The purpose of image smoothing is to improve the visual effect of the image and improve the clarity of the image, so as to make the image more conducive to computer processing and various feature analysis. Because the current technology fails to smooth the preprocessed image, it leads to the extraction of image texture features. The anti-interference performance is weak. For this reason, an image texture feature extraction technology based on the digital twin is proposed. Similarity analysis is carried out through the internal structure of the image, and the image is smoothed by the semisupervised learning method. On the basis of optimizing the denoised image through digital twinning, detect target feature points in the original image, then remove the abnormal and split feature points, assign the direction of image texture feature points, and build a fuzzy back propagation neural network model. Up-to-date information regarding impervious surface is valuable for urban planning and management. The objective of this study is to develop neural computing models used for automatic impervious surface area detection at a regional scale. To achieve this task, advanced optimizers of adaptive moment estimation (Adam), a variation of Adam called Adamax, Nesterov-accelerated adaptive moment estimation (Nadam), Adam with decoupled weight decay (AdamW), and a new exponential moving average variant (AMSGrad) are used to train the artificial neural network models employed for impervious surface detection. These advanced optimizers are benchmarked with the conventional gradient descent with momentum (GDM). Remotely sensed images collected from Sentinel-2 satellite for the study area of Da Nang city (Vietnam) are used to construct and verify the proposed approach. Moreover, texture descriptors including statistical measurements of color channels and binary gradient contour are employed to extract useful features for the neural computing model-based pattern recognition. Experimental result supported by statistical test points out that the Nadam optimizer-based neural computing model has achieved the most desired predictive accuracy for the data collected in the studied region with classification accuracy rate of 97.331%, precision = 0.961, recall = 0.984, negative predictive value = 0.985, and F1 score = 0.972. Nowadays, the information processing capabilities and resource storage capabilities of computers have been greatly improved, which also provides support for the neural network technology. Convolutional neural networks have good characterization capabilities in computer vision tasks, such as image recognition technology. Aiming at the problem of high similarity image recognition and classification in a specific field, this paper proposes a high similarity image recognition and classification algorithm fused with convolutional neural networks. First, we extract the image texture features, train different types, and different resolution image sets and determine the optimal texture different parameter values. Second, we decompose the image into subimages according to the texture difference, extract the energy features of each subimage, and perform classification. Then, the input image feature vector is converted into a one-dimensional vector through the alternating 5-layer convolution and 3-layer pooling of convolutional neural networks. On this basis, different sizes of convolution kernels are used to extract different convolutions of the image features, and then use convolution to achieve the feature fusion of different dimensional convolutions. Finally, through the increase in the number of training and the increase in the amount of data, the network parameters are continuously optimized to improve the classification accuracy in the training set and in the test set. The actual accuracy of the weights is verified, and the convolutional neural network model with the highest classification accuracy is obtained. In the experiment, two image data sets of gems and apples are selected as the experimental data to classify and identify gems and determine the origin of apples. The increasing sophistication of malware variants such as encryption, polymorphism, and obfuscation calls for the new detection and classification technology. In this paper, MalDeep, a novel malware classification framework of deep learning based on texture visualization, is proposed against malicious variants. Through code mapping, texture partitioning, and texture extracting, we can study malware classification in a new feature space of image texture representation without decryption and disassembly. Furthermore, we built a malware classifier on convolutional neural network with two convolutional layers, two downsampling layers, and many full connection layers. We adopt the dataset, from Microsoft Malware Classification Challenge including 9 categories of malware families and 10868 variant samples, to train the model. The experiment results show that the established MalDeep has a higher accuracy rate for malware classification. In particular, for some backdoor families, the classification accuracy of the model reaches over 99%. Bridge expansion joints (BEJs) in service are susceptible to damage from various factors such as fatigue, impact, and environmental conditions. While visual inspection is the most common approach for inspecting BEJs, it is subjective and labor-intensive. In this paper, we propose a novel methodology for detecting the fault status of BEJs, inspired by voiceprint recognition (VPR) based on audio signals. We establish an Artificial Neural Network to filter nonevent segments from low signal-to-noise ratio signals, achieving an AuC value of 0.981. We design and improve ConFormer VPR models with a multifeature aggregation strategy and cascade them to realize fault detection of BEJs. For three successive tasks in classifying environment sound types, vehicle impact types, and faults, the ConFormer VPR models achieve AuC values of 0.975, 0.925, and 