Background: Alternative scientometric measures have introduced a novel view of the scientific literature. This study aimed to identify the top 50 most-cited recent articles in the field of knee and hip arthroplasty, characterize their traditional and alternative scientometric measures, and determine the relationship between traditional and alternative scientometric measures. Material and methods: The 50 most-cited articles with the term “arthroplasty” in the title that were published between 2015 and 2019 were retrieved from the Scopus database. Alternative scientometric parameters such as Altmetric Attention Score (AAS) from Altmetrics bookmarklet (Altmetrics.com) were retrieved. Scientometric variables such as journal impact factor, first author H-index, and keywords were also extracted. Results: The 50 most-cited papers accrued 7955 total citations, with a mean of 159.10 ± 56.4 citations per article. The overall mean AAS across the papers was 63.4 ± 164.8. The mean first author’s H-index was 23.8 ± 18.9. Papers published in 2017 and 2018 had a significantly higher mean AAS than those published in 2015 and 2016 (35.1 vs 22.5, P = .009). Citation count was weakly correlated with the AAS (correlation coefficient = 0.379, P = .009). Also, AAS had significant correlations with the journal’s impact factor (P < .001). Conclusion: We found that the AAS was highest in more recently published papers, while citation count had the opposite trend. The AAS was significantly correlated with the journal’s impact factor and citation count, but the correlation is weak. This suggests that the alternative scientometric measures are complementary to, and not substitutes for, complement traditional measures such as citation count and impact factor.

Recent time the performance measurement of any institute (or author) is considered as one of the major issues. The reason is the given institute publishes several papers in distinct area which may contain multiple-affiliations or authors. In this case, the precise analysis of quantity and quality with respect to domain based expert, the founding author is difficult tasks. It requires different metric based on expert Turiyam awareness rather than just h-index, i10, g-index or t-index. To achieve this goal, a method is proposed to investigate the high quality papers, type of co-authorship, highly cited papers, regular paper, special issues, short notes, review, letter to editor, book chapter, conference papers, frontier research etc. The motive is to measure the two institutes and its performance equally on several other parameters rather than only document count and citation. The proposed method will also provide a way to measure the performance of any Institute using patent granted, copyright and software code. In addition another method is proposed to visualize the performance of two or more institute in hierarchical order using properties of concept lattice. To achieve this goal, one of the best Indian institutes i.e. IISC Bengaluru is considered for the illustration. The data is taken from SCOPUS to demonstrate the method and its validation. ObjectiveThe aim of this study was to identify and characterize the 100 most cited articles on Parkinson’s disease (PD) and phenolic compounds (PCs).MethodsArticles were selected in the Web of Science Core Collection up to June 2022 based on predetermined inclusion criteria, and the following bibliometric parameters were extracted: the number of citations, title, keywords, authors, year, study design, tested PC and therapeutic target. MapChart was used to create worldwide networks, and VOSviewer software was used to create bibliometric networks. Descriptive statistical analysis was used to identify the most researched PCs and therapeutic targets in PD.ResultsThe most cited article was also the oldest. The most recent article was published in 2020. Asia and China were the continent and the country with the most articles in the list (55 and 29%, respectively). In vitro studies were the most common experimental designs among the 100 most cited articles (46%). The most evaluated PC was epigallocatechin. Oxidative stress was the most studied therapeutic target.ConclusionDespite the demonstrations in laboratorial studies, the results obtained point to the need for clinical studies to better elucidate this association.

