In recent years, the wide application of deep neural network models has brought serious risks of intellectual property rights infringement. Embedding a watermark in a network model is an effective solution to protect intellectual property rights. Although researchers have proposed schemes to add watermarks to models, they cannot prevent attackers from adding and overwriting original information, and embedding rates cannot be quantified. Therefore, aiming at these problems, this paper designs a high embedding rate and tamper-proof watermarking scheme. We employ wet paper coding (WPC), in which important parameters are regarded as wet blocks and the remaining unimportant parameters are regarded as dry blocks in the model. To obtain the important parameters more easily, we propose an optimized probabilistic selection strategy (OPSS). OPSS defines the unimportant-level function and sets the importance threshold to select the important parameter positions and to ensure that the original function is not affected after the model parameters are changed. We regard important parameters as an unmodifiable part, and only modify the part that includes the unimportant parameters. We selected the MNIST, CIFAR-10, and ImageNet datasets to test the performance of the model after adding a watermark and to analyze the fidelity, robustness, embedding rate, and comparison schemes of the model. Our experiment shows that the proposed scheme has high fidelity and strong robustness along with a high embedding rate and the ability to prevent malicious tampering.

Many ranking algorithms and metrics have been proposed to identify high-impact papers. Both the direct citation counts and the network-based PageRank-like algorithms are commonly used. Ideally, the more complete the data on the citation network, the more informative the ranking. However, obtaining more data on citation relations is often costly and challenging. In some cases, obtaining the citation counts can be relatively simple. In this paper, we look into using the additional citation counts but without additional citation relations to form more informative metrics for identifying high-impact papers. As an example, we propose enhancing the original PageRank algorithm by combining the local citation network with the additional citation counts from a more complete data source. We apply this enhanced method to American Physical Society (APS) papers to verify its effectiveness. The results indicate that the proposed ranking algorithm is robust against missing data and can improve the identification of high-quality papers. This shows that it is possible to enhance the effectiveness of a network-based metric calculated on a relatively small citation network by including only the additional data of the citation counts, without the additional citation relations. The electrocardiogram (ECG) signal describes the heart's electrical activity, allowing it to detect several health conditions, including cardiac system abnormalities and dysfunctions. Nowadays, most patient medical records are still paper-based, especially those made in past decades. The importance of collecting digitized ECGs is twofold: firstly, all medical applications can be easily implemented with an engineering approach if the ECGs are treated as signals; secondly, paper ECGs can deteriorate over time, therefore a correct evaluation of the patient's clinical evolution is not always guaranteed. The goal of this paper is the realization of an automatic conversion algorithm from paper-based ECGs (images) to digital ECG signals. The algorithm involves a digitization process tested on an image set of 16 subjects, also with pathologies. The quantitative analysis of the digitization method is carried out by evaluating the repeatability and reproducibility of the algorithm. The digitization accuracy is evaluated both on the entire signal and on six ECG time parameters (R-R peak distance, QRS complex duration, QT interval, PQ interval, P-wave duration, and heart rate). Results demonstrate the algorithm efficiency has an average Pearson correlation coefficient of 0.94 and measurement errors of the ECG time parameters are always less than 1 mm. With the development of the customization concept, small-batch and multi-variety production will become one of the major production modes, especially for fast-moving consumer goods. However, this production mode has two issues: high production cost and the long manufacturing period. To address these issues, this study proposes a multi-objective optimization model for the flexible flow-shop to optimize the production scheduling, which would maximize the production efficiency by minimizing the production cost and makespan. The model is designed based on hybrid algorithms, which combine a fast non-dominated genetic algorithm (NSGA-II) and a variable neighborhood search algorithm (VNS). In this model, NSGA-II is the major algorithm to calculate the optimal solutions. VNS is to improve the quality of the solution obtained by NSGA-II. The model is verified by an example of a real-world typical FFS, a tissue papermaking mill. The results show that the scheduling model can reduce production costs by 4.2% and makespan by 6.8% compared with manual scheduling. The hybrid VNS-NSGA-II model also shows better performance than NSGA-II, both in production cost and makespan. Compared to the conventional boost power factor correction (PFC) converter, a totem-pole bridgeless PFC has high efficiency because it does not have an input diode rectifier stage, but a current spike may occur when the polarity of the grid voltage changes. This paper proposes a digital control algorithm for bridgeless totem-pole PFC with a simple control structure based on the phase angle of grid voltage. The proposed algorithm has a PI-based double-loop control structure and performs DC-link voltage and input inductor current control. Rectifying switches operate based on the proposed rectification algorithm using phase angle information calculated through a single-phase phase-locked loop (PLL) to prevent current spikes. The feed-forward duty ratio value is calculated according to the polarity of the grid voltage and added to the double-loop controller to perform appropriate power factor control. The intrinsic features of documents, such as paper color, texture, aging, translucency, the kind of printing, typing or handwriting, etc., are important with regard to how to process and enhance their image. Image binarization is the process of producing a monochromatic image having its color version as input. It is a key step in the document processing pipeline. The recent Quality-Time Binarization Competitions for documents have shown that no binarization algorithm is good for any kind of document image. This paper uses a sample of the texture of the scanned historical documents as the main document feature to select which of the 63 widely used algorithms, using five different versions of the input images, totaling 315 document image-binarization schemes, provides a reasonable quality-time trade-off. To facilitate better interpretation of dielectric response measurements--thereby directing numerical evidence for condition assessments of oil-paper-insulated equipment in high-voltage alternating current (HVAC) transmission systems--a novel approach is presented to estimate the parameters in the extended Debye model (EDM) using wideband frequency domain spectroscopy (FDS). A syncretic algorithm that integrates a genetic algorithm (GA) and the Levenberg-Marquardt (L-M) algorithm is introduced in the present study to parameterize EDM using the FDS measurements of a real-life 126 kV oil-impregnated paper (OIP) bushing under different controlled temperatures. As for the uncertainty of the EDM structure due to variable branch quantity, Akaike's information criterion (AIC) is employed to determine the model orders. For verification, comparative analysis of FDS reconstruction and results of FDS transformation to polarization--depolarization current (PDC)/return voltage measurement (RVM) are presented. The comparison demonstrates good agreement between the measured and reconstructed spectroscopies of complex capacitance and tan δover the full tested frequency