Abstract The access of large‐scale distributed generation (DG) easily leads to energy imbalance in distribution network. To deal with this issue, this paper proposes an energy optimal schedule method for distribution network considering the participation of source‐load‐storage aggregation groups (SAGs). Firstly, the system model consisting of distribution network layer and SAGs layer is established, and the schedule objectives and constraints of each layer are also given. Secondly, considering the fluctuation on the load side, a forecasting method based on Adaboost integrated convolutional neural networks and bidirectional long‐short term memory is proposed. Then, the improved sparrow search algorithm (ISSA) is proposed by using the tent map and Levy flight on the original sparrow search algorithm. At the same time, by introducing Pareto dominance relation and adaptive grid algorithm, the multi‐objective sparrow search algorithm (MOSSA) is derived. After that, a two‐layer optimization framework (ISSA–MOSSA) is proposed to solve the studied system. The simulation results verify the accuracy of the proposed load forecasting model, the superiority of ISSA as well as MOSSA, and the effectiveness of ISSA–MOSSA in solving the energy optimal schedule problem of the distribution system with the access of DG.

Background: Human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination is a key initiative to promote the WHO global strategy to accelerate the elimination of cervical cancer, and this study aimed to investigate the current status of HPV infection and genotypic characteristics of the population under the impact of age-expansion of nine-valent HPV vaccination policy in China. Methods: The clinical data of 60,685 subjects who were admitted in the Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University and underwent HPV genotyping from January 2017 to October 2022 were retrospectively analyzed. Results: The total number of positive HPV genotyping in the included population was 10,303, with a positivity rate of 17.0 %. With the rapid development of industrialization, the emission of nitrogen oxides (NOx) has become a global environmental issue. Uranium is the primary fuel used in nuclear power generation. However, the production of uranium, typically based on the uranyl nitrate method, usually generates large amounts of nitrogen oxides, particularly NO2, with concentrations in the exhaust gas exceeding 10,000 ppm. High concentrations of nitrogen dioxide are also produced during silver electrolysis processing and the treatment of waste electrolyte solutions. Traditional V-W/TiO2 NH3-SCR catalysts typically exhibit high catalytic activity at temperatures ranging from 300 to 400 °C, under conditions of low NOx concentrations and high gas hourly space velocity. However, their performance is not satisfying when reducing high concentrations of NO2. This study aims to optimize the traditional V-W/TiO2 catalysts to enhance their catalytic activity under conditions of high NO2 concentrations (10,000 ppm) and a wide temperature range (200–400 °C). On the basis of 3 wt% Mo/TiO2, various loadings of V2O5 were selected, and their catalytic activities were tested. Subsequently, the optimal ratios of active component vanadium and additive molybdenum were explored. Simultaneously, doping with WO3 for modification was selected in the V-Mo/TiO2 catalyst, followed by activity testing under the same conditions. The results show that: the NOx conversion rates of all five catalysts increase with temperature at range of 200–400 °C. Excessive loading of MoO3 decreased the catalytic performance, with 5 wt% being the optimal loading. The addition of WO3 significantly enhanced the low-temperature activity of the catalysts. When the loadings of WO3 and MoO3 were both 3 wt%, the catalyst exhibited the best denitrification performance, achieving a NOx conversion rate of 98.8% at 250 °C. This catalyst demonstrates excellent catalytic activity in reducing very high concentration (10,000 ppm) NO2, at a wider temperature range, expanding the temperature range by 50% compared to conventional SCR catalysts. Characterization techniques including BET, XRD, XPS, H2-TPR, and NH3-TPD were employed to further study the evolution of the catalyst, and the promotional mechanisms are explored. The results revealed that the proportion of chemisorbed oxygen (Oα) increased in the WO3-modified catalyst, exhibiting lower V reduction temperatures, which are favorable for low-temperature denitrification activity. NH3-TPD experiments showed that compared to MoOx species, surface WOx species could provide more acidic sites, resulting in stronger surface acidity of the catalyst.

Thermal storage tanks are the most widely used devices for thermodynamic storage. Their stratification performance is a key factor in determining their effectiveness. In this study, a structure was proposed to improve the thermal stratification of an elbow-type thermal storage tank. An experimental study was conducted on its exothermic properties for applications in hot water storage tanks. An experimental analysis was performed to investigate the exothermic properties of the proposed structure, and the results were compared with those obtained from simulations using CFD (ANSYS 19.1) software. To investigate the effect of thermal stratification on the water inlet structure, the Richardson number, hot water output rate, and MIX number of the elbow inlet structure were compared with those of the water distributor inlet structure. The results show that the MIX numbers corresponding to the inlet structures of the two types of tanks, the elbow and water distributor types, are not very different. These values were almost identical to the Richardson numbers. Under the same working conditions, the hot water output rate was 84.90% for the elbow inlet structure and 76.39% for the water distributor inlet structure. In conclusion, elbow-type water inlet structures are easy to install, and the manufacturing process is simplified.

The association between post-traumatic growth (PTG) and cognitive empathy is well documented; however, few studies have tested the causal pathways explaining this association in school bullying victims’ later recovery and growth in the long term. This study used a longitudinal design to examine the reciprocal relations between cognitive empathy and post-traumatic growth (PTG) in school bullying victims. We screened 725 adolescents who had experienced school bullying as our final subjects out of the 2173 adolescents we surveyed over three periods (November 2019, 2020, and 2021). Controlling for gender, cross-lagged analysis revealed that both cognitive empathy at T1 and T2 predicted adolescents’ later PTG at T2 (γ = 0.096, p < 0.05) and T3 (γ = 0.085, p < 0.05), respectively, but the predictive effect across time points from PTG to cognitive empathy was not significant. The results delineated a specific directionality in the relation between cognitive empathy and PTG and suggested an important role of cognitive empathy in fostering school bullying victims’ later recovery and growth. These findings contribute to ongoing research into ways researchers and educators may help and support school bullying victims.

Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) is a major human pathogen and can cause a wide range of diseases, including pneumonia, osteomyelitis, skin and soft tissue infections (SSTIs), endocarditis, mastitis, bacteremia, and so forth. Rats have been widely used in the field of infectious diseases due to their unique advantages, and the models of S. aureus infections have played a pivotal role in elucidating their pathogenic mechanisms and the effectiveness of therapeutic agents. This review outlined the current application of rat models in S. aureus infections and future prospects for rat models in infectious diseases caused by S. aureus.