0.886, respectively, demonstrating the feasibility of our methods for unmanned inspection of BEJs. In this paper, we introduce a deep neural network (DNN) for forecasting the intra-day solar irradiance, photovoltaic PV plants, regardless of whether or not they have energy storage, can benefit from the work being done here. The proposed DNN utilises a number of different methodologies, two of which are cloud motion analysis and machine learning, in order to make forecasts regarding the climatological conditions of the future. In addition to this, the accuracy of the model was evaluated in light of the data sources that were easily accessible. In general, four different cases have been investigated. According to the findings, the DNN is capable of making more accurate and reliable predictions of the incoming solar irradiance than the persistent algorithm. This is the case across the board. Even without any actual data, the proposed model is considered to be state-of-the-art because it outperforms the current NWP forecasts for the same time horizon as those forecasts. When making predictions for the short term, using actual data to reduce the margin of error can be helpful. When making predictions for the long term, however, weather information can be beneficial. Purpose. We want to develop a model for predicting lymph node status based on positron emission computed tomography (PET) images of untreated ovarian cancer patients. We use the feature map formed by wavelet transform and the parameters obtained by image segmentation to build the model. The model is expected to help clinicians and provide additional information about what to do with first-visit patients. Materials and Methods. Our study included 224 patients with ovarian cancer. We have chosen two main methods to extract information from images. On the one hand, we segmented the image to extract the parameters to evaluate the clustering effect. On the other hand, we used wavelet transform to extract the image's texture information to form the image's feature map. Based on the above two kinds of information, we used residual neural network and support vector machine for modeling. Results. We established a model to predict lymph node metastasis in patients with primary ovarian cancer using PET images. On the training set, our accuracy was 0.8854, AUC: 0.9472, CI: 0.9098-0.9752, sensitivity was 0.9865, and specificity was 0.7952. On the test set, our accuracy was 0.9104, AUC: 0.9259, CI: 0.8417-0.9889, sensitivity was 0.8125, and specificity was 1.0000. Conclusions. We used wavelet transform to process the preoperative medical images of ovarian cancer patients, and the residual neural network can effectively predict the lymph node metastasis of ovarian cancer patients, which is undoubted of great significance for patients' staging and treatment options. It has been noted that disease detection approaches based on deep learning are becoming increasingly important in artificial intelligence-based research in the field of agriculture. Studies conducted in this area are not at the level that is desirable due to the diversity of plant species and the regional characteristics of many of these species. Although numerous researchers have studied diseases on plant leaves, it is undeniable that timely diagnosis of diseases on olive leaves remains a difficult task. It is estimated that people have been cultivating olive trees for 6000 years, making it one of the most useful and profitable fruit trees in history. Symptoms that appear on infected leaves can vary from one plant to another or even between individual leaves on the same plant. Because olive groves are susceptible to a variety of pathogens, including bacterial blight, olive knot, Aculus olearius, and olive peacock spot, it has been difficult to develop an effective olive disease detection algorithm. For this reason, we developed a unique deep ensemble learning strategy that combines the convolutional neural network model with vision transformer model. The goal of this method is to detect and classify diseases that can affect olive leaves. In addition, binary and multiclassification systems based on deep convolutional models were used to categorize olive leaf disease. The results are encouraging and show how effectively CNN and vision transformer models can be used together. Our model outperformed the other models with an accuracy of about 96% for multiclass classification and 97% for binary classification, as shown by the experimental results reported in this study. At present, the classification method used in image colour element analysis in China is still based on subjective visual evaluation. Because the evaluation process will inevitably be disturbed by human factors, it will not only have low efficiency but also produce large errors. To solve the above problems, this paper proposes an image colour data element analysis model based on depth neural network. Firstly, intelligent analysis of image colour data elements based on tensorflow is constructed, and the isomerized tensorflow framework is designed with the idea of Docker cluster to improve the efficiency of image element analysis. Secondly, considering the time error and spatial error diffusion model in the process of image analysis, the quantization modified error diffusion model is replaced by the original model for more accurate colour management. Image colour management is an important link in the process of image reproduction; the rotating principal component analysis method is used to correct and analyze the image colour error. Finally, using the properties of transfer learning and convolution neural network, an image colour element analysis model based on depth neural network is established. Large-scale image data is collected, and the effectiveness and reliability of the algorithm are verified from different angles. The results show that the new image colour analysis method can not only reveal the true colour components of the target image; furthermore, the real colour component