band (10-4 Hz-10³ Hz) with goodness of fit over 0.99. Deviations between the tested and modelled PDC/RVM from FDS are then discussed. Compared with the previous studies to parameterize the model using time domain dielectric responses, the proposed method solves the problematic matching between EDM and FDS especially in a wide frequency band, and therefore assures a basis for quantitative insulation condition assessment of OIP-insulated apparatus in energy systems. High-precision measurement of temperature value distributions in production scenarios is of great significance for industrial production, but traditional temperature field reconstruction algorithms rely on the design of manual feature extraction methods with high computational complexity and poor generalization ability. In this paper, we propose a high-precision temperature field reconstruction algorithm based on deep learning, using an efficient adaptive feature extraction method for temperature field reconstruction. We design an improved temperature field reconstruction algorithm based on the ResNet18 neural network; introduce the CBAM attention mechanism in the model; and design a feature pyramid, using M-FPN, a multi-scale feature aggregation network fusing PAN and FPN, to make the extracted feature information propagate multi-dimensionally among different layers to improve the feature characterization ability. Finally, the mean square error is used to guide the model to optimize the training so that the model pays more attention to the data and reduces the large error to ensure that the gap between the predicted value and the real value is small. The experimental results show that the reconstruction accuracy of the improved algorithm presented in this paper is significantly better than that of the original algorithm in the case of typical peaked temperature field distributions. Smart communication has significantly advanced with the integration of the Internet of Things (IoT). Many devices and online services are utilized in the network system to cope with data gathering and forwarding. Recently, many traffic-aware solutions have explored autonomous systems to attain the intelligent routing and flowing of internet traffic with the support of artificial intelligence. However, the inefficient usage of nodes' batteries and long-range communication degrades the connectivity time for the deployed sensors with the end devices. Moreover, trustworthy route identification is another significant research challenge for formulating a smart system. Therefore, this paper presents a smart Random walk Distributed Secured Edge algorithm (RDSE), using a multi-regression model for IoT networks, which aims to enhance the stability of the chosen IoT network with the support of an optimal system. In addition, by using secured computing, the proposed architecture increases the trustworthiness of smart devices with the least node complexity. The proposed algorithm differs from other works in terms of the following factors. Firstly, it uses the random walk to form the initial routes with certain probabilities, and later, by exploring a multi-variant function, it attains long-lasting communication with a high degree of network stability. This helps to improve the optimization criteria for the nodes' communication, and efficiently utilizes energy with the combination of mobile edges. Secondly, the trusted factors successfully identify the normal nodes even when the system is compromised. Therefore, the proposed algorithm reduces data risks and offers a more reliable and private system. Federated learning (FL) is a scheme in which several consumers work collectively to unravel machine learning (ML) problems, with a dominant collector synchronizing the procedure. This decision correspondingly enables the training data to be distributed, guaranteeing that the individual device's data are secluded. The paper systematically reviewed the available literature using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-analysis (PRISMA) guiding principle. The study presents a systematic review of appliable ML approaches for FL, reviews the categorization of FL, discusses the FL application areas, presents the relationship between FL and Blockchain Technology (BT), and discusses some existing literature that has used FL and ML approaches. The study also examined applicable machine learning models for federated learning. The inclusion measures were (i) published between 2017 and 2021, (ii) written in English, (iii) published in a peer-reviewed scientific journal, and (iv) Preprint published papers. Unpublished studies, thesis and dissertation studies, (ii) conference papers, (iii) not in English, and (iv) did not use artificial intelligence models and blockchain technology were all removed from the review. In total, 84 eligible papers were finally examined in this study. Finally, in recent years, the amount of research on ML using FL has increased. Accuracy equivalent to standard feature-based techniques has been attained, and ensembles of many algorithms may yield even better results. We discovered that the best results were obtained from the hybrid design of an ML ensemble employing expert features. However, some additional difficulties and issues need to be overcome, such as efficiency, complexity, and smaller datasets. An early detection tool for latent COVID-19 infections in oncology staff and patients is essential to prevent outbreaks in a cancer center. (1) Background: In this study, we developed and implemented two early detection tools for the radiotherapy area to identify COVID-19 cases opportunely. (2) Methods: Staff and patients answered a questionnaire (electronic and paper surveys, respectively) with clinical and epidemiological information. The data were collected through two online survey tools: Real-Time Tracking (R-Track) and Summary of Factors (S-Facts). Cut-off values were established according to the algorithm models. SARS-CoV-2 qRT-PCR tests confirmed the positive algorithms individuals. (3) Results: Oncology staff members (n = 142) were tested, and 14% (n = 20) were positives for the R-Track algorithm; 75% (n = 15) were qRT-PCR positive. The S-Facts Algorithm identified 7.75% (n = 11) positive oncology staff members, and 81.82% (n = 9) were qRT-PCR positive. Oncology patients (n = 369) were evaluated, and 1.36% (n = 5) were positive for the Algorithm used. The five patients (100%) were confirmed by qRT-PCR. (4) Conclusions: The proposed early detection tools have proved to be a low-cost and efficient tool in a country where qRT-PCR tests and vaccines are insufficient for the population. Millimeter-wave radar-based identification technology has a wide range of applications in persistent identity verification, covering areas such as security production, healthcare, and personalized smart consumption systems. It has received extensive attention from the academic community due to its advantages of being non-invasive, environmentally insensitive and privacy-preserving. Existing identification algorithms mainly rely on a single signal, such as breathing or heartbeat. The reliability and accuracy of these algorithms are limited due to the high similarity of breathing patterns and the low signal-to-noise ratio of heartbeat signals. To address the above issues, this paper proposes an algorithm for multimodal fusion for identity recognition. This algorithm extracts and fuses features derived from phase signals, respiratory signals, and heartbeat signals for identity recognition purposes. The spatial features of signals with different modes are first extracted by the residual network (ResNet), after which these features are fused with a spatial-channel attention fusion module. On this basis, the temporal features are further extracted with a time series-based self-attention mechanism. Finally, the feature vectors of the user's vital sign modality are obtained to perform identity recognition. This method makes full use of the correlation and complementarity between different modal signals to improve the accuracy and reliability of identification. Simulation experiments show that the algorithm identity recognition proposed in this paper achieves an accuracy of 94.26% on a 20-subject