Since the discovery of the first Gastrotricha at the end of the eighteenth century, the study of this taxon has proven to be notoriously difficult due to the fragility of the body and its diminutive size. Consequently, this microinvertebrates group is considered part of the less-known metazoan taxa and its biodiversity knowledge is still far from being understood. To bring light to the past, present, and future understanding of Gastrotricha biodiversity literature, we conducted the first study aimed to quantitatively and qualitatively evaluating the global research productivity on this clade by carrying out a bibliographic survey in Web of Science and Scopus databases using bibliometric tools. We found 523 studies published between 1904 and 2022 and detected i) a high prevalence of "new species" as a keyword in the literature, indicating the youth of our knowledge on biodiversity of this phylum; ii) the formation of clusters of interacting researchers around well-established veterans' researchers in Europe; but also, iii) the formation of new research centers training new researchers in recent decades around the world. However, we also found that there are gaps in the accessibility of past literature in the main search tools. We believe that it is time to explore new facets of Gastrotricha research and we hope that our study can provide a guide for future research development to shape more effective policies for biodiversity discovery and conservation initiatives. This study aims to reveal the relationship between architecture and sustainability in the approximately half-century history of sustainability. The study reveals bibliographic characteristics such as change, trend, period, country and author in the terminology of sustainable architecture. A systematic literature review was carried out using bibliometric analysis to produce a performance analysis and science mapping of scientific studies in the field. Bibliometric network visualisations were created using VOSviewer software to analyse the conceptual, social and intellectual structure of the field. This study contributes to the literature by deciphering the bibliographic parameters of sustainable architecture studies conducted between 1975 and 2022. It also identifies current trends in the field and provides a chronological perspective on scholarly studies based on environmentally conscious architectural approaches. The scope of the study is limited to sustainable architecture studies in the Web of Science database, taking into account the range of resources and the speed of indexing. The studies were carried out using 15 keywords, which were predetermined for the scope and focus of the research. This study has enabled real and legal researchers to follow the developments and current course in the field. The broad temporal scope of this study, with its unique combination of research and potential to inform practice, underlines its contribution to the discourse on sustainable architecture and firmly establishes its rightful place. The analysis shows that research has gained momentum in recent years. Today, concepts such as sustainable architecture, climate change, sociocultural sustainability and reuse have come to the fore. Scientific research in Social Work has become increasingly important in higher education. Although this discipline's incorporation into academic research was delayed, it remains highly relevant. This article explores and analyzes the current bibliographic production in Social Work in Andalusia, using the Web of Science database. The main objective is to conduct a bibliometric analysis of this field, examining indices related to Social Work and identifying its weaknesses and strengths. The analysis will use three primary tools: SPSS, SCIMAT, and VosViewer. This bibliometric analysis will evaluate the scientific production in Social Work, off ering a comprehensive overview of its scope and quality. Results may indicate that the bibliometric index of this field is below expected or potential standards. Additionally, it might be noted that higher-indexed articles are often written in English by professionals outside the specific field of Social Work. These findings suggest the need to strengthen research in Social Work by increasing scientific production and encouraging the participation of social work professionals in knowledge generation. The results also highlight the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration and establishing connections with professionals from other related research areas. This study aims to provide a detailed insight into the bibliographic production in Social Work in Andalusia through a bibliometric approach. The purpose of the present paper is to map the characteristics of scientific papers related to culinary arts education and the competencies models theory. The methodology consists of co-word, co-citation, citation, coauthor bibliometric analysis, and the generation of visual maps on VOSviewer software. The results found 17 publications, 12 journals, 37 authors, 9 countries, 46 keywords, and 623 references. Scopus database is the one that shows more results; the search terms are competencies and culinary arts. The most critical years are in terms of the number of published papers, 2016 and 2017. The leading journals are The Culinary Science & Technology and Hospitality & Tourism Education. The research on the theme is based on subjects' labor relations, in the context in which they perform their training. American authors lead the ranking of publications, but they are not the most cited ones, no relationship is found in the institutional links of these authors. The contribution that this bibliometric study presents acts as a support for future research in order to avoid mistakes regarding the use of scattered terms, database choice, methods gaps, main references, and the main authors about competencies models theory on culinary arts education. Bibliometric and bibliographic analyses are popular tools for investigating