Since the discovery of the first Gastrotricha at the end of the eighteenth century, the study of this taxon has proven to be notoriously difficult due to the fragility of the body and its diminutive size. Consequently, this microinvertebrates group is considered part of the less-known metazoan taxa and its biodiversity knowledge is still far from being understood. To bring light to the past, present, and future understanding of Gastrotricha biodiversity literature, we conducted the first study aimed to quantitatively and qualitatively evaluating the global research productivity on this clade by carrying out a bibliographic survey in Web of Science and Scopus databases using bibliometric tools. We found 523 studies published between 1904 and 2022 and detected i) a high prevalence of "new species" as a keyword in the literature, indicating the youth of our knowledge on biodiversity of this phylum; ii) the formation of clusters of interacting researchers around well-established veterans' researchers in Europe; but also, iii) the formation of new research centers training new researchers in recent decades around the world. However, we also found that there are gaps in the accessibility of past literature in the main search tools. We believe that it is time to explore new facets of Gastrotricha research and we hope that our study can provide a guide for future research development to shape more effective policies for biodiversity discovery and conservation initiatives. Different disciplines continue to place more and more importance on design. This growth results in a variety of terminology relating to design being used in different studies. This study aims to reveal the current state of design education in two phases: (1) a bibliometric analysis to show the patterns in design education studies published in the Web of Science database, (2) a content analysis to examine how the design education studies use design related terminology. In the bibliometric analysis five themes emerged: science, engineering, technology, literacy and design-based research. The largest theme in our analysis is engineering. Science and technology also became prominent themes in addition to engineering's predominance. Technology and engineering journals served as the main publishing platform for design research, with the qualitative approach and theoretical studies in design education coming in second and third, respectively, in terms of frequency of use. 192 design-related keywords were found in the content analysis of 2062 abstracts, and they were divided into four groups in the design glossary: 8 keywords for design framework, 47 keywords for design types, 29 keywords for teaching design, and 108 keywords for design concepts. This study employs bibliometric analysis through CiteSpace to comprehensively evaluate the status and trends of MANF (mesencephalic astrocyte-derived neurotrophic factor) research spanning 25 years (1997–2022). It aims to fill the gap in objective and comprehensive reviews of MANF research. MANF-related studies were extracted from the Web of Science database. MANF publications were quantitatively and qualitatively analyzed for various factors by CiteSpace, including publication volume, journals, countries/regions, institutions, and authors. Keywords and references were visually analyzed to unveil research evolution and hotspot. Analysis of 353 MANF-related articles revealed escalating annual publications, indicating growing recognition of MANF's importance. High-impact journals such as the International Journal of Molecular Sciences and Journal of Biological Chemistry underscored MANF's interdisciplinary significance. Collaborative networks highlighted China and the USA's pivotal roles, while influential figures and partnerships drove understanding of MANF's mechanisms. Co-word analysis of MANF-related keywords exposed key evolutionary hotspots, encompassing neurotrophic effects, cytoprotective roles, MANF-related diseases, and the CDNF/MANF family. This progression from basic understanding to clinical potential showcased MANF's versatility from cellular protection to therapy. Carbon neutrality is a research hotspot and achieves increasing interests in recent years. In this paper, utilizing the Web of Science database as the data resource, we conduct a series of analyses for the carbon neutrality-related literature from the past decade based on CiteSpace, including the visualization analysis for the research hotspots and trends, discovery of intellectual structure and influential directions, as well as the cooperation analysis for representative researchers, organizations, and countries. The findings demonstrate that (a) the relationship between carbon emissions and economic growth has achieved increasing academic interests in recent years. (b) There are mainly four knowledge groups at present in this area including renewable energy and carbon emissions; international energy cooperation and investment; energy regulations and policies of different countries; technological innovation and economic growth. With rapid development of mobile technology, the number of researches on its use in language education process has increased. This growing body of interest has led to a need for review studies that are expected to explain the literature and the trend in the field succinctly. Based on this ground, this study aimed to review the studies conducted on mobile-assisted vocabulary learning in two dimensions. Firstly, it tried to reveal a general map of the domain through bibliometric analysis. With this aim, Web of Science database