the effectiveness of using the ethnomathematics approach to student achievement. This research can also be used as a basis for decision making by educators in improving the quality of learning mathematics in the classroom.

The purpose of this study was to see how self-efficacy of students towards the learning process online amid the Covid-19 outbreak. This research is a descriptive study that describes self-efficacy based on the dimensions that exist in self-efficacy and is summarized and used as a measurement tool or instrument, namely the level (magnitude) associated with task difficulties, strength related to the effort made by students, and energy-related to space. the scope of student beliefs. The instrument used was a non-test in the form of a questionnaire self-efficacy consisting of 30 statements with 4 choices and 616 respondents. The result is that the dimensions of the level of Indonesian SMP / MTs students are in the medium category with a percentage of 55.04%, which means that when students are faced with difficult tasks during learning online, students can overcome them. The dimension strength is in the medium category with a percentage of 56.82%, this shows that the efforts and resilience of Indonesian SMP / MTs students in doing assignments in learning are online quite persistent and do not give up easily. The dimension generality is in the medium category with a percentage of 45.94%, which means that Indonesian SMP / MTs students' confidence in completing different tasks is quite good. In general, the self-efficacy of Indonesian SMP / MTs students in learning online is quite good.

Abstrak Komunikasi masuk dalam salah satu keterampilan abad ke-21 di framework PISA 2018 yang akan diukur. Selain itu tujuan pembelajaran matematika menurut Permendikbud bahwa salah satunya siswa mampu mengkomunikasikan gagasan serta mampu menyusun bukti matematika dengan menggunakan simbol matematika. Sehingga guru di tuntut untuk meningkatkan komunikasi siswa khusus di masa pandemi sekarang yang menerapkan pembelajaran secara daring (online). Sehingga tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mendeskripsikan kesulitan guru dalam membantu perkembangan komunikasi matematis siswa selama pembelajaran online. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif jenis Fenomenalogi. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara via wa dengan 12 guru SMP Sumatera Selatan. Analisis data yang digunakan ialah Miles dan Huberman dengan tahapan (1) pengumpulan data;(2) reduksi data dan penyajian; dan (3) menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada beberapa kesulitan guru dalam membantu perkembangan komunikasi matematis siswa yaitu : pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran, kondisi siswa dan ekonomi serta teknis pembelajaran online. The result show that there are several teacher’s difficuly in fostering students’ mathematical communication i.e : implementation of learning process, student conditions and techonology, economics. Kemampuan berpikir kreatif merupakan kemampuan yang diperlukan di abad 21 sehingga kemampuan tersebut merupakan hal yang perlu diperhatikan. Penelitian ini akan membahas tentang kesalahan siswa dalam menjawab soal tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis pada materi pecahan berdasarkan prosedur Newman. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kesalahan-kesalahan yang mungkin dilakukan siswa terkait soal-soal tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif materi pecahan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 13 siswa SMP di Pagaralam yang berada di kelas VII. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah descriptive-qualitative. Dalam hal ini, instrumen yang digunakan adalah soal-soal esai tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif dengan indikator-indikator yaitu kelancaran, fleksibilitas dan kebaruan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa melakukan kesalahan dalam Reading, Comprehension, Transformation, Process Skill, dan Encoding berdasarkan prosedur Newman. Penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa kesalahan dalam reading menyebabkan siswa tidak mencapai indikator kelancaran dengan maksimal. Kesalahan pada comprehension menyebabkan siswa tidak dapat mencapai indikator fleksibelitas dengan maksimal. Selain itu, pencapaian pada indikator kebaruan perlu didukung oleh kemampuan siswa untuk menjawab soal tanpa melakukan.kesalahan.

