Existing methods for heterogeneous network representation learning mainly focus on static networks, overlooking the significant impact of temporal attributes on node representations. However, real heterogeneous information networks are very dynamic, and even minor changes in nodes and edges can affect the entire structure and semantics. In this context, a dynamic heterogeneous network representation learning method based on Hawkes process was proposed. Firstly, the vector representation of nodes was obtained by utilizing the relational rotation encoding method and attention mechanism, where the attention coefficients of adjacent nodes were learned. Secondly, the optimal weighted combination of different meta-paths was learned to better captures the structural and semantic information of the network. Finally, leveraging the time decay effect, time features were introduced into node representations through the formation of neighborhood sequences, resulting in the ultimate embedding representation of nodes. Experimental results on various benchmark datasets indicate that the proposed method significantly outperforms baseline methods. In node classification tasks, Macro-F1 average is increased by 0.15% to 3.45%, and NMI value in node clustering tasks is improved by 1.08% to 3.57%.

The aim of the present study is to explore the potential prediction value of neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) or peripheral blood platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) for rebleeding in patients with esophagogastric variceal bleeding (EVB). We have enrolled 80 rebleeding patients with EVB and 113 EVB patients without rebleeding in the present study. The lymphocyte, platelet counts, the PLR, and the NLR of the candidates were calculated, and receiver-operating characteristic curve was drawn to examine whether NLR or PLR is a sensitive biomarker for distinguishing rebleeding patients from the EVB patients. We observed that NLR and PLR were all significantly increased in rebleeding patients with EVB compared with the non-rebleeding patients (p < 0.01); moreover, the area under the curve of NLR and PLR was 0.7037 (95% confidence interval [CI], 0.6281–0.7792) and 0.7468 (95% CI, 0.6793–0.8144), respectively, suggesting that NLR or PLR is a sensitive biomarker for distinguishing non-rebleeding patients from the rebleeding patients. We reported that NLR and PLR were significantly increased in the peripheral blood of patient with esophagogastric variceal rebleeding, suggesting that NLR and PLR may be potential early diagnostic and prognostic markers for the rebleeding among patients with EVB.

ObjectivesAs the main equipment of the dry cooling system, the aerodynamic performances of axial flow fans play an important role in the flow and heat transfer performances of the direct dry cooling system. Because the flow and heat transfer problems of the air-cooled island spans multiple scales in geometric dimensions, the experimental method is hard to realize while the numerical simulation method is usually used. Therefore, it is necessary to discuss and analyze the accuracy of simplified lumped parameter fan model (i. e., the simplified model) used in the previous simulation work.MethodsBased on the numerical simulation method, the real model containing the fan blade fan model (real model) model and the simplified model were both built. Under different weather conditions, the transport properties of the direct dry cooling system were studied. The comparison and analysis of the air-side pressure field and flow field distributions were conducted. Furthermore, the pressure drops and flow rate of the cooling air through the axial flow fan in each air-cooled condenser cell of the direct dry cooling system with different fan models were analyzed and compared.ResultsThe difference between the real model and the simplified model is mainly reflected for the axial flow fans with low flow rates, and the difference becomes more obvious with the increase of wind speed.ConclusionsThe results of this paper can provide reference for improving the accuracy of numerical simulation of the direct dry cooling system.

ObjectiveTo design a prospective nested case-control study based on a city-wide birth cohort of Shanghai， so as to understand their health status and explore the influencing factors of birth defects.MethodsBased on the birth registration covering the entire city of Shanghai， the nested case-control study of children with severe birth defects was designed. Children born with severe birth defects were selected as the case group， and healthy children were matched as the control group. Basic information， health status， maternal pregnancy history， and survival outcome of children both in the case group and the control group were collected through medical history review and home visits. The logistic regression model was used for multivariate analysis.ResultsA total of 18 875 infants born between January 1， 2011， and December 31， 2021， were included， among which 11 500 （60.93%） were children with severe birth defects and 7 375 （39.07%） were healthy children. The logistic regression model analysis showed that being male （OR=1.20， 95%CI：1.13‒1.29）， non-Shanghai residency （OR=1.16， 95%CI： 1.06‒1.25）， multiple births （OR=8.41， 95%CI：6.25‒11.30）， artificial insemination （OR=2.31， 95%CI：1.34‒3.99）， in vitro fertilization （IVF） （OR=1.85， 95%CI：1.44‒2.38）， maternal exposure to radiation （OR=1.83， 95%CI：1.07‒3.14）， maternal illness during pregnancy （OR=1.61， 95%CI：1.49‒1.74）， experiencing a traumatic event during pregnancy （OR=2.34， 95%CI：1.88‒2.92）， paternal chemical exposure （OR=1.88， 95%CI：1.32‒2.69）， paternal radiation exposure （OR=1.65， 95%CI： 1.18‒2.33）， family history of birth defects （OR=8.18， 95%CI： 3.96‒16.89）， being overweight before pregnancy （OR=1.16， 95%CI： 1.07‒1.27）， being obese before pregnancy （OR=1.15， 95%CI：1.03‒1.30）， and being excessively obese before pregnancy （OR=1.52， 95%CI：1.26‒1.83） were risk factors for the occurrence of birth defects. Analysis by type of birth defect found that prematurity was a risk factor for cardiac malformations and cheilopalatoschisis （OR=27.87， 95%CI： 20.84‒37.27）， especially ranking first in cardiac malformations.ConclusionAfter controlling for influencing factors， maternal overweight， obesity， and excessive obesity before pregnancy， artificial insemination， and IVF are independent risk factors for the occurrence of birth defects. Choosing a healthy lifestyle， improving physical and mental health during pregnancy， and controlling BMI during pregnancy are beneficial in reducing the risk of birth defects.

