Recent breakthroughs have ushered the quantum network into a new era, where quantum information can be stored, transferred, and processed across multiple nodes on a metropolitan scale. A key challenge in this new era is enhancing the capabilities of individual nodes, providing precise and robust control over multiple qubits and advanced functionality for scalable quantum networks. Here, we report on precise and complex control in a hybrid quantum node based on a diamond color center. We demonstrate hybrid coherent control by entangling three types of qubits: an electron spin as an interface qubit, a nuclear spin with long memory time, and a flying photonic qubit, with their qubit frequencies spanning three distinct regimes from the optical domain to the rf domain. By incorporating two additional memory qubits, we encode three memory qubits into a logical state using the three-qubit repetition code and entangle this logical qubit with a photonic qubit. Leveraging hybrid qubits and precise control, we repeatedly read out the error syndromes of memory qubits through the electron spin, serving as an auxiliary qubit, then apply a real-time feedback operation to correct bit-flip errors. We execute and verify active error correction for up to twelve rounds and demonstrate the improvement over the uncorrected counterpart. Mathematically, topological invariants arise from the parallel transport of eigenstates on the energy bands, which, in physics, correspond to the adiabatic dynamical evolution of transient states. It determines the presence of boundary states, while lacking direct measurements. Here, we develop time-varying programmable coupling circuits between acoustic cavities to mimic the Hamiltonians in the Brillouin zone, with which excitation and adiabatic evolution of bulk states are realized in a unit cell. By extracting the Berry phases of the bulk band, topological invariants, including the Zak phase for the SSH model and the Chern number for the AAH model, are obtained convincingly. The bulk state evolution also provides insight into the topological charges of our newly developed non-Abelian models, which are also verified by observing the adiabatic eigenframe rotation. We study the gas inflows towards the Galactic Central Molecular Zone (CMZ) based on the gas morphological and kinematic features from the MWISP in the region of l=1.2 deg--19.0 deg and |b|<3.0 deg. We find that the near dust lane extends to l~15 deg, in which the end of the large-scale gas structure intersects with the 3 kpc-ring at a distance of ~5 kpc. Intriguingly, many filamentary MCs, together with the bow-like/ballistic-like clouds and continuous CO features with notable velocity gradient, are finely outlined along the long structure. These MCs also have relatively large velocity dispersions, indicating the shocked gas generated by local continuous accretion and thus the enhanced turbulence along the entire gas structure. We suggest that the ~3.1--3.6 kpc long CO structure originates from the accretion molecular gas driven by the Galactic bar. The gas near the bar end at the 3 kpc-ring becomes an important reservoir for the large-scale accreting flows inwards to the CMZ through the bar channel. The inclination angle of the bar is estimated to be 20--26 deg, while the pattern speed of the bar is 30--35 km/s. The total mass of the whole gas lane is about (0.9-1.7)x10^7 Msun according to the calculated X_CO=(0.6-1.4)x10^20 cm^-2 (Kkm/s)^-1 from the large-scale CO data and the complementary HI data. The mean gas inflow rate is about 0.8-1.4 Msun/yr, which seems to be comparable to the outflow's rate of the Galactic nuclear winds after applying the updated lower X-factor value above., Comment: 16 pages, 3 figures

The essential role of synthetic spin-orbit coupling in discovering new topological matter phases with cold atoms is widely acknowledged. However, the engineering of spin-orbit coupling remains unclear for arbitrary-spin models due to the complexity of spin matrices. In this work, we develop a more general but relatively straightforward method to achieve spin-orbit coupling for multi-spin models. Our approach hinges on controlling the coupling between distinct pseudo-spins through two intermediary states, resulting in tunneling with spin flips that have direction-dependent strength. The engineered spin-orbit coupling can facilitate topological phase transitions with Chern numbers over 1, a unique characteristic of multi-spin models compared to spin-1/2 models. By utilizing existing cold atom techniques, our proposed method provides an ideal platform for investigating topological properties related to large Chern numbers., Comment: 8 pages, 6 figures