The Supreme Deity Talismans of XuHuo, as the mysterious visual artforms in Daoism, are significant ritual images created by Daoists during the Song and Yuan dynasties. This article explores the creation process of the SDTXH by applying psychoanalytic theory to analyze the literature related to their drawings in Daozang. The ritualistic concentration involved in writing the SDTXH resembles Jung’s systematic exercises aimed at eliminating critical attention, thus creating a vacuum in conscious. This vacuum serves as the key premise for active imagination, through which the unconscious is integrated into the conscious. Fuqiao, in fact, is a symbol dynamically depicting the process of the unconscious being inseminated by the conscious through immersion within it. This integration, or unity, represents the embodiment of concepts such as “mandala”, Guizhong, and Taiji. The SDTXH originate from Guizhong and essentially serve as archetypal images, similar to the sandplay images constructed by the clients. As the language of the unconscious, the SDTXH effectively bridge the conscious and unconscious, enabling the unconscious content, namely the archetype, to be symbolically expressed and bringing order to the creator through active imagination. The emergence of the SDTXH signifies the practitioner’s progress towards achieving psychic wholeness.

Ground vibration induced by high dam flood discharge has been reported to cause severe structure safety threats and environmental issues. In this paper, an evaluation and reduction approach for ground vibration using systematic and comprehensive studies is proposed. Based on the results of hydraulic physical model tests, the hydrodynamic excitation on the stilling basin plate (SBP) is analytically expressed as spatially variable harmonic loads by the three-dimensional least squares method. Afterwards, a theoretical model for the SBP–foundation coupled system is established and the vibration of SBP subjected to analytical hydrodynamic load input is calculated. The ground vibration is further evaluated through the numerical simulation regarding the SBP vibration as the input load. According to the prototype test result, it is found that the variation trend of evaluation results under different working conditions is consistent with the actual situation, which indicates the effectiveness of this evaluation approach. Furthermore, the sensitivity analysis of SBP physical dimensions to ground vibration is conducted, and an optimized design for SBP is presented as a result. The verification results indicate that ground vibration can be significantly reduced by applying SBP optimization.

Maternal immune activation (MIA) is a risk factor for multiple neurodevelopmental disorders; however, animal models developed to explore MIA mechanisms are sensitive to experimental factors, which has led to complexity in previous reports of the MIA phenotype. We sought to characterize an MIA protocol throughout development to understand how prenatal immune insult alters the trajectory of important neurodevelopmental processes, including the microglial regulation of synaptic spines and complement signaling. We used polyinosinic:polycytidylic acid (polyI:C) to induce MIA on gestational day 9.5 in CD-1 mice, and measured their synaptic spine density, microglial synaptic pruning, and complement protein expression. We found reduced dendritic spine density in the somatosensory cortex starting at 3-weeks-of-age with requisite increases in microglial synaptic pruning and phagocytosis, suggesting spine density loss was caused by increased microglial synaptic pruning. Additionally, we showed dysregulation in complement protein expression persisting into adulthood. Our findings highlight disruptions in the prenatal environment leading to alterations in multiple dynamic processes through to postnatal development. This could potentially suggest developmental time points during which synaptic processes could be measured as risk factors or targeted with therapeutics for neurodevelopmental disorders.

In recent years, optical fibers have found extensive use in special environments, including high-energy radiation scenarios like nuclear explosion diagnostics and reactor monitoring. However, radiation exposure, such as X-rays, gamma rays, and neutrons, can compromise fiber safety and reliability. Consequently, researchers worldwide are focusing on radiation-resistant fiber optic technology. This paper examines optical fiber radiation damage mechanisms, encompassing ionization damage, displacement damage, and defect centers. It also surveys the current research on radiation-resistant fiber optic design, including doping and manufacturing process improvements. Ultimately, it summarizes the effectiveness of various approaches and forecasts the future of radiation-resistant optical fibers.

Recently, the vascular protective effect of anti-diabetic agents has been receiving much attention. Sodium glucose cotransporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitors had demonstrated reductions in cardiovascular (CV) events. However, the therapeutic effect of dapagliflozin on angiogenesis in peripheral arterial disease was unclear. This study aimed to explore the effect and mechanism of dapagliflozin on angiogenesis after hindlimb ischemia. We first evaluated the effect of dapagliflozin on post-ischemic angiogenesis in the hindlimbs of rats. Laser doppler imaging was used to detect the hindlimb blood perfusion. In addition, we used immunohistochemistry to detect the density of new capillaries after ischemia. The relevant signaling pathways of dapagliflozin affecting post-ischemic angiogenesis were screened through phosphoproteomic detection, and then the mechanism of dapagliflozin affecting post-ischemic angiogenesis was verified at the level of human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs). After subjection to excision of the left femoral artery, all rats were randomly distributed into two groups: the dapagliflozin group (left femoral artery resection, receiving intragastric feeding with dapagliflozin (1 mg/kg/d), for 21 consecutive days) and the model group, that is, the positive control group (left femoral artery resection, receiving intragastric feeding with citric acid–sodium citrate buffer solution (1 mg/kg/d), for 21 consecutive days). In addition, the control group, that is the negative control group (without left femoral artery resection, receiving intragastric feeding with citric acid–sodium citrate buffer solution (1 mg/kg/d), for 21 consecutive days) was added. At day 21 post-surgery, the dapagliflozin-treatment group had the greatest blood perfusion, accompanied by elevated capillary density. The results showed that dapagliflozin could promote angiogenesis after hindlimb ischemia. Then, the ischemic hindlimb adductor-muscle tissue samples from three rats of model group and dapagliflozin group were taken for phosphoproteomic testing. The results showed that the PI3K-Akt-eNOS signaling pathway was closely related to the effect of dapagliflozin on post-ischemic angiogenesis. Our study intended to verify this mechanism from the perspective of endothelial cells. In vitro, dapagliflozin enhanced the tube formation, migration, and proliferation of HUVECs under ischemic and hypoxic conditions. Additionally, the dapagliflozin administration upregulated the expression of angiogenic factors phosphorylated Akt (p-Akt) and phosphorylated endothelial nitric oxide synthase (p-eNOS), as well as vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGFA), both in vivo and in vitro. These benefits could be blocked by either phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K) or eNOS inhibitor. dapagliflozin could promote angiogenesis after ischemia. This effect might be achieved by promoting the activation of the PI3K-Akt-eNOS signaling pathway. This study provided a new perspective, new ideas, and a theoretical basis for the treatment of peripheral arterial disease.

Organic dyes are widely used in many important areas, but they also bring many issues for water pollution. To address the above issues, a reconstructed kaolinite hybrid compound (γ-AlOOH@A-Kaol) was obtained from raw kaolinite (Kaol) in this work. The product was then characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier-transform infrared (ATR-FTIR), Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and the absorption properties of γ-AlOOH@A-Kaol for congo red were further studied. The results demonstrated that flower-like γ-AlOOH with nanolamellae were uniformly loaded on the surface of acid-treated Kaol with a porous structure (A-Kaol). In addition, the surface area (36.5 m2/g), pore volume (0.146 cm3/g), and pore size (13.0 nm) of γ-AlOOH@A-Kaol were different from those of A-Kaol (127.4 m2/g, 0.127 cm3/g, and 4.28 nm, respectively) and γ-AlOOH (34.1 m2/g, 0.315 cm3/g, and 21.5 nm, respectively). The unique structure could significantly enhance the sorption capacity for congo red, which could exceed 1000 mg/g. The reasons may be ascribed to the abundant groups of -OH, large specific surface area, and porous structure of γ-AlOOH@A-Kaol. This work provides an efficient route for comprehensive utilization and production of Kaol-based compound materials that could be used in the field of environmental conservation.

