Under the background of engineering education professional certification, the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) education concept of "output-oriented" has been paid more and more attention. The traditional experimental teaching of programming course often focuses on the teaching of theoretical knowledge, and lacks the cultivation of students' practical ability and innovative spirit. Engineering education puts forward new requirements for the teaching mode of program design course. The experimental teaching of programming courses requires further reform and innovation to cultivate high-quality technical engineering talents with good social responsibility, teamwork ability, and innovative thinking ability. Guided by the theory of engineering education combined with the educational philosophy of Conceive–Design–Implement–Operate (CDIO) and OBE, this paper carried out the reform of experimental teaching of programming course among students majoring in computer science and technology and information security. This teaching reform aimed to better cultivate students' practical ability, innovation ability, and knowledge-integrated application ability, considering the course concept, course design, course implementation, and course operation, and exploring the practice of teaching process reconfiguration, teaching content organization, and teaching method integration. This multi-integration experimental teaching reform was found to fully mobilize students' learning enthusiasm, tap into students' potential, greatly improve students' comprehensive practical ability, effectively achieve course goals, and lay a solid foundation for subsequent professional course learning. The emergence and widespread adoption of biotechnology have had a profound impact on various aspects of human life, including the educational technology environment. This paper examines the impact of bio-commercial technology on modern educational technology environment, exploring the ways in which biotech has influenced teaching and learning practices, curriculum development, and education administration. The paper also considers the ethical and societal implications of the integration of biotech into education, highlighting the need for responsible and informed decision-making. The study draws on a review of relevant literature and case studies to provide a comprehensive understanding of the relationship between bio-commercial technology and modern educational technology environment. The findings suggest that biotech has the potential to enhance educational technology, providing opportunities for new learning experiences, skills development, and research collaborations. However, it also poses challenges related to privacy, equity, and safety. As the new orientation, new requirement and new task to develop higher education, it is necessary to deeply implement the digital strategic action, construct a new form of higher education teaching, give full play to the role of the main channel in the classroom education, and comprehensively promote the ideological and political construction of curriculum. On the basis of the digital intelligence era, this paper deeply explores the ideological and political elements in each chapter according to the characteristics of the course, teaching objectives and teaching contents; it also draws the conclusion about the teaching reform and practice of the ideological and political construction of the course on Food Chemistry and Analysis. To cope with the current resource, energy, and environmental problems faced by the manufacturing industry, energy conservation has become a long-term national development strategic policy. Specifically, the problems of high energy consumption and low energy efficiency in hydraulic systems have received considerable attention. Based on previous research on hydraulic energy-saving technology, this paper discusses the problems and challenges faced by such technology in higher education, the methods of integrating this technology into the curricula of mechanical majors, and the implementation of teaching reform. In the selected case study, hydraulic energy-saving technology was incorporated into the hydraulic experiment and practical training course of our school, focusing on the integration of energy-saving and emission-reduction concepts in the field of mechanical engineering teaching and research. Integrating hydraulic energy-saving technology into teaching and research not only enriches the content of mechanical engineering degree courses but also integrates professional knowledge with future work practice, provides methods and technical support for future research by teachers and students, and stimulates new ideas for the teaching reform and talent cultivation of mechanical engineering majors. The development of information technology promotes the reform of college education. In this paper, the attention mechanism is introduced based on the LSTM model, the Att-LSTM model is constructed to extract students’ learning characteristics quickly, and students’ learning level is analyzed by combining them with the Markov chain model. On this basis, the reform system of chemistry teaching in agricultural and forestry colleges and universities is constructed by combining with information technology and applied to the practice of colleges and universities. Its application effect is explored through the analysis of chemistry performance, experimental operation ability, and report writing ability. After the reform of virtual experiment App and multi-screen interactive technology, students’ chemistry scores increased from 63.17 to 86.95, the level of chemistry experimental operation ability improved significantly, the average level increased from 0.63 to 0.90, and the scores of theme aspect and idea aspect of chemistry report writing increased, and the comprehensive score reached 82.20. Meanwhile, due to the integration of virtual experiment app and multi-screen interactive technology virtual experiment app and multi-screen interactive technology, students’ interest in learning chemistry was stimulated and their understanding and internalization of chemistry knowledge were enhanced. New engineering construction is a major strategic action to actively deal with a new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial change. Ideological and political education in courses is an important way to deepen the reform of engineering education and cultivate excellent engineering talents with virtue plus ability. This paper analyzes the realistic predicament of the ideological and political construction of food science and engineering specialty courses under the background of new engineering. Meanwhile, the reform practice of the ideological and political education in food science and engineering major of Huazhong Agricultural University is summarized. Finally, this paper proposes five practical paths of ideological and political education in food science and engineering, in order to promote and improve training quality of scientific and technological talents in food engineering. The five practical paths of ideological and political education are the construction of teachers, the construction of courses, the reform of classroom instruction, the students' self-study and the top-level design of college party committee.

