With the continuous development of mobile communication technology, edge computing technology has been gradually applied to some special business scenarios, such as disaster area rescue and forest fire warning. These application scenarios have certain requirements on the delay of task processing, and need enough network connection and computing resources. Due to the lack of ground network infrastructure, the traditional edge computing scheme can no longer fully meet the needs of users. However, the virtualized environment in cloud computing not only brings convenient services to users, but also faces security threats from different levels. The increasingly rich attack means and the widening of attack surface caused by virtualization have brought new challenges to the security protection of edge computing environment. How to build a secure and credible virtualization environment for cloud computing and alleviate users' concerns about cloud computing security has become an urgent problem to be solved in the further development of cloud computing technology. Based on the analysis of security risks and users' security requirements, this paper puts forward the combination of trusted computing and trust model in cloud computing, to build a safe and credible virtualization environment for users. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm not only guarantees the validity of the trust model, but also reduces the resource overhead of edge devices in the process of trust evaluation.

A simplified and green strategy was provided for the synthesis of cellulose acetate. Cellulose acetate (CA) was isolated from the directly acetylated eucalyptus powder after hydrothermal treatment to selectively remove hemicellulose without delignification. The conversion rate of cellulose (90.75%) and the yield of the acetylated product (61.34%) were greatly improved by hydrothermal treatment, while the re-condensation of lignin during hydrothermal treatment made no adverse difference. The characterization results verified that the acetylated product was cellulose acetate with uniform molecular weight, good thermal stability and semi-crystalline structure. Moreover, CA was used to reinforce polylactic acid (PLA) films prepared by solvent casting. The PLA-CA composite with 5 wt% CA showed an increase of 80.63% in tensile strength and 59.51% in Young's modulus, and their density decreased from 1.2427 g/cm3 to 1.0028 g/cm3. The lightweight and excellent mechanical properties promote the application potential of biodegradable composites to replace petroleum-based plastics.

Purpose Repair of long-segment ureteral defect (LSUD) is challenging. Currently available procedures carry some potential complications. We modified the ileal graft by tapering the wall and stripping the mucosa to combat associated pitfalls and first reported the medium-term outcomes of 4 patients. Material and methods From September 2019 to October 2020, tapered demucosalized ileum (TDI) was used for LSUD reconstruction in 4 patients on the right (2 males and 2 females). Two patients were with panureteral avulsion and 2 with high-risk urothelial carcinoma in the distal ureter. TDI was made by tapering 1/2–2/3 of the antimesenteric ileal wall and stripping the mucosa with a blunt/blunt operating scissor. Follow-up modalities included serum creatinine, electrolytes, ultrasonography, CT urogram, renal scintigraphy, and ureteroscopy. Results Mean operation time was 443 min (range 360–550) and blood loss was negligible. The mean follow-up period was 29 months (range 23–36). Vesicoureteral reflux and related pyelonephritis occurred in 1 patient, necessitating a repair operation (Clavien-Dindo grade IIIb). No strictures, obstructions, metabolic disorders, or electrolyte imbalances were observed in the remaining patients. In carcinoma patients, ureteroscopy in month 18 post-operation revealed ileal mucosal regrowth in the form of dwarf isolated islands. All renal units maintained adequate drainage and function during the follow-up. Conclusions Ileal wall tapering and mucosa stripping confined to the muscularis mucosae level will not result in shrinkage, fibrosis, or stricture formation of the ileal ureter. The present work provides evidence for further application of TDI in the replacement of LSUD in patients.

The novel (La0.2Pr0.2Nd0.2Sm0.2Eu0.2)2Ce2O7 high entropy ceramics were successfully fabricated by solid-state reaction method. The crystal structure, the particle morphology and dielectric properties were studied. The effect of sintering temperatures on the phase structure and dielectric properties of high entropy ceramics was investigated. The results showed that high entropy ceramics had a pure A2B2O7 phase of defective fluorite structure at 1300 °C. The dielectric measurements showed that the ceramics possessed decent dielectric stability at high frequency. The (La0.2Pr0.2Nd0.2Sm0.2Eu0.2)2Ce2O7 ceramic samples sintered at 1600 °C have large dielectric properties (the order of dielectric constant is 105–106) under the condition of high temperature and low frequency (about 320,000 at 642 °C, 100 Hz), which may be related to the high entropy effect. The insulation was demonstrated with the Leakage current density between 10–7 and 10–6 A/cm2, which showed the potential application value in microelectronics field.