of the target image also has high spectral data reconstruction accuracy, and the analysis results have strong adaptability. Not only were traditional artificial neural networks and machine learning difficult to meet the processing needs of massive images in feature extraction and model training but also they had low efficiency and low classification accuracy when they were applied to image classification. Therefore, this paper proposed a deep learning model of image classification, which aimed to provide foundation and support for image classification and recognition of large datasets. Firstly, based on the analysis of the basic theory of neural network, this paper expounded the different types of convolution neural network and the basic process of its application in image classification. Secondly, based on the existing convolution neural network model, the noise reduction and parameter adjustment were carried out in the feature extraction process, and an image classification depth learning model was proposed based on the improved convolution neural network structure. Finally, the structure of the deep learning model was optimized to improve the classification efficiency and accuracy of the model. In order to verify the effectiveness of the deep learning model proposed in this paper in image classification, the relationship between the accuracy of several common network models in image classification and the number of iterations was compared through experiments. The results showed that the model proposed in this paper was better than other models in classification accuracy. At the same time, the classification accuracy of the deep learning model before and after optimization was compared and analyzed by using the training set and test set. With the development of artificial intelligence and computer technology, the deep neural network algorithm is applied to the intelligentization of various fields of production and life. However, from the current application status, the application of artificial intelligence technology has many shortcomings. Based on this, this paper starts with the deep neural network algorithm, takes face recognition as the research tool, and deeply studies how to use the deep neural network algorithm to demonstrate the application of intelligent face recognition in complex environments. We need to use innovative biotechnology-based fertilization technologies to boost food production output. Gloriosa superba is one of the most well-known plants for its antibacterial and medicinal capabilities. The money plant is also known as the Gloriosa superba. We used a deep learning-based convolution neural network (CNN) classifier model to optimize the CNN algorithm parameter for better prediction. The enhanced particle swarm optimization (PSO) technique was used for optimization. Scale-invariant feature transform (SIFT) was used to extract the fungal spotted area. Digital camera with a high resolution acquires 300 dataset photographs from different villages in India for this investigation. Using a real-time fungal-affected image to train and test the model, different parametric measures are used to assess the model's performance. In this paper, we develop a detection module with strong training testing to develop a dense convolutional neural network model. The model is designed in such a way that it is trained with necessary features for optimal modelling of the cancer detection. The method involves preprocessing of computerized tomography (CT) images for optimal classification at the testing stages. A 10-fold cross-validation is conducted to test the reliability of the model for cancer detection. The experimental validation is conducted in python to validate the effectiveness of the model. The result shows that the model offers robust detection of cancer instances that novel approaches on large image datasets. The simulation result shows that the proposed method provides analyzes with 94% accuracy than other methods. Virtual reality is a computer technology that produces a simulated environment. It is completely immersive and gives users the viewpoint that they are somewhere else. In recent times, it has become a highly interactive and visualization tool that has gained interest among educators and scholars. Art learning is a teaching-learning approach that is dependent on learning "through the arts" and "with the arts;" it can be a procedure in which art develops the medium of teaching-learning and an important model in some subjects of the curriculum. In this work, we develop a grey wolf optimization with the residual network form of virtual reality application for environmental art learning (GWORN-EAL) technique. It aims to provide metacognitive actions to improve environmental art learning for young children or adults. The GWORN-EAL technique is mainly based on the stimulation of particular features of the target painting over a default image. The color palette of the recognized image of the Fauve painter was mapped to the target image using the Fauve vision of the painter and represented by vivid colors. For optimal hyperparameter tuning of the ResNet model, the GWO algorithm is employed. The experimental results indicated that the GWORN-EAL technique has accomplished effectual outcomes in several aspects. Online live streaming has been widely used in distant teaching, online live shopping, and so on. Particularly, online teaching live streaming breaks the time and space boundary of teaching and has better interactivity, which is a new distant education mode. As a new online sales model, online live shopping promotes the rapid development of Internet economy. However, the quality of live video affects the user experience. This paper studies the optimization algorithm of ultra-high-definition live streaming, focusing on superresolution technology. Convolutional neural network (CNN) is a multilayer artificial neural network designed to process two-dimensional input data. It takes advantage of CNN in image processing. This