self-test dataset, which is much higher than that of the traditional algorithm, which is about 85%. This paper primarily investigates enhanced object detection techniques for indoor service mobile robots. Robot operating systems (ROS) supply rich sensor data, which boost the models' ability to generalize. However, the model's performance might be hindered by constraints in the processing power, memory capacity, and communication capabilities of robotic devices. To address these issues, this paper proposes an improved you only look once version 5 (YOLOv5)-Lite object detection algorithm based on efficient multi-scale attention and bounding box regression combined with ROS. The algorithm incorporates efficient multi-scale attention (EMA) into the traditional YOLOv5-Lite model and replaces the C3 module with a lightweight C3Ghost module to reduce computation and model size during the convolution process. To enhance bounding box localization accuracy, modified precision-defined intersection over union (MPDIoU) is employed to optimize the model, resulting in the ROS–YOLOv5–FleetEMA model. The results indicated that relative to the conventional YOLOv5-Lite model, the ROS–YOLOv5–FleetEMA model enhanced the mean average precision (mAP) by 2.7% post-training, reduced giga floating-point operations per second (GFLOPS) by 13.2%, and decreased the params by 15.1%. In light of these experimental findings, the model was incorporated into ROS, leading to the development of a ROS-based object detection platform that offers rapid and precise object detection capabilities. Context: Software product lines (SPLs) have reached a considerable level of adoption in the software industry. The most commonly used models for managing the variability of SPLs are feature models (FMs). The analysis of FMs is an error-prone, tedious task, and it is not feasible to accomplish this task manually with large-scale FMs. In recent years, much effort has been devoted to developing reasoning algorithms for FMs. Aim: To synthesize the evidence on the use of reasoning algorithms for feature modeling. Method: We conducted a systematic mapping study, including six research questions. This study included 66 papers published from 2010 to 2020. Results: We found that most algorithms were used in the domain stage (70%). The most commonly used technologies were transformations (18%). As for the origins of the proposals, they were mainly rooted in academia (76%). The FODA model continued to be the most frequently used representation for feature modeling (70%). A large majority of the papers presented some empirical validation process (90%). Conclusion: We were able to respond to the RQs. This research studied the strategies that players use in sequential adversarial games. We took the Rock-Paper-Scissors (RPS) game as an example and ran players in two experiments. The first experiment involved two humans, who played the RPS together for 100 times. Importantly, our payoff design in the RPS allowed us to differentiate between participants who used a random strategy from those who used a Nash strategy. We found that participants did not play in agreement with the Nash strategy, but rather, their behavior was closer to random. Moreover, the analyses of the participants' sequential actions indicated heterogeneous cycle-based behaviors: some participants' actions were independent of their past outcomes, some followed a well-known win-stay/lose-change strategy, and others exhibited the win-change/lose-stay behavior. To understand the sequential patterns of outcome-dependent actions, we designed probabilistic computer algorithms involving specific change actions (i.e., to downgrade or upgrade according to the immediate past outcome): the Win-Downgrade/Lose-Stay (WDLS) or Win-Stay/Lose-Upgrade (WSLU) strategies. Experiment 2 used these strategies against a human player. Our findings show that participants followed a win-stay strategy against the WDLS algorithm and a lose-change strategy against the WSLU algorithm, while they had difficulty in using an upgrade/downgrade direction, suggesting humans' limited ability to detect and counter the actions of the algorithm. Taken together, our two experiments showed a large diversity of sequential strategies, where the win-stay/lose-change strategy did not describe the majority of human players' dynamic behaviors in this adversarial situation. The increasing demand for smart vehicles with many sensing capabilities will escalate data traffic in vehicular networks. Meanwhile, available network resources are limited. The emergence of AI implementation in vehicular network resource allocation opens the opportunity to improve resource utilization to provide more reliable services. Accordingly, many resource allocation schemes with various machine learning algorithms have been proposed to dynamically manage and allocate network resources. This survey paper presents how machine learning is leveraged in the vehicular network resource allocation strategy. We focus our study on determining its role in the mechanism. First, we provide an analysis of how authors designed their scenarios to orchestrate the resource allocation strategy. Secondly, we classify the mechanisms based on the parameters they chose when designing the algorithms. Finally, we analyze the challenges in designing a resource allocation strategy in vehicular networks using machine learning. Therefore, a thorough understanding of how machine learning algorithms are utilized to offer a dynamic resource allocation in vehicular networks is provided in this study.

As an indispensable part of the vehicle environment perception task, road traffic marking detection plays a vital role in correctly understanding the current traffic situation. However, the existing traffic marking detection algorithms still have some limitations. Taking lane detection as an example, the current detection methods mainly focus on the location information detection of lane lines, and they only judge the overall attribute of each detected lane line instance, thus lacking more fine-grained dynamic detection of lane line attributes. In order to meet the needs of intelligent vehicles for the dynamic attribute detection of lane lines and more perfect road environment information in urban road environment, this paper constructs a fine-grained attribute detection method for lane lines, which uses pixel-level attribute sequence points to describe the complete attribute distribution of lane lines and then matches the detection results of the lane lines. Realizing the attribute judgment of different segment positions of lane instances is called the fine-grained attribute detection of lane lines (Lane-FGA). In addition, in view of the lack of annotation information in the current open-source lane data set, this paper constructs a lane data set with both lane instance information and fine-grained attribute information by combining manual annotation and intelligent annotation. At the same time, a cyclic iterative attribute inference algorithm is designed to solve the difficult problem of lane attribute labeling in areas without visual cues such as occlusion and damage. The efficient and accurate identification of traffic signs is crucial to the safety and reliability of active driving assistance and driverless vehicles. However, the accurate detection of traffic signs under extreme cases remains challenging. Aiming at the problems of missing detection and false detection in traffic sign recognition in fog traffic scenes, this paper proposes a recognition algorithm for traffic signs based on pix2pixHD+YOLOv5-T. Firstly, the defogging model is generated by training the pix2pixHD network to meet the advanced visual task. Secondly, in order to better match the defogging algorithm with the target detection algorithm, the algorithm YOLOv5-Transformer is proposed by introducing a transformer module into the backbone of YOLOv5. Finally, the defogging algorithm pix2pixHD is combined with the improved YOLOv5 detection algorithm to complete the recognition of traffic signs in foggy environments. Comparative experiments proved that the traffic sign recognition algorithm proposed in this paper can effectively reduce the impact of a