This study aims to (1) analyze Discovery Learning Setting Think Pair Share on mathematics learning achievement, (2) analyze the level of students 'reasoning towards mathematics learning achievement, and (3) determine the interaction of Discovery Learning Setting Think Pair Share and the level of students' reasoning on mathematics learning achievement. This type of research uses quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design. All grade VIII students of State Junior High School 1 Sambi were the population of this study. The sample in this study consisted of two classes, 31 experimental and 32 control students, with a sampling technique using cluster random sampling. Data collection techniques using documentation, tests, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used the ANOVA technique. Two ways with different cells. The results of the study with a significance level of 5% are (1) there is a good effect using Discovery Learning Setting Think Pair Share on students 'mathematics learning achievement, (2) there is a good effect of reasoning on students' mathematics learning achievement, and (3) there is no interaction between Discovery Learning. Think Pair Share setting and students' reasoning. Therefore, it is concluded that mathematics learning achievement can be influenced by Discovery Learning Setting Think Pair Share and reasoning. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menganalisis Discovery Learning Setting Think Pair Share terhadap prestasi belajar matematika, (2) menganalisis tingkat penalaran siswa terhadap prestasi belajar matematika, dan (3) mengetahui interaksi Discovery Learning Setting Think Pair Share dan tingkat penalaran siswa terhadap prestasi belajar matematika. Jenis penelitian menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain quasi experiment. Seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Sambi menjadi populasi penelitian ini. Sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari dua kelas dengan 31 siswa eksperimen dan 32 siswa kontrol, dan pengambilan teknik sampling menggunakan cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode dokumentasi, tes dan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik ANAVA dua jalan dengan sel tak sama. Hasil penelitian dengan tingkat signifikansi 5% adalah (1) ada pengaruh baik menggunakan Discovery Learning Setting Think Pair Share terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa, (2) ada pengaruh baik penalaran terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa, dan (3) tidak ada interaksi antara Discovery Learning Setting Think Pair Share dan penalaran siswa. Oleh karena itu, disimpulkan bahwa prestasi belajar matematika dapat dipengaruhi oleh Discovery Learning Setting Think Pair Share dan penalaran. The effects of volume fraction on the flexural characteristics of epoxy materials filled with cement, fly ash, and CaCO3 are discussed in this work. At a temperature of 50oC, water was used to soak the filled epoxies. It was discovered that the flexural modulus rose with the volume fraction for all fillers. However, the flexural strength of fly ash and CaCO3-filled epoxies tended to decrease with the increase in volume percent. The flexural strength of cement-filled epoxy somewhat improved with the increment volume fraction. According to those data, cement has a stronger interface than fly ash and CaCO3. In comparison to those in the dry condition, the flexural modulus and strength of all the epoxy systems dramatically decrease for the aged specimen. Epoxy that has been filled appears to lessen the reduction in flexural properties compared to that of neat epoxy. Again, the cement-filled epoxy performs better than fly ash and CaCO3. Halpin-Tsai and Pukánszky models have been successfully applied to model the flexural modulus and strength in the dry condition, respectively, but both models failed to predict those mechanical properties in wet condition.

Goal-free is a learning strategy to present a problem without specific questions, in contrary to a goal-given problem. This research examined the goal-free effects during mathematics collaborative learning measured by cognitive load ratings and transfer performance. An experiment was conducted in authentic mathematics classrooms employing a factorial design with 2 problem presentations (goal-free vs. goal-given problems) ´ 2 learning environments (collaboratively vs. individually) using a Geometry topic. This consisted of four consecutive phases: introductory, acquisition, near and far transfer tests. 111 seventh graders (Average: 12.8 y.o.) who were novices, participated voluntary. The findings showed that students who learned by goal-free problems had significantly higher far-transfer scores than when the goal was given. Interestingly, in the acquisition phase, the students in goal-free problems experienced significantly higher cognitive load than their counterparts. Further, it was found that overall, individuals scored significantly higher in a far-transfer test than those who learned collaboratively; however, during the acquisition phase individuals experienced significantly higher cognitive load than collaborative learning. No pattern of interaction effects was indicated. Overall, it was concluded that goal-free problems may be learned either collaborativelly or individually. Nevertheless, the goal-free problems stimulated higher cognitive load during learning, which seemed to have a positive influence.

Teachers’ diagnostic practice on students-difficulties is one of the important steps in designing and managing classroom lessons. The purpose of this study was to explore teachers’ perception and practices regarding diagnosing students’ learning difficulties. The participants of the study were 28 Indonesian mathematics teachers of Junior High School. The data was collected through a Focus Group Discussion and a teacher questionnaire. The data were analyzed qualitatively to describe how the teachers perceive learning difficulties and how the teachers diagnosed students’ learning difficulties. The results of the analysis reveal that the teachers do not yet perform an in-depth diagnosis of students’ difficulties in learning mathematics. The teachers only focus on the mathematics topics and non-mathematical issues, instead of on students’ thinking process. The teachers also do not differentiate the diagnosis, evaluation, and prediction test. With regard to the strategies used by the teachers to diagnose students’ difficulties, analyzing students’ responses to tests was the majority. In this respect, observing students’ learning process during classroom activities is rarely done by the teachers in the purpose of diagnosing students’ learning difficulties. The results of the diagnosis are mainly used as the basis for remedial and drill and practices. The results imply that more support is needed for teachers to improve their competences particularly in diagnosing students’ thinking process difficulties when learning mathematics.