publication metrics and thematic transitions in an expanding codex of biomedical literature. Bibliometric techniques have been employed in parasitology and vaccinology, with only a few malaria-specific literature analyses being reported specifically on parasite vaccines. The pursuit of parasite prophylactics is an important, global endeavour both medically and economically. As such, a comprehensive understanding of the research topics would be a valuable tool in assessing the current status and future directions of parasite vaccine development. Consequently, this study investigated parasite vaccinology from 1990 to 2019 by analysing literature exported from the Web of Science and Dimensions databases using two, commonly used, bibliometric programs: SciMAT and VOSviewer. The results of this study show the common, emerging, and transient themes within the discipline, and where the future lies as vaccine development moves further into the age of omics and informatics. Background: Paragonimus is a genus of parasitic flatworms known as lung flukes that cause the parasitic disease paragonimiasis in humans and other mammals. We aimed to use bibliometric analysis to identify the global characteristics and temporal trends of published literature about paragonimiasis. Methods: Using the Web of Science database, we identified all original articles on paragonimiasis 1997 to 2022. After collecting the bibliographic and citation data, keywords, citation networks, and co-citations pertaining to paragonimiasis was carried out using the VOSviewer program. Results: The study identified 563 paragonimiasis articles published in 250 journals. Publications in paragonimiasis research have been cited 6190 times and 2803 times without self-citations. The years with the most publications were 2013, 2016, and 2021. The minimal threshold for analysis was met by 19 of the 52 countries investigated. The study included 19 items, yielding 170 links between countries. The total strength of these links was discovered to be 104772. The journal with the most publications in this category was Parasitology Research (n=31). The most frequently used terms in paragonimiasis study were "paragonimiasis", "Paragonimus westermanii", and "lung-fluke." Conclusion: The study concluded by providing an overview of the paragonimiasis research field, including current trends, development, and researcher collaboration. By addressing gaps in this bibliometric analysis and increasing collaboration, stakeholders could strengthen their strategies to effectively combat paragonimiasis and improve public health outcomes. Direct coping actions against COVID-19 required strong action from the public authorities to hand over funds from public coffers. Regarding the financial assistance offered to the states, municipalities and the Federal District were sent R$ 60 billion as part of the Federal Program for Confronting Coronavirus (COVID-19). Knowing this, the objective of this work was to conduct a scoping review of scientific production on COVID-19 and public health spending during the year 2020. To this end, bibliometry was used as a tool for lexical analysis. In addition to the use of bibliometrics, we also used the application of descriptive statistical techniques that helped in the achievement of the motto of this research. To map the data, a search was carried out in the Web of Science database, using the VOSviewer software tool, to find out about the number of publications by research area, citation between authors, publications by country and/or institutions, bibliographic coupling, etc. The main evidence revealed that the countries that most presented publications are between the USA, China and some countries of Europe (England, Australia and Italy), while Brazil showed a very small participation in the number of publications, only 6.61%, being ahead only of Germany, with approximately 5%. The first three journals, which constitute about 23.97% of the published articles, have a Qualis classification, which varies between A1 and B1 in their areas of activity, demonstrating the importance of these publications among scholars and scientists. Background: At the end of the 1990s, transient receptor potential vanilloid 1 (TRPV1) was first identified and cloned, serving as a key pain and heat sensor in humans. A large body of evidence have revealed its polymodal structure, complex function and wide-spread distribution, the specific mechanism of the ion channel remains unclear. Our goal here is to perform a bibliometric analysis and visualization study to present hotspots and trends in TRPV1 channel. Materials and Methods: TRPV1-related publications from inception to 2022 were retrieved from the Web of Science database. Excel, VOSviewer, and CiteSpace software were utilized for co-authorship, co-citation and co-occurrence analysis. Results: There were 9,113 publications included in the study, the number of publications increased rapidly after 1989, from 7 in 1990 to 373 in 2007, during which the number of citations per publication (CPP) also reached a peak in 2000 (CPP = 106.52). A total of 1,486 journals published TRPV1 articles, mainly belong to Q1 or Q2 divisions; The United States published the most articles (TP = 3,080), followed by Japan (TP = 1,221), China (TP = 1,217), and England (TP = 734); In recent years, the TRPV1-related research direction has been broaden to multiple fields related to inflammation, oxidative stress, and apoptosis; Keyword clustering refined the topic distributions and could be generalized as neuralgia, endogenous cannabinoid system, TRPV1 mediated airway hyperresponsiveness, involvement of apoptosis, TRPV1 antagonists as therapy targets. Conclusion: By conducting an exhaustive bibliographic search, this review refined the topic distributions and generalized as neuralgia, endogenous cannabinoid system, TRPV1 mediated airway hyperresponsiveness, involvement of apoptosis, TRPV1 antagonists as therapy targets. The changes implemented in 2005 in the development strategies