The subject of this paper is an analysis of sports insurance options in the Republic of Serbia. Given the importance of sport in modern society, which manifests itself through its educational effects and the great capital it brings, the principle of freedom to play sports is at its peak. Injuries and illnesses of athletes are becoming more and more frequent as they face increasing demands and challenges. It is obvious that every year, day by day, more and more demands are placed on athletes and the exposure to injuries is increasing. The primary purpose of sports insurance is to provide economic protection to insured individuals (athletes, coaches, referees) and legal entities (sports organizations, federations, clubs) from the negative consequences of injury to athletes and the loss of income that athletes earn, but also their clubs in the case of a club competition, which occurs when the risk is realized, that is, the insured event occurs.

The insurance market has a significant impact on the development of economy of each country and it is an important factor of the stability of the financial sector. The insurance market in Serbia is underdeveloped and according to the degree of development, it is well below the average of the European Union member states. This is reflected in the indicators of the development of the insurance market - the ratio between total premium and gross domestic product and total premium per capita. The insurance market in Serbia belongs to a group of emerging markets with significant potential, primarily in the sphere of life insurance. The growth rate of the life insurance market in Serbia was different and it used to be prone to external and internal influence of various factors. Pursuant to the Insurance Law and the Law on Amendments to the Law on the National Bank of Serbia from 2004, supervision over the performance of insurance activities was entrusted to the National Bank of Serbia. In 2004, it defined and disclosed its strategic goal in the field of insurance - creation and maintenance of a safe and stable insurance sector and provision of public confidence in the insurance sector, in order to protect the interests of policyholders and third parties. In accordance with its legal authority, the National Bank of Serbia adopts the acts defined by law, exercises supervision over the performance of insurance activities, issues and revokes licenses for performance of insurance activities, reinsurance, insurance brokerage and activities directly related to insurance activities, gives consent to acts, gives and withdraws approval for appointment of members of the management and supervisory board, grants and revokes the approval for acquiring qualified participation in the company, processes statistical and other data, keeps data registers in accordance with the Law, considers complaints of policyholders and third parties to the work of insurance companies, including conducting mediation.

The objective of this paper is to present the importance of information and communication technologies (ICT) for the development of insurance companies business, and in particular distribution of insurance products that relies on ICT, primarily the Internet. The special place here is reserved for internet marketing, which is most commonly used in insurance companies. Mobile communications introduce the biggest changes in e-commerce. Nowadays their distribution among consumers offers great opportunities for service providers. Currently, insurance companies in our country do not offer their services through this specific communication channel. However, in the very near future changes can be expected in this sphere because preconditions for such activity already exist in Serbia today. This is supported by the information that certain insurance companies in the countries in the region have already activated their first applications for smartphones, and similar applications for banking already function in Serbia.

The paper describes the importance of information and communication technology for the development of the insurance companies, with special emphasis on the current development and potential for further development of marketing, and the distribution of insurance products in particular, which relies on information and communication technologies, especially the Internet. A special place here is reserved for the internet marketing as the most common of Internet uses among insurance companies. Transforming business processes so that they comply with the principles of electronic commerce will in the neaar future become common even in smaller businesses, formerly conservative financial institutions, e.g. insurance companies, are increasingly turning to e-insurance which, despite high costs of its introduction and initial problems in the operation, are to be relied upon in the near future. Therefore, in many countries, it is becoming accepted, to a greater or lesser extent. Mobile communication brings the biggest changes in electronic commerce. Even today, its prevalence among consumers offers great opportunities for service providers. Insurance companies in our country at this moment do not offer their services through this specific communication channel, but in the very near future changes can be expected in this field, due to the fact that the prerequisites for that exist in Serbia. This is supported by information that some insurance companies in the neighboring countries have already activated their first applications for smart phones and similar applications in the Serbian banking industry already exist.

In most countries and especially in 'countries in transition', the pension insurance systems are in crisis and they are trying to establish a model of sustainable functionality through reforms. In the period from 2001 to 2014, Serbia was reforming the pension system in order to deal with all the problems like: high deficit, debt, employees - pensioners ratio, negative demography, etc. In this paper, we have shown the research results in order to evaluate the opinions of the citizens of Niš about the existent compulsory pension insurance and the trust in private insurance, as well as to hear opinions on the need for the additional reforms of the system. The Hypo thesis Ho has been proven true: The citizens are not satisfied with the existent state of the retirement insurance, they think that the pension fund is empty and that it cannot guaranty reliable pensions. That means that reforms, taken until now, were not enough and that they need to be continued.

