The present study is an evaluation of published papers on machine learning as employed in mastitis research. The aim of this study was the quantitative evaluation of the scientific content and the bibliometric details of these papers. In total, 69 papers were found to combine machine learning in mastitis research and were considered in detail. There was a progressive yearly increase in published papers, which originated from 23 countries (mostly from China or the United States of America). Most original articles (n = 59) referred to work involving cattle, relevant to mastitis in individual animals. Most articles described work related to the development and diagnosis of the infection. Fewer articles described work on the antibiotic resistance of pathogens isolated from cases of mastitis and on the treatment of the infection. In most studies (98.5% of published papers), supervised machine learning models were employed. Most frequently, decision trees and support vector machines were employed in the studies described. 'Machine learning' and 'mastitis' were the most frequently used keywords. The papers were published in 39 journals, with most frequent publications in Computers and Electronics in Agriculture and Journal of Dairy Science. The median number of cited references in the papers was 39 (interquartile range: 31). There were 435 co-authors in the papers (mean: 6.2 per paper, median: 5, min.–max.: 1–93) and 356 individual authors. The median number of citations received by the papers was 4 (min.–max.: 0–70). Most papers (72.5%) were published in open-access mode. This study summarized the characteristics of papers on mastitis and artificial intelligence. Future studies could explore using these methodologies at farm level, and extending them to other animal species, while unsupervised learning techniques might also prove to be useful. Examination is a vital role to measure the capabilities of students in their learning. Hence, generating question paper in an effective way is a decisive job for educators in educational institution. Using traditional method, it is monotonous and time consuming. Today, Autonomous Examination Paper (AEP) is used to produce exam paper. Many researchers have proposed effective AEPs to be used by educators. This paper aims to investigate about AEP development and to construct AEP in UiTM Cawangan Perlis. As a result, Ad-Hoc Question Paper Application (AQPA) has been developed using Fisher-Yates algorithm to generate questions for exam paper in the university. Evaluation based on Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU) and Perceived Usefulness (PU) reveal that lecturers in the university manage to interact with AQPA and willing to use it as a tool to minimize their workload. However, more improvement must be done on AQPA to be an effective AEP. To conclude, AEP brings significance to educators and can be improved with the latest technology.

The present comment concerns the correct presentation of an algorithm proposed in the above paper for the glow-curve deconvolution in the case of continuous distribution of trapping states. Since most researchers would use directly the proposed algorithm as published, they should be notified of its correct formulation during the fitting of TL glow curves of materials with continuous trap distribution using this Equation. Recent advances in path-planning algorithms have transformed robotics. The Rapidly exploring Random Tree (RRT) algorithm underpins autonomous robot navigation. This paper systematically examines the uses and development of RRT algorithms in single and multiple robots to demonstrate their importance in modern robotics studies. To do this, we have reviewed 70 works on RRT algorithms in single and multiple robot path planning from 2015 to 2023. RRT algorithm evolution, including crucial turning points and innovative techniques, have been examined. A detailed comparison of the RRT Algorithm versions reveals their merits, limitations, and development potential. The review's identification of developing regions and future research initiatives will enable roboticists to use RRT algorithms. This thorough review is essential to the robotics community, inspiring new ideas, helping problem-solving, and expediting single- and multi-robot system development. A full‐panel circuit model of the on‐cell touch AMOLED is introduced to simulate the mutual interference between touch and display operations. The proposed panel model successfully reproduced nonlinear behaviors of the display noise observed in real systems. Also, the reverse‐directional interference, i.e., touch‐to‐display coupling, was simulated, showing that touch stimulation incurs the fluctuation of display charging voltages, possibly causing perceivable line defects. With the improvement of people's living standards and the widening of circulation channels, the demand for fresh agricultural products continues to increase. The increase in demand will lead to an increase in delivery vehicles, costs, and carbon emissions, among which the increase in carbon emissions will aggravate pollution and is not conducive to sustainable development. Therefore, it is very important to balance economic and environmental benefits in the distribution of fresh agricultural