of Antarctic science carried out by Chile have had a positive impact on the scientific productivity of the Chilean Antarctic Science Program (PROCIEN). We analysed scientometric indicators from between 2009 and 2019. The bibliographic data were extracted from the Web of Science database using search query keywords. We used multiple correspondence analysis to identify specific trends and also network analyses of international collaboration in VOSviewer. The number of Antarctic science publications in Chile has gradually increased from 21 in 2009 to 95 in 2019. The rise in the number of articles was higher in journals for the first impact factor quartile. Research lines showing increased first-quartile impact factor papers corresponded to Antarctic ecosystems, biotechnology and geosciences. The main geographical domains in which such research activities have been carried out corresponded to in the South Shetland Islands and the Antarctic Peninsula. Fieldwork data are the main sources for the production of scientific articles, and there are three science platforms within which most of these papers concentrate. The diversification of funding sources, the implementation of improvements in the selection process and Chile's alignment with Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research programmes have contributed to improving the science that Chile has developed in Antarctica. Purpose: This study aims to map the development of research on ecological civilization with Chinese characteristics using the VOSviewer bibliometric analysis covering texts published until January 2023. The aim of the article is also to find elements of the economic sciences within the framework of the researched issues. Design/methodology/approach: The article includes a review of the most popular scientific bibliographic databases of scientific texts, namely Web of Science and Scopus, and a structured literature review of the texts. The bibliographic data has been processed in the VOSviewer program. Findings and Originality/value: Quantitative results were presented in the form of bibliometric maps, showing among others the relationship maps between watchwords and the existence of six clusters within WoS and five clusters within Scopus, as well as the presence of economic sciences in the studied area of ecological civilization and its Chinese characteristics. Social implications: The world’s environmental problems and the shared resolution regarding the implementation of seventeen Sustainable Development Goals Sustainable indicate the importance of the topic of sustainable development. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to measure the quality of nuclear science and technology research using the scientometric indicators, like activity index, attractivity index and publication efficiency index. Design/methodology/approach: The present scientometric study is based on the bibliographic data extracted from the core collection of the Web of Science database from 1989 to 2019. The data was collected using the advanced search feature, with a search string of 28 related terms. The bibliographic data for all the journal articles, excluding all other formats, was downloaded for statistical analysis. Findings: The present study highlights the growth pattern and the research efforts devoted to the field of nuclear science and technology worldwide, as reflected through the Core Collection of the Web of Science database, for 31 years from 1989 to 2019. The USA has emerged as the topmost producer, with a total share of almost 29% with respect to the world literature followed by Japan, Germany, France and UK. However, the relative citation impact has been the highest for Netherlands followed by the USA, Germany, France and UK, respectively. The study depicted that the activity index, also called as the relative performance indicator, has been the highest for the USA, whereas the attractivity index has been the highest for China, indicating its dominance in attracting citations to its publications in the field of nuclear science and technology. The publication efficiency index, the value has been the maximum for Iran, for which the value has been greater than 1 (1.618). The measure suggests that Iran's research effectiveness in the field of nuclear science and technology has been more than the research effort devoted to the field. Research limitations/implications: The paper was based on the data retrieved from a single database, and the results may vary across other databases. Hence, caution should be taken while generalizing the findings. Originality/value: Several scientometric studies have taken place in the field of nuclear science and technology, particularly in its allied branches, but none of the studies has focused on evaluating the research efforts carried out by the countries in terms of activity index, attractivity index and publication efficiency index, and the present study is an attempt to fill the gap. Using bibliometric methods, this report analysed the volumes of global forest research and research collaboration between researchers, institutes and countries during the period 2010–2019. The keywords used in the bibliometric search resulted in a good match with the publication lists of three major Finnish forest research organisations. The final corpus of "forest" publications consisted of 355,000 articles, proceeding papers, reviews, books, book chapters and letters listed in the Web of Science database. During 2010–2019, the volume of Finnish publications in forest sciences have increased and the share of internationally collaborative papers has also grown. However, the international position of Finnish and Nordic forest research is slowly declining, owing to the modest growth in publishing, compared to fast-growing countries like China and Russia. When comparing Finnish and Swedish research organisations, those from Sweden were more internationally oriented. In both countries, the five top institutes produced more than three quarters