The article centers on two novels by Italian writer Antonio Tabucchi--Requiem: A hallucination and For Isabel: A mandala. It analyzes the polysemic elements that constitute the symbolic construction of both works, supported by the main tenets of Jungian psychology and in particular the notions of coniunctio oppositorum, individuation, and journey of self-discovery. The investigation explores the relationship of Tabucchi's narrative with works by Ferdinando Pessoa and Herman Hesse. Homologies between the author's view of the self, cognition, human reality, and the formal structure of the novels are examined through the Bakhtinian notion of dialogical narrative and through his metaliterary and self-reflexive mode of writing. This text seeks to analyse the configuration of the modern individual and their key characteristics as an autonomous agent, much as their segmentations as either person and subject, within the framework of the theory of departure from religion or the disenchantment of the world, developed by the French philosopher Marcel Gauchet. At first, we shall present some aspects that have propelled the emergence of the modern individual and the main traits defining them. Subsequently, we shall explore the key notions which encompass the concept of "person" and its correlations with the unfoldings arising from the actions of the individual. Finally, we examine the position of the modern subject as a result of interconnected development and social affirmations tied to the ways and procedures of the individual and of the person, besides their implications being vectors of the historical process of departure from religion. The term persona carries a formal conceptual flexibility capable of framing or encapsulating any individual, thing or something, either by its authorial property (particularity of a natural person, which I will call here P¹), or even by factors specific to its fictitious representation (artificial person or fictitious persona: P²). Resumo A proposta deste artigo é fazer uma discussão a respeito do que é denominado na região do alto rio Negro de ‘nome sagrado’, a partir da experiência etnográfica junto ao povo Yuhupdeh e tomando o benzimento de nominação como ponto de partida. Os ‘nomes sagrados’ são nomes próprios dados após o nascimento, escolhidos a partir de um estoque específico correspondente a cada grupo e conforme um princípio de senioridade que estabelece uma escala orientada pela ordem de nascimento – do irmão maior para o irmão menor. Ao mesmo tempo, eles também são designados de sopro de vida (na língua Yuhup, se diz hãg-wäg) e devem ser cuidados e protegidos para que possam crescer junto com as pessoas que os carregam. Mais do que abordar os nomes apenas como categorias classificatórias de parentesco ou prerrogativas – que determinam posições entre as pessoas através do gradiente da senioridade –, pretende-se abordá-los a partir daquilo que ativam, fazem e associam.

O artigo fornece alguns elementos de reflexão para traçar o esboço de uma teoria da pessoa em Max Picard.Teoria que no filósofo suiço deve ser entendida no sentido original de olhar e atenção ao que se mostra e que assume pois, em relação à pessoa um valor heurístico particular, se se admite (como a história da palavra sugere) que a pessoa se constrói também em torno de um aparecer. A crítica da fisiognomonia e a análise da dimensão visual do silêncio no rosto permite a Picard superar todo reducionismo e mostrar o traço da dignidade humana e a profundidade pessoal inscrita na própria ordem fenomenologica. Daí emerge uma reavaliação do estatuto ontológico do homem, mas ao mesmo tempo uma redefinição da noção de imagem. Assim, o olhar picardiano sobre a pessoa torna-se também uma crítica implícita à lógica da superexposição do visível que parece dominar a abordagem contemporânea do humano, quer seja ao nível científico ou na sociedade da imagem.

Este texto propõe (re)equacionar a pessoa como um rosto-alma, numa comunidade de sentido, face à cultura da imagem e da virtualidade, da cultura e sociedade contemporâneas, que têm fragmentado o homem e transformado a experiência pessoal em experiências anónimas e impessoais, próprias do alheamento. Uma configuração em que se procura colocar o íntimo e o profundo como categorias essenciais à compreensão do humano e à construção da pessoa. O que implica questionar uma crescente sensibilidade pós-orgânica pelo resgate de uma sensibilidade ontológica e articular a experiência do pensar com a experiência de ser pessoa.

A cidade assumiu-se, na sua génese, como pólo e entreposto, como eixo e confluência da esperança, da realização e das oportunidades… Foi terra de libertação e de expressão, dos sonhos mais secretos e mais explícitos do homem a caminho da sua elevação. Continuará a cidade a ser tudo isto ou a cidade idealizada é apenas memória do passado sem ontologia no presente?

Numa época de crise, como a nossa, a noção de pessoa reafirma o ethos distintivo do homem. Constitui o cerne da filosofia de Théodorocopoulos, pensador grego do século XIX, que reestrutura a noção em três níveis: ontológico, psicológico e moral.

