Introduction: Psilocybin, a naturally occurring serotonergic agonist in some mushroom species, has shown promise as a novel, fast-acting pharmacotherapy seeking to overcome the limitations of conventional first-line antidepressants. Studying psilocybin effects on cognition and emotional processing may help to clarify the mechanisms underlying the therapeutic potential of psilocybin and may also support studies with people suffering from depression. Thus, this review aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the current literature regarding the effects of psilocybin on these two key areas in both healthy and depressed populations. Method: A systematic search was performed on 29 January 2024, in the PubMed, EBSCOhost, Web of Science and SCOPUS databases. After duplicates removal, study selection was conducted considering pre-specified criteria. Data extraction was then performed. The quality assessment of the studies was carried out using the Cochrane Collaboration tools for randomized (RoB 2.0) and non-randomized (ROBINS-I) controlled trials. Results: Twenty articles were included, with 18 targeting healthy adults and two adults with depression. Results point to impairments within attentional and inhibitory processes, and improvements in the domains of creativity and social cognition in healthy individuals. In the population with depression, only cognitive flexibility and emotional recognition were affected, both being enhanced. The comparison of outcomes from both populations proved limited. Conclusions: Psilocybin acutely alters several cognitive domains, with a localized rather than global focus, in a dose- and time-dependent manner. However, the significant methodological constraints call for further research, in the context of depression and with standardized protocols, with longitudinal studies also imperative. This work aims to be a point of reference for those involved in various capacities in military decision-making, providing key data regarding research trends over the years, the geographical distribution of scientific productivity, methodologies employed, annual statistics, and the prevalence of the most-investigated terms and topics. Direct carotid-cavernous fistulas (dCCFs) involve the abnormal shunting of blood between the internal carotid artery and the cavernous sinus. The use of covered stents (CSs) has been reported for the treatment of complex carotid artery lesions. However, the efficacy and safety of CS treatment for dCCFs remain controversial. Thus, we performed a systematic review and meta-analysis to evaluate these efficacy and safety endpoints. A systematic literature review was performed by comprehensively searching the Medline, Embase, and Web of Science databases to identify studies that were related to CS treatment for dCCFs. Then, a meta-analysis was conducted to pool the efficacy and safety outcomes from these studies based on perioperative and follow-up data. Fourteen noncomparative studies enrolling 156 patients with 160 dCCFs met the inclusion criteria. When analyzing perioperative outcomes, the technical success rate was 98.5% [95% confidence interval (CI), 0.948; 1.000], and the immediate complete occlusion rate was 90.9% (95% CI, 0.862; 0.959). Vasospasm and dissection occurred in 32.2% (95% CI, 0.238; 0.463) and 0.1% (95% CI, 0.000; 0.012) of patients, respectively. The in-stent acute thrombus formation rate was 0.1% (95% CI, 0.000; 0.013). Postoperatively, the mortality rate was 0.1% (95% CI, 0.000; 0.013). Based on available follow-up data, the final complete occlusion and parent artery stenosis rates were 99.3% (95% CI, 0.959; 1.000) and 18.6% (95% CI, 0.125; 0.277), respectively. Objectives: Sigmoid volvulus (SV) recurs in about one quarter of the patients, whereas multiplex (≥3) attacks are quite rare and attacks with five or more times are extremely rare. The aim of this study was to evaluate multiplex SV attacks in our series and worldwide data. Methods: In Ataturk University Faculty of Medicine Department of General Surgery, among 1,071-case SV series, data were evaluated retrospectively in 612 patients, while prospectively in 459 with respect to age, gender, previous volvulus attacks, and prognosis. Worldwide data were obtained from Web of Science database and they were compared with our results. Results: Mean SV attack count, multiple- (≥2) and multiplex- (≥3) attack rates were 1.4, 26.1%, and 4.2%, respectively, in our series, while they were 1.7, 26.7%, and 3.2%, respectively, in worldwide data (p>0.05, in all). In our series, recurrence rates were 26.1%, 19.3%, and 51.2%, respectively, (p<0.001, in all), while mortality rates were 7.3%, 13.7%, and 19.5%, respectively, (p<0.001, in all) in single-, double-, and multiplex- (≥3) attack patients. Conclusion: Although multiplex (≥3) attacks are uncommon in SV, when it goes up, elective surgery must be considered in selected cases to avoid repetitive attacks and related high mortality. Background: Therapeutic endoscopy and gastroenterology fellows often participate in endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) during their training period. However, it is generally feared that trainee involvement may increase ERCP-related complications, mainly because of the side-viewing nature of the endoscope and the higher risk of pancreatic duct cannulation. There is no concrete evidence to support this notion. This systematic review and meta-analysis aims to investigate the resultsof trainee participation on adverse events related to ERCP. Methods: PubMed, EMBASE, Google Scholar, SCOPUS, and Web of Science databases were searched from inception to 31 May 2023 for studies evaluating the ERCP outcomes defined as success rates, procedure time, failed attempts, and adverse events with and without trainee participation. A random effect model was used to perform the meta-analysis, and heterogeneity was assessed using the I2 statistics. Results: Seven studies were included in the final analysis, including 17,088 ERCPs. The pooled odds ratio (pOR) of success rate, incomplete/failed attempts in the trainee and no trainee groups were 0.466 (95% CI 0.13 to 1.66, I2 = 97.8%, p = 0.239) and 3.2 (95% CI 0.70 to 14.55), I2 = 98.5%, p = 0.134), respectively. The pOR of post-ERCP pancreatitis and bleeding in the trainee vs. no trainee groups was 0.97 (95% CI 0.76 to 1.23, I2 = 0%, p = 0.78) and 1.3 (95% CI 0.59 to 2.83, I2 = 49%, p = 0.54). The pOR of all adverse events in both groups was 1.028 (95% CI 0.917 to 1.152, I2 = 0%, p = 0.636). Surprisingly, the pooled std mean difference for the procedure time was 0.217 (95% − 0.093 to 0.05, I2 = 98.5%, p = 0.17). Conclusion: This meta-analysis comprising of 17,088 ERCPs in seven studies demonstrated comparable ERCP outcomes related to trainee participation regarding success rates, procedure time, and adverse events. Invasive melanoma accounts for only 1% of skin cancer diagnosed but causes most fatalities. It is the most prevalent malignancy diagnosed in the United States. Scientific databases like Pubmed, ScienceDirect, Scopus, and Google Scholar were used to retrieve information on the cytotoxic activity of botanicals and phytochemicals from the flora of Africa toward drug-sensitive and multidrug-resistant (MDR) melanoma cancer cells. This information was further compiled. As a result, botanicals from Piper capense and Callicarpa longissimi as well as 8,8-bis-(dihydroconiferyl)-diferulate (1), licarin A (2), and soyauxinium chloride (3) were the more suitable samples that could be helpful to combat the multidrug resistance of melanoma cell lines. Hepatocarcinoma or hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) accounts for 80% of all adult liver cancers. In the present report, data on the cytotoxicity of African medicinal plants and their phytoconstituents against HCC cell line HepG2 were retrieved from various scientific databases such as PubMed, ScienceDirect, Scopus, Web of Science, and Scholar Google. They were further compiled and ranked according to the established cut-off values for cytotoxic products from a natural source, to identify the potential phytomedicine. A total of 45 active cytotoxic botanicals and 112 phytochemicals are documented. The most active botanicals in HepG2 cells were those from