This study investigates the growth dynamics and heavy metal immobilization in Sudan grass cultivated on substrates composed of electrolytic manganese residue (EMR), phosphogypsum, and chili straw biochar. Pot experiments revealed that a substrate with phosphogypsum constituting 75% of the mix hinders Sudan grass seed germination. Compared with sole EMR utilization, the composite substrates notably enhanced plant growth, evidenced by increases in plant height and fresh weight. The integration of these substrates led to a significant elevation in total chlorophyll content (up to 54.39%) and a reduction in malondialdehyde (MDA) levels (up to 21.66%), indicating improved photosynthetic activity and lower oxidative stress. The addition of biochar reduced the content of Zn, Cd, and Mn in the roots of Sudan grass by up to 25.92%, 20.00%, and 43.17%, respectively; and reduced the content of Pb, Mn, and Cr in the shoot by up to 33.72%, 17.53%, and 26.32%, respectively. Fuzzy membership function analysis identified the optimal substrate composition as 75% EMR and 25% phosphogypsum, with 5% chili straw biochar, based on overall performance metrics. This study adopts the concept of “to treat waste with waste”. The approach is to fully consider the fertility characteristics of EMR, phosphogypsum, and biochar, underscoring the potential for utilizing waste-derived materials in cultivating Sudan grass and offering a sustainable approach to plant growth and heavy metal management.

Steel slag is a by-product of the steel industry and usually contains a high amount of f-CaO and f-MgO, which will result in serious soundness problems once used as a binding material and/or aggregates. To relieve this negative effect, carbonation treatment was believed to be one of the available and reliable methods. By carbonation treatment of steel slag, the phases of f-CaO and f-MgO can be effectively transformed into CaCO3 and MgCO3, respectively. This will not only reduce the expansive risk of steel slag to improve the utilization of steel slag further but also capture and store CO2 due to the mineralization process to reduce carbon emissions. In this study, based on the physical and chemical properties of steel slag, the carbonation mechanism, factors affecting the carbonation process, and the application of carbonated steel slag were reviewed. Eventually, the research challenge was also discussed.

Leucine-rich repeat receptor-like proteins (LRR-RLPs), a major group of receptor-like proteins in plants, have diverse functions in plant physiology, including growth, development, signal transduction, and stress responses. Despite their importance, the specific roles of kiwifruit LRR-RLPs in response to biotic and abiotic stresses remain poorly understood. In this study, we performed family identification, characterization, transcriptome data analysis, and differential gene expression analysis of kiwifruit LRR-RLPs. We identified totals of 101, 164, and 105 LRR-RLPs in Actinidia chinensis ‘Hongyang’, Actinidia eriantha ‘Huate’, and Actinidia chinensis ‘Red5’, respectively. Synteny analysis revealed that the expansion of kiwifruit LRR-RLPs was primarily attributed to segmental duplication events. Based on RNA-seq data from pathogen-infected kiwifruits, we identified specific LRR-RLP genes potentially involved in different stages of pathogen infection. Additionally, we observed the potential involvement of kiwifruit LRR-RLPs in abiotic stress responses, with upstream transcription factors possibly regulating their expression. Furthermore, protein interaction network analysis unveiled the participation of kiwifruit LRR-RLP in the regulatory network of abiotic stress responses. These findings highlight the crucial roles of LRR-RLPs in mediating both biotic and abiotic stress responses in kiwifruit, offering valuable insights for the breeding of stress-resistant kiwifruit varieties.

Alpha-ketoglutaric acid (α-KG), as an intermediate product of the tricarboxylic acid cycle, plays a crucial role in peptide and amino acid synthesis. In order to reduce costs and improve efficiency in the oxidative production of α-ketoglutaric acid, this study successfully synthesized and expressed L-glutamate oxidase (LGOXStr) from Streptomyces viridosporus R111 and catalase (KatGEsc) from Escherichia coli H736. Two immobilization methods and the conditions for one-step whole-cell catalysis of α-ketoglutaric acid were investigated. α-Ketoglutaric acid has broad applications in the pharmaceutical, food, and chemical industries. The specific research results are as follows: (1) By fusing the sfGFP tag, L-glutamate oxidase (LGOXStr r) and catalase (KatGEsc) were successfully anchored to the outer membrane of Escherichia coli cells, achieving one-step whole-cell catalysis of α-ketoglutaric acid with a conversion efficiency of up to 75%. (2) Through the co-immobilization of LGOXStr and KatGEsc, optimization of the preparation parameters of immobilized cells, and exploration of the immobilization method using E.coli@ZIF-8, immobilized cells with conversion rates of over 60% were obtained even after 10 cycles of reuse. Under the optimal conditions, the production rate of α-ketoglutaric acid reached 96.7% in a 12 h reaction, which is 1.1 times that of E. coli@SA and 1.29 times that of free cells.

Protein content (PC) is crucial to the nutritional quality of soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merrill]. In this study, a total of 266 accessions were used to perform a genome-wide association study (GWAS) in three tested environments. A total of 23,131 high-quality SNP markers (MAF ≥ 0.02, missing data ≤ 10%) were identified. A total of 40 association signals were significantly associated with PC. Among them, five novel quantitative trait nucleotides (QTNs) were discovered, and another 32 QTNs were found to be overlapping with the genomic regions of known quantitative trait loci (QTL) related to soybean PC. Combined with GWAS, metabolome and transcriptome sequencing, 59 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) that might control the change in protein content were identified. Meantime, four commonly upregulated differentially abundant metabolites (DAMs) and 29 commonly downregulated DAMs were found. Remarkably, the soybean gene Glyma.08G136900, which is homologous with Arabidopsis hydroxyproline-rich glycoproteins (HRGPs), may play an important role in improving the PC. Additionally, Glyma.08G136900 was divided into two main haplotype in the tested accessions. The PC of haplotype 1 was significantly lower than that of haplotype 2. The results of this study provided insights into the genetic mechanisms regulating protein content in soybean.