ObjectiveTo identify author collaborations and impact; participating countries, institutions, and journals; evaluate the knowledge base; and analyze research hotspots and frontiers in teaching reforms in physiology.MethodsArticles and reviews related to teaching reforms in physiology published between January 1, 2012, and December 31, 2021, were obtained from the Web of Science Core Collection. Two Scientometric software applications (CiteSpace 5.7 and VOSviewer 1.6.15) were used to perform bibliometric and knowledge-map analysis, generate network maps, and identify research trends and top keywords, authors, co-cited authors, institutions, countries, journals, and references.ResultsThe search identified a total of 2,882 papers in 466 academic journals by 13,895 authors from 4,072 organizations in 67 countries/regions. Physiology teaching reform-related publications increased rapidly over time. Arango-Lasprilla and Rivera published the most papers, while Moseley had the most co-citations. Active collaborations among physiology researchers were noted. Advances in Physiology Education published the most papers on physiology teaching reforms and was also the top co-cited journal in the Medicine/Medical/Clinical, Psychology/Education/Health, and Neurology/Sports/Ophthalmology fields. The United States and University of California published the most physiology teaching publications in the search criteria. Ten references (research articles and reviews) on mechanisms and diseases were identified as the knowledge base. The mainstream research directions were education, Alzheimer’s disease, performance, physiology, and risk factors. Mental health and emotion regulation are increasing in significance and may become new hotspots. The research trend to move from the field of pain pathogenesis to the field of neuropsychiatry has become increasingly clear. This tendency away from peripheral system-based disorders to central system-based orders is inextricably linked to further developments in physiological understanding of the brain.ConclusionThis study analyzed the research hot spots and frontiers of teaching reforms on in physiology using bibliometric and visual methods. Based on the results, rehabilitation, neurosciences, and infectious disease are hot topics in physiology. In particular, the pathogenesis of neurological diseases, treatment strategies, and technology updates have gradually become research hotspots. We predict that this trend is closely related to the implementation of brain research programs in various countries. These findings provide helpful references for scholars focusing on physiology education.

On 22 September 2020, General Secretary Xi made a solemn commitment to the international community at the general debate of the seventy-fifth session of the United Nations General Assembly to achieve carbon peak and carbon neutrality, and he announced specific goals at the Climate Ambition Summit. China is striving to achieve carbon peak by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2060. At the same time, during the Fifth Plenary Session of the Nineteenth Central Committee of the CPC and the Central Economic Work Conference, specific arrangements for related goals have been made. During these two sessions in 2021, carbon peak and carbon neutralization were also mentioned in the government work report for the first time, which became the "hot words" discussed by the delegates and one of the key subjects of the 14th Five-Year Plan. Against the current backdrop of "double carbon", reforms must urgently be made in the education and teaching of the resource major in colleges and universities to achieve the goal of carbon neutralization with high quality, promote discipline construction, and explore and implement the development model of "new engineering". With regard to the resource exploration industry, mining, dressing and smelting will produce a large amount of carbon dioxide, solid waste and tailings, which can be neutralized by injecting solid waste or tailings reservoirs through green mine construction and carbon capture. On the one hand, the comprehensive utilization efficiency of mines can be improved in this way. On the other hand, a large amount of carbon can be stored underground, which is an important method of achieving the goal of carbon neutrality. In this study, we took the core course "Mineral Resources Exploration" from the resource exploration major as an example to think about and study the ways the education and teaching of resource majors could be reformed, such as exploration engineering under the guidance of the carbon neutrality target, which has certain guiding significance regarding the improvement of the training quality of resource major students. In the reform of medical laboratory courses, innovative teaching methods and the development of a teaching assessment system are crucial. However, in past practices, assessments have encountered some issues: a greater emphasis on recording outcomes, neglecting supervision of the process; a focus on summarizing writing, overlooking the importance of analysis and improvement. In the teaching process of Jilin University’s Oncological