Millettia macrophylla, Elephantopus mollis, Albizia adianthifolia, Curcuma longa, Prosopis farcta, and Gladiolus segetum. The 10 most active phytochemicals against HepG2 were 2-acetyl-7-methoxynaphtho[2,3-b]furan-4,9-quinone (1), plumbagin (2), longistylin A (3), hydnocarpin (4), isotetrandrine (5), canniflavone (6), 3-O-[β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-2)-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-4)-β-D-xylopyranosyl]-2β,3β,16α-trihydroxyolean-12-en-23,28-dioic acid-28-O-α-l-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-4)-α-l-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-2)-β-d-glucopyranosyl-(1-2)-α-l-arabinopyranoside (7), thonningiol (8), 8,8-bis-(dihydroconiferyl)-diferulate (9), isogarcinol (10), and isoxanthochymol (16). Lung cancer (LC) is the leading cause of cancer death, with an estimated 1.8 million deaths, and the second the most diagnosed cancer, with an estimated 2,2 million new cases. Chemotherapy is a major treatment modality in both primary and palliative care of patients with LC. In the present review, scientific databases such as PubMed, Google Scholar, Scopus, ScienceDirect, and Web of Science were used to retrieve data on the cytotoxicity of African medicinal plants and their constituents towards various LC cell lines. As a result, 27 cytotoxic botanicals and 81 phytochemicals were identified. Amongst them, the best crude extracts were from Calotropis procera (Ait.) Ait.f. (Asclepiadaceae), Citrus aurantium L. (Rutaceae), and Kalanchoe crenata (Andrews) Haworth (Crassulaceae). Meanwhile, the best phytochemicals were vernomelitensin (1), plumbagin (2), vernopicrin (3), guieranone A (4), 2α, 3α, 19α,20β, 23-pentahydroxyurs-12-en-28-oic acid (10), seputheisoflavone (11), and abruquinones B (19) and A (20). In the present Chapter, data on the cytotoxic activity of botanicals and phytochemicals from the flora of Africa towards drug sensitive and multidrug-resistant (MDR) leukemia cells were retrieved from scientific databases such as PubMed, ScienceDirect, Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar. Based on the IC50 values recorded in CCRF-CEM cells, we have proposed rationale cut-off point values for the classification of plant-based cytotoxic products. (i) For botanicals [outstanding activity: IC50 ≤ 1 µg/mL, excellent activity: 1 < IC50 ≤ 2 µg/mL, very good activity: 2 < IC50 ≤ 5 µg/mL, good activity: 5 < IC50 ≤ 10 µg/mL, average activity: 10 < IC50 ≤ 15 µg/mL, weak activity: 15 < IC50 ≤ 50 µg/mL, very weak activity: 50 < IC50 ≤ 100 µg/mL, and not active: IC50 values > 100 µg/mL]. (ii) For phytochemicals [outstanding activity: IC50 ≤ 0.5 µM, excellent activity: 0.5 < IC50 ≤ 2 µM, very good activity: 2 < IC50 ≤ 5 µM, good activity: 5 < IC50 ≤ 10 µM, average activity: 10 < IC50 ≤ 20 µM, weak activity: 20 < IC50 ≤ 60 µM, very weak activity: 60 < IC50 ≤ 150 µM, and not active: IC50 > 150 µM]. Using the above established set point values, we have identified the best botanicals as those from Psydium guajava, Dichrostachys cinerea, Zingiber officinale, Curcuma longa, Piper capense, Imperata cylindrica, and P. undulata, and the best phytochemicals as 16β-formyloxymelianthugenin (1), 2β-acetoxy-3, 5-di-O-acetylhellebrigenin (2), 2β-acetoxy-5β-O-acetylhellebrigenin (4), 2β-Hydroxy-3β,5β-di-O-acetylhellebrigenin (5), 2α-hydroxyalantolactone (8), β-acetoxymelianthusigenin (16), hydnocarpin (39), 3,3′ -di-O-methylquercetin-4′ -O-β-D-glucoside (48), 4-hydroxylonchocarpin (49), and arborinine (50). Breast cancer (BRCA) is the leading type of cancer in women, accounting for 25% of all cases. However, drug resistance occurs in all types of BRCA regardless of the treatment. In the present Chapter, data on the cytotoxic activity of botanicals and phytochemicals from the flora of Africa towards drug sensitive and multidrug-resistant BRCA cells were retrieved from scientific databases such as PubMed, ScienceDirect, Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar and compiled. The cell lines used for the search included the triple-negative MDA-MB-231-pcDNA cell line and its MDR counterpart MDA-MB-231-BCRP, and MCF-7 cell line. The more suitable samples identified that could be useful to fight the multidrug resistance of BRCA cell lines include the botanical from Echinops giganteus, 8,8-bis-(dihydroconiferyl)-diferulate (6), ungeremine (9), nitidine chloride (10), isotetrandrine (11), arborinine (12), isoxanthochymol (19), cudraxanthone I (21), and betulin (22). Objective: To determine if and which types of organisational interventions conducted in small and medium size enterprises (SMEs) in healthcare are effective on mental health and wellbeing. Methods: Following PRISMA guidelines, we searched six scientific databases, assessed the methodological quality of eligible studies using QATQS and grouped them into six organisational intervention types for narrative synthesis. Only controlled studies with at least one follow-up were eligible. Results: We identified 22 studies (23 articles) mainly conducted in hospitals with 16 studies rated of strong or moderate methodological quality. More than two thirds (68%) of the studies reported improvements in at least one primary outcome (mental wellbeing, burnout, stress, symptoms of depression or anxiety), most consistently in burnout with eleven out of thirteen studies. We found a strong level of evidence for the intervention type "Job and task modifications" and a moderate level of evidence for the types "Flexible work and scheduling" and "Changes in the physical work environment". For all other types, the level of evidence was insufficient. We found no studies conducted with an independent SME, however five studies with SMEs attached to a larger organisational structure. The effectiveness of workplace mental health interventions in these SMEs was mixed. Conclusion: Organisational interventions in healthcare workers can be effective in improving mental health, especially in reducing burnout. Intervention types where the change in the work environment constitutes the intervention had the highest level of evidence. Purpose: Genetic factors are important in terms of athletic performance. Recent studies to determine the relationship between the genes that lead to physiological responses have attracted attention. In this respect, this meta-analysis study was designed to examine the relationship between genetic polymorphism (BDKRB2 rs5810761, GNB3 rs5443, HIF1A rs11549565, MCT1 rs1049434, NOS3 rs2070744) and endurance athlete's status. Methods: The search included studies published from 2009 to 2022. To determine the relevant studies, Pubmed, Web of Science databases were systematically scanned. Only case-control studies were included in the meta-analysis. To determine the relevant studies, Pubmed, Web of Science databases were systematically scanned, and a total of 31 studies met the criteria for inclusion in the meta-analysis. Relevant data from the included studies were collected and analyzed using a random effects or fixed effects model. The effect size was calculated as the odds ratio or a risk ratio the corresponding 95% confidence intervals. Results: According to the results of the analysis, BDKRB2 rs5810761 + 9 allele, and NOS3 rs2070744 T allele were significantly more prevalent in endurance athletes (p < 0.05). Genotype distributions of BDKRB2 rs5810761, MCT1 rs1049434, and NOS3 rs2070744 showed significant differences in the dominant model (p < 0.05). However, no significant association was found between endurance athlete status and GNB3 rs5443 and HIF1A rs11549465 polymorphisms. Conclusion: These results show that some gene polymorphisms play an important role in endurance athlete status and suggest that having a specific genetic basis may also confer a physiological advantage for performance. OBJECTIVE: Epidermolysis bullosa acquisita (EBA) is a rare dermatosis of the mucous membrane and/or skin. Employing biologic treatment modalities, specifically rituximab (RTX), have become pivotal measure in treating patients with blistering diseases. This study aims to summarize the current evidence on the safety and efficacy of RTX in EBA. METHODS: An extensive search was performed in MEDLINE/PubMed, Embase, Scopus, and Web of Science databases until