This book contains the revised and extended versions of selected papers from the 15th International Conference on Agents and Artificial Intelligence, ICAART 2023, held in Lisbon, Portugal, during February 22–24, 2023. The 23 full papers included in this book were carefully reviewed and selected from 306 submissions. The conference was organized in 2 tracks as follows: One track focuses on Agents, Multi-Agent Systems and Software Platforms, Distributed Problem Solving and Distributed AI in general. The other track focuses mainly on Artificial Intelligence, Knowledge Representation, Planning, Learning, Scheduling, Perception Reactive AI Systems, and Evolutionary Computing and other topics related to Intelligent Systems and Computational Intelligence.

Digital health and medical informatics have grown in importance in recent years, and have now become central to the provision of effective healthcare around the world. This book presents the proceedings of the 30th Medical Informatics Europe conference (MIE). This edition of the conference, hosted by the European Federation for Medical Informatics (EFMI) since the 1970s, was due to be held in Geneva, Switzerland in April 2020, but as a result of measures to prevent the spread of the Covid19 pandemic, the conference itself had to be cancelled. Durch eine detaillierte Analyse der Übersetzungstechniken und der Anpassungen an die jeweiligen Zielkulturen wird ein tiefes Verständnis für die Komplexität audiovisueller Translation vermittelt. Die Arbeit beginnt mit einer Einleitung in das Thema und einer Erläuterung des Begriffs „Übersetzen“. Danach wird auf die audiovisuelle Translation eingegangen, wobei speziell auf intralinguale und interlinguale Übersetzung, einschließlich Voice-over, Untertitelung und Synchronisation, fokussiert wird. Die spezifischen Herausforderungen und Methoden der Adaption fremdsprachiger Filme in Deutschland und Russland werden dargestellt. Eine Zusammenfassung des Inhalts von „The Green Mile“ leitet über zum Kernstück der Arbeit: dem Vergleich und der Analyse der deutschen und russischen Synchronfassungen. Dabei werden sprach- und kulturspezifische Aspekte herausgearbeitet. Es folgt eine Diskussion über Übersetzungsprobleme und eine kritische Betrachtung der beiden Synchronfassungen mit Verbesserungsvorschlägen.

Despite increasing scholarship on the cultural Cold War, focus has been persistently been fixed on superpowers and their actions, missing the important role played by individuals and organizations all over Europe during the Cold War years.This volume focuses on cultural diplomacy and artistic interaction between Eastern and Western Europe after 1945. Information communication technologies have become the necessity in everyday life enabling increased level of communication, processing and information exchange to extent that one could not imagine only a decade ago. Innovations in these technologies open new fields in areas such as: language processing, biology, medicine, robotics, security, urban planning, networking, governance and many others. The applications of these innovations are used to define services that not only ease, but also increase the quality of life.Good education is essential for establishing solid basis of individual development and performance.