Background The detection of rib fractures (RFs) on computed tomography (CT) images is time-consuming and susceptible to missed diagnosis. An automated artificial intelligence (AI) detection system may be helpful to improve the diagnostic efficiency for junior radiologists. Purpose To compare the diagnostic performance of junior radiologists with and without AI software for RF detection on chest CT images. Materials and methods Six junior radiologists from three institutions interpreted 393 CT images of patients with acute chest trauma, with and without AI software. The CT images were randomly split into two sets at each institution, with each set assigned to a different radiologist First, the detection of all fractures (AFs), including displaced fractures (DFs), non-displaced fractures and buckle fractures, was analyzed. Next, the DFs were selected for analysis. The sensitivity and specificity of the radiologist-only and radiologist-AI groups at the patient level were set as primary endpoints, and secondary endpoints were at the rib and lesion level. Results Regarding AFs, the sensitivity difference between the radiologist-AI group and the radiologist-only group were significant at different levels (patient-level: 26.20%; rib-level: 22.18%; lesion-level: 23.74%; P 0.05). Conclusion AI software improved the sensitivity of RF detection on CT images for junior radiologists and reduced the reading time by approximately 1 min per patient without decreasing the specificity.

Lignin/tannin/ZnONP composite coatings were designed for paper-based green packaging. Multiple functions, such as high strength, moisture resistance, low air permeance, heat endurance, UV aging resistance, and antibacterial/mold properties, were successfully integrated into one biobased coating. Prepolymerization improved the physical properties of coatings at high lignin contents. The best ingredient ratio was: 40% lignin, 15% tannin, and 10% ZnONPs (based on tannin weight), and the as-prepared biocoating was labeled LTZn-10. After coated with LTZn-10, the tensile strength and bursting strength of the packaging were efficiently enhanced by more than 3 times and were dramatically increased by 51.6 and 5.6 times at the wet state, respectively, which reveals that the packaging has favorable moisture resistance and it can be used in high humidity environments. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) proved that most of the pores on the paper were blocked by the coatings, which helped to decrease the air permeance by 10.3 times. Meanwhile, ZnONPs were evenly spread on the coatings, which endowed the packaging with excellent antibacterial/mold performance. No colony or mycelium was found in the test against Gram-negative/positive bacteria and eight common molds. Besides, antibacterial activity is only available while the bacteria come in contact with the coating and no active substances were released into the culture medium, which is a good property that can keep the cargo from contamination of antibacterial agents. In addition, the coated paper presented an improved Tg and thermal degradation temperature, indicating that the coated package has favorable thermostability and can maintain its outstanding physical properties in a wider temperature range. Lignin and tannin promoted the UV stability and service life of the coated paper, as a rare physical decrease was observed after UV aging for 72 h. The function-integrated biobased coating with favorable sustainability is a good candidate to be widely used in paper-based green packaging fields.

The concomitant occurrence of 8q duplication and 13q deletion is the first to be detected by noninvasive prenatal testing (NIPT) to date. Through case analysis, we could provide a clinical approach to pregnant women with chromosomal abnormalities revealed by NIPT. The combination of traditional karyotype and copy number variation sequencing (CNV‐seq) could better locate the abnormal chromosomal region and further identify the source of fetal chromosomal abnormalities. Simultaneously, we evaluated the fetal morphology by ultrasound examination. The karyotype of the fetus was 46,XY,der(13)t(8;13)(q22;q32)mat and CNV‐seq results showed that there was an approximately 45.26‐Mb duplication in 8q22.2‐q24.3 (101040001–146 300 000) and an approximately 9.54‐Mb deletion in 13q33.2‐q34 (105560001–115 100 000). Prenatal ultrasound revealed the fetal structural abnormalities presented with hypoplasia of the cerebellar vermis, a flat nose, echogenic bowel and absent gallbladder. Herein, we consider that combination detection of traditional karyotyping, CNV‐seq and ultrasonography provides a valuable method for pregnant women with abnormal NIPT.