This study aims to: (1) look for the highest and lowest values in number and algebraic material of Junior High School in East Lombok, (2) the percentage of errors made by students when answering math problems, and (3) the diagnosis of student’s misconception in doing number and algebra at Junior High School in East Lombok. This research is a quantitative- descriptive research. For the sampling technique, this study used purposive sampling. The test was conducted in five classes with 200 students as research participants. The sampling took into account the level of students’ ability and school readiness. The sampling size is 361 students from five schools. The data were in the form of students’ responses and those were analyzed using the Quest program. The results of this study are as follows. First, in terms of the difficulty index, 40 items (47%) are easy category items, 8% are medium category items, and 45% are difficult category items. Out of the 40 problems, 82% of the items have good difficulty index, while 18% are not good. Of the four alternative answers, 88% of the distractor is in a good category, and 12% are not good. Second, based on the students’ answers, the percentage of error is 52 %. Third, based on the result of the analysis using the Quest program, of the tow materials, the biggest misconception is in number with the percentage of 68%. The dominant error is in the indicator representing fractions in various forms, with a percentage of 22%.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan matematis, yang terdiri atas kemampuan penalaran dan representasi matematis siswa SMP di Kabupaten Indramayu, Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMP kelas VIII di Kabupaten Indramayu tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 390 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah stratified random sampling.Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik Tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistika deskriptif melalui dua cara, yaitu estimasi titik dan estimasi interval rata-rata untuk menentukan kategori ketercapaian pada masing-masing kemampuan matematis siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan matematis siswa SMP di Kabupaten Indramayu berada pada kategori sedang. Secara lebih spesifik rata-rata skor pada kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Begitu juga pada rata-rata skor kemampuan representasi matematis siswa berada pada kategori sedang. Exploration ability of mathematical reasoning and representation of junior high school students Abstract This study aimed to describe the mathematical ability, which consists of the ability of mathematical reasoning and representation in junior high school students in Indramayu, West Java Province, Indonesia. This research was using survey method with quantitative approach. The population in this study were all grade VIII students in both state and private junior high schools in Indramayu district in academic year of 2016/2017 and 390 students selected as sample research. The sampling technique was stratified random sampling. Data collected using test technique. Technique data analysis used descriptive statistics through two ways, namely estimation point and the average of interval estimation to determine the category of achievement in each of the students' mathematical abilities. The result showed that the mathematical ability of junior high school students in Indramayu district was in the medium category. More specifically the average score on students' mathematical reasoning abilities was included in the moderate category. Similarly, the average score of students' mathematical representation ability was in the medium category.

The purpose of this study is to develop a scale to measure honesty characters of students on mathematics learning using sucject scaling model. This development research is carried out in several steps namely: preparing initial scales, trials, and interpretation of trials result. The research is conducted on students of SMP N 5 Yogyakarta, SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta, and SMPIT Abu Bakar Yogyakarta. The first trial involves 688 students and the second trial involves 696 students. Content validity is obtained through expert judgment. The construct validity is determined by Lisrel’s second order CFA. Reliability coefficients include Omega coefficients (ω) and Alpha coefficients from Cronbach. Based on the results of this research, the scale to measure of student’s honesty characters consists of 15 items that theoretically and empirically proved to be of good quality. The scale has good content validity supported by V Aiken index of 0.88-0.92. The scale has good construct validity. Reliability of the scale is also good supported by both the Omega coefficient of 0.86.