Rehabilitation Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center, the Peer-Assisted Learning (PAL) model is employed to enhance students’ learning approaches. The innovative incorporation of Direct Observation of Procedural Skills (DOPS) and Mini-Clinical Evaluation Exercise (Mini-CEX) facilitates effective assessment and feedback. The combination of these reform measures not only addresses issues in experimental teaching but also enhances the internalization of students’ knowledge and skills. In this study, we applied the evaluation systems of Direct Observation of Procedural Skills and Mini-Clinical Evaluation Exercise (Mini-CEX) to the comprehensive laboratory course in oncological rehabilitation. We utilized questionnaires to assess the impact of these reforms on students, aiming to evaluate the effectiveness of the course modifications. Statistical analysis of the data revealed a high level of student approval and a strong willingness to learn under the new evaluation system. Compared to traditional teaching methods, the introduction of DOPS and Mini-CEX significantly enhanced students’ overall competencies and improved the quality of the oncological rehabilitation course. Our approach represents an innovative reform, suggesting that incorporating DOPS and Mini-CEX into teaching could provide a widely applicable and promising new educational method. This paper explores and systematically elaborates on the reform and practice of the teaching model and formative assessment in the comprehensive laboratory course of oncological rehabilitation.

E-learning is a teaching model formed during the informatization of colleges. It is of great significance to the promotion of teaching reform. This paper tries to evaluate the training effect of e-learning among college students, understand their perception and expectation of e-learning, and demonstrate the importance of the training to the practical ability and professional knowledge utilization of college students. In addition, the factors affecting e-learning training in colleges are evaluated one by one. The results show that e-learning training effect can be assessed well with an evaluation index system (EIS), consisting of a response layer, a learning layer, a behavior layer, and a result layer. The training effect of e-learning is influenced by the trainee characteristics, working environment, and training design. Introduction: The competency of education is advocated in the 2023 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. UNESCO encourages countries to provide inclusive, equitable, competency education and lifelong learning opportunities for all. Starting from 2019, 12-Year-Basic-Education, a new curriculum, was fully implemented in Taiwan to conform to the competency education strategy. For the teachers on site, teachers' understanding of the new curriculum and teaching practice has a direct impact on the competency of the implementation of this new policy. The main purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between vocational senior high school teachers' competency-oriented teaching, teaching identity and teaching transformation regarding this new curriculum. Methods: In order to effectively expand teachers' understanding of competency-oriented teaching identity, this study put forward 6 hypothetical approaches based on the implicit theory of teaching transformation. The 747 valid questionnaires accounted for 97.1% of the total recovered questionnaires. The reliability and validity analyses, as well as overall model fitting analysis and research model validation were performed on these valid questionnaires. Results: The results of the study showed: (1) With the background of Competencyoriented teaching, teachers' teaching attitude and teaching willingness has a positive impact on teaching identity; (2) teachers' teaching identity has a positive impact on teaching preparation, teaching practice, further study, three types of teaching transformation. In summary, three conclusions from this study were concluded on the aspects of teaching preparation, teaching practice and further study on practical competency-oriented teaching, teaching identity and teaching transformation in the educational field. Conclusion: Three conclusions were derived for the relationships among these six constructs: (1) Teachers with a "good attitude" and "strong willingness" to teach, a "high sense of identification" acceptance and full implement of "teaching preparation" are considered as teachers with a "foresight and a visionary predictive style"; (2) Teachers with a high sense of self-awareness who can fully practice "teaching practice" are teachers with a "pragmatic teaching by example style"; (3) Teachers with a "good attitude," a "strong willingness" to teach, a "high sense of identification" acceptance and who are able to fully practice "advanced research" are considered as teachers with an "empowerment-enhancing coaching style". In higher vocational colleges, the teaching reform of art courses faces complex problems, namely, the evaluation system is imperfect, and the evaluation model involves complex calculations. To solve these problems, this paper strives to enhance the teaching reform capacity of art courses