BackgroundNon-suicidal self-injury （NSSI） behavior is highly prevalent in middle school students， which poses a significant risk to the physical and mental health of middle school students， so finding ways to improve the NSSI behavior among middle school students is of great significance for promoting their healthy growth.ObjectiveTo investigate the relationship between psychological quality and NSSI behavior among middle school students in western Anhui， and to examine the pathway of coping style in the above relationship.MethodsFrom November to December 2020， 22 872 middle school students in western Anhui were selected using stratified cluster random sampling method， and were subjected to complete the assessment of Adolescent Non-suicidal Self-injury Assessment Questionnaire （ANSAQ）， Adolescent's Psychological Suzhi Scale-Simplified Version （APSS-SV） and Coping Style Scale for Middle School Students （CSSMSS）. Spearman correlation analysis was adopted to examine the correlation among scores of scales and the frequency of NSSI behavior in middle school students. Amos 23.0 was utilized to test the pathway of coping style in the relationship between psychological quality and NSSI behavior.ResultsA total of 21 718 （94.95%） middle school students completed the effective questionnaire survey. NSSI behavior was detected in 7 798 middle school students （35.91%）. Objective To evaluate the reliability, validity and diagnostic accuracy of the Canadian Longitudinal Study on Aging Epilepsy Algorithm (CLSA-EA) questionnaire (Chinese version) in screening Chinese adult epilepsy. Methods From August to October 2022, a total of 384 subjects and patients were included, who were respectively screened from urban and rural communities in Chengdu, Sichuan, and Department of Neurology of West China Hospital, Sichuan University. The CLSA - EA questionnaire (Chinese version) was used for the survey. Epilepsy was diagnosed according to 2014 International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE) criteria. Kappa coefficient and Cronbach's α coefficient were used to evaluate testretest reliability and internal consistency, respectively. Construct validity was used to test validity. The accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value and diagnostic consistency κ value were calculated by confusion matrix method to evaluate the effect of screening. Results Finally, 348 questionnaires were obtained, including 190 epileptic cases (54.60%) and 158 nonepileptic cases (45.40%), of which 244 were retested subjects, including 123 epileptic cases (50.41%) and 121 non-epileptic cases (49.59%). Retest reliability analysis in epileptic cases showed that the consistency of items Q3a, Q3bⅲ , Q3bⅳ , Q4a and Q4b in CLSA-EA questionnaire (Chinese version) had moderate consistency (0.400 ≤ κ < 0.750; P = 0.000, for all). Items Q1, Q2, Q3bⅰ, Q3bⅱ, Q3bⅴ, Q3bⅵ and Q3bⅶ had poor consistency (0.000 ≤ κ < 0.400; P < 0.05, for all). In non-epileptic cases, the consistencies of items Q2, Q3a, Q3bⅰ, Q4a and Q4b were moderate (P = 0.000, for all), Q3bⅴ and Q3bⅵ were poor (P = 0.000, for all), and no consistencies of Q3bⅱ , Q3bⅲ and Q3bⅳ were found (P > 0.05, for all). The internal consistency evaluation in epileptic cases showed that the internal consistency of all items and the sum of all items in the CLSA-EA questionnaire (Chinese version) were poor (Cronbach's α coefficient < 0.700). The internal consistency of items Q4a and Q4b for non-epileptic patients was also poor, but other items and the sum of all items were acceptable (Cronbach's α coefficient 0.700-0.800). The structural validity analysis showed that the cumulative variance contribution rate of the four factors was only 43%, and items Q1 and Q3a were not incorporated into the factors. The accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value and consistency of CLSA -EA2 epilepsy determination algorithm were higher (> 0.900, for all). Conclusions The CLSA - EA questionnaire (Chinese version) has high sensitivity and specificity, which can guide the preliminary screening of epilepsy in China. However, the applicability, reliability and validity still need to be further considered.

Abstract Background Sodium glucose cotransporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitors are widely used in type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) therapy. The impact of SGLT2 inhibitors on bone metabolism has been widely taken into consideration. But there are controversial results in the study on the effect of SGLT2 inhibitors on bone metabolism in patients with T2DM. Therefore, we aimed to examine whether and to what extent SGLT2 inhibitors affect bone metabolism in patients with T2DM. Methods A literature search of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) was conducted through PubMed, Web of Science, Embase, Cochrane databases, and Scopus from inception until 15 April 2023. Eligible RCTs compared the effects of SGLT2 inhibitors versus placebo on bone mineral density and bone metabolism in patients with T2DM. To evaluate the differences between groups, a meta-analysis was conducted using the random effects inverse-variance model by utilizing standardized mean differences (SMD). Results Through screening, 25 articles were finally included, covering 22,828 patients. The results showed that, compared with placebo, SGLT2 inhibitors significantly increased parathyroid hormone (PTH, SMD = 0.13; 95%CI: 0.06, 0.20), and cross-linked C-terminal telopeptides of type I collagen (CTX, SMD = 0.11; 95%CI: 0.01, 0.21) in patients with T2DM, decreased serum alkaline phosphatase levels (ALP, SMD = -0.06; 95%CI: -0.10, -0.03), and had no significant effect on bone mineral density (BMD), procollagen type 1 N-terminal propeptide (P1NP), 25-hydroxy vitamin D, tartrate resistant acid phosphatase-5b (TRACP-5b) and osteocalcin. Conclusions SGLT2 inhibitors may negatively affect bone metabolism by increasing serum PTH, CTX, and decreasing serum ALP. This conclusion needs to be verified by more studies due to the limited number and quality of included studies. Systematic review registration PROSPERO, identifier CRD42023410701

In this paper, we presented a quantitative refocused INEPT (Refocused Insensitive Nuclei Enhanced by Polarization Transfer) method based on simulated annealing optimization, which utilizes the optimized polarization transfer and refocus delay set to yield nearly uniform enhancement for CH, CH2 and CH3 groups. The 180° composite pulses are applied in 13C channel to overcome the inhomogeneity of B1 field and the offset effect to improve the measurement reliability. Simulated annealing optimization is further applied to achieve quantitative spectral editing of refocused INEPT. The above methods were validated using model compounds such as artemisinin and simvastatin, and the relative standard deviations of the quantitative integrals with Case I delay set were 1.6% and 3.3%, respectively. As an application of the proposed method, major fatty acid compositions in soybean oils were determined using quantitative refocused INEPT, and the results were consistent with those determined by conventional quantitative 13C NMR, while the measurement time was significantly reduced. The quantitative refocused INEPT method is particularly attractive for rapid, accurate detection of complex systems such as petroleum and polymers.

The 3D laser scanning technology is widely used in the research of deformation monitoring technology for long roadways. But there is a phenomenon of benchmark point displacement in the point cloud data collected through multiple scans in current research. The common features of adjacent point cloud data collected are not obvious, and the splicing of multi site clouds will lead to an increase in cumulative errors. The deformation of advanced roadways is affected by advanced supports. In order to solve the above problems, based on the traditional cross point method, which involves the intersection of the midpoint of the roof and floor and the two key points of the two sides, a method for extracting the axis of the roadway based on the least squares method is proposed. The origin of the rectangular coordinate system defined by the roadway is located at the laser beam emission point. The z-axis is located within the vertical scanning plane of the laser scanner. The x-axis and y-axis are located within the horizontal scanning plane of the scanner. The central axis reflects the overall direction and position and posture of the roadway. When the roadway excavation is completed without being affected by mining, the entire roadway is scanned for the first time, and the center point of the entire roadway is determined by the least squares method. Each center point is connected and fitted to form a complete central axis. In the subsequent monitoring of roadway deformation, point cloud data is superimposed based on the midpoint position of the first monitoring to accurately obtain the changes in various point clouds within the roadway cross-section, and thus obtain the deformation of the roadway. And the roadway section is constructed based on the fitted central axis. A 3D laser scanning system is used to test the deformation of the 30507 working face return air roadway in Tashan Coal Mine. The results showed the following points. ① The deformation of the roadway decreases with the increase of the distance from the measuring point to the working face, and the leading influence range of the 30507 working face return air roadway is 150 meters. The maximum point of roadway deformation is located on the side near the goaf of the floor. ② The advanced range determined by the 3D laser scanning and microseismic monitoring system is close, indicating that the supporting coal body has started to be under stress when entering 150 meters. The maximum point of roadway deformation is located on the side near the goaf of the floor, rather than the floor observed by the cross point observation method. This proves that the 3D laser scanning results are more accurate and greatly reduces the intensity of the operation.

This study aimed to evaluate the distribution of plasma troponin I concentration and establish the 99th percentile reference for hs-cTnI in a hospitalized population without a cardiovascular discharge diagnosis from the Shandong area.