of their country's respective publications. Analyses based on bibliometric data used in this study reveal the status regarding publication output and trends. Brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), as the most widely distributed and widely studied neurotrophic factor in the mammalian brain, plays a key role in depression and the mechanisms of action for antidepressants. Currently, there is a large number of studies on the role of BDNF in the pathogenesis and therapeutic mechanism of depression. The quantity and quality of these studies, however, are unknown. To give beginners a quicker introduction to this research topic, we therefore performed a bibliometric analysis. A total of 5300 publications were included. We obtained the publications on this topic from the Web of Science database, and a variety of bibliographic elements were collected, including annual publications, authors, countries/regions, institutions, journals, and keywords. Moreover, we found that oxidative stress and neuroinflammation are the hotspots in the field in very recent years. Collectively, this study provides a comprehensive summary and analysis on the role of BDNF in depression and its treatment and offers meaningful values for beginners on this topic. This study presents a bibliometric analysis study presuming the concept of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) management in the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector. This bibliometric analysis provides information about the trend of article publication topics, the production of the most relevant authors, references cited as well as institutions and countries. It also discusses the most common themes, joint citations and bibliographic networks. The bibliographic data was collected through the web of science database between 2000 and 2021. The analysed documents were 449 documents; the analytical tools used R Programming and VOSviewer. These tools generate graphical representations of bibliographic data based on cooccurrence and their coupling. These findings suggest that the journal is increasing its publication volume and reputation in the field, with 449 Scopus indexed research articles to date. This study aims to reconstruct the landscape of critical social psychology in Brazil and discuss the academic production networks that are developing in this field. Therefore, it analyzed a sample of 384 articles in the field of critical social psychology published by 18 journals indexed in QUALIS (Categories A1 and A2 in psychology area). The publication and citation information were obtained from ISI Web of Science database. Bibliometric analyses were performed using VOSviewer 1.6.9 software to identify indicators such as reference publication year spectroscopy (RPYS) of historical works, consumption, semantic maps and coauthorship. The results indicate that the academic production of Brazilian critical social psychology represents a socially significant and important impact on the country. The journals in which these studies were published have helped consolidate a strong and representative local academic community of the critical social psychology movement in Brazil, and their progressive and ascendant influence has also contributed to other countries of the region. Drug-induced liver injury (DILI) is one of the common adverse drug reactions and the leading cause of drug development attritions, black box warnings, and post-marketing withdrawals. Current biomarkers are suboptimal in detecting DILI and predicting its outcome. This study aimed to quantitatively and qualitatively investigate the research trends on DILI biomarkers using bibliometric analysis. All relevant publications were extracted from the Web of Science database. An online analysis platform of literature metrology, bibliographic item co-occurrence matrix builder, and CiteSpace software were used to analyze the publication trends. CitNetExplorer was used to construct direct citation networks and VOSviewer was used to analyze the keywords and research hotspots. We found a total of 485 publications related to DILI biomarkers published from 1991 to 2020. Toxicological Sciences had been the most popular journal in this field over the past 30 years. The USA maintained a top position worldwide and provided a pivotal influence, followed by China. Among all the institutions, the University of Liverpool was regarded as a leader for research collaboration. Moreover, Professors Paul B. Watkins and Tsuyoshi Yokoi made great achievements in topic area. We analyzed the citation networks and keywords, therefore identified five and six research hotspot clusters, respectively. We considered the publication information regarding different countries/regions, organizations, authors, journals, et al. by summarizing the literature on DILI biomarkers over the past 30 years. Notably, the subject of DILI biomarkers is an active area of research. In addition, the investigation and discovery of novel promising biomarkers such as microRNAs, keratin18, and bile acids will be future developing hotspots. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper performs a systematic review of the research literature in the field of agritourism. In the study, using a structured literature review methodology, established as well as emerging research clusters have been identified for epistemological analysis. Such analysis helps in the identification of key research topics, interrelations, and collaboration patterns in the field of agritourism and other research areas involving similar concepts. Graphical mapping of the agritourism research field is done using visualization of similarities (VOS). VOS software analyzed bibliographic data of 459 research publications obtained from Web of Science and Scopus databases from a period of 1980–2019. This graphical mapping illustrated the authors' and countries' contributions, their collaboration, and publication pattern over the period. Bibliometrics is a scientific discipline that studies