products. Based on the analysis of the distribution characteristics of fresh agricultural products, this paper studies the optimization of the cold chain distribution route of fresh agricultural products considering carbon emission. Firstly, the cold chain distribution route planning of fresh agricultural products was investigated and analyzed by the interview method, and the basis for establishing the model objective and constraint conditions was obtained. Then, taking the minimum total cost including carbon emission cost as the optimization goal, the cold chain distribution route optimization model for mixed vehicle types is established considering electric refrigerated vehicles, gasoline refrigerated vehicles, and so on. Genetic algorithm was used to solve the model, and MATLAB2018b was used to substitute specific case data for simulation analysis. The analysis results show that increasing the consideration of carbon emission and mixed vehicle types in the distribution route of fresh agricultural products can not only reduce the distribution cost but also reduce the carbon emission. The top eigenpairs at the title mean the maximal, the submaximal, or a few of the subsequent eigenpairs of an Hermitizable matrix. Restricting on top ones is to handle with the matrices having large scale, for which only little is known up to now. This is different from some mature algorithms, that are clearly limited only to medium-sized matrix for calculating full spectrum. It is hoped that a combination of this paper with the earlier works, to be seen soon, may provide some effective algorithms for computing the spectrum in practice, especially for matrix mechanics. Microplastics are among the ubiquitous contaminants in our environment. As emerging contaminants, microplastics are still facing with lots of challenges on the characterisation, including their capture, identification and visualisation, particularly from a complex background. For example, when we print documents using a laser printer, we are printing microplastics onto paper, because the plastics are the main ingredient of the toner powder mixture. Characterisation of these microplastic mixture meets an even more complicated challenge, because plastic's signals might be shielded by other toner powder ingredients such as the pigments, the dyes, the black carbon, and the paper fabrics as well. To solve this challenge, we employ various techniques, including SEM, TEM, XPS, FT-IR, TGA and Raman, to characterise the microplastics printed via the toner powders. Interestingly, we show that Raman can distinguish and visualise the distribution of the microplastics from the complex background of the mixture. We estimate the millions of toner powders, each of which is ~4–6 μm in size, are printed out per A4 sheet as microplastics. The findings send a strong warning that millions of microplastics might be generated from the printing activities in our daily lives. This paper presents an algorithm for organizing and grouping data related to the expenditures by education levels in Bulgaria. The built database is used as a source from which the necessary information is searched depending on the entered indicators and time interval. The considered indicators include the public and private expenditures by education levels for the period2012-2020. The extracted subsets of elements are processed and analyzed. In this connection, four groups of variables are calculated and discussed. The results show that the expenditures in four of the education levels (primaryand pre-primary education as well as upper and lower secondary education) grow over the last five years (2016-2020). The quoted indicator inpost-secondary, non-tertiary education isreduced gradually in 2016-2019. During 2015, as compared to 2014, the expenditures in the considered 7 levels of education decreased in the range from 0.29% to 7.81%. This work calculates the share of expenditure for tertiary educationbachelor, master and doctor in comparison with the total expenditures for education in the indicatedtime period. The obtained value of the variable for this education level is the highest. It is 29.74%. The values of this variable are significantly lower for the following two levels of education - tertiary education-professional bachelor and postsecondary, non-tertiary education. With the rapid advancement of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) technologies in recent years, their uses have been increasingly adopted in the architecture, engineering, and construction industries. To satisfy the needs of various types of construction projects, a considerable amount of research work has been performed to implement and refine the operations, safety, and accuracy of UAVs. This paper presents the findings of a comprehensive literature review that focuses on UAV research in construction management during the timeframe of 2016 to 2021. A total of 95 papers were identified and collected from a list of 21 relevant journals and conference proceedings, and were then categorized by their research topic, sensor types, and targeted structures. The results of 47 exemplary studies were reported in two categories, namely UAV uses and construction uses. The research topics identified for UAV uses include