ObjectiveTo establish the Shanghai twin birth cohort （STBC） and analyze the effects of genetic factors， shared environment， and non-shared environment interactions on birth health and growth and development of newborns.MethodsBased on the population-wide birth cohort in Shanghai， a comprehensive survey was conducted on the families with double and multiple babies born after January 1， 2015 to collect information on birth health， growth and development， and the family environment of the babies.ResultsBy December 31， 2021， a total of 7 195 pairs （14 405 cases） of twins were successfully included in the STBC survey. The average birth length of twins was 47.2 cm and average birth weight was 2 465.3 g. Heterozygous twins accounted for 69.05% and preterm babies accounted for 57.07%. The average age of the mothers of twins was 31.82 years， and the average age of the fathers was 33.87 years， with more than 80% of the parents having a college degree or above. 44.50% of the mothers used assisted reproductive technologies， 7.40% had illnesses during pregnancy， and 15.90% were exposed to passive smoking during pregnancy. During the survey period， the average monthly increase in the length of the twin infants was 2.09 cm， and the average monthly weight gain was 0.53 kg.ConclusionThe incidence of adverse outcomes such as maternal cesarean section rate， preterm birth， and low birth weight is higher in the twin birth population. Information on birth health as well as growth and development in childhood and adolescence in the twin birth population is collected based on STBC， which can provide a solid data foundation for studying children’s chronic non-communicable diseases， psychological and behavioral disorders and other complex health problems caused by the combined effects of genetics and the environment.

This paper summarized the traditional Chinese Medicine nursing measures for a patient with lymphoedema of the lower limbs after radical hysterectomy for cervical cancer. Nurses had taken the comprehensive risk assessment, medication guidance and other routine nursing interventions. Based on the syndrome differentiation, Traditional Chinese Medicine nursing techniques including acupoint application, collateral-pricking and cupping treatment, in combination with interventions of improving microcirculation of limb tissues and skin hygiene, were carried out to relieve the edema of the lower limbs and improve the activity of daily living. Objective To preliminarily summarize the epidemiological and clinical characteristics of functional movement disorder (FMD) based on movement disorders clinic in China. Methods and Results A total of 593 patients with movement disorders newly diagnosed in movement disorders clinic of 22 clinical medical centers from August to September in 2023 were included, including 37 patients (6.24%) with FMD and 556 patients (93.76%) with organic movement disorder. Comparison of the epidemiological characteristics of the 2 groups, the proportions of corona virus disease (COVID⁃19) infection (χ2 = 4.217, P = 0.040) and psychopsychological symptoms (χ2 = 18.694, P = 0.000) in the FMD group were higher than those in the organic movement disorder group, while age (t = 3.757, P = 0.000), age of onset (t = 3.720, P = 0.000) and proportion of hypertension (χ2 = 4.736, P = 0.030) were lower than those in the organic movement disorder group. Comparison of the clinical characteristics of the 2 groups, the FMD group had higher proportions of tremor (χ2 = 3.955, P = 0.047) and myoclonus (Fisher′s exact probability: P = 0.011) than the organic movement disorder group, and the proportions of parkinsonism (χ2 = 8.491, P = 0.004) and gait disorder (χ2 = 5.028, P = 0.025) were lower than those in the organic movement disorder group. Conclusions The age and age of onset, as well as the proportions of COVID⁃19 infection, hypertension, psychopsychological symptoms, tremor, myoclonus, parkinsonism and gait disorder with FMD were different from those with organic movement disorder in China.

Cultivated land is the cornerstone of grain production and the basic resource to ensure food security. Understanding the non-grain production status of cultivated land in the main grain-producing areas of western China is necessary to provide a basis for regional sustainable agricultural development and cultivated land protection decision-making. In this study, Chengdu Plain was selected as an empirical research area. A mathematical quantization model and spatial autocorrelation method were used to analyze the spatiotemporal characteristics of non-grain production of cultivated land in Chengdu Plain, and an econometric model was constructed to identify its driving factors. The results showed that the cultivated land area did not change significantly in the Chengdu Plain from 2000 to 2019; however, the small change in cultivated land area did not mean that its actual use changed little, and the non-grain production status of cultivated land was obvious. (1) From 2000 to 2019, both the Non-Grain production Area (NGA) and the Non-Grain production Rate (NGR) in Chengdu Plain showed a fluctuating and increasing trend, with an increased rate of 4.40% and 13.53%, respectively, which indicates that cultivated land protection and food security were under great pressure. (2) In terms of space, the NGA in 34 districts and counties of Chengdu Plain presents a multi-center scattered distribution, which shows a spatial pattern of high in the center and low in the northeast and southwest, and the NGA's spatial agglomeration areas are concentrated in Chengdu and its neighboring cities. (3) Economic Crop Planting Scale (ECPS), Agricultural Structure Adjustment (ASA), Urbanization Rate (UR), and Cultivated Land Protection Policy (CLPP) are the most important factors affecting the non-grain transformation of cultivated land in Chengdu Plain. Some suggestions are proposed: red lines should be drawn to implement a control system for cultivated land use; departmental collaboration must be strengthened to build a synergy of cultivated land protection; the agricultural subsidy system must be improved to defend farmers' fundamental rights and interests; and policy advocacy for cultivated land protection should be enhanced to raise food security awareness. This study can better reflect the non-grain production status of cultivated land in Chengdu Plain, and from the spatial unit of district and county, it provides a good perspective for the study of the non-grain production of cultivated land. This study also provides a scientific foundation for decision-making regarding regional sustainable agricultural development and cultivated land protection.

Abstract The existing monocular depth estimation methods based on deep learning have difficulty in estimating the depth near the edges of the objects in an image when the depth distance between these objects changes abruptly and decline in accuracy when an image has more noises. Furthermore, these methods consume more hardware resources because they have huge network parameters. To solve these problems, this paper proposes a depth estimation method based on weighted fusion and point‐wise convolution. The authors design a maximum‐average adaptive pooling weighted fusion module (MAWF) that fuses global features and local features and a continuous point‐wise convolution module for processing the fused features derived from the (MAWF) module. The two modules work closely together for three times to perform weighted fusion and point‐wise convolution of features of multi‐scale from the encoder output, which can better decode the depth information of a scene. Experimental results show that our method achieves state‐of‐the‐art performance on the KITTI dataset with δ1 up to 0.996 and the root mean square error metric down to 8% and has demonstrated the strong generalisation and robustness.