paper proposes an image superresolution algorithm based on hybrid dilated convolution and Laplacian pyramid. By mixing the dilated convolution module, the receptive field of the network can be improved more effectively to obtain more context information so that the high-frequency features of the image can be extracted more effectively. Experiment was running on Set5, Set14, Urban100, and BSD100 datasets, and the results reveal that the proposed algorithm outperforms baselines with respect to peak signal to noise ratio (PSNR), structural similarity index measurement (SSIM), and image quality. With the rapid development of Android, a major mobile Internet platform, Android malware attacks have become the number one threat to mobile Internet security. Traditional malware detection methods have low precision and greater time complexity. At present, image detection methods based on deep learning are used in malware detection. However, most of these methods are based on the largescale convolutional neural network model (such as VGG16). The computation and weight files of these models are very large, so they are not suitable for mobile Internet platforms with limited computation. A novel detection method based on a lightweight convolutional neural network is presented in this study. It transforms Android malware classes.dex, Androidmanifest.xml, and resource.arsc into RGB images and uses the lightweight convolutional neural network to extract the features of RGB images automatically. The field of image processing is distinguished by the variety of functions it offers and the wide range of applications it has in biomedical imaging. It becomes a difficult and time-consuming process for radiologists to do the manual identification and categorization of the tumour. It is a complex and time-consuming procedure conducted by radiologists or clinical professionals to remove the contaminated tumour region from magnetic resonance (MR) pictures. It is the goal of this study to improve the performance and reduce the complexity of the image segmentation process by investigating FCM predicted image segmentation procedures in order to reduce the intricacy of the process. Furthermore, relevant characteristics are collected from each segmented tissue and aligned as input to the classifiers for autonomous identification and relegation of encephalon cancers in order to increase the accuracy and quality rate of the neural network classifier. An evaluation, validation, and presentation of the experimental performance of the suggested approach have been completed. A unique APSO (accelerated particle swarm optimization) based artificial neural network model (ANNM) for the relegation of benign and malignant tumours is presented in this study effort, which allows for the automated identification and categorization of brain tumours. Using APSO training to improve the suggested ANNM model parameters would give a unique method to alleviate the stressful work of radiologists performing manual identification of encephalon cancers from MR images. The use of an APSO-based ANNM (artificial neural network model) model for automated brain tumour classification has been presented in order to demonstrate the resilience of the classification model. Current music recommendation systems can explore the general relationship between the users and songs to recommend music to the users; however, they cannot distinguish the different preferences of different users for the same song. For example, a user may like a song because of the singer, while another user will like it not for the singer but just because of the composition of the song or its melody. A recommender system that knows this difference would be more effective in recommending music to the users. To this end, this paper proposes a music recommendation model based on multilayer attention representation, which learns song representations from multidimensions using user-attribute information and song content information, and mines the preference relationship between users and songs. In order to distinguish the differences in user preferences for multidomain features of songs, a feature-dependent attention network is designed; in order to distinguish the differences in user preferences for different historical behaviors and to explore the temporal dependence of user behaviors, a song-dependent attention network is designed. Finally, the SoftMax function is used to calculate the distribution of users' preferences for candidate songs and is used to generate recommendations. Digital sky images are studied for the definition of sky conditions in accordance with the CIE Standard General Sky Guide. Likewise, adequate image-processing methods are analyzed that highlight key image information, prior to the application of Artificial Neural Network classification algorithms. Twenty-two image-processing methods are reviewed and applied to a broad and unbiased dataset of 1500 sky images recorded in Burgos, Spain, over an extensive experimental campaign. The dataset comprises one hundred images of each CIE standard sky type, previously classified from simultaneous sky scanner data. Color spaces, spectral features, and texture filters image-processing methods are applied. While the use of the traditional RGB color space for image-processing yielded good results (ANN accuracy equal to 86.6%), other color spaces, such as Hue Saturation Value (HSV), which may be more appropriate, increased the accuracy of their global classifications. The use of either the green or the blue monochromatic channels improved sky classification, both for the fifteen CIE standard sky types and for simpler classification into clear, partial, and overcast conditions. The main conclusion was that specific image-processing methods could improve ANN-algorithm accuracy, depending on the image information required for the classification problem. In this paper, a three-dimensional anisotropic diffusion equation is used to conduct an in-depth study and analysis of