Due to its impact on all human activity, the new virus has therefore aroused increased interest in research. A large number of medical papers related to COVID-19 have been published as a result of the scientific community response to this emerging infectious disease. All measures that combat the spread of the disease came at a cost and the people had to add one more hardship which contributed to the rise in social inequality. Moreover, the costs for internet access, proper equipment to support online education, private healthcare, facemasks, and disinfectants have become a burden for a segment of Romanian society. In this study, 18 Romanian universities a Medicine bachelor specialisation, both public and private, were analysed to determine the dataset query from Web of Science. Our research aimed to assess the impact of COVID-19 papers written by authors affiliated with Romanian universities with a medicine specialisation, which are the factors that influence the likelihood of a paper being cited and how the number of citations varies by university type. The obtained results reveal that University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Carol Davila" from Bucharest records the highest number of published papers, while "APOL-LONIA" University of Iași has the highest number of citations in both WOS Core Collection and in all WOS Databases per research. Furthermore, there is a significant difference in the number of citations between papers with and without a PUB MED ID. Logistic models show that neither the type of university nor the property type of the university (public or private) are determinants of the likelihood of an article being cited in the WOS core collection or in all WOS databases. Publications in Renal Failure in Science Citation Index Expanded (SCI-EXPANDED) between 1992 and 2021 were analyzed. Six publication indicators: total, independent, collaborative, first author, corresponding author, and single author publications as well as their related citation indicators, were used to compare performances of countries, institutes, and authors. Comparison of the highly cited papers and journal's impact factor (IF) contributors was discussed. In addition, the main research topics in the journal were presented. Results show that China published the most total articles and reviews, as well as the first-author papers and corresponding-author papers in the journal. The Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan ranked the top in five publication indicators: total, single-institution, inter-institutionally collaborative, first author, and corresponding-author papers. A low percentage of productive authors emerged as a journal IF contributor. Similarly, only a limited relationship between highly cited papers and IF contributing papers was found. Publications related to hemodialysis, chronic kidney disease, and acute kidney injury were the most popular topic, while meta-analysis was new focus in the last decade in the journal. Background: Over the past few decades, a vast number of articles focused on bone metastasis have been published. Bibliometric analysis is helpful to determine the qualities and characteristics and to reveal the influential articles in this field. Methods: All the databases in Web of Science were utilized to identify articles published from 1961 to 2020. The top 100 most cited articles on bone metastases were involved for degree centrality analysis and analyses on publication time and citations, journals, authors, geographical distribution, research institutions, and research keywords. Results: The selected articles were published mainly from 1986 to 2015. The 100 most cited articles were selected from a total of 67,451 citations out of 90,502 publications with a density of 50.239 citations/year. Citations per article ranged from 357 to 2167. The leading country was USA, followed by Canada and United Kingdom. The most frequently studied themes were clinical management of bone metastasis from different malignancy origins. A co-authorship analysis revealed an intense collaborative activity between countries and institutions. Conclusions: This study identified the top 100 most cited articles on bone metastasis. Publication time, area, and theme distribution were thoroughly analyzed. The present study highlighted some of the most influential contributions to the field. Clinical and academic communities have shown a sustained interest in the management of bone metastasis.

The purpose of this review was to identify and analyze the main characteristics of the 100 most-cited papers in the field of endodontic therapy in primary teeth. A search for the most-cited articles was conducted in the Clarivate Analytics Web of Science 'Core-Collection' (WoS-CC) database up to December 2020. Papers were ranked in descending order, by number of citations, and each paper was matched with the citation count on Scopus and Google Scholar. Two independent reviewers selected the most-cited papers and analyzed it according to the number and density of citations, year and journal of publication, authors, countries and contributing institutions, study design, topic of the paper, and keywords. Spearman's correlation and Poisson regression were used to determine associations between the number of citations and study characteristics. The citation count varied from 15 to 135 (WoS-CC), 8 to 141 (Scopus), and 14 to 317 (Google Scholar). Of the 306 contributing authors, most paper contributions were from Sakai VT, Oliveira TM, and Machado MAAM (5 each). Most of the papers originated from the USA (n=21) and Brazil (n=18). Randomized trials were the most common study design (n=32), and "pulpotomy" was the most frequently used keyword (n=35). Poisson regression showed that the number of citations decreased by 1.5% each year, and increased by 9.7% for each unit of impact factor. This bibliometric analysis highlighted papers, authors, and institutions that have contributed to endodontic therapy in primary teeth. Background: A large number of published articlesexists, centered on pediatric and adult medulloblastomas. Objective: To accomplish a systematic review and meta-analysis concerningmedulloblastoma, focusing on the clinical features, diagnostic and currenttreatment modalities, as well as prognostic factors. Methods: In March 2020, we performed a title- focused search using Thomson Reuters Web of Science database in order to identify the most cited articles centered on adult and pediatric medulloblastomas. Results: Our search resulted in 4.779 articles, published from 1975 until March 2020. All of them combined have been cited 118,703 times, with an average citation per item of 24.84. The most cited article was published by Pomeroy SL, et al. in 2002 in Nature Journal, whereas the least cited one was published by Huang E., et al, in 2002. Conclusions: The aim of the study is, via the presentation of the 100 most cited papers focused on medulloblastoma, to describe their relevant contribution regarding advances in therapeutic prospects, prognosis, molecular characteristics andreconsideration of treatment protocols.We describe how, and to what degree, the treatment guidelines and management of this tumor have changed from 1975 to 2020. We reviewrecent advances in cancer genomics which have revealed 4 distinct subgroups of medulloblastomas, as well asthe importance of molecular biology on the development of new treatment features. We aim not only to answer the question: WHAT were the most cited publications, but also to approach the question of WHY the most-cited sources were so.