was scanned and 687 publications were included in the analysis. Then, among these publications 19 articles were selected to identify the technological and pedagogical focus of research papers to determine the trend. The results of bibliometric analysis explained the most frequent keywords, the most productive countries, and the most influential authors and articles. Furthermore, it was discovered that achievement and perceptions were the most common topics in terms of language learning focus and it was gamification in the dimension of technological focus in empirical studies. Humanitarian supply chain (HSC) has attracted enormous interest from both practitioners and academics lately, mainly because of its essential role in curbing the increase in human-made and natural disasters. Knowing what has been done in the field so far as to design a robust research agenda to tackle future HSC challenges is an important research objective. In this study, a bibliometric analysis was conducted to assess the current level of research on the HSC. A search of documents dealing with HSC was realized in the Web of Science database, a world-leading publisher-independent global citation database. The search identified 1152 documents, and the data collected was analyzed by means of a bibliometric tool called Bibliometrix. Using past material and spiritual remains, cultural heritage examines communities' identity formation across time. Cultural heritage requires public and private institutions to care about its restoration, maintenance, conservation, and promotion. Through a bibliometric perspective, this study has analyzed, quantified, and mapped the scientific production of the fourth industrial revolution applied to heritage studies from 2016 to 2021 in the Scopus and Web of Science databases. Biblioshiny software from RStudio was employed to categorize and evaluate the contribution of authors, countries, institutions, and journals. In addition, VOSviewer was used to visualize their collaboration networks. As a main result, we found that augmented reality and remote sensing represent the research hotspot concerning heritage studies. Those techniques have become common in archaeology, as well as museums, leading to an increase in their activity. Perhaps, more recent tools, such as machine learning and deep learning, will provide future pathways in cultural heritage from data collected in social networks. This bibliometric analysis, therefore, provides an updated perspective of the implementations of technologies from industry 4.0 in heritage science as a possible guideline for future worldwide research. Ecological vulnerability has become one of the hot issues of ecology and environmental science under global change and sustainable development scenarios. However, no study quantitatively analyzes the global scientific performance and hot research areas in this field by adopting the bibliometric method. Based on 935 pieces of literature retrieved from the Web of Science database, we comprehensively analyzed the research on ecological vulnerability in terms of growth trend, research content, publication journal and country, and co-occurrence network of keywords. The results showed that research on ecological vulnerability had experienced rapid growth since 2000, while ecological vulnerability research at the World Heritage sites was still embryonic. The top two productive countries in ecological vulnerability research were America and China, and the top two productive journals were Ecological Indicators and Regional Environmental Change. Study on ecological vulnerability was mainly classified as empirical evaluation and regional synthesis, whereas theoretical research is rare. Based on the summary of the main progress and achievements in ecological vulnerability research, we proposed five scientific issues that remain to be resolved in the field of ecological vulnerability. Overall, this study could shed light on a comprehensive and systematic understanding of ecological vulnerability and provide directions for future research on ecological vulnerability in a rapidly changing world. Objective: With the population aging, there is an associated rise in the prevalence of adult degenerative scoliosis (ADS). However, limited data were found to elaborate the trend of ADS research. Our study aims to investigate the global trend of ADS research in this decade. Methods: ADS-related publications from 2010 to 2019 were extracted from the Web of Science and Medline database. Excel 2016, GraphPad Prism 6, and VOSviewer software were adopted to analyze the search results for number of publications, citation, and H-index. Results: A total of 1282 papers were included and were cited 16,770 times. The USA accounted for 40.41% of the articles, 60.35% of the citations, and the highest H-index of 51. China ranked second in total number of articles, third in citation frequency (1373), and fourth with an H-index of 18. The journal Spine (IF = 2.903, 2019) had the highest number of publications. Shaffery CI published the most articles in this field (40). Key words of ADS research were classified into three clusters: "Surgical technique," "Mechanism," and "Radiological parameter." The "Radiological parameter" cluster became the most popular, and it came with the latest hot spots of "slope," "cervical lordosis," "mismatch," and "PI-LL." Conclusion: Literature growth in ADS was rapidly expanding in this decade. The USA was the most productive country and also had a largest quantity of top authors and institutes, so that scholars can keep following and cooperated with.