Neste texto, o nosso propósito foi o de reconstituir a história do conceito de pessoa, na sua diferença com os conceitos de “homem” e de “indivíduo”, desde os Gregos até ao Personalismo, uma corrente filosófica do século XX.

Introdução: A lesão renal aguda é umas das principais causas de morte ou incapacidade em todo o mundo. O objetivo do tratamento foca-se na homeostasia, sendo uma das terapias possíveis, a técnica de substituição da função renal contínua. Objetivo: Mapear na literatura científica os cuidados de enfermagem à pessoa com lesão renal aguda sob técnica de substituição da função renal contínua em contexto de Unidade de Cuidados Intensivos. Materiais e métodos: Scoping review de acordo com Joana Briggs Institute, no período de março a julho de 2022, com recurso às bases de dados REDIB, BVS: LILACS, MEDLINE, BDENF, BINACIS, Sec. Est. Saúde, EBSCO Discovery Service: Mediclatina, MEDLINE, CINAHLcomplete e Nursing Reference Center Plus. Foi realizada uma pesquisa dos descritores na DeCS/Mesh, validados na língua portuguesa, inglesa e espanhola. Os descritores foram conjugados com os operadores AND, OR e NOT. Resultados: Para esta revisão foram incluídos 9 artigos. Da análise foram extraídos os cuidados de enfermagem a ter com a pessoa sob técnica de substituição da função renal contínua. Eles estão relacionados com o bem-estar e conforto da pessoa, a qualidade de tratamento e a prevenção e gestão de complicações. Discussão e conclusões: A partir dos estudos selecionados nesta revisão os cuidados de enfermagem foram agrupados em três (3) categorias: o bem-estar e conforto da pessoa; a qualidade do tratamento que se relaciona com i) cuidados com máquina de diálise e circuito, ii) cuidados pré-dialíticos, iii) cuidados intradialíticos, iv) cuidados pós-dialíticos; e a prevenção e gestão de complicações relacionadas com i) acesso vascular, ii) anticoagulação e iii) tratamento. A prevenção é a melhor forma de gerir a lesão renal aguda e os problemas associados à técnica de substituição da função renal contínua promovendo o conforto da pessoa.

O ensaio, de cunho filosófico-educacional, tem por objetivo explicitar a construção da proposta da formação humana no pensamento teórico de Paulo Freire, desvelando as contribuições que recebeu da antropologia personalista de inspiração cristã. Recorrendo a fontes bibliográficas pertinentes à temática, busca evidenciar a inserção do pensamento freiriano na tradição filosófica formada em torno do personalismo cristão. Para tanto, destaca a íntima relação de Freire com o cristianismo, ressaltando, em seguida, o conceito de pessoa tal como construído sob a perspectiva da antropologia personalista cristã e explicitando as exigências que dela decorrem para a formação humana e, consequentemente, para a educação, a ser vista então como via privilegiada tanto de emancipação das pessoas como da construção da comunidade social.

People harass people to defend and promote their fundamental beliefs, political ideologies, religious dogmas, and the Truth. They create these with marvelous lucidity and unnerving verve, spreading, guarding, and enforcing their convictions. Fanatical ideologies penetrate and pollute our life world like "lyrical leprosy". We need a coping strategy. Conformists may want to go along and join the perpetrators, whomever they happen to be. Activists fight ideological pollution, a risky strategy. Indifference and apathy do not pollute others and are less dangerous than rebelling. Following E. M. Cioran, I discuss three defensive strategies: those of a skeptic, an idler, and an aesthete. I reject trivializing the third strategy; instead, I discuss an ironist's options. A recommendable route to indifference is to read the Truth metaphorically and ironize it. This voids its contents, and the result is adiaphora. We can also start with irony and metaphorize it. Such linguistic–aesthetic methods thwart the viperous dogmas that otherwise harass us from the cradle to the grave. The Truth is a treacherous construct. How to avoid it? This paper deals with the process of developing the rights of the Human Person at the heart of the Catholic Church Social Doctrine (CCSD). Based on a historical analysis, we seek to map the consolidation of some foundations that compose and underpin the CCSD, as is the case of Emmanuel Mounier's Personalist principle. En estas notas se propone un modelo lingüístico de reminiscencias glosemáticas con cuatro módulos de análisis diferenciados para tratar, en función de las características de cada fenómeno, la variación de la persona alocutiva en las diferentes variedades del español. El modelo distingue entre dos planos, contenido y expresión, y ya dentro de cada uno de los dos planos, entre forma y sustancia. En el contenido, el estudio de las relaciones sociales pertenece a la sustancia y su codificación, junto con el funcionamiento del sistema alocutivo, pertenece a la forma. Una parte central del análisis es la correspondencia entre persona alocutiva y persona gramatical, noción central para analizar la interdependencia entre las partes de la oración. El artículo concluye con un repaso de las sustancias que realizan la segunda persona gramatical en cada variedad del español.