Life is a natural course, full of the uncertainty and temptation of every human being. In order to make our lives peaceful and have a peaceful future, we try to provide various ways to ensure that we make our lives safer. The pension insurance system is very important for every country from a social, economic and financial point of view. Pensions are primarily a social category because they represent the income of people who are unable to earn a living due to age or illness and as such reflect the social function of the state. In most of the transition countries, reforming processes in the field of pension insurance have been initiated or are under way in order to establish a sustainable functioning model. In Serbia, in the period from 2001 to 2016, attempts were made to reform the pension insurance system in order to solve the inherited unfavorable situation, but still without significant effects. An integral part of the paper is the results of the research conducted with the aim of obtaining the attitude of Belgrade residents about the existing mandatory pension insurance and trust in the same, as well as the view on the need to take additional measures and activities in order to realize a comprehensive reform in the field of pension insurance. Starting from the established goal of the research, it can be concluded that the hypothesis was established that the inhabitants of Belgrade are not satisfied with the existing situation in the pension insurance system, that they consider the pension fund to be vacant and that as such it does not guarantee safe pensions. This indicates that additional measures and activities of the competent state authorities and institutions should be undertaken in the forthcoming period in order to fully implement the projected reform goals in the field of pension insurance.

The aim of the research in this paper is the process of selling insurance services, as the most important business area of every insurance company. This process is viewed from the marketing and distribution angle in classic insurance sales through traditional sales channels. The insured must be at the center of all future insurance activities of the insurance company. Satisfying the needs of the insured is a basic precondition for the successful sale of insurance services, so for every insurance company it is necessary to implement this in its strategy through business policy and business culture. The insurance service can be distributed by different sales channels. It is important that these sales channels ensure the availability of the insurance service at the right time, in the right place and in the appropriate quantities. The paper deals with classical marketing and traditional distribution channels in the function of insurance sales.

INSURANCE companies ,CLIMATE change - Abstract
Climate changes have a strong negative impact on the insurance sector, which is reflected in the slow development of the insurance sector and in the transfer of the greater part of risk on the state and individuals. The difference between collected and paid premiums on the basis of incurred losses is rapidly decreasing, which leads to the fact that insurance market is less and less capable of absorbing the losses associated with climate changes, which then has negative repercussions on the availability of insurance services at an affordable premium. The question of establishing potential long and short-term effects of climate changes on business activities of insurance and reinsurance companies represents a priority and its ultimate objective is to find ways to minimize risks and losses. The problem of climate changes represents an important social problem in today's civilization. At the same time, it is also an ecological problem, but also economic, political, social, cultural, health, etc. It is a global ecological problem, hence we can speak about global climate changes which affect states, nations, continents regardless of where they are and how responsible they are for creating and sustaining these changes [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Social Capital ,Legatum Prosperity Index ,The Republic of Serbia - Abstract
The most important lecture we all need to learn from the literature investigation and research conducted so far on the topic of social capital is how the ways and conditions bonding people to the others imply on to the community welfare, regardless of the fact if they live in rich or poor countries. Numerous findings appeared independently in interdisciplinary social research which correspond to a contemporary perspective in social capital understanding. It refers to the findings how a community plentiful in social capital achieves better economic results and has no need for omnipresent and wasteful state government. This type of social community is not marked by a high corruption level and unnecessary social expenses and issimultaneously very well bonded and self-organised as acontrolling and corrective body of the state government. Social capital structured out of social and institutional trust brings people together for collaboration, association and collective action. Thus reaching and achieving collective interests abandoning far beyond the individual action frame contributes to societal and legal norm collective respect. This paper is based on the conjoint data of the Legatum Prosperity Index through the correlationresearch of social capital and Prosperity Index as well as nine belonging subindices in 149 countries of the world: Economic Quality, Business Environment, Governance, Education, Health, Safety & Security, Personal Freedom and Natural Environment in order to determine the closest bond of Social capital to the indexes named. The paper shows social capital index movement from 2007 until 2018 and places The Republic of Serbia on the global social capital indexscale.