ABSTRACTThis study aimed to investigate the prognostic value of a novel droplet digital polymerase chain reaction (DDPCR) assay in sepsis patients. In this prospective cohort study, univariable and multivariable Cox regressions were used to assess risk factors for 28-day mortality. We also monitored pathogen load together with clinical indicators in a subgroup of the cohort. A total of 107 sepsis patients with positive baseline DDPCR results were included. Detection of poly-microorganisms [adjusted hazard ratio (HR) = 3.19; 95% confidence interval (CI) = 1.34–7.62; P = 0.009], high Charlson Comorbidity Index (CCI) score (adjusted HR = 1.14; 95% CI = 1.01–1.29; P = 0.041), and Sequential Organ Failure Assessment (SOFA) score (adjusted HR = 1.18; 95% CI = 1.05–1.32; P = 0.005) at baseline were independent risk factors for 28-day mortality while initial pathogen load was not associated (adjusted HR = 1.17; 95% CI = 0.82–1.66; P = 0.385). Among 63 patients with serial DDPCR results, an increase in pathogen load at days 6–8 compared to baseline was a risk factor for 28-day mortality (P = 0.008). Also, pathogen load kinetics were significantly different between day-28 survivors and nonsurvivors (P = 0.022), with a decline overtime only in survivors and an increase from days 3 and 4 to days 6–8 in nonsurvivors. Using DDPCR technique, we found that poly-microorganisms detected and increased pathogen load a week after sepsis diagnosis were associated with poor prognosis.IMPORTANCEThis prospective study was initiated to explore the prognostic implications of a novel multiplex PCR assay in sepsis. Notably, our study was the largest cohort of sepsis with droplet digital polymerase chain reaction pathogen monitoring to date, allowing for a comprehensive evaluation of the prognostic significance of both pathogen species and load. We found that detection of poly-microorganisms was an independent risk factors for 28-day mortality. Also, pathogen load increase 1 week after sepsis diagnosis was a risk factor for 28-day mortality, and differential pathogen load kinetics were identified between day-28 survivors and nonsurvivors. Overall, this study demonstrated that pathogen species and load were highly correlated with sepsis prognosis. Patients exhibiting conditions mentioned above face a more adverse prognosis, suggesting the potential need for an escalation of antimicrobial therapy.Registered at ClinicalTrials.gov (NCT05190861).

Abstract Some biomolecules involved in pathological calcification have been identified. However, the exact mechanism in which this intricate process occurs remains unknown. Extracellular DNA (exDNA) has recently been recognized as a partaker in this ectopic phenomenon. Extracellular DNA acts as an intercellular messenger that transmits information and orchestrates complex inflammatory responses. Changes in the morphology or function of exDNA may trigger calcification under pathological conditions. In the present review, recent advances on how DNA is released into the extracellular milieu to become exDNA will be highlighted in conjunction with how exDNA directly and indirectly contributes to the progression of pathological calcification. Emphasis is placed on the “gluing” effect of neutrophil extracellular traps that act as a bridge between inflammation and pathological calcification. Manipulation of exDNA may open new vistas for the development of enterprising strategies that prevent or treat pathological calcification.

We measure the green technology innovation efficiency of 288 cities in China from static and dynamic dimensions using the super−SBM model and Malmquist−Luenberger index, and employ ''Difference in Difference'' (DID) model to evaluate the impact of FTZs construction on green technology innovation efficiency using panel data from 288 prefecture-level cities from 2008 to 2020. The findings show: (1) The FTZs significantly improve green technology innovation efficiency. The decomposition indexes promote the green technology innovation efficiency more from the dynamic productivity dimension (GTFP) functioning on technological advancement. Abstract Intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR) impairs neonatal weight and causes multiple organ dysplasia. IUGR not only threatens human health but is also a significant constraint to the development of animal husbandry. However, the molecular mechanism underlying IUGR remains to be further elucidated. tRNA-derived small RNA (tsRNAs) is a regulative non-coding RNA, which has recently been reported to correlate with the onset and progression of several diseases. In this study, we investigated the tsRNAs expression profiles of IUGR pigs. A tsRNAs dataset for multiple organs in normal and IUGR pigs was generated, including muscle, liver, spleen and intestine. We further analyzed the characteristics of tsRNAs in different organs of pigs, and KEGG pathway analysis was performed to investigate possible pathways involved. This dataset will provide valuable information for further exploring the molecular mechanism of IUGR formation.

The large length of silicon nanowires (SiNWs) leads to their good optical properties, which causes increasing losses in the electrical performance of solar cells. The SiNWs in PEDOT:PSS/Si hybrid solar cells were optimized by simulations and experiments, and the effects of surface recombination rate and series resistance caused by SiNWs length on the performance of solar cells were studied. The results show that with the increase of SiNWs length, the surface recombination mainly affects the open circuit voltage and has great influence on the performance of solar cells. Moreover, the series resistance mainly affects the filling factor and has little effect on the performance of solar cells. Experiments show that when the length of SiNWs is about 246 nm, the highest conversion efficiency (12.88%) of PEDOT:PSS/Si hybrid solar cells can be obtained. The research results can provide guidance for the design of Si-based solar cells with SiNWs.

Abstract Background High fasting plasma glucose (FPG) has been listed as one of the risk factors for bladder cancer. We here estimated the global, regional, and national levels of bladder cancer burden attributable to high FPG from 1990 to 2019. Methods Bladder cancer data attributable to high FPG were extracted from the Global Burden of Disease Study 2019, and analyzed by age, sex, year, and location. Age‐standardized rates were utilized to evaluate the burden between different populations. The temporal trend of the burden was estimated through the Joinpoint analysis. Results In 2019, high FPG contributed to 22,823.33 (95% uncertainty interval [UI], 4694.88–48,962.26) deaths and 399,654.91 (95% UI, 81,609.35–865,890.95) disability‐adjusted life years (DALYs) of bladder cancer globally. Since 1990, the global age‐standardized death and DALY rates of bladder cancer attributable to high FPG increased apparently by 39.18% and 41.48%, respectively. During the last 30 years, high FPG‐related age‐standardized death and DALY rates of bladder cancer have increased in all countries. In 2019, Central Europe showed the greatest high FPG‐related age‐standardized death and DALY rates of bladder cancer, but Andean Latin America had the lowest rates. Nationally, Lebanon showed the greatest high FPG‐related age‐standardized death and DALY rates of bladder cancer in 2019. High FPG‐attributable deaths and DALYs of bladder cancer were more considerable among males and older people. Countries with high SDI showed higher levels of age‐standardized death and DALY rates of bladder cancer due to high FPG and presented remarkable upward trends in rates in the last 30 years. Conclusions Globally, the high FPG‐associated bladder cancer burden has remarkably increased in all countries, and showed a higher level among countries with higher SDI. Monitoring FPG levels among patients with bladder cancer is critical to lower the corresponding burden.

ObjectiveTo analyze the dynamic response relationship between urban development and mortality rate in Shanghai， and to predict the trend of mortality rate changes.MethodsBy analyzing the total mortality rate （TMR）， gross domestic product （GDP） and socio-demographic index （SDI） in Shanghai from 1978 to 2017， a vector autoregressive （VAR） model was constructed to evaluate the impact of urban development on the mortality rate.ResultsThe fitted R2 of the VAR model was 0.92. The short-term effect of GDP on the improvement of death level was negative， while the long-term effect was positive， and the SDI was negative regardless of the short-term and long-term effects. By the tenth year， GDP and SDI contributed 10.61% and 27.25% to TMR changes， respectively. The model predicted that the mortality rate in Shanghai would be 9.17 per thousand by 2030.ConclusionLong-term economic growth can effectively promote a decline in population mortality. However， as the economy develops vigorously， the adverse effects of declining birth rates and population aging on population health during the era of high-level population development should not be ignored.

