The pursuit of pharmacological interventions in aging aims focuses on maximizing safety and efficacy, prompting an exploration of natural products endowed with inherent medicinal properties. Subsequently, this work establishes a unique library of plant extracts sourced from Yunnan Province, China. Screening of this herbal library herein revealed that Salsola collina (JM10001) notably enhances both lifespan and healthspan in C. elegans. Further analysis via network pharmacology indicates that the p53 signaling pathway plays a crucial role in mediating the anti‐aging effects of JM10001. Additionally, this work identifies that a composition, designated as JM10101 and comprising three chemical constituents of JM10001, preserves the original lifespan‐extending activity in C. elegans. Both JM10001 and JM10101 mitigate aging symptoms in senescence‐accelerated mice treated with doxorubicin and in naturally aged mice. Notably, JM10101 exhibits a more sophisticated senomorphlytic role encompassing both senomorphic and senolytic functions than JM10001 in the modulation of senescent cells, offering a promising strategy for the discovery of combination drugs in the rational development of anti‐aging therapies. Developing non‐platinum group metal catalysts for the sluggish hydrogen oxidation reaction (HOR) is critical for alkaline fuel cells. To date, Ni‐based materials are the most promising candidates but still suffer from insufficient performance. Herein, we report an unconventional hcp/fcc Ni (u‐hcp/fcc Ni) heteronanocrystal with multiple epitaxial hcp/fcc heterointerfaces and coherent twin boundaries, generating rugged surfaces with plenty of asymmetric convex sites. Systematic analyses discover that such convex sites enable the adsorption of *H in unusual bridge positions with weakened binding energy, circumventing the over‐strong *H adsorption on traditional hollow positions, and simultaneously stabilizing interfacial *H2O. It thus synergistically optimizes the HOR thermodynamic process as well as reduces the kinetic barrier of the rate‐determining Volmer step. Consequently, the developed u‐hcp/fcc Ni exhibits the top‐rank alkaline HOR activity with a mass activity of 40.6 mA mgNi−1 (6.3 times higher than fcc Ni control) together with superior stability and high CO‐tolerance. This article is devoted to the event‐triggered practical tracking control for a class of high‐order nonlinear systems with serious uncertainties. Remarkably, the serious uncertainties are greatly reflected from the unknown control directions and input powers which give rise to essential obstacles in control design and hence lead to incapability of the traditional control methods on this topic. To solve the control problem, a novel switching event‐triggered control scheme is proposed by a skillful incorporation of logic‐based switching mechanism into the event‐triggered one. Specifically, two pivotal events are smartly chosen to give the event‐triggered mechanism for the determination of the sampling times. In particular, one of the events is used to give the switching varying mechanism, by which the controller parameters are respectively switched in two groups of sequences which are carefully chosen for the compensation of serious uncertainties. Under the proposed switching event‐triggered mechanism, a state‐feedback controller is designed which guarantees that all the signals of the closed‐loop system are bounded while system output practically tracks the reference signal, along with a finite number of switching of controller parameters as well as the exclusion of the Zeno phenomenon. The reductive amination of 1,6‐hexanediol with ammonia is one of the most promising green routes for synthesis of 1,6‐hexanediamine. Herein, we developed a phosphorous modified Ni catalyst of Ni−P/Al2O3. It presented satisfactory improved selectivity to 1,6‐hexanediamine in the reductive amination of 1,6‐hexanediol compared to the Ni/Al2O3 catalyst. The phosphorous tended to interact with Al2O3 to form AlPOx species, induced Ni nanoparticle to be flatter, and the decrease of strong acid sites, the new‐formed Ni−AlPOx−Al2O3 interface and the flatter Ni nanoparticle were the key to switch the dominating product from hexamethyleneimine to 1,6‐hexanediamine. This work develops an efficient catalyst for production of 1,6‐hexanediamine from the reductive amination of 1,6‐hexanediol, and provides a point of view about designing selective non‐noble metal catalysts for producing primary diamines via reductive amination of diols. Background: Inflammatory cytokines have been reported to be related to intervertebral disc degeneration (IVDD) in several previous studies. However, it remains unclear about the causal relationship between inflammatory cytokines and IVDD. This study employs Mendelian randomization (MR) to analyze the causal link between inflammatory cytokines and the risk of IVDD. Method: We used genetic variants associated with inflammatory cytokines from a meta‐analysis of genome‐wide association study (GWAS) in 8293 Finns as instrumental variables and IVDD data were sourced from the FinnGen consortium. The main analytical approach utilized Inverse‐Variance Weighting (IVW) with random effects to assess the causal relationship. Additionally, complementary methods such as MR‐Egger, weighted median, simple mode, weighted mode, and MR pleiotropy residual sum and outlier were employed to enhance the robustness of the final results. Result: We found interferon‐gamma (IFN‐γ, p = 2.14 × 10–6, OR = 0.870, 95% CI = 0.821–0.921), interleukin‐1 beta (IL‐1b, p = 0.012, OR = 0.951, 95% CI = 0.914–0.989), interleukin‐4 (IL‐4, p = 0.034, OR = 0.946, 95% CI = 0.899–0.996), interleukin‐18 (IL‐18, p = 0.028, OR = 0.964, 95% CI = 0.934–0.996), granulocyte colony‐stimulating factor (GCSF, p = 0.010, OR = 0.919, 95% CI = 0.861–0.980), and Stromal cell‐derived factor 1a (SDF1a, p = 0.014, OR = 1.072, 95% CI = 1.014–1.134) were causally associated with risk of IVDD. Background: Hypertension has been linked to socially patterned stressors, including discrimination. Few studies have quantified the risk of hypertension associated with exposure to perceived job discrimination. Methods: We used prospective cohort data from the Sister Study (enrollment from 2003–2009) to estimate self‐reported incident hypertension associated with perceived job discrimination based on race, gender, age, sexual orientation, or health status. Job discrimination in the prior 5 years was assessed in 2008–2012, and incident doctor‐diagnosed hypertension was ascertained in previously hypertension‐free participants. Results: Among the 16,770 eligible participants aged 37–78 years at the start of follow‐up, 10.5% reported job discrimination in the past 5 years, and 19.2% (n = 3226) reported incident hypertension during a median follow‐up of 9.7 years (interquartile range 8.2–11.0 years). Self‐reported poor health or inclusion in minoritized groups based on race/ethnicity or sexual orientation were more frequent among those reporting job discrimination. In a Cox proportional hazards model adjusting for covariates, report of at least one type of job discrimination (compared to none) was associated with a 14% (hazard ratio = 1.14 [95% confidence: 1.02–1.27]) higher hypertension risk. Results from sensitivity analyses reinforced the findings. Conclusions: Results suggest that interventions addressing job discrimination could have