Topological phases associated with non-Abelian charges can exhibit a distinguished bulk-edge correspondence compared to Abelian phases, although elucidating this relationship remains challenging in traditional solid-state systems. In this paper, we propose a theoretical framework for synthesizing non-Abelian quaternion charges in degenerate Fermi gases. By designing artificial spin-orbit coupling patterns, the topological edge modes demonstrate a clear correspondence with the band topology determined by various quaternion charges. This paves the way for observing the interface modes whose existence is attributed to the non-conservation multiplication relation, which is fundamental to non-Abelian charges. In this article, we present the package Blade as the first implementation of the block-triangular form improved Feynman integral reduction method. The block-triangular form has orders of magnitude fewer equations compared to the plain integration-by-parts system, allowing for strictly block-by-block solutions. This results in faster evaluations and reduced resource consumption. We elucidate the algorithms involved in obtaining the block-triangular form along with their implementations. Additionally, we introduce novel algorithms for finding the canonical form and symmetry relations of Feynman integrals, as well as for performing spanning-sector reduction. Our benchmarks for various state-of-the-art problems demonstrate that Blade is remarkably competitive among existing reduction tools. We propose to measure the energy correlator in quarkonium production, which tracks the energy deposited in the calorimeter $\chi$-angular distance away from the identified quarkonium. The observable eliminates the need for jets while sustaining the perturbative predictive power. Analyzing the power correction to the energy correlator, we demonstrate the novel observable supplies a unique gateway to probing the hadronization, especially when $\cos\chi\gtrsim 0$ in the quarkonium rest frame where the perturbative emissions are depleted due to the dead-cone effects. In this work, we report a study on the relationship between flux and intensity for molecular clouds. Our analysis is established on high-quality CO images from the Milky Way Imaging Scroll Painting (MWISP) project. The new flux-intensity relation characterizes the flux variation of molecular clouds above specific intensity levels. We found that the flux-intensity relation exhibits two prominent features. First, the flux-intensity relation generally follows exponential shapes; secondly, hierarchical structures of molecular clouds are imprinted on flux-intensity relations. Specifically, 12CO flux-intensity relations are composed of one or more exponential segments, and for molecular clouds with segmented flux-intensity relations, the edge and the flux of the high-temperature component are strikingly consistent with 13CO emission. Further analysis shows that a similar relationship also exists between 13CO flux-intensity relations and C18O emission. The mean brightness temperature of molecular clouds is tightly associated with the decay rate of flux, the break temperature of exponential segments, and, to a certain extent, the flux fraction of the high-temperature component. Broadly, the flux-intensity relation of a molecular tracer, either in optically thick or in optically thin cases, has the capability to outline the silhouette of internal structures of molecular clouds, proving to be a potent tool for probing structures of molecular clouds., Comment: 10 pages, 6 figures. We report the discovery of several classes of novel topological insulators (TIs) with hybrid-order boundary states generated from the first-order TIs with additional crystalline symmetries. Unlike the current studies on hybrid-order TIs where different-order topology arises from merging different-order TIs in various energy, these novel TIs exhibit a remarkable coexsitence of first-order gapless modes and higher-order Fermi-arc states, behaving as a hybrid between the first-order TIs and higher-order topological semimetals within a single bulk gap. Our findings establish a profound connection between these novel $d$-dimensional ($d$D) TIs and ($d-1$)D higher-order TIs (HOTIs), which can be understood as a result of stacking $(d-1)$D HOTIs to $d$D with $d=3,4$, revealing unconventional topological phase transitions by closing the gap in certain first-order boundaries rather than the bulk. The bulk-boundary correspondence between these higher-order Fermi-arcs and bulk topological invariants acossiated with additional crystallline symmetries is also demonstrated. We then discuss the conventional topological phase transitions from these novel TIs to nodal-line/nodal-surface semimetal phases, where the gapless phases host new kinds of topological responses. Meawhile, we present the corresponding topological semimetal phases by stacking these unique TIs. We investigate the non-Abelian Thouless pumping in a disorder tunable Lieb chain with degenerate flat bands. The results reveal that quasiperiodic disorder will cause a topological phase transition from the trivial (without non-Abelian Thouless pumping) to the non-trivial (with non-Abelian Thouless pumping) phase. The mechanism behind is that the monopole originally outside the topological region can be driven into the topological region due to the introduction of quasiperiodic disorder. Moreover, since the corresponding monopole will turn into a nodal line to spread beyond the boundaries of the topological region, the system with large disorder strength will result in the disappearance of non-Abelian Thouless pumping. Furthermore, we numerically simulate the Thouless pumping of non-Abelian systems, and the evolution results of center of mass' displacement are consistent with the Chern number. Finally, we discuss the localization properties of the system and find that, similar to [PRL 130, 206401(2023)], the inverse Anderson transition does not occur in the system with the increase of quasiperiodic strength, while the system still maintains the coexistence of localized and extended states., Comment: 9 pages,5 figures