The research was conducted at the Laboratory of Material Mechanics, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Mataram University. The purpose of this researchààdeterminedàthe effect of the Pack Carburizingàparameters (temperature, soakinàtime and carburizer media composition) on the thicknessàof calsium carbida layerà(CaC), which is formed on the surface of low carbon steel. The thickness of the calcium carbonate layer affects the surface hardness numberàof low carbon steel. This research used low carbon steelàgrade SS400 as the specimen. Carburizer media is a mixture of corncob charcoal powder and Pinctada maxima shellsàpowder (PMSP).àPacks Carburizing was carried out at various temperatures: 875 0C, 900 0C, soakingàtime: 1,2,3 hours and the percentage of PMSP on the carburizer media: 10%, 20%, 30%. The results of the research show that the temperature carburizing , soaking time and the addition of PMSPàaffect the thickness of the calcium carbide layer on the surface of SS400 steel which is subjected to pack carburizing process. This is indicated by an increase in the surfaceàhardness number of 421%, the wear resistance 62,2 %. àthe thickness of the calcium carbide layer 1050 õm, the formation of pearlite structure, at the carburizing temperature of 900 0C,àsoaking time 3 hours and 30% addition of PMSP.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika berupa RPP dan LKS untuk siswa SMP berbasis reciprocal teaching yang valid, praktis, dan efektif berorientasi pada antusiasme dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model pengembangan 4-D oleh Thiagarajan, Semmel dan Semmel dengan tahapan yang dilakukan meliputi: (1) pendefinisian; (2) perancangan; (3) pengembangan; dan (4) penyebaran. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mengonversi total skor data kuantitatif yang diperoleh menjadi data kualitatif skala lima. Subjek uji coba dalam penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa kelas VIII SMPN 24 Kota Bengkulu. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran matematika berbasis reciprocal teaching yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi aspek kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan ditinjau dari antusiasme dan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis. Kevalidan perangkat pembelajaran diperoleh dari hasil validasi ahli yang menunjukkan bahwa RPP dan LKS berada dalam kategori valid berdasarkan analisis Aiken dengan indeks pada RPP sebesar 0,63 dan LKS sebesar 0,62. Kepraktisan perangkat pembelajaran diperoleh dari penilaian guru dan siswa terhadap RPP dan LKS berada pada kategori mudah dilaksanakan dan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran guru dan siswa lebih dari 80%. Keefektifan perangkat pembelajaran ditunjukkan dari persentase siswa yang memiliki antusiasme minimal pada kategori tinggi mencapai 88,89% dan persentase ketuntasan berpikir kritis secara klasikal sebesar 80,00%. Developing Teaching Kits Based on Reciprocal Teaching Oriented to Enthusiasm and Student’s Critical Thinking Ability Abstract This research is aimed at developing a mathematics teaching kits consist of lesson plans and student’s worksheets for student’s of junior high school based on reciprocal teaching which is valid, practical, and effective oriented to enthusiasm and student’s critical thinking ability. This research was a research and development study which used the 4-D model developed by Thiagarajan, Semmel and Semmel included: (1) defining; (2) designing; (3) developing; and (4) disseminating. The data analysis of instruments was done by converting the total score of the quantitative data into qualitative data in rating scale of five obtained from the instruments. The try out subjects were teachers and class VIII student’s of SMPN 24 Kota Bengkulu. The result of the research shows that the developed mathematics teaching kits based on reciprocal teaching have met the aspects of validity, practicality, and effectiveness oriented to enthusiasm and critical thinking ability. The result of the validation shows that the lessons plan and the student’s worksheet are categorized as valid based on the Aiken analysis showing the index for the lesson plan 0.63 and the students’ worksheet 0.62. The developed mathematics teaching kits are practical based on assessment of teachers and student’s that are in the category of easily implemented and teacher and student’s learning achievement more than 80%. The effectiveness of learning instrument was proved by the percentage of student’s learning enthusiasm who have reached the high minimum category score is 88.89% and the percentage of critical thinking ability test is 80.00%.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar matematika berbasis masalah yang berorientasi pada kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dan prestasi belajar matematika, yang valid, praktis, dan efektif, pada materi lingkaran VIII SMP. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan. Model pengembangan yang dikembangkan diadaptasi dari model pengembangan ADDIE. Tahap-tahap yang dilakukan meliputi: tahap analisis, tahap perencanaan, tahap pengembangan, tahap implementasi, dan tahap evaluasi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi, lembar penilaian guru, lembar penilaian siswa, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis, dan tes prestasi belajar matematika. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa buku panduan guru yang dan buku siswa yang dikembangkan berada dalam kategori sangat baik dan baik. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan bahwa buku panduan guru dan buku siswa berada dalam kategori baik. Hasil uji coba berdasarkan tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan prestasi belajar matematika mencapai hasil masing-masing 72% dan 75% serta menunjukkan bahwa buku panduan guru dan buku siswa berada dalam kategori baik. Sehingga, disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar matematika berbasis masalah yang dikembangkan memiliki kualitas yang valid, praktis, dan efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dan prestasi belajar matematika siswa. Developing Problem-Based Mathematics Instructional Materials Oriented to Students’ Mathematics Problem Solving Skill And Mathematics Achievement Abstract This research aimed to produce a problem-based mathematics instructional materials oriented to students’ mathematics problem solving skill and achievement, which is valid, practical, and effective, on the topic of circle for VIII grade students of junior high school. This developmental research used ADDIE developmental model, including analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation step. The instrument used in this research were validation sheet, teacher assessment sheet, student assessment sheet, teaching observation sheet, test of students’ mathematics problem solving skill and achievement. This research produces problem-based mathematics instructional materials consisting teacher guide book and student book. The result of the validation shows that the teacher guide book and student book was very good and good. The result of the try out indicated that teacher guide book and student book were good. The result of the try out based on students’ mathematics problem solving skill and mathematics achievement reached 72% and 75%, showed that the teacher guide book and student book were good. It can conclude that a problem-based mathematics instructional materials was valid, practical, and effective oriented to students’ mathematics problem solving skill and achievement. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan model pembelajaran Treffinger dengan pendekatan open-ended dapat mencapai ketuntasan belajar dan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa kelas VII serta untuk mengetahui bagaimana deskripsi kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa ditinjau dari gaya belajar. Gaya belajar yang dimaksud adalah gaya belajar visual, auditorial, dan kinestetik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah mixed methods. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMPN 3 Ungaran dan pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan random sampling. Sampelnya adalah kelas VII-F dan subjek penelitian dipilih dengan teknik purposive, diperoleh 6 subjek yang terbagi menjadi 2 subjek pada setiap tipe gaya belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Treffinger dengan pendekatan open-ended telah mencapai ketuntasan belajar, (2) Model pembelajaran Treffinger dengan pendekatan open-ended dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis kelas VII dengan indeks gain sebesar 0,47 kriteria sedang (3) kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa dengan gaya belajar visual mencapai level 4 (sangat kreatif), (4) kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa dengan gaya belajar auditorial dan gaya belajar kinestetik mencapai level 3 (kreatif).

The aim of this study was to develop a construct of the instrument for junior high school mathematics teacher self-efficacy and its mapping in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The population was 816 junior high mathematics teacher and a sample of 274 teachers was selected through proportionate random sampling technique. The data were analyzed using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), using software Lisrel 8.80 through the first order and the second order stages. The result of data analysis toward four dimensions obtained: 11 fit items for dimension of personal efficacy (PE), 12 fit items for dimension of general teaching efficacy (GTE), 13 fit items for dimension of subject matter teaching efficacy (STE), and 8 fit items for dimension of outcome efficacy (OE). Afterward, the result of selecting 54 items in the first order stage was examined for the second order CFA which obtained Chi-Square = 297.58; df = 271; p-value = 0.12824; RMSEA = 0.019, which showed the model was fit to the data and obtained 25 fit items. The loading factors for each dimension PE, GTE, STE, and OE consecutively were: 0.46; 0.84; 0.89, and 0.92, and mapping of mathematics teacher self-efficacy level, which showed: 43.07% in low category, 55.47% in medium category (55.47%) and 1.46% in the high category.

The purpose of this study were to describe the mathematical communication skills and the confidence of grade X SMK students on Van Hiele model geometry learning based on their cognitive styles. It was a qualitative descriptive research. The subjects were 2 impulsive students and 2 reflective students which were selected with MFFT instrument. The data collection techniques were mathematical communication skills tests (written and orally), interviews, documentation, attitude scale and activity observation sheets. The results showed that both written and orally, reflective students were able to meet 5 indicators of mathematical communication skills, and less meet another indicators. While, impulsive students less meet all of the mathematical communication skills indictors. The impulsive students confidence was in the medium category. In contrary, the reflective students confidence was in the high category.