foggy environment on traffic sign recognition. Compared with the YOLOv5-T and YOLOv5 algorithms in moderate fog environments, the overall improvement of this algorithm is achieved. Efficient maritime search and rescue (SAR) is crucial for responding to maritime emergencies. In traditional SAR, fixed search path planning is inefficient and cannot prioritize high-probability regions, which has significant limitations. To solve the above problems, this paper proposes unmanned surface vehicles (USVs) path planning for maritime SAR based on POS-DQN so that USVs can perform SAR tasks reasonably and efficiently. Firstly, the search region is allocated as a whole using an improved task allocation algorithm so that the task region of each USV has priority and no duplication. Secondly, this paper considers the probability of success (POS) of the search environment and proposes a POS-DQN algorithm based on deep reinforcement learning. This algorithm can adapt to the complex and changing environment of SAR. It designs a probability weight reward function and trains USV agents to obtain the optimal search path. Finally, based on the simulation results, by considering the complete coverage of obstacle avoidance and collision avoidance, the search path using this algorithm can prioritize high-probability regions and improve the efficiency of SAR. This paper focuses on the problem of information source identification in online social networks (OSNs). By analyzing the research situation of source identification problems and challenges (such as the randomness of the information dissemination process and complexity of the underlying network topology), this paper studies the problem of multiple source diffusion and proposes a source identification algorithm based on multi-attribute topological clustering (MaTC). The basic idea of the algorithm is to decompose the multi-source problems into a series of single-source problems by using clustering partitioning to improve accuracy and efficiency. Firstly, it estimates the number of source nodes, which is also the number of network partitions, then characterizes the combination of multiple attribute structures as an attribute index of topological clustering, performs an analysis of the distribution of real source nodes in each partition to evaluate the accuracy of the clustering partition, and finally uses Jordan centrality within each partition for single-source identification. Objective: This study compared the aerosol and splatter diameter and count numbers produced by a dental mouth prop with a suction holder device and a saliva ejector during ultrasonic scaling in a clinical setting. Methodology: Fluorescein dye was placed in the dental equipment irrigation reservoirs with a mannequin, and an ultrasonic scaler was employed. The procedures were performed three times per device. The upper and bottom board papers were placed on the laboratory platform. All processes used an ultrasonic scaler to generate aerosol and splatter. A dental mouth prop with a suction holder and a saliva ejector were also tested. Photographic analysis was used to examine the fluorescein samples, followed by image processing in Python and assessment of the diameter and count number. For device comparison, statistics were used with an independent t-test. Result: When using the dental mouth prop with a suction holder, the scaler produced aerosol particles that were maintained on the upper board paper (mean ± SD: 1080 ± 662 µm) compared to on the bottom board paper (1230 ± 1020 µm). When the saliva ejector was used, it was found that the diameter of the aerosol on the upper board paper was 900 ± 580 µm, and the diameter on the bottom board paper was 1000 ± 756 µm. Conclusion: There was a significant difference in the aerosol and splatter particle diameter and count number between the dental mouth prop with a suction holder and saliva ejector (p < 0.05). At present, there is a growing emphasis on safeguarding image data, yet conventional encryption methods are full of numerous limitations. In order to tackle the limitations of conventional color image encryption methodologies, such as inefficiency and insufficient security, this paper designs an expedited encryption method for color images that uses DNA coding in conjunction with multiple chaotic systems. The encryption algorithm proposed in this paper is based on three-dimensional permutation, global scrambling, one-dimensional diffusion and DNA coding. First of all, the encryption algorithm uses three-dimensional permutation algorithms to scramble the image, which disrupts the high correlation among the image pixels. Second, the RSA algorithm and the SHA-256 hashing algorithm are utilized to derive the starting value necessary for the chaotic system to produce the key. Third, the image is encrypted by using global scrambling and one-dimensional diffusion. Finally, DNA coding rules are used to perform DNA computing. When multi-dynamic target UAVs escape, the uncertainty of the formation method and the external environment causes difficulties in rounding them up, so suitable solutions are needed to improve the roundup success rate. However, traditional methods can generally only enable the encirclement of a single target, and when the target is scattered and escaping, this will lead to encirclement failure due to the inability to sufficiently allocate UAVs for encirclement. Therefore, in this paper, a real-time roundup and dynamic allocation algorithm for multiple dynamic targets is proposed. A real-time dynamic obstacle avoidance model is established for the roundup problem, drawing on the artificial potential field function. For the escape problem of the rounding process, an optimal rounding allocation strategy is established by drawing on the linear matching method. The algorithm in this paper simulates the UAV in different obstacle environments to round up dynamic targets with different escape methods. The results show that the algorithm is able to achieve the rounding up of multiple dynamic targets in a UAV and obstacle scenario with random initial positions, and the task UAV, which is able to avoid obstacles, can be used in other algorithms for real-time rounding up and dynamic allocation. The results show that the algorithm is able to achieve the rounding up of multi-dynamic targets in scenarios with a random number of UAVs and obstacles with random locations. It results in a 50% increase in the rounding efficiency and a 10-fold improvement in the formation success rate. This paper presents a comprehensive assessment procedure for evaluating Ensemble-based Machine Learning algorithms in the context of exoplanet classification. Each of the algorithm hyperparameter values were tuned. Deployments were carried out using the cross-validation method. Performance metrics, including accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, precision, and F1 score, were evaluated using confusion matrices generated from each implementation. Machine Learning (ML) algorithms were trained and used to identify exoplanet data. Most of the current research deals with traditional ML algorithms for this purpose. The Ensemble algorithm is another type of ML technique that combines the prediction performance of two or more algorithms to obtain an improved final prediction. Few studies have applied Ensemble algorithms to predict exoplanets. To the best of our knowledge, no paper that has exclusively assessed Ensemble algorithms exists, highlighting a significant gap in the literature about the potential of Ensemble methods. Five Ensemble algorithms were evaluated in this paper: Adaboost, Random Forest, Stacking, Random Subspace Method, and Extremely Randomized Trees. They achieved an average performance of more than 80% in all metrics. The results underscore the substantial benefits of fine tuning hyperparameters to enhance predictive performance. The Stacking algorithm achieved a higher performance than the other algorithms. This aspect is discussed in this paper. For effective copyright protection of digital images, this paper proposes a zero-watermarking algorithm based on local image feature information. The feature matrix of the algorithm is derived from the keypoint set determined by