The diagenetic facies of tight oil reservoirs reflect the diagenetic characteristics and micro-pore structure of reservoirs, determining the formation and distribution of sweet spot zones. By establishing the correlation between diagenetic facies and logging curves, we can effectively identify the vertical variation of diagenetic facies types and predict the spatial variation of reservoir quality. However, it is still challenging work to establish the correlation between logging and diagenetic facies, and there are some problems such as low accuracy, high time consumption and high cost. To this end, we propose a lithofacies identification method for tight oil reservoirs based on hybrid intelligence using the Fuyu oil layer of the Sanzhao depression in Songliao Basin as the target area. Firstly, the geological characteristics of the selected area were analyzed, the definition and classification scheme of diagenetic facies and the dominant diagenetic facies were discussed, and the logging response characteristics of various diagenetic facies were summarized. Secondly, based on the standardization of logging curves, the logging image data set of various diagenetic facies was built, and the imbalanced data set processing was performed. Thirdly, by integrating CNN (Convolutional Neural Networks) and ViT (Visual Transformer), the C-ViTM hybrid intelligent model was constructed to identify the diagenetic facies of tight oil reservoirs. Finally, the effectiveness of the method is demonstrated through experiments with different thicknesses, accuracy and single-well identification. The experimental results show that the C-ViTM method has the best identification effect at the sample thickness of 0.5 m, with Precision of above 86%, Recall of above 90% and F1 score of above 89%. The calculation result of the Jaccard index in the identification of a single well was 0.79, and the diagenetic facies of tight reservoirs can be identified efficiently and accurately. At the same time, it also provides a new idea for the identification of the diagenetic facies of old oilfields with only logging image data sets.

Objective: To investigate the effects of different combined treatments of bacteria and enzyme on the degradation and flavor components of body wall of sea cucumber. Methods: Different treatment methods: Single bacteria (J), single enzyme (M), bacteria before enzyme (JM), bacteria after enzyme (MJ), and bacteria with enzyme (T) (The bacterium was Bacillus amyloliticus and the enzyme was compound protease) were used to degrade the body wall of sea cucumber. Physical and chemical indexes such as amino acid composition and relative molecular mass distribution of polypeptides in the degradation solution were determined. Gas chromatography-ion mobility spectrometry (GC-IMS) and electronic tongue were used to determine the volatile and non-volatile flavor components of the degradation products of body wall of sea cucumber under different treatments. Results: After combined treatments of bacteria and enzyme (JM, MJ, T), compared with single action, the content of relative molecular mass of peptides larger than 1000 Da was decreased by 60.29%, while those smaller than 500 Da was increased by 33.36%. The content of total free amino acid and nucleotide of combined treatments were increased by 1.3 and 4.1 times, respectively, compared with that of bacterial enzyme alone. The volatile compounds in the degradation solution increased from 43 without treatment to 67 after combined treatments, indicating that the flavor components of body wall of sea cucumber became more complex after combined treatment. Combined treatment could reduce the content of small molecular aldehydes, unsaturated aldehydes and other fishy ingredients, increase the content of esters and other pleasant ingredients. Among them, the treatment group with the highest polypeptide content was M (34.770 mg/g), followed by JM (30.733 mg/g), and the sensory score was highest in JM (66.67), followed by J (63.75). In the proportion of the sum of umami and sweet amino acids to the total amino acids, J was the highest, followed by JM and M, and T was the lowest. In the combined treatments of bacterial and enzyme, the relative contents of propionic acid with sour odor and 2-methylpropionic aldehyde with pungent odor were lower, and the relative contents of 2-pentanone with ketone flavor and laurene with aromatic flavor were higher in the JM treatment group. According to the results of each index, the flavor of JM degradation solution was better. Conclusion: The combined treatments of bacteria and enzyme (JM, MJ, T) can remove the fishy taste of the degradation products of sea cucumber, and improve the aromatic flavor at the same time. JM has the highest evaluation of degradation. As a technology to degrade the body wall of sea cucumber, polypeptide degradation products with good flavor can be obtained.

Abstract Structural batteries are multifunctional composite materials that can carry mechanical load and store electrical energy. Their multifunctionality requires an ionically conductive and stiff electrolyte matrix material. For this purpose, a bi-continuous polymer electrolyte is used where a porous solid phase holds the structural integrity of the system, and a liquid phase, which occupies the pores, conducts lithium ions. To assess the porous structure, three-dimensional topology information is needed. Here we study the three-dimensional structure of the porous battery electrolyte material using combined focused ion beam and scanning electron microscopy and transfer into finite element models. Numerical analyses provide predictions of elastic modulus and ionic conductivity of the bi-continuous electrolyte material. Characterization of the three-dimensional structure also provides information on the diameter and volume distributions of the polymer and pores, as well as geodesic tortuosity.

Abstract To study the characteristics of bacterial community structure in high-yield and low-yield moso bamboo (Phyllostachys edulis) forests, we collected bamboo rhizome, rhizome root, stem, leaf, rhizosphere soil, and non-rhizosphere soil from high- and low-yield forests in Yong'an City and Jiangle County of Fujian Province, China. The genomic DNA of the samples was extracted, sequenced and analyzed. The results show that: the common differences between the high-yield and low-yield P. edulis forest samples in the two regions were mainly in bacterial community compositions in the bamboo rhizome, rhizome root, and soil samples. Differences in the bacterial community compositions in the stem and leaf samples were insignificant. The bacterial species and diversity in rhizome root and rhizosphere soil of high-yield P. edulis forests were less than those of low-yield forests. The relative abundance of Actinobacteria and Acidobacteria in rhizome root samples of high-yield forests was higher than that in low-yield forests. The relative abundance of Rhizobiales and Burkholderiales in bamboo rhizome samples in high-yield forests was higher than that in low-yield forests. The relative abundance of Bradyrhizobium in bamboo rhizome samples in high-yield forests was higher than that in low-yield forests in the two regions. The change of bacterial community composition in P. edulis stems and leaves showed little correlation with high- or low-yields of P. edulis forests. Notably, the bacterial community composition of the rhizome root system was correlated with the high yield of bamboo. This study provides a theoretical basis for using of microbes to enhance the yields of P. edulis forests.

ABSTRACT: Objective: Generic medications are widely used because of their low cost. However, some generic medications show lower quality and clinical efficacy compared with brand-name medications, especially for antimicrobial drugs. Levofloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antimicrobial drug with excellent antimicrobial activity and wide antimicrobial spectrum, while it is susceptible to drug resistance. Our study aims to evaluate the bioequivalence of generic and brand-name levofloxacin. Methods: The pharmacokinetic (PK) parameters (Cmax, AUC0∼24, Tmax, and t1/2), pharmacodynamic (PD) parameters (in vitro antibacterial activity and the inhibition of resistant mutation), and PK/PD analysis (the probability of target attainment; the cumulative fraction of response) calculated by Monte Carlo simulation were investigated. Results: Our results demonstrated that compared with generics, brand-name levofloxacin not only had higher drug content, it also showed higher antimicrobial susceptibility, higher resistance to mutation ability, and higher percentage of each dosage interval wherein plasma concentration of antimicrobial agents exceeded the MPC90 (mutant prevention concentration to prevent the mutation of 90% strains) against various clinical isolates. Although the differences in AUC0∼24 between brand-name levofloxacin and generics were not statistically significant (P > 0.05, F test), Monte Carlo simulation results showed cumulative fraction of response values for PK/PD of brand-name medications were higher than generics. Conclusion: Our results indicated that PK or PD equivalence did not imply therapeutic equivalence; thus, we suggest including PK/PD analysis in the bioequivalence evaluation system, which benefits prediction of clinical outcome with high application value.

