Our research is about the premature infant Monitoring system based on wireless Technology. A prototype is developed which gives a reliable and efficient baby monitoring system that can play a significant role in providing higher kid care. This system monitor vital parameters such as body Temperature, Pulse rate, Cry Movement ,Blood oxygen level(spo2),heart rate and the physical activity of an infant and using GSM Network .GSM is an open and digital cellular technology used for transmitting mobile voice and data services operates at the 850MHZ and 1900MHZ frequency bands. This information is transferred to their parents. Measurements of these vital parameters can be done and underneath risk, Scenario sent to the parents with SMS alert to intimate the proper control action. So that we can reduce the death of the premature fetus.

Privacy is one of the most popular technologies in the IT industry. A lot of data is collected from users from various sources. The same IoT (Internet of Things) application raised concerns about privacy in IoT systems. Sensor data collects information about users' daily activities and makes life easier, but compromises privacy and security. Implementing privacy and security into applications is a huge challenge. This article presents common methods for maintaining privacy and protecting statistics in IoT applications. To this end, many encryption methods are analysed, and finally, a comparative analysis of personal information protection methods and their applications is presented.

Copper oxide nanoparticles were synthesized by Chemical Precipitation Method using Copper Chloride Dihydrate (CuCl2. 2H2O), Sodium hydroxide (NaOH) as a precipitating agent. The Synthesized Copper Oxide nanoparticles were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), Energy Dispersive X-ray (EDX) Spectroscopy, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR). The Antibacterial activity of copper Oxide nanoparticles was tested against both gram positive and negative bacteria. In XRD, the crystal size and dislocation density of Copper Oxide nanoparticles were calculated, Element’s purity was determined by EDX spectra. The SEM image confirms the presence of homogeneous spherical distribution of copper oxide nanoparticles. The nanoparticles shows interactions between copper and oxygen atoms were supported by FTIR studies. Copper Oxide nanoparticles have exhibits good antibacterial activity against Klebsiella pneumonia, Escherichia coli,Staphylococcus, and Bacillus cereus.

In material science, green method for synthesis of nanomaterials is feasible, cheaper and eco-friendly protocol. To accomplish this phenomenon, present study was aimed to synthesize Copper oxide nanoparticles using leaf extract of Aloevera with two different precursors CuCl2.2H2O (Cupric chloride) and CuSo4.5H2O (Cupric sulfate). The extraction of Aloevera is employed as reducing and stabilizing agent for this synthesis.Copper oxide Nanoparticles is effective use of biomedical application due to their antibacterial function. The synthesized Copper oxide nanoparticles were characterized by X-Ray Diffraction Spectroscopy (XRD), Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDX), FourierTransform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT- IR) and Scanning Electron Microscope(SEM). XRD studies reveal the crystallographic nature of Copper oxide nanoparticles. Furthermore the Copper oxide nanoparticles have good Antibacterial activity against both gram negative (E.Coli, Klebsiella pneumonia) and gram positive (Bacillus cereus, Staphylococcus aureus)bacteria.

Introduction: Patients with infective hepatitis are faced with danger of pancreas getting affected. This can be reflected as increased serum amylase values. Objective: To study serum amylase in patients with infective hepatitis. Materials and Methods: Present study was cross sectional study. Two groups of patients were compared. One group was with infective hepatitis and the other group was without infective hepatitis. This was a hospital based comparative study. Serum amylase was determined using modified Huggins and Russel method. Results: The mean serum amylase value was 70.4 units among cases and it was 22.8 among the controls. The difference in the values was found to be statistically significant. It was found that the mean serum amylase value was 22.8 in the age group of 20-34 years which slightly increased in the age group of 35-49 years and again decreased slightly above the age of 50 years. Hence the difference was not found to be statistically significant. Conclusion: There is a significant increase in the serum amylase levels values among patients with infective hepatitis. Introduction:There are few longitudinal studies about South Asians (SAs) and little information about recruitment and retention approaches for this ethnic group.Methods:We followed 906 SAs enrolled in the Mediators of Atherosclerosis in South Asians Living in America (MASALA) cohort for 5 years. Surviving participants were invited for a second clinical exam from 2015 to 2018. A new wave of participants was recruited during 2017–2018. We assessed the yields from different methods of recruitment and retention.Results:A total of 759 (83%) completed the second clinical exam, and 258 new participants were enrolled. Providing a nearby community hospital location for the study exam, offering cab/shared ride reimbursement, and conducting home visits were the most effective methods for enhancing retention. New participant recruitment targeted women and individuals with lower socioeconomic status, and we found that participant referrals and active community engagement were most effective. Mailing invitational letters to those identified by electronic health records had very low yield.Conclusion:Recruitment and retention strategies that address transportation barriers and increase community engagement will help increase the representation of SAs in health research.

