Abstract

Nanopowders doped with silver were produced by the method of pulsed electron beam evaporation. The pore sizes of the nanoparticles were 25-32 nm. Evaluation of photocatalytic and cytotoxic properties on cells was carried out. The prospects of using multimodal nanopowders as a photocatalytic agent, as well as for use in medicine, have been shown. © 2021 Institute of Physics Publishing. All rights reserved. Abstract

Improved methods of processing food and agricultural products make it possible to achieve an optimal effect at an acceptable level of its quality. In radiobiology, Methods of synergistic effect of two factors are widespread, in particular, the combination of treatment with ionizing radiation (IR), UV and plasma. The use of these methods in the production cycle can significantly improve processing efficiency. In the present work were treated combined feeds of ‘PK-5’ and ‘PK-6’ in order to investigate the synergistic effect of IR treatment and high pressure gas discharge plasma (HP GDP) radiation. As the source of IR was used the nanosecond electron beam (NEB) of the accelerator URT-1 (1 Mev). To create the HP GDP was used a high-voltage nanosecond generator GVI-150 (150 kV). The obtained results indicate the presence of a synergistic effect of the combined effects of plasma radiation and NEB. © 2021 Institute of Physics Publishing. All rights reserved.

40. Preparation of Silver Coated Oxide Nanomaterials and Study of Their Properties

Abstract

Nanopowders of aluminum oxide silicon oxide and iron oxide with silver coating were produces by the radiation-chemical method. The dimensions of the nanoparticles were 50 to 80 nm, and the area can be changed from 2-3%, up to 40%. Was carried out the validation of antibacterial properties against E.coli and staphylococcus. Were estimated photocatalytic properties of nanopowders, which showed applications perspective as a photocatalytic agent. Cytotoxic properties were also investigated, which showed the relevance of the use of some the obtained composites for targeted drug delivery. © Journal of Physics: Conference Series 2021.

Abstract

To product aluminum oxide coated with silver, a radiation-chemical method was used using a nanosecond electron beam. Studies of antibacterial properties have shown the effec-tiveness of Al2O3Ag96 against strains of E. coli and S. aureus bacteria. Abstract

Mesoporous multiphase amorphous–crystalline Bi2O3 nanopowder with the specific surface area of 23 m2/g is obtained using pulsed electron beam evaporation in vacuum. The influence of thermal annealing (200–300°C) of the powder in air has been investigated. Droplets 2–5 nm in size are formed on the surface of all large nanoparticles comprising the framework of 3D agglomerates of the nanopowder due to extrusion of liquid bismuth from bulk upon cooling. 46. Targeted drug delivery system based on manganese-doped mesoporous silica nanopowder

Abstract

The purpose of the research was to investigate the potential of using SiO2-MnO2 nanopowder, obtained by electron beam evaporation, as a drug delivery system. The evaluation of the sedimentation stability of suspensions was conducted for further in vivo studies. It was established that PEG stabilized suspensions showed the highest stability. Drug loading and release experiments with nanopowders demonstrated a high drug loading capacity of Amoxicillin and Doxorubicin.