the Speeded-Up Robust Features (SURF) algorithm, and it calculates both the gradient feature descriptors and the vortex-like texture feature (VTF) descriptors of the keypoint set. Unlike traditional texture feature descriptors, the vortex-like texture feature descriptors proposed in this paper contain richer information and exhibit better stability. The advantage of this algorithm lies in its ability to calculate the keypoints of the digital image and provide a stable vector description of the local features of these keypoints, thereby reducing the amount of erroneous information introduced during attacks. With the launch of OpenAI's ChatGPT, large language models have garnered significant attention, and applications based on these models have proliferated. A critical challenge has emerged: how to rapidly enhance the capabilities of general LLMs in specialized domains. Compared to fine-tuning and other methods, prompt engineering has proven to be a cost-effective approach for improving the performance of LLMs on specific tasks, yielding remarkable results. However, current prompt example construction methods are numerous and lack a universally applicable approach that spans different models and tasks. Furthermore, existing research is predominantly tested and evaluated on a limited range of specific datasets, failing to explore the broader impact of these methods on a wider array of tasks. This paper proposes a prompt example construction method based on clustering and semantic similarity, which combines clustering algorithms with semantic similarity techniques to significantly improve the quality of prompt examples. In comparative tests conducted on six LLMs and seven datasets, the overall accuracy and stability of the proposed method significantly outperforms five other common methods, demonstrating broad applicability and the potential to enhance the output performance of all LLMs. Through comparative experiments, this paper also identifies that as the parameter scale of LLMs increases, the improvement effect of the prompt example construction method on LLM output performance tends to diminish. To tackle problems such as the destruction of topological structures and the loss of detailed features in the simplification of 3D building models, we propose a 3D building model simplification algorithm that considers detailed features and topological structures. Based on the edge collapse algorithm, the method defines the region formed by the first-order neighboring triangles of the endpoints of the edge to be collapsed as the simplification unit. It incorporates the centroid displacement of the simplification unit, significance level, and approximate curvature of the edge as influencing factors for the collapse cost to control the edge collapse sequence and preserve model details. Additionally, considering the unique properties of 3D building models, boundary edge detection and face overlay are added as constraints to maintain the model's topological structure. The experimental results show that the algorithm is superior to the classic QEM algorithm in terms of preserving the topological structure and detailed features of the model. Compared to the QEM algorithm and the other two comparison algorithms selected in this paper, the simplified model resulting from this algorithm exhibit a reduction in Hausdorff distance, mean error, and mean square error to varying degrees. Micro-polarizer array (MPA) is the core optical component of the Division of Focal-Plane (DoFP) imaging system, and its design is very important to the system's performance. Traditional design methods rely on theoretical analysis and simulation, which is complicated and requires designers to have profound theoretical foundations. In order to simplify the design process and improve efficiency, this paper proposes a 2 × 2 MPA reverse-design strategy based on particle swarm optimization (PSO). This strategy uses intelligent algorithms to automatically explore the design space in order to discover MPA structures with optimal optical properties. In addition, the all-pass filter is introduced to the MPA superpixel unit in the design, which effectively reduces the crosstalk and frequency aliasing between pixels. In this study, two MPA models were designed: a traditional MPA and an MPA with an all-pass filter. The Degree of Linear Polarization (DOLP) image contrast is used as the evaluation standard and compared with the traditional MPA; the results show that the contrast of the newly designed traditional MPA image is increased by 21%, and the MPA image with the all-pass filter is significantly increased by 82%. The continuous integration of distributed power into the distribution network has increased the complexity of the distribution network and created challenges in distribution-network reconfiguration. In order to make the distribution network operate in the optimal mode, this paper establishes a multi-objective reconfiguration-optimization model that takes into account active network loss, voltage offset, number of switching actions and distributed power output. For a distribution network with a distributed power supply, it is easy for the traditional binary particle swarm optimization algorithm to fall into a local optimum. In order to improve the convergence speed of the algorithm and avoid premature convergence, this paper adopts an improved binary particle swarm optimization algorithm to solve the problem. The IEEE33 node system is used as an example for simulation verification. The experimental results show that the algorithm improves the convergence speed and global search ability, effectively reduces the system network loss, and greatly improves the voltage level of each node. In the context of the high-speed development of 5G communications, high-performance decoding schemes for polar codes are a hot spot in channel coding research. Shift pruning successive cancellation list (SP-SCL) decoding aims to recover the correct path by shift pruning in the extra SCL decoding. However, the current SP-SCL decoding is inflexible in determining the shift positions. In this paper, a flexible shift pruning SCL (FSP-SCL) decoding is proposed. Firstly, the reasons for movement and the eliminated states of the correct path are analyzed in detail using the path metric range (P M R) , and on this basis, the validity of the method adopted in this paper for determining the shift priority of the information bits is verified. Secondly, the FSP-SCL decoding proposes two methods for determining the shift positions. One is the log-likelihood ratio (LLR) threshold method, which compares the LLR values of the eliminated paths on the shift bit with the corresponding LLR threshold to determine the shift positions. The other is the path distance method. It combines the minimum distance between the eliminated paths and the received vector with the path metrics to determine the shift positions. Both methods are more flexible and practical, as they can calculate the corresponding shift positions online based on a specific shift bit, avoiding the high complexity caused by the simulation method. Finally, this paper designs various experimental schemes to verify the decoding performance of the FSP-SCL. The experimental results show that in terms of error-correction performance, the LLR threshold-based FSP-SCL (FSPL (LLR threshold)) decoding, the path distance-based FSP-SCL (FSPL (path distance)) decoding and the existing SP-SCL decoding are roughly equal overall. Sequential recommendations aim to predict users' next interactions by modeling their interaction sequences. Most existing work concentrates on user preferences within these sequences, overlooking the complex item relationships across sequences. Additionally, these studies often fail to address the diversity of user interests, thus not capturing their varied latent preferences effectively. To tackle these problems, this paper develops a novel recommendation algorithm based on hypergraphs and contrastive learning named HyperCLR. It dynamically incorporates the time and location embeddings of items to model high-order relationships in user preferences. Moreover, we developed a graph construction approach named IFDG, which utilizes global item visit frequencies and spatial distances to discern item relevancy. By sampling subgraphs from IFDG, HyperCLR can align the representations of identical interaction sequences closely while distinguishing them from the broader global context on IFDG. This approach enhances the accuracy of sequential recommendations. Furthermore, a gating mechanism is designed to tailor the global context information to individual user preferences. Extensive experiments on Taobao, Books and Games datasets have shown that HyperCLR consistently surpasses baselines, demonstrating the effectiveness of the method. Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) enables mobile robots to autonomously perform localization and mapping tasks in unknown environments. Despite significant progress achieved by visual SLAM systems in ideal conditions, relying solely on a single robot and point features for mapping in large-scale indoor environments with weak-texture structures can affect mapping efficiency and accuracy. Therefore, this paper proposes a multi-robot collaborative mapping method based on point-line fusion to address this issue. This method is designed for indoor environments with weak-texture structures for localization and mapping. The feature-extraction algorithm, which combines point and line features, supplements the existing environment point feature-extraction method by introducing a line feature-extraction step. This integration ensures the accuracy of visual odometry estimation in scenes with pronounced weak-texture structure features. For relatively large indoor scenes, a scene-recognition-based map-fusion method is proposed in this paper to enhance mapping efficiency. This method relies on visual bag of words to determine overlapping areas in the scene, while also proposing a keyframe-extraction method based on photogrammetry to improve the algorithm's robustness. By combining the Perspective-3-Point (P3P) algorithm and Bundle Adjustment (BA) algorithm, the relative pose-transformation relationships of multi-robots in overlapping scenes are resolved, and map fusion is performed based on these relative pose relationships. We evaluated our algorithm on public datasets and a mobile robot platform. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm exhibits higher robustness and mapping accuracy. In order to address the ambiguous synchronization problem caused by the multi-peak nature of the autocorrelation function of the modulated signal of the Multiplexed Binary Offset Carrier (MBOC) in the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), a new synchronization algorithm for MBOC signals is presented in this paper, which uses a reconstruction correlation function to effectively handle synchronization ambiguities associated with multi-peak signals. The paper proposes an algorithm for reconstructing the correlation function of the MBOC signal by analyzing its characteristics. The algorithm generates three local auxiliary signals, namely, pseudo-random codes (PRN), BOC(1,1) signals, and MBOC signals, which are correlated with the received signal. By combining the three correlation functions, the algorithm produces a reconstructed correlation function based on reconstruction rules, eliminating side peaks and achieving unambiguous synchronization. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm in this paper eliminates all side peaks while maintaining a high detection probability, and its deblurring capability is optimal compared to other algorithms. In addition, the discriminant curve shows that the algorithm in this paper successfully eliminates all the mis-locked points, and the slope gain is improved by more than 2.5 dB compared with other algorithms, and the anti-multipath performance of the algorithm in this paper is better than that of other traditional algorithms, such as ASPeCT (Autocorrelation Side-Peak Cancellation Technique). Although deep learning (DL) algorithms have been proved to be effective in diverse research domains, their application in developing models for tabular data remains limited. Models trained on tabular data demonstrate higher efficacy using traditional machine learning models than DL models, which are largely attributed to the size and structure of tabular datasets and the specific application contexts in which they are utilized. Thus, the primary objective of this paper is to propose a method to use the supremacy of Stacked Bidirectional LSTM (Long Short-Term Memory) deep learning algorithms in pattern discovery incorporating tabular data with customized 3D tensor modeling in feeding neural networks. Our findings are empirically validated using six diverse, publicly available datasets each varying in size and learning objectives. This paper proves that the proposed model based on time-sequence DL algorithms, which were generally described as inadequate when dealing with tabular data, yields satisfactory results and competes effectively with other algorithms specifically designed for tabular data. An additional benefit of this approach is its ability to preserve simplicity while ensuring fast model training also with large datasets. This paper proposes a deep learning-based intelligent detection device for insulation pull rod defects, addressing the issues of low detection accuracy, poor timeliness of intelligent analysis, and the difficulty in preserving detection results. Firstly, by constructing the pull rod defects dataset and training the YOLOv5s network, along with commonly used object detection algorithms in industrial defect detection, the feasibility of deep learning networks for insulation pull rod defects detection is explored. Secondly, the trained model is combined to build an intelligent detection device for pull rod defects, integrating insulation pull rod image acquisition and defect detection into a unified system. The research results demonstrate that the YOLOv5s network can quickly and accurately detect pull rod defects. On the test set constructed in this paper, the detection performance metric mAP@0.5:0.95 of the trained model reached 54.7%. Specifically, the mAP@0.5 score was 86.9% at a threshold of 0.5. The detection speed FPS reached 169.5, significantly improving the detection efficiency and accuracy compared to traditional object detection algorithms. By establishing an organic connection between the image hardware acquisition device and the deep learning network, the existing problems of inefficient detection and difficult storage of detection results in pull rod defects detection methods are effectively addressed. Cellular structures consist of foams, honeycombs, and lattices. Lattices have many outstanding properties over foams and honeycombs, such as lightweight, high strength, absorbing energy, and reducing vibration, which has been extensively studied and concerned. Because of excellent properties, lattice structures have been widely used in aviation, bio-engineering, automation, and other industrial fields. In particular, the application of additive manufacturing (AM) technology used for fabricating lattice structures has pushed the development of designing lattice structures to a new stage and made a breakthrough progress. By searching a large number of research literature, the primary work of this paper reviews the lattice structures. First, based on the introductions about lattices of literature, the definition and classification of lattice structures are concluded. Lattice structures are divided into two general categories in this paper: uniform and non-uniform. Second, the performance and application of lattice structures are introduced in detail. In addition, the fabricating methods of lattice structures, i.e., traditional processing and additive manufacturing, are evaluated. Third, for uniform lattice structures, the main concern during design is to develop highly functional unit cells, which in this paper is summarized as three different methods, i.e., geometric unit cell based, mathematical algorithm generated, and topology optimization. Forth, non-uniform lattice structures are reviewed from two aspects of gradient and topology optimization. These methods include Voronoi-tessellation, size gradient method (SGM), size matching and