Abstract Introduction The aim of this work is to evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of sufentanil vs. remifentanil anesthesia in elderly patients undergoing curative resection for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Methods Medical records of elderly patients aged ≥ 65 years who received curative resection for HCC between January 2017 and December 2020 were retrospectively reviewed. The patients were divided into either the sufentanil group or the remifentanil group according to the method of analgesia used. Abstract Background Thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP) is rare and severe thrombotic microangiopathy characterized by thrombocytopenia, hemolytic anemia, and renal dysfunction. In contrast, essential thrombocythemia (ET) is a myeloproliferative disease associated with an abnormal increase in platelet numbers. Previous studies reported several cases of the development of ET in patients with TTP. However, the case of an ET patient complicated with TTP has not been previously reported. In this case study, we present a patient with TTP who was previously diagnosed with ET. Therefore, to the best of our knowledge, this is the first report of TTP in ET. Case presentation A 31-year-old Chinese female who was previously diagnosed with ET presented with anemia and renal dysfunction. The patient had been on long-term treatment with hydroxyurea, aspirin, and alpha interferon (INF-α) for ten years. The diagnosis of TTP was confirmed by clinical features, schistocytes noted on the peripheral blood smear, and lower ADAMTS13 activity (8.5%), together with the renal biopsy results. INF-α was discontinued, and the patient was then treated with plasma exchange and corticosteroids. After one year of follow-up, the patient had a normal hemoglobin level and platelet numbers, and her ADAMTS13 activity had improved. However, the patient’s renal function remains impaired. Conclusions We report a case of an ET patient complicated with TTP that was possibly due to INF-α, highlighting the potential complications associated with long-term ET therapy. The case also highlights the importance of considering TTP in patients with pre-existing ET who present with anemia and renal dysfunction, extending the spectrum of known studies.

Abstract Background Endocrine-resistant HR+/HER2- breast cancer (BC) and triple-negative BC (TNBC) are of interest for molecularly informed treatment due to their aggressive natures and limited treatment profiles. Patients of African Ancestry (AA) experience higher rates of TNBC and mortality than European Ancestry (EA) patients, despite lower overall BC incidence. Here, we compare the molecular landscapes of AA and EA patients with HR+/HER2- BC and TNBC in a real-world cohort to promote equity in precision oncology by illuminating the heterogeneity of potentially druggable genomic and transcriptomic pathways. Methods De-identified records from patients with TNBC or HR+/HER2- BC in the Tempus Database were randomly selected (N = 5000), with most having stage IV disease. Mutations, gene expression, and transcriptional signatures were evaluated from next-generation sequencing data. Genetic ancestry was estimated from DNA-seq. Differences in mutational prevalence, gene expression, and transcriptional signatures between AA and EA were compared. EA patients were used as the reference population for log fold-changes (logFC) in expression. Results After applying inclusion criteria, 3433 samples were evaluated (n = 623 AA and n = 2810 EA). Observed patterns of dysregulated pathways demonstrated significant heterogeneity among the two groups. Abstract Using (447.9 ± 2.3) million ψ(3686) events collected with the BESIII detector, the decays of χ cJ → ϕϕ (J = 0, 1, 2) have been studied via the decay ψ(3686) → γχ cJ . The branching fractions of the decays χ cJ → ϕϕ (J = 0, 1, 2) are determined to be (8.59 ± 0.27 ± 0.20) × 10 −4, (4.26 ± 0.13 ± 0.15) × 10 −4, and (12.67 ± 0.28 ± 0.33) × 10 −4, respectively, which are the most precise measurements to date. From a helicity amplitude analysis of the process ψ(3686) → γχ cJ , χ cJ → ϕϕ, ϕ → K + K − , the polarization parameters of the χ cJ → ϕϕ decays are determined for the first time.

Abstract Background A considerable amount of various types of data have been collected during the COVID-19 pandemic, the analysis and understanding of which have been indispensable for curbing the spread of the disease. As the pandemic moves to an endemic state, the data collected during the pandemic will continue to be rich sources for further studying and understanding the impacts of the pandemic on various aspects of our society. On the other hand, naïve release and sharing of the information can be associated with serious privacy concerns. Methods We use three common but distinct data types collected during the pandemic (case surveillance tabular data, case location data, and contact tracing networks) to illustrate the publication and sharing of granular information and individual-level pandemic data in a privacy-preserving manner. We leverage and build upon the concept of differential privacy to generate and release privacy-preserving data for each data type. We investigate the inferential utility of privacy-preserving information through simulation studies at different levels of privacy guarantees and demonstrate the approaches in real-life data. All the approaches employed in the study are straightforward to apply. Results The empirical studies in all three data cases suggest that privacy-preserving results based on the differentially privately sanitized data can be similar to the original results at a reasonably small privacy loss ( $$\epsilon \approx 1$$ ϵ ≈ 1 ). Statistical inferences based on sanitized data using the multiple synthesis technique also appear valid, with nominal coverage of 95% confidence intervals when there is no noticeable bias in point estimation. Abstract Background Human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) positive breast cancer is an aggressive subtype, accounting for around 20% of all breast cancers. The development of HER2-targeted therapy has substantially improved patient outcomes. Nevertheless, the increasing rate of side effects and resistance to targeted drugs limit their efficacy in clinical practice. In this study, we designed and synthesized a new immunotoxin, 4D5Fv-PE25, which targets HER2-positive breast cancer, and evaluated its effectiveness in vitro and in vivo. Results The 4D5Fv-PE25 was expressed in high-density Escherichia coli (E. coli.) using the fermentor method and refined via hydrophobicity, ion exchange, and filtration chromatography, achieving a 56.06% recovery rate. Additionally, the semi-manufactured product with 96% purity was prepared into freeze-dried powder by the lyophilized process. Flow cytometry was used to detect the expression of HER2 in SK-BR-3, BT-474, MDA-MB-231, and MDA-MB-468 breast cancer cell lines. The 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide (MTT) method was used for cytotoxicity assay, and the half-maximal inhibitory concentration (IC50) of 4D5Fv-PE25 lyophilized products to HER2-positive cell line SK-BR-3 was 12.53 ng/mL. The 4D5Fv-PE25 was injected into xenograft tumor mice via the tail vein on the 1st, 4th, and 8th day, it indicated that the growth of tumor volume was effectively inhibited for 24 days, although the 4D5Fv-PE25 was metabolized within 60 min by measuring the release of 3 H-Thymidine radiation. Conclusion we succeeded in producing the 4D5Fv-PE25 freeze-dried powder using the prokaryotic expression method, and it could be employed as a potential drug for treating HER2-positive breast cancer. ABSTRACTThe stock price index is a thermometer reflecting changes in the stock market, and can convey key information on capital market dynamics and trends to investors. This paper empirically investigates the impact of index adjustments on corporate social responsibility performance by employing the quasi-natural experiment of CSI 300 index adjustments. We find that index additions significantly promote corporate social responsibility performance. Mechanism analysis supports the shareholder value maximisation motivation that drives the fulfilment of corporate social responsibility. In addition, more analyst following and investor attention plays a significant mediating role in the promotion impact of stock index additions on corporate social responsibility. Further analyses show that the positive impact of the stock index additions on corporate social responsibility performance is more pronounced in industries with more competitive product market. However, index deletions do not significantly reduce corporate social responsibility performance, implying that index additions and index deletions have asymmetric effects.

