Günümüzde küresel bir olgu olarak kabul edilen coğrafi işaretler, bir ürünün nereli olduğunu gösteren yer adı olarak ifade edilebilir. Yöresel ürün olarak adlandırılan coğrafi işaretle vasıflandırılan ürünler, kaliteli, bilinirliğe sahip, yöresine ve bölgesine değer katan niteliğe sahip olmalarından dolayı bölgesel kalkınma için önemli birer kaldıraçlardır. Hem geçmişi günümüze taşıma yeteneğine sahip hem de ekonomik kalkınmaya sağladığı katkılardan dolayı coğrafi işarete sahip olan ürünlerin ön plana çıkışı, konunun önemini arttırmaktadır. Rekabetin gittikçe yoğunlaştığı bir o kadar da zorlaştığı çağımızda, özellikle ülkemizde sayısız yöresel ürünler olmasına karşın coğrafi işarete sahip ürünlerin yeterince olmayışı, bu çalışmanın ana amacının temel çıkış noktasıdır. Tez çalışmasının örneklem grubunu, coğrafi işaret başvurusu veya tescil işlemleri yapan kurum/kuruluş çalışanları ve bu kurum/kuruluşlara destek veren alanında uzman kişiler oluşturmaktadır. Örneklem grubunun belirlenmesinde amaçlı örnekleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Belirlenen kritik faktörlerin değerlendirilmesinde, ikili karşılaştırma esasına dayalı soru formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen verilerin analizinde Excel programı yardımıyla, çok kriterli karar verme tekniklerinden DEMATEL yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda, belirlenen kriterlerin her birisinin arasındaki ilişki, birbirleri üzerindeki etkilerinin önemi yönünden öncelik sıralamasına göre düzenlenmiştir. Coğrafi işaret almadaki nedenler için belirlenen beş kriter arasında değerlendirme sonucunda kritik başarı faktörüne sahip kriter 'turizme katkıda bulunma', coğrafi işaret almada karşılaşılan zorluklar için belirlenen altı kriter arasında kritik başarı faktörüne sahip kriter 'bilgi eksikliği' kriteri olarak saptanmıştır. Geographical indications, which are accepted as a global phenomenon today, can be expressed as a place name showing where a product is from. Products that are qualified with geographical indications, called local products, are important levers for regional development, as they are of high quality, well-known, and add value to their region and region. The prominence of products that have the ability to carry the past to the present and the geographical indication due to their contribution to economic development increases the importance of the subject. The main starting point of this study is the fact that there are not enough products with geographical indications, although there are numerous local products, especially in our country, in our age when the competition is getting more and more intense. The sample group of the thesis study consists of the employees of the institution/organization that makes geographical indication application or registration and the experts in the field who support these institutions/organizations. Purposive sampling method was used to determine the sample group. In the evaluation of the determined critical factors, a question form based on pairwise comparison was used. In the analysis of the data obtained in the research, the DEMATEL method, one of the multiple decision making techniques, was used with the help of the Excel program. As a result of the analysis, the relationship between each of the determined criteria was arranged according to the priority order in terms of the importance of their effects on each other. As a result of the evaluation among the five criteria determined for the reasons that lead to obtaining geographical indications, the criterion with a critical success factor was determined as 'contributing to tourism', and the criterion with a critical success factor among the six criteria determined for the difficulties in obtaining geographical indications was the criterion of 'lack of information'.