Este artigo oferece uma concepção da pessoa humana com base nas estruturas e funcionalidades do cérebro e algumas dificuldades advindas de um compromisso ontológico com o materialismo reducionista. Primeiramente, a pessoalidade será tratada sob os aspectos anatômicos, funcionais e cognitivo-comportamentais, procurando identificar alguns elementos para se afirmar a existência de uma pessoa humana. Questões sobre a redução da pessoalidade a entidades ou a processos mais básicos, ou se é possível explicar a pessoalidade por meio do organismo ou mais propriamente pelo seu cérebro, serão discutidas. Na segunda parte, propõe-se uma crítica à concepção reducionista da pessoa ao cérebro. Espera-se encontrar uma resposta favorável aos achados oferecidos pelas neurociências, com a rejeição do reducionismo da pessoa, em razão dos limites filosóficos inerentes às ciências do cérebro.

Tratar da noção de pessoa é ir diretamente ao núcleo do problema da identidade. A perspectiva hodierna marcada pelo ideal de “pós-modernidade” parece trazer à tona esta problemática em meio ao contexto social em que nos encontramos que permite atribuir à identidade, seja ela enquanto experiência subjetiva, seja ela enquanto discurso filosófico inúmeros significados. Assim, a problemática exposta no presente ensaio visa apontar para a perspectiva desenvolvida por Antonio Meneghetti em sua vasta bibliografia e na práxis empírica da Ontopsicologia, movimento por ele fundado na Itália no fim dos anos sessenta. O que de imediato se adianta é que a Ontopsicologia responde ao problema universal da noção de sujeito pela noção de pessoa, expressa, a partir da tradição aristotélica, na singular categoria de individuação: o Em Si ôntico. Esta, por sua vez, é o critério epistêmico da operatividade da Escola Ontopsicológica.

In this paper, I critically explore Ann Sharp's conception of personhood as it figures in the theory and practice of the community of philosophical inquiry (CPI). Through surveying Sharp's rich and varied philosophical output, it will be shown how Sharp's conception of personhood as a trilateral relationship (between self, other(s), and community) maps onto "the Three C's" of critical, creative, and caring thinking that make up the practice of Philosophy for Children. After thus presenting Sharp's conception of personhood, the paper brings into view an aspect of said conception which could benefit from further development. This potential shortfall in Sharp's thought is identified as "the problem of closure". In highlighting the problem of closure, I will indicate how Sharp marshals the concept of faith in her conception of CPI as a spiritual community, a relationship that is coincident with personhood itself, as it stands for the bond that ties together the individual (self and other(s)) and the collective (community) dimensions of CPI. I argue that faith serves, among other things, as an agent of closure between the individual and the collective in Sharp's thought. In considering the function of faith in CPI, I will suggest an avenue of possible resolution to the problem of closure in Leonard Nelson's conception of "the Socratic spirit" as the embodiment of "reason's self-confidence". Finally, the paper looks ahead to David Kennedy's writings on the intentionality structure that governs the relationship between the individual and the collective in CPI as a resource that promises to offer a more rigorous and systematic treatment of the problem of closure. These notes set forth a linguistic model reminiscent of glossematics, with four differentiated modules each dealing with variation in the system of address in Spanish according to the characteristics of each of the analyzed phenomena. The model distinguishes two main levels: content and expression. In each, the model further distinguishes between form and substance. Within the level of content, the study of social relations belongs to substance, and the way those relations are grammatically formalized and how they interact with each other belongs to form. A fundamental aspect of the model is the connection between the enunciative person and the grammatical person. A contribuição do personalismo para a Logoterapia, será de fundamental importância, especificamente através do conceito de pessoa como dimensão noética. Para V. Frankl conhecer a pessoa para trata-la terapeuticamente, se tornará o lema que fará da Logoterapia essa busca positiva por sentido, por meio das vivências e da realização de valores superiores. Max Scheler será um filósofo que inspirará de forma ampla e direta o pensamento logoterapêutico de Frankl, fundamentalmente através da teoria dos valores e com sua contribuição fenomenológica da antropologia. A busca por sentido e valor é uma espécie de motivação humana intuída emocionalmente em nossas vivências e compreendida pela nossa consciência. Por isso conceitos como o de pessoa e o de valor são peças importantíssimas para a Logoterapia e a Análise Existencial.