workplace equity and health benefits. Background: The International Myeloma Working Group (IMWG) consensus criteria for response assessment in multiple myeloma (MM) has methodological limitations. Whole‐body diffusion‐weighted imaging (DWI) with apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) histogram analysis may be complementary to response assessment of MM. Purpose: To explore the role of histogram analysis of the ADC based on the total tumor volume (ttADC) in response assessment in patients with newly diagnosed MM (NDMM). Study Type: Retrospective. Population: Thirty‐six patients with NDMM. Field Strength/Sequence: 3.0T/single‐shot DWI echo planar imaging (EPI) sequence with an integrated slice‐by‐slice shimming (iShim) technique. Assessment: Baseline (median: 1 day before treatment) and post‐treatment (median: five cycles of therapy) whole‐body DWI were analyzed. A region of interest (ROI) containing lesions on every section of baseline image was drawn to derive the per‐patient total tumor data. Post‐treatment image analysis was based on the same ROI as the corresponding baseline. Histogram metrics were extracted from both ROIs. Patients were categorized into the very good partial response or better (VGPR+) group and the less than VGPR group per the IMWG response criteria for response assessment. Progression‐free survival (PFS) was also calculated. Statistical Tests: Mann–Whitney test and Fisher's exact or Chi‐squared tests, Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) analysis and DeLong test, Kaplan–Meier analysis and Cox proportional hazards model. A two‐tailed P‐value <0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results: Thirty patients were categorized into the VGPR+ group and six into the less than VGPR group. The ttADC histogram changes between post‐treatment and baseline metrics (ΔttADC) revealed significant differences in all percentile values between the VGPR+ and less than VGPR groups. For distinguishing VGPR+, ΔttADC_5th percentile had the largest area under the curve (AUC) (0.950, 95% CI 0.821–0.995). Patients with lower ΔttADC_5th percentile values (cutoff point, 188.193) showed significantly longer PFS (HR = 34.911, 95% CI 6.392–190.677). Digital light processing (DLP) provides a promising avenue for constructing ceramic parts with high precision and complex shapes, yet the inherent brittleness and strength‐toughness trade‐off hinder their wide applications. Here, according to DLP 3D printing, the textured alumina ceramic components with horizontally aligned textured microstructure were successfully created by adding anisotropically shaped platelets. As a critical process in the preparation of textured ceramics, the alumina platelets were aligned horizontally during printing by using the special shear fields and forming capabilities of DLP technology. The shrinkage, density, microstructure, mechanical performance, and damage‐tolerance behavior of alumina parts with different platelet concentrations were examined, and the toughening mechanisms were investigated. The strength and toughness of ceramics with 5 vol.% platelet addition are increased by 22% and 43%, respectively, as compared with those without platelets. The improved damage tolerance capabilities were primarily ascribed to the collaborative toughening mechanisms stimulated by the platelet addition, including crack branching, crack deflection, uncracked‐ligament bridging, and platelet pull‐out, which increased the crack tortuosity and consumed more fracture energy. The rapid rise of antibiotic resistance and slow discovery of new antibiotics have threatened global health. While novel phage lysins have emerged as potential antibacterial agents, experimental screening methods for novel lysins pose significant challenges due to the enormous workload. Here, the first unified software package, namely DeepLysin, is developed to employ artificial intelligence for mining the vast genome reservoirs ("dark matter") for novel antibacterial phage lysins. Putative lysins are computationally screened from uncharacterized Staphylococcus aureus phages and 17 novel lysins are randomly selected for experimental validation. Seven candidates exhibit excellent in vitro antibacterial activity, with LLysSA9 exceeding that of the best‐in‐class alternative. The efficacy of LLysSA9 is further demonstrated in mouse bloodstream and wound infection models. Therefore, this study demonstrates the potential of integrating computational and experimental approaches to expedite the discovery of new antibacterial proteins for combating increasing antimicrobial resistance. Promoting the hydrogen oxidation reaction (HOR) activity and poisoning tolerance of electrocatalysts is crucial for the large‐scale application of hydrogen‐oxygen fuel cell. However, it is severely hindered by the scaling relations among different intermediates. Herein, lattice‐contracted Pt−Rh in ultrasmall ternary L12‐(Pt0.9Rh0.1)3V intermetallic nanoparticles (~2.2 nm) were fabricated to promote the HOR performances through an oxides self‐confined growth strategy. The prepared (Pt0.9Rh0.1)3V displayed 5.5/3.7 times promotion in HOR mass/specific activity than Pt/C in pure H2 and dramatically limited activity attenuation in 1000 ppm CO/H2 mixture. In situ Raman spectra tracked the superior anti‐CO* capability as a result of compressive strained Pt, and the adsorption of oxygen‐containing species was promoted due to the dual‐functional effect. Further assisted by density functional theory calculations, both the adsorption of H* and CO* on (Pt0.9Rh0.1)3V were reduced compared with that of Pt due to lattice contraction, while the adsorption of OH* was enhanced by introducing oxyphilic Rh sites. Nitrile‐aminothiol conjugation (NATC) stands out as a promising biocompatible ligation technique due to its high chemo‐selectivity. Herein we investigated the reactivity and substrate scope of NAT conjugation chemistry, thus developing a novel pH dependent orthogonal NATC as a valuable tool for chemical biology. The study of reaction kinetics elucidated that the combination of heteroaromatic nitrile and aminothiol groups led to the formation of an optimal bioorthogonal pairing, which is pH dependent. This pairing system was effectively utilized for sequential and dual conjugation. Subsequently, these rapid (≈1 h) and high yield (>90 %) conjugation strategies were successfully applied to a broad range of complex biomolecules, including oligonucleotides, chelates, small molecules and peptides. The effectiveness of this conjugation chemistry was demonstrated by synthesizing a fluorescently labelled antimicrobial peptide‐oligonucleotide complex as a dual conjugate to imaging in live cells. This first‐of‐its‐kind sequential NATC approach unveils unprecedented opportunities in modern chemical biology, showcasing exceptional adaptability in rapidly creating structurally complex bioconjugates. Breast cancer has been the most common cancer and the most prevalent tumor in women worldwide. However, a rapid, sensitive, and painless test for breast cancer has not yet been discovered. Aptamers, as sensitive molecular recognition elements, which can specifically recognize target molecules and be used in the early diagnosis of cancer. In this study, aptamers of proteins secreted by MCF‐7 breast cancer cells were screened using Med‐SELEX technology. According to the enrichment degree and homology of aptamers, the