In this paper, we present MoMA: an open-vocabulary, training-free personalized image model that boasts flexible zero-shot capabilities. As foundational text-to-image models rapidly evolve, the demand for robust image-to-image translation grows. Addressing this need, MoMA specializes in subject-driven personalized image generation. Utilizing an open-source, Multimodal Large Language Model (MLLM), we train MoMA to serve a dual role as both a feature extractor and a generator. This approach effectively synergizes reference image and text prompt information to produce valuable image features, facilitating an image diffusion model. To better leverage the generated features, we further introduce a novel self-attention shortcut method that efficiently transfers image features to an image diffusion model, improving the resemblance of the target object in generated images. Remarkably, as a tuning-free plug-and-play module, our model requires only a single reference image and outperforms existing methods in generating images with high detail fidelity, enhanced identity-preservation and prompt faithfulness. Our work is open-source, thereby providing universal access to these advancements.

We perform a comprehensive CO study toward the Monoceros OB1 (Mon OB1) region based on the MWISP survey at an angular resolution of about $50''$. The high-sensitivity data, together with the high dynamic range, shows that molecular gas in the $\rm 8^{\circ}\times4^{\circ}$ region displays complicated hierarchical structures and various morphology (e.g., filamentary, cavity-like, shell-like, and other irregular structures). Based on Gaussian decomposition and clustering for $\mathrm{^{13}CO}$ data, a total of 263 $\mathrm{^{13}CO}$ structures are identified in the whole region, and 88% of raw data flux is recovered. The dense gas with relatively high column density from the integrated CO emission is mainly concentrated in the region where multiple $\rm ^{13}CO$ structures are overlapped. Combining the results of 32 large $\mathrm{^{13}CO}$ structures with distances from Gaia DR3, we estimate an average distance of $\rm 729^{+45}_{-45}~pc$ for the GMC complex. The total mass of the GMC Complex traced by $\mathrm{^{12}CO}$, $\mathrm{^{13}CO}$, and $\mathrm{C^{18}O}$ are $1.1\times10^5~M_\odot$, $4.3\times10^4~M_\odot$, and $8.4\times10^3~M_\odot$, respectively. The dense gas fraction shows a clear difference between Mon OB1 GMC East (12.4%) and Mon OB1 GMC West (3.3%). Our results show that the dense gas environment is closely linked to the nearby star-forming regions. On the other hand, star-forming activities have a great influence on the physical properties of the surrounding molecular gas (e.g., greater velocity dispersion, higher temperatures, and more complex velocity structures, etc.). We develop a general framework for studying the spin alignment $\rho_{00}$ for flavorless vector mesons by using the gauge/gravity duality. Focusing on the dilepton production through vector meson decay, we derive the relation between production rates at each spin channel and meson's spectral function, which can be evaluated by holographic models for a strongly coupled system. As examples, we study $\rho_{00}$ for $J/\psi$ and $\phi$ mesons, induced by the relative motion to a thermal background, within the soft-wall model. We show that $\rho_{00}$ in the helicity frame for $J/\psi$ and $\phi$ mesons have positive and negative deviations from 1/3 at $T=150$ MeV, respectively, which consequently leads to different properties for their global spin alignments., Comment: 10 pages, 7 figures

We study the mass spectra and spin alignment of vector meson $J/\psi$ in a thermal magnetized background using a generalized theoretical framework based on gauge/gravity duality. Utilizing a soft wall model for the QGP background and a massive vector field for the $J/\psi$ meson, we delve into the meson's spectral function and spin parameters $(\lambda_{\theta},\, \lambda_\varphi,\,\lambda_{\theta\varphi})$ for different cases, assessing their response to variations in magnetic field strength, momentum, and temperature. We initially examine scenarios where a meson's momentum aligns parallel to the magnetic field in helicity frame. Our results reveal a magnetic field-induced positive $\lambda_\theta^\text{H}$ for low meson momentum, transitioning to negative with increased momentum. As a comparison, we also study the case of momentum perpendicular to the magnetic field and find the direction of magnetic field does not affect the qualitative behavior for the $eB$-dependence of $\lambda_\theta^\text{H}$. Moreover, we apply our model to real heavy-ion collisions for three different spin quantization directions. Further comparisons with experimental data show qualitative agreement for spin parameters $\lambda_{\theta}$ and $\lambda_\varphi$ in the helicity and Collins-Soper frames., Comment: 27 pages, 8 figures