algorithm, applications, operations, framework, and training, while research topics identified for construction use include inspection, surveying, safety, and monitoring. The connection between the research topics, sensor types, targeted structures, and other advanced technologies were also discussed. This paper summarizes the current results of UAV research in construction management, reviews the methodology, benefits, and limitations of the reviewed literature, and provides valuable knowledge for the future trend of UAV applications in the civil, infrastructure, and construction industries. This paper is concerned with a recursive algorithm as a preprocessing step to find the convex hull of n random points uniformly distributed in the plane. For such a set of points, it is shown that eliminating all but O (log n) of points can derive the same convex hull as the input set. Some challenges when implementing the optimized link state routing (OLSR) protocol on real-life devices and simulators are unmanageable: link quality, rapid energy depletion, and high processor loads. The causes of these challenges are link state processing, unsuitable multipoint relay (MPR) nodes, and information base maintenance. This paper proposes a structured, energy-efficient link sensing and database maintenance technique. The improved OLSR in the paper replaces the OLSRv2's HELLO, HELLO, and Topology Control (TC) message sequence with a new sequence. MPR nodes are not mandated to broadcast TC messages if the number of nodes and their OLSRv2 addresses remain unchanged after subsequent broadcasts or if no node reported 2-hop symmetric connections. The paper further proposes an MPR selection technique that considers four parameters: node battery level, mobility speed, node degree, and connection to the base station for optimum relay selection. It combines the four parameters into one metric to reduce energy dissipation and control routing overhead. The modifications were implemented in NS-3, and the simulation results show that our improved OLSR outperforms the existing OLSR, OLSRv2 and other improved routing protocols in energy consumption, routing overhead, the packet delivery ratio and end-to-end delay, as compared to the related literature. The widely used discrete-element particle flow software PFC's (PFC 7.0 and previous versions) algorithm for calculating porosity is not sufficiently accurate. Because of this, when the particles are densely packed, the solution to the equation produces an algorithm exception for odd calculations of porosity, which results in the inability to calculate the results. This paper, based on a Darcy seepage model of fluid flow through a granular bed, analyzed the shortcomings of the two porosity calculation methods of PFC and the function analysis method. Combining this analysis with the theory of computer graphics, a new and efficient porosity calculation algorithm was proposed. The result showed that the new proposed porosity calculation algorithm calculated a more accurate and reasonable porosity field and made the iterative solution of the CFD equation more stable. Two curves are affinely equivalent if there exists an affine mapping transforming one of them onto the other. Thus, detecting affine equivalence comprises, as important particular cases, similarity, congruence and symmetry detection. In this paper we generalized previous results by the authors to provide an algorithm for computing the affine equivalences between two parametric curves of certain types, in any dimension. In more detail, the algorithm is valid for rational curves, and for parametric curves with nonrational but meromorphic components, it admits an also meromorphic, and in fact rational, inverse. Unlike other algorithms already known for rational curves, the algorithm completely avoids polynomial system solving, and instead uses bivariate factoring as a fundamental tool. We address the numerical approximation of bilevel problems where a Nash equilibrium has to be determined both in the upper level and in the lower level. Widely applied in engineering and economic frameworks, such models are an extension of the well-known Stackelberg duopoly model and of the classical bilevel optimization problem. In this paper, the lower level involves a nonparametric ratio-bounded game (as introduced by Caruso, Ceparano and Morgan in CSEF Working Papers 593, 2020) and the upper level involves a potential game (as introduced by Monderer and Shapley in Games Econ. Behav. 