students' concentration in video recognition in English teaching classrooms. A multifeature fusion face live detection method based on diffusion model extracts Diffusion Kernel (DK) features and depth features from diffusion-processed face images, respectively. DK features provide a nonlinear description of the correlation between successive face images and express face image sequences in the temporal dimension; depth features are extracted by a pretrained depth neural network model that can express the complex nonlinear mapping relationships of images and reflect the more abstract implicit information inside face images. To improve the effectiveness of the face image features, the extracted DK features and depth features are fused using a multicore learning method to obtain the best combination and the corresponding weights. The two features complement each other, and the fused features are more discriminative, which provides a strong basis for the live determination of face images. Experiments show that the method has excellent performance and can effectively discriminate the live nature of faces in images and resist forged face attacks. Based on the above face detection and expression recognition algorithms, the classroom concentration analysis system based on expression recognition is designed to achieve real-time acquisition and processing of classroom images, complete student classroom attendance records using face detection and face recognition methods, and analyze students' concentration from the face integrity and facial expression of students facing the blackboard by combining face detection and expression recognition to visualize and display students' classroom data for teachers, students, and parents with more data support and help. The word radiomics, like all domains of type omics, assumes the existence of a large amount of data. Using artificial intelligence, in particular, different machine learning techniques, is a necessary step for better data exploitation. Classically, researchers in this field of radiomics have used conventional machine learning techniques (random forest, for example). More recently, deep learning, a subdomain of machine learning, has emerged. Its applications are increasing, and the results obtained so far have demonstrated their remarkable effectiveness. Several previous studies have explored the potential applications of radiomics in colorectal cancer. These potential applications can be grouped into several categories like evaluation of the reproducibility of texture data, prediction of response to treatment, prediction of the occurrence of metastases, and prediction of survival. Few studies, however, have explored the potential of radiomics in predicting recurrence-free survival. In this study, we evaluated and compared six conventional learning models and a deep learning model, based on MRI textural analysis of patients with locally advanced rectal tumours, correlated with the risk of recidivism; in traditional learning, we compared 2D image analysis models vs. 3D image analysis models, models based on a textural analysis of the tumour versus models taking into account the peritumoural environment in addition to the tumour itself. Osteolysis is one of the most prominent reasons of revision surgeries in total joint arthroplasty. This biological phenomenon is induced by wear particles and corrosion products that stimulate inflammatory biological response of surrounding tissues. The eventual responses of osteolysis are the activation of macrophages leading to bone resorption and prosthesis failure. Various factors are involved in the initiation of osteolysis from biological issues, design, material specifications, and model of the prosthesis to the health condition of the patient. Nevertheless, the factors leading to osteolysis are sometimes preventable. Changes in implant design and polyethylene manufacturing are striving to improve overall wear. Osteolysis is clinically asymptomatic and can be diagnosed and analyzed during follow-up sessions through various imaging modalities and methods, such as serial radiographic, CT scan, MRI, and image processing-based methods, especially with the use of artificial neural network algorithms. Deep learning algorithms with a variety of neural network structures such as CNN, U-Net, and Seg-UNet have proved to be efficient algorithms for medical image processing specifically in the field of orthopedics for the detection and segmentation of tumors. These deep learning algorithms can effectively detect and analyze osteolytic lesions well in advance during follow-up sessions in order to administer proper treatments before reaching a critical point. Osteolysis can be treated surgically or nonsurgically with medications. However, revision surgeries are the only solution for the progressive osteolysis. In this literature review, the underlying causes, mechanisms, and treatments of osteolysis are discussed with the main focus on the possible computer-based methods and algorithms that can be effectively employed for the detection of osteolysis. With the acceleration of global integration, the demand for English instruction is increasingly rising. On the other hand, Chinese English learners struggle to learn spoken English due to the limited English learning environment and teaching conditions in China. The advancement of artificial intelligence technology and the advancement of language teaching and learning techniques have ushered in a new era of language learning and teaching. Deep learning technology makes it possible to solve this problem. Speech recognition and assessment technology are at the heart of language learning, and speech recognition technology is the foundation. Because of the complex changes in speech pronunciation, a large amount of speech signal data, the high dimension of speech characteristic parameters, and a large amount of speech recognition and evaluation computation, the large volume of speech signal processing requires higher requirements