The pharyngeal sac is a comparatively rare organ in the digestive tract among teleost fishes. However, our understanding of this remarkable organ in the silver pomfret (Pampus argenteus) is limited. In the present study, we examined the various morphological and histological characteristics of the pharyngeal sac using histochemical techniques and electron microscopy. The pharyngeal sac showed unique characteristics such as well-developed muscular walls, weakly keratinized epithelium, numerous goblet cells, and needle-like processes on the papillae. The porous cavity of the papillae contained numerous adipocytes and was tightly enveloped by type I collagen fibers. These structures might provide mechanical protection and excellent biomechanical properties for grinding and shredding prey. A comparison of gene expression levels between the pharyngeal sac and esophagus using RNA-seq showed that phenotype-associated genes (epithelial genes and muscle genes) were upregulated, whereas genes related to nutrient digestion and absorption were downregulated in the pharyngeal sac. These results support the role of the pharyngeal sac in shredding and predigesting food. Overall, these findings provide a clearer understanding of the pharyngeal sac morphology and explain the morphological adaptations of the digestive tract for feeding on gelatinous prey. To our knowledge, this is the first report on pharyngeal sac gene expression in P. argenteus.

A Co(II)-catalyzed cycloaddition reaction of alkynyl ketones and 2-acetylpyridines using 2,2'-bipyridine as the ligand has been developed. These reactions have been realized through Co-catalyzed reductive coupling of two molecules of 2-acetylpyridine followed by regioselective insertion of the alkynone. It is the first example of regioselective cyclotrimerization of one molecule of alkyne and two molecules of monoketone to polysubstituted benzene derivatives in good to excellent yields. A mechanism involving the formation of a cobaltacyclopentane via homocoupling of 2-acetylpyridines is proposed, and it is supported by the DFT calculations.

A lignin-based PU coating was prepared for paper-based green packaging. Two representative diisocyanate were used to prepare the coatings. Due to the rigid aromatic, the physical properties of the TDI system reached the maximum below the lignin content of 40%. The HDI that contains flexible aliphatic chains alleviated the brittleness of coating, and it showed physical advantages when the lignin content was more than 50%. Owing to the high lignin content, the coating presented enhanced thermal stability. After coated with the lignin-based PU coatings, the dry tensile strength of coated paper was improved by 126%. Amazingly, the wet strength was increased from 0.31 to 12.6 MPa with an improvement nearly 40 times. Based on the coordination of lignin, Ag+ was introduced into the PU matrix, which imparted the coating with excellent antibacterial ability. The colony forming units of E. coli and S. aureus were both less than 1. However, no inhibition halo was observed, which indicated that the Ag was firmly anchored on the coating and the antibacterial ability is only available when the bacterial contact the coating surface. The lignin-based PU coating with favorable sustainability and properties shows great potential in paper-based green packaging fields.

