Om deze reden presenteert de opleiding IT-audit, Compliance and Advisory (ITACA) van de Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam de dertien meest relevante afstudeerscripties uit het studiejaar 2017/2018 van deze opleiding.

The international scientific community believes unequivocally that, at the origin of the climate change, there are anthropic factors mainly linked to the construction sector and to the disproportionate use of fossil energy sources. The selection of building materials plays a key role in the reduction of energy consumption, especially in the Mediterranean area, where the internal overeating risk is high if the solar radiation is not controlled and the free supply of internal heat is poorly managed. Traditionally, in the Italian context, the slab-on-ground floor is made in concrete or more rarely in stone. However, it is usually recommended to minimize the use of concrete as it has a strong environmental impact, reinforced concrete is still the most recommended solution for foundations, both for regulatory and practical reasons. The present study proposes a methodology for the design of high efficiency slab-on-ground floor for warm climate through optimization code performed with the software modeFRONTIER. Starting from the traditional floor structures, the multi-objective methodology stands as an advanced step for the identification of new configurations, favoring the management of many variables, such as thermal, environmental and economic aspects. The results are characterized by high presence of local and eco-friendly materials and reduced costs. At the end, this work demonstrates that it is possible to obtain high performance solutions with also very few numbers of layers.

In this study, we examine three social housing case studies in the Campania region. The projects have been made with the aspiration to be sustainable residential neighborhoods. The Region, indeed, proposed a pilot program to test an innovative model of the design and construction of social housing. The topic of this program is the spreading of urban quality and construction, the culture energy conservation, the reduction of the construction impact activities on the environment and the offering to lower classes proper housing. This program was created to implement new guidelines referring to ITACA protocol. The cases involve three medium-small municipalities: one in the province of Avellino-Mirabella Eclano, one in the province of Salerno - Castelnuovo Cilento and the last one in the province of Naples - Nola. The first case was concluded, the second one is almost completed and the last one is still in progress. These are three different cases by geographical location and contextual conditions. Mirabella Eclano has a land area of 34 sq km and a population of just 8000 inh., with a population density of 230 inh. per sq km; Castelnuovo Cilento, however, has an area of only 18 sq km and a population of about 2,500 inh. Nola, finally, is a city of the province of Naples, with a land area of 39 sq km and about 33,000 inh., located in the eastern part of the plain to the north of Vesuvio. In all three cases, however, despite the obvious differences, the projects presented have tried to entrust the leadership to public housing in research and dissemination of new sustainable urban models. The paper will describe in detail all the sustainable urban and building elements.

Aquesta tesi pretén demostrar que l’Odissea constitueix un dels eixos vertebradors del cinema modern, ja que actua com a signe des del qual s’estableix un paradigma interpretatiu de la pròpia modernitat cinematogràfica i com a focus de noves formes artístiques i nous continguts temàtics. El film que ho fa possible és Le Mépris (1963) de Jean-Luc Godard. Per fonamentar-ho, s’hi han investigat dos aspectes clau: la influència de Roberto Rossellini i l’evolució del cinema italià de la mà d’Antonioni i Fellini, i el diàleg establert entre l’obra de Godard i la novel•la de la qual parteix, Il disprezzo (1954) d’Alberto Moravia. Aquestes dues línies d’anàlisi reconeixen com a comú denominador el tractament temàtic del sentiment del menyspreu, esdevingut símbol de l’evolució de la parella en la segona meitat del segle XX i de la metàfora del buit i de la crisi de valors de l’època. This thesis aims to demonstrate that the Odyssey is one of the backbones of modern cinema as it acts as a sign from which it establishes an interpretative paradigm of modern cinema itself and as a source of new artistic forms and new thematic content. The film that makes this possible is Le Mépris (1963) by Jean-Luc Godard. In support of this, two key aspects were investigated: the influence of Roberto Rossellini and the evolution of Italian cinema through directors Fellini and Antonioni, and the dialogue established between Godard's work and the novel from where it starts, Il disprezzo (1954) by Alberto Moravia. These two lines of analysis have one common denominator: The way in which the feeling of contempt is treated, by becoming a symbol of the evolution of couples during the second half of the twentieth century and also of the metaphor of the void and of the crisis of moral values from that time period.

Hereditary angioedema (HAE) due to C1-inhibitor (C1-INH) deficiency (C1-INH-HAE) is a rare disease, with a reported prevalence of about 1 : 50 000. C1-INH-HAE causes disabling symptoms, which may be life-threatening if swelling affects upper airways. Diagnostic procedures are now well established and the role of bradykinin as the main mediator of plasma outflow eliciting angioedema formation has been clearly elucidated.Increased understanding of the pathogenesis of C1-INH-HAE allowed in recent years the development of new drugs targeted to inhibit bradykinin synthesis (Ecallantide) or activity (Icatibant). At the same time, a recombinant C1-INH concentrate (Ruconest) was produced from the milk of transgenic rabbits and two plasma-derived C1-INHs (Berinert, Cinryze) underwent controlled trials to obtain marketing authorization. In 2012, an Italian network for C1-INH-HAE (ITACA) was established by physicians of 17 HAE reference centres to collect data from Italian patients and to homogenize and improve the diagnostic and therapeutic approach to the disease.Although there is a widespread agreement on therapeutic goals and treatment of C1-INH-HAE acute attacks, different approaches to prophylaxis are still present among HAE experts. The clinical experience of ITACA on a large population of C1-INH-HAE patients followed for several years may help in identifying the most effective strategies for the management of the disease.