Velocity fields of molecular clouds (MCs) can provide crucial information on the merger and split between clouds, as well as their internal kinematics and maintenance, energy injection and redistribution, even star formation within clouds. Using the CO spectral lines data from the Milky Way Imaging Scroll Painting (MWISP) survey, we measure the relative velocities along the line of sight ($\Delta$V$_{\rm LOS}$) between $^{13}$CO structures within $^{12}$CO MCs. Emphasizing MCs with double and triple $^{13}$CO structures, we find that approximately 70$\%$ of $\Delta$V$_{\rm LOS}$ values are less than $\sim$ 1 km s$^{-1}$, and roughly 10$\%$ of values exceed 2 km s$^{-1}$, with a maximum of $\sim$ 5 km s$^{-1}$. Additionally, we compare $\Delta$V$_{\rm LOS}$ with the internal velocity dispersion of $^{13}$CO structures ($\sigma_{\rm ^{13}CO,in}$) and find that about 40$\%$ of samples in either double or triple regime display distinct velocity discontinuities, i.e. the relative velocities between $^{13}$CO structures are larger than the internal linewidths of $^{13}$CO structures. Among these 40$\%$ samples in the triple regime, 33$\%$ exhibit signatures of combinations through the two-body motion, whereas the remaining 7$\%$ show features of configurations through the multiple-body motion. The $\Delta$V$_{\rm LOS}$ distributions for MCs with double and triple $^{13}$CO structures are similar, as well as their $\Delta$V$_{\rm LOS}$/$\sigma_{\rm ^{13}CO,in}$ distributions. We present CO ($J = 1-0$) multi-line observations toward the L914 dark cloud in the vicinity of the Cygnus X region, using the 13.7 m millimeter telescope of the Purple Mountain Observatory (PMO). The CO observations reveal in the L914 cloud a long filament with an angular length of $\sim 3.\!\!^\circ 6$, corresponding to approximately $\rm 50~pc$ at the measured distance of $\sim\rm 760~pc$. Furthermore, a group of hair-like striations are discovered in the two subregions of the L914 cloud, which are connected with the dense ridge of the filament. These striations display quasi-periodic characteristics in both the CO intensity images and position-velocity diagrams. Two of the striations also show increasing velocity gradients and dispersions toward the dense ridge, which could be fitted by accretion flows under gravity. Based on the $Planck$ 353 GHz dust polarization data, we find that the striations are well aligned with the magnetic fields. Moreover, both the striations and magnetic fields are perpendicular to the dense ridge, which constructs a bimodal configuration. Using the classic method, we estimate the strength of magnetic field, and further evaluate the relative importance of gravity, turbulence and magnetic field, and find that the L914 cloud is strongly magnetized. Our results suggest that magnetic fields play an important role in the formation of filamentary structures by channelling the material along the striations toward the dense ridge. Recently, an anomalous temperature evolution of spin wave excitations has been observed in a van der Waals metallic ferromagnet Fe$_3$GeTe$_2$ (FGT) [S. Bao, et al., Phys. Rev. X 12, 011022 (2022)], whose theoretical understanding yet remains elusive. Here we study the spin dynamics of a ferromagnetic Kondo-Heisenberg lattice model at finite temperature, and propose a mechanism of magnon damping that explains the intriguing experimental results. In particular, we find the magnon damping rate $\gamma(T)$ firstly decreases as temperature lowers, due to the reduced magnon-magnon scatterings. It then reaches a minimum at $T_{\rm d}^*$, and rises up again following a logarithmic scaling $\gamma(T) \sim \ln{(T_0/T)}$ (with $T_0$ a constant) for $T < T_{\rm d}^*$, which can be attributed to electron-magnon scatterings of spin-flip type. Moreover, we obtain the phase diagram containing the ferromagnetic and Kondo insulator phases by varying the Kondo coupling, which may be relevant for experiments on pressured FGT. The presence of a magnon damping minimum and logarithmic scaling at low temperature indicates the emergence of the Kondo effect reflected in the collective excitations of local moments in a Kondo lattice system.