To develop a radiomics model for predicting hematoma expansion in patients with intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) and to compare its predictive performance with a conventional radiological feature-based model.We retrospectively analyzed 251 consecutive patients with acute ICH. Two radiologists independently assessed baseline noncontrast computed tomography (NCCT) images. For each radiologist, a radiological model was constructed from radiological variables; a radiomics score model was constructed from high-dimensional quantitative features extracted from NCCT images; and a combined model was constructed using both radiological variables and radiomics score. Development of models was constructed in a primary cohort (n = 177). We then validated the results in an independent validation cohort (n = 74). The primary outcome was hematoma expansion. We compared the three models for predicting hematoma expansion. Predictive performance was assessed with the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis.In the primary cohort, combined model and radiomics model showed greater AUCs than radiological model for both readers (all p .05). In the validation cohort, combined model and radiomics model showed greater AUCs, sensitivities, and accuracies than radiological model for reader 2 (all p .05). Combined model showed greater AUC than radiomics model for reader 1 only in the primary cohort (p = .03). Performance of three models was comparable between reader 1 and reader 2 in both cohorts (all p .05).NCCT-based radiomics model showed high predictive performance and outperformed radiological model in the prediction of early hematoma expansion in ICH patients.• Radiomics model showed better performance for prediction of hematoma expansion in patients with intracerebral hemorrhage than radiological feature-based model. • Hematomas which expanded in follow-up NCCT tended to be larger in baseline volume, more irregular in shape, more heterogeneous in composition, and coarser in texture. • A radiomics model provides a convenient and objective tool for prediction of hematoma expansion that helps to define subsets of patients who would benefit from anti-expansion therapy.

To explore whether MRI and radiomic features can differentiate uterine sarcoma from atypical leiomyoma. And to compare diagnostic performance of radiomic model with radiologists.78 patients (29 sarcomas, 49 leiomyomas) imaged with pelvic MRI prior to surgery were included in this retrospective study. Certain clinical and MRI features were evaluated for one lesion per patient. Radiological diagnosis was made based on MRI features. A radiomic model using automated texture analysis based on ADC maps was built to predict pathological results. The association between MRI features and pathological results was determined by multivariable logistic regression after controlling for other variables in univariate analyses with P 0.05. The diagnostic efficacy of radiologists and radiomic model were compared by area under the receiver-operating characteristic curve (AUC), sensitivity, specificity and accuracy.In univariate analyses, patient's age, menopausal state, intratumor hemorrhage, tumor margin and uterine endometrial cavity were associated with pathological results, P 0.05. Patient's age, tumor margin and uterine endometrial cavity remained significant in a multivariable model, P 0.05. Diagnosis efficacy of radiologists based on MRI reached an AUC of 0.752, sensitivity of 58.6%, specificity of 91.8%, and accuracy of 79.5%. The optimal radiomic model reached an AUC of 0.830, sensitivity of 76.0%, average specificity of 73.2%, and accuracy of 73.9%.Ill-defined tumor margin and interrupted uterine endometrial cavity of older women were predictors of uterine sarcoma. Radiomic analysis was feasible. Optimal radiomic model showed comparable diagnostic efficacy with experienced radiologists.

