7. Criaturas de papel: a construção de duas personagens de Arthur Schnitzler.

This article analyzes the resources used by Arthur Schnitzler (1862-1931) to write the book Fräulein Else (1924). The dialogues, the letters and the inner monologue tell (or show) the story of the beautiful young woman who has the fate of the family in her hands: Else is under pressure to accept the request of the unscrupulous Mr. von Dorsday to get the money that will prevent the arrest of her father. Based on Beth Brait's (2006) character-building study and on the considerations on the flow of consciousness made by the French literary critic Michel Zéraffa (2010), for whom Schnitzler was one of the true precursors of Joyce and Faulkner, a comparison is made between Else and Lieutenant Wilhelm Kasda, the protagonist of the novel Night games (1926), written two years later by the same author. 29. Elaboração de trabalho de conclusão de curso na educação profissional técnica de nível médio
- Abstract
A educação profissional técnica de nível médio surgiu no Brasil em resposta a demandas da indústria, que exigia mão de obra para ocupar funções nascidas do processo de industrialização, e dos trabalhadores, que buscavam melhores colocações no mercado de trabalho. Assim, considera-se que a educação profissional técnica de nível médio apresenta estreita ligação com as demandas de mercado, ao mesmo tempo em que deve garantir uma formação adequada ao educando. Por isso, nesta dissertação de mestrado, pergunta-se qual seria o papel da elaboração de um TCC na educação profissional técnica de nível médio. Para responder a esse questionamento, estabeleceu-se como objetivo geral investigar a contribuição da elaboração de um TCC para a formação profissional técnica de nível médio, a partir de impressões de alunos egressos de cursos técnicos subsequentes ao ensino médio, na área da saúde, de uma escola pública estadual da cidade de Porto Alegre/RS.Os objetivos específicos são: identificar quais competências e habilidades são desenvolvidas na elaboração de um TCC em cursos técnicos subsequentes ao nível médio, a partir de impressões de egressos de uma escola de educação profissional; indicar se as competências e habilidades desenvolvidas na elaboração de um TCC têm potencial para incrementar a formação profissional de alunos de cursos técnicos de nível médio. Para fundamentar a perspectiva teórica adotada acerca de competências e habilidades, usa-se como base material bibliográfico da Organização das Nações Unidas para a Educação, Ciência e Cultura (UNESCO), a partir do conceito de Educação para a Cidadania Global (UNESCO, 2015a, 2015b, 2016), e a Base Nacional Comum Curricular (Ministério da Educação) adotada no Brasil em 2017. É uma pesquisa de caráter qualitativo, cujos dados produzidos foram analisados a partir dos princípios da Análise Textual Discursiva (ATD), tal como proposto por Moraes e Galiazzi (2011). Therefore, in this masters dissertation, it is questioned the role of writing a final paper in mid-level technical-professional education. In order to answer this question, it was established as the main goal to investigate the contribution of writing a final paper for the formation in mid-level technicalprofessional formation from the impressions of mid-level technical-professional education students egressed from technical courses subsequent to high school, in the field of Health, from a state public school from Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.The specific goals are: identify which competencies and skills are developed in writing a final paper in technical courses subsequent to high school, from the impressions of students egressed from a professional education school; indicate if the competencies and skills developed in writing a final paper have the potential to increase the professional formation of mid-level technical courses students. In order to substantiate the theoretical approach of the competencies and skills, it is used as base the bibliography of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), from the concept of Global Citizenship Education (UNESCO, 2015a, 2015b, 2016), and the “Base Nacional Comum Curricular” (Common Core Curriculum), Ministry of Education, adopted in Brazil in 2017. A interação e as discussões entre teoria e método na arqueologia desenvolveram uma relação contínua e incessantemente dinâmica ao longo da curta história da disciplina. No centro do debate estão as preocupações sobre quais conjuntos de conhecimentos podem ser obtidos com segurança a partir do registro material do (s) passado (s). Esse estímulo aos limites e possibilidades da epistemologia derivada da arqueologia é explorado nesta dissertação em uma escala regional. Essa dissertação procura revelar a dinâmica entre os precedentes históricos e políticos da história de pesquisa de uma região e como as especificidades do registro arqueológico da área se relacionam para formar combinações únicas de método e teoria (práxis) que determinam as prioridades de pesquisa. A dissertação apresenta uma seleção de estudos de caso contemporâneos de toda a Bacia do Rio de la Plata com a finalidade de ilustrar a ampla variedade de abordagens metodológicas colocadas em prática nesta região. At the core of the debate are concerns about what kinds of knowledge can be reliably obtained from the material record of the past(s). This prodding into the limits and possibilities of archaeologically-derived epistemology are explored in this project at a regional scale. This paper attempts to reveal the dynamics between the historical and political precedents of a region’s research history and how the specifics of the area’s archaeological record combine to manifest unique combinations of method and theory (praxis) that sculpt research priorities. It uses a selection of contemporary case studies from throughout the Rio de la Plata Basin in order to illustrate the wide variety of methodological approaches. It is meant as both a wide-ranging survey sample of the theory and method at play in current research in the area, but also an introduction to the perennial archaeological topics of interest unique to the basin region. By taking a regional approach to the theoretical questions about the variety of epistemic goals of archaeology, it is hoped the paper can offer concrete examples, in a verifiable historico-regional context, of how both ontologically objective (measurable) and ontologically subjective (human internal) realities of the past are both being approached simultaneously in contemporary archaeology.