in higher vocational colleges. Firstly, the factors affecting the said teaching reform were identified. Next, an index system was established to evaluate the teaching reform capacity. The index system was integrated with the gray theory into an evaluation model of the teaching reform capacity. Based on the evaluation results, several strategies were put forward to enhance the teaching reform capacity. Introduction: Interdisciplinary science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) courses are a popular trend in international education than can help inculcate creativity in students. Although STEAM courses have been widely promoted in China, they are generally unsustainable because they are merely imitations of European and American courses and lack Chinese humanistic factors; a close integration between disciplinary ideas and thinking levels is also lacking. C-STEAM, which is designed to pass down China’s culture, is a form of STEAM education with local Chinese characteristics that are focused on integrating interdisciplinary knowledge with the thought process oriented toward cultural heritage. Methods: In this study, an innovative higher vocational college course with C-STEAM interdisciplinary principles was constructed, with art and design as the framework, and with the integration of Chinese local culture. Semi-structured interviews were conducted to sample 12 learners from a total of 90 students in the experimental class of the C-STEAM course. The study aimed to provide a deeper understanding of the effectiveness of taking a Packaging Design course combined with C-STEAM from multiple perspectives. After the interviews, based on the BAO model, coding statistics and thematic analysis were conducted to understand the learners’ beliefs, actions, and outcomes after taking the course, and their plans for acquiring C-STEAM interdisciplinary knowledge and learning Chinese local culture. Results: The integration of the Shangshan culture (上山文化) into the Packaging Design course proved the importance and significance of adding C-STEAM to the art design course, which helped us understand the specific feelings of students after completing the course and gain a deeper understanding of the changes in their knowledge and skills and their learning effects. Discussion: Integrating C-STEAM education into courses related to art and design is highly warranted to encourage students to apply their interdisciplinary knowledge to artistic exploration and creation. Moreover, to effectively develop a curriculum system with local characteristics, teachers should provide more opportunities for students to explore and learn C-STEAM in the future, and integrate multiple elements into their teaching. Enhancing the technical methods of teaching physical instruction in the information age and building an ideal guarantee system for teaching physical instruction reform and innovation are essential components of higher education development. The construction path of the physical literacy teaching reform guarantee system is presented in this paper, along with the development of an evaluation model for the effects of physical instruction reform teaching. This model serves as the basis for evaluating the impact following the implementation of the physical instruction teaching reform. The assessment model relies on the hierarchy analysis approach, which also establishes the second-level fuzzy complete judgment matrix, creates the rubric set for the assessment of the teaching reform effect, and demonstrates the weight value of each indicator in the evaluation model. With respect to the research object in the case analysis of the CA University physical instruction teaching reformation effect, the evaluation’s overall rating is 0.693, and it receives a “good” grade. The application of artificial intelligence technology in language learning, especially English teaching, is subverting the traditional learning mode. This paper discusses in depth the innovative strategies of English practical teaching in higher vocational colleges. It introduces an AI-assisted teaching system that synthesizes the reasoning mechanism, the student independent learning system and the mathematical model of knowledge forgetting. Through practical application, this study verifies the effectiveness of the system. The results showed that the grades of all students who used the AI system and had an average score of more than 60 did not decrease. There was a significant linear relationship between students’ engagement and grade improvement, indicating that the more serious the students were, the more influential the grade improvement was. In addition, there is a positive correlation between exam difficulty, passing rate and the number of high scores, and a negative correlation with the number of scores below 60, which verifies the reasonableness of the correlation coefficient. Students’ foreign language learning pleasure, burnout and self-efficacy have significant mean differences between the two classes, with p-values less than 0.05, indicating substantial differences. These findings confirm the effectiveness of the AI-assisted teaching system and provide valuable references for future teaching models.