Usually in the citrus industries, fruit grading is performed by humans through visual inspection. Manual inspection implies several problems in maintaining grading consistency and sorting uniformity. Citrus classification is normally achieved based on external visible criteria, such as size, shape and color. This problem has been addressed using computer vision algorithms, but an automatic grading machine based on computer vision usually requires large computational resources in order to perform the classification due to the complexity of the computer vision operators. This paper describes an embedded color-based citrus selection system implemented on a raspberry pi device.

AIM: To evaluate the efficacy of plain ropivacaine 0.25% with that of ropivacaine 0.25% and clonidine 2μg/kg for post - operative analgesia caudally in paediatric patients undergoing subumblical surgeries. MATERIALS AND METHOD S: 50 paediatric patients aged between 2 - 9 years of ASA - I and II, divided into two groups. After giving GA, caudal block is performed in both the groups for post - operative analgesia. Group A r eceiving plain ropivacaine 0.25%, Group B receiving ropivacaine 0.25% and clonidine 2μg/kg, duration of analgesia, requirement of rescue medication, sedation score, hemodynamic effects and any adverse effects are compared between the two groups. RESULTS: M ean duration of analgesia in Group A is 484.04 minutes, In Group B with addition of clonidine is 771.12 minutes. No of doses of rescue medication required Group A 12 patients required single dose and 2 doses in 8 patients, In Group B 7 patients required si ngle dose and one patient required 2 doses. CONCLUSION: Clonidine as an adjunct to ropivacaine prolongs the duration of analgesia decrease the need of postoperative rescue analgesia with stable hemodynamics.

Background: Several studies have reported elevated blood cholesterol levels among persons who regularly smoke cigarettes and lowered blood cholesterol levels among persons quitting smoking. Other studies have also shown that smoking lowers high density lipoprotein level, resulting in an increased risk of coronary heart disease. Smoking also leads to increase in LDL cholesterol and triglyceride levels. The objective was to study serum lipid profile in smokers and non-smokers.Methods: A cross sectional comparative study was carried in 100 subjects. The subjects were divided into two groups. First group consisted of 25 nonsmokers and second group of 75 smokers. The group of 75 smokers was again divided into three equal sub groups of 25 each depending upon the duration and intensity of smoking. Concentration of serum total cholesterol and HDL was determined by Zak’s method. Concentration of serum LDL and VLDL cholesterol was determined by Friedwald’s formula. Concentration of serum triglyceride level was determined by enzymatic end point peroxidase coupled method.Results: All the values of lipid profile i.e., total cholesterol, triglycerides, LDL, VLDL were found to be significantly higher among the smokers compared to the non-smokers. HDL value was significantly lower among smokers. As the degree of smoking increased from mild to heavy smokers, the values of total cholesterol, triglycerides, LDL and VLDL increased. The degree of smoking was inversely proportional to HDL values i.e., the HDL value decreased as the smoking degree increased.Conclusions: Thus, it can be said based on the present study that smoking affects and deranges the lipid profile of the person.

Background: Plasma gets exposed to the gases present in the smoke of the cigarette which leads to peroxidation. The ascorbic acid present in the body gets oxidized there is danger of derangement of lipid profile. The measure of malondialdehyde which is formed in lipid peroxidation reaction is indicative of oxidative stress. Oxidative stress seen among the smokers has been attributed to high MDA levels. Objective was to study the effect of smoking on vitamin C and MDA.Methods: Present study was cross sectional study. Two groups of subjects were compared. Out of 100 study subjects, 25 were non smokers and were kept in one group. Remaining 75 were smokers. These two groups were compared to find out how the smoking habit affects the MDA as well as vitamin C levels among them.Results: The levels of MDA were more in smokers compared to those who did not smoke and this difference was significant. Increasingly developed social websites like Flickr, Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn etc permits the users to create, share and view the post. Confidentiality is a leading factor required in Social Networks. The social users upload their photos to the social sites that intend to gain public interest for social purposes. The exposure of personal information leads to slipping process like identity stealing, morphing etc, which are against the privacy violations. Relied upon the personal characteristics of users, the privacy settings of each user should be defined. In this paper, a relational study about the privacy settings in Online Social structure is examined. Initiated by the importance of social networks among the social users and their behavior towards Online Social Networks, which is followed by the privacy techniques suggested by other researchers are explored. At last, an overview about the merits and demerits of privacy designs and schemes for the user-uploaded images are presented. The study results a new privacy system that controls the confidential information from being accessed from different devices, including mobile devices and computers.