Accuracy and fatigue life are important factors restricting the development of domestic robot reducers. In order to improve the efficiency of fatigue life test, it is very important to select appropriate load torque for accelerated life test. In this study, according to the real working condition of a certain robot reducer on the industrial robot, the maximum load torque of the robot reducer without failure is obtained through calculation and simulation, and the accelerated life test is completed on the basis of this. Firstly, the calculation model is built by using SolidWorks software, the maximum static torque is calculated and the appropriate load mass is preliminarily selected. Then the Adams software is used to simulate the pendulum of fatigue test load. According to the maximum static torque and the maximum dynamic torque, the load quality and rotation acceleration and deceleration time are calculated. An orthogonal experiment is designed to combine the two to obtain the load mass and rotation acceleration and deceleration time that can complete the accelerated fatigue test with the highest efficiency. Besides, the correctness of simulation calculation is verified by experiments. The results show that the load static torque has a great influence on the test time, and the test time of the robot reducer is significantly shortened after selecting the appropriate load mass, the rotation acceleration and the deceleration time, which improves the test efficiency of robot reducers. It provides a theoretical basis for the accelerated life test of robot reducers.

Abstract Background A significant proportion of patients with epilepsy have an unknown etiology and lack effective targeted therapeutic drugs. Patent Foramen Ovale (PFO) induces hypoxia and microembolism, leading to cerebral neurological dysfunction and increased epilepsy risk. This study aims to assess the efficacy and safety of PFO closure for relieving epileptic seizures in patients with refractory epilepsy associated with PFO. Methods/design Recruitment takes place at the West China Hospital of Sichuan University, China, for an open-label, randomized controlled clinical trial. The trial will include 110 patients with refractory epilepsy and PFO. Disease diagnoses will conform to the diagnostic criteria of the International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE) for refractory epilepsy and the American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) for PFO. Refractory epilepsy and high-grade right-to-left shunt (RLS) of the PFO will be further diagnosed using 24-hour video electroencephalogram and transthoracic echocardiography with contrast injection, respectively. Eligible participants require a secondary or higher volume of RLS. Trial registration Chinese Clinical Trial Registry (ChiCTR2200065681). Registered on November 11, 2022.

Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is closely related to the occurrence and progress of Parkinson's disease (PD), in which neurotoxicity caused by hyperglycemia and cerebral insulin resistance may play important roles, and the specific mechanism is not certain. Chronic hyperglycemia may lead to the injury of substantia nigra dopaminergic neuron by promoting oxidative stress, neuroinflammation, the formation of advanced glycation end products and endogenous neurotoxin. Moreover, insulin resistance may be involved in several pathways. This article mainly reviews the mechanism of T2DM increasing the risk of PD and provides guidance for the prevention and treatment of PD in patients with T2DM.

Rapid advances in nanomedicine have enabled potential applications in cancer therapy. The enhanced permeability and retention (EPR) effect is the primary rationale for the passive targeting of nanoparticles in oncology. However, growing evidence indicates that the accumulation of nanomaterials via the EPR effect could be more efficient. Inspired by our clinical observation of the Gap Junction connecpion between folliculostellate cells and pituitary adenoma cells, we designed a novel drug delivery system that targets tumours by coating folliculostellate cell (FS) membranes onto PLGA nanoparticles (NPs). The resulting FSNPs, inheriting membrane proteins from the folliculostellate cell membrane, significantly enhanced the EPR effect compared to nanoparticles without cancer cell membranes. We further demonstrated that mitotane encapsulation improved the therapeutic efficacy of mitotane in both heterotopic and orthotopic pituitary adenoma models. Owing to its significant efficacy, our FS cell membrane-coated nanoplatforms has the potential to be translated into clinical applications for the treatment of invasive pituitary adenoma.

Background. Glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists (GLP-1 RAs) are an intriguing class of antihyperglycemic drugs for type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Such drugs not only play a primary role in regulating blood glucose levels but also exhibit additional pleiotropic effects, including potential impacts on bone metabolism and fracture risk. However, the mechanism of such drugs is unclear. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of GLP-1 RAs on bone metabolism in T2DM. Methods. From database inception to May 1, 2023, the searches were conducted on multiple databases such as Web of Science, Embase, PubMed, CNKI, the Cochrane Library, Wanfang, and VIP. We systematically collected all randomized controlled trials of bone metabolism in patients with T2DM treated with GLP-1 RAs. The quality evaluation was performed according to the Cochrane Handbook for Systematic Reviews of Interventions. Data extraction was analyzed using Review Manager 5.4 software, and funnel plots were drawn to evaluate publication bias. Results. Twenty-six randomized controlled trials that met the inclusion criteria were included, involving a total of 2268 participants. In this study, compared to other antidiabetic drugs or placebo, GLP-1 RAs were found to significantly increase serum calcium (mean difference (MD) = 0.05, 95% confidence interval (CI) (0.01, 0.09), P=0.002], bone alkaline phosphatase [standardized MD (SMD) = 0.76, 95% CI (0.29, 1.24), and P=0.001), and osteocalcin (SMD = 2.04, 95% CI (0.99, 3.08), and P=0.0001) in T2DM. Specifically, liraglutide increased procollagen type 1 N-terminal propeptide (SMD = 0.45, 95% CI (0.01, 0.89), and P=0.04). GLP-1 RAs were also associated with a reduction in cross-linked C-terminal telopeptides of type I collagen (SMD = −0.36, 95% CI (−0.70, −0.03), and P=0.03). COVID-19 has produced significant fluctuations and impacts on the Chinese stock market, and the sentiment analysis of stock reviews is important for the study of economic recovery. Owing to the shortage of well-annotated Chinese stock reviews, and the more emotional complexity and obscurity of Chinese stock review text, this paper proposes an innovative Chinese stock review sentiment analysis model BERT-BiLSTM-Attention, which encodes the stock review text by BERT to enhance the semantic feature representation of the text and the ability to understand the context, BiLSTM is then utilized to enhance the contextual information of the overall context of the review as well as the model’s comprehension of the text sequences, and then Attention mechanism is utilized to obtain important textual information and get the most effective information quickly. Experiments show that the model is effective in sentiment analysis of Chinese stock reviews, with an accuracy of 93.98%. It can be proved that the proposed model well enhances the performance of stock review text classification, and has a strong generalization ability, which can be used for sentiment analysis in many fields.

Childhood is a critical stage for the development of perceptual and motor abilities, and strengthening the training of children with incomplete mental development at this stage will affect the development of motor skills during their growth. In this paper, we take VR technology as a starting point to build a perceptual model and introduce a convolutional sparse representation algorithm. First, a sparse representation with few non-zero elements is found to optimize a function consisting of a data fidelity term and a sparse induced penalty function. Then, the sum of the convolution of the filter and the convolution sparse feature map, i.e., the convolution operation, is computed to generate the translation invariants. Then the convolutional sparse coding method is introduced to the traditional unsupervised problem by calculating the minimization objective function and solving it in an iterative manner alternatively. Finally, the constituents of the signal are analyzed and the discrete equivalence of the convolution is derived based on the Fourier transform to derive the intervening variables. The experimental results showed that the mean value of the post-test of motor ability compared with the pre-test increased by 4.6 through an eight-week VR sports game training intervention study test on different children with incomplete mental development. Therefore, it is of great theoretical and practical significance to understand the characteristics of perceptual and motor abilities of children with incomplete intellectual development and to develop corresponding programs for VR sports game training according to their characteristics.