Neste artigo analiso a dupla dimensão do sonho ameríndio, como viagem da alma e como ação provocada por outros seres que não o sonhador. O objetivo é discutir algumas interpretações recorrentes do sonho ameríndio e explorar o status ontológico do sonho para traçar uma proposta alternativa àquelas análises da experiência do sonho indígena que reproduzem a dicotomia sonho-vigília. Os estudos etnográficos sobre o sonho ameríndio e minhas pesquisas entre os indígenas Pumé dos Llanos do sudoeste da Venezuela são a base para responder às perguntas: o que é a experiência indígena do sonho? O que é o sonho? Por que o sonho é um estado ontológico, ou seja, representa, por um lado, o princípio da vitalidade da pessoa e, por outro, o fundamento da existência de todas as entidades que povoam o cosmos?

In recent years, whole genome association studies have been conducted to identify genetic variants associated with the interindividuality of response to dietary treatments for weight loss. These nutritional genomics efforts contribute to the advancement of nutrition science 4.0: preventive, participatory, predictive and personalized. However, although to date more than 85 million polymorphisms have been discovered in the human genome, these findings do not indicate that the presence of these variations determines an effect on a personal health. Therefore, the use of the nutrigenetic profile for weight loss leads to analyze the risks/benefits with the bioethical principles focused on the unity, individuality and uniqueness of the human person. Thus, based on classical thinkers such as Aristotle and Thomas Aquinas, but with the contribution of contemporary philosophers, such as Robert Spaemman, the person is defined as an individual substance of a rational nature, breaking down the fundamental dimensions to demonstrate, by argumentation, that the principle individuality not only includes the biological dimension (materialistic naturalism), but the unity of the person belonging to human nature. O contato com o mundo literário permite, ao leitor, construir ideias, conhecer pontos de vista diferentes e, especialmente, estabelecer reflexões acerca da própria identidade e da sua atuação no meio social. A afirmação se conforma perfeitamente ao conto “O homem que sabia javanês”, de Lima Barreto, em que figura a personagem Castelo, típico ator social da urbanidade brasileira do final do século XIX e início do século XX. Por meio de seu discurso, vislumbra-se seu processo de passagem de individuação à condição de pessoa, inserida no meio social, subjugada às leis gerais do Estado. A análise que se propõe neste estudo tem como horizonte teórico uma perspectiva de transição de indivíduo à pessoa à luz da semiolinguística, da antropologia e da história do país.

Resumo Na interseção da etnologia indígena, a antropologia das relações humano-animais e os estudos sobre artefatos, este artigo analisa um ritual masculino entre os Karitiana, povo indígena Tupi-Arikém no sudoeste da Amazônia brasileira. O Osiipo consistia, sobretudo, no emprego de picaduras de uma variedade de vespas para a fabricação de caçadores. Os dados de que dispomos sugerem que os principais agentes dessa constituição da pessoa masculina eram os insetos, replicando nos homens suas qualidades de ferozes predadores e guerreiros. Nesse processo, destacava-se a presença de cintos de dentes de macaco, signos dos grandes caçadores, e que também são portados pelas vespas. A análise deste objeto específico - as fileiras de dentes de macaco - torna possível compreender como agências outras-que-humanas diversas se interpenetram no ritual que fabricava bons caçadores, cuja versão integral não é mais realizada. Tais artefatos multiespécies tornam-se, assim, expressões materiais privilegiadas para a investigação das interações dos Karitiana com muitos outros seres não humanos com os quais partilham o mundo.