quantitatively the bibliographic material of a particular topic. This study analyzes management research published by Latin American countries between 1990 and 2019. The work uses the Web of Science database and provides several country-level bibliometric indicators including the total number of publications and citations, and the h-index. The results indicate that Brazil, Chile and Mexico have constantly led the region's scientific publications. The temporal evolution shows a significant increase on the number of publications during the last years that seems to continue in the future. Purpose-Estimation of food portions is necessary in image based dietary monitoring techniques. The purpose of this systematic survey is to identify peer reviewed literature in image-based food volume estimation methods in Scopus, Web of Science and IEEE database. It further analyzes bibliometric survey of image-based food volume estimation methods with 3D reconstruction and deep learning techniques. Design/methodology/approach-Scopus, Web of Science and IEEE citation databases are used to gather the data. Using advanced keyword search and PRISMA approach, relevant papers were extracted, selected and analyzed. The bibliographic data of the articles published in the journals over the past twenty years were extracted. A deeper analysis was performed using bibliometric indicators and applications with Microsoft Excel and VOS viewer. A comparative analysis of the most cited works in deep learning and 3D reconstruction methods is performed. Findings: This review summarizes the results from the extracted literature. It traces research directions in the food volume estimation methods. Bibliometric analysis and PRISMA search results suggest a broader taxonomy of the image-based methods to estimate food volume in dietary management systems and projects. Deep learning and 3D reconstruction methods show better accuracy in the estimations over other approaches. The work also discusses importance of diverse and robust image datasets for training accurate learning models in food volume estimation. Practical implications-Bibliometric analysis and systematic review gives insights to researchers, dieticians and practitioners with the research trends in estimation of food portions and their accuracy. It also discusses the challenges in building food volume estimator model using deep learning and opens new research directions. Originality/value-This study represents an overview of the research in the food volume estimation methods using deep learning and 3D reconstruction methods using works from 1995 to 2020. The findings present the five different popular methods which have been used in the image based food volume estimation and also shows the research trends with the emerging 3D reconstruction and deep learning methodologies. Additionally, the work emphasizes the challenges in the use of these approaches and need of developing more diverse, benchmark image data sets for food volume estimation including raw food, cooked food in all states and served with different containers. The present papers studies the most relevant scientific information databases at regional and international level from the perspective of their characteristics and functionalities. The main objective is to identify the strengths and weaknesses of this secondary sources through the analysis of their indexing capabilities, coverage, interoperability and scientific information search and recovery for the bibliometric activity. On the basis of information observation and collection from each database website, two ad hoc design tables are developed in order to analyse and compare their performance according to a series of dimensions that cover from formal aspects (origin, purpose, scope) to functional aspects (access, format, quality). Reflection on the contribution of these sources to the matrix construction that allow the development and calculation of indicators for scientific activity evaluation is made. A strong tendency of the systems towards the search and recovery service for bibliographic research, without added value for the reuse of data, is observed. It is concluded that most of the studied systems require hard work on the restructuring and enrichment of the records so that their data export services constitute true tools for bibliometric research. Ethnic identity and acculturation is a multidisciplinary research field. It is not easy for researchers to gain a panoramic view of the knowledge structure in this field. The bibliometric of knowledge mapping provides researchers with a scientific quantitative research method of statistics, description, and prediction of academic status and development trends. The purpose of this study is to help researchers understand the critical knowledge, evolution trend, and research frontier of the current research. Using bibliometrics software Citespace and Bicomb, this study analyzed 1557 bibliographic data in the Web of Science database and found that: 1)the research field development has gone through three stages, and we knew some representative critical scholars and key literature; 2) The literature knowledge mapping co-citation and the co-occurrence of keywords showed the research hot spots; 3) The results of burst detection and central node analysis reveal the research frontier and development trend. The globalization of the world economy has led to the rapid expansion of research objects from immigrants in the United States to the whole world. The amalgamation of machine learning and big data has led to a revolution in data science with several influencing applications to various domains. To gain insights on the current research trends on machine learning for big data analytics, this study follows a bibliometric analysis methodology of citation data to review and quantitatively assess the explosion and impact of literature and research performance in this vibrant research area, which has witnessed rapid changes and rising interest in business, industry