scaling (SMS), and homogenization, optimization, and construction (HOC). The purpose of the self-driving car is to minimize the number casualties of traffic accidents. One of the effects of traffic accidents is an improper speed of a car, especially at the road turn. If we can make the anticipation of the road turn, it is possible to avoid traffic accidents. This paper presents a cutting edge curve lane detection algorithm based on the Kalman filter for the self-driving car. It uses parabola equation and circle equation models inside the Kalman filter to estimate parameters of a using curve lane. The proposed algorithm was tested with a self-driving vehicle. Experiment results show that the curve lane detection algorithm has a high success rate. In the work reported in this paper, a lost-in-space star pattern identification algorithm for agile spacecraft was studied. Generally, the operation of a star tracker is known to exhibit serious degradation or even failure during fast attitude maneuvers. While tracking methods are widely used solutions to handle the dynamic conditions, they require prior information about the initial orientation. Therefore, the tracking methods may not be adequate for autonomy of attitude and control systems. In this paper a novel autonomous identification method for dynamic conditions is proposed. Additional constraints are taken into account that can significantly decrease the number of stars imaged and the centroid accuracy. A strategy combining two existing classes for star pattern identification is proposed. The new approach is intended to provide a unique way to determine the identity of stars that promises robustness against noise and rapid identification. Moreover, representative algorithms implemented in actual space applications were utilized as counterparts to analyze the performance of the proposed method in various scenarios. Numerical simulations show that the proposed method is not only highly robust against positional noise and false stars, but also guarantees fast run-time, which is appropriate for high-speed applications. Featured Application: A self-configurable assembly workstation with integrated I4.0 technologies and controlled by smart algorithm provides an ergonomic workplace for each worker and prevents errors during assembly. Due to increasing competition in the global market and to meet the need for rapid changes in product variability, it is necessary to introduce self-configurable and smart solutions within the entire process chain, including manual assembly to ensure the more efficient and ergonomic performance of the manual assembly process. This paper presents a smart assembly system including newly developed smart manual assembly workstation controlled by a smart algorithm. The smart assembly workstation is self-configurable according to the anthropometry of the individual worker, the complexity of the assembly process, the product characteristics, and the product structure. The results obtained by a case study show that is possible to organize manual assembly process with rapid adaptation of the smart assembly system to new products and workers characteristics, to achieve ergonomic working conditions through Digital Human Modelling (DHM), to minimize assembly time, and to prevent error during the assembly process. In response to the challenges posed by small objects in remote sensing images, such as low resolution, complex backgrounds, and severe occlusions, this paper proposes a lightweight improved model based on YOLOv8n. During the detection of small objects, the feature fusion part of the YOLOv8n algorithm retrieves relatively fewer features of small objects from the backbone network compared to large objects, resulting in low detection accuracy for small objects. To address this issue, firstly, this paper adds a dedicated small object detection layer in the feature fusion network to better integrate the features of small objects into the feature fusion part of the model. Secondly, the SSFF module is introduced to facilitate multi-scale feature fusion, enabling the model to capture more gradient paths and further improve accuracy while reducing model parameters. Finally, the HPANet structure is proposed, replacing the Path Aggregation Network with HPANet. Compared to the original YOLOv8n algorithm, the recognition accuracy of mAP@0.5 on the VisDrone data set and the AI-TOD data set has increased by 14.3% and 17.9%, respectively, while the recognition accuracy of mAP@0.5:0.95 has increased by 17.1% and 19.8%, respectively. The proposed method reduces the parameter count by 33% and the model size by 31.7% compared to the original model. To achieve effective and accurate segmentation of photovoltaic panels in various working contexts, this paper proposes a comprehensive image segmentation strategy that integrates an improved Meanshift algorithm and an adaptive Shi-Tomasi algorithm. This approach effectively addresses the challenge of low precision in segmenting target regions and boundary contours in routine photovoltaic panel inspection. Firstly, based on the image information of photovoltaic panels collected under different environments by cameras, an improved Meanshift algorithm based on platform histogram optimization is used for preliminary processing, and images containing target information are cut out; then, the adaptive Shi-Tomasi algorithm is used to extract and screen feature points from the target area; finally, the extracted feature points generate the segmentation contour of the target photovoltaic panel, achieving accurate segmentation of the target area and boundary contour of the photovoltaic panel. When facing problems in the aerial pursuit game, most of the current unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have good maneuverability performance, but it is difficult to utilize the overload maneuverability of UAVs properly; further, UAVs tend to be more costly, and it is often difficult to effectively prevent the enemy from reaching the tailgating position behind the UAV in the aerial pursuit game. Therefore, there is a pressing need for a maneuvering algorithm that can effectively allow a UAV to quickly protect itself in a disadvantageous position, stably and effectively select a maneuver with the maneuvering algorithm, and stably and effectively establish an advantage by moving to an advantageous position. Therefore, this paper establishes a cloud model-based UAV-maneuvering aerial pursuit decision-making model based on pursuit-and-evasion game positions. Based on the evaluation of the latter, when the UAV is at a disadvantage, we use the constructed defensive maneuver expert pool to abandon the disadvantageous position. When the UAV is at an advantage, we use cloud model-based pursuit-and-evasion game maneuvering decision making to establish an advantageous position. According to the results of the simulation examples, the maneuvering decision-making method designed in this paper confirms that the UAV can quickly abandon its position and establish an advantage in case of parity or disadvantage and that it can also stably establish a tail-chasing position in case of advantage. Emotion recognition commonly relies on single-modal recognition methods, such as voice and video signals, which demonstrate a good practicability and universality in some scenarios. Nevertheless, as emotion-recognition application scenarios continue to expand and the data volume surges, single-modal emotion recognition proves insufficient to meet people's needs for accuracy and comprehensiveness when the amount of data reaches a certain scale. Thus, this paper proposes the application of multimodal thought to enhance emotion-recognition accuracy and conducts corresponding data preprocessing on the selected dataset. Appropriate models are constructed for both audio and video modalities: for the audio-modality emotion-recognition task, this paper adopts the "time-distributed CNNs + LSTMs" model construction scheme; for the video-modality emotion-recognition task, the "DeepID V3 + Xception architecture" model construction scheme is selected. Furthermore, each model construction scheme undergoes experimental verification and comparison with existing emotion-recognition