Abstract Background This study aimed to evaluate the predictive value of systemic inflammation response index (SIRI) in primary gastrointestinal diffuse large B‐cell lymphoma (PGI‐DLBCL) patients and establish a highly discriminating risk prediction model. The impact of food nutrients on human health depends primarily on the digestion process in the gastrointestinal tract. The in vitro digestion model can simulate the digestive processes in vivo conditions integrally. It has the advantages of reproducibility, simplicity and universality. In vitro digestion can not only forecast the relationship among food composition, structure and digestive characteristics, but also calculate the bioavailability of food components and the impact of digestive metabolites on body health, so it is an important way to research nutrients in food. In vitro digestion has been widely used in the study of nutritional active substances in aquatic products. This article reviews the current situation of the in vitro digestion model and states the advantages and disadvantages of static and dynamic models and their applications in detail. It systematically summarizes the application of in vitro digestion in the study of nutritional active substances in aquatic products, including research on the digestibility of protein, the stability of bioactive peptides, the digestive and fermentation characteristics of polysaccharides, and the oxidation stability of lipid. In addition, suggestions for the limitations and optimization of the in vitro digestion model have been provided. It is expected to be useful in the future for its application in marine biomedicine, marine functional food and other fields.

Abstract Background Taohong Siwu Decoction (THSWD) is a prescription which included in the “List of Ancient Classic Prescriptions (First Batch)” issued by the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and the National Medical Products Administration of the People’s Republic of China. THSWD is effective and widely applied clinically for many diseases caused by blood deficiency and stasis syndrome in TCM, such as primary dysmenorrhea, menopausal syndrome, coronary heart disease, angina pectoris, and diabetes. Methods The TCM model of blood deficiency and blood stasis syndrome was prepared by ice water bath combined with cyclophosphamide, and the rats were randomly divided into control group, blood deficiency, and blood stasis model group, positive group, and THSWD treatment group. Pharmacodynamics measured the blood routine, blood coagulation, and other related indexes in rats. UHPLC-MS technology was used to analyze the changes in the fingerprints of metabolites in the plasma of rats with blood deficiency and blood stasis syndrome, and combined with mass spectrometry information and public database retrieval, to find potential biomarkers for screening metabolites. At the same time, 16S rDNA sequencing technology was used to identify intestinal flora, and statistical analysis was used to find differences in strain diversity between groups. Results THSWD administration can significantly improve the physical signs, blood routine, and hematopoietic factors caused by the blood deficiency and blood stasis syndrome model, and improve the symptoms of blood deficiency. The results of the general pharmacological studies showed THSWD groups improved changes in blood plasma viscosity and coagulation-related factors caused by modeling, and improved coagulation function significantly. The metabolomic analysis found that compared to the model group, THSWD exerted better effects on β-alanine, taurine, l-tyrosine, l-arginine, Eugenol, sodium deoxycholate, and deethylatrazine. Twenty-three potential differential metabolites showed intervention effects, mainly involved in eight metabolic pathways, including amino acid metabolism, taurine and hypotaurine metabolism, vitamin metabolism, and nucleotide metabolism. Gut microbiota data showed that, compared to the control group, the relative abundance and value of Firmicutes and Bacteroidota of the blood deficiency and blood stasis model group was significantly reduced, while the relative abundance of Actinobacteria, Spirochaetota, Proteobacteria, Campilobacterota, and other pathogenic bacteria was significantly increased. Following THSWD intervention, the abundance of beneficial bacteria increased, and the abundance of pathogenic bacteria decreased. Correlation analysis between the gut microbiota and differential metabolites showed that the two are closely related. THSWD affected the host blood system through mutual adjustment of these two factors, and improved blood deficiency and blood stasis syndrome in rats. Conclusion The blood deficiency and blood stasis syndrome model of TCM disease caused by ice bath combined with cyclophosphamide lead to changes in the pharmacology, metabolomics, and gut microbiota. The intervention of THSWD can improve the symptoms caused by blood deficiency and blood stasis. The mechanism is mainly through the regulation of platelet function and amino acid metabolism.

Abstract Background Vascular dysfunction, including cerebral hypoperfusion, plays an important role in the pathogenesis and progression of Alzheimer’s disease (AD), independent of amyloid and tau pathology. We established an AD-related perfusion pattern (ADRP) measured with arterial spin labeling (ASL) MRI using multivariate spatial covariance analysis. Methods We obtained multimodal MRI including pseudo-continuous ASL and neurocognitive testing in a total of 55 patients with a diagnosis of mild to moderate AD supported by amyloid PET and 46 normal controls (NCs). An ADRP was established from an identification cohort of 32 patients with AD and 32 NCs using a multivariate analysis method based on scaled subprofile model/principal component analysis, and pattern expression in individual subjects was quantified for both the identification cohort and a validation cohort (23 patients with AD and 14 NCs). Subject expression score of the ADRP was then used to assess diagnostic accuracy and cognitive correlations in AD patients and compared with global and regional cerebral blood flow (CBF) in specific areas identified from voxel-based univariate analysis. Results The ADRP featured negative loading in the bilateral middle and posterior cingulate and precuneus, inferior parietal lobule, and frontal areas, and positive loading in the right cerebellum and bilateral basal areas. Abstract Objective Recent studies indicated that transmembrane protein 40 (TMEM40) is associated with several types of cancers but is not clear in cervical cancer (CC). The study aimed to examine the role of TMEM40 in CC and related mechanisms. Methods The expression of TMEM40 in CC tissues and cell lines was studied with western blot and real-time quantitative RT-PCR. The effect of TMEM40 on proliferation was evaluated by CCK-8, EdU and colony formation assay. The migration, invasion, cell cycle and apoptosis of CC cells were studied with wound healing, transwell assays and flow cytometry. Tumor growth was evaluated in vivo using a xenogenous subcutaneously implant model. Results The results revealed that the TMEM40 elevation in CC tissues and cell lines was closely correlated with tumor size and lymph node metastasis in clinical patients. Upregulation of TMEM40 with OE-TMEM40 vector promoted the invasion, migration and proliferation, inhibited the apoptosis and led to distinct S cell cycle arrest in CC cell lines. Silencing TMEM40 with shRNA inhibited the invasion, migration and proliferation, promoted apoptosis and led to a G0/G1 cell cycle arrest in CC cell lines. Silence of TMEM40 downregulated the expression of c-MYC, Cyclin D1, matrix metalloproteinase-1 (MMP-1) and matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9), but in contrast, activated p53 and several apoptosis related proteins such as p53, Caspase-3, Caspase-9 and PARP1. In addition, TMEM40 silencing dramatically decreased tumor growth in mice models. Conclusion The present study demonstrates that TMEM40 upregulation can be a potential prognostic biomarker and contribute to CC development.