the end of August 19th, 2023. Two independent reviewers screened the papers, and collected data. Two hundred thirty-three studies were screened using Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses guidelines. RESULTS: Thirty-one studies were enrolled. The most common reason of RTX administration in patients with EBA was recalcitrant diseases. Clinical response and disease remission was recorded as 92.7 percent (63 patients) and 73.8 percent (45 patients) of the patients, respectively. A relapse rate of 39.5 percent (15 patients) in the mean follow-up of 23.0 months was reported in the studies. Of the patients, 28.2 percent (11 patients) experienced RTX-related side events, mostly mild and transient infusion reactions. CONCLUSION: The results of this systematic review demonstrated that RTX is safe and effective in patients with EBA. This biological treatment modality can be routinely used in managing EBA. In Europe, gambling policy is conditioned by different administrative levels, including national authorities and the EU, as well as institutions of the European Economic Area (EEA). The legal framework of the EU/EEA requires Member States to pursue evidence‐based policy. The current scoping review focuses on what kind of policy research is available on gambling in the European context to support evidence‐based policy. We searched three scientific databases for research literature on gambling regulation and policy in the European context. The final sample consists of 88 papers. We analysed the corpus with Term Frequency‐Inverse Document Frequency mapping, and, narratively, by applying the policy cycle phases (agenda‐setting, formulation, adoption, implementation, and evaluation). Overall, the results show that gambling policy research is a growing field in Europe, and the policy cycle describes the available literature amply. The largest part of the existing research concerns the evaluation phase, while the formulation and implementation phases are under‐represented. The purpose of this paper is to present how data mining (DM) and machine learning (ML) contribute to the product development process (PDP). The Methodi Ordinatio methodology was used to identify important articles for this study, and VOSviewer software was applied to generate visual maps. A systematic review was conducted on the Web of Science, Scopus and Science Direct databases. Forty-six articles were designated for analysis in order to evaluate the most commonly used DM and ML techniques to support the PDP, as well as to demonstrate which specific phases are most often applied. In addition, the main limitations of the analyzed techniques were identified. The results show that the association rule technique was the most commonly used, followed by text mining, and the most used phases were planning and design. In this context, this study intends to stimulate companies to use computational techniques, more precisely DM and ML, to assist in the generation of knowledge and become a strategic factor in the PDP. • EEG research in Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) and Long COVID helps understand their dominant symptoms. • Fibromyalgia Syndrome and ME/CFS present differing EEG brainwave activity patterns. • EEG research in Long COVID shows mixed results so far and needs further investigations taking account of Long COVID phenotypes. Fibromyalgia Syndrome (FMS), Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) and Long COVID (LC) are similar multisymptom clinical syndromes but with difference in dominant symptoms in each individual. There is existing and emerging literature on possible functional alterations of the central nervous system in these conditions. This review aims to synthesise and appraise the literature on resting-state quantitative EEG (qEEG) in FMS, ME/CFS and LC, drawing on previous research on FMS and ME/CFS to help understand neuropathophysiology of the new condition LC. A systematic search of MEDLINE, Embase, CINHAL, PsycINFO and Web of Science databases for articles published between December 1994 and September 2023 was performed. Out of the initial 2510 studies identified, 17 articles were retrieved that met all the predetermined selection criteria, particularly of assessing qEEG changes in one of the three conditions compared to healthy controls. All studies scored moderate to high quality on the Newcastle-Ottawa scale. There was a general trend for decreased low-frequency EEG band activity (delta, theta, and alpha) and increased high-frequency EEG beta activity in FMS, differing to that found in ME/CFS. The limited LC studies included in this review focused mainly on cognitive impairments and showed mixed findings not consistent with patterns observed in FMS and ME/CFS. Our findings suggest different patterns of qEEG brainwave activity in FMS and ME/CFS. Further research is required to explore whether there are phenotypes within LC that have EEG signatures similar to FMS or ME/CFS. Context: Despite the roots of stereotypic patterns as motor behavior and pointing out some prevalent motor impairments in children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), the assessment of motor development impairments as an introduction to the incidence of early symptoms of ASD has still been overlooked. Therefore, the present systematic review aims to assess the relationship between motor impairments and autism symptoms. Evidence Acquisition: The PubMed, Scopus, ProQuest, Google Scholar, and Web of Science databases were searched by two individuals separately using the following keywords: Autism spectrum disorder, Motor impairment, Motor delay, Fundamental movements (jumping, hopping, bounding, manipulating, chewing, and reaching objects), Gross and fine movements, Diagnosis, and Behavioral symptoms. The searches were performed within 2000 and April 2022. Results: After completing the search process, a number of 17 articles were entered into the study based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The articles were of low to moderate quality. Given the performed assessments, there is a significant relationship between motor impairments and behavioral symptoms in children with ASD. Conclusions: According to the present information, it can be concluded that motor impairment is possibly associated with the behavioral symptoms of ASD. This study aims to do a bibliometric analysis of the literature available on the organic menu at a restaurant to extract insights into the study area and provide direction for future research. Fifty-nine documents were extracted using the Scopus scientific database published in the restaurant's organic menu area. VOSviewer and R-based Bibliometric software have been used for conducting bibliometric analysis. The trending themes are food aesthetics, alternative food networks, food quality, sustainability and acceptability. The four clusters identified in the organic menu literature identified the behavioral intention of consumers, sustainable development, marketing management and procurement of organic food for the restaurant. The study will first conduct a bibliometric analysis to discover the trending themes and clusters in the organic menu literature. Based on the review, the customer organic menu adoption framework has been developed to understand the study topic better. The study's findings will help managers and practitioners easily understand the trend in the literature on organic menus at the restaurant, which will help formulate marketing strategies and policies. Many animal life-history stages center around residences (nests, roosts, etc.) where the availability of resources within an optimal range can affect fitness. Understanding factors influencing residence selection is fundamental for efficient management or recovery plans. Many bat species use permanent roosts during different periods of the year, and while most conservation plans aim to protect these roosts, the availability of suitable habitat near the roosts (e.g., foraging habitat) is also critical to consider. We evaluated the importance of landscape features at multiple scales surrounding seasonal bat roosts in two regions (north and south) of Québec (Canada), using data from participatory science and government databases. In the human-altered