BACKGROUND Radiomics approaches based on multiparametric MRI (mp-MRI) have shown high accuracy in prostate cancer (PCa) management. However, there is a need to apply radiomics to the preoperative prediction of extracapsular extension (ECE). PURPOSE To develop and validate a radiomics signature to preoperatively predict the probability of ECE for patients with PCa, compared with the radiologists' interpretations. STUDY TYPE Retrospective. POPULATION In total, 210 patients with pathology-confirmed ECE status (101 positive, 109 negative) were enrolled. FIELD STRENGTH/SEQUENCE T2 -weighted imaging (T2 WI), diffusion-weighted imaging, and dynamic contrast-enhanced imaging were performed on two 3.0T MR scanners. ASSESSMENT A radiomics signature was constructed to predict the probability of ECE prior to radical prostatectomy (RP). In all, 17 stable radiomics features of 1619 extracted features based on T2 WI were selected. The same images were also evaluated by three radiologists. The predictive performance of the radiomics signature was validated and compared with radiologists' interpretations. STATISTICAL TESTS A radiomics signature was developed by a least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO) regression algorithm. Samples enrolled were randomly divided into two groups (143 for training and 67 for validation). Discrimination, calibration, and clinical usefulness were validated by analysis of the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve, calibration curve, and the decision curve, respectively. The predictive performance was then compared with visual assessments of three radiologists. RESULTS The radiomics signature yielded an AUC of 0.902 and 0.883 in the training and validation cohort, respectively, and outperformed the visual assessment (AUC: 0.600-0.697) in the validation cohort. Pairwise comparisons demonstrated that the radiomics signature was more sensitive than the radiologists (75.00% vs. 46.88%-50.00%, all P < 0.05), but obtained comparable specificities (91.43% vs. (88.57%-94.29%); P ranged from 0.64-1.00). DATA CONCLUSION A radiomics signature was developed and validated that outperformed the radiologists' visual assessments in predicting ECE status. LEVEL OF EVIDENCE 4 Technical Efficacy Stage: 2 J. To investigate the impact of applying three different volume of interests (VOIs) in ADC map-based radiomic analysis and compare their diagnostic performance in the differentiation of uterine sarcoma and atypical leiomyoma. Seventy-eight patients (29 uterine sarcomas, 49 uterine leiomyomas) imaged with pelvic magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) prior to surgery were included in this retrospective study. Manually, segmentations of VOIs covered three different regions on apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) maps: (1) tumor, (2) tumor and small piece of surrounded tissue, and (3) whole uterus. Texture and non-texture features were extracted from each VOI. The 0.623 + bootstrap method and the area under the receiver-operating characteristic curve (AUC) were used to select the features. Twenty logistic regression models (orders of 1–20) based on different combination of image features were built for each way of image segmentation. For the first VOI region, model 18 with 18 features yielded the highest AUC of 0.830, sensitivity of 76.0 %, specificity of 73.2 %, and accuracy of 73.9 %. For the second VOI region, model 17 with 17 features yielded the highest AUC of 0.853, sensitivity of 75.5 %, specificity of 75.5 %, and accuracy of 76.8 %. For the third VOI region, model 20 with 20 features yielded the highest AUC of 0.876, sensitivity of 76.3 %, specificity of 84.5 %, and accuracy of 82.4 %. Radiomic model based on features extracted from VOI that covered the whole uterus had the best diagnostic performance. Adopting VOI contained more image information that was useful in improving diagnostic performance of radiomic model.

Background: Maternal diet is critical to the development of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM), but sparse studies have applied the Chinese Dietary Balance Index for Pregnancy (DBI-P) to assess the maternal dietary quality and its relationship with GDM. We aimed to examine the maternal dietary quality and its relationship with GDM risk using the newly developed DBI-P. Methods: We included 1122 pregnant women from the Tongji Birth Cohort (TJBC) in Wuhan, China. The semi-quantitative food frequency questionnaire (FFQ) was used to obtain the dietary information during pregnancy. The newly developed DBI-P, including DBI-P components and DBI-P dietary patterns, was applied to comprehensively evaluate the maternal dietary quality. GDM was diagnosed by the 75-g, 2-h oral glucose tolerance test at 24-28 weeks gestation. We used a generalized linear regression model to examine the relationship between DBI-P components and blood glucose levels, and a logistic regression model to examine the relationship between dietary patterns and GDM. Results: A total of 179 participants (16.0%) were diagnosed with GDM. There is a widespread phenomenon of dietary imbalance among pregnant women in Wuhan. With per score increase in nuts and eggs, fasting blood glucose increase by 0.03 mmol/l (95% CI: 0.01, 0.05) and 0.01 mmol/l (95 %CI: 0.01, 0.03), respectively, while per score increase in fruits, 1-h post-load blood glucose decreased by 0.05 mmol/l (95% CI: -0.10, -0.01). Besides, compared with pattern E characterized by higher intake of total energy, total fat, fruits, and cooking oil, pattern B (OR: 0.51, 95% CI: 0.26, 0.99) and pattern C (OR: 0.27, 95% CI: 0.09, 0.81) were associated with a lower GDM risk. The associations between dietary patterns and GDM risk may be partly attributed to the intakes of dietary total fat, carbohydrate, cholesterol, eggs, and cooking oil. Conclusions: Unfavorable dietary quality during pregnancy is associated with a higher risk of GDM. The newly established DBI-P can provide an easy-to-implement tool to assess maternal dietary quality. These findings will provide new insights for the exploration of preferable dietary evaluation methods and prevention and control of GDM.