Background: There is a large amount of articles centered on ependymoma. Objective: To present the 100 most-cited articles on ependymoma and to perform a bibliometric analysis. Methods: We performed a search on January 2020, using Thomson Reuters Web of Science database to identify the most noteworthy papers about ependymomas, without publication date restrictions. The top 100 most cited articles were detected and reviewed. Results: Our search resulted in 4.254 articles, published from 1975 until now (January 2020). All articles are in English. All of them combined have been cited 10.128 times, in 4.531 different articles, with an average citation per item of 101.28. The article that was accompanied by the greatest citation count was published by Taylor, MD, et al in 2005. The paper has received 532 citations, with an average of 33,25 citations per year. Conclusions: A large proportion of the most cited articles were neither written by authors that were neurosurgeons, nor were published in neurosurgery journals. The review provided an excellent opportunity to summarize the historical development and advances achieved in the field of ependymoma and the important contributions of different authors, specialty fields, and countries.

Background: There is a vast amount of published articles, centered on tethered cord syndrome, which is related to a constellation of diverse pathological entities, included under the term occult spinal dysraphism. Objective: To present the 100 most-cited articles dedicated to the entity of tethered cord syndrome and to present a comprehensive review of the relevant literature. Methods: In April 2020, we executed a title- focused search using Thomson Reuters Web of Science database in order to identify the most cited articles relevant to tethered cord syndrome. Consequently, we reviewed the results to certify that they were relevant to the criteria of our research protocol. The 100 most cited papers were chosen and further analyzed. Results: Our search resulted in 769 articles, published from 1976 until now. All of them combined, have been cited 5.340 times, in a total of 2.097 different articles, with an average citation per item of 53.4.The most cited article was published by Yamada S., in 1981, while the last in our list was published by Walton, M et al in 1995. Conclusions: We distinguished the top 100 most-cited articles dedicated to tethered cord syndrome, all of which are demonstrating important aspects and conclusions, being well-supported and methodologically fully adequate. We also reviewed the relevant evolution of the concept of management and the knowledge of the natural history, as well as new data in tethered cord syndrome research, alongside with the relevant contributions of different authors, fields of special interest, and countries.

Objective: This study evaluated the bibliometric data of the most common publication types of the neuroimaging literature.Methods: PubMed was searched to identify all published papers with “neuroimaging” as their MeSH Major Topics, and they were further searched by the following publication types: case report, clinical trial, comparative study, editorial, evaluation study, guideline, meta-analysis, multicenter study, randomized controlled trial, review, technical report, and validation study. The proportion of papers belonging to each publication type published in neuroimaging journals was calculated. Year-adjusted mean citation counts for each publication type were computed using data from Web of Science. Publication trend and its correlation with citation performance were assessed.Results: Review and comparative study were the most common publication types. Publication types with the highest proportion in neuroimaging journals were guideline, validation study, and technical reports. Since the year 2000, multicenter study, review, and meta-analysis showed the strongest linear increase in annual publication count. These publication types also had the highest year-adjusted citation counts (4.7–10.0). Publication types with the lowest year-adjusted citation counts were editorial and case report (0.5–1.0). It was estimated that 12.5% of the publications labeled as case reports were incorrectly labeled.Conclusions: Neuroimaging literature has been expanding with papers of higher levels of evidence, such as meta-analyses, multicenter studies, and randomized controlled trials.