Mathematical talent serves as a supporting competency in the achievement of student goals, especially in mathematics achievements. This relates to the potential competencies possessed by students which can be improved by first detecting them, guiding, and training the students, and assessing the performance. This research is a phenomenology study which examines the experience of teachers in the habituation process of honing students' mathematical talents, especially fifth graders. Eleven participants, all teachers, were selected using a purposive sampling technique based on certain criteria and agreed to be interviewed virtually in a Zoom meeting. Data analysis using the Bodgan and Biklen model was conducted in several important stages, including data collection, data reduction with Nvivo 12 Plus, verification, and decision-making in the form of drawing conclusions as well as the essence of the teachers' experience. The results of the study showed that the efforts made by teachers to condition themselves to hone the students' mathematical talents were not yet optimal. Detection of mathematical talent was limited by selecting students with the highest test scores, whereas assessment and evaluation were carried out only based on the completion of the mathematical olympiad questions given by the teacher. Therefore, there is a need for further research to detect mathematical aptitude accurately and to develop a valid assessment model that is adapted to the cognitive level of elementary school students.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses pembelajaran matematika pada anak berkebutuhan khusus (ABK) slow learner di kelas inklusif SMP Negeri 7 Salatiga dalam mencapai keberhasilan belajar. Data penelitian ini adalah mengenai proses pembelajaran matemetika pada anak berkebutuhan khusus slow learner di kelas inklusif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data meliputi pengumpulan data,reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh hasil : (1) Guru mata pelajaran matematika sudah memahami karakterstik siswa slow learner secara umum. Tidak Terdapat perbedaan dalam Rencana Pelaksanan Pembelajaran (RPP) namun perencanaan tetap memperhatikan karakteristik siswa slow learner.(2) Dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran guru melakukan pengkondisian dengan mempersiapkan siswa secara fisik dan psikis. Penggunaan model, metode, media pembelajaran disamakan antara siswa reguler dan slow learner. Dalam pelaksanaan ada metode yang sudah dapat mengakomodir siswa reguler dan siswa slow learner, namun masih ada metode yang membuat siswa slow learner semakin mengalami kesulitan dalam belajar.(3) Kegiatan evaluasi dilakukan ketika satu materi bahasan selesai dan dilakukan denga tes tertulis maupun tes lisan. Hasil evaluasi digunakan sebagai acuan kegiatan tidak lanjut yang dilaksanakan di bimbingan khusus oleh Guru Pendamping Khusus (GPK).This study intends to unveil how mathematics-learning process in disabilities of slow learners in inclusive class of SMP Negeri 7 Salatiga achieves the learning goals. The data of this study is related to mathematics-learning process in disabilities of slow learners in inclusive class. This study employs qualitative method. The techniques of collecting the data are observation, interview, and documentation. The techniques of analysis vary on collecting the data, reducing the data, presenting the data, drawing conclusions and verification. According to the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that: (1) Mathematics teachers have known about the characteristics of slow-learners in general. There are no differences in the lesson plan (RPP), but the planning still considers the characteristics of slow learners in general. (2) During the learning process, teacher arranges the students by preparing them physically and mentally. The use of model, method, and learning media of regular students is equaled to the slow learners’. In the learning process, there are methods accommodating both regular students and the slow learners. However, there are some methods causing learning problems on slow learners. (3) The evaluation is carried out when a material has already finished, and it is done in written and spoken form. The evaluation results are then used as a reference of follow-up activities conducted with a particular help from guidance-specialized teacher (GPK)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hubungan kemampuan verbal, kemampuan interpersonal, dan minat belajar dengan prestasi belajar matematika siswa SMP. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian expost facto. Populasi penelitian mencakup seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP di Kabupaten Purworejo. Sampel yang berasal dari sembilan sekolah di tiga daerah ditentukan dengan cluster random sampling technique. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan angket. Hasil analisis menunjukkan kemampuan verbal, kemampuan interpersonal, dan minat belajar matematika secara bersama-sama berhubungan dengan prestasi belajar matematika siswa SMP, di mana kontribusi yang diberikan sebesar 38,60% serta persamaan regresi yang diperoleh ialah . Hubungan antara kemampuan verbal dan prestasi belajar matematika dengan kontribusi sebesar 23,62%; hubungan antara kemampuan interpersonal dan prestasi belajar matematika dengan kontribusi sebesar 1,64% dan hubungan antara minat belajar matematika dan prestasi belajar matematika dengan kontribusi sebesar 6,15%. The Relationship Among Verbal Ability, Interpersonal Ability, Interest in Learning, and the Mathematics Learning Achievement Abstract This study aims to describe correlation among verbal ability, interpersonal ability, interest in learning, and the mathematics learning achievement of junior high school (JHS) students. This study was a quantitative expost facto study. The population comprised all Year VIII students of JHS in Purworejo District. A sample consisting of nine schools from three areas was established using the cluster random sampling technique. The data were collected through a test and Likert-scale questionnaires. The results showed that verbal ability, interpersonal ability, and interest as an aggregate correlate with the learning mathematics achievement of JHS students, with a contribution of 38.6% obtained by the regression model Y = -1.385 + 0.635X1 + 0.039X2 + 0.085X3, the verbal ability and mathematics learning achievement with the contribution of 23.62%; the interpersonal ability and mathematics learning achievement with the contribution of 1.64%; and interest and mathematics learning achievement with the contribution of 6.15%. Kerentanan (Vuinerability) adalah keadaan atau kondisi yang dapat mengurangi kemampuan masyarakat untuk mempersiapkan diri menghadapi bahaya atau ancaman bencana. Logika Fuzzy adalah cara untuk memetakan suatu ke dalam suatu ruang output. Salah satu aplikasi logika Fuzzy adalah untuk menentukan kerentanan daerah banjir di Semarang Utara. Pengujian dilakukan dengan metode Mamdani Fuzzy Inference System. secara manual dan program menggunakan 5 defuzifikasi, yaitu Centroid, SOM (Smallest Of Maximum), LOM (Large Of Maximum), MOM (Mean Of Maximum), Bisector. Dari 2 contoh kasus diperoleh hasil pengujian dengan kesimpulan yang sama.

Structural adhesives have been widely used to join metal to metal, and metal to composite in automotive and aircraft structures. However, the adhesive is susceptible to water absorption from the surrounding environment and this affects the mechanical properties of the adhesive, leading to reduction in the performance of the structure. This paper investigated the water absorption and desorption behaviour of FM 73M structural adhesive film and its effect on the tensile properties. The adhesive was immersed in deionised water at a temperature of 50oC. A gravimetric method was carried out to obtain the water uptake. Dog bone specimens were used to investigate the residual tensile strength of the adhesive. Finite element modelling was performed to model the spatial moisture distribution in the adhesive and the residual tensile strength after having absorbed water. It was found that the water absorption of FM 73M deviated from Fick's second law, however the desorption behaviour followed Fick's second law. The tensile properties of the adhesive (the tensile strength and the elastic modulus) tend to decrease with the increase of water content and they are recovered after desorption at the same temperature as the absorption. The residual tensile strength was predicted using a continuum damage approach combined with environmental degradation. Good agreement has been found between the predicted and the experimental results.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran bangun ruang dengan pendekatan Creative Problem Solving yang berkualitas baik berdasarkan kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan dengan model pengembangan Four-D yang diadaptasi dari Thiagarajan, Semmel, dan Semmel yang memuat tahap define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Penelitian ini menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran yang terdiri dari Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), Lembar Kegiatan Siswa (LKS), tes prestasi belajar, dan tes kemampuan penalaran matematis. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa perangkat yang dikembangkan memiliki kategori sangat valid untuk masing-masing RPP, LKS, dan tes. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan bahwa RPP dan LKS yang dikembangkan memiliki kategori praktis dan efektif. Kepraktisan mencapai kategori sangat praktis berdasarkan penilaian guru dan mencapai kategori praktis berdasarkan hasil observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan penilaian siswa. Keefektifan mencapai kategori efektif berdasarkan ketuntasan belajar siswa. Secara klasikal ketuntasan tes prestasi belajar mencapai 76,67% dan tes kemampuan penalaran matematis mencapai 90%. Kata kunci: pengembangan, perangkat pembelajaran, Creative Problem Solving Developing of Solid Instructional Package with Creative Problem Solving Approach Abstract The aim of this research was to produce the solid instructional package with Creative Problem Solving approach which have good quality based on the validity, practicality, and effectiveness criteria. This study was a research and development using the developmental model adapted from Thiagarajan, Semmel, and Semmel included define, design, develop, and disseminate stages. This study produces instructional package consists of lesson plans, student worksheets, achievement tests, and mathematical reasoning tests. The results of the validation showed that the developed package is very valid based on lesson plans, student worksheets, and tests. The results of the tryout indicated that lesson plans and student worksheets are practical and effective. The practicality was in very practical category based on teacher’s assessment and practical category based on the implementation of learning and student’s assessment. The effectiveness was in the effective category based on student’s learning mastery. In the classical mastery learning it reached 76.67% for achievement and 90% for mathematical reasoning. The importance of literacy is a competency requirement