aptamer family tree was constructed. The structure of the aptamers and the docking results with the targets were then predicted. Aptamer affinity and specificity were determined by qPCR, and the optimal aptamer AY 20 was obtained. Colloidal gold colorimetry confirmed that AY20 had high specificity for breast cancer cell culture media. Therefore, the aptamer AY20 can be used as an early diagnostic tool for breast cancer. The bonding effects between 3d transition‐metal single sites and supports originate from crystal field stabilization energy (CFSE). The 3d transition‐metal atoms of the spontaneous geometrical distortions, that is the Jahn–Teller effect, can alter CFSE, thereby leading to the Irving–Williams series. However, engineering single‐atom sites (SASs) using the Irving–Williams series as an ideal guideline has not been reported to date. Herein, alkynyl‐linked covalent phenanthroline frameworks (CPFs) with phenanthroline units are developed to anchor the desired 3d single metal ions from d5 to d10 (Mn2+, Fe3+, Co2+, Ni2+, Cu2+, and Zn2+). The Irving–Williams series was employed to accurately predict the bonding effects between 3d transition‐metal atoms and phenanthroline units. To verify this, theoretical calculations and experimental results reveal that Cu‐SASs/CPFs exhibits higher stability and faster charge‐transfer efficiency, far surpassing other metal‐SASs/CPFs. As expected, Cu‐SASs/CPFs demonstrates a high photoreduction of CO2‐to‐CO activity (~30.3 μmol ⋅ g−1 ⋅ h−1) and an exceptional photooxidation of CH3CHO‐to‐CH3COOH activity (~24.7 μmol ⋅ g−1 ⋅ h−1). Interestingly, the generated *O2− is derived from the process of CO2 reduction, thereby triggering a CH3CHO oxidation reaction. Objective Methods Results Conclusion Postmenopausal changes in bone mass and structure compromise the mechanical properties of proximal humerus, predisposing it to low‐energy fractures with complex morphology. The aim of the study is to investigate associations of bone quality and estimated bone strength of the surgical neck with age after menopause.A total of 122 healthy postmenopausal women were recruited from December 2016 to December 2022 and assigned to three groups: the 50–59 years group, the 60–69 years group, and the older than 70 years group. Bone properties of the surgical neck, including volumetric bone mineral density (vBMD), cortical thickness (CTh), the periosteal and medullary size, and estimated indices of bone strength were evaluated by quantitative computed tomography.Compared to the 50–59 years group, postmenopausal women aged over 70 years were characterized by lower cortical thickness (13.9%) and vBMD (6.65%), as well as reduced strength indices including the minimum and maximum section modulus (Zmin 18.11%, Zmax 21.71%), polar section modulus (Zpol 20.21%), and the minimum and maximum second moments of area (Imax 21.01%, Imin 21.43%). Meanwhile, the difference in periosteal diameter and perimeter, total area in three groups did not reach statistical significance. Both cortical thickness and vBMD value were inversely associated with age, showing 10.56% and 23.92% decline. Imax showed the greatest age‐related decrease between age of 54 and 86 years (39.08%), followed by Zmax (−35.77%), Imin (−35.73%), Zpol (−34.90%) and Imin (−23.92%).The strength indices had stronger correlations with cortical thickness than with bone size or density.In postmenopausal women, aging is associated with a significant decline in cortical bone thickness and mechanical strength of the proximal humerus, especially over the age of 70 years. Sb2S3 has been extensively used as light absorber for photoelectrochemical cell. However, its p‐type nature may result in the formation of Schottky junction with substrates, thus hindering the collection of photogenerated holes. Herein, an ultrathin CuxS layer is successfully engineered as the bottom junction for Sb2S3 for the first time. Capitalizing on its impressive electrical properties and superior optical properties, the CuxS layer exhibits a high work function of 4.90 eV, which causes the upward band bending of p‐type Sb2S3, forming a hole‐transparent structure with ohmic contact. The transparency of the ultrathin CuxS layer enables back‐illumination of the Sb2S3/CuxS platform, facilitating the integration of intricate catalyst layers for photoelectrochemical transformation. When modified with Pt nanoparticles, the photocurrent density reaches −5.38 mA cm−2 at 0 V vs. RHE, marking a fourfold increase compared to the photocathode without CuxS layer. When introducing a molecular hybrid TC‐CoPc@carbon black, a remarkable average photocurrent density of −0.44 mA cm−2 at the overpotential of 0 V is obtained for CO2 reduction reaction, while the photocurrent density is less than −0.03 mA cm−2 without CuxS. Summary: Studies on asparaginase enzyme activity (AEA) monitoring in Chinese patients receiving PEG‐asparaginase remain limited. We monitored AEA in paediatric patients diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) and treated according to the Chinese Children's Cancer Group study protocols, CCCG‐ALL‐2015/CCCG‐ALL‐2020 protocols. We measured the AEA at days 7 ± 1 and 14 ± 1 and analysed their association with patient characteristics and PEG‐asparaginase‐related adverse effects (AEs). We measured 2147 samples from 329 patients. Mean AEA levels (interquartile range) were 931 iu/L (654–1174 iu/L) at day 7 ± 1 and 664 iu/L (463–860 iu/L) at day 14 ± 1. The AEA levels were higher in younger children and increased with the cumulative dose numbers. PEG‐asparaginase inactivation rate was 19.1%, and the silent inactivation (SI) rate was 12.5%. Nine patients were identified with allergic‐like reactions. Hypofibrinogenaemia, hypertriglyceridaemia, pancreatitis and thrombosis were associated with older age, whereas hypoglycaemia was associated with younger age. The risk of hypertriglyceridaemia and hypoglycaemia increased with cumulative dose numbers of PEG‐asparaginase. Except for hypofibrinogenaemia, elevated AEA levels did not increase the risk of PEG‐asparaginase‐related AEs. Drug monitoring can be utilized as guidance for treatment decision‐making. During electro‐osmotic consolidation, effective voltage attenuation induced by the increasing interface resistance is an important phenomenon, which significantly decreases consolidation effectiveness. This paper presents an analytical model for one‐dimensional electro‐osmotic consolidation in layered soils with horizontal graphite electrodes considering effective voltage attenuation. The mathematical model is characterized by time‐dependent source term and discontinuous interface flux. New variables are introduced to homogenize the discontinuous interface flux and Green's function method is used to solve the new nonhomogeneous governing equations with nonhomogeneous boundaries. Several verification examples are conducted using the existing analytical solution and numerical results. Parametric studies indicate that electro‐osmotic consolidation of layered soils cannot be accurately simulated by equivalent homogeneous soil, whether effective voltage attenuation is considered or not. Furthermore, the backflow phenomenon may occur due to effective voltage attenuation, while it may disappear when the anode is placed in the low‐permeability layer. In addition, the optimal arrangement of electrodes in layered soils is also investigated. When the ratio of the