Abstract Background Plant pollen has diverse morphological characteristics that can be consistently passed down from generation to generation. Information on pollen morphology is thus immensely important for plant classification and identification. In the genus Gossypium, however, in-depth research on pollen morphology is lacking, with only few reports on limited cotton species. To evaluate the diversity of pollen in Gossypium, we therefore conducted a comprehensive analysis of the pollen morphology of 33 cotton species and varieties using scanning electron microscopy. Results The 33 analyzed cotton samples exhibited common pollen morphological features, including spherical shapes, radial symmetry, echination, panporation, and operculation, while the pollen size, spine shape, spine density and length showed distinctive features. Pollen size varied significantly among species, with diameters ranging from 62.43 μm in G. harknessii to 103.41 μm in G. barbadense. The exine had an echinate sculptural texture, and spines were mostly conical or sharply conical but occasionally rod-like. Spine density varied from 173 in G. incanum to 54 in G. gossypioides, while spine length ranged from 3.53 μm in G. herbaceum to 9.47 μm in G. barbadense. In addition, the 33 cotton species and varieties were grouped at a genetic distance of 3.83 into three clusters. Cluster I comprised five allotetraploid AD-genome cotton species, four D-genome species, and one K-genome species. Cluster II included 13 diploid species from A, B, D, E, and G genomes, whereas Cluster III only consisted one E-genome species G. incanum. Conclusions Although pollen characteristics alone are not enough to resolve taxonomic and systematic relationships within the genus Gossypium, our results add to knowledge on palynomorphology and contribute to phenological information on these taxa. Our findings should aid future systematic and phylogenetic studies of the Gossypium genus.

This article presents a DOD-SOH equalization method for a DRB system based on the Deep DQN algorithm. The proposed method utilizes DQN to learn the operational processes of the system. By integrating the advantages of DRB with SOH equalization theory and the DQN algorithm from the perspective of DOD, our method significantly improve battery performance and ensure cell balancing. To begin with, we present a dynamic reconfigurable battery system with a simple topological structure and outline its switching control process. Additionly, we provide an analysis of the SOH balancing principle and elaborate on the control process of DQN algorithm. Finally, subsequent simulations are carried out, and the simulation results demonstrate outstanding performances in reducing the variance of SOHs, which indicates an enhancement in the level of SOH balancing as well.

Abstract Tobacco wildfire disease caused by Pseudomonas syringae pv. tabaci is one of the most destructive foliar bacterial diseases occurring worldwide. However, the effect of wildfire disease on cigar tobacco leaves has not been clarified in detail. In this study, the differences in microbiota and chemical factors between wildfire disease‐infected leaves and healthy leaves were characterized using high‐throughput Illumina sequencing and a continuous‐flow analytical system, respectively. The results demonstrated significant alterations in the structure of the phyllosphere microbial community in response to wildfire disease, and the infection of P. syringae pv. tabaci led to a decrease in bacterial richness and diversity. Furthermore, the content of nicotine, protein, total nitrogen, and Cl− in diseased leaves significantly increased by 47.86%, 17.46%, 20.08%, and 72.77% in comparison to healthy leaves, while the levels of total sugar and reducing sugar decreased by 59.59% and 70.0%, respectively. Notably, the wildfire disease had little effect on the content of starch and K+. Redundancy analysis revealed that Pseudomonas, Staphylococcus, Cladosporium, and Wallemia displayed positive correlations with nicotine, protein, total nitrogen, Cl− and K+ contents, while Pantoea, Erwinia, Sphingomonas, Terrisporobacter, Aspergillus, Alternaria, Sampaiozyma, and Didymella displayed positive correlations with total sugar and reducing sugar contents. Brevibacterium, Brachybacterium, and Janibacter were found to be enriched in diseased leaves, suggesting their potential role in disease suppression. Co‐occurrence network analysis indicated that positive correlations were prevalent in microbial networks, and the bacterial network of healthy tobacco leaves exhibited greater complexity compared to diseased tobacco leaves. This study revealed the impact of wildfire disease on the microbial community and chemical compositions of tobacco leaves and provides new insights for the biological control of tobacco wildfire disease.

BackgroundHypertension is a significant global disease burden. Mobile health (mHealth) offers a promising means to provide patients with hypertension with easy access to health care services. Yet, its efficacy needs to be validated, especially in lower-income areas with a high-salt diet. ObjectiveThis study aims to assess the efficacy of an mHealth app–based intervention in supporting patients’ self-management of hypertension. MethodsA 2-arm randomized controlled trial was conducted among 297 patients with hypertension at the General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, China. Participants selected via convenience sampling were randomly allocated into intervention and control groups. Intervention group participants were trained and asked to use an mHealth app named Blood Pressure Assistant for 6 months. They could use the app to record and upload vital signs, access educational materials, and receive self-management reminders and feedback from health care providers based on the analysis of the uploaded data. Control group participants received usual care. Blood pressure (BP) and 2 questionnaire surveys about hypertension knowledge and lifestyle behavior were used to assess all participants at baseline and 6 months. Data analysis was performed with SPSS software using 2-tailed t tests and a chi-square test. ResultsThere were no significant differences in baseline characteristics and medication use between the 2 groups (all P>.05). Abstract This study aimed to investigate the awareness of high and pathological myopia among patients with high myopia. A cross‐sectional multicenter survey involving both physicians and patients was conducted between February and April 2021. The outpatient education status, doctors' expectations toward patient education, patients' awareness of high/pathological myopia, and their access to relevant knowledge were inquired, and the proportions of patients with myopia, including high and pathological myopia, were assessed. In total, the survey involved 6975 physicians and patients with myopia from 161 medical institutions in China. The prevalence of high myopia among patients was 11.3%, with 22.59% having pathological myopia. Among those with pathological myopia, 22.45% experienced high myopia complications. Approximately 48.7% of the physicians believed that patients had only a vague idea about high/pathological myopia, with certain misconceptions. Additionally, most outpatients (61.4%) had no access to specialized staff for patient education. Patients' preferences and requirements for online ophthalmology information varied based on family background, medical history, and cognition toward myopia. This study demonstrated that the awareness level among patients with myopia regarding high and pathological myopia is currently insufficient. Therefore, it is important to enhance education efforts to reduce the incidence of adverse outcomes.