and academia. Using a variety of bibliometric measures and visualisation techniques, the paper examines and identifies several related issues including research productivity and directions, major contributors, publication trends and growth rates, citation and collaboration analysis, and others. The relevant bibliographic units for the study were collected from the Core Collection of the Web of Science bibliographic database. Nearly all the relevant publications prior to February 2018 were included in the analysis. The overwhelming productivity and wide-spread applications in several multidisciplinary domains have been revealed, with one-to-two ratio of journal to conference publications. In 1979, Transportation Research Part B: Methodological (TR-Part B) split from its mother journal Transportation Research , which was founded by Dr. Frank A. Haight in 1967, to set off on a journey as an independent journal with a theme on methodological development of transportation science. Since then, TR-Part B has been a leading international journal in the field of transportation research. Motivated by the 40th anniversary of TR-Part B (1979–2019), this paper utilized a bibliometric analysis technique to present a lifetime overview of the development characteristics and contribution details of TR-Part B in the past 40 years. The data used in this analysis were derived from the Core Collection Database of Web of Science , producing a total of 2,697 papers that were regular articles and reviews published in TR-Part B during the study period from 1979 to 2019. A systematic bibliometric analysis was conducted using VOSviewer software around two main aspects. First, analysis was conducted on publication and citation structures, the leading authors, organizations, and regions/countries with the most number of academic publications in TR-Part B , as well as those individuals and sources citing TR-Part B the most. Second, a visualization of the bibliometric characteristics of TR-Part B was presented in a knowledge mapping network analysis of co-authorship and bibliographic coupling. This paper presents the evolvement of a hybrid framework for the analysis of societal impact of research, based on combining the theory of productive interactions with bibliometric data. This paper presents the next step in the development of the hybrid framework, after we have analyzed the social impact of scientific results as recognized in expert evaluation reports, in the second phase, presented in this paper, we have linked this data with bibliographic data obtained by harvesting the public bibliographic database Croatian scientific bibliography (CROSBI). This second phase of research presents the societally relevant output from public research institutions and faculties on public universities in Croatia in the field of biomedicine for the period from 2013 to 2017. The study has found evidence of measuring societal impact of scientific work using the theory of productive interactions on bibliometrics data in the biomedicine field, thereby contributing to the development of more robust understandings of measuring societal impact in science. Introduction: First impression on potential readers is created by the title; therefore, authors should give importance to the title structure. The aim of this study was to establish whether articles created by a smaller number of authors and with shorter, descriptive or declarative titles gain more citations and whether article title length and number of authors correlate to the number of citations. Material and methods: A cross-sectional study on article citation data for 30 scientific journals published in 2016 in Medical Laboratory Technology field according to Web of Science database was conducted. The type of article, type of title, as well as number of words in the title and number of authors was recorded. Results: In the group of original articles (N = 2623), articles with declarative titles (N = 336, 13%) showed statistically higher number of citations in multiple comparison analysis when compared to descriptive titles (P < 0.001). No correlation was found between number of citations and title word count (r = 0.07, P < 0.001) nor between number of citations and number of authors in group of original articles (r = 0.09, P < 0.001). Original articles with descriptive titles longer than 15 words or with more than six authors are cited more (P = 0.005 and P < 0.001, respectively). Conclusion: Based on results of our study, titles do matter. Therefore, authors of original articles might want to consider including their findings in the title and having longer titles. This practical study shows, from the perspective of Information Science (CI), how the techniques and tools of Bibliometrics and Network Science can be used to map the knowledge of a research area or subject. Based on the problem situation of a researcher1 who needs to make a bibliographic survey of the subjects: study of users and emotions involved in episodes of interaction with information systems, the study is developed. It seeks to answer questions such as: (i) what are the keywords that occur the most and how are they related? (ii) who are the most cited authors in the study area? (iii) what are the references shared by the authors of the documents? (iv) what are the main sources of the documents? Based on the subjects, the initial bibliographic survey and consultation on Google Books Ngram Viewer, a set of terms used in the search tools was determined: information science, user study, user experience, user emotion and user affect. The scientific databases were consulted: Web Of Science (WoS), Scopus, PubMed and SciELO. The metadata of 5427 documents retrieved from WoS was used in the VOSviewer tool to build, visualize and analyze the word co-occurrence networks (in English) and the co-citation networks of authors, references and sources. The results obtained show that the summarization, visualization and analysis of the networks allow the combination of elements