Neste trabalho, apresenta-se uma análise do romance Mi negro pasado (2018a), da Laura Esquivel, em conexão com Como agua para chocolate (1989) e a El Diario de Tita (2016a), livros que compõem uma trilogia. Percebe-se que elementos presentes nos romances tornam-se relevantes para uma recuperação memorialística, a qual irá interferir em questões identitárias que surgem na narrativa. Como objetivo geral, pretende-se analisar Mi negro pasado a partir da relação do título do romance com as questões identitárias que estão submersas na ancestralidade da família da protagonista. Como desdobramento dessas reflexões, busca-se identificar que elementos foram importantes para a revelação identitária da família De la Garza, a fim de compreender qual é o papel da memória nesse processo, a partir da conexão entre os romances mencionados. O primeiro capítulo, subdvidido em três partes, traz considerações a respeito da literatura como objeto de estudo, assim como uma apresentação de aspectos referentes à produção literária de Laura Esquivel. Discorre-se, ainda, sobre a trilogia de Como agua para chocolate, em razão da conexão existente entre eles. No segundo capítulo, estruturado em duas partes, dedica-se a promover um diálogo entre o romance estudado e as reflexões teóricas levantadas para fundamentar a análise. A interação e as discussões entre teoria e método na arqueologia desenvolveram uma relação contínua e incessantemente dinâmica ao longo da curta história da disciplina. No centro do debate estão as preocupações sobre quais conjuntos de conhecimentos podem ser obtidos com segurança a partir do registro material do (s) passado (s). Esse estímulo aos limites e possibilidades da epistemologia derivada da arqueologia é explorado nesta dissertação em uma escala regional. Essa dissertação procura revelar a dinâmica entre os precedentes históricos e políticos da história de pesquisa de uma região e como as especificidades do registro arqueológico da área se relacionam para formar combinações únicas de método e teoria (práxis) que determinam as prioridades de pesquisa. A dissertação apresenta uma seleção de estudos de caso contemporâneos de toda a Bacia do Rio de la Plata com a finalidade de ilustrar a ampla variedade de abordagens metodológicas colocadas em prática nesta região. - Abstract
A educação profissional técnica de nível médio surgiu no Brasil em resposta a demandas da indústria, que exigia mão de obra para ocupar funções nascidas do processo de industrialização, e dos trabalhadores, que buscavam melhores colocações no mercado de trabalho. Assim, considera-se que a educação profissional técnica de nível médio apresenta estreita ligação com as demandas de mercado, ao mesmo tempo em que deve garantir uma formação adequada ao educando. Por isso, nesta dissertação de mestrado, pergunta-se qual seria o papel da elaboração de um TCC na educação profissional técnica de nível médio. Para responder a esse questionamento, estabeleceu-se como objetivo geral investigar a contribuição da elaboração de um TCC para a formação profissional técnica de nível médio, a partir de impressões de alunos egressos de cursos técnicos subsequentes ao ensino médio, na área da saúde, de uma escola pública estadual da cidade de Porto Alegre/RS.Os objetivos específicos são: identificar quais competências e habilidades são desenvolvidas na elaboração de um TCC em cursos técnicos subsequentes ao nível médio, a partir de impressões de egressos de uma escola de educação profissional; indicar se as competências e habilidades desenvolvidas na elaboração de um TCC têm potencial para incrementar a formação profissional de alunos de cursos técnicos de nível médio. Para fundamentar a perspectiva teórica adotada acerca de competências e habilidades, usa-se como base material bibliográfico da Organização das Nações Unidas para a Educação, Ciência e Cultura (UNESCO), a partir do conceito de Educação para a Cidadania Global (UNESCO, 2015a, 2015b, 2016), e a Base Nacional Comum Curricular (Ministério da Educação) adotada no Brasil em 2017. É uma pesquisa de caráter qualitativo, cujos dados produzidos foram analisados a partir dos princípios da Análise Textual Discursiva (ATD), tal como proposto por Moraes e Galiazzi (2011). Assim, considera-se que a educação profissional técnica de nível médio apresenta estreita ligação com as demandas de mercado, ao mesmo tempo em que deve garantir uma formação adequada ao educando. Por isso, nesta dissertação de mestrado, pergunta-se qual seria o papel da elaboração de um TCC na educação profissional técnica de nível médio. Para responder a esse questionamento, estabeleceu-se como objetivo geral investigar a contribuição da elaboração de um TCC para a formação profissional técnica de nível médio, a partir de impressões de alunos egressos de cursos técnicos subsequentes ao ensino médio, na área da saúde, de uma escola pública estadual da cidade de Porto Alegre/RS.Os objetivos específicos são: identificar quais competências e habilidades são desenvolvidas na elaboração de um TCC em cursos técnicos subsequentes ao nível médio, a partir de impressões de egressos de uma escola de educação profissional; indicar se as competências e habilidades desenvolvidas na elaboração de um TCC têm potencial para incrementar a formação profissional de alunos de cursos técnicos de nível médio. Para fundamentar a perspectiva teórica adotada acerca de competências e habilidades, usa-se como base