ABSTRACTThis study aimed to observe the expression of insulin-signaling molecules in different organs of mice with insulin resistance (IR). Firstly, mice were fed a high-fat and high-sugar diet (HF group) to establish an IR model, and the controls (NF group) were fed with a normal diet. Next, the weight, fasting blood glucose (FBG), serum insulin and insulin tolerance were detected. Pathological changes of liver tissues were observed by H&E staining. The expressions of INSR, IRS-1 and IRS-2 in the liver, skeletal muscle and ovary were measured by qRT-PCR and western blotting. As a result, compared with the NF group, the HF group mice had increased weight, FBG, insulin and IR index after 6-week of feeding as well as a worse performance in the insulin tolerance test and H&E staining showed fatty liver-like changes after 12-week of feeding, exhibited lower expression of INSR, IRS-1 and IRS-2 in the liver of mice at 6 and 12 weeks. The expression of INSR and IRS-1 in skeletal muscle tissues exhibited the same trend, while those in ovary organs showed the opposite trend. These results suggested that the insulin signaling alters in the liver, skeletal muscle and ovary organs with the progress of IR.

Objective To explore the related risk factors of pancreatic portal hypertension(PPH) and then establish a risk prediction model. Methods The clinical data of 185 patients with pancreatic diseases treated in the First Affiliated Hospital of Army Medical University from January 2004 to January 2022 were collected and analyzed retrospectively. They were divided into study group(n=75) and control group(n=110) according to the occurrence of portal hypertension. The risk factors of PPH were screened by univariate, correlation and multivariate analysis. Based on these variables, a risk prediction model was established by Nomogram. Results In variable screening, the results showed that smoking, history of diabetes and causes were risk factors for PPH(OR=5.008, 3.913, 3.690), and red blood cell count was a protective factor(OR=0.362). A nomogram model of PPH was constructed based on the results of variable screening. The area under the prediction curve of the model was 0.789, and the calibration curve had a good degree of fit, indicating that the model has a good prediction effect. Decision curve analysis showed that a better net gain value was obtained when the risk threshold is between 15% and 80%, and the model had high clinical applicability. Conclusion Our nomogram risk prediction model can effectively identify the high risk factors of PPH and early intervention is of great significance for disease prevention.

The traditional monitoring methods for coal mine roadway deformation have problems such as incomplete data collection, non intuitive data format, poor precision, and inability to achieve continuous monitoring of the entire roadway deformation. In order to solve the above problems, a deformation monitoring method for coal mine roadway based on 3D laser scanning is proposed. Firstly, the method uses 3D laser scanning technology to obtain real 3D point cloud data of coal mine roadways. Secondly, the deep learning model VoxelNet is used to detect and denoise 3D laser scanning data, converting unordered point cloud data into high-dimensional feature data. The Alphashape algorithm is used to fit the discrete points of the extracted roadway cross-section. The multi-dimensional difference calculation based on the difference method is used to obtain specific data of roadway deformation, achieving full coverage of roadway deformation monitoring in the mining area. The 3D laser scanning technology is applied to deformation monitoring of the 30507 working face in Tashan Coal Mine. The cross-sectional analysis and 3D overall analysis are conducted on the 3D point cloud data of the roadway. The analysis results indicate that the main deformation in the area can be directly observed through the relative deviation of the section contour of the second stage roadway. If the upper contour deviates inward, the roof will collapse. If the lower contour deviates outward, the floor will bulge. As the distance between the measuring point and the working face gets closer, the color of the attached color model leans towards red and blue. The darker the color, the greater the deformation of the roadway.

ObjectiveTo investigate the characteristics of gender difference and the trend of the mortality rate of senile dementia in registered population in Shanghai from year 2002 to 2018， and to provide the basis for formulating relative intervention measures before and after senile dementia from an public-health view.MethodsBased on the collected data of death registration， focused on the senile dementia disease codes F03，G30.0，G30.1，G30.8，G30.9 according to The International Classification of Diseases 10th revision （ICD-10）. We analyzed the characteristics of gender difference in the mortality rate of senile dementia in registered population in Shanghai from year 2002 to 2018. According to ASR， we calculated the standardized mortality rate of senile dementia， and used the chi-square test to compare the difference between the gender mortality rates. The trend and the turning point of the mortality rate of senile dementia were determined by linear regression analysis by Join-point.ResultsThe crude mortality rate of senile dementia in the registered population in Shanghai from year 2002 to 2018 was 5.46/105， 3.50/105 in males and 7.43/105 in females. The standardized mortality rate of senile dementia was 2.61/105， 1.67/105 in males and 3.56/105 in females. Massive developed discontinuities are the salient geological features of unconventional oil and gas reservoirs, and the hydraulic fractures’ capabilities of crossing the discontinuities concern the stimulation effects of hydraulic fracturing. To study the development of the fracture process zone (FPZ) when the hydraulic fracture orthogonally propagates through a discontinuity, the self-designed visual fracturing equipment was adopted to carry out hydraulic fracturing tests on sandstone plates with a prefabricated unbounded friction interface. Based on the digital image correlation method, the displacement and strain characteristics during the hydraulic fracture propagation across the orthogonal interface were monitored in real time. The test results show that the FPZ has developed across the interface before the hydraulic fracture extends across the interface. Whether the fracture can propagate through the interface is predetermined at the initial developmental stage of the FPZ and is not affected by the stress-softening process in the FPZ. Based on the Renshaw-Pollard criterion, a criterion considering the FPZ boundary was established for estimating the fracture propagation across the friction interface, and it was verified by test data and existing results. In comparison, the improved criterion considers a more accurate application scope of elastic fracture mechanics at the fracture front. The aspect ratio of the FPZ has a significant effect on the improved criterion, and the lower limit of friction coefficient required for the fracture propagation orthogonally across the interface declines as the aspect ratio of the FPZ rises under the same conditions.

Objective To construct and validate a prognosis prediction model and a risk stratification tool for more precise and individualized evaluation of prognosis for patients following resection of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC), and provide real-world evidence for informing optimal decision-making about adjuvant therapy. Methods The comprehensive clinical data and follow-up data were collected from consecutive patients with ESCC in the Anyang Cancer Hospital (Anyang center) from May 31, 2011 to July 31, 2018, and in the Cancer Hospital of Shantou University Medical College (Shantou center) from August 1, 2009 to December 31, 2018. Patients from the Anyang center formed the training cohort, and a two-phase selection based on backward stepwise multivariable Cox proportional hazard regression and minimization of AIC was used to construct prediction model for overall survival (OS). Bootstrap with 1 000 resamples was used for internal validation, and cohort from the Shantou center was used for external validation. Furthermore, a risk stratification tool was constructed according to the tertiles of the total points derived from nomogram in the training cohort. Results A total of 4 171 eligible patients were included in the training cohort, and 1 895 patients were included in the validation cohort. The final model incorporated nine variables: age, sex, primary tumor location, T stage, N stage, number of lymph nodes harvested, tumor size, adjuvant treatment, and preoperative hemoglobin level. A significant interaction was observed between N stage and adjuvant treatment (P < 0.001), which means that N+ stage patients were likely to benefit from addition of adjuvant therapy as opposed to surgery alone, but adjuvant therapy did not improve OS for N0 stage patients. The C-index of the model was 0.728 (95% CI: 0.713-0.742) in the training cohort, 0.722 (95% CI: 0.711-0.739) after bootstrapping, and 0.679 (95% CI: 0.662-0.697) in the external validation cohort. Calibration plots demonstrated favorable agreement between model prediction and actual observation for 1-, 3- and 5-year OS. In both training and validation cohorts, this model outperformed the seventh edition of the AJCC TNM (tumor, lymph node, and metastasis) staging system in terms of the accuracy of prognostic prediction (P < 0.05). Moreover, within each TNM staging group, this model achieved ideal risk stratification. Conclusions The prediction model constructed in this study may provide individualized survival prediction for patients with resected ESCC in China. This study also demonstrated that the N stage may be a fundamental determinant in planning postoperative adjuvant therapy for ESCC patients.