The advances in biotechnology and the fascinating perspectives of nutritional genomics in clinical practice have led to considering various aspects that impact the comprehensive benefit of the human being. Integrating personalized nutrition in clinical care requires a bioethical analysis focused on the person who, based on their unique nutrigenetic profile, contributes to health care through individualized nutritional treatment. The bioethical analysis contemplates the principles of therapeutic totality, freedom, and integrity. A questão do homem para Lima Vaz é basilar na antropologia filosófica. Sobre esse foco podemos entender a crítica à Modernidade (contemporânea) como promotora da crise do ser (humano) e ciência que ora reduziu a concepção de homem as múltiplas faces, ora fragmentou tal concepção na sua integralidade, ora excluiu os elementos da tradição (metafísica, ontologia, cultura, história) que constituam a antropologia no seu nível mais alto. O método da anamnese que equaliza o objeto ao sujeito da antropologia tanto retoma a história em que se formou a antropologia filosófica como rearticula as diversas imagens aporéticas de homem que se firmara no tempo, mas foram tratadas de modo opositivo. Nesse processo de reflexão crítica e reconstrução filosófica se delineia a compreensão do homem ao seu estado mais elevado, na categoria de pessoa. Assim, a pesquisa trata na antropologia vaziana sobre 1) a crise moderna-contemporânea da antropologia, 2) as diversas concepções do homem na contemporaneidade e 3) os pontos prévios da antropologia vaziana e a categoria de pessoa. Após a apresentação de algumas aporias acerca do homem nas “ciências do homem” e Lima Vaz retoma ao fundamento de relação, estruturação e constituição do homem presente na tradição ocidental. Nesse processo a categoria de pessoa demonstra ser a síntese integral da antropologia filosófica entre o transcendente e o imanente, o dado e a forma, a finitude e a imortalidade, o sujeito e o objeto do ser. Portanto, uma antropologia filosófica cuja fonte e riqueza deriva do transcendental, absoluto.

RESUMO A ideia de reduzir o discurso sobre corpos ao discurso sobre agregados é motivada por meio de uma série de problemas metafísicos envolvendo a noção de corpo. Em seguida, duas estratégias de redução são apresentadas. Na primeira, cada corpo é identificado a uma construção lógica envolvendo mundos possíveis e instante do tempo. Na segunda, corpos são tratados como ficções lógicas. A viabilidade de ambas as estratégias é defendida. Embora uma decisão sobre qual das duas é preferível não seja tomada, um aspecto relevante para a comparação é salientado: a segunda abordagem conduz a uma encruzilhada desagradável quanto à natureza das pessoas.

Este trabalho foi realizado com o objetivo de apresentar uma visão integral da pessoa necessária para uma vivência sadia da própria objetividade/subjetividade, tendo como base alguns preceitos de Emmanuel Mounier, somados, por sua vez, à questão da (ar)racionalidade em José Saramago. Tais abordagens serão iniciadas pela corporeidade que mostra o corpo como parte essencial da pessoa, ou seja, através dele ela exprime-se como tal e se expõe diante do mundo e dos outros. Porém, esta mesma pessoa está para além do corpo, da exterioridade, ela é interioridade e aí encontra a força que favorece o salto da própria realidade pessoal, isto é, favorece a dinâmica interior-exterior. Nesta dinâmica surge o grande dom da liberdade que, embora interior, se manifesta nos atos humanos. Para a elaboração deste estudo, foi utilizada uma metodologia de cunho exploratório bibliográfico levando em conta as principais obras dos autores. Concluímos, por fim, que as propostas de Mounier e Saramago acerca da liberdade se aproximam e apresentam pontos ainda extremamente necessários no mundo atual, pois saber que a liberdade não é pura objetividade, ou seja, que devemos vivê-la em vez de vê-la, e nem pura subjetividade, isto é, o mundo não se adéqua somente as minhas vontades, é saber que a experiência humana é vivida sob condições, o que nos ajuda a colocar ou manter os pés no chão. Somos livres à medida que fazemos os outros livres, eis o grande desafio!

The rights of the human person have already been incorporated in court practice and are disseminated within academic investigations. Both employ a synthetic formula that rights of the person are the protection of the person based on the dignity of the human person, with terminologies, structure and reception. Which is the theoretical field of human rights? The hypothesis is that the theoretical field lies in the possibility for the development of human rights within the Brazilian scenario. Current research aims at investigating a landscape with the distinctions of terms adjacent to the right of the person and the theoretical topography in which they are found to qualify the debate. Two specific aims are followed, according to the paper's structure: a) to distinguish the semantics of the main terminologies linked to the expression right of the person and b) to verify the reception of the rights of the person in Brazilian juridical ordering. The theoretical method is employed to delineate terminologies and adjacent theories for the formation of a theoretical framework in which the rights of the person are inserted. Results show the need to recover or reactivate some theoretical debates that affect our perceptions and practices of the rights of the person for the person's integral defense. Resumo: Este artigo discute, a partir de material etnográfico e bibliográfico, como o kardecismo concebe as implicações morais e espirituais do aborto. A interrupção voluntária da gravidez mobiliza problemas sobre as noções de indivíduo, livre-arbítrio e os desígnios de agentes espirituais, comprometendo uma discussão centrada na noção de escolha individual. O kardecismo postula um encadeamento relacional de espíritos entre encarnações, que vai além da afinidade pessoal ou biológica, remetendo a dívidas cármicas que culminam no nascimento. O aborto coloca um problema para a evolução espiritual, quebrando o que os kardecistas consideram uma das leis maiores do universo. Busco explorar tais implicações, relacionando-as aos discursos de entidades médicas ligadas à religião e tensionando a ambígua articulação espírita entre livre-arbítrio, ciência e moral.