The construction of new liberal arts requires college English teaching to introduce new concepts, utilize new technologies, and promote students’ effective learning through the intersection of disciplines and curricula, to cultivate integrative talents with innovative and practical abilities. Under the perspective of new liberal arts, this paper integrates deep commonality and uniqueness knowledge mining multimodal clustering, DCUMC algorithmic model and multimodal teaching means to construct a multimodal analysis model framework and reform the English teaching model in colleges and universities. In addition, the information entropy is used to improve the ID3 algorithm to construct multidimensional evaluation indexes for college English teaching, and the improved ID3 algorithm is used for data mining of multidimensional evaluation so that teachers can adjust the teaching progress and difficulty according to real-time and accurate feedback information. Experiments are conducted on multimodal teaching mode and teaching evaluation, and the experimental results show that compared with the traditional teaching mode, the average scores of multimodal English teaching mode after five months are 96 and 85, which is an improvement of 11 points, 69.58%, 67.93%, 56.25%, and 53.79% higher in the ratio of excellent and good evaluations, respectively. Compared to the single teaching evaluation, the multidimensional evaluation points out that the traditional teaching mode needs more designer-student interaction as well as a reduction in the difficulty of the teaching content. In conclusion, the multimodal English teaching model can effectively improve teaching effectiveness and is implementable.

This paper firstly researches the reform and innovation of higher vocational dance choreography teaching under the background of new media and puts forward the reform and innovation suggestions of higher vocational dance choreography teaching according to the structure and thinking steps of higher vocational dance choreography teaching. Then, research on dance choreography teaching based on virtual environment technology, using quaternion interpolation to define the distance between dance action frames in dance choreography teaching video, selecting public frames of dance choreography teaching video based on the definition of dance action, articulating the keyframes of dance action according to splicing the dance action sequences and analyzing the research on innovation of higher vocational dance choreography teaching. The results showed that in posture, the P-value of students’ shoulder, torso, sitting, standing, walking, and overall posture were less than 0.01, with highly significant differences. In terms of students’ aesthetics, the P value of students’ aesthetic sensibility was 0.026, P0.05, and aesthetic creativity P=0.063>0.05, which shows that students in the control class got a significant improvement in aesthetic sensibility. This study plays a certain role in inspiring and leading generalization for the teaching of dance choreography.

The rapidly developing big data technology not only directly affects people’s work and life but also plays a greater role in promoting the direction of education. This paper introduces online teaching methods to traditional teaching methods, constituting a hybrid online and offline teaching method, and optimizes the reform of business English teaching objectives, contents and processes. After pre-processing the teaching evaluation indexes, the rough set method based on big data technology is used to mine the association rules of teaching data. The principal component analysis evaluation method was used to evaluate the structure of the mined teaching data set. And the changes in teaching evaluation index values obtained by the principal component analysis method were used as the basis for determining the effectiveness of the business English teaching reform. The experiment proved that: aS10 students in group A with the worst business English level increased their teaching level value from 1.004 to 1.224 after the general reform, an increase of 20.77%. After the online and offline hybrid reform, the teaching level value increased from 1.004 to 1.306, an increase of 22.72%. This shows that the reformed business English teaching mode has deepened the reform and innovation of business English teaching through the full use of big data technology, improved the comprehensive English ability and literacy of the majority of students, and laid a solid foundation for the future development of students’ working career.