thickness of low‐permeability layer to high‐permeability layer is about 1/3, installing the cathode in the low‐permeability layer can improve the electro‐osmosis effect up to two times, compared with installing the anode in the low‐permeability layer. BACKGROUND: The tomato leafminer, Phthorimaea absoluta (Meyrick) (Lepidoptera: Gelechiidae), is a destructive invasive pest that originated in South America and has spread within China since 2017. A rapid method for on‐site identification of P. absoluta is urgently needed for interception of this pest across China. RESULTS: We developed a loop‐mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) technique to differentiate P. absoluta from Liriomyza sativae, Chromatomyia horticola, and Phthorimaea operculella using extracted genomic DNA, which was then refined to create an on‐site LAMP diagnostic method that can be performed under field conditions without the need for laboratory equipment. BACKGROUND: To further develop potential natural fungicides, two series of new acrylopimaric acid triazole derivatives were synthesized, and their antifungal activities were tested and evaluated. RESULTS: In vitro antifungal activity results indicated that compound 5m exhibited significant inhibitory activity against Rhizoctonia solani with an half maximal effective concentration (EC50) value of 1.528 mg/L. Its antifungal effect was comparable to that of the commercially available fungicide fluconazole, epoxiconazole and propiconazole (EC50 values of 1.441, 0.815 and 1.173 mg/L). Subsequently, in vivo studies were conducted on compound 5m, which revealed its significant protective and curative effects against R. solani. In addition, physiological and biochemical studies showed that compound 5m could disrupt the morphology and ultrastructure of R. solani mycelium, increase cell membrane permeability, inhibit ergosterol synthesis, and enhance the activity of defense enzymes in rice plants. Three‐dimensional quantitative structure–activity relationship (3D‐QSAR) studies revealed that the molecular structure significantly influenced the binding of compound 5m to the receptor, thereby enhancing its antifungal activity. BACKGROUND: Pine wood nematode (PWN; Bursaphelenchus xylophilus) is the causative agent of pine wilt disease (PWD), which is considered the most dangerous biohazard to conifer trees globally. The transmission of PWN relies on insect vectors, particularly the Japanese pine sawyer (JPS; Monochamus alternatus). However, the molecular mechanism underlying PWN‐JPS assembly remains largely unknown. RESULTS: Here, we found that both geographical and gender could significantly affect the PCA (PWN carrying amount) of JPS; thus, JPS transcriptomes from diverse locations and genders were explored regard to PWN loading. Due to the shortage of genomes, we developed a full‐length reference transcriptome for analyzing next‐generation sequencing data. A comparative genomic study was performed, and 11 248 potential PWN‐carrying associate genes (β) were nominated in JPS by using the reported genomes of PWN and non‐PWN carrier insect species. Then, 151 differentially expressed transcripts (DETs), 28 of them overlapped with β, correlated with the PCA of JPS were nominated by RNA‐Seq, and found that fatty acid β‐oxidation might be the key factor that affected the PCA of JPS. Furthermore, JPS fatty acid β‐oxidation rates were experimentally decreased using the inhibitor Etomoxir, leading to an increased PCA of JPS. Meanwhile, silencing MaCPT1 in JPS by RNA interference led to a decreased fatty acid β‐oxidation rate and increased PCA of JPS. CONCLUSIONS: In conclusion, MaCPT1 was able to decrease the PWN‐JPS assembly formation through the fatty acid β‐oxidation of JPS. Objective: Hospital‐acquired infections are a common complication for patients with moderate or severe traumatic brain injury (TBI), contributing to morbidity and mortality. As infection‐mediated immune responses can predispose towards epilepsy, we hypothesized that post‐injury hospital‐acquired infections increase the risk of post‐traumatic epilepsy (PTE). Methods: A retrospective cohort study of adults with moderate to severe TBI was conducted using data from the Victorian State Trauma Registry in Australia. Infections were identified from the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems 10th Revision–Australian Modification (ICD‐10‐AM) codes, and diagnosis of PTE was determined by the Glasgow Outcome Scale – Extended questionnaire regarding epileptic fits at 24 months follow‐up. Results: Of all TBI patients (n = 15 152), 24% had evidence of having had any type of infection, with the most common being pneumonia, urinary tract, and respiratory infections. Of those who responded to the PTE question at 24 months (n = 1361), 11% had developed PTE. Univariable analysis found that the incidence of PTE was higher in patients who had any type of infection compared to patients without an infection (p < 0.001). After adjustment for covariates associated with both development of PTE and risk of infection, multivariable analysis found a solid association between infection and PTE (adjusted RR = 1.59; 95% CI: 1.11–2.28; p = 0.011). Having any type of complicating infection acquired during admission was also associated with poor GOSE outcomes at subsequent follow‐ups (adjusted OR = 0.20; 95% CI: 0.11–0.35, p < 0.001). Significance: These findings suggest that hospital‐acquired infections contribute to PTE development after TBI. Future investigation into infections as a modifiable target to reduce poor outcomes after TBI is warranted. Enteroviruses cause a wide range of disorders with varying presentations and severities, and some enteroviruses have emerged as serious public health concerns. These include Coxsackievirus B3 (CVB3), an active causative agent of viral myocarditis, and Coxsackievirus B4 (CVB4), which may accelerate the progression of type 1 diabetes. The 3C proteases from CVB3 and CVB4 play important roles in the propagation of these viruses. In this study, the 3C proteases from CVB3 and CVB4 were expressed in Escherichia coli and purified by affinity chromatography and gel‐filtration chromatography. The crystals of the CVB3 and CVB4 3C proteases diffracted to 2.10 and 2.01 Å resolution, respectively. The crystal structures were solved by the molecular‐replacement method and contained a typical chymotrypsin‐like fold and a conserved His40–Glu71–Cys147 catalytic triad. Comparison with the structures of 3C proteases from other enteroviruses revealed high similarity with minor differences, which will guide the design of 3C‐targeting inhibitors with broad‐spectrum properties. This paper investigates the cluster synchronization of fractional‐order complex networks. Considering that impulsive control can reduce the update of controller, and the appearance of impulse is always dependent on each node in the networks instead of appearing at fixed instant, thus we design a variable‐time impulsive controller to control the considered networks. Foremost, several assumptions are proposed to guarantee the every solution of coupled error networks intersect each discontinuous impulsive surface exactly once. In addition, by utilizing the B‐equivalence method and the theory of fractional calculus, the variable‐time impulsive fractional‐order system is reduced to a fixed‐time impulsive fractional‐order system, which can be regarded as the