Introduction: Bilateral tubal ligation (BTL) is the most reliable form of permanent surgical contraception for women who have achieved their desired number of children or are limited due to medical conditions. Objectives: Assess the level of knowledge of women on this issue and identify related factors affecting knowledge, and awareness as well as the decision to use the BTL method. Methodology: A cross-sectional descriptive study with a convenient sampling method on 189 married and reproductive-age women who visited Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital from June 2022 to October 2022. The toolkit includes 17 questions divided into 2 areas: knowledge and perception when using this method. The data were processed and analyzed using SPSS 20.0 software. Results: 32% of women have good knowledge and 68% have bad knowledge. The factors related to knowledge include age, education level, occupation, current number of children alive and status of sexually transmitted diseases (p < 0.05). The percentage agreeing to use this method is 66% and disagreeing is 34%. Factors related to women’s decision to have BTL include The benefit of bilateral tubal ligation, the Husband’s consent, the difficulties of giving a decision, fear of surgery, fear of regret, and lack of information about this method (mean > 3). Conclusion: It is necessary to determine the level of knowledge, awareness, and related factors of women of reproductive age about the BTL method, from which there are timely interventions and counseling for women in the antenatal period so they can make the most appropriate decision. Tin dioxide (SnO 2 ) nanosheets/graphitic carbon nitride (g-C 3 N 4 ) composite was prepared by a hydrothermal method using mercapto acetic acid as the morphology directing agent in an acidic medium. The as-obtained composite was characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscope, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy; the results of this study show that in the composite, SnO 2 nanosheets with a thickness in the range ∼20–25 nm dispersed well on the g-C 3 N 4 . The lithium storage capability of the composite was investigated. The cycling performance of the composite was improved and is believed to be attributed by the presence of g-C 3 N 4 support.

The demand for well-designed nanostructured composites with enhanced electrochemical performance for lithium-ion batteries electrode materials has been emerging. In order to improve the electrochemical performance of MoS2-based anode materials, MoS2 nanosheets integrated with g-C3N4 (MoS2/g-C3N4 composite) was synthesized by a facile heating treatment from the precursors of thiourea and sodium molybdate at 550 &deg, C under N2 gas flow. The structure and composition of MoS2/g-C3N4 were confirmed by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, infrared spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis and elemental analysis. The lithium storage capability of the MoS2/g-C3N4 composite was evaluated, indicating high capacity and stable cycling performance at 1 C (A&middot, g&minus, 1) with a reversible capacity of 1204 mA&middot, h&middot, 1 for 200 cycles. This result is believed the role of g-C3N4 as a supporting material to accommodate the volume change and improve charge transport for nanostructured MoS2. Additionally, the contribution of the pseudocapacitive effect was also calculated to further clarify the enhancement in Li-ion storage performance of the composite.