As humanity reaches the 5.0 industrial revolution, education plays a critical role in boosting the quality of human resources. This paper reports bibliometric research on emerging TiP during 1993-2022 in the educational field to analyse its development on any level of education during the last three decades. This study employed a Scopus database. The findings are that the trend of TiP publication in educational fields has tended to increase every year during the past three decades and conference paper became the most published document type, the USA is the country which produces the most publications; 'Students' being the most occurrences keyword and total link strength. The publication of the TiP is ranked to the Quartile 1, which implies that a publication with the cited performance is a publication with credibility because the publisher has a good reputation. Aims: The purpose of this study is the analysis of bibliometric studies of the medical most-cited papers. Materials and Methods: This applied and the scientometric study was conducted using retrospective bibliometric analysis methods. AScopus search was conducted and 883 articles were retrieved. After reviewing the titles and abstracts, 432 articles related to the purpose of this research were identified. Items such as year, journal, country, and institution were considered. Medical subject heading and NLM were applied for the subject categorization of articles. Given the dynamics of subject areas over time, only the content of 117 articles published in 2020 and 2021 were analyzed. These 117 articles have been reviewed with 11,700 most-cited articles. By reviewing 117 articles, the most productive journal, country, and institute in producing 11,700 articles were identified. Results: The findings have shown a significant number of these publications review 100 most-cited articles in the field of medicine. Articles pertaining to the Nervous System, Musculoskeletal System, Dentistry, Radiology, and Cardiovascular System are the most numerous among the publications. Conclusion: The results of this study allow readers to know the most productive countries, institutions, and journals of various subject areas, as well as the most influential fields and research trends in that subject area. Background: The insula is one of the most researched brain regions with many highly cited papers. However, unlike the literature of other fields, there is currently no study that has identified the 100 most cited papers within the literature of the insula. The aim of the current study was to fill in the knowledge gap by determining which publications concerning the insula have been cited most often, who contributed to them, and what topics they were dealing with.Methods: The Web of Science online database was searched to identify the 100 most cited publications mentioning the insular cortex in their titles, abstracts or keywords. To systematically exclude irrelevant publications, the search strategy was finalized as: TS = (insula OR insular OR “island of Reil”) NOT TS = (“insular biogeography” OR “insular mammal*” OR “*insular lymphatic*”) NOT WC = (“Geochemistry and Geophysics” OR “Ecology”). The identified publications were sorted in descending order of citation count. The 100 most cited publications concerning the insula of the brain were identified and their bibliometric data was extracted and assessed. The VOSviewer software was used with default parameters to generate a bubble map that analyzes and visualizes the words/phrases used in the titles and abstracts of the publications.Results: There were 67 articles on experiments/lab studies and 33 meta-analyses/reviews but no opinion or methods paper. They had an average of 943.4 citations (or 62.9 citations per year), 93.5 references and 13.4 pages. There were 35 papers published in open access. USA was the major contributing country. The most top-ranked publications were concerning emotion, salience and pain.Conclusion: Two-thirds of the publications concerned the normal brain function/mechanism (n = 67), whereas 20 publications concerned disease/therapeutic intervention and another 13 concerned normal anatomy. For the 67 original articles, 57 used human subjects whereas 10 used animal models. MRI was the commonest modality (n = 37), followed by PET (n = 16). Nine articles investigated by histology, two by multiple modalities and three by other modality.

The development of technology like mobile devices, computers, and other smart devices is developing rapidly, especially AR and VR technologies. This study describes a comparison among 100 cited papers in AR and VR studies. Research data covering the top one hundred cited publications for the last thirty years were obtained from the Scopus database. The article is most publication document type. Most of these top-cited papers were published in 2005 for VR and 2013 for AR. The journal Computer and Education is the primary source of the Elsevier, which governs the publication of the most influential AR-VR studies. Most research articles have multiple authors. Slater and Feiner are recognized as the most productive author. The United States dominates the production of highly cited AR-VR papers. INTRODUCTION: Long-acting reversible contraception (LARC) is a feasible solution to reduce unintended pregnancy and abortion rates. Nonetheless, the worldwide prevalence of LARC remains low. The LARC uptake depends heavily on healthcare workers because every LARC insertion requires a clinician's visit, and they are a trusted source of contraceptive information. The study is aimed to explore the trend and distributions of global publications related to LARC and healthcare workers. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Articles related to LARC and healthcare workers were retrieved from the Scopus database. Eligible publications were limited to research articles, reviews, and conference papers published in the English language with no date restriction. The bibliometric data was analysed using Biblioshiny to obtain distributions in terms of the number of publications, journals, countries, institutions, citations, and keywords. RESULTS: A total of 681 eligible publications related to LARC and healthcare workers were retrieved from the Scopus database between 1967 to 2022. The number of publications was low for the first four decades but increased steadily from 2010 onwards. The leading country in this research area was the United States of America and the majority of the most productive institutions were from this country. Half of the frequently cited publications highlighted healthcare workers' bias, attitude, and practice on LARC provision to clients. CONCLUSION: This bibliometric analysis can guide scholars to understand the global overview of research about LARC and healthcare workers. This report identifies the top cited papers in the field of periodontal regeneration since inception of the concept. Using the H-classics approach, 132 papers published between 1970 and 2012 were identified, with 230.0 ± 175.6 (mean ± SD) citations and 10.4 ± 11.5 citations/year. There were 46 clinical reports, 28 animal studies, 23 in vitro studies, 30 reviews, 3 systematic reviews, and 2 combined animal and in vitro studies. Analysis of covariance showed that institution number (≥3, P = 0.011), journal impact factor at publication (>3.0, P = 0.001) and study type (in vitro/reviews vs. clinical trials/animal studies, P = 0.024) were significantly associated with citations/year. Background: As the Covid-19 pandemic increased exponentially across the globe, it has threatened the human lives and uprooted the economy of various cities and nations, besides having a major impact on the environment. In a matter of a few months, the world has transformed its way of living. The global disruption caused by the Covid-19 has brought about several effects on the environment and climate. Hence, a scientometric study of the India's publications in impact of Covid-19 on environment has been conducted to identify the emerging research trends in this field. Methods: The study downloaded India's publications on this topic from the Scopus database using a well-defined research strategy, which was based on using all keywords related to Covid-19 in "Keyword" and "Title" search tags of Scopus database. The search was subsequently restricted to "Environmental Sciences" subject, and limited to "India" yielding 805 records. Results: The 805 Indian publications were published on 'Covid-19 and Environmental Sciences" as searched in Scopus database and these have received 8275 citations, averaging 10.28 citations per paper. The 30.19% and 36.64% share of India's publications received external funding support and involve international collaboration. Among India's foreign collaborating partner countries, USA contributed the largest share (27.80%), followed by U.K. (21.02%), China and Saudi Arabia (14.24% each) and Australia (13.9%). Among 380 participating organizations, Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences, Nagpur, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research, New Delhi contributed the largest number of papers (31, 26 and 26 papers) and Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi (47.5 and 4.68), Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences (28.29 and 2.79) and Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar (19.75 and 1.95) registered the largest citation impact. Among 945 participating authors, M. Kumar, S. Gautam and R. Kumar contributed the largest number of papers (25, 13 and 10 papers) and A. Narayanasamy (61.17 and 6.03), S. Gautam. (30.46 and 3.0) and M. Joshi (27.29 and 2.69) registered the largest citation impact. Indian Journal of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, Science of the Total Environment and Environmental Science and Pollution Research contributed the largest number of papers (76, 60 and 45 papers) and Environmental Pollution (12.0), Aerosol and Air Quality Research (11.12), Modeling Earth Systems and Environment (10.50) registered the largest citation impact of paper. The most significant keywords associated with "Covid-19 and Environmental Science" along with their frequency are: Air Quality (124), Air Pollution (96), Particulate Matter (91), Atmospheric Pollution (65), Environmental Monitoring (52), etc. Conclusion: The results of the present study are focused on evaluation of the India's contribution, focusing on both national and international issues using quantitative and qualitative methods. To generate a research overview of digital banking, we did a bibliometric analysis. In our bibliometric analysis, we identified 2475 papers about digital banking that were published in the previous 10 years (2013–2023) from 1492 different sources under the direction of 6777 academics. The bibliographic information was gathered using the Scopus database. The dataset was examined using the bibliometric R program Biblioshiny. The number of digital banking research publications published each year, the most relevant author, the most cited articles, thematic maps, and trending topics are all listed. A keyword analysis showed that "blockchain", "security", "digital banking", and "digital storage" appeared most often. The research results will be significant to scholars, researchers, and policymakers in banking, as the study showed the roadmap and pathways to scientifically understanding current and future research trends. A myriad of indexes has been proposed to assess the productivity of scientific research. These indexes are useful for several management decisions, such as career development and financial support for scientific research. In the last two decades, several works have proposed indexes to measure how productive and relevant a researcher's work has been. Some of these indexes aim to assess an individual researcher and/or research groups by applying the same formula for both situations; in several cases, such a strategy is not straightforward. This paper aims to analyze the applicability of research-productivity indexes to assess research groups. We appraised several works that applied the h-index for research groups, identifying the different ways that this procedure has been used. Furthermore, we discussed the opportunities to expand these metrics in a fairer way to evaluate quantitative and qualitative aspects in research groups. By means of a literature review on these indexes, we proposed an approach to select and aggregate scientific papers for assessing research groups. Artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as an innovative