comparison system of the former. Next, under the framework of 1‐norm, some sufficient conditions are presented to ensure that fractional‐order system and target trajectory ultimately achieve cluster synchronization. A mounting body of evidences suggests that patients with chronic heart failure (HF) frequently experience cognitive impairments, but the neuroanatomical mechanism underlying these impairments remains elusive. In this retrospective study, 49 chronic HF patients and 49 healthy controls (HCs) underwent brain structural MRI scans and cognitive assessments. Cortical morphology index (cortical thickness, complexity, sulcal depth and gyrification) were evaluated. Correlations between cortical morphology and cognitive scores and clinical variables were explored. Logistic regression analysis was employed to identify risk factors for predicting 3‐year major adverse cardiovascular events. Compared with HCs, patients with chronic HF exhibited decreased cognitive scores (p <.001) and decreased cortical thickness, sulcal depth and gyrification in brain regions involved cognition, sensorimotor, autonomic nervous system (family‐wise error correction, all p values <.05). Notably, HF duration and New York Heart Association (NYHA) demonstrated negative correlations with abnormal cortex morphology, particularly HF duration and thickness in left precentral gyrus (r = −.387, p =.006). Cortical morphology characteristics exhibited positive associations with global cognition, particularly cortical thickness in left pars opercularis (r =.476, p <.001). NYHA class is an independent risk factor for adverse outcome (p =.001). The observed correlation between abnormal cortical morphology and global cognition suggested that cortical morphology may serve as a promising imaging biomarker and provide insights into neuroanatomical underpinnings of cognitive impairment in patients with chronic HF. Sustainable carbon dots comprising surficial oxime ester groups following homolytic bond cleavage exhibit potential as photoinitiators for traditional free radical photopolymerization. Carbon dots were made following a solvothermal procedure from sustainable furfural available from lignocellulose. Surficial aldehyde moieties reacted with hydroxylamine to the respective oxime while reaction with benzoyl chloride resulted in a biobased Type I photoinitiator comprising sustainable carbon dot (CD‐PI). Photoinitiating ability was compared with the traditional photoinitiator (PI) ethyl (2,4,6‐trimethyl benzoyl) phenyl phosphinate (TPO‐L) by real‐time FTIR with UV exposure at 365 nm. Photopolymer composition based on a mixture of urethane dimethacrylate (UDMA) and tripropylene glycol diacrylate (TPGDA) resulted in a similar final conversion of about 70 % using either CD‐PI or TPO‐L. Nevertheless, it appeared homogeneous in the case of compositions processed with CD‐PI, while those made with TPO‐L were heterogeneous as shown by two glass transition temperatures. Toughening thermo‐setting resins with both high impact strength and tensile strength is a challenging issue. In this study, a novel cross‐linked polyurethane nano spheres for toughening epoxy resin were prepared by self‐emulsification method with hexamethylene diisocyanate trimer (HDI trimer) and diethylene triamine (DETA) as the crosslinkers. The structure, morphology and particle size of cross‐linked polyurethane nano spheres were investigated by infrared spectroscopy, laser particle size analyzer and scanning electron microscopy. Results showed that the prepared cross‐linked polyurethane nano spheres showed spherical shape and had the size in the range from 40 to 258 nm. The application of cross‐linked polyurethane nano spheres in toughing epoxy resin was investigated. The results showed that cross‐linked polyurethane nano spheres can be uniformly dispersed in epoxy resin and no obvious aggregation phenomenon was observed. And the tensile strength and impact strength of epoxy resin can be increased simultaneously when the cross‐linked polyurethane nano spheres were used in toughening epoxy resin. With the increase of the amount of polyurethane nano spheres in epoxy resin, both the tensile strength and impact strength of epoxy resin had the trend of first increase and then decrease. The amount of HDI trimer in the microspheres had a great impact on their toughening effect on epoxy resin. When the cross‐linked polyurethane nano spheres contained HDI trimer content of 12 wt% and the amount of the nano spheres in epoxy resin was 8 wt%, the impact strength of the epoxy resin can reach as high as 23 kJ/m2, which was 4.33 times that of pristine epoxy resin. And the tensile strength of toughened epoxy resin was 50.7 MPa, which was at same level of that of pristine epoxy resin. Summary: An ultrawideband multiple‐input‐multiple‐output (MIMO) slot antenna with a small size and high isolation is introduced. Two multi‐stepped microstrip lines are used to feed the MIMO antenna and the ground plane is designed in a defective structure for achieving good impedance matching in an ultrawide frequency range. A 3T‐shaped strip is utilized to diminish the coupling between the two microstrip feed lines for isolation improvement over the operating band. Two open‐end rectangular slots are attached in the ground plane of the MIMO antenna to generate anti‐phase current for further enhancing the isolation. By using this novel method, a compact ultrawideband MIMO slot antenna is designed and measured. It obtains an ultrawide bandwidth of 162.0%, ranging from 0.63 to 6 GHz, and excellent isolation of beyond 20 dB. Additionally, our MIMO antenna achieves a very low envelope correlation coefficient (ECC) of below 0.005, indicating its good diversity performance. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Perennial trees have a recurring annual cycle of wood formation in response to environmental fluctuations. However, the precise molecular mechanisms that regulate the seasonal formation of wood remain poorly understood. Our prior study indicates that VCM1 and VCM2 play a vital role in regulating the activity of the vascular cambium by controlling the auxin homoeostasis of the cambium zone in Populus. This study indicates that abscisic acid (ABA) affects the expression of VCM1 and VCM2, which display seasonal fluctuations in relation to photoperiod changes. ABA‐responsive transcription factors AREB4 and AREB13, which are predominantly expressed in stem secondary vascular tissue, bind to VCM1 and VCM2 promoters to induce their expression. Seasonal changes in the photoperiod affect the ABA amount, which is linked to auxin‐regulated cambium activity via the functions of VCM1 and VCM2. Thus, the study reveals that AREB4/AREB13‐VCM1/VCM2‐PIN5b acts as a molecular module connecting ABA and auxin signals to control vascular cambium activity in seasonal wood formation. Background: Patient adherence status to the newly introduced family‐based Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection control and management strategy remains unclear, so are its influencing factors. We aim to investigate family members' adherence and its influencing factors during the family‐based H. pylori infection management practice for related disease prevention. Materials and Methods: Based on our previously family‐based H. pylori survey in 2021, 282 families including 772 individuals were followed up 2 years after the initial survey to compare if