Background Although previous studies have found that maternal fish intake is associated with fetal growth, the role of freshwater fish intake remains unknown. Objective Our aim was to examine the relationships of freshwater fish and n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) intake with the risk of small for gestational age (SGA) in Chinese pregnant women. Design This was a prospective analysis of data from the Tongji Birth cohort in Wuhan, China, from 2018 to 2021. Participants/settings This study included 1,701 pregnant women who had completed a food frequency questionnaire dietary assessment during mid-pregnancy. Main outcome measures Intake of fish was assessed by a semi-quantitative food frequency questionnaire. Total intake of n-3 PUFAs was the sum of data collected from both dietary and supplemental sources of n-3 PUFAs. Birth information was extracted from medical records. Statistical analyses Multivariate logistic regression models were applied to estimate odds ratios and 95% CIs. Results The median (interquartile range) intake of freshwater fish and total n-3 PUFAs was 12.1 (4.3 to 26.4) g/d and 68.2 (24.5 to 370.0) mg/d, respectively. Moderate intake of freshwater fish was associated with reduced risk of SGA. Compared with the lowest quintile (0–3.2 g/d), the multivariable-adjusted odds ratio for women in the fourth quintile of freshwater fish intake (17.9 to 30.0 g/d) was 0.50 (95% CI 0.25 to 0.96). We found a nonlinear association between freshwater fish intake and SGA risk (Pnonlinearity = .027). However, maternal n-3 PUFAs intake was not significantly associated with SGA risk, either from total intake or from dietary sources alone. Conclusions Moderate freshwater fish intake during pregnancy is associated with lower risk of SGA in a Chinese population. This finding provides supportive evidence for freshwater fish intake during pregnancy, particularly for the inland areas of developing countries.

Background. Asthma is a complex inflammatory disorder that plagues a large number of people. Schisandrin B is an active ingredient of the traditional Chinese herbal medicine Schisandra with various proven physiological activities such as anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activities. In this study, we explored the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects and provided the mechanistic insights into the activity of schisandrin B in a mouse model of ovalbumin- (OVA-) induced allergic asthma. Methods. Male BALB/c mice were sensitized and challenged with OVA to induce asthma and treated with various doses (15 mg/kg, 30 mg/kg, and 60 mg/kg) of SCH to alleviate the features of allergic asthma, airway hyperresponsiveness, inflammatory response, OVA-specific immunoglobulin (Ig)E level, and pathological injury. Results. Schisandrin B significantly attenuated the airway hyperresponsiveness induced by OVA. Moreover, schisandrin B administration suppressed inflammatory responses, reduced the level of IgE, and attenuated pathological injury. Mechanistically, schisandrin B treatment promoted the activation of nuclear erythroid 2-related factor 2 (Nrf2), but suppressed the stimulation of the NF-κB pathway caused by OVA. Conclusion. Taken together, our study suggests that schisandrin B attenuates the features of asthmatic lungs by inhibiting the NF-κB pathway and activating the Nrf2 signaling pathway.

The present study aimed to investigate the anatomical microstructure, features and signals of the fetal thymus by 3.0T FS-T2 weighted turbo spin echo sequences, which could provide imaging evidence for the evaluation of early-stage development of fetal thymus. In addition, the T2-weighted three-dimensional (3D) sequences and the 3D processing may contribute to the establishment of reference ranges for the fetal thymus. A total of 64 specimens obtained from the fetuses of 16-39 weeks of gestational age (GA) were scanned by 3.0T MRI. Morphological changes and quantitative measurements of the fetal thymus were assessed, including the anteroposterior diameter, width, height, surface area and volume. The shape of fetal thymus varied and the majority were X-shaped, with a narrow top and wide bottom. Morphology measurements demonstrated gradual growth with increasing GA. There were high linear correlations between width, height, surface area and volume and GA. No significant differences were observed between the sexes. Post-mortem 3.0T MRI clearly demonstrated changes in external contours and internal structure with GA. The images and data obtained reflect normal development of the fetal thymus and enrich the imaging data of fetal morphometry.