that must be possessed by students to face competition in the 21st century. This is directly related to the extent to which students' scientific thinking processes understand and solve problems. This study aims to describe how literacy is trained in learning in junior high schools. The approach used is a qualitative approach with the type of phenomenological research. The participants in this study were 5 junior high school teachers who teach in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Data was collected through virtual interviews with the help of the Google Meet platform. The data analysis model used is the model of Bogdan and Biklen with data collection procedures, data reduction, verification and conclusion. The results showed that literacy was trained on students with the habit of reading textbooks for 15 to 30 minutes every day by reporting their readings in student journals, teacher efforts in changing project and problem-based learning methods and strategies according to student conditions, and teacher habituation in providing HOTS level questions to train students' critical thinking processes, balance theoretical understanding and understand the surrounding environment.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan model pembelajaran CORE berbantuan strategi studi kasus terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dan karakteristik berpikir kreatif siswa SMP Negeri 3 Temanggung kelas VIII. Metode penelitian adalah mixed methodology model concurrent embedd. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 temanggung tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Proses pengambilan sampel dengan teknik simple random sampling, dan diperoleh kelas VIII B sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII E sebagai kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen diberikan pembelajaran model CORE berbantuan strategi studi kasus, sedangkan kelas kontrol diberikan pembelajaran ekspositori. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan wawancara. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji banding, uji proporsi, uji perbedaan dua rata-rata, uji gain, dan analisis kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan model pembelajaran CORE berbantuan strategi studi kasus efektif yaitu kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas eksperimen mencapai ketuntasan, lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol dan meningkat. Karakteristik berpikir kreatif siswa SMP Negeri 3 Temanggung dalam menyelesaikan soal yaitu siswa cenderung (a) berhenti mengerjakan soal ketika siswa mengalami kebuntuan dalam mengerjakan; (b) mengerjakan soal dengan satu cara; (c) mengerjakan soal dengan cara yang sudah diberikan; (d) menjawab dengan rinci ketika mengerjakan soal yang sulit; (e) menjawab dengan langsung ketika soal mudah dikerjakan.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan model pembelajaran learning cycle 7E efektif terhadap minat belajar dan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa kelas X. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MIA SMA N 2 Kendal tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 yang terdiri dari 4 kelas. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah random sampling. Terpilih dua kelompok sampel, yaitu kelas X-4 sebagai kelompok eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran learning cycle 7E dan X-5 sebagai kelompok kontrol yang menggunakan model pembelajaran ekspositori. Analisis data akhir menggunakan uji normalitas, uji kesamaan dua varians, uji proporsi, uji kesamaan dua rata-rata, dan uji gain.. Diperoleh hasil bahwa penggunaan model Learning Cycle 7e dapat menjadikan: (1) kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa mencapai kriteria ketuntasan, (2) kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa lebih baik daripada kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran ekspositori dan (3) menjadikan minat siswa terhadap aktivitas belajar matematika lebih tinggi daripada minat siswa terhadap aktivitas belajar matematika yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran ekspositori, sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa model pembelajaran learning cycle 7E efektif terhadap minat belajar dan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa kelas X.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keefektifan pembelajaran dengan model ARIAS berbasis etnomatematika terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Slawi tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Dengan teknik cluster random sampling, terpilih kelas VII-9 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VII-8 sebagai kelas kontrol. Metode yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data yaitu dokumentasi, tes, angket, dan observasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji proporsi, uji beda dua rata-rata, dan regresi linear ganda. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran ARIAS berbasis etnomatematika tuntas, kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran ekspositori tuntas, rata-rata kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa pada pembelajaran menggunakan model ARIAS berbasis etnomatematika lebih baik dari rata-rata kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada pembelajaran menggunakan model ekspositori, keterampilan proses siswa dan sikap cinta budaya lokal siswa secara bersama berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Jadi disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran ARIAS berbasis etnomatematika efektif terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa.