algorithms. Finally, this paper attempts late fusion and proposes and implements a late-fusion method based on the idea of weight adaptation. The experimental results demonstrate the superiority of the multimodal fusion algorithm proposed in this paper. Topographic maps comprise a rich data source for the processing and analysis of geographic information. However, the management of paper topographic maps is still dominated by an inefficient manual method, and there is no counting equipment for topographic maps that is suitable for narrow map warehouse passages. The existing algorithms relating to paper counting require paper hardness and cannot directly obtain the internal information of topographic maps. To address the above problems, using a map inventory machine transformed from a paddle-type paper counting machine to perform a preliminary count and obtain the video data of the counting progress, an automatic counting algorithm for topographic maps for map management is proposed in this study. First, the periodic feature changes of all the targets and each individual target in the videos are analyzed. Second, a deformable parts model accelerated by fast feature pyramids and by reducing the region of interest is used for the object detection of mechanical wheels. The grayscale variance function is selected to quantify the quality change in the images. Finally, a fusion window counting model is constructed with the adaptive window and fixed window methods. The experimental results show that the average counting accuracy of the model is about 95%, which can verify the initial counting results of the machine and provide high-quality keyframes for the subsequent sheet designation recognition. To overcome the deficiencies in segmenting hot spots from thermal infrared images, such as difficulty extracting the edge features, low accuracy, and a high missed detection rate, an improved Mask R-CNN photovoltaic hot spot thermal image segmentation algorithm has been proposed in this paper. Firstly, the edge image features of hot spots were extracted based on residual neural networks. Secondly, by combining the feature pyramid structure, an edge-guided feature pyramid structure was designed, and the hot spot edge features were injected into a Mask R-CNN network. Thirdly, an infrared spatial attention module was introduced into the Mask R-CNN network when feature extraction and the infrared features of the detected hot spots were enhanced. Fourthly, the size ratio of the candidate frames was adjusted self-adaptively according to the structural characteristics of the aspect ratio of the hot spots. Finally, the validation experiments were conducted, and the results demonstrated that the hot spot contours of thermal infrared images were enhanced through the algorithm proposed in this paper, and the segmentation accuracy was significantly improved. Most image quality assessment (IQA) algorithms based on sparse representation primarily focus on amplitude information, often overlooking the structural composition of images. However, structural composition is closely linked to perceived image quality, a connection that existing methods do not adequately address. To fill this gap, this paper proposes a novel distorted-image quality assessment algorithm based on a sparse structure and subjective perception (IQA-SSSP). This algorithm evaluates the quality of distorted images by measuring the sparse structure similarity between a reference and distorted images. The proposed method has several advantages. First, the sparse structure algorithm operates with reduced computational complexity, leading to faster processing speeds, which makes it suitable for practical applications. Additionally, it efficiently handles large-scale data, further enhancing the assessment process. Experimental results validate the effectiveness of the algorithm, showing that it achieves a high correlation with human visual perception, as reflected in both objective and subjective evaluations. Specifically, the algorithm yielded a Pearson correlation coefficient of 0.929 and a mean squared error of 8.003, demonstrating its robustness and efficiency. By addressing the limitations of existing IQA methods and introducing a more holistic approach, this paper offers new perspectives on IQA. The proposed algorithm not only provides reliable quality assessment results but also closely aligns with human visual experience, thereby enhancing both the objectivity and accuracy of image quality evaluations. In order to improve the reading efficiency of pointer meter, this paper proposes a reading method based on LinkNet. Firstly, the meter dial area is detected using YOLOv8. Subsequently, the detected images are fed into the improved LinkNet segmentation network. In this network, we replace traditional convolution with partial convolution, which reduces the number of model parameters while ensuring accuracy is not affected. Remove one pair of encoding and decoding modules to further compress the model size. In the feature fusion part of the model, the CBAM (Convolutional Block Attention Module) attention module is added and the direct summing operation is replaced by the AFF (Attention Feature Fusion) module, which enhances the feature extraction capability of the model for the segmented target. In the subsequent rotation correction section, this paper effectively addresses the issue of inaccurate prediction by CNN networks for axisymmetric images within the 0–360° range, by dividing the rotation angle prediction into classification and regression steps. It ensures that the final reading part receives the correct angle of image input, thereby improving the accuracy of the overall reading algorithm. Process discovery aims to discover process models from event logs to describe actual business processes. The quality of event logs has an impact on the quality of process models, so preprocessing methods can be used to improve the quality of event logs. Chaotic activities may exist in real business scenarios, and the occurrence of chaotic activities is independent of other activities in the process and can occur at any location in the event log at any frequency. Therefore, chaotic activities seriously affect the model quality of process discovery. Filtering chaotic activities in event logs can effectively improve the quality of event logs and thus improve the quality of process models. The traditional chaotic activity filtering algorithm makes it difficult to balance accuracy and time performance. Therefore, a direct method for filtering chaotic activities is proposed in this paper. By analyzing the relationship between activities, chaotic activities are identified in the log according to the characteristics of chaotic activities and the direct following relationship of activities as the judgment condition, and the filtering of chaotic activities in the event log is realized. In addition, this paper proposes an indirect chaotic activity filtering method, which identifies and filters chaotic activities in the log by analyzing the influence of the existence of different activities on the overall chaos degree of the log. The proposed method is compared with the traditional chaotic activity filtering method on several simulation/real data sets, and the accuracy and running time between the multi-group event logs and the process models generated before and after chaotic activity filtering are analyzed, further verifying the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed method. By summarizing the experimental results, it is found that the accuracy of the proposed chaotic activity filtering methods is greater than that of the frequency-based filtering method and is close to that of the entropy-based chaotic activity filtering methods. Moreover, compared with other filtering methods used in the experiment, the chaotic activity filtering method proposed in this paper can improve the efficiency by 23.4% on average for simulation logs, and by 84.25% on average for real event logs. It is concluded that compared with other filtering methods, the proposed chaotic activity filtering methods have higher accuracy and can effectively improve the time performance of chaotic activity filtering.