In this paper, we first construct a framework of subject knowledge mapping for teaching and learning reforms in higher education courses, automate the supervision of the proposed optimized CLSTM-GAT model for extracting and recognizing the texts of teaching and learning reforms in higher education courses using remote supervision, and propose a storage architecture for domain subgraphs to save storage space. The feasibility of the proposed model and architecture is evaluated through experiments. The visualization and analysis of the teaching reform of college courses based on the knowledge graph reveals that the frequency and centrality values of the subject term “teaching reform” in the research vocabulary are 10526 and 0.29, respectively, and that the value of the expansion coefficient of “local colleges and universities” is 17.5466. 17.5466, with 10 years, are the highest. Recently, two-dimensional materials (2DM) have garnered considerable interest in the field of membrane separation owing to their distinctive microstructure and chemical properties. However, membrane fouling still limits the further application of 2DM in wastewater treatment. This work designed and constructed a series of novel composite membranes by introducing the photocatalyst NH2-MIL-88B (Fe) into the structure of 2D material MXene (Ti3C2TX) nanosheets. The membranes not only improved their ability to remove various dyes from wastewater but also achieved in-situ degradation of pollutants on the membrane surface and inner structure, demonstrating its self-cleaning ability. This work solved the critical technical problem of MXene-based membrane fouling, providing a good reference for its further practical application. In addition, it also developed a comprehensive experiment that involves principles of materials science, chemical separation, and environmental protection. By reforming the original experimental design, it is helpful for college students to master interdisciplinary basic knowledge, cultivating their innovation and practical ability. The reform of tertiary education teaching promotes teachers to adjust timely teaching plans based on students' learning feedback in order to improve teaching performance. Thefore, learning score prediction is a key issue in process of the reform of tertiary education teaching. With the development of information and management technologies, a lot of teaching data are generated as the scale of online and offline education expands. However, a teacher or educator does not have a comprehensive dataset in practice, which challenges his/her ability to predict the students' learning performance from the individual's viewpoint. How to overcome the drawbacks of small samples is an open issue. To this end, it is desirable that an effective artificial intelligent tool is designed to help teachers or educators predict students' scores well. We propose a boosting and decision-tree-regression-based score prediction (BDTR-SP) model, which relies on an ensemble learning structure with base learners of decision tree regression (DTR) to improve the prediction accuracy. Experiments on small samples are conducted to examine the important features that affect students' scores. The results show that the proposed model has advantages over its peer in terms of prediction correctness. Moreover, the predicted results are consistent with the actual facts implied in the original dataset. The proposed BDTR-SP method aids teachers and students to predict students' performance in the on-going courses in order to adjust the teaching and learning strategies, plans and practices in advance, enhancing the teaching and learning quality. This study began by analyzing the importance of financial engineering practice instruction and graduate employability in the post-epidemic era. Second, the study proposed the content and a plan for inter-disciplinary teaching reform to address talent cultivation needs based on labor market requirements. Third, a face-to-face survey and interview were conducted with students affected by changes in teaching, and the results were analyzed and summarized. On this basis, the impact of education reform was evaluated using both the expert scoring method and the analytic hierarchy approach. The results indicated that the suggested financial engineering teaching reform program improved the school's discipline strength, enrollment rate, employment rate, and competition awards, especially discipline strength. This research can be used to inform the teaching of financial engineering majors in various countries, assist job candidates in enhancing their professional skills, and build a formidable talent pool for the labor market. Food Nutriology is one of the main course for students of Food Science in South China Agricultural University. In the continuous application and development of network technology, the reform in Internet information will inevitably bring about major changes in college education and teaching. Based on this background, the paper puts forward the influence of ‘Internet+’ on art design education. At the same time, the article explores the influence factors of the Internet on art design teaching based on the non-linear equation model. We use the parameterised cubic clipping algorithm to find the roots of non-polynomial equations. Through performance analysis and comparison, it is found that the root-finding algorithm proposed by us has better parallelism and lower-storage requirements. This algorithm has certain advantages in solving the weight of the factors that influence the Internet to art design teaching.

The COVID-19 pandemic has created a fundamental shift in the Chinese education system, which has compelled teachers and students to accommodate the process of online learning in a short period of time. Accompanied by the advancement of information technology and the emergence of small private online courses (SPOCs), a variety of online programs containing a wealth of new materials and novel pedagogical approaches have emerged. However, there is a lack of awareness among researchers about the efficacy of utilizing shared SPOCs in teaching at conventional universities. Flipped classroom model (FCM) can make up for this defect. This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of flipped learning on the basis of SPOC and to suggest explicit criteria for its reuse in conventional college education. We carried out a quasi-experiment in a course on inorganic chemistry and examined findings with regard to the engagement and performance of the learners. We also conducted a post-task questionnaire and interviews to examine the experiences of the students so that those experiences could be incorporated into the design and study plan for flipped learning based on SPOCs. It was shown that the average performance of students in the flipped SPOC-based classroom was superior to that of students in the traditional classroom. Furthermore, the combination of quantitative and qualitative data showed that the majority of students experienced the flipped classroom favorably regarding student interaction, accessible learning resources, and proactive academic outcomes.