material bibliográfico da Organização das Nações Unidas para a Educação, Ciência e Cultura (UNESCO), a partir do conceito de Educação para a Cidadania Global (UNESCO, 2015a, 2015b, 2016), e a Base Nacional Comum Curricular (Ministério da Educação) adotada no Brasil em 2017. É uma pesquisa de caráter qualitativo, cujos dados produzidos foram analisados a partir dos princípios da Análise Textual Discursiva (ATD), tal como proposto por Moraes e Galiazzi (2011). In order to answer this question, it was established as the main goal to investigate the contribution of writing a final paper for the formation in mid-level technicalprofessional formation from the impressions of mid-level technical-professional education students egressed from technical courses subsequent to high school, in the field of Health, from a state public school from Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.The specific goals are: identify which competencies and skills are developed in writing a final paper in technical courses subsequent to high school, from the impressions of students egressed from a professional education school; indicate if the competencies and skills developed in writing a final paper have the potential to increase the professional formation of mid-level technical courses students. In order to substantiate the theoretical approach of the competencies and skills, it is used as base the bibliography of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), from the concept of Global Citizenship Education (UNESCO, 2015a, 2015b, 2016), and the “Base Nacional Comum Curricular” (Common Core Curriculum), Ministry of Education, adopted in Brazil in 2017. - Abstract
Neste trabalho, apresenta-se uma análise do romance Mi negro pasado (2018a), da Laura Esquivel, em conexão com Como agua para chocolate (1989) e a El Diario de Tita (2016a), livros que compõem uma trilogia. Percebe-se que elementos presentes nos romances tornam-se relevantes para uma recuperação memorialística, a qual irá interferir em questões identitárias que surgem na narrativa. Como objetivo geral, pretende-se analisar Mi negro pasado a partir da relação do título do romance com as questões identitárias que estão submersas na ancestralidade da família da protagonista. Como desdobramento dessas reflexões, busca-se identificar que elementos foram importantes para a revelação identitária da família De la Garza, a fim de compreender qual é o papel da memória nesse processo, a partir da conexão entre os romances mencionados. O primeiro capítulo, subdvidido em três partes, traz considerações a respeito da literatura como objeto de estudo, assim como uma apresentação de aspectos referentes à produção literária de Laura Esquivel. Discorre-se, ainda, sobre a trilogia de Como agua para chocolate, em razão da conexão existente entre eles. No segundo capítulo, estruturado em duas partes, dedica-se a promover um diálogo entre o romance estudado e as reflexões teóricas levantadas para fundamentar a análise. Para tanto, apoia-se, inicialmente, nos estudos de Guillermo Batalla (2019), sobre a identidade mexicana, e Henry Louis Gates Jr. (2014), sobre o México como um país afro-latino-americano. The elements presented in the novels become relevant for a memorialistic recovery, which will interfere in identity issues that arise in the narrative. As a general aim, the intention is to analyze Mi negro pasado from the relation of the novel's title with the identity issues that are submerged in the ancestry of the protagonist's family. As an unfolding of these reflections, the aim is to identify which elements were important for the identity revelation of the De la Garza family, in order to understand the role of memory in this process, based on the connection between the mentioned novels. The first chapter, subdivided into three parts, presents considerations about literature as an object of study, as well as a presentation of aspects related to Laura Esquivel's literary production. It also discusses the trilogy of Como agua para chocolate, due to the connection between them. The second chapter, structured in two parts, is dedicated to promoting a dialogue between the studied novel and the theoretical reflections raised to support the analysis. For this purpose, this study initially relied on the studies of Guillermo Batalla (2019), on Mexican identity, and Henry Louis Gates Jr. (2014), on Mexico as an Afro-Latin American country.Finally, in carrying out the proposed analysis, the memorialistic and identity aspects are crossed, through the reading of authors such as Paul Ricoeur (2007), Aleida Assmann (2011) and Halbwachs (2013), to substantiate the reflections arisen from the questions presented on the paper that involve the field of memory. A interação e as discussões entre teoria e método na arqueologia desenvolveram uma relação contínua e incessantemente dinâmica ao longo da curta história da disciplina. No centro do debate estão as preocupações sobre quais conjuntos de conhecimentos podem ser obtidos com segurança a partir do registro material do (s) passado (s). Esse estímulo aos limites e possibilidades da epistemologia derivada da arqueologia é explorado nesta dissertação em uma escala regional. Essa dissertação procura revelar a dinâmica entre os precedentes históricos e políticos da história de pesquisa de uma região e como as especificidades do registro arqueológico da área se relacionam para formar combinações