Objective To study the clinical characteristics of dental trauma and provide data support for clinical work and health education, the clinical data of patients in the Guangzhou area were reviewed. Methods The clinical data of patients attending the general Emergency Department of Stomatological Hospital of Southern Medical University from January 2017 to January 2022 were analyzed according to gender, age, trauma cause, trauma type, tooth position and trauma duration, and postoperative time of trauma. Results The ratio of males to females was 1.07:1, and the ratio of patients aged 10-19 years was 2.76:1. Falls and collisions were the main causes of the trauma. Concussion and uncomplicated crown fracture were the most frequent subcategories of dental trauma. For tooth position, the upper maxillary middle incisors had the highest rate of trauma, followed by the maxillary lateral incisors. January and December were the two months with the highest incidence of trauma, while the rate of dental trauma on weekends was slightly higher than on weekdays, and 77.81% of patients visited within 24 h after the trauma. Conclusion Dental trauma commonly occurs in the adolescent maxillary incisors, and crown fracture and concussion are the main types of injury. The major causes are falls and collisions. The general population should pay more attention to strengthening the protection of teeth during outdoor activities and learn emergency dental treatment methods. At the same time, dentists should be more skilled in the treatment of dental trauma, and uncommon types of dental trauma should be given more attention to avoid poor outcomes.

Objectives: This study assessed the efficacy, safety, pharmacokinetics (PK), and immunogenicity profiles of a denosumab biosimilar (LY06006) in Chinese postmenopausal osteoporotic women with a high risk of fracture. Methods: In this multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, phase 3 trial, 448 postmenopausal women aged 50–85 years with osteoporosis were enrolled at 49 centers in China and were randomly assigned (3:1) to receive 60 ​mg of the denosumab biosimilar (LY06006) or placebo subcutaneously every 6 months for 1 year. Lumbar spine bone mineral density (BMD) change was the primary endpoint. Results: Of the 448 randomized patients, 409 (LY06006, n ​= ​311; placebo, n ​= ​98) completed the study. All 448 (100.0%) subjects were included in the intent-to-treat (ITT) trial, 427 (95.3%) were included in the full analysis set (FAS), 408 (91.1%) were included in the per protocol set (PPS), 446 (99.6%) were included in the safety set (SS), and 336 (75.0%) were included in the pharmacokinetics concentration set (PKCs). For the primary endpoint, a 4.71% (95% CI, 3.81%, 5.60%) treatment difference in percent change in lumbar spine BMD from baseline to month 12 was observed in the LY06006 group compared with the placebo group (P ​

The Internet of Things (IoT) is an important component of the new digital infrastructure and is deeply integrated with the fifth-generation mobile communication (5G), big data, cloud computing, artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, and digital twin. It is profoundly changing the technology system and promoting the digital economy, ushering in a new stage of smart IoT system in which everything is connected. This paper reviews the development status of IoT in China, proposes the concept of smart IoT system (IoT 2.0), and expounds on the implications, architecture, technical pedigree, and key enabling technologies. Practical cases of smart IoT system are explored considering the application scenarios of intelligent manufacturing, smart agriculture, smart grid, smart healthcare, intelligent transportation, and intelligent environmental protection, demonstrating the application values of the smart IoT system. Furthermore, we suggest that a technology integration innovation project that integrates IoT, AI, 5G, and new application field technologies should be implemented; focus should be placed on the research, development, and industrialization of intelligent products such as smart IoT systems / cloud native platforms / low-code (no-code) application development environments and toolsets, high-end sensors for smart IoT systems, and IoT chips / special components; and application demonstration of cloud-edge-end collaborative, autonomous controllable, safe, and credible smart IoT systems should be conducted.

Rechargeable aqueous zinc-ion batteries (ZIBs) have been widely studied because of its excellent performance, low price and environment-friendly, and the structure design of ZIBs cathode with high capacity and long cycle life have become the focus. PAN solution containing Mn(NO3)2·xH2O was used as a core layer and PAN solution as skin layer by coaxial electrospinning. Due to the concentration gradient diffusion, Mn(NO3)2·xH2O diffused to the cortex. And MCNFs with sebaceous glandular structure on the surface was obtained by carbonization. MnO2 was electrodeposited on its surface, and MnO2@MCNFs cathode with excellent affinity with electrolytes were prepared. The results show that the sebaceous gland structure not only increases the specific surface area of cathode, but also constructs the riveting effect between MCNFs and α-MnO2, which enhances the interface bonding between the substrate and the active material, reduces the shedding of α-MnO2, reduces the interface resistance, and shortens the electron conduction and ion diffusion path. The test shows that the specific capacity of the first cycle of 3% MnO2@MCNFs can reach about 581.16 mAh/g under the current density of 100 mA/g, and the specific capacity of 120 mAh/g can be maintained after 1000 cycles under the high current density of 1 A/g, and the coulomb efficiency is around 99%.

Objective To evaluate the safety and efficacy of cold snare polypectomy (CSP) and hot snare polypectomy (HSP) in the treatment of small colorectal polyps. Methods The clinical data of 3 750 patients who underwent endoscopic polypectomy for small colorectal polyps in our hospital from January 1, 2020 to August 31, 2021 were collected and analyzed retrospectively. There were 1 796 cases assigned into CSP group and 1 954 cases into HSP group. Their general data, number and utilization rate of titanium clips, complete resection rate, specimen recovery rate, incidence of delayed bleeding, perforation rate and incidence of abdominal discomfort were analyzed and compared between the 2 groups. Results There were no significant differences in the general data (age, gender, BMI, and number, size, location, morphology and pathological type of polyps) and in proportions of comorbidities (hypertension and diabetes) between the 2 groups (P>0.05). The utilization rate and average number of clips used were significantly lower in the CSP group than the HSP group (11.19% vs 19.55%, P < 0.001; 0.16±0.49 vs 0.27±0.63, P < 0.001). No statistical difference was found in the complete resection rate between the 2 groups (93.99% vs 95.04%, P=0.158). The CSP group had higher specimen recovery rate (99.55% vs 98.26%, P < 0.001), lower incidence of delayed bleeding (0.06% vs 0.46%, P=0.037) and incidence of abdominal discomfort (4.18% vs 9.31%, P < 0.001) when compared with the HSP group. In terms of perforation, no occurrence was observed in the CSP group and 1 case (0.05%) in the HSP group, though no statistical difference (P=0.521). Conclusion When compared with HSP, CSP has advantages of lower utilization rate and less number of titanium clips, higher specimen recovery rate, and lower incidence of complications in the treatment of small colorectal polyps. It is a safe and effective treatment, and worthy of clinical application.