environment of south Québec, bats selected maternity roosts with high anthropogenic cover and water edge density at the 150 m and 2 km scales, respectively. Conversely, roost selection in north Québec, a forested area, could not be explained by any landscape features. In winter, fewer bats used hibernacula located in heavily human-modified landscapes—opposite to the trend observed with maternity roost selection. Mood disorders affect over 300 million individuals worldwide, often characterized by their chronic and refractory nature, posing significant threats to patient life. There has been a notable increase in mood disorders among American adolescents and young adults, with a rising number of suicide attempts and fatalities, highlighting a growing association between mood disorders and suicidal outcomes. Dysregulation within the neuroimmune–endocrine system is now recognized as one of the fundamental biological mechanisms underlying mood and mood disorders. Lysophosphatidic acid (LPA), a novel mediator of mood behavior, induces anxiety-like and depression-like phenotypes through its receptors LPA1 and LPA5, regulating synaptic neurotransmission and plasticity. Consequently, LPA has garnered substantial interest in the study of mood regulation. This study aimed to elucidate the molecular mechanisms of lysophosphatidic acid and its receptors, along with LPA receptor ligands, in mood regulation and to explore their potential therapeutic efficacy in treating mood disorders. A comprehensive literature search was conducted using the PubMed and Web of Science databases, identifying 208 articles through keyword searches up to June 2024. After excluding duplicates, irrelevant publications, and those restricted by open access limitations, 21 scientific papers were included in this review. The findings indicate that LPA/LPA receptor modulation could be beneficial in treating mood disorders, suggesting that pharmacological agents or gintonin, an extract from ginseng, may serve as effective therapeutic strategies. This study opens new avenues for future research into how lysophosphatidic acid and its receptors, as well as lysophosphatidic acid receptor ligands, influence emotional behavior in animals and humans. Background: Ketamine, as an anesthetic, has been considered for terminating status epilepticus (SE); however, due to the urgency and severity of the condition, there are currently no randomized controlled trials internationally assessing the efficacy of ketamine for treating super-refractory status epilepticus. Similarly, there appears to be a lack of systematic reviews addressing this topic in the literature. Therefore, this systematic review aims to explore the effectiveness and safety of ketamine for terminating super-refractory status epilepticus. Methods: We conducted a systematic search on PubMed, EMBASE, and Web of Science databases. Manuscripts unrelated to the research on super-refractory status epilepticus were excluded, as were manuscripts published in non-English languages. The quality assessment and risk of bias were evaluated using the MINORS criteria. Data extraction was limited to qualitative synthesis due to the unsuitability of the data for meta-analysis. Results: Out of 782 studies retrieved from electronic databases, 11 met the inclusion criteria. Among them, 10 studies were retrospective, and 1 study was prospective. Patient data for inclusion were sourced from the case registries of the researchers' respective hospitals. Across all included studies, the administration of ketamine significantly reduced the duration of status epilepticus and demonstrated higher safety compared to patients not receiving ketamine treatment for super-refractory status epilepticus. Additionally, early administration of ketamine correlated with improved treatment outcomes. The risk of bias across all studies was deemed low. Conclusion: This systematic review suggests that ketamine may be a feasible treatment option for super-refractory status epilepticus. However, given the critical nature of super-refractory status epilepticus, clinicians should prioritize its termination over evaluating the efficacy of specific medications, ensuring patient safety remains paramount. If feasible in real-world medical settings, future research should focus on designing randomized controlled trials to observe the specific efficacy and mechanisms of ketamine. Background: Endoxifen, a protein kinase C inhibitor and selective estrogen receptor modulator, primarily used in breast cancer treatment, has recently emerged as a potential therapeutic option for managing manic episodes associated with bipolar disorder (BD). This review aims to assess the existing evidence base for endoxifen in BD treatment and evaluate the strengths and limitations of current research findings. Methods: A systematic search was conducted on Medline, Embase, and Web of Science databases. We included studies published in English that used endoxifen in BD, alongside any relevant studies identified through manual searching and conference papers with full‐text availability. Information pertaining to dose, duration, clinical effects, and safety profiles was extracted from the included studies. The Cochrane Risk of Bias 2 tool was used to assess the risk of bias in clinical trials. Results: The final review included seven case reports (including two conference presentations), two clinical trials, and one prospective study. Most studies administered endoxifen 8 mg and reported an improvement in manic symptoms. Several case reports included patients with comorbid substance use, and most patients received mood stabilizers concurrently. Few reports lacked any structured outcome measures. The clinical trials used divalproex 1000 mg as an active comparator, which was deemed sub‐therapeutic. Despite being multicentric, the first trial lacked data on center‐wise recruitment, and certain methodological concerns were observed across the included trials. There were no serious adverse effects noted, except for a significant elevation in lipid profile within a 3‐week period. Limited data were available regarding endoxifen efficacy and safety in mixed episodes, depressive episodes, and maintenance treatment. Conclusion: There is a paucity of research on the efficacy and safety of endoxifen in BD. While existing evidence suggests short‐term efficacy in manic episodes, significant limitations were identified in most of the included studies. Molecular imaging modalities show valuable non-invasive techniques capable of precisely and selectively addressing molecular markers associated with prostate cancer (PCa). This systematic review provides an overview of imaging markers utilized in positron emission tomography (PET) methods, specifically focusing on the pathways and mediators involved in PCa. This systematic review aims to evaluate and analyse existing literature on the diagnostic accuracy of molecular imaging techniques for detecting PCa. The PubMed, EBSCO, ScienceDirect, and Web of Science databases were searched, identifying 32 studies that reported molecular imaging modalities for detecting PCa. Numerous imaging modalities and radiotracers were used to detect PCa, including 68Ga-prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) PET/computed tomography (CT), 68Ga-PSMA-11 PET/magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), 18F-PSMA-1007 PET/CT, 18F-DCFPyL PET/MRI, 18F-choline PET/MRI, and 18F-fluoroethylcholine PET/MRI. Across 11 studies, radiolabelled 68Ga-PSMA PET/CT imaging had a pooled sensitivity of 80 (95% confidence interval [CI]: 35–93), specificity of 90 (95% CI: 71–98), and accuracy of 86 (95% CI: 64–96). Doxorubicin (DOX) is an anthracycline anticancer agent that is highly effective in the treatment of solid tumors. Given the multiplicity of mechanisms involved in doxorubicin-induced cardiotoxicity, it is difficult to identify a precise molecular target for toxicity. The findings of a literature review suggest that natural products may offer cardioprotective benefits against doxorubicin-induced cardiotoxicity, both in vitro and in vivo. However, further confirmatory studies are required to substantiate this claim. It is of the utmost importance to direct greater attention towards the intricate