Abstract Objective This study aims to investigate the connection between dominant decision-making style and creativity among nursing managers. Background The dominant style of decision-making nursing managers use definitely affects the quality of decisions. Also, in another way, it can develop a skill of creative thinking that may influence the entire health care system. Methods Data from 229 nursing managers in four university hospitals were gathered using a cross-sectional study methodology and questionnaires about general decision-making styles and managerial creativity. Results nursing managers are highly creative. In general, the dominant decision-making style is rational and is correlated positively with creativity. Dependent style is the second one, while it is correlated negatively and significantly with creativity. Intuitive style is the third one and correlated negatively but is insignificant with creativity. Regression analysis revealed that only three styles have an effect on creativity: rational (positive), dependent (negative), and avoidant (negative), respectively. Conclusion The most dominant style is rational, which has the highest effect, which is positive on creativity. The dependent is the second dominant style and has a negative effect. Whereas intuitive is the third dominant style and did not have any effect on creativity.

Background: Many students enter different educational levels each year with enthusiasm, passion and hope for future. Although it is expeted that the enthusiasm and passion would last to amount to personal and social progress in the best possible way, some students get academic burnout, Therefore, the main issue of the study is to investigate the structural relationship between responsibility and academic burnout with the mediation of decision-making styles of high school students. Aims: The present research aimed to study the structural relationship between responsibility and academic burnout with mediating role of decision-making styles in the secondary high school students. Methods: This was a descriptive reseach with correlation methods and structural equation modeling. The statistical population of the research included all the male students (2031 members, that among them, 323 have been chosen by Cluster Random Sampling method) studying in grades 10 and 11 in secondary public high schools of Yazd, in the educational year 2019-20. Gathering data is made possible by questionnaire of evaluating the level of students' responsibility (Monireh Kordloo, 2010), GDMS general decision making questionnaire (Scott & Bruce, 1995) and MBI-SS educational burn-out questionnaire (Breso and colleauges, 2007). Afterwards, The data has been scrutinized through Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA) and Regression analysis. Version 24 of AMOS software is used for analyzing data in this research. Results: The results revealed that responsibility has negative and statistical significance on the secondary high school students' academic burnout (P0/01). Conclusion: Regarding the importance of responsibility and students' decision-making styles variables that are in correlation with burnout variable and the necessity of improving them to enhance the academic and educational quality, it is vital to evaluate and indicate the relationship between these variables.

The aim of current study was predicting emotional divorce based on decision- making styles and power structure of the family among employed women of the Shahrood city. In this descriptive-correlational study, all employed women in Shahrood city were considered as statistical population and among them 384 people were considered as statistical sample using Morgan table and also multi-stage sampling. Data were collected using standard questionnaires of decision making styles of Scott and Bruce (1995), Power Structure of Mahdavi and Khosroshahi (2003), as well as Gottman's emotional divorce (1995). After collecting questionnaires, data was analyzed using correlation and regression tests. The results of this study showed that The results of this study showed that the beta coefficient for immediate, avoidance, intuitive and dependent decision making styles is positive, but negative for rational decision making style. Also, the outcomes revealed that among the various dimensions of decision making styles, intuitive and rational decision-making styles are one of the most important predictors of emotional divorce. It was also founded that there is a meaningful relationship between the subsystems of power structure and emotional divorce, and all three dimensions of "method of exercising power", "building power relations" and "domains and scope of power" have ability of predicting emotional divorce. Considering the high average score in emotional divorce, appropriate measures are needed to reduce the effects and symptoms of emotional divorce to improving the marital relationships of employed women in Shahrood
