Abstract

We explore a new way of producing the Rashba spin-orbit coupling (SOC) for ultracold atoms by using a two-component (spinor) atomic Bose-Einstein condensate (BEC) confined in a bilayer geometry. The SOC of the Rashba type is created if the atoms pick up a {\pi} phase after completing a cyclic transition between four combined spin-layer states composed of two spin and two layer states. The cyclic coupling of the spin-layer states is carried out by combining an intralayer Raman coupling and an interlayer laser assisted tunneling. We theoretically determine the ground-state phases of the spin-orbit-coupled BEC for various strengths of the atom-atom interaction and the laser-assisted coupling. It is shown that the bilayer scheme provides a diverse ground-state phase diagram. In an intermediate range of the atom-light coupling two interlacing lattices of half- skyrmions and half-antiskyrmions are spontaneously created. In the strong-coupling regime, where the SOC of the Rashba-type is formed, the ground state represents plane-wave or standing-wave phases depending on the interaction between the atoms. 14. Adaptive Topology-Aware Siamese Network for Cross-Domain Fault Diagnosis With Small Samples

Abstract

The emerging graph convolutional network (GCN) provides a way to extract additional relationship information and has demonstrated superior performance in fault diagnosis. However, the GCN-based methods have some limitations when applied to cross-domain fault diagnostics. First, the graph topology constructed according to certain criteria remains fixed while it may contain domain-specific information, which could hamper the extraction of domain-invariant features. Second, the non-Euclidean structure of the graph hinders its augmentation through mixing and interpolation, bringing its application challenges in scenarios with small samples. To address these limitations, this article proposes an adaptive topology-aware siamese network (ATA-SN) for cross-domain fault diagnosis with small samples. Specifically, the multichannel data are constructed as a complete graph as input. The adaptive topology-aware module updates and augments the graph simultaneously through biased uncertainty edge perturbation in a nonparametric manner. In combination with a contrastive loss, augmented data with clear class boundaries can be obtained. A statistical metrics-based style loss is used for domain-invariant feature learning. A pair of updated graphs is then fed into the siamese framework, which utilizes the semantic consistency of the paired graphs to recalibrate the contribution of the augmented data to the gradient descent, thus ensuring the effectiveness of the graph augmentation and domain adaptation. Comparative studies and cross-domain fault diagnosis experiments indicate the superiority and effectiveness of the proposed method even in scenarios with extremely limited training data. Abstract

Recently, the terahertz (THz) photon-assisted tunneling (PAT) through a two-level InAs quantum dot (QD) has been successfully realized in experiment [Phys. Rev. Lett. {\bf 109}, 077401 (2012)]. The Coulomb interaction in this device is comparable with the energy difference between the two energy levels. We theoretically explore the effects of Coulomb interaction on the PAT processes and show that the main peaks of the experiment can be well derived by our model analysis. Furthermore, we find additional peaks, which were not addressed in the InAs QD experiment and may be further identified in experiments. In particular, we show that, to observe the interesting photon-induced excited state resonance in InAs QD, the Coulomb interaction should be larger than THz photon frequency., Comment: 6 pages, 4 figures

Abstract

Design the wheel mold according to the cross-sectional view of the lightweight aluminum alloy wheel profile, determine the length of its working belt and use HyperXtrude software to simulate it, verify the rationality of the working belt design, analyze the flow velocity and temperature of the mold outlet, and determine the 7075 aluminum alloy The alloy wheel profile is most reasonable to be produced on a 10 MN extruder. Finally, the optimized working belt length is used for production. The quality of hot extrusion profile is qualified, which proves the accuracy of the simulation.

Abstract

In order to improve the quality of welded joints and increase the service life of pipelines, ABAQUS finite element software was used to simulate the temperature field of 18,4 mm thick X80 pipeline steel in multi-layer and multi pass welding. The peak temperature of different passes was compared, and the change trend of temperature field in the welding process was obtained,. The results show that the peak temperature of the weld and its adjacent areas is higher, and the peak temperature of the weld center is the highest. Due to the fast welding speed, the heat cannot be transferred to other areas in time, resulting in uneven heating of the entire test panel.

Abstract

Q345C steel is welded under two different pre-welding heating methods of traditional flame heating and ceramic sheet heating. The finite element analysis of the butt joint weldment by ABAQUS software is used to summarize the law of welding deformation and compare the welding quality under different pre-welding heating methods according to the residual stress and deformation trend of the welding joint weld. The results show that the main stress after welding is concentrated in the weld seam and the surrounding area. The residual stress after welding after the heating and welding of the ceramic sheet is significantly less than the residual stress after the traditional flame heating welding, and the welding after the heating of the ceramic sheet can obtain better welding quality.

Abstract

In this study, a 72-h neutral salt spray test was conducted on two low-carbon alloy steels and their corrosion kinetic equations were constructed, and tensile tests were conducted on specimens with different corrosion cycles to evaluate the mechanical properties of the two experimental steels. The test results showed that the corrosion resistance of TZ750MS was better than that of H750MS during the whole test cycle; however, the predicted results of the corrosion kinetic equation showed that the corrosion resistance of TZ750MS was lower than that of H750MS after 144 h. The tensile test results showed that the strength of both steels did not change substantially after corrosion, and the tensile stress-strain diagram showed that the specimens would fracture earlier after passing through the plastic deformation zone .