the investigation and education might improve family member's adherence. The participant's adherence to H. pylori infection awareness, retest, treatment, publicity, gastroscopy, and hygiene habits were followed up, and their influencing factors were also analyzed. Results: The overall participant's adherence to recommendations on H. pylori awareness, retest, treatment, publicity, gastroscopy, and hygiene habits were 77% (187/243), 67.3% (138/205), 60.1% (211/351), 46.5% (107/230), 45.6% (159/349), and 39.1% (213/545), respectively; and all showed improvements compared with their prior survey stages. The top reasons for rejection to treatment, retest, and gastroscopy were forgetting or unaware of H. pylori infection (30.3%), busy (32.8%), and asymptomatic (67.9%), respectively. Independent risk factor for low adherence to treatment was occupation (e.g., staff: OR 4.49, 95% CI 1.34–15.10). Independent favorable factors for treatment adherence were individuals at the ages of 18–44 years (OR 0.19, 95% CI 0.04–0.89) and had a large family size (e.g., four family members: OR 0.15, 95% CI 0.06–0.41); for retest adherence, it was individuals at the ages of 60–69 years (OR 0.23, 95% CI 0.06–0.97); for gastroscopy adherence, it was individuals at the age of 60–69 years (OR 0.46, 95% CI 0.28–0.75), and with gastrointestinal symptoms (OR 0.57, 95% CI 0.36–0.90). Conclusions: Family‐based H. pylori management increases individual adherence to treatment, retest, and awareness, and there are also improved adherence to gastroscopy, publicity, and personal hygiene recommendations; further efforts are required to enhance the individual adherence rate for related disease prevention. Background: Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is recognized as a primary and severe comorbidity in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and is also identified as a leading cause of mortality within this population. Consequently, the identification of novel biomarkers for the risk stratification and progression of CVD in individuals with T2DM is of critical importance. Methods: This retrospective cohort study encompassed 979 patients diagnosed with T2DM, of whom 116 experienced CVD events during the follow‐up period. Clinical assessments and comprehensive blood laboratory analyses were conducted. Age‐ and sex‐adjusted Cox proportional hazard regression analysis was utilized to evaluate the association between lipoprotein‐associated phospholipase A2 (Lp‐PLA2), C1q/tumor necrosis factor‐related protein 3 (CTRP‐3), and the incidence of CVD in T2DM. The diagnostic performance of these biomarkers was assessed through receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis and the computation of the area under the curve (AUC). Results: Over a median follow‐up of 84 months (interquartile range: 42 [32–54] months), both novel inflammatory markers, Lp‐PLA2 and CTRP‐3, and traditional lipid indices, such as low‐density lipoprotein cholesterol and apolipoprotein B, exhibited aberrant expression in the CVD‐afflicted subset of the T2DM cohort. Age‐ and sex‐adjusted Cox regression analysis delineated that Lp‐PLA2 (hazard ratio [HR] = 1.007 [95% confidence interval {CI}: 1.005–1.009], p < 0.001) and CTRP‐3 (HR = 0.943 [95% CI: 0.935–0.954], p < 0.001) were independently associated with the manifestation of CVD in T2DM. ROC curve analysis indicated a substantial predictive capacity for Lp‐PLA2 (AUC = 0.81 [95% CI: 0.77–0.85], p < 0.001) and CTRP‐3 (AUC = 0.91 [95% CI: 0.89–0.93], p < 0.001) in forecasting CVD occurrence in T2DM. The combined biomarker approach yielded an AUC of 0.94 (95% CI: 0.93–0.96), p < 0.001, indicating enhanced diagnostic accuracy. Conclusions: The findings suggest that the biomarkers Lp‐PLA2 and CTRP‐3 are dysregulated in patients with T2DM who develop CVD and that each biomarker is independently associated with the occurrence of CVD. Background: The metastatic vascular patterns of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) are mainly microvascular invasion (MVI) and vessels encapsulating tumor clusters (VETC). However, most existing VETC‐related radiological studies still focus on the prediction of VETC status. Purpose: This study aimed to build and compare VETC‐MVI related models (clinical, radiomics, and deep learning) associated with recurrence‐free survival of HCC patients. Study Type: Retrospective. Population: 398 HCC patients (349 male, 49 female; median age 51.7 years, and age range: 22–80 years) who underwent resection from five hospitals in China. The patients were randomly divided into training cohort (n = 358) and test cohort (n = 40). Field Strength/Sequence: 3‐T, pre‐contrast T1‐weighted imaging spoiled gradient recalled echo (T1WI SPGR), T2‐weighted imaging fast spin echo (T2WI FSE), and contrast enhanced arterial phase (AP), delay phase (DP). Assessment: Two radiologists performed the segmentation of HCC on T1WI, T2WI, AP, and DP images, from which radiomic features were extracted. The RFS related clinical characteristics (VETC, MVI, Barcelona stage, tumor maximum diameter, and alpha fetoprotein) and radiomic features were used to build the clinical model, clinical‐radiomic (CR) nomogram, deep learning model. The follow‐up process was done 1 month after resection, and every 3 months subsequently. The RFS was defined as the date of resection to the date of recurrence confirmed by radiology or the last follow‐up. Patients were followed up until December 31, 2022. Statistical Tests: Univariate COX regression, least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO), Kaplan–Meier curves, log‐rank test, C‐index, and area under the curve (AUC). P < 0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results: The C‐index of deep learning model achieved 0.830 in test cohort compared with CR nomogram (0.731), radiomic signature (0.707), and clinical model (0.702). A silicon‐based room temperature (RT) continuous wave (CW) operation quantum well (QW) laser emitting at 850 nm is reported in this article. By applying the dislocation filter superlattice, the threading dislocation density of the GaAs pseudosubstrate on Si is reduced to 1.8 × 107 cm−2. The metal‐organic chemical vapor deposition‐grown laser structure with GaAs/GaAsP QW and InAlAs active region dislocation blocking layer are fabricated into broad‐stripe Fabry–Perot laser diodes. A typical threshold current and threshold current density of 286 mA and 715 Acm−2 are obtained with 2 mm cavity length and 20 um stripe width samples. A 94.2 mW single‐facet output power lasing around 854 nm and a 0.314 WA−1 slope efficiency is measured under RT CW operation. After a 10‐min aging process, the tested laser can operate stably under continuous operation conditions at RT and the lifetime can be approximated using an exponential fitting curve, indicating a good life reliability of this QW laser. Combination therapy with anti‐HER2 agents and immunotherapy has demonstrated significant clinical benefits in gastric cancer (GC), but the underlying mechanism remains unclear. In this study, we used multiplex immunohistochemistry to assess the changes of the tumor microenvironment in 47 advanced GC patients receiving anti‐HER2 therapy. Additionally, we performed single‐cell transcriptional sequencing to investigate potential cell‐to‐cell communication and molecular mechanisms in four HER2‐positive GC baseline samples. We observed that post‐treated the