únicas de método e teoria (práxis) que determinam as prioridades de pesquisa. A dissertação apresenta uma seleção de estudos de caso contemporâneos de toda a Bacia do Rio de la Plata com a finalidade de ilustrar a ampla variedade de abordagens metodológicas colocadas em prática nesta região. O trabalho representa uma amostra abrangente a respeito das teorias e dos métodos usados na atual na área de pesquisa, mas também uma introdução aos tópicos arqueológicos de interesse exclusivo para a região da bacia. Ao fazer uma abordagem regional das questões teóricas sobre a variedade de objetivos epistêmicos da arqueologia, espera-se que esse trabalho possa oferecer exemplos concretos, em um contexto histórico-regional verificável, de como tanto ontologicamente objetivo (mensurável) quanto ontologicamente subjetivo (humano interno) realidades do passado estão sendo abordadas simultaneamente na arqueologia contemporânea., The interplay and discussions between theory and method in archaeology have developed an on-going and incessantly dynamic relationship throughout the discipline’s short history. At the core of the debate are concerns about what kinds of knowledge can be reliably obtained from the material record of the past(s). This prodding into the limits and possibilities of archaeologically-derived epistemology are explored in this project at a regional scale. This paper attempts to reveal the dynamics between the historical and political precedents of a region’s research history and how the specifics of the area’s archaeological record combine to manifest unique combinations of method and theory (praxis) that sculpt research priorities. It uses a selection of contemporary case studies from throughout the Rio de la Plata Basin in order to illustrate the wide variety of methodological approaches. It is meant as both a wide-ranging survey sample of the theory and method at play in current research in the area, but also an introduction to the perennial archaeological topics of interest unique to the basin region. By taking a regional approach to the theoretical questions about the variety of epistemic goals of archaeology, it is hoped the paper can offer concrete examples, in a verifiable historico-regional context, of how both ontologically objective (measurable) and ontologically subjective (human internal) realities of the past are both being approached simultaneously in contemporary archaeology.

This paper aims to investigate the feasibility of taking the issue of a life project as an evangelizing action of a pastoral nature, particularly exploring the challenge of an initiative in these lines in the university context. The paper begins with a conceptual analysis, explaining the notions of evangelizing action and pastoral activity, as well as the notion of a life project. Then, the university context is examined as a potential locus for the conception of the life project from a pastoral perspective. The next step is the examination of a concrete experience of the treatment under analysis implemented and developed at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul, carried out from 2018, namely, the Quest project, paying special attention to the reflection on the meaning of life. Then, we seek to get an evaluation of the experience based on quantitatively and qualitatively measured results. Since the publication of Axel Honneth's last lengthy studies, critical theorists have been discussing if his "normative reconstruction" is able to connect with the traditional aims of Critical Theory, namely, criticizing society. This paper aims to take part in the discussion about the implications of social reconstruction, highlighting its strengths. In a second step, it discusses if reconstruction can work out as a criticism of neoliberalism, and to do that, the paper critically compares reconstruction with the alternative approach of analysing neoliberalism as a "normative order", as proposed by Wendy Brown, mainly. In conclusion, the paper claims that reconstruction connects with elements of a political economy of the present, and therefore is a more solid method for critique than the analysis of neoliberalism's political discourse. This paper aims to analyse the relationship between household income sources and household economic welfare over a medium-term period spanning different political-economic cycles in Argentina. It bases on the convergence between social class studies and welfare regimes analysis. We used a quantitative methodological strategy based on microdata from the Permanent Household Survey (EPH for its acronym in Spanish) of the National Institute of Statistics and Census (Indec for its acronym in Spanish), Argentina. The class scheme known as EGP/Casmin was constructed. The income sources for the different years were harmonised into labour and non-labour sources, differentiating the latter between market income and welfare income. The relationship between social class and income sources was analysed descriptively. A decomposition analysis by income sources and social class of the Gini economic inequality index was applied at the household level. Among the main conclusions of the paper, the strong dependence of households of all social classes on labour income for their social reproduction is highlighted, even in periods of strong dynamism in the field of social policies, such as the governments framed within the "progressive turn" or "pink tide".