signaling networks that are of paramount importance for the survival and dysfunction of cardiomyocytes. Notwithstanding encouraging progress made in preclinical studies of natural products for the prevention of DOX-induced cardiotoxicity, these have not yet been translated for clinical use. One of the most significant obstacles hindering the development of cardioprotective adjuvants based on natural products is the lack of adequate bioavailability in humans. This review presents an overview of current knowledge on doxorubicin DOX-induced cardiotoxicity, with a focus on the potential benefits of natural compounds and herbal preparations in preventing this adverse effect. Objective: Periodontitis is a type of prevalent chronic inflammatory disorder resulting in a failure in the function of tissues supporting the tooth, like gingiva, alveolar bone, and periodontal ligament. Although antibiotic therapy is a common therapy for periodontitis cases, this approach can cause some adverse effects in these patients. Thus, finding an effective curative option with low side effects is still a puzzle. Materials and Methods: This narrative review was conducted on the effects of herbal and nano-based herbal medicine against periodontitis by searching different databases such as Google Scholar, PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, Science Direct, and Scientific Information Databases. Results: According to published studies, some popular herbal formulations, such as Aloe vera, curcumin, Melaleuca alternifolia, and Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi, can be effective in periodontitis treatment. However, these herbal products may be accompanied by some pharmacological limitations, such as poor bioavailability, instability, and weak water solubility. On the other hand, harnessing nano-based herbal formulations can elevate the bioavailability, diminish toxicity, and omit repeated administration of drugs. BACKGROUND: Global population aging has sparked research into frailty and falls given their impact on older adults. This study provides a bibliometric analysis of frailty and fall literature to identify publication trends, leading contributors, impactful works, and conceptual themes. METHODS: Frailty and fall publications were retrieved from Scopus and Web of Science databases without date restrictions. Data was analyzed using ScientoPy, and VOSviewer to generate statistics, visualizations, and maps based on temporality, productive countries, institutions, citations, subject categories, and keyword occurrences. RESULTS: After pre-processing, 345 publications remained (84.6% Web of Science, 15.4% Scopus). The literature has grown steadily since 1990, led by the United States, China, and Japan. Prolific institutions were identified, including Pittsburgh University. Highly cited impactful studies were published across journals like the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society. Geriatrics/gerontology was the dominant subject category. Keyword co-occurrence analysis revealed clusters focusing on geriatric physical health, cardiovascular health, cognition, interventions, and mortality. CONCLUSIONS: This bibliometric analysis synthesizes a comprehensive overview of frailty and fall research, identifying rising publication and citation trends, leading global contributors, impactful studies, and thematic focuses. The findings can inform resource allocation, international collaboration, impactful evidence utilization, and future research planning to advance frailty science and clinical care for older populations. Background and Objectives: Probability discounting (PD), which refers to the process of adjusting the value of future probabilities when making decisions, is a method of measuring impulsive decision‐making; however, the relationship between PD and nicotine remains unclear. The current study aimed at investigating the significance of PD in individuals who smoke. Methods: According to Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta‐Analyses guidelines, we searched the PubMed, Embase, PsycINFO, and Web of Science databases for articles comparing individuals who smoke and their tobacco‐naïve controls using PD task as outcome measure from inception to May 2023. The main outcome was an overall difference in PD function, while subgroup analysis and meta‐regression were conducted to examine the analysis methods and the moderators of PD. Results: Fourteen studies in total involving 384 individuals who smoke and 493 controls (mean age = 24.32 years, range = 15.1–38.05 years) were analyzed. The effect of smoking on PD was significant (g = 0.51, p =.02). The discounting parameter from the equation, compared to the area under the curve, was more sensitive to estimating PD function (p =.01). Regression analysis showed positive correlations of PD with female percentage, age, and the number of probability options (all p <.04), but not with the number of choices at each probability and maximum reward magnitude (all p >.07). There was no significant publication bias across the eligible studies (p =.09). Conclusion and Scientific Significance: Our findings, which are the first to demonstrate a smaller PD (i.e., prone to risk‐taking) in individuals who smoke, shed light on the appropriate analysis method, gender effect, age, and probability options on the PD function. Purpose: This study aims to investigate the scientific impact of additive manufacturing in recent years, considering its evolution as an Industry 4.0 technology and also in the current context of Industry 5.0. For this aim, advanced statistics and scientometric tools have been used. Design/methodology/approach: This study aims to explore the trends and impacts of additive manufacturing, focusing on its evolution and its relationship with Industry 4.0 and 5.0. For this purpose, a scientometric study and a meta-analysis of data extracted from the scientific Scopus database have been carried out. R programming and specific bibliometric software have been used to conduct the research. Initially, the data were evaluated from various perspectives, including sources, topics and impact indexes, to assess trends derived from the volume of publications, the impact of sources and affiliations, as well as the production segmented by country and the relationships between authors from different countries. Subsequently, a meta-analysis on keywords has been carried out using two distinct clustering methodologies: link strength and fractionalization. The results obtained were compared to establish a specific taxonomy of the AM subtopics, considering AM as a single body of knowledge related to Industries 4.0 and 5.0 paradigms. The analyses carried out have shown the impact and strong evolution of additive manufacturing as a field of knowledge at the world level, both from the point of view of manufacturing processes and from the point of view of materials science. In addition, some differences have been detected depending on the country. As a result of the meta-analysis, four different subtopics have been detected, some of which are highly related to other technologies and approaches in Industries 4.0 and 5.0 paradigms. Additionally, it establishes a comprehensive taxonomy for AM research, serving as a foundational reference for future studies aimed at exploring the evolution and transformative impact of this technology. Findings: The analyses carried out have shown the impact and strong evolution of additive manufacturing as a field of knowledge at the world level, both from the point of view of manufacturing processes and from the point of view of materials science. High-throughput omics technologies have become valuable tools for systems science research and clinical management of sepsis. This article analyzes sepsis research using omics technologies in the European Union (EU) and the United Kingdom from 1990 to May 2023 using bibliometric data from the Web of Science database. Using VOSviewer for network analysis, we examined the distribution patterns, funding characteristics, and collaborations among the states, noting trends of convergence and divergence. The analysis included 2078 articles, revealing an increasing rate of publications on sepsis research using omics approaches. The