In this article, the short story Death and Compass by Jorge Luis Borges is analyzed based on Carl G. Jung’s theory “The Archetypes and the Collective Unconscious” and French author Gilbert Durand’s theory “The Anthropological Structures of the Imaginary.” In the beginning, a brief introduction to the short story was given along with how it was translated to Turkish audience. Secondly, upon laying the grounds of both theories, the protagonist Erik Lönnrot is associated with the “Diurnal Order” in Durand’s theory. Diurnal features such as “polemical antithesis”, “autistic withdrawal”, “schizomorphic structure”, and “geometrism” (terms, which were cited by him from several psychiatrists’ works) are observed in the protagonist Erik Lönnrot. After analyzing the character, in a similarly way, the mansion in the story was also studied based on the same order since that space also embraces geometry, symmetry, and shares a continuum with linear timeline. The objects in and outside of the mansion have also been examined with regards to the symbolic meanings as mentioned by the French theoretician so that the isotopes of notions time and death could be determined in that particular space. The statues of mythological figures such as Diana, Hermes, and Janus in that mansion were also a topic of research to understand the relation between the space and characters. In the last section of the study, Jung’s “Self” archetype, its symbolic representations, and the corresponding elements in the story have been explored. Having done his research on Borges’ short story based on psychatric and imaginary theories, the author of this article has come up with the idea that limitless findings could be discovered from Borges’ short stories by other authors who base their research on these theories, and in the meantime, he expects that his research contributes to the research field and to the ones that are connected to it., Bu çalışmada Arjantinli yazar Jorge Luis Borges'in Ölüm ve Pusula öyküsü, Carl G. Jung'un "Kolektif Bilinçdışının Arketipleri" teorisi ve Fransız kuramcı Gilbert Durand'ın "İmgelem Kuramı" üzerinden incelenmiştir. İlk başta öyküye dair kısa bir özete ve dilimize kazandırılışına dair bilgilere yer verilmiştir. İkinci olarak yukarıdaki iki kuramdan biri olan Durand'ın İmgelem Kuramında sözü geçen "Gündüz rejimi" ile öykünün başkahramanı Erik Lönnrot arasında bağlantılar kurulmuştur. Ardından Gündüz rejiminin özellikleri arasında bulunan ve Durand’ın birtakım psikiyatristlerin çalışmalarından kaynak göstermiş olduğu "polemik karşı sav", "otistik gerileme", "şizomorf yapı" ve "geometrizm" gibi unsurlar detektif Lönnrot'ta gözlemlenmiştir. Karakter incelemesinden sonra öyküdeki malikhane uzamı da bulundurduğu geometri, simetri, doğrusal zaman gibi özellikleriyle aynı rejim üzerinden incelenmiştir. Uzamın hem içinde hem çevresinde bulunan çeşitli nesneler de Fransız yazarın kuramında bahsettiği üzere sembolik düzlemde ele alınmış olunup zaman ve ölüm kavramlarının malikhane uzamındaki izdüşümlerinden söz edilmiştir. Malikhanenin içinde bulunan Diana, Hermes ve Janus gibi mitolojik figürlerin heykelleri, uzam ve öyküdeki karakterler arasındaki ilişki üzerinden incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın son aşamasında, Jung'un "Öz" arketipi, bu arketipin ne tür sembollerle temsil edildiği ve aynı arketipin öyküdeki izdüşümünün hangi nesneler aracılığıyla verildiği saptanmıştır. Makalenin yazarı, Borges’in kısa öyküsünün psikiyatri ve imgelem kuramları üzerinden incelemesinin ardından aynı yazarın hem incelenen öyküsünün hem de diğer öykülerinin ilgili kuramlar yoluyla sayısız bulgunun diğer yazarlar tarafından da saptanabileceği fikrini edinmiş olup çalışmasının ilgili alana ve yazarlarına katkı sağlamasını umar.

Design und Methodik - Um die Hypothesen zu testen, wurde ein 2 (Entscheidungskontrolle) x 2 (kognitive Kontrolle) between-subjects design verwendet. Das ausschließliche Anbieten einer Kompensation mit Entscheidungskontrolle hat alle Ausgangsvariablen außer die Attribution von Dienstversagen und die Schwere des Dienstversagens signifikant verbessert. Originalität - Diese Studie untersucht die Out-of-stock Service-Fehler Situation und den Einsatz von kognitiver und Entscheidungskontrolle als Service Recovery-Strategie in der Gastronomie und Gaststättengewerben., Purpose – The following thesis aims to reduce food waste in the food service sector by guiding managers to avoid purchasing excessive amount of food inventory. It proposes service recovery strategies in case of an out-of-stock service failure situation – that is providing a choice to customers over a compensation item (decisional control) and explaining the cause of the service failure as the effort of the company to reduce food waste (cognitive control). The study has measured the impact of cognitive and decisional control on satisfaction with the service, satisfaction with the recovery, revisit intention, switching intention, WOM-Intention, fairness, service failure attributions and service failure severity. Design and methodology – In order to test the hypotheses, a 2 (decisional control) x 2 (cognitive control) between-subjects design was used. Respondents were assigned randomly one of the four scenarios in an out-of-stock service failure situation in a restaurant and then answered the questionnaire. 202 respondents have participated in this study. Findings – Results show that after an out-of-stock service failure situation, offering compensation with decisional control and explaining the cause of the service failure as the effort of the company to reduce food waste (cognitive control) influence customer reactions positively. Offering only compensation with decisional control has significantly improved outcome variables except service failure attributions and service failure severity. Offering only cognitive control has improved outcome variables significantly except revisit intention and switching intention. Offering both cognitive control and decisional control have significantly increased all of the outcome variables. Practical implications – Food service companies do not have to purchase excessive amount of food for the inventory. In case of out-of-stock service failure situation occurs, cognitive and decisional control as a service recovery strategy could be deployed. With this way, service recovery paradoxical satisfaction could also be achieved and the negative effect of the out-of-stock service failure situation will be mitigated significantly. Originality - This study investigates the out-of-stock service failure situation and the use of cognitive and decisional control as service recovery strategy in the food service sector.

