Abstract

The authors encourage physical scientists to take serious consideration of the idea that their research practice can be improved through systematic application of social science of creativity and research. They mention the Art and Science of Science and Technology Forum and Roundtable sponsored by Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 2013, which brought together physical scientists and social scientists, and the concepts of divergent and convergent thinking.