La convención sobre el uso del término “globalización” ha llegado a automatizarlo y desvincularlo de los procesos históricos que lo explican. El filósofo alemán Peter Sloterdijk propone un concepto más amplio e históricamente revisado de globalización, el cual permite entender la transformación del pensamiento occidental ligada a los cambios en las dinámicas culturales del mundo moderno. De la formulación del filósofo sobresalen conceptos que pueden utilizarse como claves de reflexión para el estudio literario. El presente texto comparte el caso del concepto de “saturación”, llevado al estudio comparativo de Almeida Garrett y Fernando Pessoa, cuyas obras dan cuenta de la paulatina transformación de las dinámicas culturales en un mundo que se globaliza. También se pone en perspectiva la posibilidad de llevar los conceptos del filósofo Sloterdijk a otros contextos de discusión literaria.

Shakespeare, de acordo com Pessoa, é causa da ausência de construção a que a modernidade está condenada e que passa a caracterizá-la. Nessa medida, Pessoa retoma a imagem de Shakespeare como uma figura da modernidade que a representa no que esta tem de imperfeição construtiva. Poderíamos aproximar a expressão de Pessoa a Milton e considerá-lo um “supra-Ovídio” ou criador de uma “supra-Bíblia”. A escrita de Milton altera o cânone desafiando a auctoritas do texto religioso.

This essay is an ethnographic analysis of the life history of a middle-aged man living in a small town in southern Portugal during the "austerity" crisis. Pedro's initial engagement with caring for older persons eventually led him to a fascination with "things", to such an extent that his friends jokingly call him a coisista (a 'thingist'). His life story, as that of someone who has become a specialist in dealing with what happens to domestic objects when households break down, can help us throw light on the complexities of the process of objectification. Taking recourse to a long tradition of phenomenological analyses, the essay focuses on the mysterious relation between things and objects attempting to relate it to contemporary developments in sociocultural anthropology of the notions of personhood, company, and transcendence. This article aims to revisit the theme of the karajá dolls reflecting upon a broad bibliography review and my field work. The goal is to articulate two historically separated discussions in Karajá's research: the study on objects and the discussions about the personhood, kinship and body. I argue that the ritxo(k)o are part of the networks of kinship relationships. Their production, sale or gifting activates relationships between groups of women. At the same time, the act of gifting ritxo(k)o to small girls is part of a set of acts that builds kin-bodies, such as grandmother and granddaughter. The ritxo(k)o are also a way of establishing relationships with the alterity of white people, either through gifting, selling or by establishing a relationship with researchers. Using the benefits gained from these relationships, the Karajá set in motion, once again, the production of kin-bodies, turning money and material goods into food and gifts for their family. Food, daily care, use of the correct terms of kinship and gifts, such as ritxo(k)o, but also industrialized goods, the exchange of affections, advice, protection through the brotyré category are part of the actions that guarantee a successful kinship process. The debate on the metaphysics of person has gained prominence in analytical philosophy in recent decades. This is explained by several factors, among them the perpetual interest in finding an answer to 'who am I?' In the current scenario, the debate on the ontological status of the person has been carried out by various types of theories, from dualist approaches to different versions of physicalism. The central problem of the debate is the assumption of a general ontology and a semantics that are not explicit or incoherent. In this paper, we present the holistic configurational theory of personhood (HCT) of the Structural-Systematic Philosophy (SSP). The essential feature of this position is the approach to understanding the person in a more comprehensive theoretical framework, in which mind and body are seen as interconnected dimensions of the whole. Indeed, the mental and physical states belong to the all-embracing dimension of Being as such and as a whole, which reveals a new perspective capable of dissolving the classic impasse of mind-brain interaction.