A novel Fe-catalyzed protocol for the controllable synthesis of pyrido[2,3-b]indol-4-ones or indolo[3,2-b]quinolines has been developed by using indole-2-carboxylic derivatives as starting materials. Indole-2-carboxenamines were transformed into pyrido[2,3-b]indol-4-ones through intramolecular N–H/C–H coupling, in which a carbonyl 1,2-migration was involved. Whereas, when indole-2-carboxarylamines were employed, indolo[3,2-b]quinolones were produced through direct N–H/C–H coupling. The desired products were obtained under mild reaction conditions in moderate to good yields with wide substrate scope. The natural product quindolinone was conveniently prepared by this reaction.

AIM Maternal complications caused by the cesarean delivery inhibit the capability of preserving the uterus and subsequent fertility. However, successful restoration of the incisional scar continuously still remains a challenge. This work was to evaluate the repairing effect of Human Wharton's Jelly Mesenchymal Stem Cells (hWJ-MSC) on incisional scar of the uterine. METHODS Eighteen rats were randomly assigned into two groups and nine for each: one group injected with hWJ-MSC in phosphate buffer saline (PBS) and the other injected with PBS for comparison. RESULTS With hWJ-MSC in PBS injected, the uterine endometrium and myometrium with full-thickness injury were restored and the functionality was greatly improved in comparison with the group only with PBS injected. CONCLUSION The hWJ-MSC can repair the injured uterine effectively by promoting the uterine endometrium and myometrium cells proliferation and according to the chi-square analysis the pregnancy is improved.

Objectives To compare high b value (2000 s/mm2) reduced field-of-view (rFOV) diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) with a conventional DWI sequence in terms of image quality, as well as diagnostic performance concerning prostate cancer (PCa) detection and tumor staging at 3 T. Methods Sixty-one patients underwent rFOV DWI and conventional DWI due to clinical suspicious of PCa were retrospectively recruited. Imaging qualities were evaluated qualitatively and quantitatively by two blinded radiologists. Thirty-two subjects with detailed pathology reports were further analyzed for diagnostic efficacy using the Prostate Imaging Reporting and Data System (PI-RADS) version 2. The PCa detection rate, sensitivity, specificity, and PI-RADS staging changes were compared between the DWI sequences. Results Qualitative evaluation regarding image quality was significantly better in rFOV DWI than in the conventional DWI (all P Conclusion The rFOV DWI could offer improved image quality and yielded better diagnostic performance in terms of higher tumor detection rate and relatively precise staging for PCa compared to the conventional sequence.

A novel Fe-catalyzed protocol for the controllable synthesis of pyrido[2,3-b]indol-4-ones or indolo[3,2-b]quinolines has been developed by using indole-2-carboxylic derivatives as starting materials. Indole-2-carboxenamines were transformed into pyrido[2,3-b]indol-4-ones through intramolecular N-H/C-H coupling, in which a carbonyl 1,2-migration was involved. Whereas, when indole-2-carboxarylamines were employed, indolo[3,2-b]quinolones were produced through direct N-H/C-H coupling. The desired products were obtained under mild reaction conditions in moderate to good yields with wide substrate scope. The natural product quindolinone was conveniently prepared by this reaction.

To develop a radiomics model in the preoperative differentiation of mucinous cystic neoplasm (MCN) and macrocystic serous cystadenoma (MaSCA) and to compare its diagnostic performance with conventional radiological model.57 Patients (MCN = 31, MaSCA = 26) with preoperative multidetector computed tomography (MDCT) scans were retrospectively included in this study. A radiological model was constructed from radiological features evaluated by radiologists. A radiomics model was constructed with high-dimensional quantitative features extracted from manually segmented volume of interests (VOIs). A combined model was constructed using both radiomics features and radiological features. The diagnostic performance of three models were assessed by the area under the receiver-operating characteristic curve (AUC), sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, and the calibration curves.The radiological model yielded an AUC of 0.775, sensitivity of 74.2 %, specificity of 80.8, and accuracy of 77.2 %. The radiomics model yielded an AUC of 0.989, sensitivity of 93.6 %, specificity of 96.2 %, and accuracy of 94.7 %. The combined model yielded an AUC of 0.994, sensitivity of 96.8 %, specificity of 100 %, and accuracy of 98.2 %. Both combined model and radiomics model showed higher AUC, sensitivity, and accuracy than radiological model (all P .05). The combined model showed higher AUC than radiomics model, though no significant difference was found (P = .41). The combined model showed better calibration than radiomics model (P = .91 vs. P .001).Combined model which contained both radiomics features and radiological features outperformed radiomics model and radiological model in the preoperative differentiation of MCN and MaSCA.