United Kingdom's research output is notably high, contributing 28.3% of the total research from the EU and United Kingdom combined. Germany, France, the Netherlands, and Italy together account for 56.9% of the publications from the EU member states. The United States is the leading international collaborator, particularly with the United Kingdom, followed by Germany and France. The EU-15 countries have significantly more publication outputs in this domain with growing but limited inclusion of the newer members of the EU. We suggest that the role of EU member states and the United Kingdom in sepsis research using omics technologies can be advanced by facilitating high-value, technology-driven health research, fostering collaboration, convergence, and equity in global health and biomedical research. Since the discovery of the first Gastrotricha at the end of the eighteenth century, the study of this taxon has proven to be notoriously difficult due to the fragility of the body and its diminutive size. Consequently, this microinvertebrates group is considered part of the less-known metazoan taxa and its biodiversity knowledge is still far from being understood. To bring light to the past, present, and future understanding of Gastrotricha biodiversity literature, we conducted the first study aimed to quantitatively and qualitatively evaluating the global research productivity on this clade by carrying out a bibliographic survey in Web of Science and Scopus databases using bibliometric tools. We found 523 studies published between 1904 and 2022 and detected i) a high prevalence of "new species" as a keyword in the literature, indicating the youth of our knowledge on biodiversity of this phylum; ii) the formation of clusters of interacting researchers around well-established veterans' researchers in Europe; but also, iii) the formation of new research centers training new researchers in recent decades around the world. However, we also found that there are gaps in the accessibility of past literature in the main search tools. We believe that it is time to explore new facets of Gastrotricha research and we hope that our study can provide a guide for future research development to shape more effective policies for biodiversity discovery and conservation initiatives. Huge (>10 cm) hepatocellular carcinoma is burdened by elevated mortality due to its peculiar characteristics and delayed diagnosis. Liver resection is considered the gold standard although survival is poor. Recently, some different strategies have been evaluated to improve results in tumor recurrence and survival. The aim of this research is to identify which strategy offers the best results in terms of overall survival for resectable huge hepatocellular carcinoma. A systematic review and network meta-analysis of 13 studies was conducted from PubMed, Embase, Scopus, Cochrane Library, and Web of Science databases including research comparing two or more treatments to manage huge hepatocellular carcinoma. Results were synthesized through forest plots and risk of bias assessed with the CINeMA framework as recommended. The association of liver resection and transcatheter arterial chemoembolization confers a significant improvement in survival compared to liver resection alone (HR: 0.55) while transcatheter arterial chemoembolization, radioembolization, and ethanol ablation alone were associated to decreased overall survival. Within-study bias, indirectness and incoherence were the domains mainly affected by concerns in risk of bias analysis. Multimodal treatment including liver resection and transcatheter arterial chemoembolization increases survival in patients with resectable huge hepatocellular carcinoma. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Cancer genomic services (CGS) can support genetic risk‐stratified cancer prevention and treatment. Racial/ethnic minority groups are less likely to access and utilize CGS compared with non‐Hispanic Whites. Little research has described characteristics of interventions targeted at CGS among Latinos. This scoping review aimed to (1) describe interventions promoting uptake of CGS among Latinos in the United States and Latin America, (2) describe intervention adaptations for Latino participants, and (3) summarize intervention implementation factors suggested by reach, effectiveness, adoption, implementation, and maintenance (RE‐AIM) framework. We conducted a search in English and Spanish of literature published between 2005 and 2022 across PubMed and Latin American and Caribbean Health Sciences Literature databases. Sixteen of 2344 papers met the inclusion criteria of the analysis. Efforts to promote CGS among Latino communities were limited in the US and lower in Latin America. This review highlights the need for in‐depth exploration of acculturation‐informed interventions and better reporting on implementation factors to enhance their scalability across diverse settings. This systematic review aimed to compare reciprocating with continuous rotary instrumentation kinematics, by means of microcomputed tomography evaluations, in extracted human permanent teeth with moderate and severe canal curvatures. The research protocol was registered in the International Prospective Register of Systematic Reviews and given the reference number CRD42023404035. An electronic search was undertaken in MEDLINE (PubMed), EBSCO, Scopus, Web of Science databases until December 2021. Manual screening of issues in endodontic journals and references of relevant articles were assessed individually. The risk of bias (RoB) of the included articles was evaluated with the QUIN tool (Quality Assessment Tool for In Vitro Studies). Among 1640 retrieved articles, 49 were included in the qualitative synthesis. Fifteen articles had low RoB, 33 articles had medium RoB, and only 1 study was at high RoB. Continuous rotary systems had better centering ability in both moderate and severe canal curvatures and resulted in less apical transportation in severely curved root canals. None of the kinematic systems was capable of instrumenting the entire canal surface area. Reciprocating kinematics systems tended to provide higher increase in surface area of severely curved canals and produced fewer dentinal microcracks in moderately curved canals. The evidence presented in this review suggests that continuous rotary system seems to be better than reciprocating system in solving the major issues encountered during root canal instrumentation of extracted teeth with moderate and severe curvatures. Objective: Based on network meta-analysis, the efficacy of different Chinese herbal decoction in the treatment of adult severe pneumonia was evaluated. Methods: Computer search of CNKI, VIP, Wangfang, Cochrane Library, Embase, PubMed, Web of science databases. randomized controlled trials (RCT) on TCM decoction for severe pneumonia in adults were collected up to July 31, 2023. The Cochrane bias risk assessment tool was used to assess the quality of the included literature, and Stata17.0 software was used to perform a network meta-analysis based on the frequency framework. Results: Finally, 40 RCTs were included, involving 13 traditional Chinese medicines and 3 773 patients. The results of network meta-analysis showed that Maxingshigan Decoction combined with QianjinWeijian Decoction + Western medicine routine may be the most effective intervention in improving clinical efficacy, QingfeiTongfu Decoction + Western medicine routine may be the most effective in improving CRP, QingjinHuatan decoction + Western medicine routine may be the most effective in improving IL-6 and TNF-α. Maxingshigan Decoction + Western medicine routine may be the most effective in improving PCT, Xuanbai Chengqi decoction + Western medicine routine may be the most effective in improving APACHE II and CPIS. Conclusion: The curative effect of TCM decoction combined with conventional western medicine on adult severe pneumonia is better than that of conventional Western medicine and the adverse reaction is less. Aim: The use of crowns made of all-ceramic, metal-ceramic, or porcelain fused to metal (PFM) with a self-adhesive resin cement as an indirect restorative process is a method of indirect restorative. The cement is anticipated to improve