of hardware and software resources and algorithms. However, traditional speech recognition algorithms, such as dynamic time-warped algorithms, hidden Markov models, and artificial neural networks, have their advantages and disadvantages. They have encountered unprecedented bottlenecks, so it is difficult to improve their accuracy and speed. To solve these problems, this paper focuses on evaluating the multimedia teaching effect of college English. A multilevel residual convolutional neural network algorithm for oral English pronunciation recognition is proposed based on a deep convolutional neural network. The experiments show that our algorithm can assist learners in identifying inconsistencies between their pronunciation and standard pronunciation and correcting pronunciation errors, resulting in improved oral English learning performance. A quarter of all cancer deaths are due to lung cancer. Studies show that early diagnosis and treatment of this disease are the most effective way to increase patient life expectancy. In this paper, automatic and optimized computer-aided detection is proposed for lung cancer. The method first applies a preprocessing step for normalizing and denoising the input images. Afterward, Kapur entropy maximization is performed along with mathematical morphology to lung area segmentation. Afterward, 19 GLCM features are extracted from the segmented images for the final evaluations. The higher priority images are then selected for decreasing the system complexity. The feature selection is based on a new optimization design, called Improved Thermal Exchange Optimization (ITEO), which is designed to improve the accuracy and convergence abilities. The images are finally classified into healthy or cancerous cases based on an optimized artificial neural network by ITEO. Simulation is compared with some well-known approaches and the results showed the superiority of the suggested method. Soil erosion induced by rainfall is a critical problem in many regions in the world, particularly in tropical areas where the annual rainfall amount often exceeds 2000 mm. Predicting soil erosion is a challenging task, subjecting to variation of soil characteristics, slope, vegetation cover, land management, and weather condition. Conventional models based on the mechanism of soil erosion processes generally provide good results but are time-consuming due to calibration and validation. The goal of this study is to develop a machine learning model based on support vector machine (SVM) for soil erosion prediction. The SVM serves as the main prediction machinery establishing a nonlinear function that maps considered influencing factors to accurate predictions. In addition, in order to improve the accuracy of the model, the history-based adaptive differential evolution with linear population size reduction and population-wide inertia term (L-SHADE-PWI) is employed to find an optimal set of parameters for SVM. Thus, the proposed method, named L-SHADE-PWI-SVM, is an integration of machine learning and metaheuristic optimization. For the purpose of training and testing the method, a dataset consisting of 236 samples of soil erosion in Northwest Vietnam is collected with 10 influencing factors. The training set includes 90% of the original dataset; the rest of the dataset is reserved for assessing the generalization capability of the model. The experimental results indicate that the newly developed L-SHADE-PWI-SVM method is a competitive soil erosion predictor with superior performance statistics. Most importantly, L-SHADE-PWI-SVM can achieve a high classification accuracy rate of 92%, which is much better than that of backpropagation artificial neural network (87%) and radial basis function artificial neural network (78%). Oral leukoplakia represents the most common oral potentially malignant disorder, so early diagnosis of leukoplakia is important. The aim of this study is to propose an effective texture analysis algorithm for oral leukoplakia diagnosis. Thirty-five patients affected by leukoplakia were included in this study. Intraoral photography of normal oral mucosa and leukoplakia were taken and processed for texture analysis. Two features of texture, run length matrix and co-occurrence matrix, were analyzed. Difference was checked by ANOVA. Factor analysis and classification by the artificial neural network were performed. Results revealed easy possible differentiation leukoplakia from normal mucosa (p < 0.05). Neural network discrimination shows full leukoplakia recognition (sensitivity 100%) and specificity 97%. This objective analysis in the neural network revealed that involving 3 textural features into optical analysis of the oral mucosa leads to proper diagnosis of leukoplakia. Although paraquat (PQ) concentrations are the most reliable prognosis predictors of PQ poisoning, these laboratory tests are not readily available in all hospitals. In this study, we proposed an imaging related parameter, that is, the ratio of injured lung volume fraction, for the prognosis evaluation of acute PQ poisoning based on the correlation between disease progress and lung imaging features. An artificial neural network was trained and then used to classify the injured and normal lung regions. The ratio of injured lung volume fraction was calculated from the injured lung volume fractions in the first and second CT scans after three-dimensional reconstruction. Parameters of blood tests were collected. A significant difference was observed with respect to the ratio of injured lung volume fraction between survivors and nonsurvivors (0.73 ± 0.17 versus 0.40 ± 0.14, P < 0.001). No patients survived when the ratio of injured lung volume fraction was less than 0.3, while all patients survived as the ratio of injured lung volume fraction was greater than 0.8. Thus, the ratio of injured lung volume fraction may provide an alternative and informative measure for the prognosis of acute PQ poisoning. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