technology with the potential to revolutionize various industries including libraries and information science. Academic libraries are increasingly adopting artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance services, improve efficiency, and enhance user experience. This study utilizes a bibliometric approach to comprehensively analyze current research on AI in academic libraries (AI in ALs). This study employed bibliometric indicators to identify key trends, patterns, and research gaps in the existing literature. A comprehensive dataset of 373 research papers on AI in ALs published between 2002 and 2022 was collected and analyzed using the Scopus database. Various bibliometric tools, such as Biblioshiny, VOSviewer, and BibExcel, have enhanced this analysis. The findings of this study provide important insights. By 2022, there were 64 publications, constituting 17.16% of the total corpus, accompanied by 65 citations. In contrast, 2019 witnessed only 33 publications yet accumulated a substantial number of citations, amounting to 294, representing 8.85% of the overall citations. Conference papers exhibited the highest frequency among different publication types, with 165 publications, whereas journal articles had the highest citation count, accumulating 217 citations. Geographically, China emerged as the leading contributor with 119 publications, and Wuhan University stood out as the most prominent affiliation. Objective: The study quantitatively investigated the related research progress in pharmaceutical sciences/pharmacy education from a bibliometric angle and provided feasible suggestions to facilitate the development of pharmaceutical sciences/pharmacy postgraduate education. Methods: Bibliometric analysis was conducted using the database of Web of Science Core Collection. The literature published in 1985–2021 was screened and selected. The overall profile description, citation analysis, and research hotspot mining were performed using the citation report of Clarivate Analytics, bibliometrics online platform, and VOSviewer software. The bibliometric results and profiles were plotted and illustrated. Results: The bibliometric analysis of 485 papers of interest showed that the research frontier was continuously expanding; especially the institutions from the USA were the main contributors. The numbers of citing papers have been ascending, and a considerable part of citations were from the areas other than the education research. Mining results showed that the in-school and residency education of pharmacy postgraduates was a research hotspot, as well as interprofessional training and new education styles for Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) therapy were the emerging trends in the field. Conclusion: Through the analysis of the studies, it was found that encouraging relevant research programs, establishing financial supports, and launching specified publication sources could be helpful to boost the development of pharmaceutical sciences/pharmacy postgraduate education. Objectives of the study: The paper is about evaluating the bibliometric parameters of the documents published in the prominent journal, "Public Library Quarterly" (PLQ) from 1979 to 2021. Research Design: The dataset for this retrospective study was retrieved from the Scopus database. The bibliographic information of all kinds of documents was downloaded in the Comma Separated Value (CSV) file, further converted into Microsoft Excel for analysis. The bibliometric indicators of publications and citations by years, authorship pattern, most contributing countries, productive authors, frequently used keywords and salient appearances of highly cited were examined. Microsoft Excel, VOSviewer and Biblioshiney software were applied to visualize the data. The dataset is limited to papers of PLQ that were indexed in the Scopus data. Key Findings: A total of 1151 documents were found and about 78% were contributed by a single author pattern. The multi-author papers gained a higher citation impact. The analysis of data witnessed that a visible shift from single-author to multi-author was observed and the number of papers was also increased from 2011 to 2021. The majority of papers was fall in the category of articles, followed by editorials. Waters R. L. and United States were found to be the most productive author and the most contributing country, respectively. The "public libraries" and "public library" were the most used keywords. Purpose: The purpose of the paper "Bibliometric Analysis of ChatGPT's Applications in Medicine: A Comprehensive Assessment of its Impact and Potential" is to conduct a systematic evaluation of how ChatGPT, an AI language model, has been applied in the field of medicine. The study aims to assess the impact of ChatGPT's applications in medicine and explore its potential contributions to the healthcare domain. Materials and Methods: The Scopus database was selected and the search query (All (ChatGPT AND Medicine) was developed on 11, July 2023 to retrieve all the bibliographic records on the domine of interest. From each record, we retrieved data on the title, author, organizations, journals, publications type, source, country, collaboration, etc. They were exported to MS-Excel for bibliometric analysis and VOSviewer software was used for analyzing Co-Occurrence networks and the data and descriptive analysis were classified, collected one by one, and loaded into the Bibliometric R-package program to create science maps and statistical graphs. Results: ChatGPT - related Medicine papers in the Scopus database constitute 532 papers. these publications received 1046 citations, these authored by 1771 authors published 203 article type and etc. Average citations per document 1966 received and 111 (20.86%) received extremal funding support from 62+ research agencies supporting research in this area. selected 65 significant keywords appearing in ChatGPT and Medicine. USA and UK were contributed the highest papers. Medicine is the broad subject of the study were published highest number of papers (312). Conclusion: The findings from this study can help researchers, practitioners, and policymakers better understand the impact and potential of ChatGPT in advancing medical knowledge, patient care, and healthcare practices.