Fractional magnetisation plateaus, in which the magnetisation is pinned at a fraction of its saturated value within a range of external magnetic field, are spectacular macroscopic manifestations of the collective quantum behaviours. One prominent example of the plateau phase is found in spin-1/2 triangular-lattice antiferromagnets featuring strong geometrical frustration, and is often interpreted as quantum-fluctuation-stabilised state in magnetic field via the "order-by-disorder" mechanism. Here, we observe an unprecedented 1/3 magnetisation plateau between 5.2 and 7.4 T at 2 K in a spin-1 antiferromagnet Na$_3$Ni$_2$BiO$_6$ with a honeycomb lattice, where conventionally no geometrical frustration is anticipated. By carrying out elastic neutron scattering measurements, we propose the spin structure of the plateau phase to be an unusual partial spin-flop ferrimagnetic order, transitioning from the zigzag antiferromagnetic order in zero field. Our theoretical calculations show that the plateau phase is stabilised by the bond-anisotropic Kitaev interaction. We study the mass spectra of hidden-charm tetraquark systems with quantum numbers $(I^G)J^P=(1^+)1^+$ using QCD sum rules. The analysis incorporates the complete next-to-leading order (NLO) contribution to the perturbative QCD part of the operator product expansions, with particular attention to operator mixing effects due to renormalization group evolution. For the $\bar{d}c\bar{c}u$ system, the masses of two mixed operators, $J_{1,5}^{\text{Mixed}}$ and $J_{2,6}^{\text{Mixed}}$, are determined to be $3.89^{+0.18}_{-0.12}$ GeV and $4.03^{+0.06}_{-0.07}$ GeV, respectively, closely matching those of $Z_c$(3900) and $Z_c(4020)$. Similarly, for the $\bar{s}c\bar{c}u$ states, the masses of $J_{1,5}^{\text{Mixed}}$ and $J_{2,6}^{\text{Mixed}}$ are found to be $4.02^{+0.17}_{-0.09}$ GeV and $4.21^{+0.08}_{-0.07}$ GeV, respectively, in close proximity to $Z_{cs}$(3983)/$Z_{cs}$(4000) and $Z_{cs}$(4220), consistent with the expectation that they are the partners of $Z_c$(3900) and $Z_c$(4020). The need for fast and robust quantum state transfer is an essential element in scalable quantum information processing, leading to widespread interest in shortcuts to adiabaticity for speeding up adiabatic quantum protocols. However, shortcuts to adiabaticity for systems with more than a few levels is occasionally challenging to compute in theory and frequently difficult to implement in experiments. In this work, we develop a protocol for constructing shortcuts to adiabaticity through the multi-state Landau-Zener approach and a stricter adiabatic condition. Importantly, our protocol only requires a few pieces of information about the energy spectrum and just adjusts the evolutionary rate of the system. It means that our protocol has broad applicability to theoretical models and does not require increasing the difficulty of the experiment. As examples, we apply our protocol to state transfer in the two-level Landau-Zener model, the non-Hermitian Su-Schrieffer-Heeger (SSH) model and the topological Thouless pump model and find that it can speed up the manipulation speed while remaining robust to Hamiltonian errors. Furthermore, based on the experimental friendliness of our findings, it can potentially be extended to many-body systems, dissipation cases, or Floquet processes. Overall, the proposed shortcut protocol offers a promising avenue for enhancing the efficiency and reliability of quantum state transfer protocols.

We present the results for the complete next-to-leading order electroweak corrections to $pp \to HH$ at the Large Hadron Collider, focusing on the dominant gluon-gluon fusion process. While the corrections at the total cross-section level are approximately $-4\%$, those near the energy of $HH$ production threshold exceed $+15\%$, and corrections at the high-energy region are around $-10\%$, leading to a shape distortion for the differential distributions. Recent advances in planar optics with geometric-phase superstructures have brought a new paradigm in the control of structured light and, in particular, has substantially enhanced the capabilities of generating and detecting orbital angular momentum (OAM) states of light and associated spatial modes. However, the structured modal interface that can reciprocally link OAM states via adiabatic control and access-associated higher-order geometric phase remains absent in planar optics. In this work, we propose and experimentally demonstrate a planar optical astigmatic retarder fabricated with liquid-crystal (LC) geometric phase. The LC superstructure was designed with the principle of fractional Fourier transformation and is capable of reciprocal conversion between all possible OAM states on the same modal sphere. Such a planar device paves the way towards an easily deployed modal interface of paraxial OAM states, unlocks the resource of higher-order geometric phase, and has promising applications in high-dimensional classical/quantum information.