14, 1996). After presenting existence and uniqueness results for the solutions of such bilevel Nash equilibrium problems, we define a numerical method relying on a derivative-free unconstrained optimization technique connected to direct-search methods. Existing land registration systems have several issues like dual ownership, fraudulent or incomplete registries. The existing system also includes a lot of middle men which makes it prone to malicious acts and results in a vulnerable system. Keeping track of who owns which part of land is a big challenge. To overcome this problem blockchain technology is used. Use of blockchain will remove middle men, increase trust, efficiency of the system and reduce corruption. This paper highlights the issues related to the current system such as authenticity, centralization, reliability, transparency, etc and proposes a better method using ethereum blockchain and smart contracts to overcome this problem. A reasonable method for estimating alighting stops can provide a data guarantee for schedule design and vehicle scheduling. However, few studies, to our best knowledge, have addressed this problem using the variable distance threshold for different types of passengers. This paper is based on available smart card data, and a two-stage algorithm is designed to obtain missing alighting stations in the entry-only urban public transportation system. This algorithm divides passengers into seven types, determines varying distance thresholds for different passengers, and includes five assumptions. Based on the first three assumptions, the corresponding subalgorithms are designed, respectively, constituting the first-stage algorithm, and the first match for all passengers' alighting stations is carried out. The second-stage algorithm is designed on the basis of the latter two assumptions. A secondary match is conducted on data that were not successfully matched in the first stage to ensure that alighting stops for all passengers are identified. The proposed methods are verified using urban public transport data from the city of Zhuhai as an example. Research results show that the drop-off stops where approximately 74% of passengers can be determined after matching the first-stage algorithm. The distance thresholds for various passengers are different, and the distance thresholds for the same type of passengers over different days are also different. Compared with the traditional fixed distance threshold, the variable distance threshold for various passengers proposed in this paper can improve the match rate of alighting station estimate, about 9%. By appropriately extending the distance thresholds for different passengers, the match rate for passengers who work or live in the suburbs can be further improved, which is in line with the actual travel status of such passengers. The second-stage algorithm can identify alighting sites for a single or unlinked trip. Information and communication technologies are spreading rapidly due to their fast proliferation in many fields. The number of Internet users has led to a spike in cyber-attack incidents. E-commerce applications, such as online banking, marketing, trading, and other online businesses, play an integral role in our lives. Network Intrusion Detection System (NIDS) is essential to protect the network from unauthorized access and against other cyber-attacks. The existing NIDS systems are based on the Backward Oracle Matching (BOM) algorithm, which minimizes the false alarm rate and causes of high packet drop ratio. This paper discussed the existing NIDS systems and different used pattern-matching techniques regarding their weaknesses and limitations. To address the existing system issues, this paper proposes an enhanced version of the BOM algorithm by using multiple pattern-matching methods for the NIDS system to improve the network performance. The proposed solution is tested in simulation with existing solutions using the Snort and NSL-KDD datasets. The experimental results indicated that the proposed solution performed better than the existing solutions and achieved a 5.17% detection rate and a 0.22% lower false alarm rate than the existing solution. Efficient and safe detection of Bacillus anthracis spores (BAS) is a challenging task especially in bio-terror scenarios where the agent is concealed. We provide a proof-of-concept for the identification of concealed BAS inside mail envelopes using short-wave infrared hyperspectral imaging (SWIR-HSI). The spores and two other benign materials are identified according to their typical absorption spectrum. The identification process is based on the removal of the envelope signal using a new automatic new algorithm. The paper is focused on computer production systems. The computer network is competitive to give corresponding communication, and not only this, to share data, and to have respective command, on the client-side, end-user, etc. The paper also gives the solution to how to create a model and algorithm, which is responsible to command-and interconnect all the questions related to this system and to implement them concretely in the company. For example, the management of the industrial system requires a more professional approach in terms of building a corresponding algorithm, to be available and to manage through the computer control system. Also, here must emphasize that this point of view in the paper, is only, one part, of any general structures design and to support the company, but here the paper describes, the main objectives, which is necessary to realize all the opportunity, in the production systems. The paper also gives us specifically address the construction of the technical system to manage a sequential part of the industrial system, with the support of control algorithms, computer systems, and related software, where is obtained facilitate in the context of management of the technical system. In the paper, are presented indirectly, three main systems such are; electrical, computer, and control system.