survival rates due to its many benefits. Thus, this research aimed to ascertain how long self-adhesive resin cement will last when applied to different types of crown materials. Materials and Methods: The study used a scoping review methodology that followed a Population, Concept, and Context framework. The articles included were published from January 1, 2013, to May 24, 2023, full-text, full-access, written in English, original article study design (clinical studies, observational studies, follow-up case reports, and comparative studies), and in vivo method. Boolean operators were applied to search across the databases Science Direct, PubMed, and EBSCOhost with the corresponding keywords “((survival rate) OR (success rate) AND (adhesive resin cement) AND (crown)).” Since Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta-Analyses extension for Scoping Reviews (PRISMA-ScR) was implemented as the study design, it did not include randomization or statistical analysis. However, we added bias-risk information. Results: There were 104 studies in total. After the duplication checking and abstract screening processes, 23 articles were provided. A full-text assessment was done, and seven articles were extracted. Additionally, information about the author, publication year, study design, research methodology, selfadhesive resin cement brand, crown material, research duration, and outcomes was gathered. Conclusions: The results concluded that the self-adhesive resin cement survival rate on various crown materials, both all-ceramic and PFM, within 6 years is excellent. Rapid urbanization has introduced new pollution challenges, with visual pollution becoming particularly prominent. This type of pollution affects both the visual environment and public psychology, impairing aesthetic appreciation. Visual pollution extends beyond outdoor advertising, manifesting in various forms across urban, roadway, and natural areas. Although many studies have identified and analyzed visual pollution, there is still a lack of comprehensive knowledge and awareness of this problem. Until now, visual pollution has never been a unified and complete concept, definition, and research methodology. To address this gap, our systematic literature review examined existing literature to further explore and understand visual pollution. We systematically reviewed research articles published between 2008 and 2023, utilizing three journal databases: Web of Science, Scopus, and Google Scholar. Ultimately, 52 articles met the review criteria. The results of the study showed the types and characteristics of visual pollutants, the locations where visual pollution occurs, the various factors contributing to visual pollution, and the methodologies employed to study visual pollution. This study enhances professionals' comprehension of visual pollution and its effects on the visual environment, equipping them to implement effective measures to reduce its impact and preserve visual quality in both urban and natural areas. Objectives: This systematic review and meta-analysis examined whether the lymphocyte-to-monocyte ratio (LMR) can serve as an indicator for predicting the prognosis of patients with resectable pancreatic cancer. Patients and Methods: This meta-analysis was registered with PROSPERO: CRD42023461260. A systematic literature search was conducted in the PubMed, Embase, Cochrane, and Web of Science databases up to September 2023 to assess whether LMR can predict the prognosis of patients with resectable pancreatic cancer. The outcomes measured included subgroup analyses of overall survival (OS) with hazard ratios (HR) and confidence intervals of geographical region, patient population, and LMR threshold. A sensitivity analysis was also performed for OS and HR and confidence intervals were calculated for recurrence-free survival (RFS). Results: A total of 14 eligible articles, comprising 4,019 patients, were included in the comprehensive analysis. The results of this comprehensive analysis indicate that LMR is a robust predictor of OS, demonstrating strong prognostic significance (HR = 0.55, 95% CI [0.44–0.69], I2 = 79%, P < 0.00001). This predictive significance extended to various types of pancreatic cancer, such as pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (HR = 0.73, 95% CI [0.57–0.93], I2 = 46%, P = 0.01), pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (HR = 0.81, 95% CI [0.66–0.99], P = 0.04) and other subtypes (HR = 0.40, 95% CI [0.22–0.72], I2 = 89%, P < 0.00001), but not to pancreatic head cancer (HR = 0.46, 95% CI [0.16–1.13], I2 = 59%, P = 0.12). LMR retained its predictive value across different regions, including Asia (HR = 0.62, 95% CI [0.47–0.76], I2 = 68%, P < 0.0001), Europe (HR = 0.78, 95% CI [0.67–0.91], I2 = 0%, P = 0.002), and the Americas (HR = 0.14, 95% CI [0.08–0.24], I2 = 0%, P < 0.00001). Notably, both LMR cut-off values greater than or equal to three (HR = 0.62, 95% CI [0.47–0.82], I2 = 67%, P = 0.0009) and less than three (HR = 0.47, 95% CI [0.32–0.69], I2 = 85%, P = 0.0001) exhibited prognostic significance. The sensitivity analysis for OS confirmed the strong predictive value of LMR, whereas LMR did not exhibit predictive significance for RFS (HR = 0.35, 95% CI [0.09–1.32], I2 = 95%, P = 0.12). In both subgroups categorized by Newcastle-Ottawa Scale (NOS) scores of ≥7 (HR = 0.66, 95% CI [0.54–0.80], I2 = 53%, P = 0.04) and <7 (HR = 0.41, CI [0.23–0.72], I2 = 89%, P < 0.00001), LMR was demonstrated to have predictive value. Conclusion: Despite the observed heterogeneity and potential biases in the included studies, the findings of this study suggest that LMR may serve as a valuable predictor of OS in patients with resectable pancreatic cancer. Ethical food consumption has gained significant attention in the past years, reflecting a societal shift towards ethical behavior. Our study examines the evolution of ethical food consumption research over the past three decades, aiming to map its transformation. We identified key trends, influential contributors, and major thematic clusters through a bibliometric analysis, employing VOSviewer (v.1.6.18) for bibliometric visualization, focusing on citation networks and keyword o-occurrences to reveal the field's structure and dynamics. We made extensive use of the Web of Science database, where we selected 1096 relevant articles and review papers. Our analysis shows a notable rise in publications starting in 2005, with a peak in 2022, indicating increased scholarly interest in the topic. The findings underscore the importance of integrating empathy and human values into ethical food consumption, highlighting the critical roles of animal welfare, sustainability, and social justice. Despite a strong pro-ethical attitude among consumers, a significant "attitude-behavior gap" persists, emphasizing the need for strategies that bridge this divide. Our results emphasize the importance of interdisciplinary efforts to align ethical practices with broader societal goals, offering valuable insights for future research and policy-making to promote sustainable and ethical food consumption worldwide. Projects work under constant pressure of resource and time constraints. In order to perform effectively and efficiently, innovation seems to be a significant factor. However, due to the different nature of projects as compared to the organization, projects have been finding it difficult to undertake such innovation. However, ambidextrous innovation, which seeks to balance exploratory and exploitative innovation, offers a possible solution. However, research on the relationship between ambidextrous innovation and project management is at an early stage. The purpose of the present research is to undertake a systematic review of the literature to build and synthesize the understanding of innovation ambidexterity at the project level. Following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta Analysis (PRISMA) guidelines, our research collected data from the Web of Science and SCOPUS databases. By adhering to the PRISMA approach, we ensured a rigorous and transparent approach to the systematic review study, allowing for comprehensive data collection and analysis. The results of the present review study suggest that interest