Although Feynman integrals in general cannot be expressed as well-studied special functions, they can be calculated systematically and efficiently using the \texttt{AMFlow} method in combination with differential equations in the kinematic space. Therefore, it is constructive to define Feynman integrals as a new class of special functions (or transcedental numbers if there is no kinematic variable). In this work, we propose MagicPose, a diffusion-based model for 2D human pose and facial expression retargeting. Specifically, given a reference image, we aim to generate a person's new images by controlling the poses and facial expressions while keeping the identity unchanged. To this end, we propose a two-stage training strategy to disentangle human motions and appearance (e.g., facial expressions, skin tone and dressing), consisting of (1) the pre-training of an appearance-control block and (2) learning appearance-disentangled pose control. Our novel design enables robust appearance control over generated human images, including body, facial attributes, and even background. By leveraging the prior knowledge of image diffusion models, MagicPose generalizes well to unseen human identities and complex poses without the need for additional fine-tuning. Moreover, the proposed model is easy to use and can be considered as a plug-in module/extension to Stable Diffusion. Non-Hermitian systems have garnered significant attention due to the emergence of novel topology of complex spectra and skin modes. However, investigating transport phenomena in such systems faces obstacles stemming from the non-unitary nature of time evolution. Here, we establish the continuity equation for a general non-Hermitian Hamiltonian in the Schr\"odinger picture. It attributes the universal non-conservativity to the anti-commutation relationship between particle number and non-Hermitian terms. Our work derives a comprehensive current formula for non-Hermitian systems using Green's function, applicable to both time-dependent and steady-state responses. To demonstrate the validity of our approach, we calculate the local current in models with one-dimensional and two-dimensional settings, incorporating scattering potentials. The spatial distribution of local current highlights the widespread non-Hermitian phenomena, including skin modes, non-reciprocal quantum dots, and corner states. Our findings offer valuable insights for advancing theoretical and experimental research in the transport of non-Hermitian systems.

Inflation with Weyl scaling symmetry provides a viable scenario that can generate both the nearly scaling invariant primordial density fluctuation and a dark matter candidate. Here we point out that, in additional to the primordial gravitational waves (GWs) from quantum fluctuations, the production of high-frequency GWs from preheating in such inflation models can provide an another probe of the inflationary dynamics. We conduct both linear analytical analysis and nonlinear numerical lattice simulation in a typical model. We find that significant stochastic GWs can be produced and the frequency band is located around $10^8$ Hz $\sim$ $10^9$ Hz, which might be probed by future resonance-cavity experiments., Comment: 21 pages, 6 figures

For photonic crystal slab (PCS) structures, bound states in the continuum (BICs) and circularly polarized states (dubbed C-points) are important topological polarization singularities in momentum-space and have attracted burgeoning attention due to their novel topological and optical properties. In our work, the evolution of polarization singularities from BICs to C-points is achieved by breaking the in-plane C2 symmetry of a PCS structure of a square lattice with C4v symmetry. Correspondingly, a BIC is split into two C-points with opposite chirality, incurring distinct optical transmission responses with the incidence of right or left circular polarization (RCP or LCP). Harnessing such chirality selectivity of the C-points, we propose a multifunctional imaging system by integrating the designed PCS into a conventional 4-f imaging system, to realize both the edge imaging and conventional bright-field imaging, determined by the circular polarization state of the light source. In addition to multifunctional imaging, our system also provides a vivid picture about the evolution of the PCS platforms' singularities., Comment: 11 pages, 4 figures