infiltration of NK cells, CD8+ T cells, and B lymphocytes were significantly higher in patients who benefited from anti‐HER2 treatment than baseline. Further spatial distribution analysis demonstrated that the interaction scores between NK cells and CD8+ T cells, B lymphocytes and M2 macrophages, B lymphocytes and Tregs were also significantly higher in benefited patients. Cell–cell communication analysis from scRNA sequencing showed that NK cells utilized CCL3/CCL4‐CCR5 to recruit CD8+ T cell infiltration. B lymphocytes employed CD74‐APP/COPA/MIF to interact with M2 macrophages, and utilized TNF‐FAS/ICOS/TNFRSR1B to interact with Tregs. These cell–cell interactions contribute to inhibit the immune resistance of M2 macrophages and Tregs. Quantum secret sharing as a privacy‐preserving scheme necessitating collaborative efforts from all participating users to collectively recover encrypted information. This paper introduces a novel dynamic multi‐party to multi‐party quantum secret sharing protocol based on Bell states, enabling secure sharing of secrets among dynamically changing multi‐party. The protocol innovatively employs Bell states combined with simplified local unitary operations, significantly reducing the complexity and enhancing the scalability of practical implementations in quantum communication systems. Particularly, through simulation using IBM's Qiskit framework, its correctness and practicality are confirmed. Security analysis demonstrates that the protocol effectively withstands common attack methods, providing reliability, and security in quantum communication. Damage caused by the rice striped stem borer (SSB), Chilo suppressalis (Walker) (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae), is much more severe on indica/xian rice than on japonica/geng rice (Oryza sativa) which matches pest outbreak data in cropping regions of China. The mechanistic basis of this difference among rice subspecies remains unclear. Using transcriptomic, metabolomic and genetic analyses in combination with insect bioassay experiments, we showed that japonica and indica rice utilise different defence responses to repel SSB, and that SSB exploited plant nutrition deficiencies in different ways in the subspecies. The more resistant japonica rice induced patterns of accumulation of methyl jasmonate (MeJA—part of a defensive pathway) and vitamin B1 (VB1—a nutrition pathway) distinct from indica cultivars. Using gene‐edited rice plants and SSB bioassays, we found that MeJA and VB1 jointly affected the performance of SSB by disrupting juvenile hormone levels. In addition, genetic variants of key biosynthesis genes in the MeJA and VB1 pathways (OsJMT and OsTH1, respectively) differed between japonica and indica rice and contributed to performance differences; in indica rice, SSB avoided the MeJA defence pathway and hijacked the VB1 nutrition‐related pathway to promote development. The findings highlight important genetic and mechanistic differences between rice subspecies affecting SSB damage which could be exploited in plant breeding for resistance. This article investigates the dynamic linkages between agricultural and energy markets, with a focus on an econometric analysis of multivariate stochastic dynamics based on the joint distribution of state variables. The analysis relies on a quantile approach followed by the evaluation of a copula. Applied to nonlinear price dynamics, the approach is flexible and supports a general evaluation of impulse response functions representing how prices adjust over time and across markets in response to a given shock. The analysis allows for arbitrary distribution functions; it captures own‐price and cross‐price dynamics that can depend on the nature of shocks; and it also allows current changes to affect all moments of the future price distributions. The usefulness of the approach is illustrated in an econometric investigation of dynamic linkages in US corn, ethanol, and crude oil markets. We show how price adjustments can vary across quantiles, reflecting different speeds of adjustments depending on market conditions. We find evidence of nonlinear dynamics specific to the tails of the price distributions. We uncover evidence of positive contemporaneous codependence, especially tail dependence. We show how price shocks affect mean, variance, skewness as well as kurtosis of future price distributions. These results stress the importance of going beyond a standard mean‐variance analysis. It is usually believed that doping with photosensitizers capable of generating singlet oxygen (1O2) plays a pivotal role in enhancing the afterglow performance of semiconducting polymer nanoparticles (SPNs). However, the effect of doping photosensitizer bearing electron‐withdrawing groups has not been reported. Here we report the effect of doping with six photosensitizers possessing different electron‐withdrawing groups on the afterglow performance of SPNs using poly[(9,9‐di(2‐ethylhexyl)‐9H‐fluo‐rene‐2,7‐vinylene)‐co‐(1‐methoxy‐4‐(2‐ethylhexyloxy)‐2,5‐phenylenevinylene)] (PF‐MEHPPV) as substrate. It was found that the afterglow performance of SPNs was significantly influenced by doping with photosensitizers bearing electron‐withdrawing groups. For the doped photosensitizers with strong electron‐withdrawing groups, the stronger the electron‐withdrawing ability of the group, the worse of the afterglow performance of the SPN regardless of the 1O2 generation ability of the photosensitizer. When the doped photosensitizer exhibited weak or none electron‐withdrawing effect, the 1O2 generation ability of the photosensitizer played a dominant role on the afterglow performance of the SPNs. N1‐methyladenosine (m1A) modification is one of the most prevalent epigenetic modifications on RNA. Given the vital role of m1A modification in RNA processing such as splicing, stability and translation, developing a precise and controllable m1A editing tool is pivotal for in‐depth investigating the biological functions of m1A. In this study, we developed an abscisic acid (ABA)‐inducible and reversible m1A demethylation tool (termed AI‐dm1A), which targets specific transcripts by combining the chemical proximity‐induction techniques with the CRISPR/dCas13b system and ALKBH3. We successfully employed AI‐dm1A to selectively demethylate the m1A modifications at A8422 of MALAT1 RNA, and this demethylation process could be reversed by removing ABA. Furthermore, we validated its demethylation function on various types of cellular RNAs including mRNA, rRNA and lncRNA. Additionally, we used AI‐dm1A to specifically demethylate m1A on ATP5D mRNA, which promoted ATP5D expression and enhanced the glycolysis activity of tumor cells. Conversely, by replacing the demethylase ALKBH3 with methyltransferase TRMT61A, we also developed a controllable m1A methylation tool, namely AI‐m1A. Finally, we caged ABA by 4,5‐dimethoxy‐2‐nitrobenzyl (DMNB) to achieve light‐inducible m1A methylation or demethylation on specific transcripts. Synthesis of ammonia by electrochemical nitrogen reduction reaction (NRR) is a promising alternative to the Haber–Bosch process. However, it is commonly obstructed by the high activation energy. Here, we report the design and synthesis of an Al−Al bonded dual atomic catalyst stabilized within an amorphous nitrogen‐doped porous carbon matrix (Al2NC) with high NRR performance. The dual atomic Al2‐sites act synergistically to catalyze the complex multiple steps of NRR through adsorption and activation, enhancing the proton‐coupled electron transfer. This Al2NC catalyst exhibits a high Faradaic efficiency of 16.56±0.3 % with a yield rate of 29.22±1.2 μg h−1 mgcat−1. The dual atomic Al2NC catalyst shows long‐term repeatable, and stable NRR performance. This work presents an insight into the identification of synergistic dual atomic catalytic site and mechanistic pathway for the electrochemical conversion of N2 to NH3. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objective: In the era of stereoelectroencephalography (SEEG), many studies have been devoted to understanding the role of interictal high‐frequency oscillations. High‐frequency activity (HFA) at seizure onset has been identified as a marker of epileptogenic zone. We address the physiological significance of ictal HFAs and their relation to clinical semiology. Methods: We retrospectively identified patients with pure focal primary motor epilepsy. We selected only patients in whom SEEG electrodes were optimally placed in the motor cortex as confirmed by electrical stimulation. Based on these narrow inclusion criteria, we extensively studied 5 patients (3 males and 2 females, mean age = 22.4 years) using time–frequency analysis and time correlation with motor signs onset. Results: A total of 157 analyzable seizures were recorded in 5 subjects. The first 2 subjects had tonic or clonic semiology with rare secondary generalization. Subject 3 had atonic onset followed by clonic hand/arm flexion. Subject 4 had clusters of tonic and atonic facial movements. Subject 5 had upper extremity tonic movements. The median frequency of the fast activity extracted from the Epileptogenic Zone Fingerprint pipeline in the first 4 subjects was 76 Hz (interquartile range = 21.9Hz). Positive motor signs did not occur concomitantly with high gamma activity developing in the motor cortex. Motor signs began at the end of HFAs. Interpretation: This study supports the hypothesis of an inhibitory effect of ictal HFAs. The frequency range in the gamma band was associated with the direction of the clinical output effect. We demonstrate directed translocation of ClO4− anions from cationic to neutral binding site along the synthetized BPym‐OH dye molecule that exhibits coupled excited‐state intramolecular proton‐transfer (ESIPT) and charge‐transfer (CT) reaction (PCCT). The results of steady‐state and time‐resolved spectroscopy together with computer simulation and modeling show that in low polar toluene the excited‐state redistribution of electronic charge enhanced by ESIPT generates the driving force, which is much stronger than by CT reaction itself and provides more informative gigantic shifts of fluorescence spectra signaling on ultrafast ion motion. The associated with ion translocation red‐shifted fluorescence band (at 750 nm, extending to near‐IR region) appears at the time ~83 ps as a result of electrochromic modulation of PCCT reaction. It occurs at substantial delay to PCCT that displayed fluorescence band at 640 nm and risetime of <200 fs. Thus, it becomes possible to visualize the manifestations of light‐triggered ion translocation and of its driving force by fluorescence techniques and to separate them in time and energy domains. Purpose: To explore the diagnostic value of intralesional and perilesional radiomics based on multimodal ultrasound (US) images in predicting the malignant ACR TIRADS 4 thyroid nodules (TNs). Methods: A total of 297 cases of TNs in patients who underwent preoperative thyroid grayscale US and shear wave elastography (STE) were enrolled (training cohort: n = 150, internal validation cohort: n = 77, external validation cohort: n = 70). Regions of interests (ROIs) were delineated on grayscale US images and STE images, and then an isotropic expansion of 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, and 3.0 mm was applied. Predictive models were established using recursive feature elimination‐support vector machines (RFE‐SVM) based on radiomics features calculated by random forest. Results: The perilesional ROI1.5mm expansion achieved the highest area under curve (AUC) (AUC: 0.753 for grayscale US, 0.728 for STE; 95% confidence interval (CI): 0.664–0.743, 0.684–0.739, respectively). The joint model had the highest AUC values of 0.936 in the training dataset, 0.926 in internal dataset, and 0.893 in external dataset. The calibration curve showed good consistency and the decision curve indicated a greater clinical net benefit of the joint model. Conclusion: Joint model containing perilesional radiomics (1.5 mm) had significant value in predicting the malignant ACR TIRADS 4 TNs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This article discusses a study on double expressor lymphoma (DEL) subtypes and the therapeutic mechanism of epigenetic agents. The study identified three subtypes of DEL with unique characteristics and found that DEL had an inferior survival compared to double negative lymphoma (DNL). The subtypes of DEL were associated with different cell-of-origin and genetic classifications. The study also analyzed the effects of tucidinostat and doxorubicin treatment on different oncogenic transcriptional factors and signaling networks in these subtypes. The results showed distinct molecular heterogeneity and a complex tumor microenvironment in DEL, which contribute to resistance to standard treatment. However, tucidinostat plus doxorubicin demonstrated broad-spectrum sensitivity in vitro and in vivo. The study provides insights for optimizing current treatment paradigms in DEL. Emergency management bears the important responsibility of preventing and resolving security risks and responding to disasters and accidents in time. At the same time, it shoulders the important mission of protecting people's lives and property and maintaining social stability. However, there is little research on the forecast of the huge gap and demand for talent. To strengthen the emergency management ability and modernization, improve the ability of emergency management personnel training and solve the shortage of emergency management personnel at this stage, this paper studied the positioning of emergency management personnel in China and the demand for various emergency management personnel. By means of field interviews, questionnaire surveys, participatory research and expert meetings, this research analyzed the characteristics of emergency management talents in China, defined its classification and forecasted its demand. The results showed that emergency management talents in China could be divided into four categories: administrative management talents, practical talents, expert talents and support talents. According to the data calculation results of five representative provinces, Guangdong Province (area with relatively developed economy), Beijing (administrative centre and economically developed area), Sichuan Province (natural disaster‐prone area), Shanxi Province (developed area of energy industry such as coal) and Jiangsu Province (industrially developed areas), it is concluded that the total demand for emergency management talents in China at this stage is about 794,900, and the gap is about 411,200. At present, China's emergency management talents are in short supply. The research results of this paper can provide sufficient data support for the training of emergency management talents.