is building rapidly to incorporate ambidextrous innovation into project management. Ambidextrous innovation seemed to positively impact both the performance and capability of projects to undertake the innovation. Further, important drivers such as organizational culture, knowledge management, innovation activities, and agility play key roles in undertaking ambidextrous innovation at the project level. Further, elements of the team such as team integration, alignment, and knowledge utilization also play key roles. Finally, the avenue of future research has also been highlighted. The aim of this systematic review and meta-analysis (SRM) was to evaluate whether bioceramic sealers have better penetration capacity in dentinal tubules and antimicrobial activity when compared to AH Plus® sealer. This SRM was recorded in the Open Science Framework database and followed the guidelines of the PRISMA 2020. Five databases were searched by two independent reviewers. Only in vitro studies that evaluated the effects of bioceramic sealers on dentinal tubule penetration and antimicrobial activity outcomes compared to AH Plus® sealer were included. Meta-analysis was conducted using R software, using the effect measure of the standardized mean difference (SMD) and inverse variance method. A modified Joanna Briggs Institute's Checklist was used for the risk of bias assessment. A total of 1486 studies were identified, and only 54 studies that fulfilled our eligibility criteria were included in this review. There was no statistical difference between the sealers evaluated for dentinal tubule penetration, in the thirds evaluated: coronal SMD 0.58 [0.14; 1.31], p = 0.12; middle SMD 0.07 [0.54; 0.39], p = 0.75; and apical SMD 0.08 [0.73; 0.56], p = 0.80. Both sealers demonstrated similar antimicrobial action (SMD [3.42; 5.32], p = 0.67 and SMD 0.67 [1.89; 0.55], p = 0.28). The studies presented a low risk of bias. Based on the in vitro studies included and according to the limitations of the present review, the data suggest that bioceramic and AH Plus® sealers present similar penetration capacity in dentinal tubules and antimicrobial effect, making them suitable materials to be considered in clinical practice. Despite the success of monolithic zirconia restorations (MZ), metal-ceramic restorations (MC) are still considered the gold standard for fixed prosthetics in the posterior region. This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to compare the fracture strengths of single-unit MC and MZ in the molar region. This review was based on the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA, 2020) statement. All articles were searched from the PubMed and Web of Science databases until November 18, 2022. All in vitro studies evaluating the fracture strengths of MC and MZ were also included. Statistical analysis was performed with the Comprehensive Meta-Analysis program, with a significance level of 0.05. Out of 753 studies, five were selected. The fracture strengths of MZ and MC did not show any statistically significant difference for both tooth (95% CI − 1.589: 2.118, p = 0.779, z = 0.280) and implant (95% CI − 2.215: 2.191, p = 0.992 z = − 0.010) supported restorations. However, different abutment materials (p < 0.001) and aging treatments (p < 0.001) in tooth-supported restorations displayed a significant statistical difference. Additionally, a significant difference was also observed in subgroup analysis considering different cements (p = 0.001) and load speeds (p = 0.001) in implant-supported restorations. Fracture strengths of MZ and MC did not show a significant statistical difference in implant or tooth-supported single-unit posterior restorations. This study aims to provide a comprehensive summary of the status and trends of Two-Dimensional Nano Black Phosphorus (2D nano BP) in cancer research from 2015 to 2023, offering insights for future studies. To achieve this, articles from the Web of Science database published between 2015 and 2023 were analyzed using R and VOSviewer software. The analysis included 446 articles, revealing a consistent increase in publication rates, especially between 2017 and 2019. China emerged as a leader in both publication volume and international collaborations. Prominent journals in this field included ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces and Advanced Materials, while key researchers were identified as Zhang Han, Tao Wei, and Yu Xuefeng. The analysis highlighted common keywords such as drug delivery, photothermal therapy, photodynamic therapy, and immunotherapy, indicating the major research focuses. The findings suggest that 2D nano BP holds significant promise in cancer treatment research, with a growing global interest. This study presents a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of studies on financial information/accounting manipulation. The dataset of research includes 1.266 studies from the Web of Science database for the period 1991–2023. All studies included in the research contain either the term 'financial information manipulation' or 'accounting manipulation' in the topic (title, abstract, or keywords). The bibliometric network mapping technique was used for the analysis of the data. The analysis was conducted utilizing the Biblioshiny interface of the R package programs Bibliometrix and Vosviewer. The results pointed out a notable upward trend in the publication and citation rates of financial information/accounting manipulation studies over the last two decades. Several key findings were identified. Firstly, a substantial rise in research output on financial information/accounting manipulation was observed, particularly after 2000, driven by global financial scandals. Secondly, prolific contributors to this field include authors such as Valaskova and Durana. Thirdly, the United States leads in research output, with significant contributions from institutions like the State University System of Florida and the State University System of Ohio. Lastly, The Accounting Review was identified as the most prolific journal in this domain, with the Journal of Accounting Economics being the most impactful based on citations. The most frequently used keywords indicate that the research topics focus on earnings management as a method of manipulation, fraudulent financial reporting, and the relationship with corporate governance. The comprehensiveness of the bibliometric data lends itself to a further examination of how financial information/accounting manipulation has progressed as a subject in the literature since the 2000s. Road accidents are on the rise worldwide, causing 1.35 million deaths per year, thus encouraging the search for solutions. The promising proposal of autonomous vehicles stands out in this regard, although fully automated driving is still far from being an achievable reality. Therefore, efforts have focused on predicting and explaining the risk of accidents using real-time telematics data. This study aims to analyze the factors, machine learning algorithms, and explainability methods most used to assess the risk of vehicle accidents based on driving behavior. A systematic review of the literature produced between 2013 and July 2023 on factors, prediction algorithms, and explainability methods to predict the risk of traffic accidents was carried out. Factors were categorized into five domains, and the most commonly used predictive algorithms and explainability methods were determined. We selected 80 articles from journals indexed in the Web of Science and Scopus databases, identifying 115 factors within the domains of environment, traffic, vehicle, driver, and management, with speed and acceleration being the most extensively examined. Regarding machine learning advancements in accident risk prediction, we identified 22 base algorithms, with convolutional neural network and gradient boosting being the most commonly used. For explainability, we discovered six methods, with random forest being the predominant choice, particularly for feature importance analysis. This study categorizes the factors affecting road accident risk, presents key prediction algorithms, and outlines methods to explain the risk assessment based on driving behavior, taking vehicle weight into consideration.