We explore the phase structure of Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD) with two dynamical quark flavors at finite temperature and baryon chemical potential, employing the non-perturbative gauge/gravity duality approach. Our gravitational model is tailored to align with state-of-the-art lattice data regarding the thermal properties of multi-flavor QCD. Following a rigorous parameter calibration to match equations of state and the QCD trace anomaly at zero chemical potential derived from cutting-edge lattice QCD simulations, we investigate thermodynamic quantities and order parameters. We predict the location of the critical endpoint (CEP) at $(\mu_{\text{CEP}}, T_{\text{CEP}})=(219,182)$ MeV at which a line of first-order phase transitions terminate. We compute critical exponents associated with the CEP and find that they almost coincide with the critical exponents of the quantum 3D Ising model., Comment: 20 pages, 12 figures

According to the structures traced by $^{13}$CO spectral lines within the $^{12}$CO molecular clouds (MCs), we investigate the contributions of their internal gas motions and relative motions to the total velocity dispersions of $^{12}$CO MCs. Our samples of 2851 $^{12}$CO MCs harbor a total of 9556 individual $^{13}$CO structures, among which 1848 MCs ($\sim$ 65$\%$) have one individual $^{13}$CO structure and the other 1003 MCs ($\sim$ 35$\%$) have multiple $^{13}$CO structures. We find that the contribution of the relative motion between $^{13}$CO structures ($\sigma_{\rm ^{13}CO, re}$) is larger than that from their internal gas motion ($\sigma_{\rm ^{13}CO, in}$) in $\sim$ 62$\%$ of 1003 MCs in the `multiple' regime. In addition, we find the $\sigma_{\rm ^{13}CO, re}$ tends to increase with the total velocity dispersion($\sigma_{\rm ^{12}CO, tot}$) in our samples, especially for the MCs having multiple $^{13}$CO structures. This result provides a manifestation of the macro-turbulent within MCs, which gradually becomes the dominant way to store the kinetic energy along with the development of MC scales., Comment: 15 pages, 13 figures, accepted for publication in ApJ

We perform a high-precision computation of the three-loop three-point form factor of the stress-tensor supermultiplet in ${\cal N}=4$ SYM. Both the leading-color and non-leading-color form factors are expanded in terms of simple integrals. We compute the complete set of integrals at a special kinematic point with very high precision using $\mathtt{AMFlow}$. The high-precision leading-color result enables us to obtain the analytic form of a numerical constant in the three-loop BDS ansatz, which is previously known only numerically. We present the first complete high-precision QCD corrections to the inclusive decay width $\mathrm{\Gamma}_t$, the $W$-helicity fractions $f_{\mathrm{L,R,0}}$ and semi-inclusive distributions for the top-quark decay process $t \rightarrow b + W^+ + X_{\mathrm{\tiny QCD}}$ at NNNLO in the strong coupling constant $\alpha_s$. In particular, the pure NNNLO QCD correction decreases the $\mathrm{\Gamma}_t$ by about $0.8\%$ of the previous NNLO result at the top-quark pole mass scale, exceeding the error estimated by the usual scale-variation prescription. After taking into account all sources of errors, we get $\mathrm{\Gamma}_t = 1.3148^{+0.003}_{-0.005} + 0.027\,(m_t - 172.69)\,\text{GeV} $, the error of which meets the request by future colliders. On the other hand, the NNNLO QCD effects on $f_{\mathrm{L,R,0}}$ are found to be much smaller, at the level of one per-mille for the dominating $f_{0}$, predestining them to act as precision observables for the top-quark decay process., Comment: 7 pages, 3 figures

We present the results of an unbiased $^{12}$CO/$^{13}$CO/C$^{18}$O ($J$ = 1-0) survey in a portion of the third Galactic quadrant (TGQ): $l$ = [219.75, 229.75]$^\circ$ and $b$ = [-5.25, 5.25]$^\circ$. The high-resolution and high-sensitivity data sets help to unravel the distributions and physical properties of the molecular clouds (MCs) in the mapped area. In the LSR velocity range from -1 to 85 km/s, the molecular material successfully traces the Local, Perseus, and Outer arms. In the TGQ, the Outer arm appears to be more prominent than that in the second Galactic quadrant (SGQ), but the Perseus arm is not as conspicuous as that in the SGQ. A total of 1,502 $^{12}$CO, 570 $^{13}$CO, and 53 C$^{18}$O molecular structures are identified, spanning over $\sim2$ and $\sim6$ orders of magnitude in size and mass, respectively. Tight mass-radius correlations and virial parameter-mass anticorrelations are observable. Yet, it seems that no clear correlations between velocity dispersion and effective radius can be found over the full dynamic range.
