8. Some notes to the issue of the mathematical potential recovery model in Borg–Levinson inverse problem

Abstract

In this paper we investigate the uniqueness of potential recovery in the inverse Borg–Levinson problem, and our study deals with a model of its recovery. The article applies the theory of elliptic equations. Using the resolvent method, in fact, we obtain uniqueness conditions for potential recovery in the inverse Borg–Levinson problem with Newton’s boundary condition considered on a multidimensional parallelepiped if the nature of the asymptotic decomposition of eigenvalues is known. The inverse Borg–Levinson problem with Dirichlet’s boundary condition was investigated in Sadovnichii et al. (Dokl Math 61(1):67–69, 2000). It was proved that the lack of knowledge about a finite number of spectral data does not affect the uniqueness of the potential recovery, and we can also exclude some infinite sequences of eigenvalues that have certain properties, which will not affect the uniqueness of the potential recovery. Here the authors consider a problem with more general Newton’s boundary condition. The study convinces that with a certain asymptotic behavior of the eigenvalues, which is valid on a two-dimensional and three-dimensional cube and cannot be considered on it as an additional requirement, with the eigenfunctions bounded at the boundary and some other conditions, a uniqueness result for the potential restoration holds true. This result is also valid for a problem with Neumann’s boundary condition. A potential recovery model was formulated. If the potential of one of their tasks is known, and the difference between the spectral characteristics of the other problem with an unknown potential and the spectral characteristics of the initial one satisfies the presented conditions, then the potentials of these problems coincide.

Abstract

В настоящее время происходит ряд глубоких социально-экономических изменений в социальной структуре современного российского общества. Применение теорий и разработок к информационному обществу является проблематичным во многих отношениях. Во-первых, существует большое количество подходов, которые синтезируют различные теории, имеющие дело с технологией и обществом. Во-вторых, фрагментарность подходов к информационному обществу. В- третьих, эволюционный или системный подход к истории технологий при работе с информационным обществом; не принимаются во внимание результаты изучения подходов к сути информационного века: информация, коммуникации и знание. Currently, there is a number of deep socio-economic changes in the social structure of a modern Russian society. Application of theories and developments in the information society is problematic in many respects. Firstly, there are manyapproaches that synthesize the various theories dealing with technology and society. Secondly, piecemeal approach to the Information Society. Thirdly, evolutionary and systematic approach to the history of technology in the information society; are not taken into account the results of the study of pproaches to the essence of the information age: information, communication and knowledge.

32. Enhancing the control system of payoff machine electric drive in the steel-reinforcement-producing rolling mill

Abstract

Одним из резервов повышения качества насечки на стальной арматуре является совершенствование систем управления электроприводами агрегатов стана по ее производству. В результате экспериментальных и теоретических исследований, проведенных на действующем стане ISF 5 ОАО «ММК-МЕТИЗ», установлено, что применяемая на стане система управления электроприводом размоточного аппарата не обеспечивает необходимого качества насечки на арматуре и требует совершенствования. Причиной неудовлетворительной работы существующей на стане ISF 5 системы управления электроприводом размоточного аппарата является ее неспособность стабилизировать натяжение в проволоке между размоточным аппаратом и роликовым правильным устройством при уменьшении радиуса смотки проволоки. Для технологических условий производства арматуры на стане ISF 5 получено аналитическое выражение для расчета величины натяжения в проволоке между размоточным аппаратом и роликовым правильным устройством. Определены эмпирические и аналитические выражения для исследования влияния радиуса смотки проволоки на составляющие момента электропривода размоточного аппарата и усилий, формирующих натяжение в проволоке. Разработана методика расчета целесообразного изменения момента электродвигателя размоточного аппарата при изменении радиуса заполнения катушки с целью поддержания натяжения в проволоке между размоточным аппаратом и роликовым правильным устройством на заданном уровне. Разработаны функциональная схема системы управления электроприводом размоточного аппарата и алгоритм расчета задания на момент электродвигателя размоточного аппарата, реализация которых позволит на практике выполнить новые технологические требования к электроприводу размоточного аппарата. Разработанная система управления электроприводом размоточного аппарата позволит обеспечить поддержание натяжения в промежутке размоточный аппарат – роликовое правильное устройство на заданном уровне при изменении радиуса заполнения катушки проволокой, диаметра проволоки и других технологических условий изготовления арматуры и, как следствие, обеспечить требуемое значение глубины насечки арматурной проволоки. One of the reserves of steel reinforcement knurling improvement is enhancement of control system of electric drives in the machines of the reinforcement-producing rolling mills. Experimental and theoretical research carried out on the functioning mill ISF 5 OAO “MMK-METIZ” (OJSC) have showed that existing control system of payoff machine electric drive does not provide the required quality of the reinforcement knurling and needs to be enhanced. Unsatisfactory operation of the existing control system of ISF 5 payoff machine electric drive is associated with its disability to stabilize the wire tension between the payoff machine and leveling bridle machine when the radius of wire reeling is reduced. For the process conditions of the reinforcement production on ISF 5 mill we obtained analytical expression for calculation of the wire tension between the payoff machine and leveling bridle machine. We also found empirical and analytical expressions for studies of the payoff machine electric drive torque components and tension-forming forces as influenced by the wire reeling radius. We designed procedure of calculating the appropriate change in the payoff machine electric drive torque at change in the coil filling radius to keep the predetermined wire tension between the payoff machine and leveling bridle machine. We developed functional diagram of the control system of payoff machine electric drive and algorithm of electric drive torque task calculation which should be introduced to meet new technological requirements for the payoff machine electric drive. The design control system of the payoff machine electric drive will provide stability of predetermined wire tension between the payoff machine and leveling bridle machine at change in the coil filling radius, wire diameter and other process conditions of the reinforcement production, and will therefore provide the required knurling depth of the reinforcing wire. 37. Distribution of electric drives of pulling rollers on the continuous casting machine: simulation and experiment.

Abstract

The paper presents the results of the study aimed at solving the problem of rational distribution of electric drives of pulling rollers along the technological line of a continuous casting machine and selecting a minimum number of pulling rollers in different areas of the secondary cooling zone. The research includes construction and ranking the criteria for distribution of drive rollers along the production line of the continuous casting machine; development of methods and algorithms for calculating the required distribution of load moments on pulling rollers and distribution of electric drives of pulling rollers along the secondary cooling zone in threemodes of the electric drive operation of the pulling-straightening device: containment of the dummy bar in the preparatory casting mode of the continuous casting machine; pulling the dummy bar with the head of the ingot at the initial stage of pouring the metal; withdrawal of the ingot in the working mode of casting. Theoretical studies were carried out with the use of analytical and numerical methods for solving algebraic equations, methods of structural modeling. Experimental studies were carried out in the conditions of a large metallurgical enterprize with subsequent processing of the obtained data by statistical methods. The technical and economic analysis of the options of the electric drive execution of the pulling-straightening device showed that due to a significant reduction in the number of electric drives of pulling rollers, the payback period of replacement of a group scheme of power supply of electric motors to an individual one in new continuous casting machines decreases from 5.8 to 7.8 years with the traditional distribution of pulling rollers along the secondary cooling zone to 2.8-3 years with their rational distribution, calculated by the developed methods. The results of the work were used in the design of a slab machine for continuous casting of curvilinear strands intended for casting wide slabs up to 2.5 m. According to the proposed method, the number of electric drives pulling the rollers was reduced to 56. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