A cobalt-catalyzed C H activation/cyclization of N-carbamoyl indole/benzamides with maleimides assisted by pyridinylmethylamine under mild reaction conditions is described. The synthetic strategy was developed to access imidazo[1,5-a]indole-/isoindolone-incorporated spirosuccinimides with a broad substrate scope and high regiospecificity.

Objective Obesity is now a worldwide disease and is mainly attributable to increased body fat deposition. In a growing number of epidemiological studies, lutein has been revealed to have different degrees of anti-obesity properties, but the potential underlying mechanisms that have been reported are limited. Therefore, we aimed to clarify the protective effects of lutein against excessive lipid accumulation, and we explored the role of SIRT1 and SIRT1-mediated pathways both in abdominal adipose tissue and mature 3T3-L1 cells during lutein administration. Methods In our design, male Sprague–Dawley rats were fed either control or high-fat diets with or without 25 mg/kg·bw/day lutein for 5 weeks. Additionally, differentiated 3T3-L1 cells were incubated with 40 μM lutein or 10 μM Ex527 for 24 h. Results Lutein supplementation decreased the body weight, abdominal fat index ratio, frequency and mean area of larger adipocytes in HE staining induced by the high-fat diet and then activated the expression of SIRT1 and thus upregulated FoxO1, ATGL, and HSL expression and downregulated SREBP-1, FAS, and ACC expression both in abdominal adipose tissue and differentiated 3T3-L1 cells. However, coincubation with Ex527 and lutein suppressed the activation of SIRT1 and reversed the expression of FoxO1, ATGL, HSL, SREBP-1, FAS, and ACC in comparison to those in the Lut group. Conclusions Overall, we suggest that the effects of lutein on attenuating excessive lipid accumulation are dependent on the SIRT1-mediated pathway in vivo and in vitro, which indicates that lutein administration may be a potential strategy for preventing excessive lipid accumulation and obesity.

Isoindigo (iI)-containing donor (D)–acceptor (A)-type polymers have rarely been used as electrochromic materials although their applications in the field of organic photoelectric devices have achieved significant progress in only a few years. Three conjugated polymers, namely, P1–P3, were synthesized via the random copolymerization of three units, including thiophene and 3,3-bis-decyl-3,4-dihydro-2H-thieno[3,4-b][1,4]dioxepine (ProDOT-decyl2) as the D units, and alkyl-substituted isoindigo as the A unit, and the reactions were conducted by the Stille polymerization method. The results showed that the feed ratio of the D units to the A unit had a substantial effect on the electrochemical properties, optical band gap, color presentation, and electrochromic parameters (changes in transmittance, response time, coloration efficiency and persistence of optical contrasts for a long period) of the conjugated polymers. Polymers were easily obtained with the feed ratios (thiophene:iI:ProDOT) of 2:1:1, 4:1:3, and 5:1:4 for P1, P2 and P3, respectively. P1 exhibits a cyan color in the neutral state and a transmissive grey color in the oxidized state. Both P2 and P3 display a change from black to transmissive on conversion from the neutral to the oxidized state. An increase in the ProDOT content was helpful for enabling the extension of the absorption peak of the polymers across the entire spectrum and also improving the switching property of the polymers. In general, the introduction of iI as the A unit for the construction of D–A-type polymers provides the field of electrochromic devices with verifiable performance and deserves further investigation to obtain more promising electrochromic materials.