for understanding information and knowledge of the studied area. They make it possible to explore general and specific aspects and, thus, point out possible paths and approaches to define the scope and delimitation of the research scope. In the context of searching, retrieving and analyzing scientific documents, the tools used were effective in identifying who the interlocutors are, what they discuss and their scientific production. The literature on 'Sleeping Beauties' (SBs), papers that have been 'asleep' for a certain amount of time and that, suddenly, gain a significant amount of attention, is not very extensive, and has analyzed the phenomenon mainly in the Sciences. The present study seeks to find the SBs and their 'Princes' (first studies citing the SBs that have more citations and more co-citations with the SBs) in the field of International Business (IB). In terms of methodology we resort to a model that involves citation and co-citation analyses applied to a sample of 19419 papers on IB published in journals indexed in Web of Science bibliographic database. Four main findings can be highlighted: 1) SBs are a rare phenomenon in IB as only 8 SBs were found (0.04% of the total papers analyzed); 2) They focused issues related to the process of firm internationalization, international entrepreneurship, global strategies, and performance and risk management; 3) They were published in highly renowned journals, such as Journal of International Business Studies; Journal of Management Studies or Strategic Management Journal; and 4) They slept between 5 and 18 years and were awaked by 22 princes. Differently from what has been stressed in the literature about SBs, most SBs in IB presented more than one 'awakening time' and were composed by 'clusters' of princes instead of a single prince. The study of SBs is a useful and instructive model in studying the mechanisms of scientific information flow through citations. Analyses the Indian publications output in marketing research during 1990-2018 on several parameters including contribution and citation impact of most productive countries, India’s overall contribution, its growth pattern, citation impact, the share of international collaboration, identification of significant participating countries in India’s international collaboration, most productivity and impact of leading Indian institutions and authors. The Web of Science citation database has been used to retrieve the data for 28 years (1990 - 2018) by searching the keywords “Marketing Research” in combined Title, Abstract and Keywords field. The World output 55,466 and the Indian publications output in marketing research consisted of 633 papers during 1990– 2018 and which increased from 261 papers in 2008 to 969 papers in 2016, which decreased from 652 during 2017 & 318 during to 2018. The share of Indian overall marketing research was 11.56 percent during 2003-12, which increased from 10.43 percent during 2003-07 to 12.18 percent during 2008-12. Citation metrics are widely used and misused. We have created a publicly available database of 100,000 top scientists that provides standardized information on citations, h-index, coauthorship-adjusted hm-index, citations to papers in different authorship positions, and a composite indicator. Separate data are shown for career-long and single-year impact. Metrics with and without self-citations and ratio of citations to citing papers are given. Scientists are classified into 22 scientific fields and 176 subfields. Field- and subfield-specific percentiles are also provided for all scientists who have published at least five papers. World Patent Information (WPI) is the leading international academic peer reviewed journal in the field of patent information. The journal was launched in 1979 and celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2019. In recognition of this event, the aim of this work is to analyse the main actors, research themes and audiences of WPI. The analyses are based on the Scopus and Web of Science databases and include bibliographic coupling, co-citation and co-occurrence of author keywords. WPI is a boundary-spanning journal with authors from academia, industry and governmental organisations, such as patent authorities. This unique composition provides a prominent platform for knowledge transfer between academia and industry. In addition, WPI facilitates knowledge transfer between academia and industry, with research institutions citing contributions from authors affiliated to industry and patent offices. Furthermore, WPI not only crosses the boundaries between organisations (academia, industry and government), but also across disciplines, linking IP management, technology and innovation management, engineering, computer sciences, physical and natural sciences. It is an effective method for organizing and analyzing available information on a given research topic and has been commonly used in various disciplines. This paper provides a comprehensive overview of all publications about the researches on energy efficiency based on data envelopment analysis (DEA) retrieved from the Web of Science database. A total of 1206 documents in this field, published until 2018, are retrieved from the Web of Science. This study pays special attention to several key issues such as the general citation structure, the most cited publications, the productive journals, institutions and countries/ territories in the area. The cooperation model and cooperative network between countries and research institutes are presented. The key nodes documents in this field are analyzed through the study of literature co-citation. The evolution of research hot spots is explored by analyzing the keywords based on text mining techniques. Three different knowledge diffusion paths such as forward local main path, global main path and key-route main path are presented to identify the knowledge diffusion path of this field. The main advantage of this study is it provides a general picture of this domain.