Abstract Cardiac development involves large‐scale rearrangements of the proteome. How the developing cardiac cells maintain the integrity of the proteome during the rapid lineage transition remains unclear. Here it is shown that proteotoxic stress visualized by the misfolded and/or aggregated proteins appears during early cardiac differentiation of human pluripotent stem cells and is resolved by activation of the PERK branch of unfolded protein response (UPR). PERK depletion increases misfolded and/or aggregated protein accumulation, leading to pluripotency exit defect and impaired mesendoderm specification of human pluripotent stem cells. Mechanistically, it is found that PERK safeguards mesendoderm specification through its conserved downstream effector ATF4, which subsequently activates a novel transcriptional target WARS1, to cope with the differentiation‐induced proteotoxic stress. The results indicate that protein quality control represents a previously unrecognized core component of the cardiogenic regulatory network. Broadly, these findings provide a framework for understanding how UPR is integrated into the developmental program by activating the PERK‐ATF4‐WARS1 axis.

Objective The aim is to investigate the determinants and mechanisms that influence user's highly sensitive privacy disclosure intention (HSPDI) in home intelligent health service system (HIHSS). Methods This study improves the privacy calculus theory by considering the influence of service providers’ trust enhancement mechanism besides benefit and risk factors and investigates their impact on users’ HSPDIs. This study takes perceived valence and perceived security as the trade-off result among perceived benefits, perceived risks, financial trust enhancement mechanism, and the technical trust enhancement mechanism and suggests that perceived valence and perceived security further affect users’ HSPDI in HIHSS. Moreover, the common and differential effects of the perceived justice of privacy violation compensation (PJOPVC) and the perceived effectiveness of privacy protection technologies (PEOPPTs) are studied. The structural equation model is used to analyze 204 valid samples to test the proposed model. Results The results show that perceived benefits and perceived risks are important predictors of perceived valence and perceived security, and further affect users’ HSPDI. We find PJOPVC has a greater impact on perceived valence while PEOPPT has a greater impact on perceived security. Conclusions We recommend that the HSPDI of users with low perceived valence can be improved by providing privacy violation compensation while the HSPDI of users with low perceived security can be enhanced by popularizing relevant knowledge of privacy protection technologies.

BackgroundIn recent years, observational studies have provided evidence supporting a potential association between autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and gut microbiota. However, the causal effect of gut microbiota on ASD remains unknown.MethodsWe identified the summary statistics of 206 gut microbiota from the MiBioGen study, and ASD data were obtained from the latest Psychiatric Genomics Consortium Genome-Wide Association Study (GWAS). We then performed Mendelian randomization (MR) to determine a causal relationship between the gut microbiota and ASD using the inverse variance weighted (IVW) method, simple mode, MR-Egger, weighted median, and weighted model. Furthermore, we used Cochran’s Q test, MR-Egger intercept test, Mendelian Randomization Pleiotropy RESidual Sum and Outlier (MR-PRESSO), and leave-one-out analysis to identify heterogeneity and pleiotropy. Moreover, the Benjamin-Hochberg approach (FDR) was employed to assess the strength of the connection between exposure and outcome. We performed reverse MR analysis on the gut microbiota that were found to be causally associated with ASD in the forward MR analysis to examine the causal relationships. The enrichment analyses were used to analyze the biological function at last.ResultsBased on the results of IVW results, genetically predicted family Prevotellaceae and genus Turicibacter had a possible positive association with ASD (IVW OR=1.14, 95% CI: 1.00-1.29, P=3.7×10−2), four gut microbiota with a potential protective effect on ASD: genus Dorea (OR=0.81, 95% CI: 0.69-0.96, P=1.4×10−2), genus Ruminiclostridium5 (OR=0.81, 95% CI: 0.69-0.96, P=1.5×10−2), genus Ruminococcus1 (OR=0.83, 95% CI: 0.70-0.98, P=2.8×10−2), and genus Sutterella (OR=0.82, 95% CI: 0.68-0.99, P=3.6×10−2). After FDR multiple-testing correction we further observed that there were two gut microbiota still have significant relationship with ASD: family Prevotellaceae (IVW OR=1.24; 95% CI: 1.09-1.40, P=9.2×10-4) was strongly positively correlated with ASD and genus RuminococcaceaeUCG005 (IVW OR=0.78, 95% CI: 0.67-0.89, P=6.9×10−4) was strongly negatively correlated with ASD. The sensitivity analysis excluded the influence of heterogeneity and horizontal pleiotropy.ConclusionOur findings reveal a causal association between several gut microbiomes and ASD. These results deepen our comprehension of the role of gut microbiota in ASD’s pathology, providing the foothold for novel ideas and theoretical frameworks to prevent and treat this patient population in the future.

The evolution of power system is a dynamic and complex process. Whether the evolution of power system can adapt to the macro environment and develop with all subsystems within the system depends on the matching and integration development among different evolutionary subjects. Based on the dissipation theory and Brusselator model, this paper constructs an evolutionary synergy model of the power system, and quantitatively analyzes the evolutionary synergy relationship between the evolving subjects of the power system and the overall evolutionary process of the power system. Then, from the socio-technical system transformation theory, we analyze the evolutionary elements of macro-environmental level, meso-institutional level and micro-beneficial level in the process of system transformation in China and the interaction among them. Finally, by comparing the entropy changes of the evolutionary participant subjects and the overall power system at each stage, the endogenous mechanism of the power system, the external elements and their interactions on the system development are studied in order to reveal the evolutionary synergistic law of China’s power system and make suggestions for the development of the new power system.

Aims The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between resting energy expenditure (REE) based on equation estimation and renal outcomes in patients with diabetes kidney disease (DKD).Methods A total of 124 patients were enrolled from a retrospective cohort of Type 2 Diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patients with biopsy-proven DKD. Renal outcome defined as End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). To compare the predictive ability of different REE estimation equations on ESRD. Patients’ REE was assessed according to the estimating equation with the best predictive power, and then the relationship between REE and ESRD risk was fitted using a restricted cubic spline curve (RCS) plot and REE cutoff values were obtained. Grouping using cutoff values, and ultimately evaluate the relationship between REE and the risk of ESRD using a Multivariate Cox regression model.Results The strongest predictive validity for renal outcomes was the NDCKD-equation. The patients were divided into the higher-REE group (n = 78) and the lower-REE group (n = 46), based on the cutoff value. During the follow-up, 30 of 124 patients (24.2%) proceeded to ESRD. Multivariate Cox regression models showed that the risk of ESRD in patients with lower REE was 6.08 times increased compared with that in those with higher REE (HR = 6.08; 95% CI, 1.28–28.80, p = 0.023).Conclusion These findings suggested that the lower REE was an independent risk factor for unfavorable renal outcomes in patients with DKD.