Renal fibrosis is a common characteristic and the final pathological mechanism of chronic kidney disease (CKD). Although CKD remains incurable, inhibition of renal fibrosis is beneficial to inhibit the CKD process. Relaxin alleviates renal fibrosis in some experimental models, but its mechanism remains unclear. In the following, we studied the regulatory effect of relaxin on epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) after unilateral ureteral obstruction (UUO). Our results demonstrate that relaxin could downregulate Wnt/β-catenin signaling and decrease EMT, thus protecting against loss of transporters in tubular epithelial cells (TECs) and abrogate renal interstitial fibrosis following UUO. We confirmed that relaxin can downregulate Wnt/β-catenin signaling and decrease EMT in NRK52E, thus abrogating G2 cell cycle arrest in vitro experiments. Therefore, a novel mechanism by which relaxin is antifibrotic is that relaxin regulates the EMT program of TECs via Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway. The inhibition of EMT contributes to protecting the functional capabilities of TECs and promoting the regeneration of TECs.

The research on the fatigue of front-line employees in coal mines is conducive to the realization of coal mine safety production and is of great significance to reduce unsafe accidents. In order to explore the effect of different shift systems on the fatigue of front-line employees in coal mines, a fatigue assessment model based on EEG signals was constructed by tracking investigation and EEG signal acquisition of 25 employees in different shift systems in Hongliulin Coal Mine. The effects of “three eight-hour shifts” and “four six-hour shifts” on the fatigue of front-line employees in coal mines are analyzed from the characteristics of fatigue. The results show that the shift system based on the “three eight-hour shifts” has a more serious impact on the fatigue of front-line employees. The workload of employees under the “four six-hour shifts” shift system is relatively small, which is more conducive to fatigue recovery and reduces the probability of unsafe accidents. It is suggested that on the premise of reasonable down-hole time required by law, combined with the current situation of coal mine capacity and cost consumption,reasonably formulate the shift system and gradually implement the “four six-hour shifts” shift system. It can not only ensure the physical and mental health of front-line employees, but also match the means of production and productivity to achieve the purpose of coal mine safety production.

Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is a highly vascularized malignant brain tumor. Our previous study showed that prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) promotes angiogenesis of GBM. However, the specific mechanism underlying GBM-induced PSMA upregulation remains unclear. In this study, we demonstrate that the GBM-secreted cytokine phosphoprotein 1 (SPP1) can regulate the expression of PSMA in human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs). Our mechanistic study further reveals that SPP1 regulates the expression of PSMA through the transcription factor HIF1α. Moreover, SPP1 promotes HUVEC migration and tube formation. In addition, HIF1α knockdown reduces the expression of PSMA in HUVECs and blocks the ability of SPP1 to promote HUVEC migration and tube formation. We further confirm that SPP1 is abundantly expressed in GBM, is associated with poor prognosis, and has high clinical diagnostic value with considerable sensitivity and specificity. Collectively, our findings identify that the GBM-secreted cytokine SPP1 upregulates PSMA expression in endothelial cells via the transcription factor HIF1α, providing insight into the angiogenic process and promising candidates for targeted GBM therapy.

In high-performance computing,the accumulation of rounding error in the process of solving the large-scale,long time and ill-conditioned problem will lead to invalidated results.These results are useful for the developers to debug programs and check their correctness.Therefore,the reproducibility of the numerical results of the algorithm becomes very important.Based on the OpenBLAS’s framework,combining with Demmel’s reproducible method in ReproBLAS and multilayer block technology proposed by Castaldo,this paper designs a reproducible algorithm of multithreaded DGEMV for Phytium processor with rounding error analysis and error free transformation.Numerical experiments show that the output of the algorithm is the same as that of the ReproBLAS,which verifies the reproducibility.Our algorithm is up to 2x faster than that in ReproBLAS.Compared with the DGEMV function of OzBLAS proposed by Mukunoki,our algorithm runs at least 20x faster than that in OzBLAS with single thread,and 9x faster than that in OzBLAS with multi-threads.Theoretical analysis and numerical experiments illustrate that improved algorithm is accurate,validated and efficiency.

In this study, electron beam irradiation technology was used to degrade torasemide in an aqueous solution. By investigating the degradation effect, its influencing factors, and degradation products, the radiation degradation characteristics and possible degradation pathways of torasemide were systematically discussed. The study demonstrated that torasemide can be effectively degraded via electron beam irradiation. The experimental results showed that the active •OH particles played a dominant role in the degradation process. The initial torasemide concentration, absorbed dose, pH of the solution, amount of H2O2 and inorganic anions (CO32-,NO2-, SO32-, SO42-) and other environmental factors influence the irradiation effect of torasemide. A higher degradation efficiency was obtained with a lower initial torasemide concentration, higher absorbed dose, and lower pH. The degradation of torasemide was promoted in the presence of SO42- and low concentrations of H2O2, while it was inhibited in the presence of CO32-,NO2-, and SO32-and high concentrations of H2O2. Finally, the degradation products were detected by high performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole time of flight mass spectrometer (HPLC-QTOF), and the degradation pathways were deduced.

Density peaks clustering (DPC) algorithm is a clustering algorithm based on density. The algorithm is simple in principle and efficient in operation, and can find any non-spherical class clusters. However, there are some defects in the algorithm. Firstly, the measurement criteria defined by the local density are not uniform and there are great differences in the clustering results. Secondly, the allocation strategy is prone to allocation errors, that is once a sample is incorrectly allocated, a series of subsequent samples will be incorrectly allocated too. In order to solve these problems, this paper proposes a weighted K-nearest neighbors and multi-cluster merge density peaks clustering (WKMM-DPC) algorithm. Combined with the idea of weighted K-nearest neighbors, the local density of the sample is redefined by introducing the weight coefficient of the sample, which makes the local density more dependent on the position of the sample in the K-nearest neighbors, and unifies the measurement criteria of density definition. The similarity between clusters is defined, and the clusters are merged according to the metric to avoid the joint error in the allocation of remaining samples. Experiments on artificial and UCI datasets show that the clustering performance of the proposed algorithm is better than that of FKNN-DPC, DPCSA, FNDPC, DPC and DBSCAN algorithms.

Osteoimmunology has gained momentum in recent years, focusing on the crosstalk between the skeleton and the immune system. Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are nanoscale vesicles that are potential candidates for cell-free tissue regeneration strategies. They may be used for repairing damaged tissues and regulating the body's immune system and bone-related metabolic activities. Because of the ability of EVs to deliver bioactive signals and mediate intercellular communication, they can decipher the complex mechanisms of interaction within the “osteoimmune system” at the molecular level. To address the lack of targeting ability caused by vesicle heterogeneity in the clinical applications of EVs, these nanoscopical entities may be modified by bioengineering techniques to optimize the interaction between bone repair and immunomodulation for improving treatment efficacy, specificity and safety. In the present review, the endogenous properties that make EVs natural delivery agents are outlined. Properties that may be improved by bioengineering are highlighted. The therapeutic applications of EVs in the rehabilitation of bone defects are discussed. The opportunities and challenges that need to be addressed for translating this field of research into clinical practice are brought into perspectives.
