- Abstract
This book focuses on the latest developments in animal science and zoology. Chapter 1 is aimed at the concept of sustainable livestock. Chapter 2 focuses on progresses in equine cytogenetics, and genomic tools. Chapter 3 analyzes morphometric parameters of the fine structure of the primary remiges of Corvid Birds (Corvidae) in the context of adaptation to flight. Chapter 4 aims to generate Allometric models for five species of Carcharhiniformes. Chapter 5 analyzes patterns of foraging activity among birds during the winter. Chapter 6 discusses the application of nano-sensors in livestock disease diagnoses. Chapter 7 describes and analyzes new species of plume moths (Pterophoridae) from the northern part of Chile Región de Atacama and some plume and flower moths from South America.