ÖzBu çalışmanın amacı, kütüphanelerin, postmodernite ile biçimlenen yeni anlayış ve kültürler çerçevesinde nasıl bir etki alanı içine girdiğini; moder-niteden postmoderniteye geçiş sürecinin neleri değiştirdiğini sorgulamaktır. Postmodernizmin yanında dijimodernizm, metamodernizm, post-postmoder-nizm, hipermodernizm, altermodernizm, kozmodernizm ve otomodernizm gi-bi çeşitli kavramların tartışıldığı, bir diğer deyişle olgu ve kavramların hızla değiştiği dönemlere girdiğimiz bu çağda, kütüphanelerin bu değişimlerden etkilenmemesi olası değildir. Çalışma kapsamında, öncelikle çalışmayı te-mellendirmesi için post modernizm ve ilişkili kavramlara, daha sonra da “bilgi”, “gerçeklik” ve “gerçek ötesi” ile “bilgi okuryazarlığı” ve “medya okur-yazarlığı” kavramlarına yer verilmiş; bu kavramların post modernite ile ne-den, nasıl biçimlendiği irdelenmiştir. Literatür derlemesine dayanan çalış-manın varsayımı kütüphanelerin yalnız gelişen bilgi ve iletişim teknolojileri çerçevesinde değişim içine girmeyip aynı zamanda post modernizmin etkisi ile yeni bir kültür, anlayış ve paradigmalara konu olduğu biçimindedir.

Uluslararası politikanın başat aktörü olarak devlet, dış dünyadan farklı olarak belirgin bir karaktere sahiptir. Geleneksel Türk dış politikası çalışmaları, Türkiye'nin Westfalyan ulus devlet düzeninin bir üyesi olduğunu ve dış dünyaya yönelik bir takım siyaseti ve eylemleri olduğunu öne sürer. Bu tez geleneksel literatürü sorunsallaştıran post-yapısalcı bir dış politika çalışmasıdır. Devletlerin verili olmadığı, Türk ulusal kimliğinin ne homojen ne de istikrarlı olduğu, ve Türk dış politikasının kimlik üreten söylemsel bir pratik olduğu tartışılacaktır. Bu çalışma, Türk dış politikası söylemlerinin ulusal kimliği tekrar tekrar ürettiğini ortaya koymak adına, Gelibolu Harekatı üzerine yıllık Cumhurbaşkanlığı açıklamalarını irdelemektedir. Analiz iki farklı döneme odaklanmaktadır. İncelenen ilk dönem 2001 ve 2007 yıllarını, ikinci dönem ise 2015 ve 2017 yıllarını kapsamaktadır. Çalışma, harekat üzerine yapılan Cumhurbaşkanlığı açıklamalarının her bir dönemde Türk kimliğini oluşturmayı amaçladığını tartışmaktadır. Günümüzde Gelibolu Harekatı ötekinin kaynağıdır. Dolayısıyla, Cumhurbaşkanlığı açıklamalarının söylemsel otoritesi Türk kimliğini oluşturmaktadır. Orthodox foreign policy studies take states as given in international politics. As the principal actor in international politics, the state has a distinct character different from the outside. Orthodox Turkish foreign policy studies postulate that Turkey has been the member of the Westphalian nation state order and it has had a set of policies and actions oriented towards the external world. This thesis is a post-structural foreign policy study that problematizes the orthodox literature. It will be argued that the state is not given, the Turkish national identity is neither homogenous nor stable, and Turkish foreign policy is an identity productive discursive practice. The study scrutinizes the annual presidential statements on Gallipoli Campaign in order to demonstrate the way in which Turkish foreign policy discourses produce and reproduce the national identity. The analysis focuses on two different periods. The first period under the scope is between the years of 2001 and 2007 and the second period is between the years of 2015 and 2017. The study argues that the presidential statements on the battle aim to create the Turkish self in each period. Gallipoli Campaign is the source of the other in the present.
